Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Our technician, Joseph 5423, was punctual and very professional from the outset. He was very personable and polite and go straight to the job at hand. We had a leaky bathroom pipe which had been badly repaired by another plumber in the area. Instead of patch repairing the same section of pipe, Joseph replaced the whole section as we had asked the previous plumber to do. It was a very tight space and so Joseph warned us of the danger of using a blow torch for spot-welded repairs, as the previous plumbing company had done, in such confined spaces surrounded by flammable materials, hence why he had replaced the whole section of copper pipe.Joseph waited for a half hour after the repair was completed to make sure that there were no further issues, informing us that this was standard procedure, and again something the previous plumbing company did not do.Over all we are very pleased with the work carried out, and so far so good. We paid exactly the price we were quoted initially with no surprise add-ons, which is exactly what you should expect from a professionally run company. Highly recommended, and we will be using their services again in future should we need a reliable plumber.

We had the laundry line from the washer cleaned out. So far, so good, it seems to be draining well.The tech was great, and the service appointment was offered the same day I called.However, we feel the charge was way overpriced, $560 after a senior discount for about an hours work. If not for the price, I would rate 5 stars.

Franklin was so professional nice and very Knowledgeable gave us some tips for how to keep our drains clean. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

We were told to expect service between 9 to 1pm. Serviceman gave us a heads up that he could be here at 8:30 and we accepted the early arrival. He came prepared to work. Answered all our questions and did his work cleanly and quickly all to our satisfaction!

Tech Josh, #5765, was beyond helpful and very courteous. He quickly assessed the problems and was able to take care of it. He ensured that the job was done correctly and the area was cleaned thoroughly when he finished. He also took time to explain what had happened and how it could be prevented. He also took extra time to answer all my plumbing questions that were not even associated with the problems we had called about.

After realizing we had something coming up in our basement drain, we contacted RR and all three points of contact we had were very knowledgeable and super friendly. The woman who took our call (sorry I can't remember her name) was very patient and knowledgeable and set us up with a same day appointment with the technician (Al). Not only did he wear booties and put drop clothes EVERYWHERE, he even put booties on his hand truck and tires of his machine...THANK YOU for respecting our home! He assessed the situation and was back out the very next morning with his equipment (a Saturday) and walked us through our options and solutions and then the very next Monday his camera guy (Derek) shared the wonderful news that there was no additional cause for concern, all looked good. Pricing seemed very fair and on top of it, I forgot to give the tech my coupon, but they redeemed it after the fact. Very pleased with the service and I recommend.

Desmond did a great job at our home today. From the start, the communication was great from appointment time to when he would arrive and then for the work being done. I was very happy with the service we were provided.

Thank you Duane and Van! I initially had problems with a cracked boiler pipe in January of 2018 and I contacted Roto-Rooter, it was repaired. I then had a problem with my water heater in May of 2018and I called you back. You guys were very professional at all times and very knowledgeable. Joseph (#5423) was fantastic! I had a clogged kitchen pipe that another plumbing company had already worked on for 3 hours that same day but they were unsuccessful in breaking up the clog, which was 35 feet into the pipe. Joseph came in and said he could get it done, even after hearing about the failed attempts of earlier. Joseph spent two hours working on the pipe and was finally able to break through at 55ft! Joseph was so courteous and respectful; if you get him for your service technician you are lucky! My only complaint is about the company itself and the service window. I was given a window of 4-6pm, got a phone call at 5pm saying it would be another hour before a technician would be at my place. I then got another phone call at 6pm saying it would be an additional hour or more due to traffic. Joseph finally showed up at 7:45pm because traffic from DC to Baltimore was horrible, as to be expected. The company should plan their technicians commutes better!

I requested a same-day plumber to unclog a bathtub for a tenant. I was told the plumber would arrive within an hour. I got the courtesy call that the plumber was 20 minutes away. The plumber showed up nearly 2 hours late. I was then quoted $721 to unclog the tub. Nothing major needed to be done..No repairs...just unclogging. Luckily I found someone local that simply used Draino and a plunger ($50).

Roto Rooter got the job done, on schedule, and the service guy, Jeff, was very nice and professional. He arrived within the estimated time frame, diagnosed the problem and was out of my house within an hour. My one complaint is the cost. The charge was $360 to snake my drains. This cost included the application of a $100 coupon. Considering there were no parts and labor was minimum, this seems excessive to me.

Had Roto Rooter come out after the first plumber couldn't fix the issue. They were here about an hour and all was fixed. They were quick friendly and clean! Will definitely call them back if I need them.

This was our first time using Roto Rooter and we are completely satisfied! We called with toilet problems at 5pm, and a technician was to our home by 6:30! Purcell, tech # 3755, was very respectful and professional, and even recommended (without being pushy) our next plumbing job to keep our house in good condition. I would recommend Roto Rooter to anyone with plumbing issues in the future. If you live in the Dundalk area, definitely try to request Purcell - he was great!

I had a major sewage back up and contacted several local plumbers and no response because it was a Holiday. Then, I contacted Roto-rooter and someone was at my door less than an hour. Dama, and Josh were very professional, sensitive and helpful . When Mike arrived the next day to complete the restoration, he was very thorough and knowledgeable.

We had an emergency at 11pm where all the water in our house stopped drained and a faucet in the unfinished part of our basement started dumping gallons of water onto our floor. We had to turn off all the water to the house and called Roto-Rooter. They had someone out to the house in less than an hour in in 45min he was able to resolve the problem. I was so happy with their efficiency and speed. Worth every penny.

I called to have someone unclog my basement drain. Within an hour someone was here. The technician Duane was very efficient, he laid cloths across my rugs to keep them clean. He very quickly went to work and my drains are working fine now. It did not take long at all for the work to done. I am very pleased and would recommend Roto-Rooter.

Tech showed up on time and was polite. After assessing the situation he informed me that the cost for clearing the drain (a 30 minute job) would be $728. I refused and said I'd find another plumber. He than offered a 10% discount. I again refused and he offered 30% off. When I said no again, he went out to his truck. He returned 5 minutes later and offered 50% off. While I felt $364 was still ridiculously high, I agreed to it. Tech proceeded to spend 30 minutes and the drain is now clear. While the work was done well, I felt the price was out of line and the negotiations left a terrible taste. I wonder how many people end up paying the full price. I will not use their services again.

Kam was a GREAT technician. He arrived quickly and wore booties over his shoes. Kam introduced himself and listened closely to the issue that I was having. Kam did a thorough investigation of my home to determine the most effective way to go about solving the problem and provided an estimate of the time and cost of the job. He worked quickly and was neat. He communicated with me during the job and answered all of my questions. Kam finished the job when he predicted that he'd wrap up and cleaned up after himself. Thank you, Kam!

My main line drain backed up at 6 pm and with one phone call Chris was there by 8:30. He was cordial, told me about his experience and went to work. It took 3 runs of the snake to finally clear the line. Through all this, Chris never wavered and assured me he would get this line cleared and free of the clog. Finally by 10:00 the work was done and I was able to use water again in my home. Thank you Chris.

Roto-Rooter has consistently provided me with excellent service throughout the years. Today, my Roto-Rooter Service technician was Chan 1074. He arrived promptly at the appointed time, provided a professional estimate which I accepted, and was exceptionally courteous. Main line was clogged. Plumber was professional, skilled, and was able to unclog the pipe. Came on time and was scrupulous about wearing gloves and shoe covers. He cleaned up really well after a messy job - left the bathroom spotless. A bit pricey but the job was well done.

During the massive snowstorm we had this past weekend, I noticed a slow drip coming from the ceiling in my basement bathroom. I immediately thought the worst, that a pipe had frozen. I called Rotorooter because I knew they would be able to see me same day, and I have had excellent service from them before. I called and set up a same day appointment, and all they asked is if the road was plowed... luckily it was. I originally called in the morning, and due to the weather and my cell phone not working, the tech wasn't able to get to my house until 5 pm. Chris, tech #2952 arrived, and immediately assessed the situation. Right above the leak on the first floor was another bathroom, and he decided to inspect that before opening up my ceiling in the basement. Sure enough, he found the source of the leak... the sink which was recently installed was installed incorrectly (by the flippers who I bought my house from) and the stripped the teeth on the connector to the drain pipe. Chris showed me everything, and took his time to educate me on the problem. He also looked around at everything else, and pointed out poor caulking, and a poorly installed shower system. He repaired the sink, and then inspected the basement pipes to make sure that was the true cause, which it was.I have never worked with a more honest, respectful, and professional person. Chris was excellent, and I highly recommend him. For the amount of work he did, and for the peace of mind he provided me and my family, the price was excellent too!

Received call that service technician could come earlier than my noon appt! Very nice. He arrived 11:00am. Very courteous and efficient. He was in and out within an hour with the problem solved and instructions for helping to keep the kitchen drain clean.I suppose the only thing I'd want to know ahead of time, when I schedule the appointment, is what the basic costs to expect. I suppose these are on the website somewhere, but would be nice to get some estimate when the appointment is confirmed.

This was our second time using Roto-Rooter and it's been a great experience both times. I was told to expect someone between 8am-12. Jimmy and Ryan showed up at 8:45, very quick service! Job#19526825. Darryl (3172) and Percell (3755), The Dream Team! came on 11/11 to replace my broken 17 year old water heater in my Townhouse. They did a fantastic job and were very thorough and even took time to explain what they were doing as i was watching them. They were very courteous and cleaned up after the work and made sure everything was tested and functioning properly when finished. Would definitely recommend them for future plumbing work!

Emergency last minute service needed!!! Roto Rooter came through and delivered huge for our family. Jim Deruchie was our service tech, and we couldn't have asked for a better professional. Service was fast, clean and extremely easy. We experienced our problem Friday night before the 4th of July... expecting 30+ people in our home the next day. Saturday morning, Jim showed up at the scheduled time, on time, and cleared our clog. Thank you very much for such great service!

Mr Purcell 3755 came in to do what i thought was a small job but turns out is was not. He took the time to explain to me what was going on with my bathroom in detail that was easy for me to understand. He spent the whole day. He came early than expected and in a very professional manner. He was very helpful and knowledgeable; he is by far the best service guy I've encountered and he is a good asset to your company. I'm going to state none-bias facts, you decide how you feel about the situation. Called rotor-rooters to clear a main drain at my rental property. I am the landlord and was the main point of contact. Communicated with the tech via phone and text as I was not at the property.Tech could not unclog main drain via the basement shower drain (this is were water was coming from) so he called and asked for permission to remove the toilet to try and run his drain cleaner line from there. He was successful.I later receive a call that the technician had his drain cleaner line stuck in a drain in the laundry room (this is a completely different room from where the issue was) and that he will have to cut the drain cleaner line and leave it as-is. This drain is to a sink next to the washer machine, which is where the water from the machine drains to.The technician stated that he noticed the water drained slow in that sink and decide to run his drain cleaner line in it. The technician never asked for permission to snake that drain nor was he asked to snake the drain. The only contact I received regarding that drain in the washer room was to tell me that his line was stuck in the drain.I was invoiced a pretty big bill for solving the main drain issue. I was also left with bigger issue than what I had before. To remove that snake, I will now have to rip open the floor to access underground plumbing. It's expected to cost a couple thousand dollars to do. Rotor-rooters came to the house the next day and had the tenant sign their invoice along with a Release and Hold Agreement.I am currently working with a lawyer on this issue. Wish me luck.

At my house I had Mr. Charley Rogers 3205 to deal with an emergency ceiling leak and faucet replacement.. He totally solved the problems and honestly was the best person I've ever had work on my house for anything. I would request him again in a heartbeat. Josh 5765 was amazing.He was extremely helpful. He came and was able to fix the issue immediately. He was able to answer all of my questions that I had when it came what the issue was and how to fix it. He was very polite and I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family for all of their plumbing meeds.

Fast and friendly from start to finish. After spending several frustrating hours under my kitchen sink yesterday trying to fix a clogged drain, I threw in the towel and begrudgingly called. Scheduling the appoint same-day was hassle-free, I was called and notified when the technician was on the way with an arrival time (so I could leave work and meet them), and Zam #4514 arrived promptly. He explained everything he needed to do before he started and then worked efficiently and neatly. There was no upselling, he cleaned up after himself and put everything back in place when he was done.I hope I don't need to call a plumber again any time soon, but if I do, I will give them my business again.

We had a back up in our kitchen sink and dishwasher area. I went online and chatted with an online rep who was able to schedule a plumber to respond very quickly. Our plumber, DARRYL #13-3172, showed up within the time frame given. Darryl not only solved our issue but did it with extreme professionalism! He also cleaned the area better than he found it and gave further instruction on how to avoid issues that may arise in the future. Very pleased with the company, Darryl and the entire process!

Lovely technician. Easy to work with and tidy. Solved our drain issue by vacuuming up the visible silt then snaking the line. Finally running the hose for 10 minutes to flush everything out and make sure sump pump kicked in, which it did. Was I ever floored when he presented a bill for $630 ... for LABOR. He was here about 75 minutes MAX ... the first 20-30 minutes assessing the situation. It was not an after hours call. He did not drive a fancy truck ... nor did he use over the top equipment ... $630 to snake a drain ... highway robbery! Oh, and while he was here I got a call from RR wanted to sell me their mitigation services ... stopped payment on check ... waiting for a return call from management ... I won't make this mistake again ... do yourself a favor a find a plumber! Stay clear of Roto Rooter!06/18/19 - follow up to review above. After making my opinion known to the Roto Rooter dispatcher I was told someone would contact within two hours or the next day seeing as it was after 5. To their credit I heard from someone within the hour ... and had a second call the next day. I was listened to and they worked with me to make this a much happier ending. Again I can’t stress enough my satisfaction with their technician, their timeliness and their willingness to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction. So for the future ... don’t go into this as trusting as I was ... ALWAYS demand a quote before allowing Roto-Rooter to do your repair. Thank you RR.

We had the best experience with Roto Rooter. We had next day service for a flooded basement (could have been same day but we couldn't do that day). They were efficient and knowledgeable. We haven't had a problem with the rain and basement drainage since!

Great experience all around. Made appointment online and Quentin showed up within the hour (on Sunday of a holiday weekend) to unclog my kitchen sink. He was professional, courteous and thorough. I would use this company again and recommend it to friends based on my experience.

I called this morning with a concern over toilets that did not flush well, and a service plumber named Chris arrived in two hours. He assessed the problem, explained the problem to me, gave me an estimate of charges, picked up the necessary toilets, and replaced our three toilets by the end of the day. The plumber cleaned the area before he left, so we were fully functional again! I paid by credit card, and he was gone in minutes. This is the kind of service you want and need when your plumbing is involved. Alleluia!

Technician was neatly dressed and easily identifiable. He was polite, explained what he was doing and made the repair very quickly. Also, he suggested reusing the faucet handle of the old part as the replacement for the other repair work which saved me money. Highly recommend.

They did a good job to clean my kitchen drain clog, even if they had to do it a couple time to get the job done. The first guy came and cleaned the drain clog. He thought the drain was clear and he left. My wife started using the sink to wash dishes and the water started back up again. I called the company and they sent second guy whose name is Cung (his ID#5511). This guy acted as a professional. He covered his shoes and the wheels of the drain cleaner machine before entering my house. He cleaned the drain again but this time was more thoroughly. He kept my house clean while perform the job. He also helped me replace the gasket for one of the kitchen sink drain strainer. This time the kitchen drain was completely clean and no more water back up.

I had leaking tub drain that was causing a leak in my living room ceiling below. My technician Chuck did everything in his power to fix everything at the bathtub as opposed to just tearing up my ceiling below. He did this even after the old tub drain crumbled apart while trying to remove it. I have managed in a service related business for the past 23 years, and would be very happy to have technicians like this work for me. He was more concerned about my needs than maybe a easy way out of fixing a problem. I will certainly use them again if needed, they were very customer friendly from the speedy service, called in the night before, to the technician.

I was able to schedule an appointment the same day. The technician arrived on time and was prepared to fix my water leak. He explained the problem thoroughly and his estimate was accurate. Hopefully, I will not need another plumber, but if I do, I would definitely use this service again in the future.

I was charged over $900 to sneak a drain. When i asked for an itemized bill all i got was the run around. I spoke with to Dennis Hofmann and asked for an itemized also to him that i need pictures of what was done along with an itemized bill of what needed to be done to submit to my insurance company and i haven't heard from him in over 2 weeks. I contact his office and was given the same run around and still waiting to hear from him to submit the paper work to my insurance company. I would not recommend ROTO-ROOTER to anyone.

We have used Roto Rooter before and because we got such good service we decided to use them again. The tech came out the same day we called and gave us excellent advise as to proceed with a new faucet or fix the old one. The tech couldn't remove the fucet because it was so old, so we bougt a new one and the tech came back the next day and installed it. He was very pleasant and efficient. He had a trainee with him and the job was finished in good time and was done very well. Our bath was left clean and all was working. The tech's name was Chris and I didn't get the trainee's name but he did and good job and was also pleasant and efficient.We will use Roto Rooter again in the future.

Toilet was leaking and making sounds in tub drain when flushed. First guy found flushable wipes said not to use them. Replaced parts that I don't think needed replacing and left. Soon after same problem. Someone else came couldn't fix problem. Third person came and after removing toilet for third time after finishing he said toilet was rocking so he caulked it. Don't think last two guys understood English. Very frustrating never had these problems with company before but won't be calling them again.

We had some plumbing problems called a few plumbing services couldn't get anyone to come out on a Saturday and then we called rotorooter and they came out the same day!! We were vary pleased with the service of Purcell#3755 he did a great job vary friendly and explained everything to us and my overall experience with him was great ! If you ever need a plumber make sure you request Purcell!

It was Saturday of Labor Day Weekend, and our water heater blew, one day after my husband returned from the hospital. Water was seeping everywhere in our basement. After we found out our local home and heating service didn't have capability on the holiday weekend, I saw good reviews for Roto-Rooter and called them. The plumber was there within a half hour; the crew to clean the carpets were there about an hour and a half later. It took the whole day, and was tons of work for the crew, but it was done with good humor and care. The biggest thing was the utter relief to have them take care of this the same day. I'm most grateful to Roto-Rooter.

The techs were patient and courteous because we were upset with our current contract Plummer because he did not fix the kitchen sink being backup problem. We called Roto Rooter they were here within a couple of hours. They access our concerns and communicate to us on what they want to do. They worked very diligently until the problem was resolved. Wow! Thanks for all you do, finally after all this frustrated time it took a phone call to Roto Rooter.

The technician was on time and very friendly. He diagnosed the problem quickly and talked us through each step. We had a significant clog but it was all resolved in about 2 hours. The kitchen sink is fully functioning for the holidays. I would recommend this technician, DaeKwan Rose to anyone. He left the kitchen as clean as he found it and never spilled any sewage water. I cannot say the price is easy on the wallet. Of course, I had no choice. Thank you Mr. Rose for getting our Christmas back on track.

