I have no idea how they have such high ratings. They must pay people to review. I called them because of the ratings. They sent this sketchy guy out and some 15 year old kid. I knew there was a $69 assessment fee. I was ok paying it based on the magnificent reviews. My service request was to make sure all of my pipes are winterized with heat tape and insulation. The guy (Derek) gets under the house and is yelling, cussing, screaming because he was scared of the crickets. Is this really a 5 star plummer? No. He shows me that the pipes are fine. The heat tape was on and working but says there is a small corner that could use a little insulation around it. I am aware that putting a piece of fiber glass insulation would take less that two minutes and cost less than $20 if I were to do it myself. The $69 fee goes towards the work if you choose to have them service you. So I said ok, can you do that for me? He says give me a minute and I'll write up an estimate a few min later He quotes me a price for $1800. He can't be serious. This business is awful. I would never ever use them or recommend them to anyone.

Mark came out on time and was able to give me a good quote on everything I needed done which included a tankless water heater, water softener and laundry sink in my garage. Dan and his helper both worked together and had everything done in a timely manner. They went above and beyond and put the salt tank for the softener in a better location to make the job of filling it easier. I highly recommend them.

Great experience

Our water heater went out late Saturday afternoon before Christmas (holiday weekend). He said he would try to come by and fix it but couldn't make any promises. He did end up coming, but was unable to repair and the whole unit would have to be replaced. He wasn't going to come back until sometime during the week. We told him we needed our hot water asap as we were having a Christmas party at 3 on Sunday. He came Sunday morning, on his day off, with the unit and installed in less than 2 hours. He saved my Christmas Party and I couldn't be happier with his work, professionalism, timely manners and hospitality for his clients! He went above and beyond when he didn't have too. A lot of business should take note of this companies work ethics, this is a rare thing these days! Merry Christmas to my secret ? Mr. Weilhammer!

Alex was great! He was professional, fixed 2 issues, and fully explained what he was doing.

We had a lot of trouble with our septic system and Ron came out and got everything running smooth.

Hamm & Sons was the only company I found that quoted an exact price over the phone to replace a water heater. I called other companies to get even a ‘ballpark’ figure and none were willing to give me one, although one finally gave me a price with no guarantee. Another insisted someone had to come to my house to give me an estimate. Both prices were more than $600 over Hamm & Sons’ price. I was so worried by the extraordinary price difference that I called H&S back several times to confirm. The price charged after the installation was the exact price given over the phone. I also expected a less than qualified installer to show up due to the low price. My worry was proven wrong. Keaton (I hope I got his name right), a professional in every way, arrived alone, said it would take about 2 hours to install, but I’m pretty sure the entire install didn’t take longer than an hour from the moment he arrived until I handed him a check!
Time will tell about the quality of the water heater, but I was so impressed with the entire installation experience that I’m telling everyone I know.

Update: Unfortunately, they don’t unclog drains.

It was the more enjoyable experience. He was very forth coming and honest.

They came out and gave an estimate. We accepted and even though it was a week out because their really busy they showed up on time and did a great job. Cory was very nice and spent time walking us through the process through out the day. It was a big job. Very professional and wore masks and I'd recommend plumb on to everyone. Have been out to work on our toilets 3 times now. The first visit, we were told there was nothing wrong wrong and he left, the second visit he came in, did something (we didn't watch to see what, as we thought he was working) and then he came out about 15 minutes later and said it was fixed only to have the issue reoccure the next day. The third time we called we were told it would be a day or two before they could come out, 3 days later he arrives and this time brings in a snake to actually clear our lines and then he informs us that the water pressure is too low and that is why we are having all these issues (remember this is after 3 visits we are told this). So we ask if he could adjust the pressure, and that's when we are told that would have to be a separate work order, so will have to called in and we can come back out and do it.

Unfortunately for us this same company is constantly being called by our employer, I just hope it's not something underhanded, but what ever the cause, it's us employees and our customers that are incinvienced. I just want to warn any honest companies out there away from this place.

This company is great! The people are knowledgeable and professional and personable. They also repaired a gas leak and re piped the whole house. I would recommend them to anyone. They also clean up after themselves
don't make a huge mess. Great company!

The plumber arrived in a timely manner, wore booties in the house, replaced a leaking old copper pipe that was badly corroded, educated me on what he was replacing and why, showed me where future issues might develop, cleaned up afterward. He was professional and thorough. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely use Howald again, if needed.

Jason Thompson was a terrific help and provided great customer service. I’m glad he was the service man that came to our home today to replace our well pump. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Great place

Tyler was on-time and very professional. Identified the issues and quickly and provided multiple options for resolution. Great service and will use Armor Air again.

They were great. I had several small issues around the house. Steve worked hard to find the most economical solutions, repairing instead of replacing when possible. When the final bill was $74 less then the estimate he credited me. He could easily have kept the difference and I would never have known, but he was very honest and gave me the credit.

I also appreciate the fact that I was given a set appointment time, instead of a long window.

Steve was also very responsive by email and text.

They replaced our water heater, and a broken toilet, rebuilt a toilet, tub, and 2 showers. We have poor water quality and our plumbed appliances suffer as a result. All are working beautifully now though.
