I have a house in Baltimore city and I was in need for plumbing advice. I found Empire plumbing and Heating llc and I called them and scheduled an appointment .
The technician came out on time and I paid the fee for plumbing consultation upon arrival. I’m so glad I made this move because all the other plumbing companies were trying to sell me stuff that I didn’t need. Honest , respectful, knowledgeable and helpful that’s all I wanted to say. They were invited to connect the water pipe today. He said it cost $1,781. We told him whether to do it well. He replied yes. As a result, he didn't start to do it and said he couldn't do it. If we want us to pay him 1781, we will say that you didn't start to do it and asked me to pay. He said that he had to pay when he came here. As a result, my water pipe was not ready and I had to pay.

He also respected our home by wearing shoe covers, keeping & maintaining social distancing & wearing his face covering at all times. We were very pleased with his work & all of the information he disseminated to us.

Garbage business. Horrible phone presence. Couldn't even email a quote for a water heater. Maybe the secretary was offended by my questioning the verbal quote. Well she lost the business for them and I will also be reporting the unprofessionalism to Home Depot since they now have to find me a new plumber.

Just go somewhere else. These guys can't even get out of their own front door...

I have dealt with plenty of plumbers recently as I work my way through a cluster of a renovation project. I found the perfect fixture while on vacation in Europe and figure it would be a piece of cake to install. Little did my smooth brain know that British pipes use different threads than American pipes. The plumber I have already paid thousands of dollars to was not able to figure this out. Desperate, I called CA Taciak who graciously took my call. Lexi, who I spoke with, took down as much information as she could, and before she gave me a quote, said she would be back with more information. Minutes later, I received a message detailing exactly what would need to be done to adapt my traitorous redcoat fixture to my freedom sized pipes. This saved me tons of money because I am sure a lesser plumber would charge me for a trip out, not know what they were doing, charge me for a trip to the hardware store, charge me for the incorrect pieces, and walk off the job with the job incomplete yet still send me an invoice. The knowledge and kindness exhibited is a rare trait in this world and I cannot recommend CA Taciak and Sons enough.

Although the people who take customer calls and route the technicians (i.e., dispatch) care nothing about customer service, the technician who came to our house cared deeply about making sure that we were satisfied.Our sump pump failed three weeks ago during a serious rain storm, and we noticed that we had water seeping up from our basement floor late at night. Without any time to do the research needed to find an honest and competent plumber, we called Roto Rooter, which was a regrettable decision. Understandably, they were not able to send a plumber that same night (there was lots of flooding in the area), so we arranged to have someone come by the next day between 1 and 3. I had to take off half a day from work, without pay. I waited around until 3, only to get the runaround from dispatch when I asked what was going on. After two more calls (and waiting on hold for an inordinate amount of time), I was finally patched through to someone who told me they could send a plumber between 4 and 6. The problem was that I needed to get my toddler from daycare at 5, and they couldn't have someone working when no one was home. So, after some more calls, we figured out that only feasible option was to have someone come between 6 and 8, which meant that my wife also had to leave work early - more money down the drain for us, and no closer to an actual solution to our acute plumbing problem. What I realized along the way was that dispatch took appointments from anyone who called in, regardless of whether they had anyone available to actually do the work. As a result, the people doing the work were completely unable to keep their schedule, which meant that suckers like me were left in the lurch. The absolutely infuriating thing about it was that the recording they played while I was on hold kept repeating these innate statements about how much they cared about customer satisfaction. Such a joke. They couldn't care less about customer satisfaction - they just want to profit as much as they can anytime there are flood-like conditions.Eventually the technician arrived around 9 (six to eight hours after he was supposed to). He took the time to clear out the debris in the well and even installed gravel to help prevent problems in the future. Even though it was late, he took a good 2.5 hours to make sure that the job was well done. He even left us his personal number in case we had problems with dispatch in the future. This proved to come in handy during the next heavy rain storm, when there was a mechanical problem with the sump pump he installed. I called dispatch to complain, and they could make no commitment that someone would arrive anytime soon. I called up the technician who came out before and he was at my house within the hour. He replaced the pump quickly and at no charge. We were very grateful for that.Although the dispatch side of the company is dishonest and money-grubbing, it does seem like they have honest and competent technicians on staff. Even so, I'd do yourself a favor: go with an local, independent company that actually cares about their reputation and isn't beholden to a corporate culture that prioritize profits over customer service.

Personally had my plumbing worked on by the owner, haven't had a problem since. I feel that these guys don't get enough credit and they have always been on standby for me if I ever had a problem or question. Thank You for the dedication and hard work.

Rich Bush helped replace my water heater, he was the best repairman I could’ve asked for. He was very professional and caring, a great gentleman. My old water heater had many issues and it was a complicated job but he stayed for hours to make sure that everything was perfect. Couldn’t recommend him more.
