Unfortunately, my water heater died. It was a little more than 9 years old, lived a comfortable life without many demands, but it had been sickly throughout its life. I'd had the thermostat replaced twice. Two years ago, the expansion tank blew at 4 am on a Sunday. Even though I drained the tank kind of regularly and have a water softener, there was always sediment in my hot water pipes. Alas, this morning my water heater gave up the ghost, (or maybe it happened over the weekend I was away.) Any how, I called the company that usually services the water heater first thing this morning and have yet to hear back from them. I called Reliant Plumbing and they scheduled an appointment for this very afternoon. Ray, my technician showed up early. Quickly pronounced the water heater dead, as I had presumed given that there is a lot of water in the drain pan and the pilot won't light. He would have replaced it for me today, but I have to go out this evening. He's coming back tomorrow folks. While he drained my old hot water heater, he replaced the clogged angle stops on two of my sinks. Yippee! The last time I asked a plumber about them I was told they'd have to make a second trip. I've never been able to get that plumber on the phone again. That plumber, we'll call him Festus, also left a pressure gauge on my outside faucet that I hadn't been able to remove. Ray took care of that too. To recap my Reliant Plumbing experience, same day appointment, showed up early, knowledgeable, professional and friendly! What's not to love about Reliant Plumbing. I will be recommending them to everyone.

Our water line broke several days ago. After I called Reliant, they showed up on time evaluated what would be involved. Came back on time to find our leak and fix the water. Matt Logan was awesome. Very profession and helpful. Dion was here also and was equally professional and helpful. We were so blessed to have these guys here. I recently hired Reliant Plumbing to hook up a gas line for my BBQ grill and I was extremely impressed with the technician, Mack. He arrived on time, was professional and courteous, and completed the job efficiently. He took the time to explain the process to me and made sure I was comfortable with everything before he left. I was very satisfied with the service I received and would highly recommend both Mack and Reliant Plumbing to anyone in need of plumbing services.
Drew and Don were very professional and efficient. We had an unexpected need to move a gas line and Reliant responded completing the job same day. We can move forward with our project with minimal delay. We will definitely use them again in the future if the need arises.

Reliant Plumbing has 312 reviews on Yelp at this time and 82 are 1 star. That says a lot! My experience with Reliant;They came out on a Friday for a toilet leak. They left after ~4 hours & $1,330. The leak was fixed but the stool rocked back and forth by a full inch! I have a video. The first time that someone sat on the stool, their caulk came apart. I called Reliant and they scheduled someone to be out on Monday.The Friday crew checked the clean out and ran a snake/router for clogs and they left the cap off the clean out. I didn’t find this out till Sunday when I was taking out our trash. The cap was off a 3 inch pipe all weekend! Something could have crawled into my house.On Monday, the plumber removes my stool and tells me they need an additional $2,600 to complete the repair. Total is $3,900 but they’ll credit the previous payment.I did not pay for the repairs. The Reliant plumber replaced the stool and left us with a rocking, but not leaking toilet. After he left, I checked the clean out. The cap was on but the plumber left a pair of channel locks.I have some experience with small business and I understand that all construction trades are in demand in Austin at this time. Probably, Reliant plumbing grew too fast and must be having trouble getting good employees. Good employees don’t leave the caps off the clean-out vents and good plumbers don’t leave tools at the job site.For me, I’m going with a smaller plumbing firm and ALWAYS check Yelp.Reliant Plumbing has 312 reviews on Yelp at this time and 82 are 1 star.

Fantastic service from booking to completion. This was the best service I have ever received from a plumber/plumbing company.The on-site plumber was Peter Ortega, he was fast, thorough, extremely competent and clean. He had very professional demeanor the entire time he was in our home and was polite and friendly.Additionally booking was amazing. I booked online at night, got a phone call from the office about 1 hour later. And was seen by Peter the next day. The office and Peter were both amazing to communicate with and kept me informed for appointment status the whole way through.After this experience I will be happy to entrust reliant plumbing with all my future plumbing needs.

Don with Reliant Plumbing was super professional and knowledgeable. He answered our myriad of questions regarding our leak. He indulged us in discussing the different options. He was very good at explaining why something would or wouldn’t work. It was a genuine pleasure dealing with a professional. We’ll certainly call them again for future plumbing needs.

Overall very happy with the end result, we have a working faucet and our pressure valve was replaced.Ray the plumber did a fantastic job and was able to address the issues we had. He was very knowledgeable and willing to address the issue that day. He is the reason for the 5 star review despite the challenges listed below that we encountered.Scheduling was not a great experience. We initially scheduled for same day (Monday). After a few hours, we were told they double booked and would need to move us to first thing Tuesday. After about 11 on Tuesday we received another call apologizing and they said we would be the first appointment on Wednesday. On Wednesday Ray arrived right at 8. Luckily I'm able to work from home, otherwise I would have had to miss multiple days only to be rescheduled.Pricing was not a great experience. We expected the price to be higher due to it being a larger company, but it definitely exceeded any of our guesses by a long shot. We unfortunately had no alternatives due to having little kids and not being able to go a week or more without water to the house.We initially paid $500 to replace the faucet cartridge. After some time it was determined that it was stuck and would need to be broken to be removed. Once we removed we were told it would cost $500 per hour to source the missing part or we could replace the entire unit which may take a few days to find. We chose to replace it fully to avoid being without water.The initial replacement was the wrong type (gpm did not match) and we had to wait for one to be ordered and installed the next day. Once the new one was installed we were experiencing an issue with our pressure and the only option was to pay an extra 300-600$ to remove an extra line added by the builder that may have caused it. At this point we had no other options and had to proceed in hopes it would resolve the issue. It was a quick fix which made the extra charge harder to accept.Warranty - it is still unclear what is under warranty and what was voided after everything was completed. We thought everything would be covered that was worked on, but the paper work in certain areas says otherwise.After all was said and done, it was a long process but we may still use reliant in the future if we have a very specific problem that we need help with as long as there are no ambiguous steps involved.

*Review UpdatedReliant Plumbing saved my holiday. Pipe burst during freeze the morning of a flight out. Reliant Plumbing answered my call at 7am and had a technician at the house in 30 minutes to close the main valve. Once we were ready to start work, they completed the job in 2 days with multiple modifications and inspections to make sure it was done properly and cost effectively.Drew was the amazing project lead but the whole crew was great. Got to meet 5 of Reliant's team during the job and all were friendly, engaging, offered solutions, advice, etc.Only thing we had trouble with was post repair as they have a policy of not talking to insurance companies. That's making my claim a bit challenging but overall good experience with Reliant.

