Neighborhood Plumbing and Drain

When moving to our new, and recently renovated home, we discovered that the drains in both the master bathtub and shower were clogged and slow to drain water. A call first thing in the morning to Neighborhood Plumbing and Drain was quickly answered, and a technician was promised by early afternoon. When a technician became available earlier than that, we received a follow up call from the company, and the tech arrived shortly thereafter. The Tech was prompt, polite, and talked us through what he saw, and let us know exactly what their service would cost us before he began any work. Once approved, the work was completed in a timely manner, and the root cause of the problem (a contractor had used the drain to get rid of excess plaster!) was made known to us.All in all, we couldn't be happier with Neighborhood Plumbing and Drain. Their service was fast and professional, and their pricing was more than fair for the service provided. If I could give them more than five stars, I certainly would!

Robert from Neighborhood arrived within an hour of my call and quickly advised that our kitchen faucet was leaking and needed replacement. He made sure the leaking stopped and advised us to find the replacement faucet we wanted and to call back for him to do the replacement.When we bought a new faucet we called in and he came out the next day to do the work. He was nice, helpful and professional in his work and I told him that he was now our favorite plumber!I highly recommend Neighborhood and Robert!

Allan is very knowledgeable and experienced and knew how to solve our problem. He was careful to clean up afterward & did a great job. Our shower hasn't worked this well since it was new or maybe ever.

I've called upon Neighborhood Plumbing on two recent occasions, one to replace a pressure valve on our main line, and the second to fix a water pipe that ruptured in our garage during the recent winter storm. On both occasions, these guys were prompt, friendly, and professional. They did excellent work. And the fact that Chris and Paul were able to quickly come out in the middle of the storm to get our water pipe patched was simply amazing. Strongly recommended!

11AM on a Friday I realized I had a major drain problem at my house. All toilets and sinks backed up and water leaking into the guest bath. I can do simple plumbing jobs but this was out of my area of confidence. Called a plumber I'd used before and left a message. When a couple hours passed without a call back, I turned to Neighborhood Plumbing and Drain. The receptionist was very helpful and sympathetic, taking my details and assuring me they could get someone over to look at my problem. Sure enough, an hour or so later Chris and Austin arrived to bail me out! Took Chris all of 5 minutes to properly diagnose a clogged main drain and almost as short a time to run a cable thru to fix it. Chris kept me informed every step of the way and patiently answered my many questions! He was very clear on options and reasonable on pricing and was polite, professional and friendly throughout the visit. We are now up and running, thanks to his and Austin's work. I hope I go a long time before having to call a plumber again but when I do, it will be Neighborhood!

Alan and Austin did a get great job installing our new tank-less hot water heater, heater enclosure and generator LP piping. It is plumbing art! Beautiful work.... Not the cheapest company but one of the best we have done business with. These gents showed real pride in their work, and cleaned everything up, very professional and I am picky! I'm not one to write reviews, but this time I feel it is warranted. I was without water, due to my plumbing attempt at fixing a leak in the inlet line to a toilet tank. Neighborhood came out as a first stop, and did an excellent job in replacing the elbow fixture. Chris was very patient with an extremely stubborn, original elbow, that did not want to come off. His patience saved us from a bill that would have been considerably more, had the elbow been cut off. Thank you Chris, and Neighborhood Plumbing. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs. My parents' hot water heater, which is a hard to find, expensive, cabinet style type, was leaking really bad on Tuesday. After doing some research on the type of hot water heater needed, I found that Rheem made one. So I looked up their recommended pros. After looking through the list I chose Neighborhood Plumbing. Within about an hour of my call, Karl showed up. He took about two minutes to assess the situation and then proceeded to tear the insulation off a flex line to expose a hose leak. The total cost to fix the issue was a bit over $200. After fixing the issue and putting everything back together, we asked him to look at the slow water output in one of the bathrooms. We were told by a previous plumbing company that the lines were needing to be replaced, looking at a several thousand dollar fix. Karl took a quick look and stated that just the connections under the sink needed to be replaced. The next day he came out, along with Red, and pulled out the short galvanized pipes and 90 degree connections, which identified the source of the problem---totally clogged pipes and connections. Therefore, to not make this to long, Neighborhood Plumbing saved my parents a lot of money and solved all of their plumbing issues quickly and effectively.

We love Neighborhood Plumbing. They were willing to move us into a cancelled appointment had the needed parts on their truck and had our new disposer installed in an hour.