I made the appointment for them to show between 3:30 and 4:30. No one arrived until 9:30. The gentleman who did the work was good and fixed my issue.

Joseph 5423 did a wonderful job to solve the main sewer line backup problem for us. He came very quickly, did a very professionally job and clean up the area after the job is done. From now on, whenever we have problem plumbing problem we will request Joseph and we will refer Joseph ( Roto-Rooter Plumbing) to our friends too.

Our Roto-Rooter repairman, Matt Lewis, was extremely professional. He answered all of our questions and explained thoroughly the service contract. He was very clear as to what needed to be done, and handled the job in a timely and efficient manner. For wonderful customer service we receive from Roto Rooter, we have been, and continue to be, loyal customers.

Kima was on time and very helpful! He walked me through everything that he needed to do to take care of the issue and advised me of what to look out for in the future. Also, when I called initially asking for someone to come out, the person I spoke with (Corey) was nice. A supervisor also came out in the meantime to see what was happening (Jake), who was also very nice. Spending money on plumbing issues is a headache in itself but having friendly/professional service makes it a little less painful. Thanks again Kima!

I can't thank Roto-Rooter enough. When the toilets and tub backed up at the same time, Roto-Rooter came out the same day to see what was going on. I was dealing with some family issues, so they worked with my schedule to quickly assess what work would be needed. Jason Nelson did the scoping of the main line and set up the follow-on moisture detection assessment with Derrick Allender. He came out the next day and worked quickly with me and my insurance company to begin the ball rolling to get things repaired. I'm so pleased with how quickly they were able to help and how much of the administrative work they took off my plate.

I found my kitchen sink was clogged after I came back from my vacation about a week. It was unfortunate that the day I found was Christmas day so many plumbers did not reply or proposed to visit on weekdays. I really did not want to have my kitchen sink clogged while celebrating Christmas with my family, and I was fortunate to find Roto-rooter.The technician, Ben, showed up two hours after I gave them a call to schedule, and he was super nice and professional. It seemed to be a bit pricy but considering that it was on Christmas holiday and took care of it on the same date I think it was quite reasonable and understandable.Of course, the clogging was solved and the kitchen sink works fine now.

I had a blockage in my toilet and there was water coming up from the base of my toilet and up into my tub.When Greg # 8288 arrived, he quickly checked out my other drains to know exactly what he needed to take care of my problem. He had to remove my toilet and discovered my seal was almost non-existent. He snaked out the pipes and reattached my toilet. He also took the time to recommend what not to do to prevent the problem again, as well as some upgrades to have it working properly in the future. Greg was very kind and polite.Rotor-Rooter should be proud to have him represent their company.I was very impressed that he placed cardboard under the toilet when it was removed, as well as under all the equipment that he brought with him, which he removed when he left.He even had a shop vac to remove so much of the mess, what a relief.This showed me that he cared about my property.I was pleasantly relieved to see there was very little clean up I had to do, considering the mess I was facing before he arrived.My only wish is that there would have been a way to get estimated prices so I could do some comparison shopping. The price was a bit more than I had expected.All in all it was a welcomed outcome, thanks to Greg.

[Update]: Again, at 8:30pm on a Friday night, I answered the door to see Purcell waiting to install a new sink faucet. We had water back-up in our basement. GREG THOMPSON was extremely helpful and very thorough. He used the camera for a visual inspection and immediately went to work. It took him multiple attempts to clear the line but he kept on clearing. After almost 2.5 hours on his knees pulling and pushing that heavy equipment, he remained good natured and very pleasant, answering our questions and giving helpful tips. The service was absolutely awesome! The technician, Van, immediately identified the source of the problem and went to work. It turns out that the main drainage line was clogged due to natural build up in the pipe. It took him about 30 minutes to snake and fix the problem. He was very courteous and professional I would definitely use this service again and recommend to others.

We had an issue with our water heater. Had one company come out first, and they quoted us and exuberant price so we decided to call Roto Rooter as a second opinion. Not only did they show up less than 2 hrs of the initial call, but they fixed the problem within an hour, and saved us a lot of money. Min and Mohammed came and solved a long standing issue with our hot water that many other plumbers could not solve previously. He solved it quickly and listened to our statements rather than stubbornly standby wrong assessments as previous plumbers did and found our problem with a solution in less than an hour that had taken weeks to solve elsewhere.

I was very impressed with the service I received. The plumber, Charley, was nice; he explained things thoroughly, was careful not to scratch the floors or let the cat out, and worked efficiently to get stuff fixed. The sewer line backing up was not the best start to my day, but I did appreciate that I was able to get quick assistance from someone who seemed knowledgeable and trustworthy.

They ran a power snake twice without success and said our only option was to have a hydro jet treatment that would cost almost $1,000. They are pricey - the flat rate to take care of business is about $700 whether it takes 3 hours or 30 minutes - but they will show up fast, they will solve your problem fast, and you can get on with your life. I've used our local franchise twice (many years apart) and though the techs that arrived were different people, both of them showed the same professionality and capability.

I had a major issue with my basement shower with sewage backup.They communicated with me though text and phone about the Technician that was on the way.The Technician that arrived at my home was Jeff #1174 he was very polite and knowledgeable about the situation. Jeff had all of his safety equipment on and was ready to take on the job. This is the first google review I think I have ever written. I am that dissatisfied with this company. That said, it wasn't all bad, so I am going to try to be objective about it.Our toilet stopped filling the night before my wife and I were set to fly across country for my cousin's wedding. After watching dozens of YouTube videos and inspecting the toilet, it becomes clear that the issue was a cracked overflow tube, and required a replacement of the toilet's flushing mechanism. I decided to pay for a plumber to take care of this issue rather than get back from a long trip to a non-functioning toilet and having to spend my first day back after a redeye flight picking up the parts and trying to fix this myself. I saw Roto-Rooter had high google reviews, and decided to hire them.First, the good: they arrived quickly to my house, and the person who I interacted with on the phone initially was pleasant and clear. They also did not charge a fee for a plumber to respond to the home and diagnose the issue (but wait for it, this is a massive bait and switch). Finally, they ended up fixing the toilet, which is functioning normally since we returned from our trip.The bad: replacing the flushing mechanism on a toilet has to be among the most common issues a plumber deals with on a day to day basis. We had already drained the water in our toilet, and nobody had used it prior to us calling the plumber (in other words, there was nothing exceptional or gross about this job that would warrant a huge increase in price). The plumber who responded to the house was brash and uncommunicative. It was extremely difficult to get a straight answer from him on pricing matters over the phone. I did manage to gather that the issue was, in fact, a broken overflow tube and that the flushing mechanism had to be replaced. In the end, he ended up charging me $467 dollars to replace the flushing mechanism. He was in the apartment for less than an hour. To be clear, the parts for this job cost just $32. He charged me $411 for labor (plus tax). I later learned that you could buy a brand new toilet from Lowes and pay for them to deliver and install it for less money than Roto-Rooter charged me to replace the flushing mechanism.I was so upset about it that I called the office back to complain. Someone from Roto-Rooter answered and told me with a straight face that $411 is what their company charges per hour for labor. If you search google for how much this job should cost, the range is anywhere from $100 - $150 on the high end. She then asked me if the Plumber had mentioned to me about their online coupons (he had not), and agreed to take $75.00 off my bill. All in all, I got completely ripped off even with the coupon discount, and am trying to warn other folks to not make the same mistake I did. Don't get lured in by the no fee consultation. Look elsewhere.

Roto Rooter responded to a late call from me on Saturday night to replace a leaking toilet water supply valve. Their response was within 45 min.and their plumbing tech., Dal quickly replaced the valve to stop the leakage.I was very impressed with their response and their upgraded selection of a gate valve instead of a cheap box store valve that most other plumbing companies would have used to replace the leaking supply valve that could not be repaired.We will definitely use their service again.

Had a great experience from Purcell #3755. For whatever reason, plumbing issues always seem to happen over the weekend and at night, so I really appreciated Roto Rooter's nighttime service. He was professional and got the job done quickly. I've used Roto Rooter three times and have had good experiences each time.

He did a good job cleaning the drain & pipes & replaced a toilet but the bathroom door hits the new toilet & the door won't shut. Not good for the bathroom user. He was up front with the cost and made an honest assessment of our initial issue (a wet spot in front of the bathroom - was not a leak - someone spilled water there - me!) which did not need the attention that we thought. Tony was on time, very professional and thorough. He worked tirelessly to clear a clog that was straight from the depths of hell. He identified where the clog was and went right to work ! When I say He was very professional , I mean that in the most sincere way. I had a hypoglycemic episode while he was working and didn’t think I was going to be able to raise my sugar enough to not pass out so my husband called a paramedic. Their restoration team monitored any water damage and helped me file a claim with my home insurer. I felt properly guided through one of our first major hurdles of homeownership. Our plumber Rohming was very informative and prompt in providing a solution to our problem. After explaining that I have a family of 5, they understood I couldn't afford to stay at hotel. Although the people who take customer calls and route the technicians (i.e., dispatch) care nothing about customer service, the technician who came to our house cared deeply about making sure that we were satisfied.Our sump pump failed three weeks ago during a serious rain storm, and we noticed that we had water seeping up from our basement floor late at night. Without any time to do the research needed to find an honest and competent plumber, we called Roto Rooter, which was a regrettable decision. Understandably, they were not able to send a plumber that same night (there was lots of flooding in the area), so we arranged to have someone come by the next day between 1 and 3. I had to take off half a day from work, without pay. I waited around until 3, only to get the runaround from dispatch when I asked what was going on. After two more calls (and waiting on hold for an inordinate amount of time), I was finally patched through to someone who told me they could send a plumber between 4 and 6. The problem was that I needed to get my toddler from daycare at 5, and they couldn't have someone working when no one was home. So, after some more calls, we figured out that only feasible option was to have someone come between 6 and 8, which meant that my wife also had to leave work early - more money down the drain for us, and no closer to an actual solution to our acute plumbing problem. What I realized along the way was that dispatch took appointments from anyone who called in, regardless of whether they had anyone available to actually do the work. As a result, the people doing the work were completely unable to keep their schedule, which meant that suckers like me were left in the lurch. The absolutely infuriating thing about it was that the recording they played while I was on hold kept repeating these innate statements about how much they cared about customer satisfaction. Such a joke. They couldn't care less about customer satisfaction - they just want to profit as much as they can anytime there are flood-like conditions.Eventually the technician arrived around 9 (six to eight hours after he was supposed to). He took the time to clear out the debris in the well and even installed gravel to help prevent problems in the future. Even though it was late, he took a good 2.5 hours to make sure that the job was well done. He even left us his personal number in case we had problems with dispatch in the future. This proved to come in handy during the next heavy rain storm, when there was a mechanical problem with the sump pump he installed. I called dispatch to complain, and they could make no commitment that someone would arrive anytime soon. I called up the technician who came out before and he was at my house within the hour. He replaced the pump quickly and at no charge. We were very grateful for that.Although the dispatch side of the company is dishonest and money-grubbing, it does seem like they have honest and competent technicians on staff. Even so, I'd do yourself a favor: go with an local, independent company that actually cares about their reputation and isn't beholden to a corporate culture that prioritize profits over customer service.

We had a toilet where the flush assembly completely broke off and started spewing water. We tried shutting off water to the toilet, but then discovered that the shut off valve itself was leaking significantly. This was on a Saturday afternoon.We called two other plumbing companies in the area, one of which advertises same-day service, but neither had availability. By contrast, Roto Rooter told us they could have someone to us in four hours, then beat their own time estimate and got to us in half that time.The plumber that arrived was personable and clean; can't remember his name, but he was an Asian gentleman. He laid out the costs upfront, and the costs were much less than I expected; no after hours or weekend fees.Roto Rooter made the best out of our stressful Saturday. Highly recommended!

Technician arrived within four-hour window given. He quickly determined the cause of the problem and took time to explain it to me. The solution he proposed worked. Clean-up was OK but could have been better. However, manager reached out to me promptly and offered to send someone out to clean up to my satisfaction. When I told him I had already completed the clean-up myself, he processed a partial refund to my account and issued me a coupon for the next time I use Roto-Rooter. This prompt and professional customer service impressed me very much.

Within an hour of placing a call the technician Bryan # 2068 was here and had the problem fixed. He very professional, worked clean & quick. The service was also reasonably priced! I will call Roto-Rooter for all my plumbing needs :)

Over-charged, $400 for a small work that was done within 10 min. I requested the technician to check the line under the kitchen sink, though there was no clog. The technician told me that this a big job to clean kitchen sink line through p. trap. After getting a quote of $599 for this small job, he told me that he will give me discount. After finishing the job within 10 min, he told me the line is clean, and he did not find anything in this water disposal line. He told me that I have to pay $400 in order to check the line that was less than 20 feet water disposal line. After paying $400, I was surprised to learn that most illogical business I've ever dealt with.

Thanks to David and Roto Rooter for the insanely fast turnaround with our request. Sewage was backing up into our bath tub and it smelled horrendous. David assessed the issue and found a novel solution. I also learned a lot about plumbing since explained everything thoroughly during the repair. Two thumbs up!

The plumber was very courteous and efficient, but the cost of snaking a clogged drain was priced initially at $729.00. When we said that was too much, he mentioned two $100 coupons bringing it down to $500. Although we still felt thus was unusually high priced, we had him snake the drain and he also replaced a cracked pipe connector. The lesson I learned was to ask the price before scheduling an appointment.

Outstanding experience. From arrival on time for the appointment to providing a thorough explanation of the final bill and a review of the work performed, this service was best in class. Where its a good thing to not have alot of experience with this service provider, the technician (Chal) settled nerves quickly by explaining the process, talking us through the charges, walking through the task, then went about his business without delay. He arrived with all the right tools and was incredibly diligent and thorough in clearing our line of pesky roots. He even ran a camera to verify his work. Free estimate, as opposed to other plumbing services who will charge $50 for an estimate if no service is provided (granted its waived if they do any service). Our plumbing professional was on time and we got a courtesy call 30 minutes in advance. When booking an appointment, they gave a 2 hour window same day, actually within 15 minutes, whereas another local service said their next available was 3 days later (no thanks). Paid 332.00 total for a toilet unclog, he also inspected our whole bathroom unofficially, and gave us lots of tips and what to look for. Good service overall! Would recommend.

Roto-Rooter was such a pleasure to work with. We had a pipe burst behind our heat pump in an incredibly awkward position. I was able to schedule my appointment online at 11pm, and the plumber Chris was out at the house at 9am the next morning. Chris was awesome. He took a look at the situation, walked me through the problem, and gave me an estimate that turned out to be right on the money. We have a friend who is a retired plumber, and he said for the work that Chris did, we got a great deal. Chris was very professional and made sure that everything was done correctly. He was friendly and honest, and after he had completed the work, he made sure to take me back through everything again. He even had someone come out to assess the water damage (at no charge) from the burst pipe and give me some information about what we would probably need to do to get it all fixed up. Overall, the experience with Roto-Rooter was top notch, and I highly recommend Chris's services.

I called Rotorooter on Memorial Day and Im stunned at the amazingly fast service I received from the technician Dama(1503) and the company itself. My husband suffers from Crohns disease and it's vital to have working plumbing. When we called we had toilet water/sewage that had backed up into our basement shower and left us with out any working bathrooms. After countless hours of plunging and snaking we knew we had to call someone. My husband starting googling plumbers in the area that were available 24/7 and holidays, we put off calling Rotorooter thinking a big well known company like them would cost a fortune, eventually after a bunch of outrageous service fees or not being available until the next day, we decided to try out Rotorooter. BEST DECISION EVER!! They came out within 2 hours of calling them, no upcharge for it being a holiday, and the came in cheaper than the other places estimates for the next day. Then after getting us unclogged and back into working order, we were told we'd have a followup tech come out(free of charge) with a camera and see if there was any issue down below ground that we needed to address. After unclogging us(ended up being tree roots grown into our pipes) Dama cleaned up thoroughly, even hand washed my floor!! Next issue and followup work from this Rotorooter is my #1 call. I called Roto because my hot water had a very low supply and usually was gone after 1 shower. They suggested to get a new water heater. The one I had was at least 20 years old. Water heater life expectancy is 8 to 12 years. They returned 48 hours later to install the new water heater. (They could have done it sooner, but I had some previous engagements).The water heater I had was a 50 gallon one, they bought a 40 gallon water heater to replace it. After the install, now I couldn't get hot water at all. They tried numerous fixes involving changing the thermometer and the elements, draining the water heater and re-installing it. But still no hot water. They tried every other solution they could to my satisfaction, but no hot water.I was advised to call an electrician to see if that was the possible issue. I got an electrician out the next, he found the issue was there was damage part in my circuit breaker that the water heater was pulling from. $30 fix. Once the part was replace hot water immediately starting coming in.After a few days of the water heater being installed, I'm getting about 4 to 5X more hot water than what I was getting before. I've tested it and pushed to its limits and so far I haven't been able to make it go cold. At worst it goes lukewarm, which is fine for me.Also, they installed an expansion tank which is something I was going to buy eventually anyway. I'm happy with the purchase and how the new hardware is working. The smaller water tank is performing better and gave back some space in the mechanical room.

Roto-Rooter did not complete the job I requested. They appeared to resolve the clog, but when I called for service I also said that I had water all over the crawl space. The dispatcher said he would send employees to review and repair my issues. They sent over 2 guys, one of did not appear to know almost anything, just a gofer for tools. I told them when they arrived I needed a clog to removed and to find the leak in the crawl space. After the clog was resolved we wealked back to the crawl space the senior employee said it was too small and refused togo in and look. I told him I have gone in several times and others had also with no issues. He said he would not go in and asked the gofer to go in. After a discussion, the gofer went in. He returned within 1-3 minutes and said it was all dry, no water anywhere. I said there is no way he could have inspected that in 3 minutes, but insisted he looked it all over and it was completely dry. I went in later and the next day and there is water all over. It appears he just made it up. I was charged $689 to get rid of 2 clogs which is very overpriced. I was also told I would get a $75 coupon but that did not happen. They sat in my driveway for over 45 mi.minutes before leaving. They also asked to use my water hose and extension cord and my long hose. The picture attached is insulation from the crawl space and is soaked, and there is water all over.

As always Roto Rooter was quick, professional and solved the problem without much fuss. They are very expensive, but you get what you pay for. Today Maung #4811 came out to our house to clear our main sewer line. He explained everything he was doing and showed us what was causing our clog. He cleaned up his work area and set up an appointment with a tech who could assist us in replacing the outside pipe. We are happy with the service we received and will be recommending Roto-Rooter to our friends and family.