I had a valve in our shower break. We called Reliant.The process was slow due to parts.However we were fortunate enough to have Reliant sent, Drew Ross, the 3rd time to fix our shower faucet. Drew is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to plumbing he knew what others did not, and how to fix it. If you ever call reliant asked for Drew Ross, he’s the best.

I have used Reliant on a number of occasions for different plumbing repairs. I have always been pleased with the service and work done. They often can come out the same day as my repair call and always arrive within the timeframe specified. Today Drew was the technician sent and he couldn’t have been more professional. He was attentive and took the time necessary to assess our situation. He was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. We received an estimate for replacing all of the cast iron plumbing in our small 1960’s house. I looked online to get an idea of where to start and saw great reviews for Reliant. I see their trucks all over town, too. From the moment I called the office, I felt pretty confident. Mack, the technician, was prompt and very helpful explaining all of the details of the work. We toured my house and made decisions based what is best for us. Plumbing is a scary thing to have to replace, but Reliant seems on top of the process, including permitting and inspections. We haven’t decided what we’ll do yet, but I would certainly start with Reliant again for any plumbing needs.
Jason was courteous and quick. The whole job took less than an hour and was done to perfection. He even walked me through some of the underlying issues, explained how he was fixing the problem, and gave good tips to prevent future trouble. Great work!

Logan arrived on time and took videos of what was going on with the leaks in our toilet. We also had a toilet with a broken tank. He checked out all of our toilets and let us know they had been recalled because of the tanks cracking and leaking. He also gave me the info to get in touch with them about our issue. They were very careful to not make a mess and cleaned up everything after replacing them. You would never know they were coming and going. It was a fantastic experience. He even checked out our other toilets and water heaters and gave us an estimate on those as well. I can't say enough great things about them.

I went to take a shower today and when I went to turn the shower on no water came out. I had no idea how to fix this so I called Reliant and Austin and Armando came out within an hour. They quickly diagnosed the issue and got my shower up and running. They were so kind and respectful. I will be using them again if I have any plumbing issues again.

Showed up early, got things fixed same-day, and was super helpful and responsive. Educated us on some things about our new house and the plumbing and overall a great experience! Highly recommend!

The good: Reliant was able to get to us the same day. Logan was helpful, and good at explaining things. Even though the job took seven hours, two plumbers, and a trip to the supply store, they were able to get us back into running water by dinner time. Much appreciated!The bad: After they left the water heater was making very loud noise, water was spewing out of a valve into our side yard, and the water pressure was comically low. So they had to come back the next day only to find they hadn't turned a particular knob after installing our expansion tanks.The worst: A week later something else broke (not their fault) and the plumber that came out to fix that indicated that we had paid Reliant more than twice what they would have charged for 2 expansion tanks and a pressure regulator.So on the fast, good and cheap pick two scale, Reliant is Fast and Good.
The salesman Curt came out within a couple of hours and was able to help figure out the issue and set up product and installers for the next morning. The installers Roman and Zach were able to install the water heater and fix gas line leak issues. Things were explained nicely and done professionally.David

Don from Reliant plumbing was absolutely awesome- quite unusually he was able to come out much sooner than promised. He found the origin of the leak that flooded my house, shut the line off, got the water connected, got me in touch with water restoration company, gave advice/ estimates about how to prevent accidents like this in the future. Definitely most highly recommended, and I will be using them from now on!

Reliant's tech Evan immediately came out, calmed my Stressed-Out wife who found water dropping from the ceiling and identified what was wrong (leak from water heater supply pipe in the attic). We used Reliant Plumbing for the first time. The service provided to us was EXCELLENT and VERY PROFESSIONAL. Ray was the technician that came out to our home to assess the problem with our water heater tank. We had a water leak into one of bedroom coming from our water heater tank in the attic around midnight which made us extremely nervous. We called just every plumbing company we could find online to see if we could get emergency service. My wife and I did not get much rest because we were worried about having a major water leak in our attic. We were able to catch the problem early and I used our Wetvac to suck out all of the water at the base pan of the water heater until we can get a technician out. Let’s just say we were waiting for replies from other companies, but I am sure they were busy too. So my wife reached out to Reliant Plumbing which replied and sent Ray out to our home. We did not know much about a water heater tank other than what we researched online. When Ray arrived we asked him a hundred questions and what he recommended to resolve the water leak problem. Ray was extremely paitient and answered all of questions no matter how uninformed we were about water heater tank. Ray’s knowledge and professionalism put us very much at ease because he took his time educating us on the problem. We found out that our water pressure was to high and bounced around the idea with Ray about getting a tankless water heater. We decided to change out our old water heater tank and convert to a tankless water heater tank because made it sound like Best and efficient choice. I would say Ray did not try to sell us on anything, but gave us options and we decided that it was the best investment for our home. Reliant Plumbing is a great company that has great people like Ray goes above and beyond in customer service. We will be getting our tankless water heater installed on Monday if all goes well, so I expect to be sharing another review once the work is done. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND RELIANT PLUMBING!! Had a pipe burst suddenly. Drew Ross came by and diagnosed the issue quickly. Provided options for permanent and preventative fixes at reasonable rates. Very transparent. Keeping his card for future fixes and recommendations (but i hope not to have to see him again).
Yuri & Austin were terrific. They were great at keeping me informed on everything that was happening, were very respectful to keep their work area and shoes clean, and they got the job done as quickly as needed. Which is great because I had other things to take care of today. These guys were exemplary. ?

Reliant was very quick to send someone out to fix our leak. The technician, Jacob, was really professional and even checked on a few other issues for us while he was out here.
I will never use this service from Reliant again. Their office just hung up on me when trying to get answers of why I have been waiting almost two weeks to have a job finished. My yard and driveway are dug up and unusable. I was told it would just be a few days to get inspection and do the last part of the job. Two no-shows during the process with this company, a surprise added $6,000 to the job in the middle of the project (I felt stuck but should have stopped payment and called another company). Unresponsive office and now hanging up on me when I called asking for an update. Do not use this company in my opinion.
We came home to a Luke warm water heater and a leak in the wall. Reliant came out the same day to quote, and fixed the issue the same day. They probably weren't the cheapest, but they were fast and extremely professional. I will certainly be calling them for any future. work.

Pilot light would not light on 19 yr old water heater, so called Reliant. Matthew came out in about 3 hours and diagnosed issue. I decided to replace it and another one which had hard water deposits in tank and was rumbling whenever the burners came on. Matthew wrote up the order and Yuri and Samuel arrived that afternoon to install new units. Yuri and Samuel were very efficient and professional. They kept us informed of their progress and cleaned up afterward. Yuri went around the house and checked all faucets for hot water before leaving.

