I got a quote for getting a water softener installed and the quote was $900 and some change i believe. I did not use Parthenon Plumbing Heating & Cooling. I went with a vendor that was more than half that. :)

2 years ago, my A/C went out during the hot month of August. I first called 2 different HVAC companies who took days to come out but were unable to resolve the problem. After 10 days of sweltering weather, I called Parthenon on a Sunday night and they came right out and diagnosed the problem. By the next evening, we had cool air and signed up for their maintenance program and have had no problems since.

I would not recommend Parthenon Plumbing. I used this company to replace a faucet for the bathroom sink and the technician was unprofessional from start to finish. At the outset, the technician arrived more than 3 hours early but didn’t bother to let me know until he was just a couple minutes away from the house. Then, shortly after the technician got started, he requested a bath towel to sop up water that had started leaking all over the bathroom floor. After the technician had completed the installation, I noticed that he had knocked a small hole in the white porcelain sink top adjacent to the base of the faucet handle assembly. When I pointed this out, the technician tried to claim that it was already there and had been covered by the original faucet handle assembly, which was slightly larger. When I showed the technician that the hole was clearly outside of the faint ring showing where the previously assembly had been, the technician said he would discuss it with his supervisor and get back to me. I never heard back. When I called to follow up, I got the company dispatcher and again never heard back from the technician or his supervisor. At that point, I bought a porcelain repair kit and fixed the hole myself. Needless to say, I will never again use Parthenon Plumbing.

This was a very good experience. The plumber new exactly what he needed to do. He did 3 jobs on my plumbing in under an hour. He was very courteous and professional, and wore protective gear the entire time, wearing a face mask, covering his shoes every time he stepped into my house, and changing his gloves every time he had to go back to his van. It could not have been better. I would use Parthenon Pluming again, and I highly recommend them. Thank you, Parthenon. GREAT JOB!

I am remodeling a bathroom, and needed some changes for the new shower and vanity. I could not find a plumber that would show up. A friend at Church recommended I call Parthenon. The estimator called me back and set up an appointment, and showed up on time! We scheduled the plumber for 8:30 in the morning. At 8:30, he was outside getting his tools. Work is fabulous, and price very reasonable!

It is always hard to find a good plumber and I was in desperate need of someone to fix my outdoor faucet. A friend told me to try Parthenon Plumbing. I called in the afternoon and the next morning I got a wonderful plumber by the name of Anthony. He was very polite, clean and obviously knew exactly what he was doing. I had to get back to work and I felt very comfortable leaving him at my house. He called when he was done to let me know what he did and even let my cat out of her cage so I wouldn't have to come back home! I can't wait to get back home and finally use my outdoor faucet! He went above and beyond and I would highly recommend Parthenon Plumbing to anyone!!!

It took 3 trips to get leaky toilets fixed - the very pleasant service man couldn't seem to find the right parts. (I finally found them myself and had the man back to install.) Then during the repair, he didn't tighten the bolt under one tank in an infrequently used room upstairs. By the time we discovered the leak, our upstairs carpet was soaked and the garage ceiling had a leak. I was shocked at the carelessness.

We are In the Water Damage Restoration business and utilize Parthenon on a regular basis. They are responsive to our emergency calls at any time of the day/night. Their technicians are professional, courteous, and thorough in the work they do. I am grateful to have developed a relationship with this company.

Parthenon Plumbing is fantastic. I've used them for over 5 years now, for toilet seal replacement, whole-house water filter installation, and an emergency broken pipe. Their service is fast and affordable. I was especially surprised that getting emergency service on a Sunday night, when our whole house was without water due to a broken pipe, was very reasonably priced.

I appreciate the responsiveness of this company to come out and address the problem but they charge insane prices. We had a water heater breakdown in one of our rental units. When it's a rental you are in a place where you have no choice but to fix it right away for the tenant. I know we were completely taken advantage of because of this. We were charged $1,400 to install a 10 GALLON water heater. A VERY small unit that size should have cost half the price. Very disappointed.

We had a complete pipe change for under our home from cast iron to PVC. They were very informative, prompt, neat and professional for this all day job.

I was looking for a second opinion and a better vendor than what I was currently dealing with for HVAC repair. AC not working in July! They were able to place a part order right away and expect to get the unit fixed days, if not a week, earlier than who I was using. Competitive pricing, too.

We just bought our house in June, and the inspector said we could get a month or a couple of years from the water heater. Well after 3 weeks, our water heater turned more into a water tank so we called around and Parthenon was the first one with same day availability.