We called about a clogged exterior pipe on a Saturday morning, and Roto Rooter arrived within an hour. The plumber, Jimmy, was courteous, professional, and identified the problem within minutes. He cleared the block, and re-engineered the drainage pipe so the problem would be less likely to recur. The timely service and quality of the work were excellent.

She explained each step that will be taken in restoring the water damage.Later in the day, two gentlemen from water restoration team arrived in a very large truck, walked through the job at hand, offloaded their many, large equipment and began work immediately. This is the fourth time Min has helped our family. He inspected the problem carefully with a good eye. In the past…The first plumber we used said we had to replace the whole shower, I felt hopeless. On Sunday afternoon, I made an appointment online for Roto-Rooter to come out between 4:00 and 8:00 that same evening. I immediately received an email saying thank you for your appointment and I received a phone call shortly afterwards to confirm that services were needed. Roto Rooter was contacted due to a basement comode and slow drain. Technicians Purcell (3755) and Chung (5511) were dispatched. After a brief conversation the problem was identified. The correct equipment was utilized and the problem was resolved within a short period of time. Purcell did reconize an additional issue, which he explained the virtue of replacing. We accepted his recommendation and further corrective was taken. All in all the service was excellent . I highly recommend Purcell for your plumbing needs.

The technician from Roto-Rooter was polite, efficient and cleaned up after himself. He was able to fix both. clogged drains. Very happy with the outcome. However - my only concern - and the reason why I didn’t give a 5 - is because the price is expensive and also rather nebulous. To be clear, fixing one drain is $623 according to their rate card, which is just ridiculous. While I negotiated a price for both drains that I could accept as reasonable, it seems like pricing is quite a game, and someone else might have just said ok to what was quoted.

The technician Jeff was courteous, professional and thorough. I do not approve of Roto Rooters pricing tactics. It seems their hourly rate is 189 per hour . they cam to my house twice in one day because they wanted to charge me $360 plus materials to complete a difficult project. I negotiated them down to $300 plus materials. That job took less than one hour. I realize being a plumber is a skill and they need to make a profit but $150 an hour as a discounted rate seems like gouging and then they overestimated how long the job would take. Both times they were at my house the work in total was just over one Hour and I paid almost $600 for those two visits with $25 of that being materials.

Emergency main water drain backup and a huge thanks to Keith from Roto-Rooter who took the extra call instead of going home to figure out what was wrong and fixed it as quickly as possible. While it wasn't the cheapest repair, it needed to be done and there's a 6-month warranty if it happens again.

On Sunday evening, we found water around our hot water heater and wanted a plumber immediately. We contacted Roto-rooter and someone arrived within 2 hours. Mr. Kam #855 was pleasant and found the true source of the water. Thank goodness we didn't need a new hot water heater! He also gave two estimates before starting the work. The price seemed fair based on the amount of work needed. Our problem was fixed.We will use this business again since staff are available on the weekends!

Olu 1165 was the first technician at my home and he was extremely kind and courteous. He had a hunch that my issue was more than a clog and called in Doug Pope to use the scope to verify what the problem really was. It is a good thing he did because if had just put everything back the problem would have only gotten worse and I would be spending even more money down the road. Doug showed me exactly what was happening under my home. As much as I don't look forward to spending the money and enduring a construction zone it is a necessary evil. He was very thorough in his explanation of exactly what has to be done and how they will go about doing it. All the while reassuring me that if I need anything or the toilet overflows again before the repair date to call him. Which leads me now to Jason Nelson. Having never had to use any homeowners policy in the 2 previous houses I have owned, he was so proactive. Of course with checking all the affected areas by the backup/overflow, but with the insurance company and how to proceed with them. He also reassured me that if I had questions or concerns to not hesitate to contact him. I am relieved that they have already scheduled the many of the necessary deconstruction/sanitizing/repair times/appts. They have all been very polite and professional.

Joseph came today and replaced my sump pump. He added a check valve and a pump stem. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend both him and Rotorooter for any of your plumbing needs.

Joseph 5423 and CJ came to my house to fix a leak in my shower/tub. They found the issue immediately and by only removing the minimal amount of drywall. They then ran out to procure a part and made the repair. The whole process only took about 3 hours and my leak is now fixed. I could not be happier with the service or the results!

I give Roto-Rooter problem scheduling thumbs up; efficient and quick appointment to assess and resolve a problem is highly essential. Mr. Olu the Plumbing technician was very helpful in assessing and explaining the problem and available options. He is professional and did a good job. The only drawback was the price seemed pricey beyond what l had expected, still feeling the pinch. I appreciated Mr. Olu for calling the Roto-Rotter department to evaluate the damage due to overflow flooding and l was very happy with the cleaning rep Jason Nelson. His approach was very professional and he knew what he was doing. He also assisted with contacting the Home Insurance for the damage Mitigation process. My only disappointment was the Mitigation team. The team did not do a diligent job compared with the Plumbing and Cleaning rep. They did not completely sweep the floor after removing the carpet and in the living area and Kitchen floor tiles. They left nails on the kitchen floor which was rather disappointing to say the least. I cannot wait for the drying equipment to be removed, they are too noisy!!. Would l recommend Roto-Rotter, overall yes l would.

Needless to say, if a Roto Rooter truck is in front of your house, it is not a particularly good day. Because when you get a sewer clog, you can't use your bathrooms, sinks or laundry. BUT THESE ARE THE GUYS TO CALL! These guys showed up within 3 hours of being called, found the sewer line clean-out, and fixed the problem with the awesome Roto-Rooter machine. And this happened on a Sunday, no less. Also, included in the cost is a camera crew, who be coming out tomorrow to determine if the line has settled, has tree root infiltration, or if it was just a soft tissue clog. Finally, and maybe most importantly, after you make an insurance claim, they will run point with the insurance claim adjuster, get an estimate, and remediate the damage for you, Meaning cutting out carpet and bringing out fans, to get started, and then getting an estimate from a specialty contractor to re-build and replace the rest of the damage. It's a turnkey operation, and they make it easy instead you the homeowner needing to become an inurance adjuster and a General Contractor. Can't recommend enough.

I am grateful for Rotor Rooter and the professional job they did in diagnosing and correcting a botched sewer job done by another company. Jeff was great and knew his job. I just wish they had put my beautiful hostas back in the ground and not left them out to die. Also, I needed a summary of what was found and what the other company failed to do in writing. Still haven't received that.

This business charged an $850 FLAT FEE to spend ONE HOUR cleaning our kitchen drain here at work. In the middle of the day on a weekday, non-emergency, no parts needed, with no quote up front. Absolute robbery, I do NOT recommend.

Waste of my time and 729 bucks, the issue was not fixed and basement flooded . First of all they were late even with a two hour window, called them back resending another plumber later today, we shall see what happens

Tony was exceptional! He was very professional and honest about the cost of repair. We were very happy with his service however, we felt that the cost was astronomical! I don't think I'll use them again because of the cost.

My experience with Roto-Rooter was fantastic! The serviceman was able to arrive earlier than my scheduled appt time when I called. Surprised since it's the day before Thanksgiving. (Believe me I was sweatin' it and stressed that after my gas oven broke a couple of weeks ago that I might have no oven for the holiday with a 23 lb turkey in my fridge. Yikes!) Installation was quick and easy - and the serviceman made sure to check all my gas appliances - including my furnace - make sure that it was working properly after having to temporarily shut off the gas. They were also able to work with me on the price which I was not expecting, but really appreciated! I'll definitely use Roto-Rooter again.

Roto-Rooter was great. Waited 5 hours for another company to call me back and when I get tired of that, Roto-rooter had a plumber get back to me as soon as I put my request in with the service desk. He (DAL #2570) arrived when he was supposed to and got the job done quickly. I will use them next time I have an emergency plumbing issue.

Called to have kitchen sink drain pipe adjusted after purchasing a new garbage disposal that was a little to big to fit the existing plumbing. Roto-Rooter sent Michael (3256) out within 2 hours of placing the call even though it was not urgent. Michael was very professional and was able to quickly and efficiently take care of the issue to my extreme satisfaction. The cost for the work vs the time taken and difficulty was maybe a little skewed but when taking into consideration how fast they were able to show up along with how professional and proficient the tech was I would probably use them again for my plumbing needs.

I dealt with a plumbing company last year that charged me a mint to just unfreeze my pipes twice and left a mess, because they took off the insulation and never put it back. Roto-Rooter was prompt about calling me back and sent someone in less than an hour as promised. My plumber was great, knowledgeable, answered questions with a smile and did the work extremely well. I was able to use a coupon to help with the final bill. I will use Roto-Rooter in the future for any further problems with plumbing and would definitely recommend.

My technician Linga 3517 was quick to respond (on site in less than an hour), quick to assess the issue and promptly resolve a blocked main sewer line in no time! I could not have asked for a better technician than Master Plumber Trevor. He was most courteous and patiently answered my many questions with clear explanations. Although initial service call was for a badly clogged kitchen sink, he also found and replaced old, leaking copper piping in basement and replaced it with a more appropriate diameter PVC piping. I was so impressed with his professionalism and capabilities that I have requested him specifically for a future service call re: plumbing prep work for a new washer and dryer in kitchen.

Charley was knowledgeable, and got the job done well. The price was more than i wanted to spend, but needed it done asap. Other companies in comparison were even more expensive and charged a fee to assess problem. I will use Roto Rooter for all serious plumbing needs in future.

Called roto rooter at 330pm for leaks under kitchen sink and they sent someone out by 530pm the same day! The technician's name was Sat and he was EXCELLENT! He did a very thorough job and went above and beyond to explain everything and replace the pipes and seal the leaks. I especially like that roto rooter has a 1-year warranty. Will definitely be calling back should any future plumbing issues arise and will request Sat because he was so great.

The receptionist I spoke to initially was very prompt at getting my technician Robert # 895 to my home. When Robert initially got here and looked at the problem I was having with my clogged injector pump he gave me a fair price to clean the pump out and once payment was made got right to work. Robert was very kind and explained and showed everything to me as it was being done. We needed a rather quick solution after another service supplier checked the problem and couldn't do it because they didn't have the type of heavy duty equipment. The plumber recommended Roto-Rooter. I called and in about an hour Greg Thompson & Ezra Jackson arrived. Thy were very methodically, explained every option and steps of the chosen solution, and did the job in about 3 hours. They were professional, courteous, friendly, and did a very good job. They even cleaned up thoroughly, and Greg suggested a few solution to another smaller problem.Right now, I would recommend them as first priority if one has a serious problem that needs immediate fix.

Purcell 3755 and Daryl 3172 these two guys were amazing. They are very hard workers with great attitudes. They replaced my pipe that was leaking which it was a very hard job that took 11 hours to repair. They worked hard and never complained. Zach and Wes were honest, responsive and understanding techs who went above and beyond for me after a very bad experience with another company. The fees and financing saved us and I can not thank them enough for coming out and spending the day dealing with old janky plumbing and figuring it all out for us so we have a a safe, functional hot water heater.

They cleared the drain, so I'm going to give them credit for that. One year ago they had to replace a drain inside my house. It didn't have the proper slope and support, it clogged yearly and finally broke. They did a great job digging up my floor, replacing the drain, and putting the floor back. Fast forward a year later and the drain is clogged again. Yesterday they sent a tech out to unclog it. I tried to explain the previous work but language barrier keep him from understanding where the clog was. Tech wanted to start at the sink, not the clean out. He spent two hours snaking out 12 feet of open pipe. His first snake broke. Filled the clogged sink up with water again, and then decided to go to the clean out I showed him to start with. I was lucky enough to catch him right before he pulled the clean out cover over and explained to him all that water he put in the pipe was going to come out. Got him a bucket and sure enough out came all the water. He was too impatient to let it come out slow, so he opened the cover more, and got covered in water, as well as my floor. It was the sub pump room, so I didn't care that much, but was disappointed that I had to explain to him how it worked. He broke my clean out cover in the process, and then charged me for a new one. He snaked for another hour, with no luck, he only had to go 8 - 10', with no luck. He then went back to the sink and snaked the 20' to get to the clog, and open it. They are good about trying not to make a mess, and clean up after themselves, but it seems the guy I had, had broken equipment and a poor understanding of how water flows. Paid what he quoted me, (too much), but my guess is prices are that high because it takes them 4 hours to do an hour job. Almost forgot, he had to get his bolt cutters out and cut the lock off his ladder on the truck because he broke his key, that was just kind of funny.

Same day service. Showed me the price of my service from a price list before starting the work. The price did not change after the work was completed. Previously I have had them fix two toilets and put in a garbage disposal all on separate occasions. This time I had them install a leaky kitchen facet and water valve. All good experiences.

We had a major back up in a drain that threatened backing up into the house. Roto Rooter came within an hour and fixed it perfectly. FANTASTIC ! In 40 years of managing rental property I have NEVER HAD SERVICE THIS GOOD. My technician cleaned the floor around the pipes and drains , cleared 3 pipes including an outside clogged drain and even cleared all leaves away from the drain. Highly recommended for any one on a budget looking for an honest plumber. Our water heater was not working and we called another well known area plumber that rhymes with “Ken” first just to be charged a trip fee and given an outrageous diagnostic fee ($$$) without an idea of what the repair cost could end up being after paying the diagnostic fee so we said no thanks them and paid the trip fee. Roto-Rooter came out for free, diagnosed the problem for free, and got the water heater restarted for $75! Highly recommend, our master plumber was Langh, who was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and excellent with his customer service. Mark from Roto Rooter was EXCELLENT!!! Our whole house flooded and Mark was to the rescue. He was very personable and reassuring that everything would be okay. As you can imagine, this situation was devastating and happened right before Christmas. Mark was right there and walked us through the whole process, dealt with our insurance company and checked on us daily. His guys did a phenomenal job and gutted and dryed the entire house within a matter of a week, considering the cold weather. Mark is truly a genuine person and still checks on us to this day (even though his work is done) to make sure that we are okay. Good service people are hard to find, but Mark is truly one of those gems.

Horrible. Never again. They claimed to have repaired my pipe. After repair, they kept coming every 4 - 6 months because sewer kept backing up. After several times, I called another plumber. The camera showed pieces of my cement floor inside the pipe they replaced. Apparently, pieces of cement fell into the pipe when they were replacing it and were NOT removed, the pipe is not connected right and it creates a belly as they call it and - moreover - they did not replace the entire affected pipe - just a little bit of it. I have videos and witnesses. Last time i called them, they wanted to charge me for the camera - just amazing. I am speechless.

Our technician turned up in the allotted window and was very professional, courteous and quick. I did think the fee - for less than 30 minutes - was very high (exorbitant!). But it was the only appointment we could get on the cusp of a holiday weekend.

Living in an older house, we've had to call Roto-rooter several times for plumbing emergencies. They've always responded promptly and usually are out within a couple of hours, even on weekends. The technicians are knowledgeable and the service is great. The price is reasonable.Most recently, our main sewer line was backing up into the house due to roots that had broken the integrity of the line, and needed to be replaced. The excavators came out within 2 days after we signed the contract, and they did an excellent job, even being careful not to disturb a pet memorial that was near the pipe. When they finished, they cleaned up, reseeded the yard with grass seed, and covered it with straw.Next time we need a plumber in Baltimore, we will definitely call Roto-rooter.

Fast, friendly service! Called on a Sunday morning for a leaky gas connection, RotoRooter showed up within 2 hrs on a weekend at no extra charge! Our plumber, Chuck Spidell #737, was very knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly! He explained the problem, and expected charges up front so there were no surprises. He then went above and beyond by checking the gas line behind the stove as well, and tought us how to turn the gas off for future emergencies. Would highly recommend and not hesitate to call Chuck and use RotoRooter in the future!

We contacted Roto-Rooter on a Sunday afternoon, when our kitchen sink was completely blocked, and they sent Robert (895) within 2 hours. He was highly professional, very knowledgeable, and very careful to keep our house clean. Within 90 minutes he was finished, and our drain was working perfectly. Couldn't be more pleased!

It was a holiday and we wound up with what we thought was a clogged toilet and some water coming up through a floor drain. We called Roto Rooter and we wound up with a technician at our house within an hour. The technician, Praiseson Moses #4729, was excellent. He took a look, explained what he was going to do, and then provided us with an estimate based on RR's flat rate pricing. RR's costs are not low, but I do not know how they compare to prices for other services. It turned out that we did not have a clogged toilet but rather a clogged main line and the clog was not close to our house. It tool quite a bit of work on Mr. Moses' part to reach and eventually clear the blockage. He was very pleasant but very focused. He got to work right away and kept at it until he was done, including fully cleaning up the work area, and reinstalling and reseating the toilet. After returning all of his work gear to his truck, Mr. Moses took the time to fully explain the work and what the findings meant. He indicated that part of completion of the job would include him contacting WSSC because the clog was off our property. I've used Roto Rooter's services twice and have been satisfied with the service. In both instances the technicians were knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant.

I had a very pleasant experience with using Roto-Rooter for a leaking water heater. As it was a Sunday, I was having issues finding a 24 hour plumber that had an available appointment that day. Finally, I called Roto-Rooter and got an appointment that very afternoon. Then, to my surprise, they called me back and asked if they could come even earlier. I was delighted as we had had to turn off the water supply. Chuck (#737) our technician, arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem very quickly, and made an inexpensive but effective fix without a lot of fuss. I was very pleased with the service and professionalism. I will definitely be calling them first next time!

We had a badly clogged shower drain - in addition to some other problems that predated our ownership of our condo. We called Rotorooter when our shower was not draining water any longer. Min (#146) arrived within a half hour and set to work. Not only did he fix our clog, he also repaired two leaks and installed new equipment. He did this all in under two hours. He was clearly an expert and we were very happy for his help. It's going to be so nice taking a shower again thanks to Min!

Roto Rooter caused additional water damage to my carpet. They did not set up the equipment properly and the dehumidifier leaked water. In addition, the equipment caused a power outage and my refridgerator in the basement defrosted causing more saturation to the carpet. In addition, I had to get rid of some food items and had to trash my insulin. Also, they provided the home insurance adjuster a fraudalent estimate of work they did not complete. Contacting BBB!

I recently had a backup/ overflow problem in my home. I call Roto-Rooter since they pop-up first online and they had there 24/7 service. The customer service representative told me they would have a technician at my house within the hour. The tech arrived 15 minutes after I got off the phone. I was really surprised on how fast he got to my house. Once he arrived, the tech evaluated the situation and explained to me the options I had. He told me he was gonna do the cheapest option first, then if that didn’t work he was gonna have to do his second option. Which cost more. Luckily his first solution worked. He had everything unclogged within 30 minutes. The tech was very friendly and informative. We then had another representative from there company stop by and explain to us the aftermath damages done to basement. He explained to us how the effected areas need to be removed and replaced. He helped us file a claim with our homeowners insurance as well. The Roto-Rooter clean up team wanted to clean up the same day as well but unfortunately my family had plans. We rescheduled for the next day and everything effect was removed and ready for repairs. This was a very unfortunate situation for me and my family but Roto-Rooter eased the frustration with there service. Thank You!!!

