After having set an appointment two weeks in advance for a custom job, and after having taken the time off of work to wait for the appointment, I was called the morning of and informed that there were scheduling problems.However, talk of scheduling problems quickly changed to a discussion of why the job I wanted to have done, converting a portable dishwasher into a stand-alone permanent dishwasher, was actually not even possible and that I had been fooled by the dishwasher salesman. I had already done the research so it was obvious to me that they were trying to cover for their scheduling problems.I used the time taken off of work to call another plumber who was able to complete the job on their first visit in under two hours without having to order any special parts. I definitely think honesty should come first in business and I would have forgiven scheduling issues but do not appreciate being told the job was impossible. I'm currently enjoying my new dishwasher courtesy of a more Reliable plumbing company.

I called Lanier Plumbing to have my washing machine drain cleared. The fellow took my address and phone number and told me he would call back in a couple of hours to tell me if they would be able to come out that day or the next morning. I never received a callback and now the following morning there is no one answering their phones. I’ve used Lanier plumbing previously and was impressed with the work but now they’re just MIA. Very disappointed.

We were referred to Lanier Plumbing today to help us with a leak in our ceiling. They came promptly and diagnosed the problem. Super friendly, and really helped us understand the issue and root cause. We had a very positive experience overall with Shane and Dave.

We recently had an emergency plumbing situation late at night and reached out to Lanier. They responded to me early the next morning (before business hours) and had someone out within the hour. They did a great job for a great price. We are very happy and will definitely use them in the future as our go-to plumber.I'll also add- This happened during COVID19 and I was nervous about having someone in the house. They wore masks, shoe covers, and gloves. Highly appreciated! Thank you so much!!

Honest and knowledgeable. I had 2 different plumbers and a handyman try to diagnose why my hot water heater’s pilot light wouldn’t stay lit. Consensus was that it needed a new part, which they didn’t make anymore so buy a new hot water heater and replace. Lanier Plumbing came over and fixed the issue in 10 seconds. I have hot water again! The water heater itself is due for replacement so they also gave me a quote for when I purchase a new one. Their quote was honest and fair and much lower than the average quote I received. These plumbers are skilled and know what they are doing! Highly recommend

We hired Lanier to swap out a shower head for us. It was a totally different set up though and Phillip was wonderful. He looked through what we had, discussed our options with us, and then installed it perfectly. We are so happy with his work. Next time we need a plumber, we will absolutely call Lanier again.

I gave one star because it won't let me give a minus 1 star. I called Lanier plumbing yesterday while having my kidney dialysis treatment and arranged for a plumber to come today between 11 and 2 o'clock. So at about ten till 2 o'clock I called and got no answer. Then called at 10 after 2 and got no answer and left a message to call me if they couldn't make it. They didn't have the decency to call me back or to show up as promised. Not sure what I'm going to do now since it'll be below freezing and need to drip my bathroom faucet because it's clogged and the people that I called to fix it flaked out on me.If your an elderly person with health issues like I am or even a healthy person I would think twice about calling this company for any work unless you want to sit around and waste a whole day for nobody to show up.

We Love Lanier Plumbing!! David & Philip came to do a bid on some work for the house we were trying to sell. We were worried it would take a while and affect our deadline for the house to be ready. Got a bid from a well known company and Lanier's was considerably lower. I asked why, so David explained the repairs in a way I could understand, and it turned out the other company had included something that wasn't really necessary (if you know what you're doing). Needless to say, we went with Lanier and the work was done quickly, professionally, and properly. Just sold the house and we couldn't have done it without them. Will recommend them to anyone needing a good plumber.

I am in shock at what just happened with Lanier. THey came to fix a rather expensive items on a hot water heater and left a gas leak. A gas leak so bad that I've never smelled that much gas before. In going around an opening the door to the laundry room I found that the guy used my hose for something and left it on for 3 hours and my back yard was flooded. I will never use them again -- the put my life in danger and flooded my back yard.

So I was very pleased with the first service from Phillip at Lanier.There was more work to do and I scheduled them to come.Supposedly they called during the week and said it would be a month because they had gotten some big jobs and that the person who was scheduling did not know what they were doing. But I didn't get a call. They just didn't bother to say they were not coming and would not be coming for a month.You might as well be dead to wait a month to repair a plumbing leak.To be honest, I have never had a contractor call and say they can not come for month after I already have an appointment. Ever. And not care about it at all when they tell you. Or try and squeeze you in.And so I won't ever be calling this poorly managed company again for something as important as plumbing.

Needed laundry connections moved and Lanier Plumbing was fast, friendly and highly skilled. A pleasure working with a quality business.

Lanier plumbing has done lots of types of work for my family for years. They are prompt and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