We called this company as they appeared to be large enough to have a quick response. Our water heater was 5 months old and even though it was operating fine we were getting a error message and would have to reset the breaker. The technician advised us that warranty work had a rate of $400 an hour. That seemed excessive but he assured us he could easily repair. After I showed him the documentation on the suggested remedies for the repair he said he had spoken with his supervisor and would simply replace the heating elements to correct the problem. He came in later and said he had to run to his shop quickly. Long story short $850 dollars later we asked him to put it back together and leave as he was telling us we needed a new one at a cost of $3000.00. It never worked again. We had a master plumber out who discovered he had replaced our heating elements with old broken ones (pictures attached of original and his old broken ones). I guess he went to his shop to get the old ones. As a senior especially at this time during the pandemic I find this service appalling.

Original post: Mack did a great job! Kind and professional. I clogged the kitchen sink with pasta pretty good … so good he had to auger 2x. Poor guy! He got it fixed for the birthday party tonight though … and Im so grateful.Updated: Turns out Mack was not thorough. Within 10 minutes of him leaving I realized he left the dishwasher backed up. I was charged over $550 (was supposed to get $50 credit off $600 invoice for leaving 5 star review - yes $600 for a sink clog.). I was ok paying the higher rate for prompt and effective service… don’t get me wrong. But this was an obvious major kitchen sink clog which evidently affected the dishwasher - a common occurrence for a kitchen sink clog I would assume and something I would have thought a plumber would check before leaving the job. I guess Mack didn’t bother to check that. When I called back to ask for him to return (within about 10-15 minutes), I was told he was sent to another all hands on deck job and that a Reliant tech could come back out the next day to fix the “separate” dishwasher clog for an additional $150. NOPE. Now I feel ripped off and screwed over. I won’t call Reliant ever again.On to another plumber to try to make this birthday party happen tonight!*Changed from 5 Star to 1 Star.

Got an appt about 2 days after calling for an 8-10am appt. First plumber sat outside my house for 15 minutes, then drove inexplicably drove off. They rescheduled another one to come out between 4-6pm, but showed up around 2:30pm. Guy that showed up was nice, and finished the work in 15 minutes. 3-star review is partly for the scheduling weirdness, but mostly for the $467 to 15 minutes of work and a new flap for the toilet. Got to admit I have no idea why I agreed to that, but there you go. Next time I'll just watch a YouTube video on how to do it myself. Already ordered the $30 tool from Amazon.
Timely and kept us updated on arrival. This was the most thorough drain inspection I have had in 40 years of home ownership. Austin was very professional and pricing was completely transparent. Will definitely use again if a different problem arises.

Of all the top local plumbers, Reliant was the only one who responded to my plumbing emergency in a timely manner. Jacob was thorough, timely and professional - he even came out and had the issue fixed before any of the other companies could even call me back with an ETA. It wasn’t cheap, but we were grateful for the quality of service.

Looking to replace the filters on my whole home water filtration system - just replace the filters, nothing else. I supplied the filters and all parts so the estimate was for labor only. They quoted me just over $1,600. Based on his estimate of 3 hours to install, that broke down to well over $500 an hour! ATFKM? $500 an hour? Hard pass. Of course, they weaseled the $89 service call fee out of me. At these prices, I don't think Reliant is worth it.

We called out Reliant to install a birthday present I bought for my husband - a Phyn. When Don Stone got here there wasn't an easy way to install it without charging us thousands. He was very helpful in walking through the options that would be much less expensive. Also loved I could book online, I got notifications and they showed up on time.

He was on time and courteous.(A more detailed review after my second interaction follows)Background: Our water heater leaked and to stop the leak (the only way) I had to turn the water off at the mains. So we had no water in the house.Jason (Reliant Plumbing) was the first to come and inspect. He did explain the options (as noted above), and gave me an estimate of $3,171 for a 40 gallon gas hot water heater. That is a handful so I told him I need to call the insurance to see what they would reimburse. That is when the pressure tactics started - insurance contractors are ... etc. OK, fine.While we were waiting (on the call with insurance) I asked him if he could cut the cold water pipe going into the water heater and plug it (for a fee) so I could turn on the water mains. His response was no. I don't remember his exact words, but something like I can't because I will have to charge you ~$500 because that is what they want us to bill.The guy was at my house for over a half hour (left and returned with a coffee while I was on the phone) but wouldn't take a simple step to help a potential customer!Another plumber later in the evening plugged the pipe in 3 minutes for $50

Earlier this week our very old water heater sprang a leak, for the second time, and we called Reliant in the middle of the night and left a message. They got back to us quickly and sent Dustin, who installed a new heater that day. Something went wrong though and a part was faulty, causing us to take cold showers a day or two, so we called Reliant this morning and Dustin was here quickly. He fixed the issue after needing to drive back to the shop twice (in the cold and rain) for parts. Our water heater is working now and it’s all because he went the extra mile to get it done! Thanks!

Beware and ask for their plumbing license. Oh that’s right they don’t have one. Reliant plumbing Austin has been turned into the Texas Attorney General and Dept of Labor and the City of Austin. There will be no warranty for the work done as the company is broke and in deep debt.Google should look into the reviews originations. Most are not authentic.

I recently got plumbing work done by Reliant (fixing a water heater T&P valve, replacing a gas shutoff valve on a furnace, replacing H/C water connections to the washing machine, and some work on the gas line to the dryer). Reliant Plumbing is a total scam. Nothing against their worker Ryan. He was quick and did the job in a timely manner. However I feel that they totally price gauged me. They took a total of 7 minutes to change a small $10 dollar 1/ 2inch flexible pipe. It was 7:30 at night and I was pressed for time to get my kids to sleep and get to work. I didn't want to leave my pregnant wife with my two kids in the house alone as I went to work. I agreed to the price of $529 dollars and had no choice. I figured I would discuss with their customer service in the morning to try and clarify this price as I didn't have time to fix this issue before work; The girl that answered the phone and spoke with me was obnoxious and rude. I explained to her in a calm fashion what happened and asked her to explain the bill... She could not explain their rate, nor how he arrived at the price. She cut me off and did not let me explain. myself. She yelled and stated it was called convenience, convenience, convenience. I feel that they looked a my house and neighborhood and made the price based on what they think we could afford and not what it should cost. Very disappointed with them and would definitely not recommend them. She hung up on me and would not let me explain any further. I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau.

