I have used services from Roto Rooters 3 times. And each visit from a Technician has been excellent! They explain the problem clearly and understandably. This was the 3rd time that the Main Sewer line was clogged. The Technician, named Sawng Pi, came and cleared out the stoppage using the single reel cable snake. He opened up the line 40 feet and noticed a huge backup off property. Same issue as before, back in 2018. He was very courteous and professional. He also called and reported to WSSC. Great service! Will contact again if problem re-occurs.

Amazing response and service! After waiting three days for my home warranty to resolve my issue and failing, I contacted Roto-Rooter late on a Friday night. They had someone at my house within the hour, who explain the service and gave me a quote before beginning any work.
It wasn’t cheap but it was prompt and professional. The plumber walked me through everything he was doing, took extra care to make sure my property wasn’t damaged, resolved my issue and made sure it was resolved and scheduled a follow inspection at no additional charge to ensure the work is sound. And all this after finding out he was originally on his way home and finished for the evening. Keith Alexander was a professional in every sense and I only hope Roto-Rooter compensates him appropriately for his time and extra attention to detail.
There are some services that you need last minute and you need to expect to pay for that prompt service. This is one of those things and they did not disappoint. Get rid of your home warranty, save the monthly premiums for times like this. You’ll be happier in the long run, especially with this company.

Everyone was nice and responsive but the plumber they sent was fairly new and kept reminding me of the fact. I asked some administrative questions about the service and they kept telling me they weren’t trained yet. I ultimately didn’t proceed and had to rearrange my work schedule to call a different company to come out and assess.

Khai Dal was our service technician, and let me tell you, that man is an absolute HERO. We have never had such a glowingly positive experience with anyone we've hired to do repairs. He put in so much time and effort to help unclog our kitchen sink pipe. He stayed for over 4 hours and kept on trying far past the point that anyone else would've given up, and his perseverance saved us thousands of dollars. If you can give this man a raise, do it. If you can give him a holiday bonus, do it. He deserves it.

My technician Khai Dal was AMAZING!
I had a problem with multiple clogged lines and everything was backed up. He came in explained the problem, which steps he was going to take and executed everything timely and efficiently and even with a smile! I was concerned about what seemed like such a huge task but Khai really worked his magic and put me totally at ease with his professionalism and skill. Highly recommend!
I am giving 5 stars only for the technician. He was very nice and detailed on what he thought needed to be done before doing it. He made the situation a lot better. If I was recommending this company to someone based off of the Dispatch managers I dealt with then I would leave a negative review. It was worse than trying to schedule the cable company. They promised me three times and all were busted. I was looking up alternative companies when I found out a technician was actually headed to my address. First call was made 8pm. I received service next day at 1:00pm. Again, Technician was great, but everything else before that was terrible.

Roto Rooter has grade-A/top-rate customer service. I've posted concerning my initial experience, but they've returned to my home twice since the initial repair to assess water issues as a result of the repair (but to no fault of their own as the issue is outside of their control). Even still, the follow-up technicians (Jaboree previously) and (Kam today, 1/22) were consummate professionals, responsive to my issues and exercised the proper concern needed while approaching/addressing my concerns. I’ve used Roto-Rooter for years whenever I’ve had a plumbing issue, big or small. They are always friendly and professional and they never leave a mess. The price has always been reasonable and when they’re done your problem is fixed. In this case we had a clogged drain in a very old pipe that was sure to break if I tried to take it apart myself. Our plumber Charley Rogers replaced the old pipe with brand new PVC and unclogged the drain. He explained everything and was finished in no time. When he was done the area where he was working was just as clean as before he got here. Before he left Charley gave us some good advice on how to keep our drains from clogging in the future. I highly recommend Charley and Roto-Rooter if you need a plumber.

I had a clogged outdoor drain that caused water entering the basement. The tech,Thuam 4383, did a great job in clearing the pipeline and getting the water to flow through.
Last March we called rotor-rooter to come out and deal with a sewage line back up. after that was fixed I asked the technician to look at an old sump pump that had stopped working in our house and they replaced the motor During the same call. Recently (9 months later) the motor for the sump pump was running dry and burning up as the float stopped working.
They sent out a technician, Kai Dal, who did a great job of removing gravel, fixing the float and verifying that the pump is still working, all done under the 1 year warranty.