I'm so happy it worked out like that. Our technician, Mark, was amazing! Very nice and very knowledgeable. And his awesome Boston accent made me feel like I was on my own episode of This Old House!

Now of course I wish I didn't have to shell out money for a new water heater, but Parthenon, and especially Mark, made it as painless as possible. We definitely found our plumbing and HVAC company!

Timely response to repair a broken pipe. Efficient repair with minimal damage to drywall to access pipe and cleaned the site up well upon repair.

I was having an issue with my kitchen sink not being able to have running water from my faucet. It had started in the winter after a hard freeze, so I thought the pipes were just frozen but ater everything had thawed out I still didn't have any running water in the kitchen. I was referred to Parthenon Plumbing by someone at my church who highly recommended them. When I contacted them they were able to schedule an appointment quickly that fit into my busy schedule as well. On the day they were scheduled to come out they actually called and said they could make it earlier than originally planned if that worked for me. It did, so Buddy Escue came out and took a look at my faucets and pipes. He couldn't find any blockages but determined that the faucet itself needed replacing. While they didn't sell faucets, he said as soon as I had purchased one I liked, to call them back and he would come install it. When I called back they again scheduled an appointment quickly and Buddy came back and installed my kitchen sink faucet and everything works perfectly now. Before he left he asked if I needed anything else I told him I had also purchased a new fill valve for my toilet because the old one kept running. I had planned to replace that myself, but he said he could take care of it for me and in just a few minutes he had replaced that too. The price he had originally quoted me was very reasonable and there were no extra charges for the second trip or the toilet fill valve replacement. I would recommend Parthenon Plumbing to everyone!

Very expedient...no complaints. They do have billing issues however with billing again about 8 months after the first bill is paid. Company is very helpful to resolve although it is too soon to see if this is actually the case. If they do correct, I would recommend them although I need to see if this billing gets straightened out.

Parthenon Plumbing has been the best at rescuing bad water heater owners! The personnel are professional, prompt and keep you in the loop as the repairs progress. I have used them for years for plumbing issues, but decided to try them for replacing my old HVAC. They were on time (early actually) and professional, and walked me through every step of the process. Appreciate the extra time to explain things about the newer system. As they left, the crew pulled up to remove the trash and old unit seamlessly. Their prices were pretty comparable to other Nashville companies and they offer a yearly maintenance program that's pretty reasonable. Would recommend.

Fast and efficient service, good price!

Will never use again. Began working on my hot water heater before telling me what they were going to do and made it seem as if they were just diagnosing but then tried to charge me labor when they didn’t fix anything! Then they quoted me over $1500 to replace a hot water heater after they tore into my old one and left it disassembled. Hiller was the least expensive and upfront about the two types of repair that could be done, and btw, their quote to replace the hot water heater was under $1k! Parthenon Plumbing was the worst experience I’ve ever had. They seemed like they were trying to trick me into paying them for labor when all they did was diagnose (this labor cost they tried to trick me into paying was in addition to their diagnostic fee). Do NOT call these guys. Call HILLER.

Unfortunately can’t say I would recommend using this plumbing company. They gave me a band-aid fix and haven’t stood behind any of their work so far. I had to have American Plumbing coming out and re-do everything they did to the tune of hundreds and hundreds of additional dollars. While the second company took time to educate me on all my options to be sure I could make the best informed decision, Parthenon just took my money and ran. I would not recommend going with them.

The guys at Parthenon Plumbing are great. Always professional and show up when they have told me the will be at the house. We recently purchased an old house that was originally built in 1938. We knew we had some plumbing issues ahead of us, but didn't really know the extent of the challenges we would face until we moved in. Each staff member from Parthenon Plumbing that came to repair the many problems we had (and there were many) was unfailingly polite, professional, and a true asset to the company. Particular attention must be given to Bruce Swift, whose positive attitude and adept experience kept us going through some rocky times (including a gas leak that left one employee injured and us without hot water for eight days). I would recommend Parthenon Plumbing without reservation to anyone who is in need of your services. We couldn't have begun to make this cranky old house our home without your dedicated staff.

Felix did a fantastic job, working quickly and cleanly to tackle a few small tasks! He was respectful of my safety and also made sure that my old dog didn't run out when he was entering and exiting the building. I'll definitely use Parthenon again the next time I need their help.