Nick and AB were amazing. I requested an 30 minute heads up call from Reliant and I received that. That is great service because I was able finish my errand and get back to meet them. They arrived promptly and with masks on. I appreciated that and when. went to mine on he also thanked me. They introduced themselves and were friendly. I showed them the faucets that needed repair and they were able to give me some great information on what hard water can do to faucets over time. I appreciated the information. My problem was my cold handles no longer turned on three faucets, so I was forced to use the hot water for everything. I called for a quote to fix a leaky toilet. They came out and attempted to fix it but couldn’t. They then told me that I needed to have my flange replaced and that they needed to chip concrete to do it. They charged me $500 for the visit and then quoted me $3k to replace the flange and then told me I’d need to call someone else to refill the concrete.I called one other plumber for a second opinion, they came out same day… quoted me $250 for the entire job.Had I not gotten a second opinion, I would have been unnecessarily out $3k…. I still had to pay $500 for the privilege of the quote.

Had an emergency appointment schedule with them - current issue is so bad we can't use the water anywhere in the house. After we received a notification that the technician was almost to our house for the service - they randomly let us know that they were cancelling our appointment and moving it to the next day, when we were already going to be gone out of town! Couldn't refit us in same day, I guess they have very few plumbers working on weekends. Be careful, DO NOT SCHEDULE something with them on the weekend unless you have a back up plan or its not an emergency!

My son noticed a puddle of water by our porch and I immediately knew that there was a leak in the pipe that bring water into the house from our water collection system. This was discovered on a Sunday evening, and by 2pm Monday afternoon was at our house, assessing the damage and repairing the pipe. Everyone I spoke with from the front office to the Travis was polite, courteous and extremely helpful. Travis was wonderful and got the line repaired within 2 hours. This is the first time I've used Reliant and I'd definitely use them again.

I came home from church to find out I had a leak in the yard on my side of the meter. Called a company mentioned by Crossroads and, after explaining my emergency, was told the earliest appointment was Tuesday! The second place I called was very unprofessional on the phone and I still haven’t heard back from them. Finally called Reliant after seeing reviews in the web. I was giving an estimated time of arrival between 12:00 and 2:00, which would have been fine. Well, here it is, 1:40, and they’ve been here, determined the problem, did repairs and are gone! I cannot say enough good things about Nicolas and Austin! Both were incredibly professional, explained everything step by step, including what possible issue might occur. Fortunately, no issues. The repairs were done leaving the pipes connected in a better way than they had been. And, I was pleasantly surprised at the total cost! If you ever have leaks, call Reliant first!

The main pipe to our indoor plumbing had cracked, so we shut the water off and was without it for over 48 hours. (I had called someone the day before but he no-showed.) Reliant responded to my text immediately and I was scheduled from 12 to 2. I received a text at 1:00 and Carlos showed up shortly thereafter. He immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it, spending nearly 2 hours in the 100 degree heat to do so. He was cordial, professional, and his work was impeccable. My first Google review. Wow this company is a real chop shop. My Irrigation back flow was leaking. Ray from Reliant came out and wanted to charge $1,700, ($400 for the part and $1,300 for labor). He said it would take him about an hour. I said that seemed really high and Ray said it was because… he’s worked hard to have his own business, also I live in Austin, and the price of brass is up. FYI The part I was $130 dollars at Home Depot. I have a business as well and that doesn’t mean you can take advantage of people because of where they live. Total rip off business

When my water heater stopped working on a Sunday, Reliant sent Jason out within hours to diagnose the problem. I did need to replace the water heater. He came back the next day and did a great job - especially since my unit was in the attic - not an easy thing. Both he and his apprentice Joachin were friendly, courteous, and great about answering all my questions. I felt like I could make an informed decision before we agreed to the work and I am very satisfied with the outcome. Thank you Jason. Asa was prompt, arrived within minutes of Reliant letting me know he was on his way. We called Reliant Plumbing after an issue where our son flushed something down the toilet. They made an appointment to come out the next day (less than 16hrs later). Davis was assigned to help us out and he was on time, professional, friendly and super helpful. He was here for a while and was able to resolve the issue with no problems. Would absolutely recommend this company and would use them again!
The plumber I hired to install a water heater last year did a poor job. They didn't properly insulate it or install a water pan drain line. It failed inspection TWICE. The company then ignored all of the subsequent notices from the city about the water heater not being up to code.I called Reliant and they had James G. here the next day. James was honest, up front and friendly. He did a great job explaining what the issues were and how he would need to get a second plumber out to help lift or possibly remove the heater as the first plumber had the drip pan drain facing the inside wall.It was a lot of work for James and Grayson, but they got the work done in a few hours and were respectful and courteous about it the whole time. I'll be using Reliant for any future plumbing needs.

BUYER BEWARE!!I called on Reliant because they are a few miles down the road and thought they would be the quickest to respond. They did respond quickly, after agreeing to a $89 response fee. The kids bathroom sink was clogged, it's the sink that the air conditioning system drains into, so for some reason it clogs up. Ray came in yesterday, said it's very common and that he would be in and out in a few minutes. He grabbed his ipad and asked me to sign off on the services before he started. WAIT FOR IT...$498. I was shocked. After a few choice words, (told Ray they weren't directed to him, but his company and their absurd pricing model). Told Ray that wasn't going to work, and he could leave. He said well I guess you aren't going to pay your $89 response fee...I said Yep because I agreed to it already. Paid and he left. Got on the phone and in 30 minutes had another company come out (COLD IS ON THE RIGHT), again another $89 service fee. Their charge $200, I agreed and he applied the service fee to the overall charge and was gone in 20 minutes. That's how it is suppose to work.I never write reviews, because I don't have time. I thought this was important to share my experience's for all of those single moms or people living paycheck to [paycheck.I should have known better, as i had them out earlier in the year to replace water lines on a clawfoot tub. The guy started at $950, I told him the part was $350 retail and I wouldn't pay anymore than $700, think we settled on $750. I guess the techs have the ability to charge what they want depending on the homeowners circumstances.I Know fool me once, but it wont EVER happen again.

Jason from Reliant Plumbing came out today to give us a quote on a water heater replacement. He was on time and professional. He diagnosed our problem quickly and gave us a fair quote.
Got ripped off with poor service. I used these guys to repair a leak from the water main going into my house. I actually dug down 3 feet to locate the leak myself. Then had them come out. They charged me $2,000 for 4-5 hours of work. Then they didn’t even fill up the hole again. They said they wanted to let the pvc glue settle and they would come back but they never did. I called and emailed them but they wouldn’t return messages. I started using ARS who has incredible service. Better prices too.
Jason was through and completely professional. He walked through the issues and made everything so clear.
I had total confidence in his professional recommendations. Felt safe and content.

