Don’t waste your time! Worst service I have ever encountered. Was overcharged for “work” they never did. And they were rude over the phone. They promised me they wouldn’t leave my house until heat was working and, not only is the hvac not fixed, I never heard from them again. Terrible company.

I called and scheduled someone to come to my home to replace expired smoke detectors, to replace some traditional toggle switches with flat switches, and to check out a switch that was having intermittent problems.On the morning of the appointment, I received a text when the technician, Butch P., was on the way. Love getting the alerts that I should expect them soon. He arrived in the expected appointment window, and I walked him through what I wanted to have done.He worked up a quote on the spot, so I knew what to expect cost-wise. I didn't really have any idea as to how to judge if it was appropriate, since I didn't have anything to compare it with. I knew I needed the work done, so... I went ahead with it.He was very methodical - took his time, going from task to task, answering any questions that I had.Everything was completed per my satisfaction. I have used Jewell Mechanical twice in the last month for plumbing issues. Scott did the work both times. He replaced a leaking shut-off valve on the commode and unclogged the shower drain. He arrived on time and was polite and professional. He was very knowledgeable and had the tools and supplies he needed to do the work. Best of all he had pride in the work he was doing and left me as a satisficed customer.

I called to schedule leak detection for a water main leak. I was told the only person in the office who can help me was on lunch and they'd email me a contact when they returned. Called back an hour later and was rudely told they were working on it. I explained that we had no water in our home and needed answers ASAP. Was again rudely brushed off. My husband then called about 30 minutes later after no word from them. Spoke to someone else in the office who was also rude and said they were backed up for more than a week. No sense of urgency or caring on their part! We went elsewhere.
