Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

After waiting for 4 days to get a part for a water heater repair, tech shows up and begins to work. Later another tech came by and I showed him to the water heater. I noticed there was water on the floor but thought that was normal. Later the second tech came up and said that the job was done and we should have hot water soon. He also said that the first tech would never gotten the job done if he hadn't come to help. Finally the first tech came up and said that there had a little water leak and they used a towel we had in the basement to clean it up. Then we went down to check it out and WHAT A MESS!!!!!!

Needed service on a Saturday, for an issue that happened after a storm where we lost power around the city. The issue was causing a flood in my kitchen and I could only stop it by shutting the main off. These guys were the only ones willing to come same day. I feel like I paid a lot of money, and they say they have flat rates no matter what time of day or night they show up. The gentleman who took care of us was there at 9:00 p.m; he was nice and personable, did an outstanding job, was very professional and was out of there in less than an hour.

I got quoted to replace my spicket the hole was already cut and they tried to charge me $500 plus dollars there's no why. I know for a fact that I was being overcharged and I didn't want to do any business after that quote I was ready for them to leave

Got a tankless a few years ago and it's already leaking. Since under warranty called them and went with no hot water for 3 days waiting on appointment. Then after taking work off they call 30min before appointment and say we don't service them so your SOL. So warranty is completely worthless and out the money to get a new one installed. I'll never use them again for anything. They will probably be fine to clear a drain but if your getting new equipment go with a company that can/will help when/if the equipment fails under warranty. I even already had a RMA for the tankless and know I would have to pay for it to be installed. They didn't even want to bother and it would have been a easy install since everything was already set up for the same water heater.

I hope I have the right location. Today at my job we had a tech come out, I believe his name was Eric, and he was awesome! He was very kind and helped us solve our leak issue. Thanks so much to this tech he was wonderful!

We had Zo to come help us with our clogged pipes. He was very friendly and got the job done quickly. He told us up front how much the work would cost and showed us the working pipes when he was finished to insure everything was working correctly. It was a solid plumbing experience.

I had some issues with Roto with scheduling appointments; they no showed 3 times. However after contacting them they came out and performed my camera inspection for free. My original tech Erik was amazing and the camera guy David was great as well. They turned a one star review into a 5 star. They value their customers, everyone makes mistakes and when they make one, they make it right.

Really impressed by the great service both Zo and James gave us. Will as always call you guys for plumbing needs in the future. Only thing I didn't understand was the labor charges. They seem a bit high. Everything else was first class service.

We will never use roto rooter again. The plumber was nice, friendly, and did a great job. The only issue is the labor was $514 For 20 minutes of work. This completely absurd. The parts only cost $34. Just ridiculous.

The plumber stood in my house and told me to my face that since I am a renter my price just super increased which is outrageous to charge different prices for the same services based on being a renter or owner.Then he refused to listen to me tell him my septic did not need cleaned out that it was literally just done and there were no other backups in the house besides the toilets not flushing completely. $373 for him to dig a whole and lift the cover of the septic just to see I was right.To top it all off, he then wanted $1000 to replace 1 toilet - $4000 for all 4 toilets in the house that are just outdated.What a complete and total ripoff! We will never recommend or call this company again for anything!

Only place I could find that could come out the same day, and they managed to come within a couple hours. Was it more expensive than it needed to be? Possibly. But when you need someone out that day it's hard to complain. They also helped out by using a moisture detector to help me find all the affected areas (water heater leak) which they didn't need to do. Very helpful and will for sure use again

Had a drain clog deeper down below the u-bend. Tried to snake it myself to no avail. Called Roto-Rooter and they had someone out same-day. Kyle took care of it lickety split and was professional, courteous, and answered all our questions.Price was higher than I’d like, but worth it to have a functioning kitchen. Kyle gave us some tips to avoid the problem coming back, and service came with a 6-month guarantee.

500 plus for labor is absolutely ridiculous. The price of the piece they used was also $60 but can be found for $10 or less at the hardware store. They take advantage of the fact you NEED something fixed quickly. Id stay away and try to find another company if anyone sees this review. Only reason they get 2 stars is because 1 star is required and 1 is for showing up. They also don’t repair drywall so if they have to tear it out you’ll have to find ANOTHER company to repair it. Absolute bs. 670+ for a leaking pipe.

I was definitely pleased with using Roto Rooter. He came with in the hour of calling them. Did a great ? job in fixing everything that needed to be fixed! Was a very nice and pleasant guy. Would definitely use Roto Rooter again!!

The Roto-Router service technician that came out to my house was prompt, professional, and courteous. He was able to identify the issue and make a clear recommendation of how to avoid a recurrence. Since it was an emergency situation that sprang up during the holidays, I greatly appreciated the fact that someone was able to come out the same morning that we called.

My technician did a great job locating the source of our sewer problem. He then worked hard to fix the problem and unclog our drain. After years and years of build-up, our pipe had some major issues, but now we're back in business.

With my experience with Roto Rooter, the technicians have always been great. My problem is with the office. My basement has flooded twice with sewage water and Roto Rooter techs have determined that the blockage is in the street which means that it is up to Citizens to fix. It has been an absolute nightmare trying to get Roto Rooter to upload the video to Citizens. They first informed me that it would get uploaded in 2-3 days. it has now been almost a MONTH. And i'm basically just playing phone tag with the office. It's so disrespectful and dangerous as that is what is slowing the process down for the city to come and look at it while putting our health and the health of our pets in jeopardy. Will most likely never use Roto Rooter again for that reason.

Kyle is amazing! He was here in 30 minutes, efficient, professional and fair. What a pleasant surprise! Kudos to whoever hired him. I will request him on my next plumbing need.

Zo was my technician and he is excellent at his trade. He determined the problem, fixed the leak, replaced the broken spigot and pipe and verified that no more issues were present by inspecting his work. Beyond that he was super friendly and just an all around great person to be around. Thank you Zo and thank you Roto-Rooter!

Be careful of the FREE ESTIMATE promise. Apparently unless the tech can physically see the pipes (like anyone could) and see the leak, if they have to cut a hole in your drywall(2 holes) it will cost you. Yeah, I had to pay 140 bucks for the tech to be able to destroy my property and leave it.

My main drain was clogged since Saturday around 2pm (always happens on my weekends off..lol). I contacted a few plumbers who could not get to me until Monday and Tuesday and I was on standby for one of them, I got up on Sunday morning and contacted Roto-Rooter and spoke to their call service who was super nice and she contacted one of the technicians She then called me back and said they can be out to me in 30 minutes..boy was I thrilled! When Phil arrived, I informed him that I felt that I suspected my main line was clogged and needed to be cleared. I explained to him what had occurred. He had actually checked the cleanout before he came into the home. He came in and was detailed as to what techniques they would be using and that he had a guy who would be using a camera to view as well. He was professional and I felt that he was someone that I could trust. It took a minute to locate the clog and he said that Terry would be in and would use a camera to see where the clog was,. Well Terry came in and described what and how he would be using the camera. He was detailed and I felt that I could trust him as well, Both men were super professional and personable and very thorough and efficient. After they finished, the Field Supervisor, Chet, stopped by to check on the service and I told him that the technicians were great. I would use them again and recommend them highly. As a matter of fact, I have already recommended Roto-Rooter. Their service, for me, was outstanding and timely and prices are competitive. You get what you pay for. SO thank you Phil, Terry and Chet. You are appreciated.

On a Saturday, I called for service on my water heater. They answered the phone, were courteous and professional, and dispatched a tech within the hour. Clint W. was very thorough and professional. Explained the recommendations in detail. Will definitely use Roto-Rooter again and asking for Clint W.

Did not take long to get to my house. Did a good job, I was surprised by the cost. I did get a $75.00 senior citizen discount but still paid close to $500.00.

The worker was very polite, explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. He answered any questions I had. 5 stars for the work performed and 5 stars to the worker himself.

Bob Snow did a great job identifying the problem, calling locates, and scheduling the repair! The gentleman that came to do the repair were very professional, fast, and had great communication throughout the process.

When I initially called in my emergency (water spewing from a hose attached to my washer) the dispatcher was very professional and helpful. Was empathetic about my panic and assured me they could help! Then the scheduler called and said they could have someone here in 1/2 hour. It was less than that and the tech did a WONDERFUL job! Very professional, knowledgeable, cheerful, and customer focused. He made sure everything was solid before he left and was very pleasant. Thank you so much!

Kitchen sink was stopped up. Called around & 1place never bothered to return my call, the others I called wanted $90 just to come out and give me an estimate.Called Roto-Rooter and was told a technician was available in an hour. Technician was at my house in about 30 minutes. No charge for the drive out& estimate. The estimate was fair, he was very nice and professional, and had the drain cleared in no time! I think his name was Kyle(I can’t read his signature on my receipt too well). Would definitely call again for any future work! Am pleased!

I’ve are extremely pleased with our Roto Rooter experience. They were at our house to assess the problem just a few hours after we called. Our technician, Clint, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He had the repair done in less than an hour and saved us a bunch of stress. The whole experience was top notch!

My wife worked with Phil on a sump pump, plumbing discharge, problem. Phil was prompt, patient, professional and thorough in his explanation of the problem, what he was going to do and why. Unfortunately, he ran into blockage that could not be cleared, in spite of his determined efforts. He called Terry, a colleague at Roto Rooter, to run a camera in the line. The camera was able to determine the exact point of the blockage. Knowing this was an area the local cable company had been working in recently, we contacted them and are waiting on their response/assessment. Until then, the drain line has been temporarily rerouted. When we move to the next step,, we've asked Phil to remain our main contact. Both he and Terry have been great.

Clint and Vince did an absolute great job! They helped us with a soft clog and got things working for us in a timely fashion. Very professional and super friendly.

The service technician came on time, determined the issue, corrected the issue first time..all in 1/2 hour. Tech (Phil Stillinger) was knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant. Job well done.

Kyle was wonderful. He was friendly, quick and informative! We're appreciative of his work to get our bathroom operable again.

They were fast to come out and assist, however the technician they sent kept having new pipes break as he fixed them. Eventually, this caused the pipe to the jacuzzi to break and the tech claimed “Roto Rooter does not service tubs or showers.” I then asked if he could cap off the broken pipe (which was NOT broken before he arrived) and he said that he cannot do that and that again, they do not service tubs or showers. He then packed up and left us with a $700 bill, a huge mess within my bedroom and bathroom to clean up, and still no water! He simply recommended sending someone else out.The following day we had a plumber come out who used to work for Roto Rooter who said the last technicians work is the reason the jacuzzi pipe snapped and that he lied, Roto Rooter does service tubs and showers. He also said he should not have left us without water and very well could’ve capped off the water - which is exactly what this plumber did!Leaving 2 stars since they did have someone come out in a timely manner and attempt to fix the issue, however it seems they were more worried about racking up a large bill instead of actually helping. Call your local plumbers, they’ll take care of you for a hell of a lot cheaper and the work will be finished and done right.

David showed up prompt and ready to complete the job. He is very trustworthy and hardworking. Those are the two main qualities in a plumber. If you are looking for the best in the business, ask for David or call Roto-Rooter!

Highly recommend Roto-Rooter out of the Indianapolis area. Benjamin (8603) did a great job determining why I wasn't getting hot water to a shower, and had new parts and the repair complete all within a couple of hours. Impressed and thankful!UPDATE: Had to use them 2nd time for my hot water heater replacement. Requested Benjamin (8603), and once again he did a fantastic job. Greatly appreciative!

Old house plumbing issues - a ton of roots and then offsets at the lateral/main joint. We were really pleased with the whole service from the single guy at first with the extra-powered snake (on a Saturday afternoon after Thanksgiving) to the small crew that came out a couple of days later to send a camera down the pipes and then dig up part of the yard. We were pleased with the speed, quality, and accuracy of the work. We were given a couple of options of what to do - smaller fix with later regular maintenance required versus a much larger complete redo but that would be more disruptive in the short term and mean taking down mature trees, as well as front steps and walk. Both options were clearly explained and priced competitively. The Field Supervisor kept in good contact with updates, and before you know it they also had the city out to repair part of the main (necessary). If something like this had to happen I can't imagine having a better experience. I'd rather not have to spend this much money, but I can honestly say that it was well worth it, and we'll always call Roto-Rooter first!

