Did Rooter Man do a good job? Yes, they did the job requested, which was to install 5 toilets at our business that had been removed in the course of new flooring installation.Did they price the service fairly? No. We are in the process of getting new floors installed. Our flooring company removed 5 toilets. We asked Rooter Man to install the 5 removed toilets after the flooring company was done. It was planned and not emergency service. For 2.5 hours of service and 5 new wax rings with new bolts they charged $854.91. At Home Depot, you can get 5 new wax rings with bolts for $8 each for a total of $40. So, if you subtract $40 from $854.91, you get $814.91. $814.91 divided by 2.5 hours equals $325.96 per hour. My attorney charges a little bit more than $325.96 per hour. In my opinion, the plumber should not be charging a labor rate on par with my attorney. Therefore, Rooter Man is drastically overpriced. The sad thing is that we told Rooter Man that we have 11 toilets at our business and that we would very likely use their services many times in the future since many of our students have a tendency to flush foreign objects down the toilet. Unfortunately for Rooter Man, we will be directing our business elsewhere in the future and we will encourage many of our fellow business owners to do the same.

The Reliant office was available on Sunday when I called to make a next day appointment. Mack arrived on time. and diagnosed the issue with professionalism. When I had questions about the estimate, the office answered in a professional way. The leak was fixed very quickly. Recommend Mack and the Reliant team.

They do good quality work and show up at appointments. They need to work on making their quotations and invoices more precise by using building terminology consistently. I wish they were less expensive, but this is Austin. I will use them for all my plumbing needs in Austin.

I didn't like their service and didn't feel comfortable with their level of honesty and integrity. They charged me 410 dollars for re-installing a toilet and they told me it will leak until I replace brass toilet flange by pulling and resetting which would cost around 4000 dollars. I will not rehire them.

We had a very slow drain in our bath and decided to fix the issue ourselves, but our solution didn't work. The tool that we used got stuck in our drain and we couldn't remove it so it was stuck. Boo!We needed some professional assistance and we are very grateful that Roto-Rooter sent Andre Sr. to help us! He was patient and understanding and said this was a common issue that happens. He provided us with an estimate and explained to us the cost and even drew a rough sketch of how the pipes were connected and where the tool might be stuck. This explanation/estimate took about 10 minutes and it was time for us to make a decision whether to have Andre Sr. proceed with the fix or not. At that point my husband and I tried again to remove the tool from the drain and luckily it came out! It was a happy ending for us and saved us money! With that said, Andre Sr. provided us a clear explanation/estimate and had a great attitude! I hope that Andre Sr. continues to be successful and we wish him well. Thanks Roto-Rooter for sending a highly qualified individual to our home!

In short too expensive and went with Clark Kent instead. Spent over $1000 testing for a leak when I called for a leak near my foundation with obvious signs of water. They never found it so planned to come back for another $1000 day. The tech never wore a mask and came down with a “viral infection” so they couldn’t show back up. Good thing I called Clark Kent Plumbing in advance. This plumber started to dig right away, found the leak and patched it all before noon. It was half the price.

I called Redbud Plumbing after unsuccessfully trying to fix a slow-draining bathtub. From the moment I spoke with Chris, I was impressed. He was kind and professional and gave me an ETA. Dilan arrived on time, quickly solved the problem, and showed me the culprit—an old-school stopper that was stuck in the overflow drain. I'm thankful to have been referred to them.

Consumer beware. We hired Good Flow for an inspection and they lied to us about our plumbing and over quoted us. We had to get a second opinion and sent out a second company. The second company confirmed we didn't have any issues with photos. Anyways, long story short, I highly do not recommend Good Flow. I don't want anyone to go through the horrible experience we went through. This is a shady company and trying to make money using scared tactics. Also, read other people's reviews as their stories are very similar to mine. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE USE THEM! THEY ARE CROOKS!

Al was professional, knowledgeable, and provided the best response time out of the 10 calls I made. Al came out to hook up our gas stove and install a disposal. He is a Master certified plumber and goes the extra step to ensure a quality job. He is also very pleasant and personal level which is great when someone is in your house for a few hours working on multiple jobs. Al owns the company so he has a lot of stake in his work and it’s shows in his craftsmanship. He answered the phone vs me having to talk to a call center operator and then wait for someone to review my call. He also gave me transparent pricing up front vs many of the big brands that would not give me a clear hourly estimate for service. I didn’t want to enter these projects blindly so I appreciated knowing a ball park range of what to expect. We will be using Al Mac for all future plumbing jobs and so relieved to have found an honest expert plumber. Avoid the big companies and go with Al!

A word of warning to my neighbors. My experience with Austin Plumbing has been terrible. First......they put in a natural gas heater in a house fitted for propane. I found out after that it was downright dangerous and a code violation. That was in August last year. Second.....this February I called them because hot water stopped again. No response. So I called Cold Is On The Right Plumbing who came over immediately and diagnosed the problem. But they kindly referred me back to the original company since the heater was still under warranty. But.....Austin Plumbing just asked me to contact the manufacturer myself. So I was forced to hire Cold Is On The Right to remedy the situation.....which they did.I am disappointed with Austin Plumbing, not so much for the initial mistake made but for not being upright and forthcoming about it. Without honesty and accountability nothing else matters.
