Fantastic experience with Starr Sewer and Drain. In the process of selling our home, the buyers inspection uncovered a 20 foot “belly” in our drain line under our foundation. We had to make repairs and close on the home in under 3 weeks (we had a closing on our new home purchase too). Extensive repairs had to be made in a condensed timeframe. Starr made it happen !!! I purchased a home several years ago that was built in the 1960's. Unfortunately, the home still had its original sewer and drain cast iron lines. After clearing several clogs and performing spot repairs it was clear that the cast iron pipes were past their life expectancy. After getting several bids, I hired Starr Sewer and Drain to replace the entire system (120 feet of tunneling). I had a leak in a drain pipe under the center of my slab foundation. The plumbing company I have hired many times over the years gave me a ridiculously high quote to tunnel 30 feet to perform the repairs. I was referred to Starr Sewer & Drain by a neighbor, Starr responded quickly and communicated well! The leak turned out to be what they called a “spot-repair”, 1/10 the cost of tunneling.

We had a serious break in our cast-iron sewer and drain lines which involved tunneling under our slab foundation. The prospect of being without water for weeks caused us to delay the project for years. We had Starr Sewer & Drain review our situation; they came up with a plan that would only prohibit us from using water for one day. They were also about 2K-3K less than the two other estimates we received. The job was completed without any issues. Thank you Starr Sewer & Drain.

Starr Sewer and Drain did a fantastic job replacing my sewer line! Speaking to and working with Starr was very educational. Starr went far and beyond when provided details and explanations. In return I feel it is only fair to provide the same thorough approach to this review. The Estimate – Extremely detailed and clear. The Contract – Again, very detailed and clear. Office Staff – Answered the phone on 2nd/3rd ring and either answered my question(s) or provided an answer by the end of the day. Reliability – Never made excuses (other than the day it rained), started on time, completed the job a day earlier than expected. They provided me with thorough documentation: Engineer Report, pictures, measurements, proof of permit application, proof of permit being closed, copy of my warranty. Organizing Jobsite – At the end of each day, the jobsite was clean and organized, the dirt removed from the trench had tarps under and over each pile. No food wrappings, cans, bottles left in the yard. Overall Experience – great communication, hardworking crew, friendly office staff.

Our drain line and sewer line were made of a failing cast iron system. We were tired of regular sewer line cleaning. Seeking a solution, a neighbor recommended Starr Sewer and Drain. Starr came out and gave the system a sewer line cleaning followed by a hydrostatic test and sewer camera inspection. Watching the sewer camera inspection roll through 100+ feet of cast iron drain line and sewer line delivered the clarity we needed to take the big leap and perform a full sewer line replacement. The project started 2 days late due to rain but was somehow completed on time. I want to express my gratitude, the Starr Crew worked overtime to stay on schedule to get the sewer line replacement completed. If you have cast iron sewer and drain lines, I would strongly recommend starting with a simple sewer camera inspection and hydrostatic test. I give a big “Thumbs-Up” to this crew.