The first tech they sent out was not friendly or helpful and not want to do the job. Said he needed a part which it turned out here didn't. The tech they sent out the next day was friendly, professional and fixed the problem. He informed me what to do in my end. He was great!

Zo did a fabulous job and so did Hunt! They were very thorough and explained everything. Also, loved our large dog. They did a great job!

Will never use this company again. Wanted $580 to replace wax ring. Hired for a job that they never completed yet charged for.

When I experienced a sudden plumbing issue, Roto-Rooter was able to send out an excellent technician within an hour although it was a Friday afternoon. The problem was quickly and professionally remedied, and at a reasonable price. Clint the technician was great! He realIy knew what he was doing. I will definitely call this company again for plumbing issues.

The technicians misdiagnosed the situation and told the owner the wrong information. Thankfully the owner found leak was from the water heater. Technicians gave us $100 off the bill for being wrong.

Sump pump went out Saturday morning and they were out within 45mins. The tech was great to work with. Will use again.

We had issues with our kitchen sink that a previous couple of contractors could not fix. Our tech came out within an hour this morning, went over options (we were relieved that we didn't get stuck with a $500+ bill), and then he got to work.He kept me informed when he ran into a pipe issue that needed to be fixed (needed a Y instead of a T piece), and went over a rubber coupling option until we could afford to get it replaced later. I really appreciated that he spoke to me instead of my husband since I called and I'm the one that handles most of the repair issues ?Once he was all done, he cleaned up, went over the work done and we were good to go. I'm also excited that we have a warranty in case something happened again.

Service was great. Had them install and remove a dishwasher. Techs were super professional and talented. 100% satisfied with service.The price to install a dishwasher was extraordinary high. I was being reimbursed for the installation, so the cost wasn’t a factor for me but if paying out of pocket, there is no way I would’ve paid their cost.

I got my main drain line pretty clogged. Couldn’t use any bathroom or the washer machine. I called Roto-Rooter and I am glad I did it. Clint Williams took excellent care of the problem. Explained everything to me and gave me some options to do the job in trying to save me some money. I followed his recommendation and it worked pretty well. He was right.I found the cost of the service very reasonable, but more importantly, I am really happy with his professionalism, experience and quality of service. We were incredibly impressed with our service. The lead technician was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and extremely helpful. Our repair was not an easy one; however, the team of two stayed until late into the evening to get the job finished. We are so grateful!

We had a clogged kitchen drain on Thanksgiving Day. Roto-Rooter was available on a Holiday evening and took care of the clog efficiently and professionally. Service rep Clint provided excellent service! Zero complaints!

Overall great experience. I called and they were out within the hour. I had a main sewage line clog and they were able to get everything back up and flowing. The field supervisor that came out was very friendly and helpful in explaining what was the problem and steps I needed to take to resolve problem from reoccurring. One issue I had which is probably true for all companies is up charging parts. Only part used was a wax ring for toilet and I can get one much cheaper than they charged me. But another thing is they put the toilet on very crooked so now I have to go and buy another wax ring so we can fix it. I was very pleased with their work.Update 1/09/2023 - at the time of my original review I was pleased with their work and still am but since having the issue I was having occur a few times more since my original review I would say they up chargé a whole lot more than most. They charged me $600 to do something that two other companies did for $300 and $175 dollars.

I had clogged drain from the house and Phil fixed the issue. Thorough explanations, professional and nice. Recommend roto rooter over ARS (who came out and did nothing).

They cleaned out my sewer line. Took 30min and charged me $484. Way too expensive for the time, effort, and equipment needed. I would not recommend Roto rooter.

Roto Rooter was everything you could ask for: A real person answered the phone, Experts arrived quickly, clean up was impressive and the effort to getting our basement dry was remarkable. Clint Willams came and augered the tpiket and was very professional and very poliet. He was timely and worked effciently. he was super great with the individuals as well.

Service tech was great but they messed up on the scheduling part and I had to go out of my way to come back to the place I work to be there for the service tech to enter due to a mistake on their end. Very frustrating.

Had a great experience with the Rotor Rooter team that showed up quickly on a Sunday afternoon. Matt, the Supervisor showed up first and explained everything, answered my questions and explained Rotor Rooter’s remediation options for water damage. Then Phil showed up to snake out both the interior and exterior lines to see where our clog was. Sure enough it was on the outside (tree roots). Terry stuck a camera in the line and scoped it all out and pointed out a potential problem for us. We were pleased and thankfully the house is back up and running. Want tho thank Rotor Rooter for sending such a professional and efficient team it truly was a team effort by those guys. Nice job!

Price is a little higher than I expected then guy did not turn on the water and he did not look in Faucet box for the tail piece pipe that matches Faucet and I have made 3 trip to hardware store to get parts. He was polite and I think maybe new. Second guy that came out to find out why I had not hot water was quick and good.

Kyle was very nice and very professional and also got the job done quick. 10/10 would recommend Kyle and Roto Rooter!

Used them for downspout drain line cleaning. Worker spent more time talking to me and on his phone then working. Work took much longer (4 hours) than it should have. Resulted in $1600 bill for cleaning just a few downspout drains. Failed to follow up on an estimate to reroute one drain. Would definitely not recommend this company for any service.

Kyle was fantastic and friendly. This is the second day we saw him and he is a hard worker and very kind.

Great service, super professional plumber. Our guy was great. Unfortunately, the company itself overcharges. $550 to unclog a drain is just flat-out disrespectful.

David fixed our garbage disposal better then when it was installed. The other guys put in the wrong plumbing and David corrected it without an extra charge. He also stuck around to make sure there was no leaking from the pipes. Thanks David !!!

They couldn't get to me that evening, but they called first thing in the morning and got a repair tech over. He quickly assessed the problem and told me the price to unclog the toilet. Kind of pricey for a 30 minute job, but at least it's repaired and working. I would recommend them, just be prepared to pay a hefty price.Update- so I had a bigger problem than just a clogged toilet. A major problem with my sewer pipe was found. Did have another company come out just to have two estimates in hand. Roto-rooter was by far the better one so I went with them and they had everything fixed in just a few days. Great job! Thanks guys!

Was quick to respond to an online request, even offered earlier appointments. Was on time and communicated through the problem. Finished the job with no open eneded questions.

I placed a request online last night around 8pm to have someone come unclog and inspect our sewage line from 8am-10am the next day. I did not even mark this as an emergency on the request; however, they had someone at our house the very next morning bright and early, service tech Phil Stillinger! He was extremely polite and very knowledgeable. When he realized we were going to need a camera in order to visualize the damage to the line, Hunt Waycott came to the rescue! Amazing people and great teamwork. Give these men a raise!! They went above and beyond to help us with our sewage line issues and continued to educate us on everything during the process. Highly recommend Roto-Rooter!

I originally gave a 5-star review immediately after the plumber left but after investigating, I am changing it to a 1-star. We were charged nearly $700 for an issue where the plumber fixed two sinks which took him 2 hours (as well as figuring out the issue). He told me his hourly pay was $340 which seemed like a lot, but at the time I did not know the issue and, being that it occurred during the weekend where there were not many available plumbers, I thought it was my only option. While working in the bathroom, he called me in to show me that the faucet handle was broke -- which he blamed on the original issue. He left for a half hour to get a new faucet (yes, that was part of the 2 hours that I had to pay for). He told me that he would discount the faucet and not charge me for it. He made a point to tell me that he was saving me $500+ for not charging me for the faucet replacement. So, at the time of my original review, I thought he was really doing me a favor. Well, today, I had some similar issues with: Washing machine, two sinks, and a toilet. I was able to fix the issue in all those things in the same amount of time this professional fixed the two sinks. I also looked up the faucet that he replaced. He installed a $53 faucet to replace a $130+ faucet that I just installed a year or two earlier. In all honesty, if it truly wasn't working, then I think he broke the original faucet. When he showed it to me, he showed it to me very quickly and took it with him when he left. There is no way in hell that what he did should have cost $680. I'll also add that he also tried to get me agree to allow him to remove my water softener (which was the cause of the original issue) for the same magic number of $340 plus the cost of a part. I asked him, Could I just bypass the water softener and save myself all that money? Which he responded sure.... I will never use Roto-Rooter again and do not recommend it.

Called at 7 am on a Saturday morning and the service tech Clint was at my house within 2 hours and the repair was completed by 11:00 am. Other plumbers would want to charge me extra for showing up on a Saturday (if they would show up at all) and the repair would be double since it was after hours. The next time I have a plumbing problem Roto Router and Clint will be the ones I call.

David with Roto Rooter was excellent. Very friendly, professional and a hard worker. He worked continuously until our drain was opened. Highly recommend.

Had a mixed experience. Our kitchen sink wasn't draining and we suspected tree roots in the main line. The plumber that came out was great and helped a lot. He also referred out a camera tech to take a look inside our pipes. The camera tech, who was also at the managerial level we believe, could not complete his task of pinpointing where the tree roots were. He also left without communicating how they would follow up, as the sink still wasn't draining. We called back and confirmed with the dispatch that we had another appointment that week. The same plumber came back out and was able to pull out the roots and left us with a maintenance solution we can use in the future. He then said as a free service, the camera tech would come out and inspect the quality of our old house's pipes. The camera tech called to say he'd call in a couple minutes to let us know he was on his way, but we didn't hear anything for an hour. When we called him he said he could come out next week instead as he didn't know where his camera was. He also wasn't sure why we wanted him out in the first place. We opted not to have him come out.

Phil was very prompt, courteous and professional. Within a short time, he had our drain cleared, and he made recommendations for maintenance. I can highly recommend Phil and would not hesitate to use him again.

Roto-Rooter was the only service I found that answered their phone after 6pm on a week night. Then they said they could have someone out within 4 hours. Their service went exactly as promised. The technician Benjamin was professional and explained everything before he performed the service so we would know exactly what to expect. Were they the cheapest? Likely no. But when my toilet flooded my first floor I didn't really take the time to price shop. I am grateful they came out and fixed the problem!

UPDATE: As nice as it was for the manager to reach out below, after sending my info, they didn't follow up at all. Pat Swanson clearly sent the note below for the optics that they care, but they don't.They tried to charge me $700 plus parts, to patch a problem and not even replace what is less than 10ft of water line. I got it done for $250 all in. Absolute rip off, and will never call them again. We're very thankful that Roto-Rooter could come first thing on a Sunday morning when we had sump pump problems on Saturday night. The clog was discovered, but had probably been there a long time, so the sump pump motor was friend and the system had to be replaced. Roto Rooter took care of all our sump pump issues thoroughly and professionally.

Roto-Rooter is a fraudulent company. I made an appointment online. They did not mention anything about diagnostic charge during appointment making. The guy came and he looked at it for 2 minutes. He then asked for 450$ for fixing the leak. I declined to proceed. He then asked for 130$ for diagnosis, which I paid. But, this should have been revealed during the appointment making. Roto-Rooter does not do it and commit fraud. Finally, I called a guy from Craigslist, who fixed it for 125$. I paid less for fixing the lick than a 2 mins diagnosis by Roto-Rooter. Never call Roto-Rooter and stay away from them.

George is so helpful, knowledgeable and kind. He put me at ease knowing that he would go out of his way to solve all my plumbing problems, including navigating confusing insurance issues. I am very impressed with such superior service.

Very quick response time from the call to them showing up at my door. Technician was nice and professional. At first a leak in the pipe was not found and that required another trip to the store. But everything was fixed and works great! Only complaint would be the cost, which felt very high.

