I called this company because they were local. They were going to work me in. Jeremy and Richatd showed up around 4:30 pm
They looked at the plumbing issues inside and then went into the crawl space. They then said their manager would come out so they stood behind their truck for approximately 30 minutes. The manager, Dennis, stayed at my house until 8 selling me on new duct work, etc . At no point did I get a quote for the plumbing issue. In fact, Jeremy said Richatd had to drop him off at his truck and then Richsrd would be back. Richard never came back because it was apparently all dependent on if I agreed on the duct work. What a piss poor business model. All I wanted was a showe . However, it was after 8:30 when Steve showed up and after 11,:00 when Steve left AND Steve has to come back tomorrow. Too late to scrub shower and take shower sincec I was drained and no energy to clean- plus Steve said not to run/flush water too much. Word to this company if I call for plumbing issues , then I want plumbing issues addresse . Both departments claimed they did not know what the other departments did but they both knew of the referral program and I was their victim. If you know a plumber call a plumber. this suggestion could have saved me from a drawn out and unsuccessful day. Glad others could rate highe . Just was not my experience. 8/3/19 UPDATE: The General Manager contacted me and was extremely apologetic and went above and beyond to right the wrong. I was very impressed Thank you Jeremy!

Vince came as our hot water heater was giving off a bad smell and water was in the pan. He was prompt, professional and so kind and not pushy in any way. He educated us on what steps needed to take place. Dealing with Vince at Pioneer was a 5 star experience. We look forward to having him back to inspect things once tank is replaced. I have been using this company for several years now and have already had a great experience. Everyone that has ever come to my house has been polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. Most recently they sent Jared out who volunteered to come after hours since he lives right down the street. It turned out they were unable to fix the problem but gave me some great suggestions. I don't plan on finding another plumber.

Chris Moore was polite and responsive to any question I had concerning the maintenance of my system. He made pictures of the unit and explained things that might create a problem later on and is sending a supervisor to explain and give quotes of things that I would like to have done. Being a club member ensures that I can call and have this problems correctly whenever needed.

I am retracting my previous review. After talking to Surfing Plumbers I am going to wait and see before I review them again. I did it in haste and under stress but I am hoping for better results.

Kind of update here: nobody called me today. Yesterday talked to 4 people in call center they promised to call back ASAP. I guess ASAP hasn’t come yet.

‘The worst service ever!!!! I highly recommend Not to use their services ever. Had two units installed about a year and a half ago. The one for the main floor failed to work from the very beginning, they forgot to attach a pipe! They came and fixed. But this year started having issues it’s been two weeks they keep coming every other day and say ‘ you probably have a leak’ , ‘ oh, you must have a leak here’, ‘you have a leak here, we should check it!’ The fourth group of technicians came today and said ‘ you have a leak here, I found a spot but I don’t have tools to fix it. Next week smb will come and fix’. The top cream of this story the second unit was never wired properly and all those teams coming said the cables were the problem and they had to be fixed. Today’s technician Robert that came to fix both issues didn’t have his hammer drill to do that!!!!! My husband offered him his tools, the technician refused he wanted his only.
Am I being picky????? I keep staying home for weeks as for now, hoping they would come and fix. I might be too optimistic thinking it could still happen

Kylie explained everything that he did during my electrical inspection. He explained everything he was checking and any problem he saw during the inspection. He even answered my neighbors questions while he was at our house. Thank you Pioneer and Kylie for making sure our house is safe.

Chris B, and Jackson M, replaced all of our air ducts, and treated our crawlspace for mold. They came out a day early and were pretty quiet considering how much work they had. I have a 7 year old in virtual school, and a two year old and these guys didn't disrupt a thing under there. These guys were also very patient with my kids screaming down the vents at them! I would absolutely recommend The Surfin' Plumbers for any hvac services you may need!

Called Surfin for condenser in external A/C unit of my home. Engineer came and replaced the part. New part was just connected electric wires, he got a phone call from dispatch. He picked up his tools and left my home, saying I will be back in 2 hours, you can go ahead and turn on the A/C. Condenser was dangling inside the unit and external unit top was open. He left and never came back. Turns out, he was re-roughed to bigger job. Called call center which is in FL, and don't know anything about Nashville. Assigned another engineer next day morning. Next day morning call center called me and he was assigned to another job (bigger revenue job). I cancelled Surfin and found another A/C person. He came and fixed everything in 15 minutes and tested the unit before leaving. He said condensers can catch fire, if it is not fixed firm on the unit. Electric charge can turn the unit and catch fire! Surfin Plumber asks for pre-pay (show up charge) before engineer shows up. It took me 3 weeks to get the money back. Slow call center in FL. In summary, bad engineer (causing danger), slow call center, betray customer by sending engineer for bigger job in the middle of customer service. Good bye Surfin.

New Water Main- They came out quickly which is what we needed and replaced the water main. The disclosure was definitely not as described- We were told they would do their best to avoid the sprinklers. Not only did they chew them all up with tractor, the main unit was ruined. We were then told by Surfin' Plumbers it is not a big deal, probably only $200 or $300 to fix it. Right.......We had to then spend $5k to redo the sprinklers after they finished.
We were then told to call as soon as the sprinkler job was completed and they would come right out. They didn't come out til the next day after a thunderstorm and major rainfall causing more of a mess. A large decorator type rock was buried in the hole and covered over. Needless to say it was a headache and frustrating. Assuming for a small job they would be fine but I would not trust a thing Robbie says.

Jared came out and diagnosed the original problem within minutes plus he looked at another leak that had been found and diagnosed that quickly as well. He was incredibly helpful, professional and provided the best/cheapest repair solution rather than trying to run up a bill for parts & labor that would have been unnecessary. I will definitely use Surfin’ Plumbers in the future.

Had old pipes that broke and were referred to Surfin Plumbers. Jared came out and was very helpful. He did a great job of explaining everything and showing us multiple options. Would suggest him to anyone.

We had Surfin Plumbers out to our home to perform an annual water heater inspection. During inspection, Justin, our technician, noticed and informed me of corrosion to the anode rod. He was very thorough in discussing the purpose of the anode rod and potential issues once the rod goes bad. He answered all of my questions, and I was confident in the decision to replace the rod. He was super professional and very friendly at the same time. I highly recommend this technician & hope to have him back again next year!

