Service was professional and timely and the technician was friendly. Their systems had all the bells and whistles for communication too (text alerts, surveys, etc). But, the cost was extremely high and I work in the industry so I’m familiar with plumbing costs. Austin Energy accidentally hit my exterior hose bib when cutting trees in my backyard. It needed to be replaced. They don’t give you the price until they get there and since it was a leak I was stuck. 15 minutes of work and a $15 part was $325! $1200/hour???? Umm.

We had them come in to detect issues with some water leaks. They found them and were able to service us quickly, however they did have to come back after missing one area which left us three additional days without being able to shower. Their prices are really fair.

Many plumbers in Austin can't measure up to Mr. Rooter. They work pretty fast, and they do a decent job. I'd recommend them.

I was referred to Plumb Masters by another company and boy I’m I glad they did. PM was the 4th company that I had come out. Each previous company was unreliable, unprofessional, or downright dishonest. From the the scheduling to the onsite visit with PM they were extremely pleasant and professional. Cody and Robert were 2 of the best service guys I have dealt with. They were respectful, knowledgeable, informative and just plain good guys. They were able to fix my clog and make some additional recommendations. I later called and spoke with Mark, the owner, and it became abundantly clear why dealing with Cody and Robert was such a great experience. Mark took the time to explain a few things and answer all of my questions and concerns. I will definitely use them again and I recommend anyone who has plumbing problems to give Plumb Masters a call.

Jeff at Moore & More was an excellent problem solver, taking all the best steps to isolate and find the leak in our home. He explained his steps and expected costs thoroughly and, most importantly, solved our leak when it was a difficult one to track down. I called Austin Plumbery as a third opinion on an issue going on with my sewer drain line. Ultimately they did not do repair work for me so I am rating them based on an initial diagnostic visit and a follow up.Strengths:- Cool that it's a local, women, and latino owned business- For the first call they were much more thorough than my first two opinions and actually identified that the issue was a lot less bad than I originally thought. Overall, I was really pleased that they didn't just go off of what the two previous guys said, but actually confirmed for themselves. Honestly, this alone saved me thousands of dollars and weeks of work to tunnel under my foundation and replace my pipes.The bad:- After this initial call, I wanted to get the issue fixed ASAP and requested a quote for the repair. It took them a whole week of me calling them every day to finally receive a quote for them *just* to dig a hole in my yard to see what was going on. On the day and time they were supposed to come, they flaked and said they'd have to come the following day instead, which would have been fine except that I had to call them and it was already the end of the day.- Because it had already been more than a week since the tech had been out to my house, the spray paint lines showing where the pipes were in my yard were gone. The tech did not have a scope to be able to figure out where the pipes were so had to go back to the shop to pick it up. He said he would give us a call back but never did.Overall, I'm disappointed because I wanted to give this company my business but ultimately I had to go with another company.

They are the best in Austin. We are so happy with their service and friendliness. We highly recommend them.

My 30 min project was scheduled 2 days in advance and they cancelled 2 hrs before they were supposed to arrive. Then want to reschedule for the following Monday.

Al is great. He is very responsive and does a great job. Our 25-year-old tank water heater was leaking and stopped working on a Sunday morning. Al came out and installed a new tank that day for a very fair price even though it was a Sunday. We always use Al for our plumbing repairs and projects.

I am a COA property manager for a small condo community that was in need of 3 valve changes. ABC came out and quoted the work at a very reasonable price. When the work was scheduled, they were great at communicating with me about how long the work would take. Props to Mike Snow for a job well done!

Their Customer Service agent was excellent; he understood the problem and redirected the call to their scheduler. We were scheduled for an appointment on the same day.2. We received notification in advance of their service person's arrival. We appreciated their effort to keep us updated.3. Eddie Pollack arrived on time and was wearing a mask, which we really appreciated. He listened to our explanation of the problem and after checking out the water heater he explained the approach he would take to resolve the problem.4. Eddie kept us informed throughout his work process.5. Eddie and Abacus were able to provide all of the necessary parts so that we were able to have hot water ASAP.6. It is evident that the work culture at Abacus Plumbing is customer-focused.
