I had a 55 gallon Rheem water heater installed by Scott and Mason today from D. W. Bahr plumbing and they both did a sensational job. I would highly recommend them if you need a plumber.

I had DW Bahr Plumbing selected as the vendor from Home Depot to install a new gas water heater. Joe and Damond were the installers. They were great to work with. Very polite and very professional. The install left a better product in terms of rerouting the copper pipes to make the shut off valves work. They added a spill pan in case there are any leaks. Went over all aspects of the water heater after install. Great company.

Had our regular plumber quote us 2 grand to replace a water heater. Bought a good quality Rheem from H.D. and D W Bahr was the recommended installer. Sandy took my call late Thursday (she was amazing) bought the unit Friday on will call, Ed & Nick showed up on time Saturday morning. Works great, they were quick and efficient and the whole project was almost half of the original quote. We will definitely use these folks again!

Called several times regarding hot water tank leaking. Spoke to a female that was rude and had a very nonchalant attitude . Told me she couldn’t send a tech out because she couldn’t verify my warranty.when I asked how was she unable to verify my warranty her tone sounded very annoyed. I called several times she Kept saying she would call back with no response. Very poor quality. Would not recommend. Spend your money elsewhere. They do not appreciate their customers.

Nicholas and Justin did a great job removing my 40 yr old water heater, replacing it with a new one, explaining the changes made and calling prior to arrival with an exactly met ETA. I was particularly impressed with the care they showed my historical home with its inconveniently tight doors and corners that likely made their job more difficult.

We haev used Bahr several times via purchases made at Home Depot - toilets & disposals... they do an efficient job are on time & friendly. Justin & Maurice have been great...

D W Bahr Plumbing & Heating installed a 75 gal gas water heater in my home. The techs Joe & Damond were outstanding. They were extremely professional, on-time, and very thorough. The attention to detail and all the little things made a world of difference. The scope of work included a new drip pan, brass ball shutoff valve, expansion tank and overflow connection to sump pump. Will definitely call them the next time I need a plumber. Top notch outfit.

Purchased garbage disposal from retail store and DW BAHR was contracted to install. I received a call to set up install the day after purchase. They were able to get us in right away. Dave and Jose were the installers. They were pleasant, efficient and helpful! We were very satisfied with their work and the entire process!

I purchased a water heater with same day installation through Home Depot. Scott and Mason were my installers, and they were able to come 4 hours ahead of schedule. They got right to work as soon as they arrived. Both men were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. I would recommend Scott and Mason to anyone needing to have plumbing work done in their home.

I ordered a new cast iron kitchen sink, faucet and garbage disposal from Home Depot. At my request, Home Depot contacted one of their trusted plumbing companies, D W Bahr Plumbing and Heating Company, to do the installation once all the parts were in. I received a scheduling call from their office within a day or so. On the appointed day, September 2, 2021, Joe and Damond called to give their arrival time and in fact were a few minutes early. Joe checked under the existing sink and saw some possible complications. Serious challenges became apparent once he and Damon looked over and measured the new sink (which was deeper and much heavier than the existing one), faucet and disposal: there was a mismatch between the location of existing drains and pipes and the requirements of the new items. Joe advised that an under-sink rebuild might be necessary and that the rebuild might require another visit and possibly additional charges. But instead of giving up, Joe and Damond removed the existing sink, faucet and disposal and committed to getting the job done. They found the necessary supplies on their truck and Joe rebuilt the under-sink system with great precision, Before long, and after overcoming at least one additional significant obstacle, the new sink, faucet and disposal were beautifully installed and working. No additional visit was necessary; and, although I offered to pay, there were no additional charges beyond what I prepaid at Home Depot. They removed all the old items and carefully cleaned up. I could not have been more satisfied; and I recommend the company and Joe and Damond strongly and without reservation.

My experience with D W Bahr started with a call to their Denise. She was pleasant, courteous and professional. I was billed and had my installation scheduling in no time. Reach to my delight would be the next morning. The two installers, Joe and Damond, were as polite, courteous and professional as Denise. Justin & Nick from DW Bahr replaced my garbage disposal, they were very professional and courteous. They explained the details of their job. This was an extra comfort and I must say they were very conscious of their customers property, they cleaned everything up after they were finished. Great Job!!!!

If I could give them no stars I would. I called ever hour for 8 hours on their emergency answering service line and got updates 6 times that they would be coming for my emergency
That night. At 2am the service said the man on call was in sykesville md and that he couldn’t come until 8am. No update hours and hours later and then when I called at 7am and their answering picked up again they said he was ON HIS WAY IN to the office and I would be the first one he would call. I called again hours later and was told no one could help me because I didn’t BUY my hot water heater from them or else they would have made an acception. Meaning, they would help someone who gave them previous business but not someone willing to pay an arm and a leg for EMERGENCY flooding in their basement for 12 hours. I could have made other arrangements hours and hours prior and was literally told that I was lying about what the answering service told me by the rude man who was not even willing to help me at all. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! My husband works local radio and I will have him tell the same story to make sure everyone knows who couldn’t read this. Completely shocked that they couldn’t hear my situation and understand they needed to help someone in need with an emergency.