Wow, just had them over to estimate installing a gas line. We had planned to install a gas range. The guy was nice, They said when we made the app that someone would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. That did not happen. Now the kicker. We have gas in the house it runs through the basement and its completely exposed. The gas line only needed to run 20 feet for the range. Their estimate was $850. We also wanted a hook-up for a fireplace when we finished the basement, total length would be 5 feet and a straight run The estimate $800. Total for both hook ups and runs $1650 that comes to $64 per linear foot. If you look up cost estimates from experts it should be between 15-25 per linear foot including materials and labor. This is the USA range. My wife was the one at home I guess they think we are both idiots. Avoid this company anyone who could with a straight face provide that sort of estimate then there is no telling what else they are capable of.

I recently had Tab and Tom come to my house to install a new toilet and repair the flanges so the toilet would be secure on the floor. In addition, they installed two grab bars in the commode room and in the shower so when my husband comes home from the hospital he would be safe using the commode and taking a shower. These two gentlemen went above and beyond what they first came to my house to repair. I did not have the grab bars so Tom measured the area , called Tab, and he picked up the grab bars at Lowe’s since he was going there to purchase parts for the initial job. What a relief it was to me to not have to worry about getting the grab bars installed. The new toilet is wonderful as well!! I am a club member and am very happy with the service I receive from The Surfin’ Plumbers. Thank you!!

A concrete slab foundation is great until there is an issue with the plumbing inside that concrete! Thank goodness for Pioneer's David Elkin. There was water coming from the bottom of the slab running onto my garage floor. David found the issue, explained everything that would need to take place to solve the problem and sat patiently while I tried to digest what the solution was going to be and shed a few tears. This was not going to be an easy fix. It would require cutting and jack-hammering the concrete floor inside a bedroom to get to the water line coming into the house for the piping distribution throughout the house, making the repair and replacing the concrete. Sure enough, the leaking pipe was exactly where he said it would be. He went above and beyond, by not only replacing the leaking joint and pvc pipe with the newer better pvc piping materials but also replaced the other distribution lines with the new pvc piping materials so I won't have this issue again with those lines. Now that is service and value, not just taking care of the immediate problems but also looking to prevent any likewise future issues for the customer. I would definitely recommend David Elkin and Pioneer Plumbing to anyone in need of a great plumbing technician.

I recently received a call from pioneer regarding my service contract that includes a plumbing inspection. We set up an appointment. The Appointment setter was incredibly nice and efficient. Also she was very knowledgeable and helpful with all my questions. Vincent was the plumbing technician that came, And right on time. Super knowledgeable and respectful of the property, Even put up with my big goofy dogs. Showed me his concerns regarding the house. Worked on a three option proposal. Absolutely no pressure,or leaving you with a sense of urgency or doom. Leaving my wife and I time to talk it over. They use 21st century technology to communicate, accept offers. Sign contracts. Pay bill ect. Fantastic,friendly, stay in communication. Highly qualified personnel.

Iv have had bad business With Surfin Plumbers they really haven’t fixed what they should’ve for 17,000.00. I’m very disappointed with this company.but Rob and the guy that came out today was great.

He cleared the blockage and installed a new water heater same day even staying as late as it took to get it done, so we wouldn’t be without hot water. One guy will tell you one thing another guy comes and tells another story. Then guys installing comes and has another story what they suppose to do. All 3 times no one says they will do what was agreed to. Then guys that was to do job wouldn't work and job would not be finished when we were told.

If you're having plumbing issues with your house I hope you're lucky enough to have their lead plumber, Richard, on the job. Richard went above and beyond to fix plumbing in our house that was originally installed incorrectly by the builder. Richard is extremely knowledgeable about his craft and took the time to show and explain how he was going to fix the problem. Overall good experience and a relatively complicated re-plumb was tackled with professionalism and competence.

Vince was awesome! Very professional and down to earth about our water heater needs. Highly recommend!

Thomas Grammer did an excellent electrical inspection on my home to ensure that my property was free of electrical hazards. He explained in detail from installation to upgrades. He informed me about how to deal with power surges, insufficient voltage, dead outlets, etc. and its solution for electrical safety. He provided me with upfront pricing for all electric repairs or installation. You could trust him to do the job right!

I called multiple places to try and get someone out here to change my sink. The surfing plumbers came out very quickly and gave me a very great price, lower then other places I called. My biggest surprise was the courtesy and professionalism that Jared did for us. He was on time and even brought up our garbage can. He went way above and beyond what I could have expected. Outstanding work. I would highly recommend them.

Robert with the Surfin' Plumbers team did a great job, great customer service and was efficient to fix issues. Had a couple of less than stellar experiences with a previous plumber, but great service from Robert.

when you call pioneer Plumbers they have this really cool message that says they will put you through to one of their amazing associates. so when i was put through to helpful lovely person, i asked them to send an amazing associate to help out with our crapped-out shower mixer tap... they sent Vince - I am not going to put his last name here, but he was awesome and got it fixed in a jiffy. I do miss the surf boards, although they might put gigantic davey crocket hats on their trucks in future, who knows? outstanding service from knowledgeable people, isn't that always the goal. Pioneer has them in spades...well done indeed and nice job, thank you Vince!!!

I called this place to do a tuneup of my hvac unit in a house I just bought. They told me it needed to be replaced so 5 grand later I had a new unit. Less than a year later, I've had to call them out 8 times to service the unit because it keeps stopping working. I called them out again because now the a.c. isn't working and the appt window has passed with no one showing up or calling me or anything. It's two hours passed the time they said they would be here and I can't get anyone out here

These people are unreliable and don't do good work. Find help somewhere else

During our routine visits and follow-up visits for a thermostat installation, Randy Harbo with Pioneer was grade A! If he represents how every technician is for the company, I see Pioneer having a very long and successful future!