The technician (Thuam) who came to service me provide excellent informative service.
After discovering that our hot water heater burst over a holiday weekend, we were desperate to get the water stopped so the damage didn’t continue. Roto-rooter was incredibly responsive and had someone out to us in 2 hours. He followed social distancing and wore a mask, gloves and shoe coverings. Technician #5130 was incredibly thorough, patiently explaining our options, and very understanding about our needs. The next day - a holiday - he and technician #4386 came out and spent HOURS making sure that we not only got an incredible new water heater (the brand we specifically asked for) but also that the area was cleaned up, mold free, and used proper plumbing. Wayne (2409) performed exemplary service, communicated well, and did his best to make sure our backed up sewer line was properly unclogged and ready for use. He was extremely clean, careful of our belongings and home, and was all around a pleasure to deal with. 10/10 in my book.

They repaired the leak in the plumbing; they weren't able to use the faucet kit I had, but they found a close enough kit to finish the installation.
Water pouring into basement laundry room from a pipe in the ceiling googled emergency plumber called 3 plumbers no answer or couldn’t have a tech come out immediately, called Roto- Rooter someone picked up right away and was able to have someone out within the hour. Very responsive and on time! Highly recommend
Our home was having issues with slow draining in each of the bathroom showers. We were contacted as promised 30 minutes before the technician arrived. Keith showed up on time, assessed the situation, proposed a resolution with options and we agreed to clean both bathroom drains and the main. He was neat, quiet and very fast. Each drain works as normal now, every service transaction should be this way- great job.

The gentleman who came out Christmas Eve and spent roughly 5 hours with us working to clear our sewer pipe that had backed up into our basement bathroom and man cave was persistent and spent a highly appreciated amount of time working to clear the pipes and fix the problem. To say he went above and beyond in temperatures that had a wind chill of -5 would be an understatement. Very professional, personable, and dedicated to helping out our family in what was certainly an emergency situation.

A gentleman named, “Charlie” came to my house to remove stuff that had clogged the toilet drain. My son had thrown stuff into the toilet.
I use the term, “gentleman” because he was courteous, professional, and had pleasant to work with. He wore a mask while working quickly and efficiently. He explained everything that he was doing and took extra steps to ensure that there were no other problems beyond what I had believed.

My main sewer line was clogged and after having the septic company come out and not able to fix it, I called roto rooter. They came out the same evening which was amazing. KHAI DAL Service Tech #5748 was very professional when he provided the plumbing services I required. He explained to me the work that had to be done and the pricing. He also showed me the pricing index that the company uses to price particular jobs. He had to unclog a pipe in the upstairs bathroom leading from the toilet that was at least 15ft deep. He cleaned up the work space nicely when he finished. I would highly recommend him and the company to others.
it was a saturday late morning and the main drainage was blocked. I called Rooto-Rooter and they came immediately in 45 minutes. they got heavy duty snake over 100ft and accessed the main line and took one hour and cleaned the blockage and everything was fine later. great service. Charged 700 dollars for a minor external drain clean, roto head broke off in my drain and don't even know if it was fixed. They didn't even clear my main drain line and I come to find out it would be max 500 if I was doing my main drain line.

We had a burst pipe on a Sunday afternoon and Roto-Rooter was the only company I called that had someone available same day. Zachary came out quickly, identified the issue and the fix, and clearly walked us through what was wrong and the cost/steps to fix it. The cost was fair for the job. I had a fantastic experience using RotoRooter with a recent leak in my shower. John (#1275) came by to assess the problem & explained several options for repair at different price quotes. He worked with my HOA rules regarding notice before water shut-offs & came by multiple times to get the work done. It turned out we needed a replacement part that was discontinued. John had the part specially made so that I could avoid the major cost of going in and replacing expensive pipes. Once the part was ready he expertly installed it, repairing the leak and ensuring everything worked properly. He noticed that my faucet needed more caulk so he addressed that issue too, kindly leaving the remainder of the caulk tube with me for any additional necessary caulking. The price for all of this work was less than I expected! He gave me a discount and did not charge me for the additional trips he made out to me. I am truly impressed by John’s quality of work, professionalism, and kindness. I will definitely be using RotoRooter for any future plumbing work!

I would not recommend. The techs don't seem honest. I heard a vibration sound from pipes when water was running. I was told that there are free estimates. I was charged $375 by the tech for 1 hour of service before he diagnosed the problem. The tech did a marginal adjustment to resolve the problem. The call centers service was good.