Phil Stillinger was the tech that came out to clean out my main drain. He took his time and was able to clear everything out knowing I’m not in a place at this time to replace my clay pipe. Jack Crenshaw was the field supervisor on site. They both gave me good information on what was going on with pipes. Quoted me a price to get things updated but also was not pushy about getting it done right then. This is the 2nd time I’ve used Roto-Rooter and have had amazing see it both times. I will continue to always call them for any of my needs.

We had a huge sewer back up after we had people over on thanksgiving. We called rotor rooter and they came out within 30 min. it was a difficult job because the drain did not have a T joint, as it should have, from the clean out pipe to the main drain line. Kima had to guide the snake backwards through a difficult opening, He did and excellent job, Without his expertise the job would have taken longer, been more involved and cost more. He's a pro for sure.

The problem was not solved the first time. After calling to report the issue, the response was immediate. They sent Van out the same day within an hour. I was pleasantly surprised they also provided clean up and remediation.I was contacted by Miguel Campos almost immediately to coordinate the plumber repair and clean up. He was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. He took well documented pictures for the insurance, explained the process, reviewed the coverage with us, and provided a detailed plan for repair and clean up.I cannot say enough good things about the way he handled the concerns and questions of a very travel weary and slightly shell shocked family.

I was woken up this morning to my wife yelling that there was water in the bathroom downstairs. After some investigating, I determined that I had a clog between my house and the street. I called 3 other plumbers and nobody was available until tomorrow. Roto-Rooter was the 4th place I called. They could have a plumber to my house in 2 hours. I received a phone call 30 minutes prior to the plumbers arrival. The plumber, Van, was very professional and was pretty quick! Van was here for no more than 45 minutes and was able to clear the clog. Roto-Rooter then sent out a field supervisor to inspect Van’s work (and to make sure there wasn’t damage from tree roots) by sending a camera down the drain pipe. Based on this experience, I would recommend and call again. Thanks Van!

Roto Rooter came out to snake a drain at a property my company is helping sell. I was supposed to be at the property to let the technician in. He showed up on time and completed the job as requested. However, we also requested the pipes to be scoped so we could have pictures to show the buyers. This technician was not able to preform this, but he took my number for his supervisor to schedule. It’s been 2 and half days without any call from Roto Rooter to schedule this service. I’ve reached out a couple times to schedule but nothing.I have no issue with the first half of the services provided, but this has been a time sensitive matter and it’s been frustrating to not receive a simple phone call to schedule an appointment.

While they were draining our water heater they missed our drain causing our ceiling to bubble and leak. Then when found they initially tried to say it was a preexisting condition and was on us but once they sent someone out it was determined they had missed the drain. Because of this they installed dehumidifier to dry out area and offered to paint area if we need it.Then once new unit was installed later that day they couldn’t get it to turn on claiming something was wrong with our breaker box so we needed to schedule an electrician to look at it ( out of our own pocket) then they would come back to wire it up even though it was just fine before they touched it. I asked to speak to his supervisor and was told he gave him my number and I should expect a call from him soon.( 3 days later still no call fyi) they sent a new team out the next day and was able to get the power working no electrician necessary . Turns out it also was a bad unit so had to uninstall and hook up a new unit. Oh yea plus was quoted at 1500 to 2000. got charged the 2000. Kyle was prompt and kind. The other gentleman that came on second attempt was very experienced and got the job done.

I thought I could do the job myself until it was a bigger job than I had realized. I called and they had a tech out to me in less than an hour; problem fixed 30 minutes after that. Phil Stillinger and Terry Mallory were awesome! They came out in the timeframe provided and were extremely professional and informative. They troubleshot some problems, ran the camera out our line to the septic tank and found a root to be our problem.

The two servicemen who came out to service our clogged drain in the basement were very professional and educational. They provided a considerable amount of information regarding the drain. They were able to unclog it and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely use them agin.

Our front man was Miguel Ocampos, we cannot praise him and his team from Roto-Rooter enough for getting us right on track when we had water damage in the house. Very knowledgeable and very patient which is always great when you’re working with a homeowner who is freaking out about all of the damage that needs to be cleaned up. He takes time to explain each and every process that they will be doing and is always willing to answer questions when you think about them once you’ve calmed down. I had watched a video on YouTube about cleaning up water damage, I watched a few and the video from Roto-Rooter was very informative and that is how I made my decision to choose this company. I would highly recommend to anyone who has had water damage cleanup, Rotor-Rooter get an A+ in our book.

The technician was polite and professional. However, he was a bit late. He was there for an hour and a half and installed a new garbage disposal and the company charged me $727, which I thought was high. However, I was contacted by the owner who was very helpful and explained the pricing and gave me 20% off the total price. He was very understanding and compassionate. I would recommend them and I will probably use them in the future.

Roto rooter has provided good service for me multiple times. Most recently the techs Clint and Josh have helped with some commercial drain clearing, pipe jetting, and a clogged toilet. They both have provided fast service with a great positive attitude.

This was a great experience. We had a severely clogged kitchen drain and I called Roto-Rooter. They sent Kris out within about an hour and a half. He was professional and very friendly. He answered all of our questions and explained everything he was doing. It was raining out and he was very careful with his shoes and equipment when coming in and out of the house. He unclogged the drain successfully and double checked his work before cleaning everything up. If you have plumbing needs I recommend Roto-Rooter and Kris W.

We had someone come out on short notice as we were concerned about a frozen pipe to our toilet. The tech comes out, ascribes problem to the toilet itself, and not the pipes, charges us almost 500 dollars to get it working literally for 2 flushes, and it’s not filling again. We’ve had two different service people here who barely speak English, so it’s close to impossible to communicate which is a huge problem when dealing with house repairs. I am not one who typically has the time or inclination to leave negative reviews on line but I’m very frustrated with this service.

Service person came within time promised. Was able to fix two sinks when the owner was unable to install new plumbing himself. Service person was able to fix the sinks in one visit and in a timely manner.

Rotorooter made it out within two hours of contacting them. They helped me diagnose the cause of a water leak and get the walls opened up. I didn't end up using them for the repair (chose to do it myself), but the price was super reasonable for their help and they came out right away. Great experience!

It was great service until the end. The gentleman they sent out to measure the dryness unplugged my fridge and deep freezer once the drying process was finished attempting to turn off the equipment. I did not notice until later on when rotor rooter came back out to pick up the equipment much later. The floor was wet again with water from the melting ice. Had to trash a lot of food. Not sure how that mistake was made since it was an extension cord of mine with only those two items hooked up. But other than that issue great service.

The price was considerably higher than expected, but given the situation...we approved. Per formed the work, unclogged the drain, and left. I called 4 other places first. They either didn’t do drain issues, couldn’t come today, a Sunday, despite listing 24/7 service. But finally my call was answered and a tech was out within 2 hours. I had water backing up from a floor drain, under my flooring, also causing my washing machine drain and kitchen sink to back up. A mess! Phil Stillinger tech#5264 is the drain guy! Professional, knowledgeable, explained everything & very thorough. Roto-rooter is the only one who comes to the rescue!

Roto-Rooter was out promptly, and cleared a clog in the drain. The water if flowing smoothly now. The one downside is they couldn't scope the pipe to verify due to a P-trap and they didn't have the smaller scope on hand.

My sump pump motor died. I called RR and Tina answered. She was knowledgeable and sent a tech out within the hour at no charge. The tech was able to install a new motor and backup motor that day. He was professional and knowledgeable. He was done in 3 hours and cleaned up after himself. I have a 5 year warranty on the motor and a 1 year warranty on the labor. They have a high labor cost but they are worth it and deserve it. I could not do what he did. He cleaned out the bottom of my sump pump pit and the smell almost took me out of this world. If I had this career, I would ask to be paid what I am worth as well.

We chatted about the problem and he explained how we could do a better job about preventing it in the future. Considering experience, Roto-Rooter remains on the high end for pricing when it comes to repairs, however the experience was smooth and pleasant. I enjoyed my experience and the technician was very professional, respectful and knowledgeable. Slightly disheartening knowing you're being over charged for minor repairs. I guess it comes with the territory.

When our basement toilet backed up, we called Roto-Rooter. They were at our home about 2 hours after the initial call on a Saturday night and quickly realized that the issue was a failed ejector pump. We had a sewage water leak in our basement as a result and it was just a mess. First, they located what appeared to be the problem and then got a restoration crew over immediately that evening. Manuel then calmly assessed the situation and took action to have the restoration work completed the following morning. Keelan (sp?) did all the demo and made sure the clean up and sanitation was all taken care of. Overall, the team did a really good job even after facing some challenges along the way.In terms of feedback, the only thing I can think about is that they could be more proactive with picking up their equipment after the restoration is completed. It wasn't a big deal but I had to call and they came to pick up their equipment that same day. Will definitely reach out to Roto-Rooter if we ever have another issue arise.

I had to have my water heater replaced and luckily I was still under warranty for parts but unfortunately not labor. Roto Rooter came out, which by the way I highly recommend service technician #6516 his name is Van. Very professional! He went above and beyond to take care of something for me that he knew I wasn’t happy about and got it taken care of when honestly he didn’t have to. If and when I have to call on Roto Rooter again for anything I’m asking for Van! Great customer service!

They came out the the morning after I put in a request which was awesome. My sump pump failed and they diagnosed and fixed the issue on the same day. Vala was my technician and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the entire process and communicated everything to me to help me learn the process more about my sump pump. Finally, after a quick google search to see how much a new sump pump/install was, they were quite a bit below the average cost in the area and I was very, very appreciative of that. I will definitely use again if a service they provide is needed.

At our business we had our women’s restroom toilet get clogged down into the pipes right at the end of a long day of theatre productions. It shut down every stall in the restroom. I immediately got a hold of Roto-Rooter via phone at 9pm on a Friday and we were setup for first thing in the morning on a Saturday! I thought for sure we wouldn’t get service until Monday, but they pulled through! Our guy was Kyle and he was great and knowledgeable. He was also fast! He had us up and running again in less than 30 minutes.

This is the second time we have had to use this company in the last 3 years for 2 different issues. Their technicians are professional and very thorough. They are done in a little over an hour each time. Jeff J came this time and couldn’t be any more pleased with his work.

Juhmal came to clear our clogged drained. His tool wasn’t working properly so he called Jeff out to help. Once Jeff arrived they both were working to try and get our drain unclogged. Jeff felt something was wrong so he called Terry to come bring the camera out to look into the sewer running to the house. The three of them worked great together to figure out why the clog was happening.

Leleng arrived within 30 min. after we called for service on a weekend evening. He did a very thorough job figuring out where the clog was in our sewer line. He worked hard and fixed the problem. We recommend this company for emergency plumbing.

Very happy with the service and professionalism from everyone at Roto-Rooter. Our sump pump stopped working during a week of very heavy rain, which caused an overflow of about 2 inches of water into our basement. From the field supervisor that first came out (and was here on a Saturday within 30 minutes of my initial call), to the service techs that did the water extraction, to the plumber that came and replaced the sump pump, we have been extremely satisfied from start to finish.

Scheduled service to come out and look at a shower drain leaking on the top floor, creating issues in a closet below. Team came out, assessed the situation and was able to fix the problem in a very short amount of time.All options were discussed as they were diagnosing the issue so I knew what options I had. Service was fantastic and would use them again.

I had a clog in my master bathroom toilet from the outside drain to the sewer connection to the city. The clog was cleared up and now I'm waiting for the camera guy to show me what's inside the pipe. The technician was courteous and professional and their promptness was appreciated. I've never had to use this service I consider myself lucky but if you do it's quite pricey, fyi. I did not have time to call around to get prices I needed this resolved and had a coupon that helped somewhat. While customer service is lacking so badly these days I appreciate the professionalism by this technician. Thank you!