We had an issue with a leak in the bathtub. Surfin' Plumbers came out and found a major issue with the tub drain leaking, causing major damage to the sub flooring. They were able to give us several options.
After consideration we chose to update the bath. They installed a new tub, new plumbing and new fixtures. The entire job was done quickly and professionally. We will definitely use them again.

Had a new 5 ton unit installed, They run the wires under the heat exhaust, Run the wiring around the gas line, left the old union on the gas pipe, and the shroud that closes off the unit is not ever attached to the unit. Called and they said they were going to send someone out to correct the problem, they have canceled 5 times , last appointment they never showed and to this day have not even called. It time to laser up I think. Stay away!!!!

The service man was very nice and knew what he was doing. He was very good at his job knew what he was doing. I was very pleased with him very friendly to us.i would recommend this company to anyone !

It has been several months since my last review. In that time, this company finally replaced the entire unit. Once I showed Robbie that it was still under warranty, he was then very responsive and got the job done. They generally do good work and the workers are very polite and work well. It is unfortunate that it took so much of my time to get them to honor the warranty but I am encouraged that they responded quickly and appropriately when presented with the facts.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! My first contact was with Dennis, who was responsive and professional. He has since left this company. I have given them more than $25,000 in business. Most recently, I had a heat exchange system installed in my garage costing more than $8000. It failed after 16 months, still under warranty. A service tech determined that the circuit board shorted out. It took more than 2 weeks to install the replacement. This one promptly shorted out. It was then determined than the condenser was grounded out and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer refused to honor the warranty. Robbie, the customer service manager then tried to get me to pay for the labor, claiming that the this unit was past the 2 year warranty. After some discussion and proving it was still warranted, the service manager, Leslie, told me that parts would be ordered and installed at no charge. She promised to call me back to arrange an install time. It has been over 3 weeks and she will not accept my phone calls and has not called back. Unfortunately, my only recourse is through the legal channels and small claims court. This is a terrible way to conduct business. There are many complaints listed on the internet with the BBB having investigated them for unprofessional business practices. Steer clear of this company. There are too many reputable plumbing contractors in the area from which to choose.

Jordan was amazing very professional, personable & did a great job. I will ask for him if I need any further plumping jobs. Highly recommend him if you need service.

Our HVAC went out overnight heading into the hottest days of the year so far. I called the next AM and was greeted by Kona Kathy. She was pleasant and showed empathy for our issue. I advised although it's an inconvenience at least we weren't dealing with the black plague! She indicated someone would be out before noon. I received a call around 10:15a that they were on their way. Individuals showed up. I feel terrible since I can't remember the woman's name but I do recall Chris Moore. A bit moore (see what I did there) on him in a moment. They quickly diagnosed the problem and had us up and running again in less than 30 minutes. They also, without my direction, completed a through examination of the rest of the unit. Flash forward to 4 hours later. Our inside temp was not dropping very quickly, only about 2 degrees from when they completed the work. I figured this was due to the unit attempting to play catch up from failing the night before but was a bit concerned. I placed a quick call back to the office and the lady indicated someone would be in touch. Not 5 minutes later I receive a call from woman that showed up with Chris indicating he would be calling me. Not a minute later Chris called and explained my thought...the unit was doing its job and trying to catch up from being off for so long. He gave me his direct cell so I could keep him posted. I advised I would let him know in the next morning if anything was wrong. Later that night he messaged to see how the unit was doing. Keep in mind I did not ask for this as he was expecting me to reach out in the AM. Talk about compassion! I advised him at that time it looked all was in order but I would still reach out to update him in the AM. I completely forgot to do so and later that next day Chris messages me to see if the unit was still operation correctly! This goes above and beyond what I expected. They came and did their job, that was where my expectation ended. Chris and the crew cared enough to be sure and follow up numerous times after repairs. This is so extremely rare in business these days. They truly made me feel respected, cared for and secure in the work and valued as a customer but more important as a human. I will continue to use them for all my plumbing and HVAC needs as long as I live in this area. Thanks again for the job well done and care provided Surfin' Plumbers. You guys rock and are as cool as the other side of the pillow!!

After having extensive work done in my crawl space I also had to have a new sump pump put in. This was all done in Oct-Dec of 2019. However, I have just learned that the sump pump is not working as it was not hooked up to electricity. Today, 4/20/20 two new employees were called to come and check some work from the Oct. , 2019 job and found that part of my duct work had not been tightened appropriately, and was blowing air into the crawl space and not through the duct. They also found that the new sump pump was not even draining as it had not been hooked up to electricity. Chris B. discovered the problem with the duct work and will come back to take care of it as it should have been done to begin with.
Joe Silva came out after being notified by Chris that something was amiss with the sump pump. Joe discovered that the reason it wasn't working is because there are no electrical outlets to hook the sump pump up to. This was unbeknownst to me and the previous person who placed the sump pump did not tell me of the situation and just left it . This was very disconcerting to me as I am in debt from this situation to the tune of 23,000 dollars. Chris and Joe both have been extremely regretful that the previous employees of this job left such poor results and failed to apprise me of the situation. They both have assured me that the situation will be taken care of. They have been very thorough and I appreciated very much the time they both took in assessing the problems. I would definitely refer them to others who may have the sort of problems I had. They know their business. Thanks guys, and I will be calling you in the future should I need any similar work done. Kudos to both of you!!!

DO NOT CALL THEM! They just changed my kitchen faucet and they charge me $250.00dlls they over charge me!

We had an issue installing a new light fixture in my office due to it being on a 3 way switch and the wire set up. Our tech Kyle T. was able to get the job done at a good price especially for the amount of work he ended up having to do. He was easy to talk to and was knowledgeable. I will definitely be using this company again due to Kyle's awesome service!

Not a good situation, I hired them for addition , they pull the permit didn’t finish the job and it was leaking real bad so we had to repair because it’s fail the inspection, called several times no response.

You have a plumbing problem they will surf on over hot or cold fix you up quickly, just give them a call !