We contacted RR due to our sewage line not draining properly. They sent there tech Joseph (5423) out and he did a great job. He came sooner than the time we were quoted and once he was here went above and beyond with his knowledge and expertise on anything plumbing. He was courteous and willing to answer any question that I had. If we’re ever in need of a plumber again RR will be our first choice and for sure will be requesting Joseph.

The sewer backed up into our basement bathroom late on a Saturday evening. Roto-Rooter sent a technician within an hour of our call, and they worked all night and into the following morning to snake and unclog the main pipe. It was a tough job and Roto-Rooter really came through for us. They were very professional and considerate, and cleaned up everything before leaving. Great job, we would definitely use them again.

Timely and excellent work! When my washer drain line backed up and flooded my entire building I was completely at a loss about what to do. I was referred to Roto Rooter by someone in my building and Jen came out the same day to look at the extent of the damage. She was extremely thorough and explained all the possible ways this could have happened. She was helpful in contacting a plumber to come out later that evening and the rest of the water recovery team the next day. Jacob, the plumber from Roto, was excellent as well. I was surprised at how quickly they dispatched a plumber. He was willing to really get back there and figure out what was the source of the problem. I had a good experience with Joseph (5423), when a pipe in my home broke. It was a big job that needed to be handled quickly. Joseph did a great job of , identifying, explaining, and fixing the problem. He was friendly and thorough. I was very pleased with the service.

We had a leak in both valves of our kitchen sink late on Saturday night. Our plumber, DAL 2570, arrived on time and resolved the problem within an hour afterwards. He was friendly and professional throughout, and the final price was reasonable for a weekend evening emergency call. We are very satisfied.

My mom was charged a ridiculous price of $387 to put in a gas shut off valve on a stove. This took every bit of 30min. A total of $12 for parts. WTH, $375 for labor? SMH

The service technicians who came were excellent and tried to explain the situation. The COMPANY, however, uses a dreadfully unfriendly marketing strategy, does not provide ANY information about potential costs of repairs, and is generally exorbitantly overpriced. We ended up having no choice but to pay the $150 fee, and were grateful to Daekwon and Muhammad for their professionalism. But we COULD NOT agree to the work proposed because of the outrageous pricing, which, again, was NOT mentioned when we called for the service. To be clear: this is a negative review of the COMPANY, but a very POSITIVE review of the two personnel who came to our home. We won't be coming back to Roto Rooter!

Fast, thorough, and efficient! Roto Rooter gave a 2 Hr window for service when the other plumber I called would only give a 4 hour window. Another local plumber never even answered the phone after two days calling. Chan was great, replacing my front garden pipe and tap in an hour and cleaning up quickly. Great plumber!I subtracted one star for Roto Rooter itself - they offer customers a chance at a refund on their service bill if they leave a positive review on a popular review site. Take that as you will as you read through them. The sad thing is that the service was great - shilling for reviews was so unnecessary.They also would not allow me to post it using the account of my choice, and wanted to force me to use my main Google account, which I do not write reviews on. So this review is posted anonymously. I wont be getting a refund, but be aware that many reviewers are hoping they will!

Purcell 3755 was excellent! The day before he came, I had another tech come out and tell me that my problem was on the County side and he couldn't do anything. When the County came out, they told me their line was clear and the problem was on my property. I promptly called Roto Rooter back and they sent out Purcell for a second look. This was a much different experience as he took the time to understand the problem and do everything necessary to help me solve it long term instead of just giving a quick fix. After a rocky start, Roto Rooter came through.

We had a serious bathtub clogging issue last 3yrs (we had been taking out of the water from the tab after every shower manually) and had at least 5 different plumbers last year alone but nobody could fix the problem and told us that replacing the pipe would be the only option.The gentleman from Roto-Rooter checked on our pine and he told us he might be able to unclog the pipe by electric snake.After multiple failure of snake jobs before, I was kind of hesitate first, especially their charge was much higher ($700+ for successful job and about $400 for failure (others never charged for their failures at least)) but he was very confident (told us about his past experience with bad pipe clogs) and explained the job would come with 30 days warranty so we gave a shot.He managed to unclog the pipe within 30 mins and we are back to normal life now after so many years of suffering without pipe replacement. So, it was worth it :-)Lastly, he instructed us how to maintain so that we wouldn't have a clog issue again (e.g., what pipe drainer to use, what to watch, etc), which was very helpful

The toilet repair was completed in a timely manor, but for the service completed the price was too high. I had an issue with the flapper that required a new washer, and sealant. For 15 minutes of work and a $15 washer I was charged $200 (that was with a discount). I have no complaints about the repair or the repairman, but I will not be using Roto-Rooter for any future repairs at this price.

Work still as not been complete after weeks and payment already got taken out. No one call you back in regards to the completion of the job

I had 2 pipes freeze and explode in my home. Within two hours of making the call, Patrick from Water Mitigation/Restoration was there to assess and figure out next steps. Not only did he help guide though what needed to be done immediately, but also answered every single question I had in a patient and thorough manner. The plumber, Jonathan, was there almost immediately and didn't stop until the job was done. He made recommendations and shared great information for ensuring I didn't have this battle with frozen pipes ever again! About 5 hours after my initial call, the cleanup started. The team was exceptional. Professional, thorough, and easy to work with. Josh and Bret worked magic in that house to clean it up and save my newly put in bamboo floors and kitchen cabinets by use of fans, drying mats, and a lot of manual labor to get the water out! Again, exceptional. In such an emergency, you can only pray to find the right people to help... Roto-Rooter sent Patrick, Bret, Josh, and Jonathan to support during this crisis. Prayers answered.

We have an underground drainage system that all of our downspouts and window wells feed into. The system is original to the house from 1953 and was flowing very poorly due to leaves and sand that had gotten into the system from a broken pipe. Even after repairing the broken pipe, the water nearly backed up into our basement after some heavy rain.Roto-Rooter was over within a few hours of my call and water jetted out the entire system, removing an unbelievable amount of debris. They even made some helpful suggestions so keep water out of the basement should the system clog up again in the future. Thanks!

Very attentive and responsive when I unfortunately have had water damage (twice thus far). They offer 24 hour service. Each time their technicians were able to accurately diagnose and repair the issue, and they provide water restoration care when required.

I had an old galvanized pipe under my kitchen sink that literally disintegrated. I had to hold it together with duct tape. I needed this fixed asap, and was surprised that Roto-Rooter had someone here within the hour. Lal (tech# 4595) did an awesome job. He replaced my old galvanized pipe with PVC and also my p-trap. He was very courteous and explained everything needed to fix the job as well as helpful information for future care. The price was very reasonable for the job done (and believe me I called around, and some Plumbing Companies want you to mortgage your home for what they charge.). I was very satisfied with Lal and Roto-Rooter.

I am so grateful to these guys! My basement bathroom toilet flooded last night and the way the previous homeowners installed the piping there was no shut off valve so it leaked for hours. The tech was there in under 3 hours (compared to the 24 - 48 hours my home warranty company was suggesting) and he put a stop to the water and then fixed my toilet so we weren't without water through the night! Also the tech was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing and what he was thinking so I have a good idea on what needs to happen next.

The technician/plumber arrived on time, was courteous, explained pricing and necessary steps. The following day the adjustor came on a day off as I had to work (I am an ER nurse) and then once he followed up with my homeowner insurance we were forced to reschedule based on Allstate's timeline. Two technicians came on Saturday evening to begin the damage control/work; they explained what they were doing and what to expect next. This has been a phenomenal experience in a moment of distress. The Roto Rooter representative that did the service we needed was excellent. He's very efficient, knowledgeable and capable. He took control of the situation, handled it and completed the repair quickly. He helped us to understand what caused the problem in the first place and made sure we were aware of what we needed to do to make sure we were not taken by surprise again. If we need the service again, I would certainly request the same service person.

Service was excellent. I had a faucet that was leaking into the house from a hose faucet. The master plumber explained how the pipe froze and split. And explain to me how to keep the hose on attached during the winter so that's doesn't happen again. I really appreciated his insights and explanation. About 5 years ago the same faucet was installed and the previous technician did not go through the explanation that Roto-Rooter technician did. Very happy with my service from Roto-Rooter.

These guys were a real lifesaver. Imagine if you will... In the midst of a N'oreaster, raining and blowing like heck. Friday morning. Main sewer line is clogged with tree roots, my 85 year old mother visiting, toilets won't flush, wastewater backing up into the tubs, and Hurricane Joaquin bearing down on us. Despite all this, one call explaining my situation and they sent someone down all the way from Annapolis to southern Maryland to get us going again (literally). The technician who came (Robert) was supposed to have Friday off but he was willing to put aside his day of rest to take care of us, particularly impressive as he stood outside in the rain and wind valiantly doing battle with the elements and the sewer line at the same time. An hour after he arrived he had the line cleared out and then took time to discuss options for a more permanent repair solution to the problem versus an intermediate path with root killing chemicals. He was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Scheduling the service via their online interface was also a snap and I had a callback from them very quickly after filling out the form. End to end it was a great experience with them. Well, all except having the problem in the first place but that's not on them. :) I absolutely will use them again when needed, and can easily recommend them to others.

Roto-Rooter was not the first choice but now they will always be my only choice. The first Plumber I call recommended them. (smile) So I had to give them a try. My issue was a clogged main line. First contact was very pleasant, the customer service explained that there will be no charge for them making the assessment no matter what time of the day, weekend or holiday. They gave me a 2 hour window and got there under that time on a weekend. Victor took the time to explain what he had to do to clear the drain. He had a neat appearance and was very professional. The price was very fair and I didn't have to clean a thing. Again if I have anymore issues I will use them again and ask for Victor. Thanks Guys for a Job well done.

The company was very quick in responding.We called very late at night. In less than an hour, one of their plumbers came to our house and fixed the plumbing issue. A few minutes later, a crew member from their medication department (Jamal Byrd) came to explain everything that has to be done in the next couple of days. He answered every question we have and have explained clearly the next step. So far, the service was good.

Everyone was courteous and although the tech was running behind. I received a call with updates on the status. Communication was great. I was also able to schedule online on a Saturday night ( after 9 pm) for a Sunday appointment. This was the first time I used them (hopefully I will not need to use the service again) but if another repair or issue comes up I will dial them first.

Called around to various plumbing companies for assistance with a few issues I was having in my home. The gentleman who answered the phone was friendly and helpful (as opposed to some other companies who answered). I scheduled service for the same day. Within a couple hours after my call, my technician, Robert, was at my home.Robert was extremely professional and courteous. He was patient with my being unfamiliar with plumbing, and shared knowledge and advice that pertained to maintaining my home in good condition. I requested a service call from Roto Rooter online and was able to pick a date/time convenient to me. Phone tech called prior to schedule appt to inform me when service tech would be out at house. The service tech (Rohming) was on time and wore booties within the house without asking. During the service call he explained everything and all costs involved. He was able to complete the work right then and there without another appointment. When he was done he cleaned the area very nicely and hulled away all dirt/mud and old/broken parts. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter and the service tech (Rohming).

I called Roto-Rooter on a Saturday afteroon in hopes maybe I can get someone out to replace my shower and bath faucets during the week. I was surprised when they gave me a time frame of the same day I called. They were able to give me a 4 hour window, and text me not 10 minutes later to say they were on their way! The plumber came, Dal #2570, he explained exactly what he was going to do through out the process. Even took off his shoes to go through my house which I really appreciated. Took him just over an hour to replace the pieces in the wall for my new shower faucet set. It saved me from having my bath remodel delayed and a giant headache trying to do it myself

Len Plumbing was here on a visit right before Min (the Plummer from Roto-Rooter) arrived, Len Plumbing could not fix the problem. I am very happy and satisfaction....excellent customer service!!!!

I had a slow leak from a 3/4 water intake pressure valve in my basement. I was afraid it would get worse quickly. Since it was a Saturday night, I was limited on local plumbers. Roto Rooter came out within 2 hours. I was initially taken back by the charges, but later they called and adjusted the price after we talked. They are to be commended for their customer service, especially since many businesses seem not to want to talk to customers after the sale. They went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied and the job was completed to my satisfaction. I would definitely consider using them again for plumbing issues, and would recommend Roto Rooter.

I called the other night because my tub had completely stopped draining. I attempted to fix it myself whit no success. I called Roto-Rooter and was told please allow one hr for arrivel time. They ehere here in less then 30 min. They came in looked it over took about 20 min of work and the problem was fixed. They where friendly and super helpful. Offering suggestiong to not have the issue again and how to better take care of the plumbing. I was reccomended to them by my father and for good reason. We started using Roto-Rooter after several hit or miss attempts with other plumbing services. Because of the convenience and consistent fix it once and fix it right experience we've received from their service rep Charles (#737) we will continue to use them. We know that things will be done right, professionally, and that we can be assured of a quick response that is as prompt and on time as promised when we schedule the service.

Roto Rooter water restoration went swimmingly. However the plumber pressured us to pay without seeing toilet last night and today we came home from hotel to find that we were charged for toilet seat change labor and toilet seat is same old one (he changed only body of toilet). Also toilet seat is wobbly so not even well installed. And shorter than body of Toto toilet so correct toilet wasn’t ordered. Not sure if he even changed the pipe with broken valve from wall (origin of leak). How do we get this rectified and high cost charged (first quote for labor was $400 then it went to 1,000, when he did less work than written in his own invoice) fixed?

I had a great experience with this company. I had a clog in my underground pipes, that was causing water to push out of a downspout. I called and Keith showed up within 2 hours. He was professional and worked hard. He spent several hours trying to snake the pipes from multiple locations. He eventually hit the clog and got the job done. He explained everything he was doing and kept me updated. Highly recommended.

I will never call Roto Rooter again! EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!! I'm a 1st time home owner and I have a sewer backup from a collasped pipe. Purcell Edwards, I just feel took advantage of the situation and also the fact that I was a new to this situation. I've never experienced anything like that, the smell, the flooding! Mr Edwards, charged me $599, to snake my pipe! He conveniently referred his coworker, Jeff a camera man to come out and put a camera down the pipe to detect if there was a blockage. There was a collasped pipe. He happily and promptly handed me an estimate of $6800! I was totally stunned! That whole experience with Roto Rooter was awful, and on top of all their top rate services my house still smells!! They came out on a Friday, to do the cleanup, they put down these fans to dry it out, the fans had to be in my basement for 3 days. It wasn't a problem for them to accommodate my schedule and come out after I got off work at 6pm, but trying to get them to come get the equipment was a totally different story. Several different people called me about coming to get the equipment, when I called Mindy back to schedule a time for them to come pick it up, her most convenient time would've been 12midnight, and I had to go to work the next morning. We agreed on the following day between 9am and 9:30am, I was off because I had something to do, the technician was late AND they had to finish knocking down some walls! The day before Justin calls me at work to let me know he would be at my house in an half hour to knock down the walls, I was at work, no one called me to schedule that, by then I was sooo done with them alltogether. I was tired of trying to schedule a time that was convenient with them to come out and check the equipment everyday. Ok I was supposed to me with Jamal Bird, the salesperson on Friday, between 7pm and 7:15pm, I got off work at 6pm, I work in Hunt Valley, I got a ride to Sinai hospital, caught an uber home so I would be on time, I managed to get home by 5 of 7pm Mr Bird never showed up AND today is Sunday 8/26 and I still haven't heard from him! I would not recommend Roto Rooter to anyone, I called a different plumbing company, that gave me a much cheaper price work also guaranteed!!!

Roto rooter has sent 3 different technicians to my house. All were thoughtful, prepared, and professional and always got the job done. Highly reccomend this business. Had a new garbage disposal installed and a toilet repair in the last month and these guys are great!

My toilet backed up on a Sunday afternoon, and Roto-Rooter came by the same day. However, after inspecting things, the plumber could not fix it because his snake was broken, and he had to return the next morning.The next morning he took apart the toilet and declared it fixed. He did not need to snake the toilet. He had quoted me a $969 price for the full snaking and everything, but charged me $500ish. Afterwards I noticed some scratches on the bathroom wall where paint had been removed as a result.Less then an hour later the toilet was backed up again. I had to request a return service. They came later the same day (full day out from work now) and this gentleman did snake the toilet. He also charged me the difference between the full snake price (which was in the $700s not 900s like the other roto-rooter guy said) and what was done before so it was only low $200s more. Second guy much better then the first.

Quote to snake a drain was a staggering $729.00 *before* the technician did any sort of assessment. This quickly changed to $364.00 to vacuum food particulate from a garbage disposal for about 5 minutes. Grossly overpriced - go with a local plumber.

We had a flash flood in our area and we needed help as soon as possible.I started calling people and decided to try Roto-Rooter and another company. Sad to say the other company was going to call me back at 7:30am. They never did. I got an appointment with R-Rooter for late in the day, but when I called to check to see if they were able to move me up to an earlier time I was told that they were very busy. The young man I was spoke with was very pleasant and helpful. Apparently very pertinent information had been left off my call. The young man began to ask me about the reason for my call and when I explained myself again he said we will definitely be able to get you help sooner. He added the missing information and I received two calls not long after. I ended up with two guys coming out. The first one wanted to telling me everything that would need to be done and the high price tag, but was not ready to take care of the water need. The second young man must have been responding to the updated information and came prepared to handle what was urgent to me. I just really wanted the same thing my neighbors wanted, which was the water out of our homes. This agent was Desmond #1981and he was just as nice and polite as he could be. He quickly accessed the situation and moved in to action. Yes, my angel and my plumber hero. He had such a pleasant demeanor and showed empathy for us in our situation. He quickly understood what was most important.He also explained what he was doing and why. Last but not least he cleaned up behind himself and was very professional. Called roto-rooter and they came within 2 hours on a Friday night, we had to negotiate the price--I had called my dad who is too far away to fix it, but told us what it should cost--as the plumber tried to upcharge us about $100, but he did a great job, was quick and overall we are glad we called!

Helped me avoid further issues and was very helpful overall

Roto rooter's quality of work is outstanding. They fixed 50 feet of pipe that had several clogs and created a sewage back up. They cleaned out over 100 feet of pipe to make sure it wouldn't happen again. For this large job the price was high but expected---they did a LOT of detective work and they spent 3 days working on it.I also had another of their plumbers replace two u-pipes/traps under our bathroom sinks. They charged us $810.00 for 2 hours of work. THAT is OUTRAGEOUS. I would not choose them for a small job again, because they are expensive. But for a larger job or unsolvable problem they are tremendous and well worth the price.

