Best Water Softener Installation in Austin TX

I had S&D out to my house to look at a plumbing leak coming from my garage (pre snowstorm). After they pushed the appointment because the technician got caught at another job site, I contacted another company about the leak. The other company came and fixed the leak for over $400 less than S&D quoted me (and S&D's quote was just for the leak investigation, not the plumbing repair, nor the patching of drywall and cement). S&D quoted me $1,400 for the investigation, while the other company did the investigation, repair, and drywall and concrete patching for $988. I then contacted S&D again about a tankless hot water heater (as the company I had just used doesn't offer that work), and accepted the quote and date given by S&D. Again, S&D called because, the technician got stuck at another job site. They tried to reschedule to a weekend more than a week away, after I had just hired someone to stay at my house to wait all day for them to arrive (which they didn't). Exceptionally high prices combined with not keeping appointments. Very frustrating experience, total lack of respect for other peoples time.

Curtis was professional, honest and straightforward with costs, and did his best to save us money and complete the job quickly.

Phillip is an extremely knowledgeable HVAC technician. He immediately diagnosed our hvac system issue and had excellent follow-up ordering and installing the necessary parts to remedy the issue. Phillip’s knowledge, hard work and due diligence is much appreciated by our family!

WE HAVE HOT WATER AGAIN!!Great service, easy communications and very reasonable prices. Had a great experience with Shawn. They replaced our pump on our sump pump and it is working great. Very affordable compared to Radiant and they shot us straight.

Very friendly and fast but both leaks they fixed had to be refixed. This took more time, more huge water bill, and more inconvenience of having no water at the house. Very high price after initial lower quote. We ended up having to trench the yard ourselves to physically find the problem. Plumbers aren't diggers! We learned all this the hard way and are grateful they refixed their work but have a hard time trusting it now.

Still deciding on the job, but their visit for a quote was friendly, thorough, and fair. Leading their way.

Jeff at Moore & More was an excellent problem solver, taking all the best steps to isolate and find the leak in our home. He explained his steps and expected costs thoroughly and, most importantly, solved our leak when it was a difficult one to track down. Abacus was great, they handled a full replacement of 3 separate heating and A/C systems in my home. Daniel, who advised us on the replacement options after he inspected our old system, was also involved in the installation, and is just fantastic, he is extremely professional and conscientious, and a great communicator. I’ve never had someone explain systems and various options in that level of detail so clearly and patiently. Joe managed the team behind the install behind the scenes but came by multiple times to be sure everything was on track and he was just great. I especially appreciated the final tuning, air flow analysis, and walk through of the systems both Daniel and Joe gave us after everything was installed. The service options and long warranty are great as well.

Our AC went out in our upstairs just as the summer started heating up. Josh came out and figured out the problem quickly. He was in and out within 30 minutes. Fast, friendly, and knowledgeable!

I would highly recommend Ciao plumbing. Yuri came out during the Labor day weekend, when most plumbers did not respond. He redid the connections under our new sink and connected the garbage disposal at no charge. His rate was very fair and he is professional.

I've never seen a business model like this one in plumbing (and I've been a licensed/working real estate agent since 2003... I've worked with a LOT of plumbers).