My technician showed up in a timely manner to fix our outdoor faucet that they installed three years ago. The faucet never worked properly, and we just made do. This summer though we wanted to get it fixed so that our son could use a sprinkler. The tech was friendly, but he said that all he needed to do was go to a store and buy a part. The part was one that screwed on and off the top of the faucet, which was all that needed to be done to fix the problem. That was fine until I asked how much it would cost. At first he told me $450 plus the part! To unscrew the pressure valve and screw in a new one! He then said $250 plus the part! I understand that he should be paid for his time and effort, but that is insane for a job that took all of 10 minutes. I told him that I would wait and do it myself, and he said that he would just charge me a diagnosis fee of $130 and fix it. Being that he had told me all about his pregnant wife and how they need money, I hesitantly agreed to the price even though it is still an absurd amount for a job that literally anyone could do. Keep in mind that this is something that was faulty when they installed it the first time for well over $300. I do not understand their pricing and it seems that they try to get the most money possible out of customers.

The men who were sent out did an excellent job. Van was exceptionally polite and efficient. He explained what he was doing and checked to be sure the problems were fixed before he left the house.

I am less than impressed. They did arrive quickly and worked quickly. I appreciated that, however, from the beginning communication was awful. They also require a card to be on file before they start any work. The work is completed, they have my card and I still haven't seen a receipt. It feels like we have been taken, but I am hoping that's not the case. Everyday we were told something a little different than the day before. First, all of our flooring needed to come out and the bottom of our drywall needed to be cut out. Once they new we were paying out of pocket they looked at the drywall more closely and said it hadn't drawn ANY moisture. While I appreciate them double checking and working with our budget, it seemed like if the insurance was paying they were going to do the work regardless of whether it actually needed to be done or not. They also took the work right up to our budget ( we only know this because we asked on the phone what we were being charged). This may have been them working with us, but it could also have been them doing just the right amount of work so they could charge us our full budget. Another example of poor communication was what we were being told about the carpet. It was put on the work order that the section of the carpet needed to be cut out. After the work was done it was not cut out so we asked the worker who was doing the inspection the following day. He told us it didn't need to come out. We followed up with the office and the manager said it did need to come out. He came out the next day and cut it out himself. He also took some of the equipment (after we asked if it could be removed) and said that the other equipment would come out the next day. The following day another worker did the inspection and told us the equipment needed to stay. Then the next day when the next inspector came he mentioned that the equipment had been left upon our request (which it was not). To summarize, they responded and worked quickly, but if you like clear communication and knowing how your money is being spent, roto-rooter is not for you.UPDATE: On top of this they ended up charging the wrong card. We gave them one card to begin with, and because of some other expenses, asked to change the card we had on file. We gave them the other card number over the phone. They charged the first card anyway.

After dealing with many technicians that weren't getting the job done Damon McCune came out to finally finish fixing our issue and was very polite, professional and informative. We appreciate him going the extra mile for us.

I had a sumo pump failure and about 1-2 inches of standing water in my basement. From the start of the process one of their Technicians, Miguel Campos, was friendly, clear, and quite helpful! Immediately made me feel good about my decision to call Roto. Together we called my insurance filed a claim and he got to work! I’m grateful for their help in this matter, especially since I’m a first time homeowner and it was my first time going through this problem!

Phil was super friendly, professional and really saved our night. He walked us through everything before he did it, and while we’re gonna have to repair a bunch of stuff, it’s not Phils fault! We’re just happy he was able to help us use our toilets again!

We had an excellent experience. The toilet was clogged and they sent someone out within 1 1/2 hours. Phil throughly reviewed the situation and provided us with two estimates. He completed the work within minutes and we were charged the amount he had estimated. Phil is very nice, very clean and respectful of our home and extremely knowledgeable. If you have a chance to use them ask for Phil. You will be happy with his expertise.

I'll start by saying that RotoRooter was not my first choice but I was in a tough position and couldn't reach any other local plumbers, so I went with them because of the convenient online scheduling. Both technicians were very courteous, professional and worked hard to get the job done. I have no issues with them. My reason for the 3 star rating is mainly to do with the front office communication and their pricing. The first technician came out with the equipment necessary to unclog our main sewer line. I didn't realize until after he finished that a second technician had to come out to run a camera through the pipes to inspect for other problems. Why they don't equip or train each technician to do both of these services, even though they're both included in the $650 price I was given, is beyond me. It seems like a big inconvenience for all parties involved. I also had to call the office 3 times to confirm when the second tech would arrive. It made a 2 hour inconvenience, a full day affair. Once the second tech finished his inspection he gave me the bad news that more significant repairs were required and quoted me $4200 to excavate and replace our cleanout. Once he left I quickly got a quote from another local plumber of $2200 and only $1000 if I did the excavation. So half the price for the same work. It's a shame that these big name trade companies take advantage of people in bad situations and who simply don't know any better. I really dislike how the pricing is pulled from a chart, regardless of what it will actually take to get the job done. Why not time and materials? I ended up doing the excavation work myself which took about 4 hours. With proper excavating equipment it probably would have taken 30 minutes. Needless to say, I did not go with RotoRooter to complete the repair and I'll likely never use them again if I have the choice.

My basement floor drain became clogged. I spent hours attempting to snake the drain myself however I was unable to clear the clog. The technician showed up and was able to clear our drain within an hour. He was polite and professional.

We called someone out to fix our plumbing as it was backing up when we drained the washer. They installed a clean out on the pipe, without explaining the point of it, and charged us $500. This was after they said they wouldn’t charge us if it didn’t fix the problem. They then sent someone out who said they had to dig up our backyard to replace a pipe for $6,000. They dug up the backyard, ran into a problem, and said they didn’t know what to do. After that, they dug another hole through concrete to look at more pipes and were on their way to dig a 3rd hole in my yard before we stopped them. When the bill was coming to $12,000 we said we no longer wanted their services and this all started because we just wanted to use our washer. At that point, we had a plumber to our house and our plumbing fixed within an hour. I am still unsure what the 3 weeks of back and forth were about when it could’ve been solved in an hour on the first day we called someone out.

I have to give Roto-Rooter five stars but I'll say this I could not afford to pay the money they wanted... We had to call upon the church members to come and figure out how to proceed.. Roto-Rooter was very accommodating and understanding that we had a big problem but we just couldn't pay the fee... 3 days and 15 people got the job done.

Miguel Campos, the water restoration field supervisor, answered all my questions during the initial visit. He also continued to address any concerns or questions via text or call throughout the entire process. The Entire team was polite and respectful of my work schedule. I highly recommend them.

Alex did a great job unclogging our main sewer line that was causing the toilet to drain very slowly. He used the see snake camera to show me all of the roots, debris and other concerns that were preventing drainage. He was able to carefully cut out the roots and clear other debris in a short time without damaging the pipes. After clearing the blockages, he again used the camera to confirm the entire sewer line was clear and free-flowing throughout.

Kris and Hunt did a fabulous job. Cleaned out again and explained to us the status of our sewer system from the house to the street.

The guy that came out seemed as if he didn't want to complete the job. He didn't fix one of the issues that he told me needed to be fixed. Which was to replace the master fluid pump. He did not fix. All he did was unclog the toilet. He didn't fix the garbage disposal or the leak under my kitchen sink. He was really in a rush to leave.

Miguel Campos was not only an intelligent and knowledgeable repair man/project lead he was competent, supportive and very helpful. Sump pump failed causing a flood in the finished basement.Lal arrived fairly promptly on short notice on a Friday afternoon to address the problem. Installed a sump pump and helped arrange water damage mitigation service to assist in fixing the damage and restoration.Lal explained what he was doing, why he was doing it and confirmed my understanding of what needed to be done and associated costs.

Clint and Sean were very responsive in coming to assess our possible mold situation. Clint checked every possible location that a leak may have occurred, checked under carpet and around baseboards without causing any damage. Sean used tools and cameras to help determine that we had an air leak rather than a water leak. They gave our family peace of mind by determining that it wasn’t mold. Thank you for coming quickly, even on the weekend!

Miguel Campos showed up from Roto Rooter after I called when we found our upstairs bathroom flooded and coming through the ceiling of downstairs. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done. He had the plumber get her to fix the leak, then he got someone out to our house to do demo and start drying the bathroom and leaks up so that no more damage was done on a Saturday evening. He spoke to my home owners insurance for me and got everything taken care of in about an hour! I would recommend Roto Rooter and Miguel Campos to anyone that needs work done!

Ask for Kyle! I have a root problem with old clay pipe that needs attention annually. I always ask for Kyle because he always takes his time to understand the problem even if we think the roots are in the same location as the last time. He’s willing to make an adjustment if we don’t fix it in the first try and doesn’t try to gouge me on price. Very fair, very professional.

Lal was the technician who arrived to help with a refrigerator copper line replacement. He was great at explaining different options, and extremely fast and efficient. He was even nice enough to help setup the fridge after the work was done. As for Roto Rooter I would use them again.

They left a bunch of trash in my basement including an area rug ( a worker named Sean said) should have been removed. The insurance people also confirmed this. One worker asked me to take a picture of the monitors and send it to him because he was under the weather. I have a screen shot of his text which I also shared with Damon. They not only did not pay me to do this. They tried to charge me for my work.They pressured me to sign off saying I was pleased. I paid (Damon did adjust my bill); but, I still have to pay someone else to remove the trash they left. I can not refer any of my friends to your company for any services.

Zo was knowledgeable and knew what to do to get the job done.I have used Petermans for my plumbing in the past and they couldn’t unclog the drain and they sent out 4 different techs, gave me 3 different solutions, 3 different quotes which was 3x the cost of Roto Rooter.Zo also informed me of plumbing issues that might be of concern in the crawl space going forward. Petermans has been in my crawl space a half dozen times in the past year & never made mention of these issues.I will use Roto Rooter for all of my plumbing needs going forward.

First of all, I admit, Roto-Rooter was the last company I called. I was worried about big name big price issues, and a long wait for service. Wrong, and wrong again! Within 40 minutes of my initial call an agent was at my door. I worked with Miguel and he was able to immediately identify the problem, which ended up being far more severe than I had anticipated. Moments after we had an action plan in place. He helped us through all of the tedium, all the paperwork, all the insurance business.. this guy KNEW what he was doing! Next day I get the call for the service crew to come start the process, these two guys show up, right at the time they said they would. Despite having to work hard and physically, even after being reassured that we would stay away so they wouldn’t have to wear COVID masks, they refused.. said it was policy and they didn’t want to make us uncomfortable.. I’m vaxed and wouldn’t have minded, but was impressed that even when given the option to not, these guys still kept policy in priority! Beyond that they were friendly, allowed me to observe and ask questions, kept me in the loop of everything they were doing, and by the time they were finished I genuinely felt like this had been two of my buddies that came to help me, and not a company. It was done in a single session, to my satisfaction, and since I’m still waiting for the house to get put back together I can absolutely confirm that they fixed my issue, no further damage was caused, and the clean up they provided afterwards left my house looking like they hadn’t even been there... well except for the missing walls and ceiling of course. Honestly I could keep going on and I am rarely inclined to praise businesses, these people fully deserve to be recognized though, I was legit impressed and consider myself roto-rooter for life! When our 50 gallon water heater broke and flooded our basement, I called Roto Rooter, and was so impressed by the fast response, since it was after normal business hours. The woman I spoke with was so helpful and said that help was on the way. Miguel and Bill arrived promptly.Miguel explained how the restoration process works, and Bill told us hewould be removing the damaged water heater and replacing it with a new one. We accepted their estimate and they offered to start working thatevening, but we opted to wait until the next day, as it was getting late.Damon, the project manager, called and said that two restoration specialists would be at our home in the morning.Stan and Noah arrived right on time and did a wonderful job of cleaningand sanitizing the basement, and removed wet flooring and baseboards.They set up several fans and de-humidifiers to help speed up the drying process. They explained that someone would stop by once a day tocheck on everything.That same day, Bill and Lalvan came to haul out the broken water heater and install a new one. They did a fantastic job!Everyone we had contact with during this entire process was great towork with: professional, highly skilled, friendly, and helpful in every way.We will definitely call Roto Rooter for any future plumbing and restorationneeds!

Initially I called several plumbing companies to unstop a clogged kitchen sink drain but found they couldn't come out for at least 5 days. Fortunately for me, Eric from Roto-Rooter said he could come out the same day and did and got it unclogged right away. Thanks Eric and Roto-Rooter!

