They do good quality work and show up at appointments. They need to work on making their quotations and invoices more precise by using building terminology consistently. I wish they were less expensive, but this is Austin. I will use them for all my plumbing needs in Austin.

Well, I am very, very, very, VERY impressed. I had to have a lot of work done on a property I plan to lease. That meant painters, electricians, cleaning, and, of course, plumbers. Out of all the plumbers in Austin, I happened to call Mr. Rooter, and lucky me: I called the best! :) They tackled a difficult and extensive job and finished it up wonderfully and speedily. I'll be ready to lease in no time!

They sent someone out as fast as promised, and our tech, Eric, was very helpful. Even when he had to dig with a shovel to find the buried clean-out pipe the previous homeowners covered over with groundcloth! He was professional, friendly, and explained what was going on every step of the way, with advice on how to avoid future problems of the same sort. Highly recommended.

Thank you Stephen for being so helpful during this Stressful time for us. When the gas was shut off because there Was a leak we called AAA Auger and they were here before the gas company had pulled away from our house to begin the search for the leak

Thank you, for getting my wedding ring back!!!I highly recommend this company / plumber, first I called another company and they right away said a plumber needed to come out and resolved. I then called this company and the person who took my call directed me to the plumber himself who gave me some advice before even suggested to come out. At the end he resolved my problem and was extremely professional. Will continue to use their services in the future.

Underground waterline leak was found in my front yard and I called more than 10 plumber companies in the morning and nobody was available until I found Austin Plumber. Joe came on time, friendly, experienced and skillful. He was able to locate the leak spot very quickly by his 30 years experience, which I thought might be time consuming and painful and already prepared for the worst case scenario - dig all the way along the waterline until we find the leak spot. Luckily, he found it easily just by several shoveling. Joe clearly explained the root cause to me, replaced the pipe joint and even provided a lot more suggestions for the future maintenance. The last but not least, the price they charge was pretty fair and reasonable compared other big plumbing company that could rip you off. I would strong recommend Austin Plumbery to be your top plumber.

Derrek came over for a scheduled seasonal inspection; we bought the house in 2020 and never had the A/C checked out. After attempting to use a local home-grown Texas company whom never showed up, my wife decided to call Goettl. Derrek was amazingly professional and incredibly knowledgable. I had taken a basic physics class in high school and do understand a small amount about refidgeration, as well as a small amount about power consumption/basic electronics.Derrek was able to confirm my suspicions that one of the previous owners installed an oversized system, and then proceeded to explain how they made it work by having a sightly higher high-side pressure to achieve the desidred low-side performance, as well as the negative impacts of this configuration, complete with pictures of the black stuff in our ventilation as a result of the excess condensation. Derrek also informed us that the return was too small for an R410a system, where it would be passable for the original R22 system that would have came with the house.Derrek noticed a drip bucket was filling and identified the plubing for the condensation runoff, noting that the drip bucket should not be filling, indicating that the primary drip line was clogged, he cleared that issue. Finally, Derrek consulted us on the installation of a new system, giving us information we could use to weigh our options.it is very likely we will use Goettl again, and request Derrek specifically, and very likely we will use Goettl to install a new, appropriately sized indoor and outdoor system.Derrek performed too much work to list in a google review, but siffice it to say, we are extremely impressed with the quality of service and professionalism.

I just want to give a shout out to Stan's Heating and Air. I have been using their services for many years actually back when they were Strand Bros. Anyway, recently I had an issue with my A/C unit I put in a request on-line and they scheduled me for the next morning which was fantastic considering this heat wave. Right on time Marshall Harris showed up and fixed the issue within an hour or so. Marshall was extremely knowledgable, professional, respectful, and very courteous. He wore a mask which I was very grateful for as someone in my household is getting Chemo. This company without a doubt the best in Austin and I highly recommend for all your heating, AC and Plumbing needs. Thank you Stan's.

Charged for the estimate, did not provide an itemized quote and wanted $375 for a 1 hour job that required no parts. Will never use again. That said they did fix the problem, the work was of good quality and the plumbers were professional. But $375 an hour for an estimate and repair is an unreasonable price for what should be expected of a reputable plumbing company.

Huge shout-out to Neighborhood Plumbing and Drain - Eric came in and fixed my elderly mom's weak kitchen faucet, fixed some broken handles in the master bathroom and was done in less than 10 minutes, free of charge. We need to support this local business, as when the joys of home ownership starts to add up (yes, post-snowpocalypse 2021), you really just want the pro's who know what they are doing and do good by you. And they do. Give them a ring. You will not be sorry! Great big hug to them!

I had a leak in a drain pipe under the center of my slab foundation. The plumbing company I have hired many times over the years gave me a ridiculously high quote to tunnel 30 feet to perform the repairs. I was referred to Starr Sewer & Drain by a neighbor, Starr responded quickly and communicated well! The leak turned out to be what they called a “spot-repair”, 1/10 the cost of tunneling.

James came late in to the evening in the ice and snow. Explained a lot of how the system works, what to do IF Austin freezes again. Cannot say enough about how he represented the company. Highly recommend!
