Best Drains Leak in Austin TX

I contacted S&D plumbing to repair an irrigation leak with their pinpoint leak detection tool.” After telling the plumber that the leak was somewhere in the yard, he insisted to search the house pipes even though it was confirmed by another plumber the leak was in the yard. I soon found out why he suggested that. After I was told the leak detection was a flat rate, the plumber called me again after an hour letting me know that he would need to charge me for the next hour until he could find the leak. I was completely blindsided and he told me he thought he told me it was per hour. Well turns out it took several hours had passed and gave no indication when and if it would be fixed. What is pinpoint about this?!!! He ended up putting a bandaid on it rather than running a pipe to the house. After checking with several property managers, they said I pain an astronomical amount of money which should have been fixed properly. What is even more messed up, I have been asking their customer service rep Maria since the first of March to talk with a Supervisor and her last correspondence was 7 days ago that someone would be in touch within 48 hours. Thats the third message I have received. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere unless you like wasting your money

We use Clarke Kent for all of our big plumbing repairs. They come out super fast, and always get the job done in a timely manner. Competitive pricing too.EDIT: Was a 5 star review; now a 2. Customer Service has gone down hill big time. Talked to Mickey. Put in a work request. Was told someone would be here between 10AM-3PM the next day. 3PM comes, and no one has showed up yet. I call to get an ETA. Mickey answers. He can't find the work request. Questions if I talked to him or Dylan. Mickey, you can't remember a conversation you had YESTERDAY? Gives the run around about when someone can come by because they're all on a call. I get that, but how do you lose the service request in the first place? Isn't that your job?On another note: We had a different project/leak, which was time consuming and tedious. We *thought* the repair was done, as it appeared to be. After further discovery, we realized it was not repaired. We call them back out to look at it, and they tell us there is no leak, but standing water due to the rain. When I called, however, we had not had rain in weeks prior. Someone comes out, looks at it for 30 seconds, tells us they'll keep an eye on it and leaves. They come back a week a half later, and lo and behold, the grass is still saturated with water where the leak was initially, and no rain. Just craziness. It is disappointing because we use Clarke Kent for all of our plumbing needs, and we have multiple other properties in the area that use them as well. They are no longer reliable or trustworthy.

We've had a very frustrating bathtub leak for months and we couldn't figure out what the issue was despite having someone else come out and tell us they couldn't figure out the problem. Ray came out, figured out the problem within minutes, and had us fixed up within a couple hours.

I called A&T services to replace two 27 year old water heaters in my home. I wanted to install tankless water heaters and Pierre sent me a quote. The quote seemed brief and non-descriptive to me so over the weekend we emailed back and forth. I asked a number of questions and he answered them. I researched the water heaters they would install and discovered they were probably the best on the market. A&T came the day they promised and installed both heaters and had them both operable that day. The price was as quoted with no add ons and was less than 1/3 the price I was quoted by a competitor. I will use A&T in the future for all my plumbing needs and will highly recommend them to anyone needing a great plumber for a reasonable rate.Perry Marlow

This rave review is belated, but I just want to sincerely thank Capital City Plumbing and Drain, and especially Ryan, for doing such great work. We were concerned that we had a pipe collapse and that we would need to completely replace our old cast iron plumbing. That day will come, but for now the problem ended up just being a blockage. Ryan devoted serious time and effort to carefully investigating the problem, and then clearing the blockage. We are really thankful for his patience and focus and expertise! Capital City was also a fantastic company to communicate with. They were clear, prompt and efficient with texts and phone calls. Thank you so much again.

I always call Plumb Masters first, and the times that I haven’t, I wished that I had ;-) Jamie and Jordan we’re prompt, kind, respectful of the interesting times (wore masks and gloves), and most importantly they did a great job. We called for an issue with our dishwasher not draining completely, and Jamie immediately knew what was causing it. When cleaning out under the sink for their arrival, I noticed water and they found the leak (disposal) quickly, and of course easily got that replaced without another trip back. We also had a sliding (very old) toilet, which they replaced and sealed it cleaner & better than “the other guys” did a few years back. I can honestly say it’s the first time I have been excited by plumbing work thanks to Plumb Masters doing a great job, with minimal disruption to my new WFH life.

Fantastic service! Called them out for second opinion, and our tech Nathan saved us hundreds of dollars in tile, and sheetrock repair. Instead of a valve problem in the wall we had a heating element out on the hot water heater which was actually covered by a warranty. Highly recommended.

During the freeze our outdoor tankless hot water heater busted. We called on a recommendation from a friend on Thursday and they were out Saturday to check it out. The water heater was a total loss, and availability was difficult due to the widespread freeze. Good Flow was able to secure a hot water heater and install the following morning. I have seen quotes from neighbors for twice as much as I was charged and Good Flow likely could have charged the same and got it due to the situation, but kept to their honest pricing. I will recommend and use them in the future.

Tech Steve Garcia went above and beyond. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He took his time to study the problem and made certain we understood. He truly stood out from other services we have had over the years. We will definitely keep his name on our callList with ABC Plumbing Services.

We had a failure of our AC unit and our technician, Alex, was extremely helpful in diagnosing and fixing the problem. He also showed us the cause of the failure was preventable with proper maintenance and gave us detailed guidance on making sure it doesn’t happen again. Very happy with our experience.
