Nothing but Praise for Randy and Mr. Rooter on an emergency. We were fixing an issue in a home we're selling in Indianapolis, and found ourselves in a situation where we had to shut off the main water to the house. With two families staying at the home to do work, it was crucial to have water. Though it was late afternoon on a Labor Day weekend, Mr. Rooter found Randy to do the job. He worked for MANY hours and solved the issues - and there were some pretty substantial - working into the late evening on a holiday weekend. Randy's attitude was wonderful, his work ethic was excellent, and the cost, we felt, was fair. Mr. Rooter charged by the job - not by the hour - so when Randy asked, Do you want me to use copper? (vs. another material that would have taken less time for him), he recommended the copper...We don't live in Indy, but we can say it was one of the BEST plumber experiences we have ever had. THANK YOU, RANDY! KUDOS BIGTIME!

Dispatch indicated technician would be there within the hour, but called 45 mins later to say they could not provide an arrival time. Took three hours for him to come, but once technician arrived, service was quick and solved the issue. Puia was very professional and took the time to explain the issue.

I reached out to Steven to have him come to my house because I had no water going to my bathrooms. They didn’t have availability until the next day but when I told him what was happening he agreed to come the same day. He was extremely professional and knew exactly what was going on and what needed to be done to fix it. I can’t praise them (Ashlynn and Steven) enough on how professional they were. He checked all my pipes and gave us an estimate on what it would cost to get everything back to normal. He got the job done within an hour or so and it ended up being a little bit less then what he quoted us which almost never happens. I will continue to only use them from now on and will only recommend them as well. It’s hard nowadays to find trustworthy people that also genuinely care. Thanks again guys!

After seeing Bob's business card posted in my real estate office stating that he does a great job, I was totally shocked at the experiences I had using him on two jobs for my clients, which were done in the same time period.

#1 Property- The bathtub faucet in the clawfoot tub was leaking in the back, and needed replaced. Also, the washing machine drainline was not plumbed in properly under the previous owner, and needed corrected with a proper trap installed.

Bob fixed the laundry drainline, and then came back to do the tub faucet when it came in after ordered.

After the work was completed, I received 2 invoices:

-$1,072 to install new tub faucet($220 of total) and 2 new shut-off valves.... also had to move clawfoot tub to access. And, I found out later that the tub faucet he had installed was not a match to the one that was in before, and had a shower riser. It was understood that he ordered matching faucet with riser.

-$848(after discount!) to cut a 1' x 3' section of wall to access laundry plumbing to repipe with mechanical vent and run drain

The amount was extremely high in price compared to other plumbing invoices I have seen over the years. So, I contacted Bob and asked what his hourly rates are. His response was that he charges a 'Flat Rate'.... by the job only, and not hourly. He then said that his rate fees were on his website. I went to the website and did not find any rate sheet. So then, he began taking pictures of a 'plumbing labor manual'(?) with his finger pointing to prices and emailing them to me. I let him know that it was not clear what I was actually seeing with the pictures he sent. I then let him know that I was going to go out the next morning to look at the work he did, and then I was going to call a few plumbers to find out what they would charge for the same work. I told him that I wanted to resolve the situation as soon as possible, and GET HIM PAID.

The next morning I go to the residence, and find that Bob had gone back into the occupied rental- WITHOUT notifying the tenant, and cut out all of the work that he had done! Evidently, he didn't want anyone to see what he claims was over $1,500 worth of labor- even after I expressed that we wanted to get the situation resolved and pay him asap!

Another licensed plumber was hired to come back and complete the work again- the cost was $650, including the tub faucet that matched the previous one. PRICE DIFFERENCE OF $1,270!

#2 Property- There was no water pressure at the house, and the sump pump was constantly running.

Bob came out that evening to analyze the cause of the problem, and was there approximately 15-30 minutes according to the owner/tenant who were present. He looked in the meter pit and the basement, and said there was a water main break near the front porch and about 6' down. He doesn't do excavating, and so we would need to have it dug out for him to come back and repair. I found a company that was able to do both the excavating and repair. Since it was the day before Thanksgiving, I went ahead and had them get the job done for the tenants. I then let Bob know, and told him that we wanted to pay him his service fee for coming out.
He sent an invoice for $317.00! I asked him if he had used any professional equipment and how long he was at the house. HE DID NOT ANSWER MY QUESTIONS and then again sent me a picture from a 'plumbing labor manual'(?) that said it is $272.00 for 'minor leak detection'. My client went ahead and paid him $45 for the service call.

Bob the Plumber's invoice states, 'Get the price before the work is done and save money $$$$'
There was obviously a reason these prices were not given to me before the work was done! :(

I had smelled gas from work done previously. They sent 2 men right over. They spent a good amount of time checking for leaks, and I didn’t have one. I must have smelled some back burning or something. I tried to pay them for their time, they were here for over 30 minutes. They would not accept payment. Nice guys, very professional.

The installers were on time and done way sooner than I anticipated. Which was a great thing! The price was reasonable and less than what Lowes wanted to charge me.

Andrew Nathan just completed our Plumbing Check visit & Rick Wilson our HVAC Check visit. Both are incredibly friendly, explained my service and status in a way I could understand and with a couple recommendations for future items to look out for. A pleasure as always. Kenny came out to our house yesterday and was able to get our A/C unit stood up on it's last legs for the rest of the summer. He helped me avoid what could have been a $1200+ repair. He spent nearly all day at our home getting the problem solved, Godby waived the labor and refunded me for an unnecessary A/C recharge I had received from another technician two months prior. Kenny also was able to seal up the vent where the previous homeowner had a humidifier that was no longer functional when we purchased the house. Stephanie was also great with making sure everything got scheduled and that my concerns were addressed. Happy to have a habitable home for the first time this summer. :)

We subscribe to Service Plus' semi annual inspection/cleaning on our furnace and AC unit. Our service technician, Mario, was very punctual for our appointment. He was very kind and helped to explain each part of the process he was checking, why, etc. I can tell he is proud of his work and enjoys getting to build rapport with his customers! He genuinely cares for his customers and wants to make sure they get the most longevity out of their units. He does recommend when a new unit is needed - making sure the client's safety is number one. We appreciated his help and enthusiasm with his work! Thank you for all you do!

I had a broken water spigot outside my house, and Jason came by after business hours to repair it. From the time I called to the time it was fixed was less than 2 hours. Professional and reasonably priced.

Spoke with Susie to have a pit pumped and cleaned. She was very rude and insulting when I didn't know the proper plumbing terminology. Just based on the lack of customer service and common courtesy, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Called to see about replacing my water heater. Salesperson was friendly, swift and to the point. Explained things so I could understand. Great experience. Hope the install is as good an experience.