These guys are awesome! Rick and Jackson came by to put a shut off valve on our gas fireplace and were in and out within 30 minutes. They were super friendly and helpful, even loved on our pups! They showed me how to use the fireplace and made sure I was satisfied with everything before they left. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

We have been “Kahuna Club” Members with Surfin’ Plumbers for a couple of years now and they always treat us right! Their office staff is friendly and helpful and every technician and/or plumber we have had is both nice and professional. They always provide honest info and never push expensive upgrades. Today, David came out and installed an expansion tank to our water heater with no fuss. He was very professional, insightful, and personable while completing the job in a timely fashion. I can speak highly of both David and Joe!

Kyle and Jeremiah came in to install new electrical outlets, surge protector, and a water descaler. They we’re both friendly, highly professional, and explained each step well enough where I trusted their expertise. I know they did their best to avoid any issues but there was a minor misstep when installing the electrical. Ceiling damage, but they both were highly apologetic, made a patch, and immediately called in and scheduled another company to fix the issue. Overall a positive experience with both of them.

I was so worried about being taken advantage of because I've had so many repairs done lately and I know maintenance companies compete to be the most urgent repair, itemizing like crazy and taking up an hour of my time justifying the cost with explanations about how much work my house needs. The air unit was a grave fear because it's summer and it's an older unit. The tech was friendly, professional, quick, and no fuss. She offered a maintenance membership but was not at all pushy. I'm so grateful for the shining report and would trust the same company if the report isn't as good next year.

David was great. He took his timne sat down and told me what needs to be replaced.

First, let me say that this is not a review of their workmanship, because we never got that far. Also, everyone that I dealt with was professional and friendly and they even came out and gave me a free quote for the plumbing repairs that I needed to have done. I can certainly appreciate that.

But now for the bad......I'm no plumber, but I do have a decent understanding of it, so we were able to come to a solid agreement on exactly what needed done. It also means that I have a pretty good idea about how long it would likely take. I estimated that if I were to complete this job myself, it would take me 3 hours max, so I figured a plumber could most likely do it in 2 hrs or less. I estimated that there was approximately $50 in materials. I would have happily paid for 2 hours of their time plus any materials. Instead, I received a quote for just shy of $2,500 which included a pretty hefty discount for joining their yearly maintenance plan. I was told it was a 7 or 8 hour job. Now, I'm no plumber, but I understand simple math. Even if the materials cost $100 which is figuring high, and it were to take them a full 8 hrs to complete the job, that's approximately $300/hr. I don't keep up with local plumbers hourly rates, but $300/hr was more than I personally was willing to pay.

But here's the kicker......I decided to just take the day off and do the work myself. It took me 1 hour and 26 minutes, excluding the time it took me to run to the store for the parts. That took approximately a half hour and cost roughly $46 dollars for the needed materials. So, assuming it would take them the same amount of time and expense, that translates to about $1,200/hr.

Like I said earlier, this isn't a review of the quality of their work. I'm sure they do professional work. But, if you are not knowledgeable, I would strongly suggest getting multiple quotes before entering into any type of agreement with this company. The math simply did not add up for me.

Bruce has been so great to work with at the Hendersonville location. He has redone all our pipes in our home and I have no doubt we will ever have to redo it again. Thanks Bruce for all your hard work (in the cold and rain). We appreciate it so much!

Seth Clayton was the best. Had multiple items to take care of at the house from installing a new toilet to repairing a leaky faucet out back. Not only did he work around our schedule and make a return visit to complete repairs, but he took time to educate us on what he was doing and actions we could take on our own to save us money and hassle. Even made a minor tweak to the kitchen faucet while he was here, no extra charge! Worth signing up for their club membership.

They were very professional and took care of my leaking water heater, and it didn’t break my pocket! Highly recommend.

Jared went beyond the call of duty and answered our end of the day emergency to clear our drain and fix our kitchen sink while going in and out of the rain without a complaint, and with a cheerful disposition. He was very personable, efficient and competent. We highly recommend him and and the Surf’in Plumbers.

Scheduled an appointment for today sometime between the hours of 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. They said they were going to send me a text message when they are 30 minutes out. 12:00 comes and goes. I try to call the office to check in, and no one answers. They call me at 2:30 PM and try to reschedule for Monday saying that they don't have enough technicians to make it to us. I would gamble that they knew that this morning. It would've been immensely helpful if they could cancel in a timely manner so that we could start looking for other arrangements. Our heat is out in sub-zero temperatures, and we sat waiting on someone who was never coming.

Vince was awesome. He was knowledgeable of what he was doing and had our toilet leak fixed in no time. We will definitely use this company again for our plumbing needs.

I just can't say enough positive things about the service I received from Surfin Plumbers. I reached out to Tom, the manager, to get an estimate for the installation of an all in one washer/dryer combo, which was a gift from my daughter. I wanted to relocate my laundry from the basement to the main floor due to my physical limitations. Tom came the same day I called, gave me an estimate of what needed to be done with plumbing and electrical. As soon as the unit was delivered to my home, he came out the next day to familiarize himself with the specific unit and determine what exactly needed to be done. Tom assigned the job to Joe who came the same day and he did an excellent job! He was not only neat, skilled and efficient, but very kind and helpful to answer my questions. Tom came by later to check on the job and make sure everything was going smoothly since this was the first time they had installed an all in one unit. I felt comfortable in the quality of work and also valued as a customer. Kudos to Surfin Plumbers!!

My water heater was leaking a tiny bit of water/rust and I called Surfing Plumbers. Thomas came out and took the old water heater out & replaced it with a new one. He was very professional, moved quickly, and didn't seem to mind all my questions. I was very pleased with the service and grateful he had my water heater installed in no time. Today I had my annual inspection that is a part of my club membership. I was served by Jared and the Service Manager, Jeremy. They thoroughly explained what they were going to do and showed me pictures of everything they checked. I may need to move and replace my hot water heater in the near future and they explained to me all the options, the benefits of each, and the cost of each option. The entire time they were there I felt that I was in reliable, capable, and friendly hands. I have been a customer for quite some time and plan to remain one!

Ron Trevor represented the company well. He was very reliable and explained everything.

