Best Fixture Plumbing in Austin TX

First off the guys that did the repair were great. They showed up at the time they said, diagnosed the problem and did the repair in about an hour. My only gripe with this company us they were exceptionally expensive. I originally planned on another company and wanted them to come that day (Friday) to look at it. That company had a trip charge of $225 and a half hourly fee of $95. However they couldn't make it that day and I thought the hourly fee was high and worried it would add up too quickly of the job took several hours and having to pay a trip fee of $225 to find out I couldn't afford them.I found S&D Plumbing and was told they could come out same day, had no trip charge (although that's actually very misleading, I'll get to that in a second) and charged by the job rather than the hour. After accepting the appointment and cancelling the first, I received a call at our appointed time that afternoon that they would need to reschedule for the following day.The good: they showed up on time (early actually I think), and completed the repairs in a timely and effective manner (as far as I know anyway).The bad: Even though there was no trip charge, they charged a $250 to diagnose the problem and provide an estimate, so in essence, a trip fee after all. In addition, even though the job was pretty straightforward and quick (1 hour), with the diagnostic fee, the total was almost $650 for a simple small pipe (leak) replacement. Had I kept the appointment with the first company, the repair would have been done at the same time due to the reschedule, but all things being equal, would have cost me around $225 (trip fee) + $190 (hourly fee), for a total of $415, or about $235 (roughly 30%) less to just have stuck with the first. I mentioned this to the tech and he did find and apply a $50 coupon discount for me saving a little extra $, but still $185 more is pretty significant for a 1 hour job.The work they were able to do was good and the techs themselves were great, but overall I would not recommend them based on price, unless you're ok overpaying for small jobs.

Benjamin is my neighbor and he's been saving the day for everyone in the complex this week as temperatures dropped below freezing. We had a pipe burst and they were able to fix it the next day. Super helpful!

My technicians were named Ashton and Carlos. They were very professional. The arrived on time, were cautious to wear the shoe booties to prevent messing my home. They worked continuously for 8 hrs to get my new HVAC installed. They were very nice to ask questions and get the job done

Gilbert did a fantastic job for us. The Pressure Regulator Valve on our new home wasn't functioning properly, resulting in annoyingly low water pressure. Gilbert was able to quickly troubleshoot the issue and install a replacement. Professional & on time. Our repair ended up coming in under the original estimate, we feel his service offers a good value. We will be using Gilbert for any future plumbing repair needs.

Superior service and excellent work!Had an attic water heater burst and they overcame multiple set backs, always with a solution solving attitude and grace under pressure demeanor.Daniel, if you are reading this, you have a couple of keepers and should recognize that. Quality people are worth investing in.Oh, and the front office staff was very friendly and helpful.

Today the technician was supposed to be here between 8 and 10 am. I cancelled the appointment because the technician arrived at 10:15 or 10:20 to start a major job and I had an appointment later after lunch. The excuse the office gave me was that the technician forgot his tools at home and had to go back to get them. This was the second time this has happen with the same technician. The first time I had an appointment with same technician came to do the job he said his tools were in the truck and the truck was in the shop so he had to come back to do the work. The second appointment with same technician went well and the work was done well. But forgetting tools or not having tools with you 2 out of 3 times does not make for good customer service.

You will not regret using Jeff for any and all plumbing needs you have. He is extremely knowledgeable and doesn’t try to upsell you things like ALL other plumbers do. He was able to come out same day to check everything out and was back the next morning to replace our broken 50gallon water heater with a tankless. So grateful and will never use anyone else for all things plumbing related!

At 8:30 this AM, the COA knocked on my door to tell me they had turned off my water because it was leaking 4 gallons per minute! Obviously this was a crisis as I had already flushed the toilet with my one and only chance.Plumb Masters fit me in this afternoon, immediately located where the issue was and had it fixed in under an hour. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you so much Jennifer, Joe & Brian!

Larry Baker and Mike Tovar were AMAZING. They came after hours same day and stayed until everything was fixed. They were absolutely professional and focused on helping us. We were in a tough situation with a leak and thank goodness for them!!! I couldn’t say enough amazing things about them.

Texas got hit with major freezing/snow leaving my house with busted pipes and no water. I called several plumbers and many didn’t even get back due to the backlog. I saw Joe from Austin Plumbery driving to a job and asked if he could help. Even though he had many other jobs he needed to finish that day, he followed me to my house and fixed my pipe to get us up and running in less than an hour. We are very thankful and will use Austin plumbery as our default plumbing source going forward.

Got my water heater replaced today. It's not cheap but they're price is more reasonable than the other 2 plumbing companies that I have it quoted with, plus I felt like the other 2 are not really interested in doing business with me so I decided to go with ABC Home and Commercial and I'm so thankful that I did. Mike and Devin came in and Mike was right on time. Both of them did a wonderful job. They were quick and very efficient and did a good job in protecting my newly installed wood floor on the second floor. Mike is quick to respond when I have questions about the automated shut off valve. Special thanks to Miguel also for a quick email response.