Our washer drain was clogged and a toilet water line was leaking. I called and was able to get a couple people to me the very next day. They were able to get the drain unclogged and replaced our toilet water line with no issues whatsoever. The price was very reasonable, very good experience all around. If we have plumbing issues in the future, I will definitely use them again, A+

Horrible experience with this company on a tankless water heater. Water heater stopped working correctly. We called Neighborhood Plumbing, they charged us over $200 to work on it, said the problem was air in the lines and it was fixed. That didn't make much sense, but if it was fixed then OK. Worth $200 to have hot water for the dishes. But it was not fixed. Called them back that evening. The guy came back the next day, but spent the whole time on the phone with the manufacturer. He clearly did not know what he was doing on a tankless hot water heater. He charged us another almost $400 for his time talking to the manufacturer and told us that we needed to spend another $750 (on top of the $600 he already charged) to fix it this time (after he said it was fixed the day before). So they wanted over $1350 to fix a unit (that they had said was fixed) that cost less than $1000 one year ago. No longer had any faith in them so called a reputable company recommended by Rinnai. Should have done that in the first place. They needed only 15 minutes to test the unit and recommend not wasting our money trying to fix it. They only charged me to replace it. No call to the manufacturer needed--it was clear he understood tankless hot water heaters, had the right equipment, etc. Neighborhood Plumbing may be OK for regular plumbing, but do not use for a tankless hot water heater.

Huge shout-out to Neighborhood Plumbing and Drain - Eric came in and fixed my elderly mom's weak kitchen faucet, fixed some broken handles in the master bathroom and was done in less than 10 minutes, free of charge. We need to support this local business, as when the joys of home ownership starts to add up (yes, post-snowpocalypse 2021), you really just want the pro's who know what they are doing and do good by you. And they do. Give them a ring. You will not be sorry! Great big hug to them!

Allan and Red came to replace our PRV and repair a leaky toilet. After having another plumbing company come to give us an estimate, Neighborhood Plumbing not only saved us over $300 dollars but solved all of our problems efficiently, without unneccesary services and with utmost professionalism, courtesy and true helpfulness! Camille, the company dispatcher, notified me of the technician's arrival time and cheerfully helped with logistics when we were out of pocket. HIGHLY recommend these hard working, honest and most helpful plumbers! They truly came to our rescue!

We had been calling around to get an outdoor faucet replaced. Many companies didn't call back and when they did we were quoted high prices. Today Allan with Neighborhood Plumbing came on time and replaced the faucet for considerably less than we had been quoted by another company. He was very professional, and even though he was working outside in the cold and rain he was upbeat and positive. Allan was professional and efficient. We are very happy with this company and will definitely patronize them in the future. We will ask for Allan! And we were impressed with Pam who works in the office as well.

We are getting ready to move and had a list of inspection issues that we needed to have fixed. I found Neighborhood Plumbing and Drain from their numerous recommendations on Nextdoor. I highly recommend them. Very friendly and nice, did great work, and at reasonable plumber prices. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again if I had more plumbing work!

I called Neighborhood Plumbing on Thursday and they were able to come out Friday morning. I was worried because when I requested service it said I would not hear from them for 2-3 days. Thankful Allan and Austin were prompt and professional and figured out our shower problem immediately. Very professional and this is the second time Allan has come to our home to fix our plumbing issues. We will continue to call them in the future.

I had a water spigot supply line pipe break inside the wall of the home. i called neighborhood plumbing and they dispatched a truly professional plumber to my location right away. It was not an easy fix, yet they made it seam as if it was not a problem working in such a tight spot. I highly recommend neighborhood plumbing due to efficiency, knowledge and materials that were supplied by neighborhood plumbing to make the repair. Top notch, quality and service!

I called several different plumbing companies for my mother to get a price to replace her hot water heater. After waiting 1/2 a day, one company came out and seemed more interested in selling me a service agreement than replacing the hot water heater. Their estimate was outrageous! Neighborhood Plumbing came out for free the same day and gave me an estimate and the plumber didn't try to sell me anything else. The third company did not show up on time and called to reschedule. Needless to say, I called Neighborhood Plumbing back to replace the hot water heater. My mother was comfortable with them, their price was reasonable and they were clean and professional. I would recommend them to anyone!

I was able to get service the day of for an outside issue. What is was most impressed with was the honesty of Chris the plumber who arrived. He quoted me a price that was high compared to others but realized he quoted me incorrectly. This is hard to come by. Most plumbers are out to take you for everything in your time of need. I will definitely used them again.

We called Neighborhood Plumbing this morning. They came by in the AM, gave us a price, started and completed the job the same afternoon. Chris was professional and took the time to explain the plan (removing one facet and installing a new one in a different location). I highly recommend Chris and Neighborhood Plumbing.

I had a bad experience with Neighborhood Plumbing and Drain. We had a shower that needed a new shower cartridge. Their representative (Allan) came over took it out ( which entailed taking the handle off, unscrewing two screws to get the cover plate off, unscrewed the cover to the cartridge, removed cartridge, ten minute job). Of coarse he didn't have the right cartridge, so he charged me $185 plus $250 deposit for that day. He returned the next day with the wrong cartridge. Came back the next day with the right cartridge installed it and it works. He charges us a total of $684.00 to do this job. That's way to much. They will not do anymore work on this property.