I highly recommend Surfin' Plumbers. It was an easy process from start to finish. Chris was very professional and kind. He inspected our Air conditioner from top to bottom. Then helped us decide on a solution that not only fits our needs, but our budget. We truly feel like we got the best bang for our buck. Also, he got me on the Club Kahuna for regular scheduled maintenance, so I don't have these problem again. However I will say, he did promise me a picture of him acting like he was surfing on the surfboard on top of his truck. He said he would send me one once he got back to the shop. Jeremiah Olsen came and installed custom lighting in our garage, as well as changed out all of the switches in our old breaker box. He was kind, showed up on time, communicated well, worked fast and efficient, and was thorough. A great experience so far with this company since they changed to Pioneer. We had to have our HVAC system replaced on what seemed like the hottest day of the summer this year. Surfin’ Plummers was wonderful as they worked to help us through those couple of days without cool air. I hope that I am recognizing all of the people who helped out and I sincerely apologize if I have forgotten anyone. Chris, Dennis, Robbie, Rick, Max, and Rob all worked together to install temporary window units and bring fans just so we would be cooler in the summer heat and humidity. The installation of our new permanent unit was fast and efficient. Already, we have seen a $200 drop in our monthly electric bill. I had no idea our old unit was sucking that much money. I also enjoy talking to the office staff at Surfin’ Plumbers. Cowabunga Kristy (Kristina?) and Gnarly Christine are always so kind and understanding. The are great at getting people out to our house. No matter the job, big or small, they always act like we are a priority. I appreciate that. We will continue to use Surfin’ Plumbers for all of our plumbing and HVAC needs. Thanks y’all!

There is so much to say that I could write a short story here. I had a sewage flood in the lower level of my home which I rent out as an Airbnb. Vince and Robbie were quick to get to my home to check it out. It turned out to be a bigger issue than I expected, but they both they made me feel well taken care of in what has been a stressful situation.
I was out of town when the majority of the work was done. Although, I know Kayemen, David and the rest of the team were out there working long hours to ensure I got home to working sewage lines.
After the job was complete, we found a separate flood that was caused by a loose Valve. The team was quick to take responsibility and has since gone above and beyond to make it right.
Great customer service from start to finish. If I have any plumbing issues in the future (I hope not), I know who to call. Thanks!!

I've been with these guys for 2 years. Regular check-ups on my heat & air systems from courteous and knowledgeable techs. Plenty of notice & follow-up calls. They installed my system after I had 3 years bad luck from a previous company. No trouble from this system or check-ups!

Great company and great value!

We had Jeremy and Richard come out for an estimate for a new HVAC unit. They gave us and amount and we discussed it and decided ti have the unit installed. We were told that there were plumbing issues which was supposed to have been included in the original price. The original plumber that came here was supposed to have fixed EVERYTHING. His name was Adam he left leaking pipes, he was supposed to have put down a moisture barrier. He also did not advise that there were supposedly more leaking pipes. After the new duct work was installed another employee went under the house and found the leaking pipes and the moisture barrier waded up. At this point we are told we will need to pay an additional $3500.00 and they can't do the work for over a week. Adam also came in the house to fix the kitchen sink, he did not fix it. He wound up breaking the kitchen sink and the faucet at this point was loose. We were not at home when he came in to fix the sink we were not at home, when we came in the 2 HVAC techs had come in to go up in the attic to check the duct work and found the kitchen floor full of water, we have hard wood in the kitchen which is now ruined. They were also paid to put new duct work through out and said they could not get it in the attic to the back part of the house. We had a plumber who is a family friend who has been a plumber 40 plus years and he said he would not even attempt a job such as this. He advised the duct work really needed to come out, the plumbing be repaired and then new duct work put in. There is an issue with the duct work as you can feel cold air coming out from under the house and the duct work has condensation on it. We feel helpless at this point and have doubts that the work will be corrected as promised. They need to find someway to get the duct work in the attic installed as this was part of the original bid on the new system which was over$13000.00.

I would like to compliment Richard he is an ASSET to this business. He is the one who found the horrible mess that Adam made. Steve who came with Richard is also great. I hope they appreciate those two.

Robert came and looked at the kitchen floor and he said he can see that it is now warped. I was told by Jeremy that once all the plumbing is fixed and it has time to dry out that they will be out to check out the issue's with the HVAC and repair the floor. We are waiting to see if this happens. We are not going to hold out breath.

Tom at Surfin' Plumbers is our go to guy subject matter expert. Bought a 73 year old flipped house that was a total train wreck. Surfing Plumbers did a major overhaul. The foundation guy who saw the job afterward said it was some of the nicest work he's seen. On a tight budget, we can't afford mistakes. This IS our plumbing company on speed dial.

My AC went out, so I called Surfin Plumbers. Jeremy came out to my house promptly, investigated the issue, and explained it to me thoroughly in plain English. He discussed all my options, gave his professional advice, and moved forward with the option I chose immediately after I let him know my decision.

I called last week with what I thought was an electrical problem with my cooktop. Thankfully, that was not the case. However, figuring out why my backyard lights were not working turned out to be the ultimate scavenger hunt. Worst company ever. Not one person at this place knows how to dial a phone. Never once got them to call me on their own. I had to call them every time. i have now taken four different days off work for them to come work on my HVAC and they were a no show. And guess what, no phone call. Filed complaint with BBB and am pursuing legal action. Run away fast!

My project was a complete replacement of the hvac and duct work. I had a water line break from the cold temperatures. Kayemen came out on time, located the leak and talked me through different options for repairing and solving future issues.

Hoping that future work goes as planned… but so far I’m very happy with the company. Honestly, with all the freezing temps in Nashville right now, I’m impressed they could get someone out so fast to help me.

Let me begin by saying as a first time homebuyer you pray and hope for a technician to by patient, honest, and considerate to your family needs ; but you expect the worst unfortunately. My experience with The Surfin Plumbers and more specifically their Technician Rob Hardy was anything but that. He was able to exceed my expectations and beyond. It started with a friendly dispatcher when I made the initial call; she was able to help me choose a time that best fit my situation fighting Nashville traffic. Rob was on time, patient and completed the walkthrough not once but twice; for me and then for me and my wife, so if there were any additional questions or concerns he could clear it up than as he wanted to make sure we had a full and better understanding of our home and system. I am glad I called and have already told friends and family about their service. Good pricing but great service.