I find to be exorbitant. Most cartridges cost $40.00 or LESS, should be a 20 minute job

I just want to say what a great experience I've had this week with the good folks at Parthenon Plumbing. After my initial call one afternoon, a tech was out the next morning. Turns out the tank was too far gone to save, and Parthenon sent two techs out the next morning and did the replacement. All three techs were VERY knowledgeable, friendly, competent, and, didn't try to up-sell me on anything. And they credited me with the first tech's visit (which was more than an hours worth of diagnosis and tightening of a loose fitting). Also, the office staff have been very cordial and helpful, returning emails and calls in a very timely manner. Five stars aren't enough! Great job, Parthenon!

Bought my house 5 1/2 years ago, and the two downstairs toilets have always stopped up very easily. This time I could not get things cleared, and in the process of plunging, I started to have a leak under one toilet. Neither toilet would flush. I called Parthenon, they were out almost immediately, fixed the stoppage, put new wax rings under both toilets for me, and made sure everything was working properly. The young man was very professional, and very conscientious. Cleaned up after himself, and was very pleasant.

Very happy with the very appropriate diagnosis and repair done to a vanity sink drain. Technician recommended and made practical cleaning and repairs. No extra flim-flam - just a job done right.

Alerted me to when the plumber was coming by text and phone call. Plumber was very nice and job done quickly.

Very friendly individual - who helped come out and access our plumbing needs - their were very timely with getting us an estimate.

I had a terrible experience with Parthenon last year, which was the result of them misdiagnosing an issue in my HVAC unit. After several service appointments and my AC going out twice in the heat of the summer, they figured out my unit, that Parthenon installed years ago, was missing a piston. It cost me over $1000 in parts, labor, and inflated electric bills and tens of hours of missed work to be at my house while the repairs were going on over a period of about 6 months. On top of all this, the operations manager, Rick, was so cruel and rude to me and my father on the phone when we called. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

When the missing piston was blamed on the manufacturer I asked for Parthenon to reach out to the manufacturer to try to find a way to reimburse me for my trouble and expenses. I was told I had to write a letter and MAIL it to Parthenon to request this. So I did and no one responded for months. I wrote a second letter and received a response that they were working on it, but I have not heard anything back since May. I will be sending my business somewhere else moving forward.

I attempted to hire this company back in July for water heater replacement, however, after their technicians missed TWO scheduled appointments where I had to take off work Melody (the receptionists) simply said I needed to call someone else. Waste of a weeks time and money and horrible service.

Not sure what happened with this company, I used them about 3 years ago to install my new HVAC which they had the best price in town.
I called them again to install a new water heater, was quoted 500 dollars more than several local competitors , the person even told me to take my old tank he would charge me an extra 100 when I told him I was returning customer to get a better rate. I will never use this company again and let everyone in my condo know as well.

They got out and were straight forward about the problem and the solution. They did great work!

I can't thank Parthenon Heating & Cooling enough! I woke up to water in my bathroom. I had to turn the water off throughout the house. I called Parthenon for an emergency and I was met with a warm, concerned voice on the other end of the phone. She told me she would check on availability and called me right back. The two gentlemen came out within a few hours and immediately located the problem and repaired it professionally and efficiently. They were very considerate of the house and took precautions due to Covid. I couldn't ask for a better experience! Thank you!

I called Parthenon Plumbing to evaluate our tankless water heater that had stopped working. The technican reset the water heater by unplugging it and plugging it back in, the same thing I had done prior to calling Parthenon. He proceeded to tell us that I needed to replace the water heater without telling us why it was broken. The biggest issue I have was they charged me $208 for being at my house for 10 minutes and trying to sell me on a replacement. When I called to ask them if the charge was correct, the receptionist said, yeah, I see they were only at your house a few minutes, I'll talk to a manager and see if we can give you a discount. Three days later the manager call me and says they charge everyone a 1 hour minimum. I didn't agree to pay a 1 hour minimum, nor was it mentioned when I set up the appointment. The manager told me that ALL the plumbing companies have a 1 hour minimum and specifically mentioned a competitor. I let him know that was not true because I had already called that specific competitor and had them come to my house - they did not charge me a minimum. In addition, the competitor was actually able to fix the tankless waterheater without replacing. In conclusion, I would not trust Parthanon Plumbing....they are used car salesmen of Nashville plumbing.

The two gentlemen who showed up were professional, courteous, and almost installed our dishwasher wonderfully. They did fail to attach the dishwasher to the counter, which was no big deal as I was able to do so myself. I will say that the price estimated on the phone was much less than what the price ended up being...because there were two plumbers, which was not clarified to me in the cost estimate provided. Other than that, so far so good! thanks
