SALT Plumbing, Air & Electric (formerly RSM) was formed in 1984. We started out small but strong-minded, performing parking lot lighting maintenance and repair. Kathleen and John McCarthy acquired this company in 2008. They expanded the company to include electrical contracting services, new construction, remodeling, and sign installation and repair.

Great experience! Super knowledgeable and informative. Have a new build and my AC system hasn't been working effectively and efficiently, since we moved in, finally got tired of calling back the company who installed it without ever getting it fixed and reached out to SALT! SUPER glad I did!

We have been utilizing SALT to replace our parking lot lights, capital projects, for all of my apartmentnow I can confidently depend on our assigned project manager to provide the answers needed. The biggest game changer is that now I have one source of truth!! They can handle all of our HVAC, Lighting, Electrical, and etc. needs without having to deal with 3+ various contractors. In the middle of our lease-ups, when you are already above your head- it is a true blessing to have SALT as a partner!! They eliminate the “hassle” that our Assistant Project Managers would handle; without having to reach out to 3+ various service vendors for light, hvac, and many other projects both small and large. Their quality, timeliness, and urgency on their project deliverables is the gift that keeps on giving!! Truly provides us and anyone else the work life balance we all are seeking in our role!
