Called Abacus this morning when we discovered a leak with our shut off valve. Was told they could have someone out between the time I called and 1800. Within 30 minutes I received a call from Edward that he was in his way.He arrived, was very professional and went right to work. He took his time fixing/replacing our valve. Although the price was a tad high the quality of work was great! Edward cleaned up the area and left. Would recommend Abacus to anyone!! Thank you for a job well done!

Five stars for a prompt response and getting a high quality job done quickly. This latest time I call they reset the leaking toilet and bill my landlord! I never even had to deal with it. Last year they replaced the water heater, my energy bill went way down and the did a follow up call a year later to make sure it was all good which it was. The technician diagnosed the leak is coming from a leaky faucet. He charged me for the diagnosis and said he’d send a quote to install a new faucet. He was done in less than 30 minutes.

While the expertise of the owner and project manager was excellent, the scope of installing a neighborhood of sewer connections seemed to overwhelm the capabilities of the crew. Often times crews were left without full information, full supplies or direct supervision. Challenges presented by the City further complicated and prolonged the process. The result was a project that took longer than planned. I think McGinnis did well under challenging circumstances and would call on the again.