That technician who came to our home was very kind and professional. It took a while to figure out what the problem was. He continued trying different things until he resolved it. Although it led to a bigger problem due to the design of our home, he also offered many different options to try to solve the bigger problem. He then also gave us a discount. he was great. We would definitely use them again.

Called Roto-Rooter for an obstruction in our main bathroom toilet. Our servicer was in and out in less than 40 minutes and fixed our issue without any trouble. Gave some great recommendations on a new toilet (considering ours is from the 1980s). Will definitely use them again.

Never a fun experience having to call a plumber! Add in stuff overflowing from your toilet and a 3am service call to fix........not fun! Roto-Rooter was the only company I could get a hold of for an immediate service request and call. Although it took 5 hours once I called to get the plumber to the door, they showed up, cleaned up and did a great job in the process. The plumber was very professional and lively even though it was 3am (Greg Thompson). He did a great job, didn't complain and quickly fixed the problem along with a little explanation of what to avoid in the future to ensure this doesn't happen again. I was very pleasantly surprised and will definitely use them again!

They sell their services under one umbrella (resolve issue which caused sewage backup and then remediate) BUT wow it feels like a bunch of contractors that are on different systems and don't actually talk to each other. So it's been 1.5 weeks, work is half complete and they have had zero communication with me or my insurance company. Meanwhile there is clearly visible mold on 2x4s and there is a bag of salt still there that had been covered in sewage. I'm pretty chill about this stuff, but my goodness this has been a little ridiculous.

Great service. Called in the morning and they were able to schedule me for same day service. Called another company who advertises same day service and could only put me on stand-by. They arrived on time and called me 30 minutes before arrival . They quickly isolated the issue and were able to resolve it in one visit. The plumber was very nice and made sure he cleaned and dried everything before he left. I would of given them a loved it but I thought the price was a little high just to replace a bad valve.

The professional was courteous and helpful, but I believe the price is over abusive, they charged me $729 to snake the clogged kitchen sink. I am pretty sure that if you quote somewhere else you will find the same service for half of the price. Do NOT recommend and if you can try any other plumber, it is a Rip-Off! While the technician was friendly, he ultimately didn't complete that job that I needed done. Called regarding installing a new gas range in my kitchen and connecting it to the existing propane line that was previously connected to my old gas range. Additionally, the gas range from the factory was configured for natural gas, it comes with a LP conversion kit. I asked for that to be installed as well. When I spoke with the agent to setup this appointment they made no indication of any issues with these two requests.1) Connect new gas range to existing propane line.2) Convert gas range to LP using provided LP conversion kit.After arriving it seemed if the technician was unprepared for the job. For close to two hours, he tried to connect the gas line only to discover he didn't have the correct fittings for the job. After determining what was needed i went to the hardware store and was able to find the required pieces. He offered to go get the required pieces but told me it would be an additional almost $200 dollars for him to go instead of me. What seems like it would be a simple less than hour job took him over 3 hours.Here is where my frustration and anger went through the roof. After several discussions about the LP conversion, he claimed that the pieces provided for this kit were just extra parts in case one went bad. He clearly didn't understand the job or just didn't want to do it. He then started randomly taking parts off the oven clearly not following the provided instructions in the LP conversion kit. Again, he was adamantly claiming that this conversion was not necessary. Had I not known differently I could have exposed my family to an appliance malfunction and possibly danger. After over an hour of him trying to figure it out he decided he didn't know how to do the job and said he wouldn't be able to complete it.Had I known this from the beginning, I never would have hired this company and would have continued to look for a different company. Rather than being upfront he wasted more than 3 hours of my time and didn't complete the work I had hired this company for. Waste of my time and money when I could have hired a different company to complete this whole job.Recommend others do research and find a plumber that specializes in propane appliances if they have a similar situation.

This place is a scam. The professional was nice but the amount charged is so absurd that 20 minutes of work cost $729. There was nothing really special to do, just a passage through the pipe to remove excess grease. The company does everything to respond quickly and the surprise comes at the end. Unimaginable value and the worst, several reports here in the reviews that if you complain about the value they lower 50%, 70% of the amount initially charged. A shameful company. Stay away from it and look for some professional firm. This company shouldn't exist.

Josh the Roto Rooter tech was professional, he explained why and what he was doing. He carefully protected our house, walls, & floors with a tarp and made sure everything was dry, clean, and operated as it should. I would recommend Roto-Rooter to my friends for sure.

The technician was late. I was told that tech will do the estimate free. That if I didn't like the resolution, I will owe nothing. I wasn't told that there is a standard charge of $335. When I showed him the problem, he smiled and said I'll fix it, like he knew what was causing it. And he started tinkering with the toilet tank. Didn't do any diagnosis. I couldn't tell wherecthe diagnosis ended and actual work was done. He adjusted the water level in the tank and flushed again and again. It seemed it was working. Actually, after flushing 10 times in 10 minutes water just pushed its way through. Then he went outside to write the invoice, and sat in his truck for over 20 minutes. Then I went out to see what was up. He was sitting in his truck on his phone. When I asked, he said so and so was at lunch and he was waiting for him to come back. He took my money and went his merry way. In the evening I just flushed to see if the toilet was working, and IT WAS NOT WORKING. Iwill be calling Roto Rooter again tomorrow and ask them to come back and fix the problem.

He arrived promptly, assessed the damage, and explained the work that needed to be done to ensure that we will not have any residual issues. Bawk (8657) arrived quickly to address the plumbing. He was able to tell us exactly what the problem was and what needed to be done to fix it. I would highly recommend both!

Called them to snake an outdoor drain. The representative initially quoted me over $700 but when I pushed back, was willing to drop the price to $300. After encountering trouble clearing the blockage, he refused to continue to try with other tools unless he was guaranteed $150.00. I understand the reps are paid on commission and have daily quotas but it was handled poorly. He was trying to game me and I felt it.

Came out quickly and did the job fine but it was crazy expensive and he left a big mess despite burning through half a roll of MY paper towels and MY bleach spray. If you’re gonna charge >$700 for a 45 minute job that required no parts, at least bring your own cleaning supplies and clean up well.

Purcell, technician #3755, arrived right on time and greeted promptly and politely. He was very understanding of the situation and did everything he could to find where the leak was coming from and how to fix it while trying to save the owner of the house money and time. He was very cooperative in communicating with the owner of the house via telephone and assuring that there were no other leaks around after completing the job within an hour of finding the problem. Not only was Purcell efficient, but also very friendly . I would highly recommend Purcell and the Roto-Rooter service.

We were cutting off & extending water line pipes, had a super heavy laundry sink from the 1950’s removed, and removed a toilet. Mung was amazing! Professional, Competent, & Efficient!

Roto rooter came to fix my clogged dishwasher line. They were prompt and courteous. However the price was astronomical. If we weren’t desperate, I would not have accepted the price. It was almost $400 for 30 mins of labor. Ouch.

Our Home warranty company dragged a stopped up sewer line into a near flood situation over 24 hours. Our washing machine drain was extremely clogged and water leaked out all over the floor and into the AC vent. I called Roto Rooter this morning and Stan was here by 11am. He quoted the job and unclogged the drain. I needed to run a full load in the washing machine to make sure the drain worked. Stan left and came back 2 hours later, just as he said he would. The washing machine drained perfectly! We purchased a bottle of pipe shield to help prevent further buildup. Stan couldn’t have been more professional. Thank you Roto- Rooter!

Would absolutely recommend to others and would use again if needed for other projects. Great experience and job well done!

Called and Technician Robert-895 was here in less than 30 minutes. We explained main drain was clogged. He proceeded to clean out blockage. We than ran water in the house for maybe 25 minutes no back up. Took less than an hour to do the job He also explained a technician would come out to run a scope in the line to make sure no further issues and job done. Very polite and knowledgeable about what he was doing and explained estimate clearly. Well done and on a Sunday evening too.

They charged over $900 to “repair” my shower to fix a leak, turned out that wasn’t what was causing the leak, and then when we called them they came back creating holes in our ceiling and charged us more money. Will definitely not be using them ever again and do not recommend their services.

I was scheduled for a technician to come to my home from 11AM-1PM. Around 10:45 AM, I received a text message that Thuam was on his way. He arrived just after 11 AM. My kitchen sink was clogged. He ran the water to test it and also checked my utility sink to make sure there were no issues. He explained to me that he would need to clear the kitchen sink line through the trap. He kept his mask on the entire time and wore his booties in the house. He brought his own bucket to catch any water that backed up and his cleaned up after himself. He answered all of my questions with no hesitation which left me confident that the problem would be fixed. Before he left, he ran the water to test the lines and had my look at the job to make sure I was happy. We called Roto Rooter to come out after we had noticed some backup within our house. Roto Rooter was here within a couple hours, and stayed a little over an hour, not only did they clear the path, but they were able to discover that our problem was a root issue in our main line with their camera. They sent an estimator here the very next day to give us a quote on replacing the line. They were efficient in their job, yes it was costly, but so is any other plumbing issue you may face with any other company, but they also stand behind their work. The two gentlemen that came out were very professional and friendly. I definitely would recommend them!

My basement drain began backing up in the middle of a holiday weekend, but the office staff was very helpful and Roto-Rooter's rep, Van, arrived not more than 2 or 2 1/2 hours after my call. He was professional and friendly and explained what he needed to do (snake out my main line all the way out to the street) very clearly. My Mother, who is 97, had a clogged toilet issue. Duane #1312 arrived 20 min. prior to the appointment. After a brief survey of the drain configuration in the basement, Duane gave me 2 options for clearing the problem. The cost difference was about a $50.00. He suggested removing the toilet was the best way. He place drop cloths to protect my floor, found the clog and opened the drain. When finished he disinfected the floor around and under the toilet prior to the reinstall. Duane gave my mother a senior's discount since she was 97 years old. My mother was extremely pleased with his professionalism and the up front costs and more so the care of her home. THANK YOU Duane!

Jeff (#1174) did a great job with clearing our main sewer line. He was happy to answer all questions during this process. It took multiple attempts to clear the line, and he did it just as Derek arrived with the camera for a visual inspection-saving us from an immediate dig. Our cost ($577) included the camera inspection of the line. While this seems high (to me), the cost of not using our indoor plumbing was greater. I would use Roto-Rooter and request Jeff if required in the future.

The service was to clear an outdoor drain line. The technician was superb, courteous and polite, clean and meticulous, and performed the work as requested. The only thing I question are the ridiculous prices charged by Roto-Rooter. A simple line clean that took about an hour is $729 flat-fee. It should have cost about 1/4 of that. I will look elsewhere next time.

Technicians arrived, put on shoe protectors, collected information from me about the problem I was having. They informed me of the cost of the service . They were professional and knowledgeable, was able to identify and complete the repairs in approximately thirty minutes. I found it interesting they stated they did not want a check from me but preferred a credit card. That is why I didn’t rate this transaction higher.

Tommy was terrific and clean. He even removed the toilet so as not to scratch the enamel with the snake. After a bout with a t section, he was able to unclog the drain. While Tommy was great, I was very surprised at the cost of this service, but that is not Tommy's fault. He did a great job, but the job was surprisingly very expensive. I will do this myself next time, at these prices.

Called Roto Rooter for an emergency plumbing job. They came even faster than promised. The tech, David (Tech #2912) was very professional, efficient, knowledgable, nice and organized. I could not be any happier on the work Paul and Rovura did. They were very professional in everything they did. We just bought the house and didn't expect problems so I was not a happy camper. Darryl was friendly. Knew what he was doing. My only gripe is being charged commercial rates. I conduct a business out of the basement in my home but the work I had done had nothing, at all, to do with the business. I had pvc repair and valve replacement for the ice maker line. The part was $29 and the labor was $550, which seems unreasonable to me.

They came out within hours and fixed my major problem. The service man was polite and did offer me a senior citizens discount. He offered to work with me to get it done. He was friendly and knew what he was doing. I would used their service again. Thank you Roto Rooter

Called Roto Rooter when I discovered our sump pump had failed and water was leaking into our basement. They were able to dispatch a plumber very quickly. The plumber 'Van' did an excellent job of diagnosing/explaining/repairing the problem. We were very pleased with the speed of remediating our problem - especially with heavy rain in the forecast!

The service technician, Khai Dal, got to the residence very quickly after calling. He was very friendly and courteous, looked at the issue and told me the steps he’d take to correct it and the cost.He was able to fix the problem relatively quickly, thankfully.

Everyone with Roto-Rooter plumbing & Water cleanup has been wonderful. They were here within an hour after I called and found the problem and immediately went to work when it's resolution . Everyone I interacted with was courteous efficient and knowledgeable . My experience isn't over yet and I fully expect this positive interaction to continue .

We called a plumber to identify the source of a leak happening in the basement. We were given a window of 8am to 12pm for a plumber to arrive at my house, but they did not arrive until about 2:30pm. Upon arrival, the plumber insisted on replacing the O-ring on the toilet where we suspected the leak without looking first. We had just had it replaced and knew it wasn't the source and told him as such. Despite this, the plumber insisted on replacing the O-ring anyway at a cost of $375 to rule it out. Of course, that didn't resolve the leak.The plumber then said he'd have to cut into the wall in the first floor powder room to examine the pipe for potential cracks, which is what we expected from the beginning. While cutting our drywall, he cut too deep and actually cut through the wall into our kitchen behind our kitchen cabinets. We knew he did this because 1) he came out and looked at our kitchen in the middle of his work; 2) there was dust all over our counter top; and 3) there was a wire dangling between the cabinets that was not there before. When we confronted him about this, he denied it entirely, saying the cut was already there and it wasn't his fault. His refusal to accept his mistake was more annoying than the mistake itself. He ultimately did identify a crack in the old iron pipe and replaced the pipe with PVC. We were charged $1,325 for the pipe replacement, which was okay, we just wish we weren't charged the original $375 on top of that for the O-ring. Total cost was $1,700, which doesn't include fixing the massive holes in our drywall.

Ram (Roto Rooter Technician) came two hours after I called for service to unclog my homes main drain. He was knowledgeable and informed me about a course of action if the main drain clogged again. He also informed me about Roto Rooter work warranty and had a team come out so they could run a camera through the plumbing.

The came within an hour of my call, robbed the hell out of me but did a great job and the tech was very professional!!!

I called Roto-Rooter and was immediately connected and a plumber, Delroy came out within 1 hour of my calling and fixed the problem. Water was dripping from one of the toilet water tanks, Delroy explained the problem so that I understood what the problem was. I was very happy with the work he has done and the company's professional standards.

My experience with Rotorooter was excellent. I had a leaking, broken pipe in my basement that needed to be fixed that same night. The company gave me updates on my technician's arrival time constantly and I felt like I was in the loop which I appreciated, especially in such a stressful situation. The technician, Khal, was very efficient and knowledgeable. He was able to fix my problem in a few hours and I felt very confident in his work.

We had root issues in our main drain that required a more significant fix than just a snake. Roto Rooter ended up jackhammering the floor to get to the pipe, installing a bigger cleanout valve, snaking, and then repairing the concrete. They spent extra time talking to my husband and me about repair options, costs, and pros and cons of each option before we moved forward with our decision. On the day of the service, they were punctual, kept everything clean using tarps and containment plastic, and were very friendly and communicative. The service was excellent and I will definitely use Roto Rooter again in the future.

Had a sewage line back up issue that turned out to be a grading issue from when the house was built. It just took 30 years of grease build up to cause a backup. Jerry the estimator was very professional, knowledgeable and extremely patient as he walked me through the process of scoping and explaining the situation. The crew that was assigned for the excavation and repair were also very professional and prudent in their work as they dug down 10 feet and about 20 feet out as they replaced the line. This was all done on a holiday weekend as well. The initial company that came out gave a large estimate. After telling them I’m going with someone else they said they’d match the estimate and provide a lifetime warranty, but why would I go with a company that up-charged from the get go. Roto-Rooter was straightforward from the start and had the best price.

The plumber, Franklin arrived before the time window given to me. He was kind, methodical and very responsible. We have a small basement, and Franklin had to take his machine apart to get it to the clogged bathroom. He cleared the toilet clog and main sewer clog quickly, and cleaned the workspace before he left. We are so happy to have our plumbing back!

Yesterday I cancelled an appointment (absolutely meaningless) with another plumber in the area after waiting almost two hours after the four hour window I was originally given. I then called Roto-Rooter, who in addition to giving me a two hour window the very next morning, confirmed through email. I received a call the next morning and was told someone would be out within the hour. Sure enough, a tech (Chan 1074) promptly arrived, and in short time cleared the blockage in my pipe. He was polite and efficient. This service is excellent and I plan on recommending Roto-Rooter to my neighbors and friends. I would hope not have another plumbing problem but if I do, Roto-Rooter will be the first and only call I will make.

I contacted Roto Rooter to investigate and repair a leak from my 2nd floor hall bathroom. After an hour or so the technician never correctly identified the source of the leak. I was told what he thought it was would be additional charge to open up and fix. The cost for this non service was $375. I later contacted another plumber that came and diagnosed the issue within 10 minutes and it turned out to be a simple 10 minute repair.

I had a toilet overflow on labor day Monday. Robert and his helper were to the house within an hour to fix the issue and had a remediation crew to us the next day. I just had the service from Rotorooter to unclog the drain pipes from my downspouts. The technician was Chan and did a great job - came on time, got right to work after having listened to the issue and resolved the issue after 1h of work. He then attacked the second stoppage and was able to identify that the issue needed a different intervention and recommended Rotorooter to come a fix it in few days. The cost was reasonable and the service really good!Recommended.

Daekwon, the technician and his trainee were very polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I thought I had a clogged shower, which why I called Roto Rooter. Daekwon explained why the excess water in bottom of the shower drain was there and why. He made me feel at ease and graceful for his knowledge and service.

Our technician was Khai Dal #5748 and he absolutely went above and beyond for us! We live in an ancient, poorly built home that brings us a new flavor of trouble every month it seems. I had become very desperate as I had been having sewage issues for the last few months. I needed to get this finally fixed. After calling Roto Rooter, I was told that the call would be dispatched and I should receive service later in the day. Within 2hrs, the Dispatcher called to inform me that the plumbers were on my way. I was greeted by two very friend service men, Jeff #1174 and James #2629. After I explained the issue, they went straight to work. They advised me of the cost and what it all included. Within a short period, the sewage that was backing upon in my basement was cleared and the line was now open. They gave their recommendations before they left and coordinated my next visit to have the line scoped. I totally appreciated the work they did. They impressed me with making sure the area they worked in was cleaned too. Very professional and courteous.