These guys have been absolutely phenomenal and even came out to my house at 7pm and were here till almost 10pm. Miguel was very thorough with everything and even made sure to get his best guy on our leak named Eddie. I would recommend them along with their restoration crew that was on time the next day and was very thorough with drying out our leak.

I had a clog i could not clear myself. I called and set up a service call and they arrived on time. He tried for quite a long time to clear it and finally was able to clear it, but one of my very old metal pipes broke. It was not his fault. He gave me an estimate and brought in two additional people to assist the next morning. They had several hours of work because we have no crawl space. They were very nice and they stuck to the estimate. Our technician was named Khuma #4293.We were VERY Pleased with their attitude and professionalism. They cleaned up the entire mess and we would recommend and use them again. They were better than we remember from our previous uses several years ago. Thanks!

Van came at just the time he said he would. He was very professional, but kind and respectful. He worked diligently at installing my new water heater which was a much tougher job than usual. He was very efficient.

Kyle came over in less than an hour after I had an emergency plumbing issue at my home. Roto-Rooters came into the grocery store I work at and fixed a major issue we had with the loading dock drain holding water. They fixed the problem in a matter of a few hours and saved us from a lot of headaches. They were knowledgeable of the issue and our equipment.

I called for service thinking I could get an appointment within a couple days. To my surprise, they had a technician out in 45 minutes. The technician, Jeff, was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and made sure we were satisfied with the service before he left. He also made sure we were aware of the warranty. Every time they came to my place they kept adding more & more work that needed to be done. They tore out more stuff to my place than what needed to be done & what they said. Also they tried to charge me twice for something. This company is just money hungry & don't care about their customers. One night they needed to get there equipment & it wasn't a good night for us, b/c we had plans. They demanded they get it that night. We did agree on a time they could come, but they were almost an hour late. We almost left & was about to say they can come a different day & time. This company isn't professional & don't every use them unless you want to pay more than what they say at the beginning & tare up your place more than what needs to be done. All this company cares about is money, money, money.

The representative that did my service was sent by my rental office. I failed to get his name. He was very polite and asked what I had been experiencing. After listening to me he did an inspecting. He contacted the representative for the apartment and got approval.Upon finishing the service he gave me suggestions to avoid in the future. Great job??

I was charged $750 dollars in labor for a job that took 1.5 hours by a single plumber. I was then charged an additional $200 in parts for 2 valves and a foot of copper pipe. Seems excessive

Van Hruaia was extremely responsive snd helpful in the middle of the night and he was able to bring in Miguel Campos to assist in finding the issue. My fiancé and I came home after a relaxing Fourth of July weekend to a busted pipe underneath our home. Roto-rooter came out within the hour we called for service. I had the unfortunate experience of having my toilet overflow over the weekend. I called Roto-Rooter's emergency number and customer service representative I got was excellent. She was very sympathetic to my situation and very understanding. She informed me of how they would come out to assess my situation for free and then give me a price. If I didn't like the price I was able to decline service and the assessment would be of no cost to me. When Artie arrived he was very informative and fixed my problem in a timely manner. All I was pleased with the service I received this weekend.

I was doing laundry and when the washer drained, the drain pipe was clogged. The dirty water backed up and leaked everywhere. At the same time, dirty water filled up in my bathroom sink. I called Roto-Rooter and they sent out Phillip. He was able to snake the drain pipe and double checked that everything was flowing to the outside main sewer line before he left. He did an amazing job and even explained some changes that I might make to the pipes, to help prevent future problems. The only con to the visit was the price. The prices went up this year but Phillip gave me a discount to help with the cost. The company does give a 6 month guarantee also.

Van and Hngaka installed a water heater early Sunday morning. The were very kind and professional. They were here to help. I felt very comfortable inviting them in to my home. I will definitely call them again and request Van and Hngaka.

I called to get a technician to check why I didn't have any water , one my question was how much will it cost? The person on the phone said don't worry the technician will show up and give you a free estimate and you will decide whether to get the problem fixed or not. When the technician shows up he ended charging me $120 because he said that's what he charged to tell me what the problem is. Not calling them again unless I get my $120 back.

I was very impressed on the timely arrival, competence, and knowledge of the service technician. He took the time to explain what was going on with my pipes and commode and every step was explained very thoroughly before he proceeded. He did not sell me something I did not need. My dishwasher over flowed because of a clog... we just moved to the area so we didn’t know who to call. I just googled free estimates. Once I talked to RR they came out immediately which shocked me! I clogged my drain and was very nervous when our handy man said he couldn’t fix it. I called Roto Rooter and they came out that day! Great customer service by telephone and a good notice that a technician was on his way.When he arrived, Kyle was friendly, attentive, and took great care of my home. I called for an emergency service call on Sunday night and was told they were booked up. Called another plumber and was told it would be about $250 for a sunday night emergency call and have the leaking elbow on my hot water heater line fixed. I called Roto Rooter back and got an appointment for Monday thinking I might save about $100. (Keep in mind, this is a crack in a little elbow. Solder the crack or replace the elbow right?) Technician comes over and charges me $365 to fix the leak, and then I see a picture and he had put 5 Shark Bite fittings on this one pipe just to fix the elbow and it took 10 minutes and $50 worth of fittings! $365!! I could've had it taken care of a day earlier on a weekend night for cheaper and not had half a dozen fittings puzzled together! And no, i'm not going to copy this and email it to you with all of my information Roto Rooter.

My jobs toilet was broken and they called one guy who made it worse. Then the Kris from RR. Came and fixed his mistake and our toilet. And fast too.

Technician Kris arrived promptly, even though it was a Saturday afternoon, and was very polite. He explained the possible problems clearly and went straight to work. After I had been charged almost $600 for them to pull my upstairs toilet and snake the line (per the tech’s recommendation) the field supervisor stopped by and told me that for future it should be flushed from the outside clean out which costs hundreds less. Why didn’t they tell me that and go that route to begin with??? I was also told that this may not have fixed the problem and that I “may need to call a plumber.”I’m absolutely baffled by this experience.I also have a disgusting mess all the way up my carpeted stairs from him dragging the snake machine up and am going to need to pay for a carpet cleaning as a result.There was also equipment left behind that he had to call to come pick up later.

I called for an estimate to replace a sewage pump and was advised someone would have to come out to provide a quote. Someone was supposed to arrive between 12-4, calling 30 minutes in advance. At 6:30 I receive a call from a rude man who said it would be $400 more than another quote I received and only a 30 day warranty vs. 3 years at the competitor. He asked if I wanted someone to come out and I said no thank you as they didn’t show for the earlier appointment and I was proceeding to say they were overpriced when he just hung up. They won’t be considered for any of my future business.

I called RotoRooter on a Saturday morning when we had no hot water. The phone operator was very patient and helpful. I asked to to be on the first time slot of the day. Phil texted me within 10 minutes and was at my door in another 20 minutes. After inspection of my 37 yr old water heater we decided the best use of money was to replace it. Phil helped me get 2 different discounts. I was very impressed with his professionalism. He was very send that the fact that we were limited in our present resources. Phil also was very informative when explaining how the newer unit worked and needed maintained. We shook hands and he was off to help someone else get hot water by 2 p.m.! That’s great service! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We had a Saturday morning kitchen drain emergency and Roto-Rooter was able to come quickly. The plumber was very knowledgeable and good at explaining the main issue then fixed it immediately. We appreciated the intelligence and years of experience the plumber had.

We had a plumber from Roto-Rooter come to our house because we were having issues with the garbage disposal. When he first came in he was spending a lot of time on one side of our sink before I had to point out that our disposal was on the complete opposite side of the sink. Once he found the disposal and started working he told us the whole disposal needed to be replaced and that it would cost $700+ for him to replace it that day. We decided we wanted to get a second opinion and thank god we did. A plumber from another company came out a few days later and fixed the disposal literally within 15 minutes. Would not recommend this company.

Had a sewage ejection pump fail. Called Roto-Rooter at 11AM and the pump was replaced and functional 90 minutes later. Excellent service performed much faster than expected. The technician (#3121) arrived within 30 minutes to my location (46219) and had the replacement pump on his truck. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Had a guy come out to look at our water heater. Hot water was running out really fast and the breaker kept tripping. From the very beginning I got the vibe the guy wasn’t interested in finding out what was wrong. Just stood there looking at the tank and asked me how old the water heater was. Told him 4 years old. Asked me 2 more times the same question. He opened up where the elements are and said they were reading fine. Then proceeds to tell me the easiest thing to do is contact the water heaters warranty and have them ship out a new one just to tell them it was leaking (which it wasn’t) and he would install it for 750.Decided to get a second opinion and thank god I did. Other company came out told us one of the elements was done for and it would cost 275 to replace the one or 330 to replace both. Figured replacing both was the better choice. Very professional and knew what they were doing compared to the guy that came out from Rooter.

We had an issue with drains backing up and flooding our utility room that became a bit of an emergency situation. We had never tried Roto-Rooter before but they were first to pop up through an internet search. Within an hour of calling, technician Van, (I believe his employee number is 3301) arrived and was very fast, effective and professional, took the time to explain what he was finding and told us how he was going to fix the problem which he promptly did. He not only got our drains back working properly but thought it worth our time to have someone with a camera check our main line and set up to have someone call us about that first thing the coming week. We plan on following his recommendations with that. Additionally, he gave us a very good first impression of Roto-Rooter and based on this experience we will be repeat customers whenever we have another similar problem in the future.

The 24hr emergency services is a lie. I contacted this company around 8pm on a Saturday and was told someone would be at my home for sure by 11pm. Then I get a call at 10pm informing me no one was able to come out but they can schedule me an appointment for the following day which was Sunday. Completely wasted my time. Time I could have used to contact someone else. This alone let your costumers know that your plumbers aren’t willing to leave their families on the weekend to help another family in need. Also, their night operator asked so many questions when I called to request emergency services that I had to interrupt her just to say ma’am I have an emergency who cares about how I found you. I would not recommend this company if you need anything outside of normal business hours. They are unreliable which I find to be very unprofessional. Take your chances with Acme or another local company in your area. Acme was unable to get someone out, however they did have someone return my call after I spoke with a live operator to assess the situation and talk us through how to shut off the emergency water shut off valve so that we could at least stop the water temporarily. His call back and assistance was greatly helpful and appreciated.

Called Roto Rooter up to change some corroded connections from my old washer hoses to be replaced with new ones. I called the number, the operator was very nice and helpful. within one hour a plumber was at my home. He evaluated the issue and was able to remove the old corroded lines and replace them with new ones on the spot. The whole experience was fast and efficient.. I was able to enjoy and use my new washer immediately. I feel i was charged a fair price for a job well done as far as i am concerned.. Roto rooter will definitely be the first call I make for any of my future pluming needs..

Highly recommended service! We've had a leaking bathtub faucet for longer than I like to admit and we had reached a breaking point (literally and figuratively) on a Saturday afternoon--of course. I called Roto-Rooter and explained the issue; within an hour, Andrew C. (#4782) was diagnosing the issue. Due to schedules, the only day I could be available for a repair was that Thursday after 4:00pm--which they cheerfully accommodated. Once again, Andrew arrived with all the parts and had the problem fixed incredibly quickly! The bottom seal on my water heater was leaking. They showed up within a couple hours and quoted for a new water heater. The very next day they came out, removed my old water heater, and installed the new one in under 2 hours. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I contacted Roto-Rooter as a second opinion on a drain repair after being quoted much higher by a competitor. Chris and Kyle did a fantastic job identifying and fixing the problem. They were prompt and efficient. Will contact them again with any future issues.

My parents plumbing was stopped up. Called Roto-Rooter at 8:00 A.M. and someone showed up by 9:00 A.M. I was very impressed with how quickly they responded. The first gentleman came to see if the damage would be covered by insurance, he was extremely kind and nice to my parents. Then the other tech Jeff showed up and he was extremely kind and very helpful in fixing my parents plumbing issue. We will definitely use them again if we have another issue.

