We needed a new dishwasher valve and he replaced it in less than 20 min plus showed us a few tips for installation since we paid for the full hour. It was so kind of of him, we will definitely be coming back for any plumbing needs!

Mahon came out in a timely manner and spent all day putting in a new sewer line for us. We had a huge tree root in our 1940s terracotta pipe, and they dug it up and laid the new (root-proof) pipe (the line was deeper than we thought), working diligently from 8:30am-9:30pm on a Friday. They came back the next day (Saturday) to finish it up, laying seed and hay, re-laying the section of sidewalk they dug up, replanting all my flowers and shrubs, and putting down mulch in my flowerbed. Then they scrubbed down my driveway, as well as the neighbors, and just did a superb job!! They were also the least expensive of the plumbing companies we called! We highly recommend them!

I'm a tad late writing this, but I wanted to share the very positive experience I had with this company. It was back during the 4th of July weekend and we had visitors staying in our guess space in the basement. Unfortunately, during their visit, the toilet clogged which also back clogged the tub, so they couldn't use the bathroom, and it was at night. We called around for 24/7 service and thankfully found Mahon. They were nice, understanding and I have to say now, worth the price considering everything they had to do and what others wanted to charge. They came out the first night and had to unclog the main pipe and it was working, but by the morning, it was backed up again. We had to call again in the morning, on the actual holiday, I felt so bad, but we had to. But, they made no excuses, and came back out within about an hour from the time I called, even though there really wasn't a warranty. The guy came out with reinforcement and a much larger snake and the rest is history. We have had no issues since the 4th of July. Thumbs up to Mahon Plumbing and Jacob, the plumber who came out. His quote was in line price-wise with the other four quotes I had obtained through other reputable contractors however he pointed me in the direction to an online coupon that made the quoted price more affordable. Mohan's quote was superior because of the thorough assessment and analysis of the problem. The team showed up on time, on schedule, as discussed and it was fixed the way Chris said it would. Mahon came out to my home on a Sunday with extremely short notice to replace my water main shutoff valve. Chris was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. Mahon repaired a pipe where there was a GAS LEAK found by BGE. I was charged by the hour, 3 hours for tech and 2 hours for owner. It cost a small fortune to repair the leak. Paid for 5 hours, and they were at my home for 2 hours. I didn't expect to pay per hour, per person. In the future, I will only hire companies that charge by the job, not by the hour.
I will say, however, that I am very pleased with the quality of their work.

Very quick to come out and hook up a new waterline for my new fridge when Home Depot’s contractor refused to touch the copper line.

We've used Mahon Plumbing for two services: June 2021- installing a new bathroom sink faucet and repairing the shower. Sept 2020 - repairing a leaking copper pipe valve. Both services were performed timely, completely, and professionally. I recommend them highly and will not hesitate to call them again !

I needed my back flow inspected for the county so I called my regular plumber for the inspection.
There are so many plumbers out there, some cheaper, some more expensive but not as honest as Mahon Plumbing...

Professional and trustworthy - had a difficult repair to be done and had to pick someone that would fix it right, and from experience knew that had to be Mahon.

Mahon Plumbing was on time, incredibly professional and friendly. The plumber showed up masked and was very distant and respectful. He installed a smart faucet and was very thoughtful with the placement of the install under the sink so we could easily access if ever needed.

Washing machine double sink replaced & bathroom faucet replaced. Now I can use my soaking sink, I never used the old one, a good thing since that faucet leaked badly. Also replaced the corroded pipe from soaking tub to underground pipe, now the tubs don’t have standing water for hours after I use the washer

Came home to flooded basement. The sump pump failed as did the back up system. Called Mahon after hours emergency and Chris the owner called back in minutes. He had a technician out to the house very quickly. TIm hit a home run for us. He quickly figured out the problem and had a new sump pump installed in a short time. Mahon Plumbing has been to my home on many occasions. They are dependable and get the job done. Your wallet won't be empty at the end of the day either. No unreasonable fees or anything. Its like having a good neighbor that is your friend who knows plumbing.