Very detail oriented, knew exactly where to look for the leak even looked in places other plumbing services never even considered or thought of in the area the leak was coming from that was going down to my neighbors ceiling (for example pulled out fridge to look at ice and water filter connection and even swept up all the dust bunnies!). Originally told $650 and a 20 minute fix. Technician broke the shower faucet and parts resulting in them having to drill a hole in the wall. Took 3 days to fix the problem. Couldn’t get through to the manager for longest time, not very responsive. Dispatcher would say a tech is on way and they’d show up 3+ Hours later. Would not recommend. Our technician had to call different technicians because he was not able to fix the problem himself. If you go with this company, request a senior technician to save you the time and headache.

Had an emergency situation happen with our basement toilet overflowingwhich flooded our basement. Called Roto-Rooter, a lovely man by the name of Greg (#8288) came out within a couple hours, checked it out, made a diagnosis and clearly explained what was happening. He also called the county to get someone out quickly to fix the problem. All our questions were answered, we were treated kindly and fairly, and overall it was a very prompt, professional, and pleasant experience. We felt very taken care of and our situation is now under control.

The only reason I didn't give 5 star was that the price was too high! Be aware, this is a very expensive company! The hourly rate for this technician was $280!

Well, be aware that the price you pay isn't determined until they reach your property and then you are practically forced to go with them. The technician quoted me $499 for the service needed. I told him it was more than triple what other plumbers quoted. He immediately dropped the price to $300 which is still more than double other prices. Be careful. If you are on a budget, it's better to wait a few hours longer for the busy plumber. These guys are available immediately for a reason. They were prompt at least. I still sent them away. I would use a bucket in the back yard before spending an extra $350 for nothing.

If I could give Ricky 100 STARS for his excellent work and taking the time beyond what was required to make sure my drain was cleared and working perfectly I would...Ricky is absolutely the BEST!!! There are not many people that would have kept going like Ricky did... Most would have given up on the second try... He did not and I'm so thankful he didn't... There is not much worse than a backed up drain unless it is a backed up drain on the weekend. The plumber I have used in the past could do the work but it would mean taking a day off from work and while they are nice guys it is not the best use of a vacation day. Roto Rooter was by far better than the original company we had come out for our plumbing issues! The first company said they busted through the clog in our main sewer line but couldn't see anything with the camera since there was standing water in the line.... obviously the clogs still there I thought. They didn't run the snake again, gave us a ridiculous quote when they told us our clean out needed to be replaced! We called RotoRooter the next day after not feeling good about the first company....Josue (#3607) came out and upon first glance told us to contact the county cause he didn't want us to spend money since he thought our clogged clean out was on the county. County came out did what they could do but we still had the issue.... called RR back since I liked that they didn't just try to get my money off the bat. Requested Josue again since he answered more questions for us in 15 minutes than the other company's guy did in 1.5 hours. Josue snaked the drain, actually multiple times, even after we knew the water was running through, he snaked it again for good measure. When putting the camera down, found out the culprit was a Verizon line that was punched through our pipe!! After being on the phone with Verizon for what seemed like forever, the RR outdoor tech, Derrick (#4166?) went above and beyond to call Verizon himself while I was getting the runaround and got things straight with them. The drain cleanout with RR was more thorough than the first company and cost less....a plus plus!!! Definitely would recommend them!!!

Called on a Saturday for a clogged drain. They gave me a same day appointment and told me I would receive a call when the technician was on his way. When the technician arrived CDC guidelines were followed for Covid. I showed the technician (Sat) the problem I had a clogged shower drain. He unclogged the drain showed me what he pulled out of the drain and that now the water was draining like it should. He provided great customer service will use them again.

The tech was very thorough explaining what was going on with the plumbing and ensured we understood how to care for the pipes. I was very impressed with Van who came out to fix a stuck snake in a very stubborn sink. He was able to use every trick available to retrieve the snake and also clear the drain for us.I'm extremely glad because other plumbers had given me scary scenarios about cutting drywall, cutting pipes, etc. However Van was able to save the day and now we have a fully functional bathroom.I'll definitely be calling Roto Rooter in the future.

I got my water heater replaced in a day. It was quick. I like Roto-Rooter's faster response and service. The service technician did a good job. But it charges me a lot. I paid $2600. Labor charge was about $1300, which I think still the way more than I expect from local workers, even though the replacement needed extra job that took about one hour. I would have been satisfied if I had paid $800 for the labor charge.Actually, I left a response for their service on web and a manager staff contacted me to reduce the invoice. I got about $ 370 refunded, which is nice.

I was given a quote a few months back for just under $1000 when I scheduled the service for replacing the water heater that is now leaking the people on the phone said it was good for 6 months. then the technician got to my house he then tells us $2300. when I called to ask the office some questions all they tell me is that their prices went up and that their quotes are only good for 30 days then she proceeded to hang up on me. I have left a message for the managers and no return call. We had to have them do the service as we had already been dealing with no Hot water for 2 days. the technician did a good job at my house.

Robert arrived and was very professional and friendly and was quick to find out what my problem was. Unfortunately, my bad news was that the sump pump had to be replaced. The good news is, Robert was able to replace it and very quick in getting the job done and my sump pump working. I was really glad Roto-Rooter was able to send someone out on a Sunday night, otherwise I would have had a flooded basement. We discovered a plumbing problem in the basement last night and had Roto-Rooter come first thing in the morning. Our technician, Chris, was kind, professional, and quick to get the job done. He was great!!! We would definitely work with this company again!

We called for service for the kitchen sink that was leaking. The charge for 30m minutes job of tightening bolts and sealing the leak was $350. When he quoted the price he made it seem like it's a major job and will take all day. Remember Roto-Rooter promised no charge for diagnosing the problem. No new parts were used or installed. When asked if he could change the sink , the repair guy wanted us to pay separately for the fixing the leak and then pay for installing a new sink. Why would you fix a leak and then install a new sink. This is money grabbing at it's worse. Will never use this service again.

Today, had a wonderful experience with the Roto Rooter technician Purcell (#3755; invoice #19520149). He was courteous, professional and honest. He didn't try to up-sale or force us to buy things we didn't need. He explained and demonstrated why the things he was suggesting were important therefore, it made us more comfortable with spending so much money. He was also very knowledgeable in the sump pump system we already had which also gave us confidence in he's abilities. The only thing that I have as a suggestion for him and other technicians is to wear shoe covers to avoid the risk of making a mess on a home owners carpet. To be clear Purcell was very neat and didn't make a mess any where in out house that was unnecessary. I would definitely recommend him and roto rooter to friends in the future.

I ended up not using this service. I should have known something was up when I was told that I would have to pay $148 for the service call. However, that would be waved as long as I had the work done. Why would I have them come out and not have them do the work? Well here’s why -The installation and labor cost were 3 to 4 times more than what I actually paid to buy a garbage disposal and sink. They would not give me a cost upfront. So I paid $148 but will never use the service again. Dissatisfied customer!

We called two places before speaking to Roto-rooter the night a pipe burst attached to our water heater, and they were the only ones that could send someone out that night (~10:00pm when I called). They were able to send someone by within 90 minutes and assess the damage. He was professional and kind, effectively troubleshooted the problem, and made a temporary fix for the evening. He scheduled with us to return the next day to finish the job, and was helpful enough to point out a potential future problem that he fixed as well.The only reason I did not give five stars is due to pricing. I don't know how Roto-rooter compares to others, so it's hard to say if pricing was competitive or not, but it cost $650 for two hours of labor and parts. They do provide 24-hour service, however, so I know that will cost more, and he did a good professional job. Maybe the sticker-shock of the cost relative to the job of changing out two 12-18 inch pipes feels like a lot, but it may just be the cost of doing business.

The gentleman who came to our home was helpful and knowledgeable. While I was frustrated that the services were needed in the first place, I was grateful for how my technician handled the situation.

The technician unclogged the toilet drain, but in the process, flooded 2nd floor bathroom and 1st floor entrance way in the process. The supervisor was quick to arrive and email an estimate to handle the flooding repairs ($2,000-$4,000)

I had a leak in my basement and Min came out to fix it. I also mentioned that my water bill was very high and he found three pipes that had small leaks. He was extremely thorough in examining my home and mitigating the problems. This is the third time Min has come to my home and I will be requesting him every time I have an issue moving forward!

I had an emergency plumbing mishap when the link between my fridge icemaker and my water heater burst. Vura came out and had the line patched incredibly quickly, and promised to come back the next day to finish up the repairs. That was also done quickly and very well, and he stayed to check that everything was working and that after the water had been turned back on, there was no more leaking. The price was kind of expensive, but he did come out at like 10 pm, and was the only person available of the three companies I called, so it was entirely worth it. Absolutely fantastic, can't recommend him enough.

Flush valve in toilet became inoperable; tank didn’t fill up with water after a flush and water continued to run. Had to manually remove the toilet lid and put the flush valve back in place only to have it separate from it’s base after the next flush.Desmond, the tech from RotoRooter, who was at our home last week on another issue explained that the flush valve had broken off from its base. He would look for a replacement part which many times are obsolete or otherwise hard to find. After searching high and low he returned yesterday with a Universal part for our Kohler toilet. It worked! He tested it several times to ensure the part was a good fit…..no problem!!Again, great service, communications between the customer and RotoRooter was superb- we were kept informed of everything once our service request was input into the system. Prompt, efficient, professional service; in addition we received a nice Senior citizen discount!!RotoRooter will be our go- to plumbing company should the need arise in the future. All HVAC issues in a home are expensive to repair, however against their heavily advertised, maybe better financed competition, they are, hands down ,tops in their field and we won’t hesitate to recommend them to other homeowners.

I hired roto rooter to clean a French drain in our yard. The technician completely destroyed the drain, and then charged me hundreds of dollars anyway. I did hear back from management offering a refund, but the refund was never issued. Not sure how this is a professional company. I would avoid rotorooter at all costs.

We had some small roots from a maple tree penetrate and grow into our sewer main like 10 feet from the access pipe. They charged us $729.00 for a simple auger cleaning….I will never be calling roto rooter again unless I just find myself in a position where I simply have too much money than I know what to do with.

Easy to schedule an appointment online. Franklin was early and very professional. He did a great job under some tight quarters replacing our disposal and kitchen faucet. Warranty for 90 days on supplied parts and labor.

Had a complete clog in my bathtub, which is the original tub in a very old townhouse in Washington, DC. Called one plumbing company to come out and snake the drain. First, since I asked for a Saturday appointment, my service window was between 9am and 4pm, which ruined any hopes I had of planning anything during Father's Day weekend. Then, this other company charged a fee to come and tell me that the drain could not be snaked out and needed to be completely replaced and wanted to charge $700 dollars to replace the drain (which was conveniently after seeing that there was copper piping, which is expensive to replace). After seeing such a ridiculous price, I called Roto-Rooter at 11am on a Saturday, who was able to send a plumber out by 1 that same day! My plumber, Van, was extremely polite and understanding of my situation. He gave me different options for fixing my drain, and actually was able to snake it out (obviously the most cost effective option).

Company came out to clean sump pump water backup. Once the job was started i was unable to contact anyone to finish the job. I went 5 days without hearing from anyone with equipment still in my home.

I am so please with the professionalism and work preformed by Greg when we called Roto-Rooter. They don't charge extra for a weekend call and he was even able to come earlier than scheduled which was great.We just had problems with another company whose work performance and ethics were not up to standard and was actually unable to replace the toilet properly after installing replacement vinyl flooring.Having Greg come in and asses the problem and repair it within the hour was like a breath of fresh air. Our toilet wouldn't flush overnight and using a plunger didn't help. Their plumber Delroy arrived 15 minutes earlier than the expected 10-12 timeframe and unclogged the drain pipe and re-mounted our toilet with a new wax ring seal. He was very professional, friendly, and courteous. The total cost even came in lower than we expected it would probably be.

There was excellent communication on when he would arrive and overall we are very pleased with the work and then manner in which Kenny conducted himself.

I was traveling and my son called me regarding the toilet being clogged. He called Roto-Rooter and the technician called me. He at first thought our septic tank was full. I explained that it was emptied recently so that was not possible. He said he still thought it was full but then said he would snake the line and quoted me a price of over $700 (I think $749). I expressed surprise at that price as in my experience snaking usually costs about/maybe $200. He replied that maybe local plumbers charge that but that big companies like Roto-Rooter charge a lot more and that if he didn't snake anything he would charge me his hourly rate of $375. I asked if the pump in the basement was the issue but he said that was working fine (I had replaced the pump a year ago). He then suggested he should cut a pipe behind the toilet and he could snake that. I asked him to not cut any pipes, not do any further work, and to leave my home. I called another plumber who came out, immediately realized the pump wasn't working properly, and replaced/fixed it.

Would not use again. The actual people who came to my house but dispatch was so bad. We asked for a plumber through the 24-7 emergency service and it took over 24 hours for them to come. There was miscommunications every step of the way. The first plumber did not even fix the problem and we had to have a second plumber out. It was incredibly hard to get in contact with them.

This is the second time I've called Roto Rooter, last week's call was for my personal residence and to my amazement the manager was able to dispatch someone within the hour. Of course I had already self diagnosed the problem (or so I thought) and anticipated a tremendous expense. 'Min' the RR Plumber, arrived as scheduled, looked at related systems and to my pleasant surprise the problem was much simpler than I feared.He was so calm, ever so thorough, gave the opportunity to test and check over and over, advised on what not to do and what to do to ensure the system operates smoothly.I have encountered some horrible contractors and servicemen lately, but this representative was thoroughly professional in every respect, I will most certainly call Roto Rooter for future plumbing and drain related projects.

This did not end well. After 5 attempts to clear my line, following 5 overflows of toilet sewage in my basement, RotoRooter sent a senior technician who identified the issue. However, RotoRooter insisted on getting additional payments to do the final clean-out, and actually left my home after arriving and me insisting on completing the job. The issue is the technicians operate as independent contractors so providing warranty service is a difficult thing to manage since each technician needs payment for the services they render. Would not use them again as the warranty is useless.

Had an issue with a toilet that was leaking all over the floor and needed immediate help. Called Roto Rooter and they were ready to get there as soon as it was convenient for me and showed up on time and ready to go. We had an unexpected leak and called the Roto-Rooter Team. They were out here in an hour or so. They tracked down the leak, and began repairs. Meanwhile the cleanup team came out and set up everything we needed to dry everything out. The plumber (Franklin) was outstanding. He had a difficult challenge given the way the piping was originally run. He had to engineer a solution that would work, and he did an amazing job. While I recommend the entire team, I cannot say enough good things about Franklin and his plumbing skills!

The service tech arrived 2 hours late for my appointment. While snaking my drain, he flooded my kitchen with water. He caught an attitude with me saying it wasn't his fault, this had never happened to him before. He then went as far as to blame my husband for flooding my kitchen. He offered water restoration service at my expense. He then told me that the water was no big deal, and that I had prior water damage. I informed him that my kitchen tile was brand new and the water had leaked under the cabinets where I could not clean. He then told me I should pay for the water restoration if it was a problem. I called the dispatch to speak with a manager twice, and still haven't received a phone call back.Totally unprofessional, and I spent the rest of my evening cleaning up his mess without even an apology for what had happened. Instead, he blamed me for the flood!I will never use or recommend this company again. The price was also twice what I have normally paid to have my kitchen sink unclogged, and I was left with a giant mess, and not even a return call from management.

Purcell 3755Mr. Purcell was extremely helpful and patient. When the leak was not easily located, he took his time, checking each water source to find out where the leak was coming from and how it could be fixed. One he found the source, he told me where the water was coming from and described in detail how the problem could be fixed. He was excellent!!! Thanks so much for sending him.

Had an issue with basement bathroom sink train and floor drain. Arjan our plumber was prompt and very respectful. He gave an estimate and explain every issue with my husband about the issues and suggested what we could do for the floor drain as it could not be fully unclogged. Husband and I will discus the suggestion given for this and will move forward at a later date. The bathroom drain was fixed and hopefully. no more problems there. If needed and Arjan is still with Roto-Rooter, I will request his services. Thank you.

The man came to my condo and tried to charge us $729 for a quick fix of using an auger on the sink. I said no and within two minutes he said he could knock off some money and do it for $580. I had a super from another building do it for $50. And it took him 5 minutes. Use them for the free estimate and then get someone real to finish the job.

Jeff was on time professional and very transparent. He answered all my questions and was very helpful I’m asking for him again if I need ROTO again.

Despite a high volume of customers at the time, the office was able to schedule a repair within 24 hours and complete the job within 24 hours. (We had to shut off our water.) Jeffrey who was assigned the job was friendly, quick to complete the job and resolved the issue while maintaining a clean workspace.

Andrew (1492) has been so helpful during our renovation. Our budget is tight and he has made great suggestions for how to save money while still fixing everything the right way. Hes made a stressful situation easier which is so appreciated! I would definitely hire him again and recommend him!

We had the very definition of a plumbing emergency with our main sewer line clogged and sewage coming out of our basement toilet. At 11pm no less. Roto-Rooter had a technician out to us in 30 mins. I can't speak highly enough of Maung, technician #4811. He had the problem diagnosed and fixed professionally and competently in short order. I will be calling Roto-Rooter first for any plumbing problems.

This review is for two technicians: Purcell 3755& Cung 5511. We had a major backup on our main line. Our landlord is a piece of work — I’m talking VERY limited in his willingness to do any repairs at all. He has left us without water for 4 days before. Purcell and Cung were so helpful and patient with him, even though he literally haggled prices on the phone with them for a good 15 minutes. Even though my landlord was being wholly unreasonable and crazy, Purcell remained calm and offered the best customer service. He is a better man than I. I would have hung up on my idiot landlord. Anyway, they did a great job. Friendly, professional, and very helpful. They explained everything and cleaned up before they left. I would definitely reccomend this duo again!

Technician not resolved the problem and quota a huge replacement charge fee more than $3,000 labor in estimate but not including materials. Finally I had another contractor came in to check the problem and he found the one valve not promptly turn off so the pump can not have enough power to provide the water pressure. Once turn off that valve the pump is working normally. I think your technician needs to check the problem detailed than before. Whatever I had to pay $200 to the guy in spite he did not do anything and this company said free estimation but actually not free.

After another plumbing company cancelled on me last minute - Roto-Rooter was there in 30 minutes of me calling (even on a Sunday) and they were fantastic. Van Vura was the person that came to my house and he was efficient, hard-working, and upfront with me on all of the costs/what he was doing. The price I paid was extremely reasonable and the issue is completely resolved. I will definitely be using Roto-Rooter again in the future if needed. I can't thank Van enough for his help.

Had a clogged utility sink. Liked the convenience of online scheduling. Was able to make an appointment for the next morning and was given a two hour window. Was given a call letting me know when to expect the service man to arrive, within an hour, and he arrived right on time, which was about 30 minutes into the 2 hour window I was given. Charley (3205) was very nice, explained everything, and fixed the problem in about an hour. Waste line was snaked and no work on the main line was required. He was considerate of my home, and cleaned up after he was done. The only thing keeping me from giving Roto-Rooter 5 stars was the cost. Cost for an hour's work - nearly $500.