Technician Jered 7339 was here for about 0.5 hr, but charged me $339 for 1 hr. All he did was cutting a hole on my living room ceiling, flushing a couple of time my toilet and bathtub upstairs. Worst of all, he cut the toilet drain pipe while cutting the ceiling. Though the cutting was not through at this point, it creates a potential leak problem for future. No sorry, no fixing to the mis-cutting to the pipe.

We discovered our crawl space had flooded New Year's day. They were out within 2 hours of our emergency call to start on the mitigation process. The following morning someone from the Roto-Rooter Team came over and literally walked me through the insurance claim process and told me they would be back that afternoon to continue with mitigation. I tried to get my kitchen sink draining again on my own, but to no avail. I knew I had to use a plumbing company and since I’d used Roto-Rooter before I was confident that they would solve my problem. I was worried that since it was a weekend that I would have to pay an additional cost, but was told when I called, that would not be the case. They told me I would have a technician in 2 hours or less. Kyle Wiening was my technician. He was very approachable, knowledgeable, a good listener and was willing to let me learn by watching him. He treated my home with respect as he would his own. He put on the shoe protection and was very careful when setting up and using the device that removed the blockage. He also educated me on how to use the garage disposal so I won’t have any further issues. Even though the clogged up kitchen sink was stressful, Kyle made it a pleasant experience. Very quick and very professional. The serviceman was timely and quickly repaired an old water heater without any issue. I had a great experience all the way from the scheduler who answered the phone, the plumber/specialist Puia, the supervisor Ron, and the team leader who scheduled all his team to come to my house. They all came out same day and were extremely polite and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Roto Rooter to anyone needing plumbing and pipe clean out services. They were amazing.

Eddie was an absolute life saver. Our drainage pipe was getting backed up with saw sewage, especially on heavy rainy days. I had several different places come to diagnose the issue, all who said that I would have to spend thousands of dollars to have several large areas dug up with new piping placed in. I reached out to Roto Rooter to see if they could give another option. The lady on the phone was very pleasant and was able to get me an appointment that day but informed me that it would be a in the afternoon, however roughly 20 minutes or so, another lady called me and said that they had a technician in the area and was able to come by in the next 30 minutes if I was okay with that. Well of course. I was met by Eddie, who was not only professional but very friendly. He listened to my worries and complaints and immediately went to diagnose the issues. He didn't mind me following him and asking him question after question, in fact he wanted me to and would motion now and then to show me what he was explaining. After taking the time to look and slow down unlike the other places, Eddie was very confident that he was able to fix my flooded basement. He showed me the prices up front and broke everything down, but said that if he could fix the issue today with what he was going to do, he would cover the costs. Are you serious? Well of course I said yes, what would I have to loose. While Eddie was working, it was like having a family member or close friend come over to help you out. We were a ble to carry on conversations, laugh all while still being very professional. Eddie was able to fix my issue while educating me. It was very nice not having to haul several 5 gallon buckets of poo water over and over again, watching the water quickly go down the drainage pipe was probably the best thing to happen all year. I highly recommend Eddie for clogged drains and pipes, he definitely knows his stuff. He is extremely honest and up front, he is also very fast but doesn't cut corners, he definitely takes pride in his trade. That in of itself is huge now a days. Do yourself a favor and give Rotor Rooter a call and if able ask for Eddie!!!!! I will definitely ask for him with any and all my backed up plumbing issues.

I got home from work and discovered I had no water due to a frozen pipe. I called Roto Rooter, and the technician was out within one hour after I called. My technician was Vala- he was awesome. The first guy who came out was not helpful and we actually asked him to leave. He was insisting on dismounting every toilet in the house, despite the fact that we knew from previous experience which toilet needed to be removed (and even had written instructions to this effect from the previous roto-rooter guy).We have had good experience with this group in the past, so we asked a different tech to come the next day. He was great, did a good job, cleaned up after himself - great service as we have come to expect from RR.

After an extremely negative experience with another company, I contacted my homeowner's insurance to discuss a leak issue. I mentioned I was having problems with professionalism and competency from the other group, and she recommended Roto Rooter. I called them in the beginning of December, and they resolved the problem I had been having since August n three weeks, even though it was the holidays. I have several people out here from Roto Rooter, and every single them, from Mark to Andrew, have been awesome, extremely good at what they do and nice guys to boot. I called Roto Rooter on Sunday afternoon 01/31/16 with a plugged drain.They came out within two hours of my calling them and solved my problem within a timely manner. The service man was very kind and knowledgeable,he explained what he was going to do before hand. I'm very happy with this company and would call them again if needed without hesitation.

The kitchen sink was totally plugged up and wouldn't drain. Of course, this happened on Labor Day. My call was answered promptly and the service technician arrived within an hour of my call. He took the time to examine the situation and provided a detailed explanation of what he was going to do. I worked with Chana all day today and he fixed everything he could and what he wasn't able to fix today we were able to set up another appointment for and get an estimate.

We were having issues with our dishwasher backing up into our kitchen sink and our laundry not draining. The plumber came out and cleared the outside lines but as soon as he left and I attempted to run the laundry it was doing the same thing.Tony and Miguel were still outside my house when I checked to see if the plumber was here. They had only came by to verify if I had any water damages that needed restored. I informed them of what was happening and they promptly made phone calls and helped me. My wife and I just bought our home in September and with any old hone there are going to be issues, and plumbing is no different. I called at 10:30 am and asked if someone could be here before 10:00 a.m. tomorrow and they said that someone could be here within the hour. I made an appointment on a Thursday evening for a window from 6-8. I even left work an hour early to make sure I got home in time. At 6:30 I received a call telling me that they needed to move my appointment to the next morning between 8-10, because the technician scheduled to come to my house had left for the day. Now I know some times things come up, but let me say this is the 3rd time this sort of thing has happened with this company. I expressed how unhappy I was since I left work early and that moving the appointment to the next day would require me to miss even more work. I said I wanted to speak to a manager, since this was the and was told someone would call in the next 2 hours. That call never came. The next morning the dispatcher called around 7:30 and said someone would be at my house in 45 minutes. Again I asked for a manager to call and was told someone would call in the next 2 hours. I did get a call about 3 hours later, but I was talking with the technician, so I missed the call. I called back immediately and was told the manager was no longer available and that they would call me back within 2 hours. That call never came. If you don’t mind having to reschedule EVERY TIME you make an appointment and not getting a response from a manager when you have an issue, then go ahead and use this company. Otherwise you’re better off calling someone else.

We had water issues at our house and had to have Roto Rooter come out and take care of it. Javier Osorio and Stanley Scott were our techs today and they did an awesome job! They answered all my questions and took the time to explain everything to me. I would highly recommend them!

Originally, I had called someone else. Someone Else had come out and told me they would need to rip out my entire shower faucet system and replace it. They quoted me over $1,000 and then tried to get me to sign an annual service agreement. So, I called Roto-Rooter. My tech was on time and professional. He took a quick look at my faucet system, said he had something in his van, and in 20 minutes my shower was fixed for less than half what the other service wanted to charge. My tech was honest and up front, and that was so refreshing. Thank you!

They were able to come out and repair some leaks and install/fix faucets the very next day. Lal (the plumber I had) took his time, worked hard, and made sure that all the repairs were done correctly before leaving. Having had work done by a plumber before, I would say their prices were similar to the competition. Overall, I would rate them high and higher them (Especially Lal!) again if I need more work.

I'm editing my review based on follow up experiences with Roto-Rooter. Their service and process for replacing my water heater was unprofessional, dangerous, and misinformed. Their recommendations were not only dangerously incorrect, but also resulted in my undertaking nearly $1,000 in additional work that was proven to be extraneous by another company. I have taken my complaints to Roto-Rooter both locally and HQ, with no results. I'd highly recommend Williams Heating and Air for your pluming and HVAC needs in Indianapolis. Roto-Rooter is simply unsafe and not up to par with product knowledge. I will also add that their plumbers do not test for carbon monoxide when working with your gas-connected appliances, such as water heater. They do not carry CO testers and cannot confirm whether new appliances are safely connected, which is dangerous considering the risk they take when working with natural gas, both professionally and for the home they are working in.

Today we had Mr. Eddie Garcia service my daughters house. She recently purchased a new home and wanted the sewer lines looked at for potential problems. Mr. Garcia was prompt and was very helpful in determining which service was most appropriate and cost effective. He took the time to discuss the possible procedures in layman’s terms. After finding the clean-outs, Mr. Garcia Suggested we run a camera for inspection first. After doing so, it was determined no further service was needed saving us substantial money. Mr. Garcia is an outstanding representative of Rotor Rooter in Indianapolis. This business is fortunate to have Eddie work for them.

The service I received from Roto-Rooter was great. Everardo explained to me every step of the way what was being done. He also was helpful is informing me of ways I could save money on any other possible repairs! How many servicemen do that! All in all I was very pleased with the service received.

I enjoyed the tech Muane hey had a great personality and arrived in a timely manner. I like that he gave me three options to fix my issue. He word hard and was nice the entire time. Our first option didn't work out as there was a bigger issue when he got into the problem. I don't like the pricing at all but wasn't in a place to call around. I don't blame the tech. I do believe the pricing is a bit high but the service tech had great customer service.

Overall I can’t complain about the service. Very professional and straight forward with what needed to be done. The tech found the leaking pipe fast and fixed the issue in a timely manner. I needed my main water shut off repaired on a Saturday night 12-21-19 at 730pm and they made it happen. My service tech which I can’t recall his name was friendly and awesome, did a great job! Give him a big Christmas bonus!!

I had Van as a tech and he was AMAZING! If you call ask for him! Our kitchen sink was clogged and he was timely, efficient, and friendly. Very professional! It was $319 but I had a $100 off any service coupon and ended up being $219 plus tax for the total service.

We had a sudden water heater leak. Called To Rooter on a Friday afternoon, Alex came out the same day. He diagnosed the problem, ordered a new water heater and installed it for us the next day. He was kind and courteous throughout and we are back in business with hot water in less than 24 hours. Thank you Alex!

The actual guy who did the work was fine (ZO), as was Noah who was summoned to do clean up work by mistake because someone from your company lied about the insurance coverage. The salesman for water damage was too high pressured and did not tell the truth. The salesman for excavation wasn't exactly dishonest, but he also was too high pressured. Single elderly women are not dumb. We like to investigate and process information like all other intelligent people. It was overkill and this approach did not bode well with me.

I want to take the time to let your company know how appreciative I was for the field supervisor, Ron W. and his apprentice, coming out to respond to my request for an issue I was having with a sewer smell. I had my system replaced in December 2017 and it’s now September 2018 and he came out and did a test that showed what the problem was and determined that it was due to something that wasn’t done right the first time. He was very informative and prompt with keeping me in the loop on his ETA and acknowledged work that was not done correct the first time around and honored it! I was truly impressed with the service that i received, from the time that i made the call, until the time that Jim left. I was in need of someone to come out A.S.A.P for a clog. I started making phone calls, yet no one else was willing or able to come out that same day. They arrived at my door within an hour of making the phone call! What should have been a 20 to 30 minute job took 6 hours and was charged 565.06 tech had to keep taking apart and putting back together. Mind you I bought the water from lowes and put it in place myself and hooked up the gas line and the temp relief valve and the exhaust myself all I needed was for him to hook up the water lines that's it.

Way overpriced! Charged 200$ for a 50$ faucet. Had to have someone come back the next day because there was a leak at shut off valve which wasn’t leaking before they replaced the he faucet. Wanted to charge me another 400$ which I refused to pay. Later after doing dishes when I emptied the sink the trap was leaking and water went everywhere. The trap was taken off by roto router so the guy could get under the sink. Won’t use this company again! Total charged for this service was 600$!!

We had to have our main drain unclogged on a weekend. They showed up within the time frame stated. Our technician, Jeff, was great. He explained what was going on. Worked through the problem. Cleaned-up after he was done. The restoration crew (Tim & Scott) were also fantastic. They came in, removed the portions which needed to be removed due to sewage damage. All worked quickly and professionally.