My company uses them as our primary plumbers. If you get a morning appointment your golden. If you get an afternoon chances are they will be late. With that said its worth the wait. They get it right every time and are quick with the repairs. I would definitely use them on my personal home if ever needed.

I wish I could go lower than 1 star but I cant . Very Unprofessional. I spoke with a woman by the name of Erica or Erika(not sure of spelling) and I tried to get her name ahe wouldn't give it to me . Then called back and spoke with Sandy ( who gave me Erica name) who was unprofessional as well. A company recommended me to them and that was my first last and only time I will ever call them. They had a work order they was supposed to call me and never called. I never heard from them and my water heater went up and they were supposed to come out to service it I never even got to a point to even set up an appointment.

Ed and nick were super friendly with the concern of getting a 5 star review. When they left all they cared about was getting their 5 star review. Offering 50$ for a 5 star isn’t college right way to do business. Day later water heater is leaking about 2 inches of water on the top. They blamed it on the manufacture. Either way, would not use these guys cause all they care about is getting a false 5 star review before you have a chance to see the work.

Garbage business. Horrible phone presence. Couldn't even email a quote for a water heater. Maybe the secretary was offended by my questioning the verbal quote. Well she lost the business for them and I will also be reporting the unprofessionalism to Home Depot since they now have to find me a new plumber.

Just go somewhere else. These guys can't even get out of their own front door...

I would recommend using DW Bahr to anyone if you want top 10 service and honest prices!

Ed and Nick displayed nothing but professionalism, craftsmanship, and answered all my questions.

They came out the same day with a new water heater my wife and I selected and completed the job in less then two hours!

We used this company in the sense we tried to have our water heater assessed replaced. We attempted to use this business as part of a homedepot warranty claim where we pay them for their services doing what they do and submit to HomeDepot. We were without water for a week at this point. Left a message with them 48 hrs earlier. no reply. no call back. Finally reached out to them again on 12/31/22. Completely willing and able to pay them for their services and finally have a hot shower again. Woman who answered the call was excessively rude and unprofessional. No customer service what so ever just a complete denial of service all together and complained about it being a holiday weekend. Mind you, we had reached out to them 48hrs prior.
I work in service and when a customer calls you with a problem you come at them with what you can do not what you cant. More times that not the customer doesn't have the knowledge or understanding of the process and that is where you guide them not fight them at every statement. We were calling them based on our instructions from Homedepot and Allstate who backs the warranty. That is all the info we had and DW was the contact that was provided.

We purchased a new garbage disposal from Home Depot. Ed and Rick were the installers. Both were professional and knowledgeable. They did an excellent job!

I was very pleased with Justin & Nick who installed my new toilets. I was called when they were on their way and theyintroduced themselves when they arrived. The job was done quickly and the area was cleaned up before they left.

Our installers were Joe and Diamond. They did an excellent job of installing our new water heater. It only took about an hour. Customer service was superb!! I would highly recommend their business. They cleaned up and left the area in good condition, removing all trash. We will be happy to use them again.

Two young friendly gentleman came by and replaced my water heater with no trouble or issues. What more can you ask! Great service.

I had a leaking garbage disposal at home and decided to replace it with a new one. Mr. Mason was very professional and courteous in every step of the work. He explained in detail after his work was completed. The work was done fast with great efficiency and I was very happy with the outcome. Do not use them if you have any alternative. You will sit all day and wait for a plumber who never arrives because they say they have no record of your call.

The worst. I had these guys install a water heater for me based on positive reviews. Fast forward a couple years the unit is leaking and not working. Had two other companies come out bc needed service right away. Was told by both that unit was improperly installed causing the leaks. Called Bahr and explained the situation. They didn't even want to come out for two weeks to even look at it. I threw a fit so they came out took pictures. Didn't even call me to review. I called them and was told this just happens and they're not at fault and won't help. Awful workmanship and awful customer service. Save your time and money.

We had a new water heater installed several months ago. After a few months, the hot water was no longer working. We called the company and they stated we needed a new piece for the pilot light for the water heater. We were told they would order it and it would be 3 to 4 days. The company dropped the ball and did not order the piece. We finally had the piece delivered after a month and a half. The technician stated the previous tech broke the pilot light piece. This was a horrible situation that we experienced at the hands of this company. Not only did we not have hot water for a month and a half but, we had a two and half year old child that we had bath by heating up pots of water on the stove. This company, putting it mildly, very incompetent in so many aspects. Be smart and DO NOT use this company for anything!!!

DW Bahr's installers Ed and Nick did a great job. They provided me with knowledge on why my old water heater failed prematurely. They also ensured that the new one they installed did not have the same issue. The install was surprisingly quick. Especially given they had to drain and remove the old water heater. Job site was clean after the work was completed. Ed and Nick were very professional and courteous. They did a great job of walking me through the paperwork to complete the process also. I would definitely recommend their services.

Not very good customer service

Dave and Jose from DW Bahr did an amazing job. They removed the old unit, cleaned up any water, disposed of any waste and installed the unit professionally and promptly. No leaks and I have hot water again. Should I have any other plumbing issues I won't hesitate to reach out for further work.