Pros: They came out next day and showed up ahead of scheduleCons: They hide how overpriced their services are until after you pay a $250 service fee.What a ripoff. I have a main line water leak that I needed to have located. The office wouldn't give me any indication of pricing examples or estimation over the phone saying that the plumber would do that onsite. They assured me that the plumbers would show up with the right equipment for locating a leak. To their credit, they came next day and ahead of schedule. However, when I told the plumber the same information I had already given the office, his response was oh, if you don't know where the leak is, it will be hard. typically you should call a leak detection company. I told him that I didn't want to be stuck with the $250 trip fee if he wasn't equipped to solve the problem. He said, don't worry, you won't be charged for nothing. He then had to call his office to get instructions. They suggested digging up the main line to see if the leak is in the yard or under the slab. This is a good first step if you don't have more advanced equipment, but they wanted to charge $2,575 just to dig that line up. That price is outrageous for the time/effort involved. Probably the equivalent of $800-$1000/hr. He then proceeded to charge me the $250 service fee because he had suggested a course of action and provided a quote.

$578 to repair a very small leak on an outside pipe that did not even last 24 hours. Additionally, the tech looks to have used ABS Pipe (BLACK) vs. PVC Pipe (white). I'm not a plumber but from what I understand black ABS pipe is NOT suitable for water piping. So they came back out for a warranty call and got this fixed up. The photo provided with black pipe is what they initially fixed the pipe with, then cracked within 24 hours. The 2nd photo is the warranty fix which I'm much more confident with based on the fix. More so sharing to show the limited area that was touched for $578. Provided us a quote for a water pressure valve for $2k including labor. After the highway robbery of $578 to fix a pipe that cost me less than $50 to fix myself I figured I better get a 2nd estimate for the pressure valve. A nearby plumbing company provided a quote of $600 w/ labor for the pressure valve. Take it how you want or for what it's worth but $578 to fix a pipe this small is insanity to me.

Avoid reliant plumbing at all cost. I had a simple toilet install and they wanted $1,250 which is more then the cost of the toilet. I would usually install myself but I didn't want to void the warrenty. They wanted to charge a $40 service fee but we're willing to waive the fee for a positive comment. I rather pay then support a scam. You've been warned!

Steve Warren was our technician. We were very pleased (and relieved) that Reliant was able to send someone so promptly considering we were without water use due to the plumbing issue we were experiencing. Steve was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, thorough and fast. He provided quality service. I also greatly appreciated his kindness and patience in explaining the issues to me, answering my barrage of questions. This was our first experience with Reliant and we will use this company again.
While the company was very prompt and responsive their pricing is outrageous. I had a pressure relief valve on a water heater leak and was not in town to fix it so had Reliant Plumbing go out to fix it. I was charged close to $700 to have someone spend 30 minutes replacing a $30 dollar part. They do not provide an itemized receipt and simply state they set their prices for different jobs to “local standards”.

There was a water leak at our rental property. I called Reliant and they were able to get us on their schedule quickly. They also coordinated with QuickDry to remediate the water damage.Jason arrived on time Wednesday and identified the cause of the leak, it was the upstairs tub drain. He explained the cost and once I signed off he was able to fix the leak that day. QuickdDry was also there on Wed. removing the damaged sheetrock and setting up dehumidifiers.Jason recommended that since the tiles were already removed we replace the shower valves that were causing the shower faucet to drip. Jason returned on Monday to replace the shower valves, and check to make sure there were no other leaks. Jason repaired a small hole in a PVC pipe that was uncovered when the sheetrock was removed.I would recommend Reliant Plumbing.

Needed someone to look at my water heater, and they responded immediately. Called several others before and just got voicemails. Davis came out the same day and gave me different options to tackle the issue. Extremely friendly and professional and would highly recommend!
Good service, professional work, TERRIBLE PRICING!! I had Reliant install a kitchen faucet and sink drain last week. I supplied all of the parts. Jason did the work and he was excellent and efficient. He also checked a bathroom vanity faucet drip and said it needed new valve stems which he didn't have with him. The whole process took about 30 minutes. He came back the next day and installed the new valve stems which took about 5 minutes. The charge for the first day was $550 and $400 the second day. That's almost $1,000 for maybe 35 minutes work.I complained to Jason and he said the charges were company policy. I spoke to their office manager, Brooke, and she said that their rates were standard and even lower than others in the area. She credited my bill $100 but said that was all they could do. Bottom line: BEWARE hiring this company to do small plumbing jobs!! There are plumbers out there that will do this type service for much less.

BEWARE!! They made my tankless water heater issue sound way more complicated than it really was, charged me $500, then did 15 minutes of simple work I could have done myself. $500 for 15 minutes!! He charged me before the work and he and his office couldn't provide an explanation of why it would cost that much, but refused to refund anything. DO NOT USE as they'll rip you off!

We had a minor gas leak on a Friday afternoon. Reliant was the only company that was able to help us right away, scheduling an appointment for first thing on Saturday morning with Dustin and Alec. The technicians arrived right on time and I was able to track their truck and see a picture of who to expect before they arrived. It was great knowing exactly when they would be here!Once Dustin and Alec arrived, they were respectful, professional, and did a great job completing the work quickly and efficiently. Water heater stopped working so we reached out to several plumbing services. Reliant scheduled service the same morning and showed up on time. Had a clogged shower drain and I tried everything to fix it! Called reliant and they came out so fast! Mack was the plumber and he was very professional and nice. Very clean, fast service. And now my drain actually drains! Would recommend!!
I have to give them credit for being fast but besides that, I was disappointed. Given my water heater was out, we needed it replaced and fast. It cost us. The water heater was a 50 gal propane with a 6 year warranty. A Rheem 50 gal with a 12 year warranty at Home Depot was about $900 plus installation. My total cost about $3200 which is way out of line. Plus, I needed to replace my furnace filter today and the technicians had left a total mess - duct work untied to work and not retied, bags of grout move out of their way into the path to the filter replacement, trash from the install and spare parts not used. I won't use them again.

This company is great. I run the Lone Star School of Music and are always having kids flushing things down the drain. We had an issue with both of our toilets and reliant was able to come fix them on a holiday. Jason (tech) was fast, knowledgeable and even helped us find new toilets that would better fit our schools. Glad to have them in the neighborhood.
David came to our condo within a day. He was able to completely replace the toilet and base within a few hours. He had all the parts in his truck so there was no delay. Great service. Would recommend to friends.

Received an immediate text confirming service date and time. Received a text the day of letting me know our technician was on his way. They provided his full name and a photo. When Steve arrived he was friendly and professional. He provided a thorough assessment of the issue and was able to provide us a detail quote. Upon signing the quote he went straight to work and completed the job quickly but with thoroughness. We are extremely pleased with the level of service provided.
I found the whole staff to be friendly and professional. They were very fast. They came to our home with in a few hours after calling in the service request, and it wasn’t even an emergency . I especially liked how they sent a picture of the employee who was coming to our house. It was my wife who was home so I felt safer that she would know who to expect at our front door. We had a very small but difficult problem with a tiny window of opportunity to fix it each week because water had to be shut off to the entire 10 story building to do so. 3 different plumbers came out in the weeks before and were unable to do the work. Reliant came out and got it done in one try! Price felt little on the high side but we were so happy to finally be done with it we were happy to pay it. Would call again.

