It was my first time to use Austin Area Plumbing and I am glad I did. I was able to get an appointment for an estimate quickly and same thing with scheduling for the service. Mycol did a great job in installing a new water heater (in the attic). He is really nice and after his installation he showed us the new installation, how to re-light the pilot light and how to flush it. Very happy with the service. Will definitely use them again.

Blake immediately passed the vibe test. Friendly, responsive, and professional. Very fair pricing. My second floor water heater was not an easy replacement. He stayed well into the night to make sure we didn't go another day without hot water. He's on my favorites list for sure!

I absolutely recommend Austin Area Plumbing. Their certified Journeyman Plumber Mycol F, aided by his apprentice Mikey L.J., replaced two toilets in our house. On scheduled day, Mycol discovered right away that I had purchased toilets which would require structural changes and far more expense. Mycol helped me identify which toilets that would fit, saved me money on the toilet cost and came back next day to install new replacement toilets. Another complication: Our tile floor was not level. Mycol with assistant Mikey seated the toilet on a level plane, using shims.We are absolutely satisfied and would recommend Austin Area Plumbing without reservation. Austin Area Plumbing only advertises by word of mouth, so they are much more affordable than big chains or those companies that advertise. I would most definitely hire them again!

Plumber Mycol diagnosed and fixed a water leak from a toilet on the upper level affecting the ceiling underneat it.The floor has tile leveling issue that he corrected, so the toilet sits properly.Great work.

Our water heater went out day before yesterday & I didn't realize it until after I was off of work and in the evening, I called them for an estimate at 11:30a the next day and Blake came by by within a couple of hours. He quickly went through what was the issue & what I'd need to do to replace it & provided a quote. We discussed my budget and he was willing to work with me to get as close to my budget as he could while still meeting all the essential needs! Our plumber Mycol was fantastic! We had an underground leak near the main water line. He was honest and transparent with his verbal estimate, and was willing to stay late that evening to fix it (we opted to wait a few days for other estimates). Pricing was in the same range as others so we chose Mycol because he passed the vibe check! He had no problems at all making the repair, it looked like quality work to me and he even added a handy little shutoff valve. Would love to book him again for future issues.

Like so many others in our neighborhood our tankless water heater burst during the extreme cold weather a few weeks ago. James provided a detailed timely estimate and provided us with a few options. We decided to replace the unit. We received updates on the tracking of our new water heater and estimated date of arrival. As soon as the shipment arrived we were called to schedule an install. Mycol did the installation and educated me on maintenance surrounding the new unit. I was hoping that my tankless water heater, which was damaged during the Big Freeze, could be repaired. Dennis did his best to diagnose the issue and obtain the parts. The manufacturer sent the wrong parts more than once, then finally admitted they no longer stock the needed parts. With no repair possible, Dennis replaced my water heater quickly and at a fair price. Highly recommend.

Technician came on time and worked with Navien tech support to troubleshoot water heater problem. He has to visit us three time because the response from Navien tech support was very slow. The problem is eventually fixed by replacing PCB and gas control value. I think that technician from Austin Area Plumbing did good job while Navien tech support was very slow.

Late on a Friday night my daughter called and said her electric water heater had a smell like plastic burning. I told her to turn it off at the breaker. Later she said the water heater had water spewing out of the top for a while. The next morning I called Austin Area Plumbing and told the lady who answered the phone that the unit was at least 15 years old and needed to be replaced. Also I wanted it to be checked because the inlet and outlet pipes were still hot to the touch. She was able to schedule a plumber to come out that day. Mycol arrived shortly after noon. I told him that if available I wanted a replacement unit with a long warranty, a drain pan, and an expansion tank. A unit was available, and Mycol gave me an estimate for the complete project. The work was completed that day at the price quoted. Mycol did an excellent and very professional job.

Cobey Graves, was the ONLY person brave enough to get into our crawlspace to assess for damages and his rates are much more affordable than other plumbers.