Kyle was very thorough in explaining the problem with our sink and even checked the others in our house to make sure we weren't having the same problem somewhere else (we were!). He was very polite and very thorough. We use Rotorooter every time because of the prompt, same day service.

With 20-25 people coming to my house in two and a half hours, I was on the phone, on a Saturday, desperate to find a plumber. The lady on the phone told me there would be no extra charge for weekend appointments. A technician (Drew) called a few minutes later to say he was on his way. I thought the first price he quoted me was too high for a single drain, but he was able to do the job for a lower price, so I told him to do the work. Drew was very professional and did the job quickly and with no mess at all. I appreciate the fact that he put down a tarp to avoid any mess from the drain cleaning. I have had to clean up messes left by others. He was pulling out of the driveway just as my first guests arrived. As I said, it was a little pricey, but desperate times call for desperate measures and plumbing companies know that. Still, I was very satisfied with a job well done.

Greatest service we could have asked for! We shopped around and were exceptionally pleased to find out that they could come out for a free estimate! It was a very busy weekend, and someone was able to come out the same day we called. The root-rooter representative took the time to illustrate pictures, explain the meter reading, and thoroughly give us an understanding of the cause of the problem. It was exactly what we needed in such a stressful situation. And then, someone was able to come out on a Sunday! We couldn't have been more satisfied with their work.

The technician that finally showed up did his job well. My concern is with the rest of the company. Someone came out Sunday night to do the initial estimate. Told us he would call us in the morning to let us know when he could come back out. I took a day off work last minute so this could get done.We received no call by 10am, so I called in and was told by their dispatch that they would contact him and someone would call me back in 30 minutes. Hour later, no call back. So I called in, again and they seemed confused why nobody had called me, so they said they would contact him again, please wait 30 minutes. Hour later....no call back. This happened 3 times, when we finally convinced someone to get a manager. They told us someone would be out that night to fix the problem, and they would call us within an hour to give us a better time frame.Well, 2 hours later no call. So we started calling other companies. Finally, at 5pm. The night shift dispatcher said he was taking over and setting everything up. He also found out that at 8am the original tech/plumber said he wasn't going to make it, but dispatch never relayed that to us. New tech was being dispatched.I informed dispatch that our address was weird and it would take him the wrong direction, so to either give him our number or give us his, so I could send the Google coordinates. He said ok. I also asked if they could double check that the original techs notes were carried over and the new guy knew everything he needed and what the scope of the job was. I was told yes.Well, 3 hours later when the tech finally arrived after contacting me to tell me my address took you an hour the wrong direction...he found out he didn't have any of the parts we needed or any experience with our particular problem. He did fix the initial leak, but I stayed home without pay so we could get the entire problem solved, NOT so someone could come fix a leak at 10pm. If I would have known that's how late it would of been, I could of went to work.Now, we still have to schedule someone to come and do the rest of the work, making a second payment instead of having it all lumped together as one. Not to mention trying to figure out when we can time it, or the fact that without the other repairs being done we risk more leaks happening.I would not recommend this company to anyone that I even remotely care about.

Very prompt, polite, and professional. Made it to our house in 30 minutes and finished with the entire service in less than 2 hours. It was raining outside for the better part of the morning and the technician immediately put booties on over his shoes before entering our home, which I greatly appreciated since we have a little one running around. **update again** not three weeks after this debacle, the same issue occurred again and we had to call another company to excavate the front yard for over 3,400 dollars.**UPDATE** After working with Eddie, our fourth and final plumber, and speaking with supervisor Jason, I can say that managers and Eddie went above and beyond to ensure all this was resolved. I am more than satisfied with the result and would trust Roto Rooter again to do future service at our home.Three visits, three days, and a dozen calls later I cannot use water and Roto Rooter won't honor their quote to fix the issue. The first guy looked for only thirty seconds, our appointment accidentally didn't get confirmed so the second guy didn't show up until past midnight and then said he couldn't fix the issue because we'd used drain cleaner at 3 pm. He promised somebody at our house the next day at exactly 3 pm and he wrote an invoice for us and provided us with the carbon copy. The next day our third tech is an hour late and refuses to do the work stated on the order for the price promised. He then leaves.I can't get any supervisors to call me back or anybody to talk to me about this.

Technician R. Woodson, #6015 serviced our home for cleaning drain piping in kitchen sink. I found him courteous, professional and clean service. He arrived on time on Saturday morning completed service in reasonable manner as well as clean the area after the service. One thing I had to do is to negotiate the pricing down to an industry standard price and he adjusted the original quoted price accordingly. I would recommend this company to others for their plumbing needs.

Kima was the technician that resolved our problem. We had a clog in our house plumbing and he took his time assessing the situation. Once he understood what had to be done he fixed our issue quickly. Very professional and knowledgeable!

Van (#3301) was the tech that came to take care of our drain problem. He arrived within 2 hours of my call, and had the problem fixed within an hour. He was courteous and thorough, and took time to investigate everything so he was convinced he had fixed the problem. I would call Roto-Rooter again.

I asked for service on a Saturday but the dispatcher called frequently during the entire day saying they were running late. Ultimately rescheduled for Sunday morning. Technician showed up at about 10 am. without calling to say he was on his way to fix the leaking kitchen faucet. He said he had to go get a part and didn't return for over an hour. I'm unsure why Home Depot (1 mile from my house) did not have the washers he needed. He said he had to drive to another city!This has happened to me in the past. The technician looks at the problem, never carries common replacement parts and must leave to go get them. I'll probably use them in the future as I have in the past. The technicians have always been pleasant and seem to know how to fix things. Just know that it will be an all day or weekend appointment. As was my experience.

Phil Stillinger showed up at our front door right on time very early in the morning and unclogged our kitchen drain in less than an hour. The service was professional and efficient. Very much recommended to everyone who needs the service.

We had a clogged drain on Saturday, March 31, 2018. We called Roto-Rooter to come out and clear the drain. The clog was in the main drain and was accessible form the outside of the house. It took a while for them to get there. We called at 7:00 p.m. and the plumber didn't arrive until 9:30 p.m., but I can understand that, being a Saturday night and the day before Easter. The plumber, Andrew C. arrived and was very efficient. It took him about 30 minutes to clear the drain and it has been fine since. I liked the fact that they not charge a fee just to come to my house. Andrew was very polite, explained the fees very carefully and there was no pressure to add anything else to the list of things that had to be done. I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter to other people. As I said earlier, the only thing I can say of a negative nature was that it took them 2 1/2 hours to get there. I must say though that the office did call me twice to inform me of the delays. It showed that they hadn't forgotten about us and they were doing the best they could to get someone out there.

Lal was quick and efficient. We tried to take care of the clog ourselves and couldn’t get it. Lal was here within an hour and within five minutes the clog was clear. Thank you!

Vanlal arrived as scheduled and assessed the situation concerning my drain problem. He was totally professional and up front with pricing information prior to the work being preformed. Due to tree root issues, my drain problem was not totally resolved. However, Vanlil was honest with his advice concerning what needed to be done to fix the issue and scheduled another appointment to further investigate the problem (camera investigation of the drainage cleanout to check for tree root damage). So far, I am extremely pleased with the service provided!

Jeff arrived quickly, and he told me the price to open my main sewer line. He let me know I could save money if I removed the toilet from the floor myself. Jeff then went to work and within a half hour or so we were back in business. I have used Roto-Rooter for years and suggest you do the same. They are quick plumbing problem solvers.

The drain line from my kitchen was completely backed up. After I exhausted my own skills trying to fix it I decided to call Roto Rooter, I used them last year for a septic line blockage and they were the only company who actually wanted to fix the problem back then, and they did a fantastic job. Nice coincidence that the same plumber, Dave, from last year was at the door today. Dave is a super nice guy, very personable. Made sure he wore the foot covers when stepping inside the house.I explained to him the problem and what I tried so far to fix on my own. He took a quick survey of my basement pipe runs. We agreed the best course of action was to snake the line from the external clean out I have on the back of the house. He gave me the standard price for clearing out the line before I signed off on any work to be done. He wasted no time and cleared the line in just a few minutes, and then knocked a $100 off the bill since it was such and easy job. He also gave me some tips to help keep that line clean. I'll make sure to remember to ask for Dave next time I need to call roto rooter.

I had a serious clogged drain worked with it for 2-3 days. Young man Van came and was very passionate and straight with me, I did not understand everything and I asked him several times to repeat the process to me. He took his time and kept repeating to me to help me understand and assure me he would do his best to solve the problems. He did and help explain how to take care of the drains hopefully not to have more problems. I was very upset about the money I am retired so he gave me this sweepstake entry. Courteous, friendly, and attentive . Tech (Vala) arrived on time and it was a late-night call. He was amazing, he explained everything and gave me the estimate prior to starting the work. As he was finishing up he got my attention to show me the work and noticed some additional clogging where he was doing the work and gave recommendations (not forcefully, but knowledgeably) to do some additional snaking. It was worth the extra money for as awesome of a job he did. He was also tolerant of my nosy pups.

Grossly overpriced. $415 to unclog a laundry drain. Technician was reluctant or refused to accommodate any additional requests like removing a wet rug under the washer or zip tying the drain hose to the line in hoses. Got the job done but the price left a bad taste in my mouth for the whole experience.

Our service technician was Muana, #2619. He was courteous and very polite. He assessed the repairs needed, estimated the cost of labor and materials, asked for permission to do the work, effectively completed the plumbing repair, and cleaned up the job site when he was done. We are completely satisfied with his performance, and very pleased with Roto-Rooter's quick response to our request for an emergency repair of our plumbing system.

After spending over $1,000 with other companies Michael from Roto-Rooter came through and ensured that the job was done correctly. I had been calling companies for a water heater leak since the Friday before memorial day. I wish I would have just called you guys first because you came out same day within 2hrs of me calling. Vala spoke with my warranty company to make sure repairs would be covered and didn't complete work until they did. Afterwards he had it fully repaired in 30mins. He then had called out the restoration team who showed up as he was leaving to take photos of the water damage . Miguel help us step by step with filing a claim for water damage. Finally, 2 hours after all of this was done they had come out and completed treating water damage. Also I forgot to mention there was no Holiday charge for coming out ON memorial day nor was there a diagnosis fee. AMAZING

Had Technician Eddie Garcia out to our home to review an issue with our drain backing up. After snaking our drain, and using the camera, he took time to explain that tree roots were getting into the pipe. Wonderful experience! We had a pipe break Thursday afternoon and they were out there that night (about 2 hours from when I initially called). On Saturday, December 29th, we had a clog in the drain in our kitchen sink, as well as a leaky shut off valve that was leaking down the pipe onto our brand new ceiling tiles in our basement. We actually contacted two other well known plumbers first as one company typically serviced our house and the other we remembered from advertisements. Both companies marketed themselves as a 24/7, 365 day a year business yet neither could provide us with the emergency plumbing services that they claimed to provide. Even after asking specifically for an emergency plumber, neither could accommodate us within 24 hours, which was the service that we needed. It was the best decision that we made all day!On the initial phone call, instead of being told that emergency plumbing services could not be provided, we were assured that there was a plumber in our area that would be contacting us within the next hour. Within minutes of that initial phone call, the field manager contacted us and also assured us that we would be taken care of today. We immediately knew that we had made the correct decision to contact Roto-Rooter, but in case if we had any doubt, Kyle was sure to put us at ease!Kyle arrived within the promised period of time and immediately put on plastic booties to enter the home. He assessed the situation quickly and provided us with a clear explanation of the issue, as well as a quote, before completing any services. Once we agreed to have him complete the services, he worked professionally and efficiently, fixing all issues thoroughly in about an hour's time. He was very friendly and engaged in casual chit chat about the Notre Dame game that was going on at the time. Roto-Rooter is always quick to arrive on-scene and after 3 calls I have always had the problem addressed to my satisfaction.My first negative experience occurred during my third call. One of their plumbers was 1.5 hours later than the latest time I was told to expect him, and once he arrived spent 30 minutes talking to me about why he was one of the elite plumbers, how he would soon get new business cards that better showcased his certifications, describing where the new RR building was going to be, etc. I was already running late to an appointment and did not appreciate his sense of efficiency. That being said, he did his work well (when he finally got to it) and was kind enough to discuss options with me to keep the price manageable.Bottom line: I will continue to call Roto-Rooter when I have plumbing issues.