We had them replace all of our cast iron sewer lines from a Nader the slab to the street. A miserable thing to have to do but they made it as pleasant as possible. Good communication, accountability and all were very courteous. And I no longer fear the flush in our home!!Jacob, the man with the camera with the double M names who graphically explained it all, Brandon, Marshall, Chris, and Anthony and everyone who worked with us were wonderful! We would like to thank John and Reliant for their excellent professional service. Yesterday, the faucet in our kitchen sink stopped working and we realized, after looking under the cabinet, that water had flooded into the cabinet. Reliant was quick to schedule for the next day and kept us informed when John would arrive. We were thoroughly impressed at how John identified the problem of a clip that had not been installed properly. Before we knew it the faucet was working again and the best part was that we were not charged because it took only 3 min. Thank you very much for your help, professionalism and honesty. I called Reliant and they were able to schedule me in for an appointment a few hours later for a fill valve replacement. Michael was my technician and he was awesome. Friendly, communicative, and thorough. My only beef is with the Reliant office - when I called to make the appointment, I was told that they were unable to give me an estimated price range for the service (despite the fact that Michael used a connected iPad to pull up pricing for the service). I'd already purchased the replacement fill valve myself - $13 at Home Depot. Good thing I had - the service was $185 (even though it took under 20 minutes), but would have been $377 had I purchased the fill valve through Reliant. Not sure how you can feasibly mark-up a fill valve to nearly $200 when it costs under $15 at the local hardware store. That said, I wouldn't be so annoyed by the price if they'd just been up front about my options when I called.So, 5 stars for Michael. 1 star for Reliant's lack of transparency in pricing.

We had a leak in our irrigation system on the July 4th weekend and Reliant was the only company that felt the situation was as serious as we did. We had a water leak at the hot water heater and they were the only group to respond quickly. They got to the home within an hour or so. Quickly fixed the problem to prevent further damage. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is they charged over $400 for about 10 minutes work replacing a hose, a low cost part, but it was a Sunday night. They also called my home warranty company later in the week to help me file a claim.

Reliant sent someone out late when we were in a jam. Our sewage line had blocked and the bathrooms were at risk of flooding. Reliant stopped it before any damage was done. I would give them 4 stars for this aspect of their service.Their follow-up quote to fix the problem was approximately $2,300. (They stated they had to dig down an unknown distance until they found the blockage.) When I asked for details on the quote they did not respond so we sought a second opinion. A technician from another plumbing company came out to inspect the issue. He was able to fix the problem in 20 minutes and it cost us $160.Reliant will help you get out of a jam, but if they quote an expensive job, my advice is to get a second opinion.

Steve Warren was professional, courteous, thorough, and an overall wonderful repairman. I would absolutely recommend Reliant, especially Steve. Will definitely keep them in my contact list.
My appointment was scheduled for the morning and I was told that I would get a call first thing to give me some sort of idea what time they would arrive. Not only did that not happen but I called myself later and they told me they would still get back to me when they would be coming. I called two more times in the afternoon and in the final call I was told that they wouldn’t be able to come until the next day. My entire day was wasted and they didn’t have the courtesy to tell me upfront. I responded by telling them to cancel my appointment and I would never use them again. You have too many choices to put up with that kind of unprofessional behavior. I find it interesting interesting that their company is called Reliant as it is anything but reliable.
My water heater failed and Don came out same day (on a Saturday) and installed a new one, even though he wasn't going to finish until after dark. Then, when I wasn't sure if everything was running right, he came back out free of charge to make sure. Thanks for the great service Don.

This Reliant Plumbing is horrible and will take advantage of you.I never write reviews, but this company has so fired up. We had a shower that wouldn’t turn off because the cartridge needed to be replaced. They charged $450 to replace it and it took 10 minutes for the plumber to complete the job. The part costs $50 at Lowes and when I asked for a price break down on what the other $400 was for, they couldn’t provide it too me.When quoted a $450 job, you assume that it would be labor intensive than a 10 minute task. We called a complain to the manager and it sounded like he received these phone calls all the time. He didn’t care. They have no problem ripping off consumers.After this ordeal we did call around and asked for estimates from other companies. The price ranged from $150 to $250.Avoid this company.
I just had John come out to check out a leaky valve in my laundry room. He was courteous, nice, and very knowledgable. Was also in and out in nothing flat. Great guy. Will use again, and highly recommend.

Dustin at Reliant has been a terrific help to me living in an older 'charmer' house with lots of plumbing challenges. He is unfailingly polite, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to have in my home while he is working. Can't say enough good things. This past trip wound up being a day long fix, complete with a yard dig. They left my home and yard as they found it. His assistant Alec was as courteous and friendly and hardworking as Dustin. Hire these folks if you need some plumbing help!
Had a kitchen drain pipe literally break off in my hands and it is 3 day before Thanksgiving. Reached Brook at Reliant and she was able to dispatch Jason out the following morning. Brook maintained excellent contact and communication regarding Jason's arrival and he was extremely informative and proficient when he saw the issue. He was able to complete repairs within less than 2 hours including snaking the 63 year old drain pipe out. I jokingly asked if the water was suppose to swirl like that as I hadn't seen it do that for a long, long time. Thanks Reliant.
What an unprofessional and overpriced bunch folks whom over charges you by 3-4X what a normal plumber charges. Please don't waste your time and have them out. They quoted me a price of 4X of what I have had another plumber charge me in the past year for a clogged drain.I appreciate the owner responded. I do want to let the owner know that, I had another competitor of yours come out the next day. Your quote was for $450, the other plumber showed up and fixed the problem in under 30 minutes and it cost me $100. For comparison, I had to pay your plumber $90 for the estimate. So you need to really dive in to what sort of competition is out there. If you like money and want a plumber to do the work necessary without overcharging you, call someone else.
Reliant did an excellent job on our new sewer line in South Austin. Not only did they deal with some hard-to-schedule tenants, they did the full job in a day so our tenants had minimum disruptions. Price was competitive and they were excellent to communicate and work with. Definitely using these guys again!!!

