Please note, I have waited about a month since the service, just to make sure the review was not driven by emotions. Initially I was really impressed -- sure they charged me $40 to come out and give an estimate, but felt like they understood the job. Many things were done right. A couple of things were not -- resulting in me (the homeowner) having to break apart the newly set concrete to compensate for an incorrectly installed shower drain. Then, after the tile guy pointed out that the shower valve protruded too far, I had to rip apart the drywall and reset the unit. Ironically, this was the first time I ever hired a plumber (usually do these things myself), but life was busy and I did not have time for this. For the record, I did contact Moon Valley when the issue involving the drywall was noticed and a guy named George seemed mildly interested, but this was not an "emergency" so there was nothing he could do. This was frustrating, but where it got worse was when their customer service person, Sharon M., called me/sent emails, there was no apparent sense of apology, just a great deal of defensiveness. Sure, my tile project would have been put on hold for who knows how long if I did not fix the problems -- but when I reported it, it was not an "emergency" so she did not see what the big deal was about. She stated that I did not give them a chance to fix it -- which is not true -- I contacted them immediately and spoke to George. I think what she meant is that I should have been willing to wait for days for them to get around to stopping by. For the record, no discount was ever offered for my hassles. Ironically, I liked the plumber and despite the issues, that was not was bothered me...we all make mistakes. It was the way Sharon, on behalf of Moon Valley, handled the situation that left me never wanting to do business with Moon Valley again. Their prices are higher than an independent plumber (my experience) -- apparently what you are paying for is "the service".

Was on the lookout for a new plumber I could count on, and when our kitchen developed a leak I was lucky enough to get in touch with Simba, through Thumbtack. Had a great experience with Jacob, one of their plumbing techs. He was very straightforward at diagnosing the problem, and even though we ended up having a larger issue than we initially thought he went above and beyond to accommodate and complete our project for us. Will definitely be adding them to our trusted list for next time the need arises for a quality plumber!

James arrived early and did all he could to clean the drain of a grease blockage. He was pleasant and as far as I can tell did a good job. Stayed with it until he broke through the blockage. Just hoping that solves the problem long term.

Cody Rogers was our guy for almost a full day's worth of plumbing "fixes." He was punctual, professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. He worked to make everything perfect - and achieved all that! As we have in the past, we recommend Cody & Parker & Sons very highly.

The gentleman who took my call (Bill?)was very pleasant. I was notified, in advance, who I should expect to arrive for the service call. Ron (technician) arrived and was very thorough, efficient and knowledgeable. He explained each process and answered any questions I had. I truly appreciate his commitment to providing quality customer service. Excellent customer service from George Brazil from start to finish!

Nick was very professional and showed me exactly where the leak was and how it needed to be fixed. I was very confident with his diagnosis and he fixed the leak in a timely manner. I had a lot going on this week so to have one less thing meant a lot. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Had a couple of small items and Dave had no problem taking care of it. Showed up when he said he would. Gave a decent price and done the work to a good standard and on the day he said he would.

Both of our kitchen sinks were blocked. The team was quick to respond and fairly priced. They had to remove a 50-foot-long clog in our line. In his explanation, the technician was professional, friendly, and clear. I would use them again and strongly suggest them!

I have worked with Danny for nearly 20 years. Danny is the definition of an Old School Plumber. He is thorough and pays attention to the details. Indoors or outdoors he knows his stuff. Rhonda (his wife) manages his office just as well. They are a Perfect example of a successful small business!