Mahon was my plumber for my new kitchen sink and faucet. They did an amazing job disconnecting my old sink and faucet and re-connecting the new one. They were timely and professional. Will be using them again!

The repair man told us exactly what he was going to do, suggested we take pictures, and when finished recapped all that he did.

I recently purchased an Ameristar home. Mahon Plumbing was contracted to complete plumbing services. Over the last month I had two conversations with an extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist at Mahon Plumbing. The first conversation I left a message with her regarding a leak. She was supposed to pass this message along to the plumber for follow-up. Needless to say, I never received a call back from anyone at Mahon Plumbing. The second employee from Mahon plumbing that I encountered was simply the antithesis of professional. She was extremely short and abrasive. As I attempted to describe the problem to her. She stated to me I can't look through the phone and tell you what's wrong .This is the individual who is the first point of contact for Mahon Plumbing.!!!! Her customer service skills and level of professionalism are zero. She identified herself as Anne-Marie. I will elaborate on my experience in my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Quoted almost 4 times as much as others. Was looking for a quote to install a gas line outdoor. Work was a simple install that did not need digging or opening walls. Just connecting from existing line that was ready to go.
If you get a quote from these guys, definitely get at least 2 more quotes to compare. Most reviews said they are fair on pricing, but this experience left me wondering how consistent is it really.

Thanks for the response and the free estimate. I do need to clarify the false statement you made. You did meet with someone here to discuss the details of the work. From that meeting you provided a detailed quote for the work. I reviewed it and it was exactly what needed to be done. Which means you understood the requirements. You provided a quote your company believes it was right and nothing wrong with that. I did not provide feedback because why would I award a contract to a company that was almost 4 times the other quotes. It would be extremely odd if I was to tell you the other quotes and you came back to match it. Calling your company back would have been a waste of time on both ends. Your time is just as valuable as anyone else's. Not calling back is respecting that.
My review was fair and it was only to provide insight to future customers.
My rating is based on the 5 star rating. ( 1- Horrible, 2- Poor, 3- Satisfactory, 4- Amazing, 5- Above and beyond) I originally scored your company a satisfactory rating of 3 stars. I dropped it to 2 since you made it sound like your company showed up and no one was here to talk you through the job requirements. If that was the case I would not have gotten a quote to begin with.

I rented a machine from Home Depot to unclog my sewer line. I worked on it for several hours and could not make any headway. A word of warning is that these machines are heavy, hard work, and dangerous! So I called Mahon Plumbing at noon and they were they by 3:30 pm. Great response time! The Plumber was wearing a mask and had coverings on his shoes. Impressive! Initially the plumber and I suspected that the sewer line had caved in. Massive amounts of tree roots had invaded the pipe. Two more Plumbers arrived with cameras and other boring equipment and 5 hours later the line was cleared and cleaned and actually looked like a clean Colon! My wife and I were so impressed by their knowledge, expertise, cleanliness, and persistence to get the job done! The cost was honest and fair! I highly recommend Mahon Plumbing and say Thank You for a job well done!

Spoke to a few plumbers and Chris was extremely knowledgeable about the tankless water heater we wanted to install and other work we planned on doing as part of a significant renovation. He was also responsive to inquiries, available within a reasonable time, and arrived on time when they said they would and completed the work in a timely manner, which helped make the entire project run more smoothly.

Mahon is very honest and helpful. Gave us good advice to work out an upgrade plan for the house. When we install we will hire Mahon. I used them previously for a clogged sewer house connection. They videotaped the line and shared it with us. No more clog and satisfaction.

They performed a back flow test. Tech was professional and worked clean. I just thought it was a little expensive for 15 minutes worth of work. But I feel I would use for other plumbing issues if in a pinch.

Was not happy with service. Their emergency line says 24 hours, but when I called they kept trying to find ways to dismiss the plumbing issue instead of getting a tech to take a look at it. You have to really push if you want a timely appointment. I had to do my own research to fix the problem.

When our septic system failed and we had to connect to county sewer Mahon Plumbing helped us through the whole process and did excellent and efficient work.