The service man was here in the allotted time frame. He was extremely friendly. He explained the reason for the clog and gave me information about pipe maintenance. He gave me the price up front which I felt was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Roto Rooter to others.

Purcell was amazing! I had a horrible 24 hour period- I got the run around from my homeowners insurance, they had mitigation come out before the plumber and it was just a very frustrating. Once I finally got the ok from my insurance to call the plumber Roto-Rooter sent Purcell and everything went smoothly. He had the sump pump installed in a short amount of time and was wonderful. He even noticed several things that the mitigation company that my insurance send had missed. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter and in particular Purcell.

I was generally very pleased with the service I received from Roto Rooter. I was able to schedule a same day appointment over the phone in minutes. The service technicians showed up within the designated time window and were very professional and frank about the cost of the service. Once everything was agreed, they completed the requested maintenance in short order and then fully explained everything that had been done. The cost was a bit higher than I would have liked, but the work was done same day and it was also done to my complete satisfaction. The technicians were Greg (8288) and Ezra (4305) and I would recommend them very highly.

The very best plumbing experience we have ever had! We were wanting to get a toilet replaced. Several other plumbing companies came in, and all said they couldn't do it without ripping up the entire bathroom floor.Sat Gin of Roto Rooter came in, looked at the job and in 30 seconds said he could do it no problem. He never mentioned having to rip up the floor. He replaced the toilet in a record amount of time and on top of everything, gave me a huge discount. Roto-Rooters pricing scheme is ridiculous. $600 for the same job even though my problem ended up being incredibly easy and fast to solve. I would discourage others from calling unless it was a middle of the night emergency.

The tank on our upstairs bathroom cracked and dumped water on the floor and eventually through to our kitchen/dining area. Called Roto-Rooter and with 2 hours had someone their to replace the toilet and begin water damage assessment. I chose RotoRooter to replace my original 90 year old sewer line because of their great reviews and they lived up to their reputation! Our estimator Doug Pope was friendly and professional. He came out at least three times - to provide the estimate, to camera and mark the line and then to get a deposit and answer my questions and alleviate my concerns (which he also did by phone several times too.) The work crew Alan Prince and Nick Hofmann showed up on time, answered my questions and went to work. I interrupted them several times throughout the day to ask questions or voice my concerns. Our property is very close to our neighbors and I was concerned that they might dig up or run over their flower garden. They were so careful to avoid the garden, both of our houses, the neighbor's car and other obstacles. No easy feat since it's a very tight space! (The backhoe driver has excellent precision and great skill!) There was one minor snafu - a miscommunication about how much line was to be replaced. They weren't going to replace the line from the house out to the long line that runs parallel to the house. However, once I brought it to their attention, they were quick to accommodate without attitude or complaint. I'm amazed at how quickly this whole process unfolds - from digging up the entire side yard down 6 feet, laying pipe and then putting it all back together again. They were very good about cleaning everything up and the lawn doesn't look nearly as bad as I thought it would, which was one of my biggest concerns. Well done!

On 10/16/2017 at about 6:15 P.M. I called Roto-Rooter for plumbing helpto replace a cutoff value and hook up the water line to a new dishwasher. I was told to expect someone between 6:30 and 10:30 that night. Less than a half hour later I got a call saying the plumber was on his way. Plumber #710, Khui sic., arrived shortly after. He assessed the problem and in less than an hour replaced the valve and hooked up the water line. NO LEAKS! His work and attitude were excellent. I highly recommend his service and Roto-Rooter.

One of the only TRULY 24/7 shops around. We had an emergency service call, and their technician came out at midnight to clear a clogged sewer main line when I had 10 people staying over. The clean-up crew was here the very next day. The only downside is the price, which was high even for emergency services. But we judged the timeliness and piece of mind to be worth it. Everyone we worked with has been super friendly and helpful!

The technician was fine, courteous and efficient. No problem with his service. Took him a maximum of 45 minutes of his labor to snake out the clogged drain using his machine. No parts replaced. He also put a mesh over the storm drain. However I thought the price was outrageously high (over $700. for a 45 minute service call). I don't know your pricing structure or the going rate for this service. But I will surely do price comparisons with different companies before I call again.

We had flooding in the basement when our old sump pump stopped working. The customer service was impressive from the first phone call to updates as to when the tech would be there. The tech was nice enough, but had a very thick accent (no judgement - just hard to communicate) which made communication difficult. He did the work promptly and all seemed ok. However, a few nights later I woke up to check on it in heavy rain and I found steaming water, heat rising from the grate, and a hot electric cord. We called right away and requested another tech. He was was sent out right away and corrected the problem. The sump pump was not placed to the right level to pump the water. I would give the customer service and the second tech 5 Stars. The first tech brought my rating down.

Plumber Lal (2036 --On Thursday, my husband noticed water coming into the basement, I called Roto Rooter around 1130pm, left a message and within minutes I received a call from a supervisor to confirm our need for service and he said the plumber would be here in 30mins. Lal arrived exactly on time and began his assessment. Lal was very thorough, he asked some questions and identified the problem within minutes. Sump pump failure. Lal made my husband and I feel at ease because he seemed to be very knowledgeable of the situation and what was needed to fix it. Lal replaced the pump and even gave us suggestions going forward. Great service from both Lal and the company. I was referred to Roto Rooter by a friend. I contacted them on today and Purcell and Josh arrived within ten minutes. Both my kitchen and basement bathroom pipes were leaking and they fixed the job within thirty minutes. The cost was very affordable as well. I contacted a private plumbing contractor today who was actually going to charge me an emergency price. Fortunately, Roto Rooter does not have any emergency prices and are on call 24 hours a day. The service was quick, affordable and both Josh and Purcell provided great customer service. I will definitely call them again. Thanks Roto Rooter!

Extremely pleased with the service I received. Called for service and the service tech was here within 2 hours. Jeff (tech #1174) was very pleasant and professional and went above and beyond my expectations, including looking into a couple of other concerns I had and offered to repair a couple of minor things free of charge. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter and Jeff and plan to use their services for now on.

The plumber/technician was on time and very professional. He diagnosed the problem and preformed the repair in a timely manner. He provided me with a few suggestions to help prevent the situation from reoccurring. He explained the billing and any warranty on the repair. He was friendly but respectful particularly since my husband had a recent hospitalization and couldn’t walk around the property very much to locate clean out pipes etc. Franklin did a good job.

I would recommend and refer Mr. Larry from the Roto Rooter company because of the excellent service provided in repairing our toilet issue, we were told by previous plumber that our toilet needed a replacement but RR plumber was able to repair our existing toilet without needing to purchase a new one. The plumber came to our home on the same day worked in a timely fashion especially being two days before the thanksgiving holiday and he was extremely knowledgeable and sanitary while respecting our property.

The technician I had was fantastic, timely, professional, very polite and very honest. Would use him again, though I will say that Roto rooters rates are pretty outrageous. A disposal replacement cost hundreds more than I was quoted from other handymen or plumbers, but RR was the only place that could meet my needs immediately.

The tech didn’t show up in the morning like they were supposed to. I spent hours on hold trying to to figure out when and if they were coming. My Roomate has to leave at 4, several hours after they were supposed to be there, so I had to reschedule service for 7-10 pm. Didn’t show in that window again, so I spent over an hour on hold again. Kept getting the run around all day. The tech finally showed at 1:30 am, 17 hours after the original window began. He quoted me $600 for a clogged kitchen drain, but gave me a “discount” to $400. I was exhausted at that time and felt like my hands were tied, so I told him to proceed. I feel so taken advantage of, really disappointed.

I needed my kitchen drain cleaned out. The back up went into my utility sink in the basement and no where else. The clean out pipe was next to the utility sink.I called there number at 7:30am and got an appointment between 8:00am-10:00am the same day(Great). I asked what there rate was but they do not give out pricing until the technician arrives and he would let me know how much, if I didn't like the amount it would cost he would just leave(Not Great).The technician arrived about 8:40am and assessed the problem. He looked up the pricing on a predetermined price list that said to clean out a kitchen drain pipe would be $726.00, he said he could give me a $75.00 Discount.Wow!!!! Blew my might.They could have said that on the phone call up front since they have a predetermined price sheet for many different scenarios.I guess I could have called around for better pricing or maybe rented a drain cleaner from Home Depot for $36.00 a day.Unfortunately, I paid the price and had him do the work. The technician was there 8:40am to 9:50am. (VERY EXSPENSIVE FOR 1 HOURS WORTH OF WORK).The response time and professionalism of the technicianwas good, but there pricing is way to much.They need to let there customers know pricing up front since they have a predetermined price sheet.SO, IF YOU CALL AND ASK FOR PRICING MAKE SURE YOU GET ONE WHILE YOUR ON THE PHONE AT LEAST YOU COULD HAVE SOMETHING TO COMPARE OTHER LESSER PRICED PROFESSIONAL PLUMBERS.

Plumber claimed we were pouring grease down a drain in a house that has been vacant for over three months. $850 to snake a drain. I am out of State and need to sell the house so I was over a barrel. They knew it and took advantage of it.

FNU was our technician and he was great. The toilet tank was overflowing with water and he fixed it correctly.

Everyone was wonderful, From the young lady that I spoke to on the phone to the 2 plumbers that showed up here at my house to do the work.I called and explained that I had a drainage problem in which when I flushed my toilet all the sewage had backed up into my bathtub. The young lady on the phone explained their process to me in great detail so there would be no questions and she had dispatched a plumber to my home right away. The plumbers arrived within 1 hour of me calling.Upon arrival the plumbers assessed the problem, told me what they would have to do and gave me a detailed estimate. They were professional, polite and very courteous. They great care in making sure they put down protection around the work site. They did a great job I can't thank them enough.

Bryan was very professional and efficient. He replaced our leaky shower diverter on Sunday with difficult access, and sealed and cleaned everything afterwards. Will definitely used Roto-Rooter again if needed. They also replaced our main water supply line six years ago and did an excellent job as well.

Franklin removed the cap on the main sewer line to gain access after other plumbers tried but couldn’t.

The technician came out for an emergency in our home late at night on a weekend. He was very understanding, got there in a timely fashion and handled the call with professionalism. My family and I just moved into a new home and the previous owner shut the water off. We didn't notice this until the night before and we had a cleaning company coming by the next morning and needed the water on so they could work.I called Roto-Rooter and they were professional with me all the way from the phone call to the actual plumber who showed up to my home. They were honest with me up front by letting me know how long it would take for a plumber to come out to our home and they'd call me throughout the waiting period to give me an update.When the plumber arrived, he was also very professional. His name was Vura and all in one night he got my water turned one, fixed my low pressure water sink in the master bathroom, and fixed the leak to my water heater. He was speedy with these fixes as he was at my home all of 20 minutes and fixed all my major issues.

They arrived in less than 2 hrs. Ricky seemed smart and knowledgeable. Cleared the clog of our main drain line. All good, but did cost over $900

We had a plumbing emergency Friday evening the day after thanksgiving. Hunting around I found roto-rooter and wasn't sure how fast they could come out but figured I'd give it a try. Not only did they answer the phone, someone was at my house within an hour - even a second person (supervisor) called me and came by. All along the way I received status calls from dispatch, from the supervisor, etc. Problem took about an hour and a half to fix. Technician, supervisor, and dispatch folks were extremely professional and solved the problem - keeping us from having backed up sewage all weekend. Very grateful for the professional folks at Roto-Rooter for solving this problem so fast. I won't hesitate to call them again for any plumbing needs based on this experience - not for a second.

This was the first time I'be needed to call on them for help and although a little pricey, they did a quick and thorough job without fail. I couldn't believe that I placed a call to them at 9:30am to inquire about service and the issue was resolved and technician on to his next job before 2pm same day. Thanks to their great communication on appointment times, I missed less then an hours work between meeting technician, repairing clogged line, and mess cleaned up and headed back to work. They will be my first call in the future for anything I cant handle plumbing wise.

All service specialists were prompt and thorough. The work was done with such amazing quality and in a timely manner. Everything was explained to me so I could understand. I was shown all problems, damage, and repairs. I highly recommend them. I will be calling on them for future repairs.

Was charged over 1000$ to replace a cartridge and shower handle trim. Btw my shower is still not fixed said I need to knock my tiles out to completely change my diverter had to shut the water off to the shower myself bc he didn’t feel comfortable turning it off. Something that should of taken an 1 hour took 5 hours

We came home from vacation on a Sunday evening to find our hot water heater had leaked and flooded the basement. I called Roto-Rooter and spoke to someone about coming out the next day. Someone came over Monday morning and gave me an estimate on a new hot water heater. He went and picked it up and installed it. The same day a crew came in with fans to dry the carpet and walls. The only complaint I have is they could have cut up the carpet a little neater. The carpet was only 2 weeks old and they chopped it up so when we had the carpet repaired you can see where it was cut. The drying crew came out every day for 4 days to check the status. Everyone was very nice and professional. I would use them again.

At 3am almost 50% of the ceiling in my daughter’s room caved in. By 10:40am that morning the leak was fixed!

Outstanding Roto Rooter service from “James” yesterday. He spent 1 1/2 hours snaking my underground rainwater PVC pipes. Nothing was broken so he felt there should be no charge. It is so refreshing to meet a kind, polite, and honest person today.Roto Rooter promised a free inspection when I made the appointment. But working in the hot July sun for one and a half hours, I expected a charge.You can bet I’ll be calling Roto Rooter in the future for any plumbing needs. They stick by their promises!

We arrived home after a family event to a backed up sewer system. After calling several places that could not help us on the weekend, we called Roto-Rooter and within one hour they arrived at our home. The technician, Mr. Zam Piang dilligently and thoroughly evaluated the situation and resolved the issue for us immediately. I am very pleased with DaQuan (I hope I am spelling his name correctly). He was very professional and generally concerned about his work performance. My hot water heater seems to be working fine, although it was just installed yesterday: 01/25/22.

Had an issue with a toilet clog backing up into my bathtub. I was able to get an appointment within two hours of calling. Received friendly and professional service that quickly addressed the issue. The only drawback was the price. It was pretty steep (about $700) but I paid it because I was in a bind. I'll probably ask more questions next time.

We had some inexperienced, unproductive technicians come to our house from 4:30 pm until 11 o’clock at night the Saturday before Super Bowl Sunday to unblock the line running from the house to the road and after 6 hours - they still could not finish the job!!Never once did they update us on the status until we asked at 9:15 pm and we were told that they couldn’t get the pipe from the house to the street unblocked and they were going to try another approach.At 10:15 pm I finally called Roto Rooter to tell them that I wanted the tech to leave (one of them left around 9:15 pm) and come back and finish the next day so we could finally go to bed. We were told that a manager would call us in the morning and schedule some technicians to come - but that never happened. We called them around 10:00 am and they said we had a service scheduled for 2:00 pm (Super Bowl Sunday). We said that was too late but that’s all they had available - so we said okay.They were supposed to be at our house at 2:00 pm. No one called and no one showed up. We were livid!!! So we called them at 4:30 P.m. to complain. No apologies for no one showing up or anything we had experienced. They said that they would send someone but we already had to change plans from having the Super Bowl party at our house, to someone else hosting it. We scheduled the service for 8:00 am Monday morning. Two technicians actually showed up this time and unblocked the pipe within about an hourThe first set of techs were inexperienced and just milked it for the overtime. Customer service was almost nonexistent and after putting up with all of this, they were going to try to charge us extra because we have a long driveway (they quoted us a flat rate) - we will never use Roto Rooter again!!!! Also, the first two techs did none of the COVID precautionary things that they advertised.

A plumber came out with a ticket for an issue I didn't have. Regardless, he came down to take a look at the issue of my washer drain hose not being connected to anything and draining onto the floor. He used my zip tie to tie the drain hose to the sink. The only reason I didn't do that already was because I thought there would be a better way. He never gave me an estimate for the work before doing it, and suddenly charged me $290 for 10 minutes of work that I was going to do anyway. It's a disgrace to hide your prices like this. I also was hoping he could advise me on what to do to handle cleanup of the water damage, but he ignored my question. On top of everything, he didn't even test to see if the solution worked. Just a terrible experience all around. I will tell my friends and family to avoid this company.Update: The plumber actually made my issue worse and I had to undo his work. His zip tie cut off the drainage of my AC condensate. So I essentially had to pay $290 for no service.

Very happy with the prompt and courteous service. The water remediation specialist (Jason Nelson) came within an hour of me calling, answered all my questions and explained in detail what will take place. His 2-men crew arrived shortly thereafter and expeditiously proceeded to pump water out of my basement. A little before that, the plumber (BT - #1079) came and in no time replaced my sump pump.Everyone was very nice, careful and considerate.

Roto rooter administrative assistant Marissa was very unprofessional and has a very disrespectful tone .I literally had a debate over the phone about the bad service from plumber Delroy #2386 and his manager Joseph (joe) of Maryland has been tap dancing around giving me a refund and told me he’d have the plumber Delroy to call and talk about it when corporate said that that’s the managers job. Delroy told me my sump pump was bad and smoking that’s why he replaced it , but recently I had another professional come check my sump pump and it still works fine. I wouldn’t recommend Roto rooter .

We had been given the runaround with delivery service from Home Depot for a dishwasher. Fast forward almost a month after ordering and Roto Router came out to look at our pipes. Turns out that we had corroded pipes under the sink and on the main water valve into the house. Trevor was able to come back less than 36 hours later, replace the piping that needed work, install a new garbage disposal and the preordered dishwasher! He was friendly, quick, and explained everything that he was doing and why is was being done! We will never use any other company for work again! Thanks for the great service!

This is the second time I have used the service. What I appreciate about them the most is how quickly you can get an appointment. In my case, same-day service on a Saturday after my kitchen sink backed up. The other thing I appreciated about my technician, Shawn, is he cleaned up the area well and even put everything back into the cabinet under the sink. It was a messy job, but he left the kitchen cleaner than when he arrived.

We recently had a toilet overflow on a Friday night. We called several plumbers and Roto-Rooter was the only one willing and able to come service the issue. Purcell (#3755) showed up to our house from Baltimore City around 11:15pm. He was courteous, professional, and explained everything he was doing. He was clear about the charge for services, and when he couldn't relieve the clog, he called in Derrick (#4166) the next day to use a camera in the line to figure out what was causing the problem.Saturday morning, Jason (#1599) arrived from Frederick (about 1.5 hrs away) and started talking us through the water mitigation steps needed to repair the damage. Bret (#4707) arrived soon after to begin working on the floor, walls, and vents that were affected by the overflow. Bret also came back within the allotted time to monitor the dry-out process of our floors. He also kept as much flooring and drywall intact as he could.In the end, they had to dig through the concrete in our back room and cut open our pipe to find nothing other than a vintage-looking diecast toy car that was lodged in the bend of the line. It was less than 72 hours from when we first had a plumbing issue to when we were able to get back to normal living conditions. Everyone we spoke with was nothing but professional and transparent about the services they were providing, and they worked with our insurance as well.They all cleaned up the area as they went. We also appreciate the advice given to us about maintaining our home - we are first time homeowners and someone could have easily taken advantage of our lack of knowledge.We highly recommend all of these professionals. It is clear that they care about their customers.

