I do appreciate S&D coming out to check on my sump pump the day I called, and the agent was nice. However, the phone agent said it would be a free consultation and then the agent who came ran my hose to the pump and watched it work, and said the issue was likely a power outage. He then charged me $250. This was more than expected, and more than the value brought of the “diagnostic”, and was disappointing for my first try of this company.

I have used A&T plumbing for many tasks over the past years. Pierre and team have installed two new water heaters, installed dishwasher, replaced toilets, etc. They are always dependable, on-time, professional and overall just do quality work. They also do not push jobs on you or try to scare you into doing work that is not in the customer's best interest. It is great to see small business being run with such integrity. Highly recommended.

Now that Mr. Rooter's fixed my shower, I can properly shower them with praise! Okay, lame pun, but my point is that Mr. Rooter are Austin's best plumbers. They did a fantastic job fixing up my shower, which seemed to me to have been a lost cause.

While on the highway in bumber to bumper traffic, I got flicked off by someone who also proceeded to cut me off with no blinker in a L&P plumbing truck. This caused the truck to then be stuck right in front of me in traffic for me to get all of the L&P information from the back of his truck. This truck also had a Planet K sticker so you know whoever drove this truck is a pot smoker probably high on the job. License plate JWH0151. I know I will never be contacting this company for any plumbing services and will make it a point to let people know of their unprofessional behavior.

I’ve been a customer for about ten years. Ted always does what he says he will do and is reasonably priced. What he fixes stays fixed. Trust is important and I trust him completely.

I called this company on January 27th and the arrived on time to unclog my kitchen sink. 5 days later it started to clog again so I called the technician and he told me that since it was not clogged all the way warranty would not apply. I sent an e-mail to them and they replied promptly and told me the were going to send somebody to my house on Tuesday February 7th around 1 Pm to handle the issue. I took my lunch hour and went home and they didn't arrive so I call them and they said the were behind and they will make it home around 3PM, told them that was not an option for me as I had to get back to work. We then agreed they were coming out after 5pm, I told them specifically that I get out of work at 5pm an that it takes me 20-25 minutes to make it home. Well, they showed up at 445 pm knowing I was not at home and they left shortly before I arrived home, My son told they rang the bell but they did not call me on my cellphone, I called the tech and he confirmed he had just left my house and said he could not return due to traffic. things happen right? so I asked him if he could home the next day(yesterday) and he agreed. he told me it would have to be during business hours so I told him I could be at home by 425-430 pm and he told me he would be there, so yesterday I worked 7 am to 4pm instead of 8-5 pm to be at home for the technician and he did not show up. I sent an e-mail and the reply was we went to your home yesterday and you were not there so you have already missed the free warranty trip that we allow. nobody even bother to call me yesterday during the day to let me know they were not coming. I cooperated every time and they never even acknowledged or mentioned the fact that I was at home as agreed initially during my lunch hour and they missed it. I had high hopes on this company and they failed me. Stay away from them!!

Absolutely went above and beyond! Dominick L. is the very polite, professional and knowledgeable plumber who worked on replacing our two water heaters. We had more than a couple of glitchy existing conditions, for each of which he offered very good solutions and stayed working at it, even when it was more involved than initially expected- and our quote stayed the same.I will definitely be a repeat customer for any other services they offer and Dominick is now my go-to plumber ??

We have been customers of Plumb-Quick for many years and cannot recommend them highly enough. They have replaced water heaters, unclogged drains and with my recent bathroom renovation they did all the plumbing work. They installed the new bathtub, toilet and re-piped the vanity from a single sink to two. You will not be disappointed in their work. They are fast, responsive and very reasonable. A great company to work with!

Edward came out to fix a broken water pipe and tub spout. He was professional and did a really great job. Communication was clear and easy, he showed up on-time, and got the job done quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend going with Abacus for plumbing needs!

A visit and evaluation was made and I was charged but no resolution was made. It was accessed that the job could not be performed because the tools were not on hand. I was also informed that if that was the case then the 89 charge would not be needed but I was still charged. I clearly explained the situation on the initial call. If it was clear it couldn't be done based on that conversation then I would not obviously used the service or required the visitation. I cannot review performance of work because no work was done.

My kitchen sink was backed up and they came out quickly. The plumber was a nice guy and explained the repairs to me. I think i got a fair price and it was done quickly.

Water heater maintenance

Another plumber told me that I needed to replace my water heater. One of the thermostats and elements had gone bad. Jim was able to replace the parts without costing me the expense of getting a new water heater. I was so happy not to have to pay thousands of dollars. Jim is truly a nice person and knows a lot about plumbing. He's very easy to talk with and takes the time to diagnose the problem and make sure everything is in good shape. At every step he explained what he was doing and why it was necessary. You won't go wrong if you call Jim.