Buyers Beware. This company sold an elderly woman in springfield an over priced and inflated $20k package of services($3,000 alone to install a vapor barrier aka black plastic on the dirt floor under a crawl space of a very small home 1000 sq feet or less). The company quickly obtained financing for the job through a third party lender, which funds they took before the work was completed. They even left the home with a severe water leak.

Jared came out today to look at our water lines. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. He even helped bring in groceries. Would definitely recommend this company. Ask for Jared.

On Thursday, July 26 around 1:00 PM I called for an emergency plumber. The sewer line in my house had ruptured causing sewage to fall from the ceiling to my basement bedrooms. I was told the plumber would be out within the hour however the plumber didn’t show up for nearly 2 1/2 hours. While the plumber cleared the blockage for the night I was instructed that they would return the following morning to continue with repair. The following morning I was told around 8:30 AM that the plumber would be there within the hour. The plumber never showed. So I called back around 1:00 PM and was told that there was an emergency that was more pressing and that the plumber would be there shortly. Mind you that I paid nearly $3000 for this repair and that I had sewage in my sinks and tub‘s and yet there was another emergency that was more pressing. Around 5 o’clock that afternoon no one had yet to show up to my house I had to call back again to find out that the plumber was still on site at his previous job. The plumber showed up at my house around 7 o’clock Friday night to clear the blockage again but not do the repair. I was told that they would have to come back again third day to do the repair. Keep in mind that I paid $99 for the emergency dispatch fee $200 to dig up the sewer line and $2600 for the repair. And yet I never got one phone call saying that they were sorry that no one ever showed back up to my house on time as promised. I would not recommend anyone using this company for they sure did not care about my family, my house or the fact that I paid them nearly $3000 for this work. It is Monday the 30th and I still have not heard back from anyone at the company. Maybe next time I’ll use the plumber with the happy face because if you’re not happy there at least it’s free .

They scheduled an appointment 3 days from the day I called at 10 a.m. at 12:10 p.m. I got a call from a very nice lady in their office saying it would be another 1.5 hours before they could make it out to my house I cancelled the appointment and will use a company that can show up when they say they will.

Very professional. Always calls to let me know they on their way. Diagnoses and repairs any problem we have quickly and efficiently. Prices are in line with current trends. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Cleans up when finished, even wears booties! I have used them several times and will continue.

I am sharing my experience on behalf of the work that was done at my Mother's house. I have experienced plumbers in my family and I was very taken aback on the work that was done. There was a pipe outside going through the garage to the driveway that needed to be replaced which required cutting through the concrete, replacing the pipe, and refinishing the concrete. My Mother lives by herself, and was not told that there would be no protection of the cement dust to anything in the garage. The concrete was cut without putting up any plastic sheeting (which was totally possible), or even a warning to move things out, which resulted in EVERYTHING in the garage being covered with thick layers of cement dust including her car. NONE of this was cleaned up after the job was finished , leaving my 80 year old Mother to clean up the mess. The garage door needed to be repaired after they were done, which she also had to pay for, because they caused a jam in the automatic door. That being said, the concrete finishing was a ridiculously poor job and was not smoothed out properly. It is months later and we are still trying to clean up the cement dust everywhere. I called the company a total of 4 times asking someone to call me, and was promised at one phone call that they would send someone out. This was back in November and we are still waiting and have had no communication from them. Please think twice before you hire this company. They are unprofessional, have rotten customer service and poor quality.

Surfin Plumbers came out to install a recirculating pump on the hot water heater and run a direct line in crawl space from hot water heater to bathroom. They made a mess. The first pump they installed ran 24/7 and leaked 24/7, and was very loud. They came out again and installed one with a timer. This one doesn't run 24/7, but it leaks 24/7 as well. As seen in the pics, look at the shoddy work...water line nailed into the wall is coming loose. Water is leaking on top of the unit and in the drip pan. The pump's electric cord was zip tied to the hot water pipe! I'm not a professional, but I know that isn't safe! After calling the manufacturer of the pump, it turns out this is the wrong size pump for this house. $1500 for this! I don't want this company anywhere near my house again. Now, I have to find someone to fix this mess and the work done in the crawl space. I hope this helps someone else. Please learn from my mistake and find another company!

Andrew, Michael, and Robbie are amazing!!! My fiance and I had water leaking under our floor boards and we couldn't find where it was coming from. Robbie came out to assess the situation and had Andrew and Michael come out within a couple of days to get it fixed. They found out it was a hose for our washer that had started leaking. They fixed it and helped with the mold in the area. All three of them were super informative on the entire process and were extremely kind and professional. Surfin plumbers saved the day!! The day before a large family reunion at my house, my A/C seemed to bite the dust. That was exactly what I needed for an event we had been planning for over a year. So I did the normal routine and started calling from the top of the list of a/c companies, starting with my company that maintenances my system already. No one was available for that day. So I started trying to borrow portable AC units to get through the event, thinking I couldn’t get it fixed until the next week. But a friend suggested surfin plumbers from seeing one of their truck driving down the road. The same day Chris showed up, diagnosed my issue and found the poblem with my condenser and said he could have it fixed that same day. He also checked the rest of my system and found a couple issues my regular scheduled maintenance company has missed. Had it not been for Chris and the surfin plumbers my family reunion would have a lot hotter than expected. Thank Chris and the Surfin plumbers team.

We had a hot water issue and Jared was very helpful and did a thorough check throughout our home to determine the issue. Very intentive to check anything that we had concerns with and very friendly. We have used Surfin Plumbers for years now in Hendersonville Tn because they are trustworthy and only recommends things we need. I would recommend them to all in the area!

I’ve used Frog Heating & Air the last couple years and every visit was great with quick resolution. Now they merged with Pioneer Home Services and a brand new HVAC system they installed in December isn’t cooling. I called Wednesday to report the issue, they said someone would come Friday. Someone called Thursday at 4:45 saying they would be there at 5:45 but I had a commitment so couldn’t have them come. I call Friday and my whole service visit was cancelled so they scheduled for Monday. They come Monday morning and spend 30 minutes and say nothing is wrong. Now it’s over 80 degrees in the house and they haven’t returned a call in the last few hours. Maybe I should use another company to fix their work and charge them. Very bad experience not even resolved yet.