My tile was raising on a slab foundation. To rule out the plumbing, I wanted a static test on the fresh lines and drain line. I set an appointment and explained that this was a rental and that keeping the interruptions for the renter to a minimum was paramount. Fast forward two days later - the plumber shows, claims to not know that the job was for a pressure test, and doesn't have all of the tools or the help necessary to complete. Somehow, he does a fresh water pressure test and finds that the leak meter is spinning quickly. Bingo - we have a known problem, I schedule another appointment one week later (that is when the plumber had availability).Today, the same plumber comes back prepared to reroute the freshwater. However, today the leak meter isn't spinning. After pressuring both the fresh and drain lines, no leaks are found.My complaints are 1) this company has bad communication. The plumber showed up not knowing the job and not having the right equipment. Furthermore, most of the confirmation of scheduling/rescheduling was me reaching out to Neighborhood Plumbing and Drain vs. them calling me. 2) it was expensive. I was charged nearly the same amount each time...I cannot help but think having two trips and repeating part of the same process each time lead to extra hours.

Had a leaky hot water heater located in the attic above the garage. Called neighborhood plumbing and they came out on Sunday and were able to replace it that day. Alan and Austin were easy to work with and knew exactly what to do to replace the water heater and bring everything up to code.

Alan and Austin did a superb job locating and fixing a slab leak. They were very detailed and knowledgeable about how to best address and remedy the problem. Both were very professional and truly were empathetic to our situation, and worked effectively and efficiently until the job was completed. Highly recommended!

I wanted a kitchen faucet installed. I had the faucet already. After three calls the plumber showed up. He spent 45 minutes and the cost was $225. A total rip off.Neighborhood plumbing will never be used again.

We have had continual problems with our plumbing in our brand new medical building. The original contractor’s sub would never address the problem or even come back. The first time we had raw sewage flowing in our office of floor drains they tried to blame us. When our floor drains and ALL our toilets in our medical building were overflowing yesterday, we called Neighborhood Plumbing and they sent out a very competent, nice gentleman who immediately knew exactly what to do. He fished out construction debris (plastic bags and other junk) which had been clogging our system for over a year. He was very fair in what he charged us, very professional and it is nice to know that we found someone we can really trust in Lakeway to help us if God forbid we have a problem again. I HIGHLY recommend Neighborhood Plumbing!!!

we had a toilet problem that another plumbing company told us it would take 4-8 weeks to get the replacement part. After 8 weeks and no help, we called Neighborhood Plumbing who came out the same day and fixed our problem immediately.The lady who answered the phone was courteous & polite. The gentleman who came was very professional,personable & polite.they'll be handling all our plumbing needs in the future.

While housesitting my friends home on Lake Travis the outside faucet broke off and I could not shut the water off. I called neighborhood plumbing and they were so polite and helpful. The plumber called me back to explain how to shut the water off to the house until he could arrive. Within a short time the plumber came, fixed the faucet and had the water back on. If you have a plumbing emergency I recommend calling them.

Highly recommend Neighborhood to all of those in the Lake Travis area. The ENTIRE team, from scheduling support to the licensed, professional plumber who came onsite to help us out, were absolutely fantastic. I have used other local plumbing companies for various projects around the Lakeway area and regret not finding Neighborhood sooner. To top it all off, they still do business the correct way and followed up my service with a hand-written note, signed by their entire team, asking for ways they could improve. To the Neighborhood team, you guys are doing a fantastic job!

They came out and installed a couple of bathroom faucets and home owner shut off valve at my meter and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend ! They were friendly and on time and got the work done at a reasonable price. I couldn't be happier!

Replaced a Pressure Regulator Valve. Chris was prompt, professional and effective. They were able to come out earlier than originally expected (which was welcome!), called ahead, and had me up a running in hours. Very professional and thorough - We detected an issue in the guest toilet which turned out was a broken pipe/connector in the foundation level - The team spent time detecting, called in the manager to review as the job was getting bigger and then created an action plan and fixed the issue per schedule.

Chris went above and beyond and ended up saving us from having to completely replace our main guest toilet. We will always use Neighborhood and will definitely request Chris for future plumbing needs!

Very prompt, friendly, experienced and reasonable cost. We have used their services a couple times. Most recently a toilet wax seal needed to be replaced. It was a messy job and they protected everything in the bathroom and cleaned it up. We would highly recommend.

I buy Bio One from Neighborhood Plumbing. It's a septic tank product that I've used for a long time. We've never had a problem. At one inspection someone asked if we even use the bathroom! Definately a great product.

Replaced an old water heater last month for a reasonable price. Allen from neighborhood plumbing did a great job and was very pleasant to work with.

Chris did a great job. In addition to some smaller items inside the house he also took care of a very challenging situation where roots had grown around our PRV, saving us from what would have soon been a much costlier headache.