After the snowpocolypse in Austin I had at least five repairs I needed fixed. Stephen was on time and had all of the repairs done in under an hour and was able to troubleshoot something under my sink that another previous repair man could not. This is definitely one of those companies that I will keep in my back pocket from now on and would easily refer.
Ray came out to check on our plumbing for our new build and was really helpful, more helpful than our own builder. They gave us a great price.
Called around 8:15 in the morning and was told the earliest they could get someone out was around 10 a.m.. That's cool! Justin showed up at 9:40 a.m.. Even cooler!We agreed to the price of the job and Justin began the work. He discovered the parts on his truck wouldn't work and stated he would have to go get them. I have done this exact job myself before and knew the parts were kind of a pain to find. That's a big reason why I called the plumber. Having had plumbers say they needed to go get a part before, I kind of expected a half day wait. Nope, Justin returned about 30 minutes later and finished the job.I would highly recommend Reliant Plumbing, and in particular Justin. Quick, reliable, efficient, and super friendly!

The company booking , plumber, and quality of work were all fine as well as the plumbers knowledge and ability. Where this company went wrong was price gouging. I was charged over $320 for 3 minutes of work. They took advantage that I was desperate and lacked knowledge about common plumbing items. While the money was significant for me, I don’t mind paying for good work and quality people and an honest days work. This is where I was let down. My dishwasher had a clogged drain which could potentially have been multiple issues and while you are given an estimate and required to sign an agreement, I took it on good faith I was being given a fair quote. My plumber too less than 3 minutes to fix my issue. This was something that wasn’t found after investigating, they were already aware of what could be wrong as any skilled person on their job would be. 320 for 3 minutes worth of work. Unbelievable. Not only did I feel greatly taken advantage of but felt sick at being scammed. This company will take advantage of you. I’ve had plumbers that have good honest quotes and others that name a ridiculous price to take advantage of people. At the quality this company portraits thus should have been inexcusable. There are ways to make sure your clients and technicians are both payed well for their time and skill without resorting to these type of tactics. Again , the booking process and plumber were all high quality , but the service and morales of this company are at the bottom. Unless you have a very urgent and difficult issue that you cannot solve on your own , still call another local company that wants to keep your business and come back for more. I cannot and will not call this company again based on what they did , not can I recommend them to anyone else as they may be taken advantage of as well.

High points for Reliant Plumbing in Austin. I've used them before and was happy with them, so I called them again today when my bathtub leaked all over the floor. When I called, they knew who I was right away, and she was so friendly and nice on the phone. Bobby showed up in like 15 minutes, I couldn't believe how fast the response was. I had Reliant send a plumber to look at a leak that I had already isolated but did not have the tools or experience to fix it. It was a small leak in a 3/4in copper tube that needed to be cut out and replaced. Probably 45min worth of work. He quoted me 973$ !!! I politely declined and had to pay a 150$ trip charge for their plumber to come out and give me an outrageous bid and to leave. There was no diagnosis because the issue has already been discovered. I could not believe it. Talk about price gouging!! I will never call them again

Max responded to my call after hours to our water heater that was shot. He came that night and diagnosed it at no charge to me. Came back the next day with his guys and changed it out. Greatly appreciate his responsiveness with every step of the way even when we had problems after the install with sediment in our lines. Thanks again, Max and Jerry! Stephen came out to the house quickly to fix a drain, surmised that the drain has cleared and fixed the pipes. Could have charged us the full draining fee but was totally honest that we didn’t need it. Friendly and honest, definite recommend!

Great experience with Reliant Plumbing. No one else would come out same day to fix our leaky kitchen faucet causing water to spill out into our cabinets and all over the floor. Max was at our house within 2 hours. Plus, once we realized we needed a new faucet, he came back the same day to install it. For fast, quality service call Max at Reliant Plumbing!
Ryan did an excellent job of repairing my tankless water heater. He showed up early and was both courteous and quick in assessing the problem. The repair was less than when I previously had to have work done on my tankless water heater, so that was another pleasant surprise. I will be using Reliant Plumbing again.

Hunter came to help us as an emergency within 1.5 hour on a Sunday and Bobby came the next day to look further into the issue. We had called about a dozen of other companies to help us out and none could come within less than 4 hours. The guys at Reliant Plumbing are absolutely fabulous! They were super courteous and professional, found the issue very quickly and cleaned up after themselves (which we find very rare with plumbers these days...) They'll definitely be our to-go plumbers from now on.

Max and his entire team at Reliant Plumbing exceeded our expectations on every part of our very detailed and complicated plumbing project. We recently bought a home that needs some serious work - so many things not up to code, hooked up incorrectly, broken, etc. Reliant Plumbing took care of everything so efficiently and at a reasonable price. Max is very upfront and honest about what needs to happen, and he tried to save us money without cutting corners. Needed to unclog a drain and install a new garbage disposal. Reliant competently achieved both in less than 1 hour for $823. Usually only top end attorneys charge that much for an hour of work. Lack of value drops them from a 5-star performance.

We feel grossly taken advantage of by Reliant Plumbing. We would not recommend their services to anyone. Instead, we would advise you to avoid them all together.My partner and I were out of the country for work and had a young woman house sitting while away. She called Reliant due to running water in the tank of one of the our two toilets. This could have been fixed simply by adjusting or ‘jiggling’ the handle/chain to ensure the seal was sitting properly to stop the running water. In our opinion, the goal should have been simply to stop the leak until they could speak with the owners of the home. Instead, Reliant took the opportunity to ‘rebuild’ the entire tank on both toilets as it was the ‘best solution to ensure like new operation.’The less than 1 ½ hours of work and the 40-50 dollars worth of material that was used was billed to our sitter at $800. These toilets are 30 or 40 years old. We could have purchased and installed 2 brand new toilets for less than the cost that Reliant Plumbing charged to repair the existing ones. In reality, this should have been a 30 second fix. MAYBE a $3 seal or chain would be needed.On top of all of this, the running water continued over the weekend after $800 of work was completed. Our house sitter called Reliant to make good on their warranty and fix the running water - they would not come service the work that they did– they ‘could not ensure that the running water was related to the work that they completed’ over the phone, so they would not send someone to verify at all. The entire tank was rebuilt as outlined in their invoice (for like new operation!) Unless the toilet seat is causing the water to run inside the tank, the issue lies with the work that was completed with Reliant.We cannot stress how disappointed we are with the work and experience we received with Reliant Plumbing from start to finish. Our experience has shown them to be greedy, dishonest and unreliable.An update:An update to my experience with Reliant Plumbing. It gets worse.After posting my review, I speak with the Office Manager. After talking through what has happened, I learn that their policy is to not service a home with someone that is not the homeowner. Our house sitter was clearly not the homeowner, and beyond that, I was able to Face Time with the plumber and house sitter in the middle of the work. I requested that the plumber stop the work as I, the homeowner, did not authorize Reliant to service the home in general, especially for an outrageous cost of $800.I now have an even lower opinion of the company and the character of their leadership.Next, I receive a call from the owner of the company, Max. He called to listen to a customer satisfaction issue and stated that he wanted to help rectify the situation if he could. I wish he would not have called. When asking for consideration in an uncommon and unique situation, he proved to be aggressively defensive, short tempered and extremely unprofessional. After raising his voice at me, when he called me to hear my side of the story, he said that he needed 10 minutes to collect his cool and gather his thoughts and hung up. I never received a call back, and just received an email from the office manager stating that there is nothing that they would do.He confirmed that the cost of parts was less than $50 and that less than 1 ½ hours of work was completed. $800 later, MY TOILET IS STILL RUNNING. Yet he ensures me that their work is quality and fair, in line with the market.Does anyone else think that $800 is reasonable to install a ~$20 flush valve in two toilets separate toilets?I am at a loss of words to adequately express my discontent with this experience. I feel completely taken advantage of.