Chris Jones 7932 was my technician and his bedside manners to his patience and willing to be straight forward and go above and beyond was an awesome experience for me. The meter Yolk had to be replaced in our property and Chris went to 4 different suppliers before ending back at the county (who still refuses liability) to purchase to item from them and replaced and repaired the damaged item right away. Recently my sewer line backed up, Roto-Rooter sent out Greg Thompson after normal working hours, he was prompt polite and professional. He explained that I didn’t have a simple clog but I have a possible broken pipe due to roots. He placed a call to a coworker to get them to come out early the next day for a second look at the situation and to work up a proposal after the remaining water drains down, to get the repair process started. Purcell, #3755 was absolutely awesome! Our hot water heater went up and he responded promptly with a great attitude (even thought it was in the evening). He spent almost 7 hours completing the task, and he did a great job. He even made a trip to Home Depot to get a part that he didn’t have - in order to make sure the job was done correctly. It was great talking to him, too. He’s an extremely nice guy, and he knows his stuff! He was exceptional.

We had an apparently difficult clog to clear. One technician worked on it for four hours in the evening and said they had to send someone else out who came the following morning and was also here for four hours. They were determined to find and clear the clog and finally did. The second technician explained everything and was very clear. I was not charged for the first four hours of work since they were not successful. We got an excellent result after many hours. I would highly recommend RotoRooter. They also were able to send a technician out very quickly which I appreciated.

I called Roto Rooter at 9PM to fix an emergency sewer line backup that was flooding my 1st floor bathroom. They had someone onsite in just over an hour. Conrad was awesome. He was quick, courtesy, and answered all of my questions. Because he had easy access to an outside drain cleanout, he was done in less than 45 minutes, and my drains worked like new. I called because of a leak in my kitchen sink. One service company could not get to us for at least a week. Roto-Rooter promised me a service call within 3 hours. They could not give an estimate over the phone but said that it was a free estimate and I was under no obligation to have the work done. The technician, Josue, showed up promptly and was extremely helpful. He gave me an idea of what was wrong and quoted the price. I accepted and the work was started immediately. He was quick, efficient, and competent. He tested for further leaks after he fixed it. I would definitely recommend them to all.

The technician didn't seem knowledgeable, going so far as to suggest fixes that would only mask the leak—causing more damage in the long term without fixing them. Technician was unable to find the leak.Additionally, technician didn't come within the 6-hour window stated. Technician arrived hours after the end of that window, meaning I'd lost an entire day waiting for them to arrive. If I'd known how tardy and ineffective Rotor-Rooter was, I would have hired another company to come instead.Rotor-Rooter charges a lot for emergency pipe diagnoses. I recommend not working with them, as you might pay an arm and a leg for late work that ultimately doesn't solve your problem.I worked with another local company later to successfully find the source of the leak.

Josh tech 5765, was great. We had a issue with our shut off valves under our kitchen sink that were broke. Josh came out when it was snowing he made a second trip to get additional hardware needed. Service was fast and professional.

We had a leakage issue in our upstairs bathroom that affected our downstairs ceiling. We needed immediate attention first thing in the morning to stop the water flow. Roto-Rooter was able to send someone to us within the hour! Dama (1503) was very professional and nice. He helped fix our leak and plumbing issues in under an hour and called in an additional specialist to appraise the water damage. I very rarely write reviews. Something really has to be either unacceptably terrible or overwhelmingly positive. Waiting for RotoRooter to come to our home, I frankly could not tell you what would make me want to take the time to leave a review about a house call for a plumber- but before Paul (2496) left I knew I absolutely would be doing just that.We had an emergency arise on Christmas eve. Terrible at any time- a problem like this during the holiday was beyond disappointing. With all the stuff we had going on, it wasn’t just frustrating- it was stressful. I prefer supporting local businesses- but couldn’t even get those guys to call us back. RotoRooter, on the other hand, had Paul at our home within an hour. Even though I’m sure (like us) he had things he’d rather be doing- he took the time to make sure we understood exactly what was causing our problem, and patiently explained solutions in a practical way. At the end of the day, things ended up costing us a lot less than we expected- but really the greatest value we received was Paul’s expert knowledge and an ability to prevent future problems.Obviously, no one wants to need a plumber- but I give my highest recommendation to RotoRooter, and to Paul in particular. He’s a good guy you can trust- he knows his stuff and cares about doing a good job. If we have a future need for a plumber, RotoRooter will be who we call- and I encourage you to do the same.-Jason

All service providers were pleasant and responsive during intake and scheduling, and communicated updated timing and rescheduling needs. I had a pvc pipe leaking at a condo building. My technician was knowledgeable and able to explain the root cause of the problem, offer two solutions, and fixed the problem within 30-45 minutes of arrival.I should rate 3/5 for astronomical pricing.Here's why:$413/hr is a bit high, even for commercial plumbing. To break this down for reader transparency: supply costs ~$25 with reusable sealant and dispenser ($50 max total supplies), + 1 labor hour + drive time & OH fees for car/etc, which is generally a business expense, so if it's built into this pricing, double dipping has certainly occurred. Even if they charged $200/hour for labor, that still only brings us to ~$250 max pricing for cost and a built-in overhead into the labor cost. Which leaves us >$150 going into the company's pocket--probably not even to the tech, whose hourly or salary is most definitely covered in the hypothetical $200 labor hour cost used here.

Our primary sump pump was not working as designed. It would only run if we nudged it. Additionally we had some water pouring in from the foundation that was kind of freaking me out. The technician (Paul) was incredibly pleasant and took his time to explain the issues we were having and calm my nerves. He quoted us up front once he figured out what was going on and then spent several hours fixing the issue. He added in some additional features to our piping (such as a check valve) that should have been there with the original install, but were not. We had same day service and the whole experience was good. I would say that pricing is not exactly the most competitive. The sump pump I feel was overpriced, but in general peace of mind is perhaps worth the extra $$$. We will not hesitate to call Roto Rooter again.

Wellington and Tanisha have been a huge help as a restoration team, and the management team was also very responsive and attentive to our needs.

on Christmas Eve around 7:30 pm we noticed that our sewer line was backing up in out basement. We called several plumbing companies who advertise 24/7 emergency same day service. They all said it would be 2 or 3 days with one company saying the earliest was a week out. Then i remembered Roto-Rooter. I called and was told they would be out that night as soon as a technician was available. 2 hours later the tech (742) called and said he was on his way. O'Brien showed up and surveyed the situation and got right to work and had the problem fixed in no time. O'Brien was extremely professional, friendly, and outgoing. We could not have hoped for a better tech. Thank you O'Bien for making our Christmas much more enjoyable.

Our sewer line was clogged with something. The plumber used the snake but didn't find anything at first. He then was able to find the problem, a large piece of plastic got wedged into the pipe. This occurred due to a previous company that installed our sewer line and not putting this part in correctly which caused it to eventually come lose. He was able to finally wedge it loose with the snake, otherwise they would have had to dig down to the pipe to remove, saving us money. Thank you for the extra effort.

Sawng Pi provided service on my toilet replacing the flange and re-installed the toilet--this after my own failed effort. He was prompt (on a Sunday evening), knowledgeable, courteous, and got the job done well. This was my first experience with Roto-Rooter and, based on this experience with Sawng, I can recommend using the firm. Pricing was a bit steep, and if I knew then what I know now, I think I could have repaired it successfully the first time--at a fraction of the cost. So, part of his value was what he taught me. No complaints...a happy first customer.

Purcell3755, My family have been having this issue for months. We constantly had to plunge our sinks to prevent them from overflowing. Purcell visited our home on a Saturday morning, with in a great timeframe of us calling. He and his assistant was very pleasant and very informative. He offered us a discount despite his own commission compensation. My family and I give him a 5-star rating and will recommend him to your family.

Called up Roto Rooter and they came out to give me an estimate on installing my gas stove and they beat the price of Home Depot plumber pricing so I told Purcell and his apprentice, Danielle, that they have the job. My new gas stove was delivered on Saturday and Josh (5765) came out to install my new stove on the same day of the delivery. Josh did an excellent job and he double checked everything making sure it had no leaks and that my new stove was working properly. Other plumbing company states 24/7 but they are not. They charge extra fee for weekend but not Roto Rooter. They really mean 24/7 including weekend at no extra cost. I will definitely be using Roto Rooter for any plumbing or installation services from now on. I am a very happy and satisfied customer of Roto Rooter. Thanks Josh (5765), Purcell and Danielle.

Jeffrey and Malik were great-- Jeff was back after working in my home 7 years earlier! Great service-- thank you Jeff and Malik!Edited because I had to have a different company come out to address a bad smell coming from my faucet. I was told that Roto-Rooter doesn’t address smells when they were out to the house. The other plumbing company very quickly told me what the problem may be and that they could do the work to fix it.

They were able to come out the next day, did a quick examination and offered a drain snake at a reasonable price. We may have haggled a bit to get there.

Called RR on Saturday to help install hot water dispenser. They promised to be out there by 6pm. They called and said that they were going to be late. I told them to come out on Sunday between 12-2. They called on Sunday to tell me that they would be late again - finally showed up at 2:30. The technician (Chris) was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He noticed that I need to replace my water shut off valves and did so. But the cost was extremely high. Wanted $100 for parts (only cost $5/each at Home Depot) plus $360 for one hour of work. So while he did a great job, the cost was certainly not worth it to me. I'll be looking elsewhere first next time.

ABINGDON, MD - When my sewer line backed up for the 3rd time in 12 months, I was done messing around with other companies. I called Roto-Rooter at about 8 AM and they pledged to have someone out to me in less than 2 hours. True to their word, they arrived when expected. The plumber was knowledgeable and very courteous, and provided an earnest assessment of the situation and provided the estimate before initiating work. He also pledged to arrange to have my sewer line scoped on the same day. Within two hours of his departure, the camera tech was making arrangements to come by and appraise what was happening within my line. While he was not the bearer of good news, he did almost immediately identify the problems and we established an immediate action plan for addressing my problem. As promised, utility contractors arrived early the next morning with Roto-Rooters team hot on their tails ready to get to work as soon as all ground markings were complete. The contractors again were courteous and professional. Although I needed to pay separately for the first call to snake my line, they deducted that payment from the total price of my sewer main replacement. I won't get into whether they are the most reasonable or the best - how man times do you undertake a job like this? - but they delivered what they promised and were earnest, honest, and upfront about everything, which counts for a lot in my book.

Techs were professional and friendly, answering any questions asked and explaining the process as well as the costs of the repair so there weren't any surprises at the end. We will definitely use Roto-Rooter again.

I would like to commend service tech Purcell for helping me with my plumbing disaster he was professional courteous and most of all knowledgeable about his job. He went above and beyond what I expected to receive as a customer for service. He was on time , very clean, willing to work with me on pricing and most of all he address all of my needs he left no stone un turned. I would recommend him for services in the future in a heart beat. He is just that good.

Giving this service two stars for the very helpful customer service representative, the promptness of the response, and a completed service. The other three stars have been left off for the following:The two plumbers who were sent to my property were difficult to work with. While I understand Saturday morning is not a time anyone wants to be at work, this is an emergency plumbing service and there's no reason to be grumpy because I need help.The two plumbers who unclogged my drain were intentionally dishonest about the issue. They tried to convince me that the exterior wastewater line had a hole that needed immediate and extensive repair. They used a camera to show a hole in the pipe and claimed we would need to excavate our yard and replace the line. The quote was $9000. I was told the house was unlivable and that it needed to be done as soon as possible, BUT not today because its Saturday.They refused to record the camera inspection unless we paid another fee. Luckily, my MIL was able to record the camera footage without them noticing. We showed this footage to another plumber later on.They also claimed I did not have an exterior cleanout access on my property and would not be able to have the county come out to inspect and unclog the drain in the future. This was a lie. It is 4 feet from my basement door and they walked past it to enter my home.After paying a stupid amount of money for the simple unclogging, I got a second opinion on the hole. Another company came in to inspect the line and found NO ISSUE. The hole cited in the first inspection was THE TRANSITION BETWEEN TWO LENGTHS OF PIPE and was supposed to look like that. The second plumbing company assured us that there were no holes and absolutely no reason to do any repair work. Since the initial unclogging, there have been no problems or backups.I'm disappointed in this predatory behavior. It's unfair and scummy to prey on people in a vulnerable situation. I understand that plumbing is skilled labor and can be pricey, but trying to scam people into major repairs that they don't need is gross. Avoid this service unless you've got an understanding of plumbing and can call them on their BS.

Samuel Sang was my Service Technician. He arrived at my home at the expected communicated time. His customer service qualities were excellent. He thoroughly investigated for the specific problem and demonstrated knowledge and skill along with great patience in accomplishing the job successfully. I would highly recommend this technician for any plumbing service need.

Your plumber Joshua Bloome tech number 5765 responded quickly to my call and he was here within a half an hour. He thoroughly searched for the for the source of our leak and was courteous of our flooring. He explained everything every step of the way and diagnosed the issue quickly and showed me exactly where the problem was that was causing the leak.Unfortunately for me, it was the dishwasher itself that was leaking not the plumbing but he was a huge help and came to our rescue the night before christmas Eve. I can't praise him enough Roto-Rooter has a real asset in him. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter and Joshua for your emergency needs.

The two employees were incredibly hard working, professional, and clearly explained the process and repairs. Please acknowledge these two gentleman for the great work they did. Roto-Rooter is always thorough, and provides timely service, especially when these issues seem to occur during non-standard business hours. I appreciate the level of communication, call 30 minutes before arrival, email confirmation, etc.

The company was very responsive when I called and described the problem I was having. The technician arrived on time and was very professional. He clearly explained the issue, what caused it and promptly repaired it. I was totally pleased with the end results. I highly recommend them for any services relating to clogged drains and plumbing.

Purcell (3755) was on time as we discussed. He provided great service by exceeding our expectation and ensuring our drain was clean. Came out for FREE estimate on a tub drain clog. Friendly tech who explained what he was doing. He did several tests to make sure I wouldn't have other problems with it and was completely done in under an hour.. So happy to have found an honest and trustworthy company that I can add to my speed dial.

EXCELLENT and Professional Service. The representative was very helpful and knowledgeable, I felt that I could trust him. He explained what he would be doing and didn't mind me asking questions. He cleaned the work area after his work was finished (better than it was before he began). Very considerate about my rugs and floors, always wearing shoe protectors.

Water heater failed to lght twice while the technician was here. He finally got it to light and I paid and he left. But while he was outside in hs truck the water heater locked out again. He pulled the burner and reinstalled and it relit. But he had no idea of what part in the assmbly might have been bad and recommended that I I buy a new burner assembly But it would be nice if technicians were trained to diagnose thermopi;es or thermocoples individually rather than guessing that something in a large assembly is wrong and throwing in s whole new assembly instead. I guess I will order the assembly from whirlpool just to be safe if it fails to relight again.

Very pleased with the service I received from Roto-Rooter!! Was able to get them to come out the same day and the technician (Min #1461) was great. He was very courteous, took care to keep my house clean, and had the pipes cleaned out in 90 minutes. Will definitely call them again should the need arise.

There is no doubt in my mind that Roto-Rooter is a company that cares about customer satisfaction. After a less than favorable experience, I was contacted the next day by RR management wanting to understand my issue. They completely understood, refunded 100% of the fee for the previous service, and sent someone the next day to fix the problem at a substantially discounted price. This type of customer service is rare these days. All of my previous experiences with RR have been 5-star so I was a bit disappointed but, as it turns out, the poor service was an anomaly and it was caught by their quality assurance program. They fixed the problem and with assurances as such, I will be sure to use them again.

Amazing!!! Couldn’t recommend them more. After buying a home and moving in the first day we had a plumbing emergency. They came out and took the time to explain the process and what we needed done as well as how to make it cost effective. Both the representatives on the phone and the plumber were beyond professional and took care of our home. Highly recommend them!

Although he arrived significantly later than expected, they kept us informed of his arrival and arrived the same day that we called. He was also very helpful and informed us of our options.Thought we would need more work than we actually needed. He was honest and saved us money.

I was very pleased with both the great attitude of the plumber and the quality of the work that he performed. The plumber explained what he was going to do to clear out my main sewer line and also took the time to answer my many questions. He kept me informed regarding the progress that he was making and showed me the tree roots that he extracted from my line. At my request, he also scheduled a follow-up appointment to have someone come out (the very next day) to assess whether or not I need the main sewer line replaced at this time. I was very impressed with the quality of the service that I received and I would definitely recommend Roto-Roter to my family and friends. This is a top notch company.

The plumber should have seen that the replacement part for the kitchen faucet did not work. The old handle which was functioning was thrown out, so now I have a horrible faucet in my kitchen. NOW I have to go out and buy a new faucet and have it installed. It should have been simple. I don’t believe the plumber was honest with me. While the company will refund my money, I’m still out the cost of a new faucet AND the labor.. I will never use roto rooter ever.

Van was prompt—arrived within an hour of reaching out for an estimate. He was knowledgeable, quickly identified the potential problems areas, and took care to explain all the steps needed to clear a clogged system. He made sure to address the root problem, rather than just doing a quick “fix”. This took quite a bit of time and effort. He also helped put in place some preventive measures (such as accessible clean outs) to make any future issues less catastrophic.Great work and we really appreciate the confidence we have that the problem has been addressed, which was not our experience with the first plumber we had out to address the issue.

After reaching out to my home warranty company who had me on emergency standby for a few hours for a toilet clog that had almost overflowed several times, I decided to call Roto-Rooter to see if they could help me in a reasonable time and for a reasonable amount. Between the time I called and the time they arrived was within 30 minutes which was WAY faster than what the customer service rep told me. Needless to say I was more than happy about that. My technician did all of his checks and he explained potential causes for the issue. When he ran down the cost I was very hesitant as my home warranty would only cost me my deductible which was lower that what I was quoted. To my surprise my technician was kind enough to almost match what my home warranty deductible was and he was able to clear the soft clog in no time! Meanwhile I still hadn’t heard from the plumbing company assigned by the home warranty company. My technician was very information and personable and was efficient at the same time. Tech was confident that the clog in my bathtub would clear once he use his boost snake machine which did the job. The water drains down fast and I'm pleased. The tech was great!
