Eddie Pollack showed up at my daughters home at 10:05 am this morning. He was to check dampness around the baseboard behind a sink in the entryway. He inserted a snake in a few drain locations, which were clear and flowing. He turned the sink water on and says he would need to cut a 12 x 12 inch square of Sheetrock to examine inside the wall. He says if we do the repair, the $79 fee to come out and the cut wall fee of $50-$100 would be waived. He opened it and saw lots of water laying inside. He says the pipe had separated by about an inch. Not much of the water actually flowed out from the opening, but he got us all so worried and said a water restoration tech would be needed and the water will cause other issues. He said he would make a call and let us know the cost for the pipe replacement project. He told us $1,199.00 and he could get his manager to assist and the tech from Dry Source would come out to make contact with our home owners insurance, etc. We never signed anything, but we decided to give the go ahead to proceed. The owner showed up within an hour, in the meanwhile, Eddie cut more Sheetrock for access and took a bit of the insulation out. The owner was not friendly and ignored a few questions we asked. He assisted Eddie with pipe placement( a 1 1/2 ft pipe and 2 1/2 ft pipe and a fitting) and afterwards left out the door without saying goodbye. We never disagreed or complained, so I’m unsure why he was so disrespectful. I feel my daughter was Very Over Charged!

We had the absolute worst experience with this company. If I could give a negative number rating, I would. Before getting to the worst, I'll mention the only good thing. The actual plumbers we worked with were wonderful! They are very knowledgeable, experienced, competent, and responded directly in a timely manner. The company itself/ administration side, especially customer service is just horrible. We needed to have all of the plumbing replaced under our foundation. We were quoted a reasonable price and were told entire the turnaround time would be about 2 weeks. They showed up to start the trench and tunnel under the house. However, that alone took several weeks. It then took another couple weeks before the actual plumbing work was done. Then, they promptly forgot about us. This, of course, was after we'd already paid 99% of the bill (which was tens of thousands of dollars). I called about 3-4 times a week and about a month later, they finally had the tunnel refilled. It took another month and many, many more calls for them to finally fill in the giant trench in our front yard. About 10 more calls and several more weeks for take away the rocks and debris left behind. When they started, they also move a giant rock from the side of our house where the trench would be to the middle of the yard. We were promised at the time that the rock would be moved back in place when the job was completed. 5 more calls were made to Daniel's advising that we will pay the remaining amount of the bill once the rock is replaced and being told many times I would receive a call back, and never ever have. I then received the invoice for the remaining amount, with no information or regard to my request to move the rock back, as promised. It has taken over 4 months total to get whereWe are now.I have never gotten a call back when I've been told I would. I have spent many hours and hundreds of phone calls trying to get this job completed.

Today the technician was supposed to be here between 8 and 10 am. I cancelled the appointment because the technician arrived at 10:15 or 10:20 to start a major job and I had an appointment later after lunch. The excuse the office gave me was that the technician forgot his tools at home and had to go back to get them. This was the second time this has happen with the same technician. The first time I had an appointment with same technician came to do the job he said his tools were in the truck and the truck was in the shop so he had to come back to do the work. The second appointment with same technician went well and the work was done well. But forgetting tools or not having tools with you 2 out of 3 times does not make for good customer service.

Use caution, ensure the price quoted over the phone includes diagnostic! Don't make the $500 mistake that I did.I called Fast Plumbing after my water company detected a steady 10 gal/hr leak, most likely from a toilet not sealing. Melissa was very helpful and they were able to get the toilet fixed the next day. No issues with the quality or timeliness of the work. The problem is that over the phone we communicated that the repair would be $238. Melissa called me and I approved the charge once the plumber had diagnosed the problem- I even added a $20 tip because of how grateful I was with the quick response and repair. However, $798 was charged to my card. I called and Melissa explained that the additional charge was for the diagnostic and discovering where the leak was from. This price was not quoted over the phone.Home Depot and Lowes had both quoted me approximately $400 total to completely replace the old toilet, but i wanted to support a local company, plus I was under the (incorrect) impression that the end price to repair (not replace) the toilet would be under $300.Edit: we were not quoted for $125 service fee and $375 for the first hour of leak detection, per the owner response below. I already had a quote to completely replace the toilet for $400, why would I pay $500 to have a diagnostic? This makes no sense and looks to me like the company is trying to save face.Furthermore I also did not say anything about an $800 water bill, this is simply not true. No idea where that came from - maybe the company is getting us confused with another customer?

Raymond was recommended to us and we cannot be more pleased with his services. He is very responsive and professional and after snowpocalypse in Feb this year he was here the next day to assess the damage to our tankless water heater (toast) and to make sure we did not have damage to our pipes. We were so grateful! Once we finally got our new water heater, he got it installed and up and running in just a few hours and hauled away the old one. We love Raymond!

I called Neighborhood Plumbing on Thursday and they were able to come out Friday morning. I was worried because when I requested service it said I would not hear from them for 2-3 days. Thankful Allan and Austin were prompt and professional and figured out our shower problem immediately. Very professional and this is the second time Allan has come to our home to fix our plumbing issues. We will continue to call them in the future.

Maybe they do a good plumbing job, but I was never able to even offer them our money. This was a business-to-business deal, this company was recommended by a friend in business. First, they showed up for an estimate at 8.40am (instead of between 10am-12pm and will give you a call 30 mins in advance), and were very surprised no one was waiting for them there. Came back at the scheduled time (and yes, finally called in advance), looked at the place and said will send an estimate... Never received any estimate or call back.Maybe they are the best plumbers in town, but I was never able to hire them.