I had an outside faucet that had some how cracked and it was spraying water everywhere. I called Reliant Plumbing and Bobby stopped by shortly after. We are impressed how Reliant was able to come promptly and the same day to repair our leaking garbage disposal. Dustin and Ryan were quick in diagnosing our problem and fixing our problem with a quieter and more efficient garbage disposal.

Bobby Lee came out to replace our broken auto-fill line for the pool. He took the extra time to explain how we should care for the line when temps fall below 32 degrees. Customer service skills he displayed will cause us to not hesitate to call Reliant again if we have plumbing issues.

Had a pinhole leak in some plumbing in the wall behind the kitchen sink. I opened up the wall and exposed the plumbing. The Reliant technician debugged the issue and said there was one leak in the line. Quoted me $1040.00 to cutout 10 of copper line and replace it along with a new cutoff valve for the kitchen sink. Seemed like a crazy high estimate, but I regrettably authorized it. Once completed and the water was turned on, another leak was exposed approx 4 below where the repair was made. I was then quoted $4300 to replace approximately 6 feet of copper line. Needless to say I said no way. They then insisted that i must still pay them in full for the job that they completed. Wow, they weren't even ashamed that their debug was incomplete and the repair was totally ineffective. I will never call Reliant for anything again.

Jay H. did a professional job on moving a pipe in the wall. He also installed faucets and drains in addition to seating a toilet. Plumbing is always expensive, no matter who a person uses. It's even more expensive to have the job done incorrectly, and to fail later. It's better to hire a company like a Reliant from the get-go, that way you know you're secure with licensed and insured plumbers.

Money is precious!! They want ALL of yours!!! It was two days before my family is to leave town for the holiday, and we notice we have water standing on the side of our yard from the street to the back yard. We call Reliant Plumbing because I knew the owner and we had respect for each other. A plumber came to my home and evaluated the area where the water was, and told us that “it is going to be a big job! We are going to have to dig all of this section of yard clear back to here, very large area, to find the leak!” Once we find the leak, we are going to have to use enough line to connect it to the nearest water connection on the house, which doesn’t look like you have on the side of the house, so we may have to wrap it to the back! We were thinking, oh no this is going to be very expensive. And we had to leave in 2 days on a trip! He told us the job would take approximately 3 days to complete. We asked him to let us know how much this was going to cost. He worked up an estimate for $10000.00. We thought we had lost our minds. He had told us that the owner would work with us once the work began. He asked for half up front to start the work and the remainder once work completed. We didn’t know what to do but let them fix the leak. I did not think someone I respected would do this to me!They came with their equipment, dug a trench from the street about 40 ft and found the leak within 3 hours. They replaced the line, water turnoff valve, and a pressure meter, and job completely finished within 5 hours! No adjustment to the price. I was told by one of my many conversations with the company staff that people need to understand what plumbers do and give them the respect they deserve. That is what I was told when I tried to negotiate that price that was for more work than was done.And NO!!! You did not take care of this in January!! This is NOT a settled matter!!! You have robbed me and my family of our money right at Christmas time, and you should be ashamed!!! You have horrible business practices and you don’t care how you treat people and you have NO conscience about it whatsoever, and that is terrible! I feel terrible for those customers that you have done the same thing you have done to me!! It feels really hurtful!! $10000.00 to replace a water leak that took 3 hours to fix is killing me inside, but I have to eat it! Thanks for the hurtful feelings you have made me feel!
Very professional operation. Worked with me on a time window, and notified me when service rep was enroute. The text message included a photo of Steve Warren, our rep, which is a reassuring thing when answering the door. Steve addressed our problem efficiently and honestly. He was personable and friendly. I believe we have found our plumber.

Max is one of my wonderful neighbors, so when I needed someone to take a look at my tankless water heater and replace one of my toilets I didn't hesitate to call him. I have been calling plumbers all day and once I called Reliant I felt like I got the right place. From the moment they answered the phone I was greated by a pleasent person who answered the phone, they truly listen to my concerns and problems. Their prices are outrageous. I was charged $510 for a job that took less than an hour. The technician made the job sound like it was going to take 3 plus hours, so the price initially sounded fair. When he was out of the house doing actual work of less than 50 minutes, I couldn't believe it. What am I paying a 20 something year old over $500 a hour for? I would never call this company back.

I recommend Reliant Plumbing. We have used them for several different issues. A few years ago, they were the only ones to answer the phone on New Year’s Eve when the water in our bathtub wouldn’t turn off! They are always quick to respond, prompt, knowledgeable, and professional; Dallas was all of that today!
I had a pipe burst in my bathroom and called reliant. They sent some out immediately who was able to fix my broken pipe without destroying my brand new bathroom. Ryan was efficient in not only time but quality. I was also extremely happy that they were affordable and didn't break my bank like a lot of other plumbing companies. I can't thank them enough!

Dustin and Asa were fantastic. They went above and beyond to help me diagnose a mysterious jump in my water bill. Most plumbers would have stopped with It's the sprinkler system. Dustin and Asa weren't satisfied and actually figured out which zone, which part of the yard and exactly how many gallons were being lost with each cycle. Calculators were involved. I am the most satisfied I've ever been with a plumber experience.

They are awful. Exploited our time of need and charged us $ 527 for clog removal service (they worked in a very messy way and didn't clean up after them) that we later found out wasn't removed (the problem came back). We had to call a different company and when we asked to be reimbursed they refused. They use predatory pricing and tactics - take your business elsewhere!

These guys are just amazing. I used them a couple times. Once on a emergency water main break repair and the other day I had them install a new water heater for my house. They are honest, trustworthy and stand by their work. I can’t say enough good things about this company. They even send out licensed technicians with years of experience! Jason and his team arrived on time as they were supposed to. I appreciated that they could give me an appointment when others were out a few weeks.
We have had issues over the years with leaking pipes under the sinks. Mack came and checked every sink in the house and fixed all the minor issues that were never reported by our previous renters.