We Have had a difficult time with some of the old Surf’in Plumbers (SP) installers getting our new unit up and running. Rick, a new installer, showed up and had our heat pump up and running 100% in a couple of hours. He does excellent work and really helps you understand what the issue is and what steps he is going to take to remedy the problem. SP took full responsibility both as a company and the cost to fix the problems with the initial Install.
Good catch Surf’in plumbers, hang onto this guy! Rick and Jeremy are a great team to keep your home cool and the water running.

They flat out lied to us and the BBB after I filed a complaint and they refuse to compensate us for the fact that because of their screw up we were unable to live in our house for 140 days. Then and their insurance did nothing to financially alleviate the hardship they caused. We’ve lawyered up and are filing suit.

They flooded our house we had just put on the market causing us to have to take it off. Their insurance has been giving us the run around now for 4 months and Surfing Plumbers have washed their hands of the problem. DO NOT do business with these unqualified individuals.

1/25/2023, plumbing inspection preformed by David Elkin, pioneer plumbing, arrived during appt window , was friendly and preformed inspection informed me of 2 possible future problems,and solutions,

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I hate this because their techs have always been nice when coming to our home. We spent $20,000 (yep, you read that right TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS) with this company a year and a half ago. Well last week our heat went out. Totally fine it happens. The tech showed up quickly (woo hoo) only to tell us the part was back ordered for 2 months, here are some space heaters. I called Surfing Plumbers and begged them to do something - we have a 6 month old and it’s the middle of winter in a pandemic. They honestly did not care at all. Just told me to use the trusty space heaters and if I could find the part they would install it. Yep, if I could find the part. Luckily, I trusted my gut and called another company who came that night and fixed it in the dark. They were able to locate the part in 2 phone calls.

We called Surfing Plumbers to tell them this and requested to speak to someone that could explain to us what’s going on. We felt they should cover the cost of fixing the heater (what’s $300 when I just gave you $20,000?). But we can’t even get anyone to give us a call. It’s been almost 6 days now and have only spoken to the front desk who claims others are in “meetings”. We are totally reasonable people and honestly, just an apology would go a long way. Customer service is really a lost cause and I could never trust a company that would just leave us without heat in the middle of winter for 2 months. I hate it because we had such a good experience the first time, but please save yourself and go find a local company that wants to help people. It’s hard times and I’m happy we were able to help out a company that values their customers.

Michael Tienvieri did an excellent job and he was able to obtain the most perfect faucet! We have never had a problem with any of the techs that have serviced our home over the years! Michael deserves a week of lunches !

Update: June 23, 2002

After multiple different technicians came and said there was a problem with some sort of mother board and telling us it won't be here until sometime in August, Mr. Jeff (I think he is a warranty technician) has us with cold air now. He came two weeks ago and found that there was a leak. At that time he went ahead and put refrigerant in so we could at least get a few days of air conditioning. He also came back today, I requested he come himself, and did a full leak test, found multiple leaks and repaired them, refilled the refrigerant, and we now have really cold air again. I cannot thank him enough for being able to get the AC to work because it has been very hot outside and the tiny window unit I was using was not cutting it. Also, Jeff was very friendly, polite, and respectful and he took the time to explain things clearly when I came out to ask questions. If you're air conditioning isn't working well, get a hold of this business and ask for Jeff. He will get you squared away.

We have been having trouble with our air conditioner and heater for months. It was previously supposed to have been repaired but still didn't work. Craig came and took the time to really troubleshoot it and found the issue and spent a lot of time trying to track down parts that were needed. Craig was very professional and friendly and played fetch with my dog for a long time and that was super cool. 10/10 would recommend this company and specifically Craig to come and figure out what the problem is with your HVAC system.

Jeremiah responded to our service call to fix recurring electrical issues. He identified the problem and clearly communicated the issue and solve with my husband. We would highly recommend Jeremiah for electrical work. He was personable, dependable, professional & knowledgeable.

The technician gave me a detailed accounting of three different options to fix my furnace. He did a good job of repairing, replacing and updating my HVAC system.

In the past month we have had our Heating and Air units replaced, as well as our hot water tank. All of the guys were very professional and clean. Recently Jared had to come back out to service the leaking supply stop in our laundry room. The next available scheduling day Richard came out and replaced all of our water supply lines and stops. These clowns installed a hot water heater 3 years ago. Recently had them over for an annual inspection and magically, they discovered corroding outdated copper pipes connected to the hot water heater. Where was this information when the heater was first replaced? Quoted us $6000 to have the pipes replaced! They told us, “We need to check our notes to see if this was recommended when we installed the hot water heater.” It’s was never mentioned. This could have been prevented at the very beginning. They were also kind enough to offer us a water filtration system at $10,000.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I needed immediate service for a broken faucet that was running a large stream of water. This is all they needed to come out and try to upsell equipment that I did not ask for or need. Upon arrival the tech looked at my broken faucet ( I provided the new faucet) and my leaky tub faucet which only needed a $3.00 part. The tech tried to sell me $1500.00 of stuff I never asked for regarding my hot water heater and my air conditioner! I never gave him permission to look at either of those!!! I told him I would have to call someone else and he said she had to call his boss but he could give me a deal of $735.00 to fix both my kitchen and bathroom faucets. I paid because he turned my water off and said he could not turn it back on and I would be without water to my house until I decided to get it fixed. I reported this strong arm tactic to the BBB and the owner called on 9/7/17 to let me know he could refund a portion of my bill and he acted like he was doing me a favor. I accepted the refund and I thought he would send in good faith but it's now it's 9/26/17 and I have no refund. I recommend you keep looking for service because unless you like to be grossly overcharged for labor and services. This company is a JOKE!!!

I bought my house recently and the home inspector told me I had galvanized steel pipes coming from the street to the home. I’ve been dreading replacing the line. David stopped by to inspect all of my plumbing and informed me that I had copper pipes coming to the home and the old galvanized pipes just wasn’t removed (but was disconnected) when they upgraded the plumbing for the home. He was extremely knowledgeable and I will definitely be calling Pioneer for my next plumbing project!