Let me start by saying that my technician, Khai, was great and did excellent work. My review is for the company and their pricing policy. They charge you double for any parts they use in the repair or installation. So on top of exorbitant labor charges and delivery fees, they also rip you off when it comes to parts. If they are going to install a $500 water heater they will charge you $1000 for it. And then they nickel and dime you by charging for every single tiny part used in the process and of course they double the price for each of those as well. I used them because it was an emergency but never again. Total rip off.

Maung (technician 4811) was great. I called at 6:30pm for an emergency drain backed up and overflowing into our basement. He arrived in just about an hour and didn’t give up when he couldn’t find the cause at first. A few hours in he finally was able to clear the line after putting over 65’ of snake through. Very professional.

The technician who came was nice but did not introduce himself at first and for a majority of the visit was not wearing a mask of any PPE. This was very concerning. I was sure to distance myself as much as possible and wore a mask for my safety but would have felt better had he worn a mask and gloves while in our home. The process was very slow to bring equipment in as well. I feel as though that consumed approximately 30% of the visit. I did very much appreciate his expertise though and how he was available the same day.

The repair person was friendly, professional, and respectful of my property. With some knowledge on how plumbing works the issues and resolutions were explained to my understanding. The overall experience was 10 out of 10.
Khai did a phenomenal job. Very friendly, explained what he was doing. Gave advise to the kids on what not to flush.

The worker Khai Dal was very kínd and helpful. The experience was over all very professional with Good work eithic.
Exceptional customer service from the call-in with “Debra” to the work by the service technician, “Keith”. Of course our issue surfaced on a weekend and in the rain, but Keith was punctual, professional, and persistent beyond what most would have put up with in the pouring down rain. Hovering over the clean-out, wrestling with the equipment for hours to force it to break thru whatever clogged the main line, he was as happy as we were that the clog cleared. Looking forward to a camera’s view on what may have been the problem. Thank you, Keith!!!

Had a severe clog of the main sewer line on Christmas Eve. Emailed Roto Rooter and received a prompt response for service on Christmas Day. Roto rooter called to confirm service and gave me a time frame of 9-1. Typically this means closer to 1 but received another call that the plumber was on his way around 10. Plumber was polite, very professional and did a thorough job. Had me flush all the toilets and run the shower to make sure clog was successfully fixed. Ended up taking his equipment the long way through my backyard because he was concerned about possibly damaging my steps. Thankful that they could help me on Christmas Day especially with in-laws staying with us. Thank you!

Thank you for your quick and efficient service. Devon showed up early to our home, assessed the situation and explained clearly what his options were for clearing our drain. He was in and out in less than a half hour. He even laughed at my jokes! Which, according to my wife, was his truest act of kindness.

We called Roto-Rooter very early on a Sunday morning after we found out that we had no hot water and our 21 year old water heater was leaking badly. I was called at 8am and within the hour Khai was at our home. We had the new water heater installed and hot water that afternoon. We were impressed by the professionalism and work completed. Thank you Khai and Roto-Rooter for making our day!

The service was quick and efficient. The technicians were outstanding, and they took time as they worked to make me understand what and why they were doing things. They cleanup before they left and informed me of some items that I should purchase to prevent the problem from happening again. Purcell the senior technician and his partner did everything they could to answer all my questions. If I had a plumbing business I would hire them.

Tech 5748 did very good job. Came prepared with a mask and foot covers. Explain what he was doing and recommended a product that would help eliminate this from happening in the future.
Total pros! Assisted with an emergency waterline blockage and were prompt and professional and resolved the issue. Flood mitigation was needed and the techs on site did a fantastic job. Both were polite, on time, knowledgeable, and handled the issue with confidence and expertise. Highly recommend Roto Rooter for emergency services.

Victor was very professional and diligent in his work. He was respectful and thorough in his investigation of the problem, updating me every step of the way. Victor came out within the hour and was very careful, wearing shoe covers, and a mask (which was important to me especially with a young child at home). Overall I had a great impression from Roto Rooter overall and Victor in particular.

Mr Purcell Edwards #3755 was very professional from the first day . After we went over the service request he informed me of what it would take to get this done. One of the parts was defeated so he had to come back the next day with a new toilet.I informed him of a large funeral service that we where having that started at 9:00 I said I would be her at 7:30am he said I will be here and out before the service time and he did just that . So thank you for your service at this critical time of the national pandemic.
