Had a main water supply line break and called 3 different companies to come out and assess the situation. One company never returned the call. The other company called back 2 days later and said their crew was on the way over but wanted to know how much pipe they needed to bring. I asked them to come out and inspect what the problem was first but they refused. Stated they could come run new pipe that day but if I wanted just an estimate, it would take them 3 weeks to arrive!!

But luckily the 3rd company was CDK Plumbing. Dan came out and found the leaking pipe. I did not have to run a new line since he found the leak was not under my concrete slab. Dan and his crew dug up the pipe, found the leak and repaired it in a couple of hours. They even came in and cleaned out the faucet heads which collected sand debris from the leak. And his price was very reasonable. I have no doubt that any other plumber in this area would have charged me twice as much than CDK Plumbing. I can not say enough great things about Dan and CDK. This company is very honest and professional, they will be the first plumber I call in the future. Don't hesitate to hire CDK over any other plumber in Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs or surrounding areas!

CDK plumbing is fabulous! I highly recommend them. We have been dealing with water heater and hot water issues since building our house 2.5 years ago. CDK was our third plumber and Dan was able to diagnose the problem immediately and worked with us to resolve the issue which involved a new water heater and recirculation pump. And the underlying issue was something the builder's plumber should have been aware of + the inspector who didn't catch it.

We used CDK Plumbing to plumb a bathroom and two extra sink areas in a basement we are finishing. The first time they came out they were professional and courteous. Yesterday, the came out to finish the job, since the drywall and painting was done, by putting in the toilet and sink. The first problem with communication came when they failed to call me or my husband to let us know they were coming out. I was surprised when they rang the doorbell as I was getting ready to leave for work. Since I didn't know they were coming, I had not arranged to work from home nor did I have anyone who was able to stay at the house that day. I let them in, showed them around and told them to call me if they needed anything. I remarked that the lead guy was not the same one who had been out here doing the work the first time. When I came home, I was surprised to find 8 holes in the ceiling where they were looking for a valve shut-off. Many of the holes are as big as my head. First of all, I think they should have written down where they had installed the valve on our paperwork, so that if they weren't going to send the same guy out, it would have been well documented. Alternatively, in this age of camera phones, they could have taken pictures after everything was installed, to document where they had installed all the valves - this is what the electrician had done. Finally, NOBODY CALLED US! I would think it would be a policy that if you were to cut into the drywall, you would CALL THE HOMEOWNER first. We remembered where the valves were installed and could have, with a 5 minute phone call, instructed them on the location so that they would have had to only make one or maybe two holes looking for it - NOT 8! I cannot fathom what when through their heads after hole, say 5, to not think - maybe I should contact the homeowner and let them know I'm turning their brand new, perfect, expensive, painted drywall into swiss cheese. At no point in time were either my husband nor I contacted by them. Not even when they were done; so we were left to discover this mistake by ourselves. This company waisted time (how long does it take to cut 8 separate holes? how long will it take us to fix 8 separate holes?) and money (How much will it cost us, an expense that they say is ours deal with). Communication is cheap and easy. Communication is the key to a happy homeowner. A 5 minute call would have saved the company from this bad review. I would not recommend CDK Plumbing until they review their communication policy and make sure they keep the homeowners in the loop.

Update: I have now spoken with our contractor, who takes partial responsibility for the above situations, since he approved ONE hole to be cut into the ceiling. The owner of CDK has also called and apologized for the mistake. I appreciate how he took responsibility for the situation. He has promised to pay for the repair. Therefore I am raising my review by one star.

I called CDK yesterday to see if they could come fix a line under a sink at our business. Dan (the owner) came in 15 minutes and then fixed the issue in minutes. Clearly knew what he was doing and had a ton of experience. Clean cut, polite, and professional. He also gave us quick estimate for some additions we were considering and clearly explained the scope and variables of the work. Will definitely call again for our business and home.

Dan and Karla have been amazing to work with! Extremely responsive, timely and fair pricing. Dan was honest and thorough when giving me options for a repair that was needed. I’ve already referred others to them based on my first experience alone.

I will definitely recommend CDK Plumbing in the future. Cameron was on time, courteous and professional. He answered all of my questions prior to completing the work. They will be the only plumbing company I call in the future.

CDK plumbing is wonderful. I called them originally to fix my water heater. The owner, Dan, came over right away to diagnose the problem and was able to get it fixed quickly. They are very reliable, do great work, and are priced fairly. Since then, I've called on them a couple more times for other plumbing needs.

Exceptional service...After he was done, I found out how I could recoup some of the extra money I spent on my water bill because of the leaky faucet. I highly recommend CDK Plumbing.

I called CDK to fix a leak over our screened in porch and under our master bath. They came out the next day and found the issue. Unfortunately we couldn't fix immediately as the weather was still below freezing so Dan recommended we wait until warmer. We did, and they fixed in about an hour. Great service! Great customer service! They will now have all of my plumbing business moving forward! i highly recommend these folks! They are a small local independently owned company as well. BONUS!

We recently completed 2 bathroom renovations with CDK (every fixture in both bathrooms had to be moved). Dan and Don were wonderful to work with! Dan and his team (Don) spent two days to replace the old PolyB water supply pipes installed in 1995 for 2000 square feet single family house with Viega PEX. He listened my concerns, and provided his suggestions if needed. I can not expect more than he can offer. His service is fantastic so that the general contractor I hired for other tasks gave him the thumbs up. The drywall damage was minimum. I strongly suggest people contact his team first when you need plumbing service. At least I will !!! I wish I can give his work 6 rating if available .

Their drivers are completely irresponsible. Legitimately ran me off the road full well knowing I was right there. They were going 20mph over the speed limit in a neighborhood road to get in front of me (no one was behind me) and decided to run me off the road just to get one car ahead.

Dan and his team are prompt, professional and very thorough. I've had them complete multiple large (and small) jobs in the two homes I've owned and won't go anywhere else for my plumbing needs. His team assessed a cracked pipe in my front yard and fixed it as well as installed a new water heater recently. Dan trusts his team and then came back personally to check their work before considering the job done. Highly recommend.

I have used CDK many times in the past but was very disappointed with this service call and will no longer be using them for any plumbing needs. I will find another plumber who does not install upgraded parts without first informing the customer of the huge price difference.

Dan returned my call for a quote very quickly. He was very efficient in communicating the information he needed, replied back with a quote within the hour and got me in his schedule the next day. Charming, personable, and I would trust him to get the job done right.

Good communication and excellent service. Scheduled CDK Plumbing to come out and replace a water heater. Scheduling was easy and price was better than most. They adjusted the quote based on several changes to things that I requested, including a replacement of the main water shutoff valve. They arrived on time and were efficient and courteous about getting the water heater replaced. Would definitely use them again for future plumbing needs.