Jared from Surfin Plumbers came out on short noticed and did a great job fixing our Water Heater leak.

My dad had knee surgery April 12, 2017. The main line in his yard gets small fine-like roots blocking it every 3-4 years or so. He called them to come out on May 13th to unblock it. He had already checked the 2 clean out openings (top and bottom of the hill).....so he knew what it was since it happened a few years ago. The guy came out promptly and my dad told him he just needed an auger to cut the roots and everything. The guy looked in the top cleanout drain and then sat in his truck for approximately 5 minutes, then got out and told my dad he needed all new lines which would run around $5,000. My dad told him, he had just had knee surgery and couldn't afford it, the guy told him they finance. My dad politely said no, then went to Lowes and rented an auger for less than $100 and ended up doing it himself. Luckily he didn't injure his knee during this irritated episode.

UPDATE: All they did was dig a bunch of holes in my yard. Never use this Company! They put 2 charges $1800 each on my cc (which doesn't show up at their parent office in Bradenton). Tanya reassured me this would be resolved. I had another company come out and fix my septic for $1900. They did it in 1 day. Surfin Plumbers quoted me 30k then 17k. I told them I don't think that's a fair price. They had my CC on file bc we signed up for the membership. They turned around & committed wire fraud & charged me without a detail invoice. The first day 6hrs of work & the second day 3hrs of work. They broke my fence & seeded & covered their sins with a bunch of hay. I would never pay for a job before it was done. They are a scam!! Do Not Use This Company! Buyer Beware. They aren't part of BBB. You are paying for their ridiculous surfin work vehicles.

Had an electrical inspection on Monday and based on the recommendation we had our breaker box reconditioned. Knowledgeable techs updated box so we shouldn’t have any electrical issues.

One of the best service experiences I’ve ever had in any industry. Met with Jeremiah on a Monday, he explained everything needed in my house very clearly and never made me feel like it was a “sales” thing. By Friday of the same week Jeremiah and Kyle came out and did a big job in one day, working into the night to make sure all was correct. Can’t recommend this company (and those gentlemen specifically) enough!

We recently had to have some work done with our duct work, vapor barrier, and our drains. Jared did a great job with the initial repair and assessment. Rob came out the next day to go over all of our options. Max and Jackson handled our ducts and barrier. I failed to get the names of our plumbers who handled all our drain work. However, the whole team of people were very professional and handled our troubles as if they were their own. Thank you all for making our home a better place to live.

We had a problem with our electrical fuse box tripping due to the new feature installed last year from the builder. Jeremiah was so very helpful in replacing our fuse with the more efficient less complicated fuse that won’t cause these constant problems we have had. He was very knowledgeable in explaining the problem and we are very thankful that he was so honest and helpful in fixing our problem. We would highly recommend them at Pioneer/ Jeremiah for any of your electrical needs.

Vince showed up and did an eval of the problem and set up a time and price to get the job. Good first step in getting this leaky water heater replaced.

I woke up one morning, it was cold and the furnace wasn’t working. Ugh. After I checked everything I could, I called Pioneer Plumbing Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. They had a man here that day. That technician was Randy Harbo. Being knowledgeable and skilled, Randy had it up and running in about fifteen minutes. He then spent time to explain what was wrong and if it continues to be a problem, he had taken pictures and knows what parts I would need. This was the second time I’ve needed Pioneer heating technicians and only have good complements. I wish I could say the same about their plumbers.

We’re very happy with Robert and Surfnplumbers. We also trusted him to come to the house and complete repairs even when we can’t be home. Robert is a knowledgeable hard worker. We are happy we have him to count on.

Joe came by and piped a gas line into my kitchen for a new range. Showed up next day, in and out in no time. A bit on the pricey end but a quality job. Plus, no sense getting cheap when gas lines in your home are involved.

Robert came out and fixed some issues and I couldn't be more pleased with him and the job he done. I give Robert five stars

Office people not good not pros here going somewhere else

John H. came to check my new HVAC unit due to a sound I’ve heard twice for a very short time, but we weren’t able to recreate it. He did check things out and encouraged me to call them back if it reoccurs. I do love my new American Standard unit. In addition I asked him to look at my condensation drip line running to the exterior as I was worried about something originating from my builder (home 3 yrs old). He took the time to investigate thoroughly- explaining everything in an easy to understand way. There was a strange white residue on my exterior wall and while he had some ideas of what it might be, he took photos and sent to his supervisor for additional input. He informed me they would call me back about that. He answered all my random questions and left. About 10-15 minutes later I had a knock at my door and it was John and he had contacted Matt T. ( he serviced my old unit multiple times and was familiar with my set up). John provided Matt’s explanation- (was similar to what John thought) and I really appreciated him taking the time to come back and inform me in person (particularly when severe storms were baring down on us). I must say I was a little hesitant and skeptical when I learned of Frog and Pioneer merging as that can really affect service (absolutely loved Frog). I was very surprised and pleased with Pioneer services and the technician they sent. Would definitely recommend them.
Aside note: if you buy a new Beazer home- get your own pre-close inspection and have them look carefully at HVAC and plumbing.

These people are awesome! I thought we were in need of a simple fix, but nope. Chris and Rob had to lay some heavy information on us about our situation but he really made us feel comfortable. The short of it is, we had a lot of work done by Tommy and Nate and they did a great job quickly and The Surfin’ Plumbers followed it up with a fantastic warranty!!! Thank you Surfin’ Plumbers!

Kevin came into a bad situation in that the installer of our air handler had left cardboard on the heating coil’s. He was very thorough and finally found the problem. Work with me on getting in touch with warranty people. Really appreciated everything he did and we intend to go with the Surfing Plumber‘s club on all of our HVAC equipment.

I had a tankless water heater installed by another company. It started leaking after 6pm. I called the office & the got techs to my house in less than 24 hours. Realizing my unit was shot they cleared their schedule, ordered a new unit & installed it all in the same day. They were great - Vince & Mason!

The technician was very helpful throughout the whole process answered all of my questions . Mr. Craig done and outstanding job on explaining the whole process. I would highly recommend this technician.