Had a backup at laundry drain and kitchen sink. Both tied to main line out. Very fast response for a late Saturday afternoon. The technician had some problems finding a way to snake the main. He did get the drain cleared. The price was extremely high, but fast response and drain cleared.

Tech was 2 hours late, had to call office 3 times. Time window was 5:30 to 9:45 pm, he arrived at 11:30 pm. However, technician was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Diagnosed and repaired water line in 15 minutes. Cost was reasonable and competitive. Would definitely use this company again in the future

I came back from the holidays late one night to a frozen pipe. Andrew showed up quickly and couldn't fix it then because he needed a second plumber, but he cut and capped the pipe so I would have water elsewhere and then came back promptly, fixed it doing a neat job and making sure to go the extra length to reroute & insulate the pipe and also stuff insulation in the crawlspace where there was a draft. Great service!

The plumber arrived in a couple hours and cleared out my clog. He was very tidy and gave me some tips on how to prevent it from happening again. From the time of his arrival it took only 1 hour before he was out the door again. Great service!

Thief’s, they will try to steal your money at any cost. My issue was super easy and they want to break into the wall and charge me more. End up not going with their plan and they charged me 100$ for nothing, I fixed my problem alone and stopped the leak all that cost me 4$. Do not use them and stay away from them, that company is good for stealing not fixing

Khuma came to my house on a Sunday and was able to find and fix the problem promptly and efficiently. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the stopped up drain and how to fix the problem. He put a cover on the wheels of the machine he had to bring in my house to clear the stopped up drain. In addition he placed a tarp down to keep the mess off my floor. I couldn't afford the price that was quoted to me and the service tech was able to get the price down to get my problem fixed promptly. I would hire this guy again to fix any plumbing issues I had.

Had a toilet malfunction due to an overabundance of toilet tissue used. I tried my best with a plunger and a cheap, household drain snake to no avail. Roto-Rooter responded within an hour of me calling and were able to take care of the problem in less than 15 minutes without having to remove the toilet (the clog was in the stack). The two gentlemen who arrived were courteous, explained everything, assured I understood the price schedule and cleaned up after their selves. The price was a bit steep, but worth the effort of me having to figure it all out and it was explained clearly to me what the job might cost prior to me authorizing the work. Excellent, quick and professional service. I will request the same servicemen the next time I need plumbing and drain service!

The plumber was very short with me and seemed annoyed, I did speak to a customer service rep and she was apologetic for the way that he came across. I will say least she gave me $40 dollars back towards the repair.I wish I would have known that Roto Rooter used a flat rate scale versus an hourly scale, I feel ripped off after paying just under $500.00 for a 30 minute repair. When I asked the plumber how long the job would take he told me an hour to an hour and a half. I thought the rates seemed slightly high but fair if the quoted amount were to take an hour and a half.After my experience using Roto Rooter I will not ever use them again or even buy there products again for everyday common use, also to anyone who is looking for a plumber I highly recommend to anyone not to use this company.

I called Roto-Rooter at 7pm on a Sunday. I was given a 3 hour window but was called with a time within 30 minutes. The technician (Steve) showed up about 20 minutes later. He was kind, courteous and very knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose the problem and come up with a solution. I wanted to add a valve to my faucet and knew the plumbing supply stores were closed. So, Steve scheduled my service the next day so he could get all the necessary parts. He arrived the next day and was able to fix my faucet in a timely manner. He ensured that I had no leaks before leaving the job site. I would hire Roto-Rooter again in a heartbeat. They are not pushing and let you make the decision about the service. Thank you again. I am attempting to purchase a new home and during the inspection process I was advised to get a quote from a licensed plumber. I made an appointment on Tuesday for Friday to allow time for approval from the seller and access from my realtor. I received the email confirmation, called to confirm it was approved by sellers and called day of appointment to confirm. I waited at this house for my 3.5 hours before Roto-Rooter called to cancel the appointment. I was told it would take two technicians since the plumbing is in the crawl space and its an OSHA requirement and they did not have the man power. They went on to tell me they had a lighter crew that no one would be available for a free estimate when they had paying customers.

Phil Stillinger was my technician for my toilet emergency. I had a leaking toilet supply valve while attempting to replace the toilet fill valve unit that had busted open and flooded my bathroom floor. After I shut off my main water supply I called Roto Rooter as I trust them and placed a plumbing emergency call for service today. He arrived and was very personable and explained everything he was doing while replacing the toilet supply valve and went ahead and replaced the toilet fill valve all the while giving me a plumbing lesson and advice! Can't thank him enough for the great service. I have some other plumbing things to be done and will call again for his assistance.

Had washer water backing up into toilet. They came and quickly was able to clear the lines into the house. Very professional and friendly.

Called last night as we found a leak in our crawlspace and from a spigot. In a rush looking for emergency repair, they were going to send someone out, but called an hour later to say that their guy who handles crawl spaces couldn't come until the morning. Tried to call our normal company this morning, but no appointments available. Called Roto Rooter back to see if they could get it done. When they did arrive, I explained the problem and apparently that was good enough for them. Leak on 3/4 main above the shut off valve and I just wanted the spigot line capped for now. He flashed a light in the crawl opening, while standing on the patio, and said ok. Didn't even go down to look at anything. Quoted $1000 to repair. WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING. I questioned the price, he said crawl spaces are more expensive because of the tight fit, taking tools down there, and going in and out. Pinhole right above the shutoff valve. Spigot had a shutoff valve that he would have seen had he went down there. My Plumber called to see if we had gotten everything taken care of because a job finished early and they could make it yet this morning. 30 minutes later they were here, went down to look, 30-45 minutes later and at a much lower price, work was done.Would not recommend to anyone. The only positive was the free estimate.

I have been using Roto-Rooter for many years in numerous commercial buildings. Your technician David Paulson - #1697 has been a HUGE help to my company over the years. I’m able to reach him day or night and he always goes above and beyond.We recently received a call of sewage coming out of multiple floor drains in a huge warehouse facility. I called Dave and he was on site in less than 30 minutes and had the blockage cleared in less than an hour.It doesn’t matter what we throw at Dave, he always has a great attitude and a smile on his face. In my opinion you can’t find a better drain cleaner out there!

We had an emergency situation with our drain. They were there within 4 hours with a couple courtesy calls just to let us know they hadn't forgotten about us and would be at our home shortly. The tech was skilled and fixed our problem. They even sent out another tech to help see what the cost of clean up would be.

On time all 3 times I've had to use them. They have given me a 4-hour window and were in touch on the hour, and at my place within the 1st hour. They're expensive though, the ONLY reason for the 4-stars, $250 labor and a $15 part, but hey, I don't have a water leak now, so yay for that!! The techs are great, clean, quick, and thorough. My new pipe is GORGEOUS.

Terrible.When I called to talk to management to see what justifies that price I ended up at a national call center, not the Indianapolis location, and got the complete run around.Absolute nightmare experience - total scam artists. My wife called today to complain and was told it is not their problem, and no effort to justify their terrible pricing policy. Neurosurgeons make less an hour saving lives than Roto Rooter charges to unplug a pipe. I could literally have had a colonoscopy for less money.

Roto-Rooter charged $360 to snake my sink drain, to only receive a 75% improvenent (technician's description) in the drain.Pro: There's a 6 month warranty. Jeff took the time to answer my questions, explain a few things to me, and clean up the mess.Con: I probably could have done this myself for much, much less. I don't know if I will use Roto-Rooter again because of price.

Our plumber was supposed to arrive between 11am and 1pm. No show. Person later called said he would be there by 2:00. He arrived around 2:20. He arrived and we explained the problem to him. ( We had a broken water supply line that had flooded our home a week ago) He was an ESL( english secondary language) plumber. We took him upstairs and told him the supply line exploded. He turned on the faucet and said no water is coming out.....duh we turned off the water. He then went below the vanity and turned on the water supply, he was soaked and said the water supply was bad. He did this not once, not twice but three times. He then said he didn't have a supply line and would have to get one at a hardware store. We had to provide directions to the local hardware store This is like getting your oil changed and the attendant saying they don't have your filter. The line was less than 10 years old, you can't tell me it was not standard. Anyway for 15 minutes work we were charged $339 labor and they offered no warranty with their work. I have called 5 times times to 4 different roto rooter numbers in INDY and still have not returned a callStay away from Roto Rooter!!!!!!

Sump pump wasn’t working. Had 2 people come out to look but they couldn’t find the issue. Phil arrived and took care of it in a little over an hour. He was very professional and quick.

The serviceman was prompt and courteous. He made the $ sticker shock easier to take. I believed him when he said that they will honor their 6-month warranty. I have had other sewer companies say they would honor the warranty, but then hassle me about it later.My only complaint is the amount they charge. $309. is way too much. (Very little overhead - too many layers of management). I will not use them again because of it.

I live in a stand alone mobile home. My sewer line was backed up and I needed immediate service. After telling them several times I lived in a mobile home, the receptionist reassured me someone would be out. She called about an hour later saying someone was on their way. 10 minutes after that, I get another call from the receptionist stating they do not work on mobile homes and she will no longer be sending someone out. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, she immediately hung up the phone. Not impressed.

I've had the ideal experience with Roto-Rooter under less than ideal circumstances. Came home from vacation to my kitchen ceiling leaking water from our master bathroom... Roto-Rooter was there in less than an hour with exceptional care, professionalism, and know-how. Miguel (#0420) lead the water restoration efforts and was great to work with. Him and his team were all incredibly professional, efficient, and personable. If I ever run into a situation where my house requires these kinds of services again (God forbid), I know exactly who to call.

My husband worked to clear our clogged drain for two days without success. Although he wasn't successful this wasn't his first time dealing with this type of issue. We contacted Roto-Rooter because of the reviews we read online. Technician, Robert came out and was very professional and friendly. After he made the initial assessment and quoted us what the cost be, he had the clog cleared withing the hour. We hope to NOT have to call again for a clogged drain.:) In the event we do, we will definitely call Roto-Rooter and ask for Robert.

I called about a leak in my garbage disposal and they had a tech here in less than an hour. The tech was Muana #2619 and he was excellent. He did a great job of describing what repairs needed to be done and listened to my concerns. He made every effort to keep the cost as low as possible. His work was very through and quick. He also checked the other plumbing fixtures under the sink to make sure there were not any other problems. Also, he was very neat and cleaned up any mess he made. This may have been my best plumber experience ever. If I have any future problems I will call your company and ask for Muana to take care of me.

I had a crew building a fence in my backyard and in the process of digging, they drilled through my sump pump pipe. I called Roto-Rooter, and within no time, Eric arrived to save the day. He quoted the job right away and was finished with the repair within a couple of hours. The fence crew was able to get back on the job with very little delay. Thanks Eric!

The representative offered clear communication, practices appropriate social distancing measures, was polite and courteous while in our presence, and appeared to be knowledgeable about the problem. I’m not sure what else can be expected as a homeowner. Of course no one wants to have to pay the expense of these experiences, but we are grateful for the timely, professional response.

Noblesville, IN - The technician, Van, was very courteous, clean in his work, and efficient! He resolved the blockage in our main sewer line in less than an hour! Major kudos to Van!!!Scheduling/Dispatch however was a huge disappointment. I made the original contact on Saturday morning at 10am and received a window of Noon to 3pm for technician arrival...not only did no one arrive in the window given, they didn't arrive in the next, or the next, or the next, or the next....it was almost 24 hours later before technician arrived. I was given a 10% discount for the missed windows but would have gladly paid full price for on-time service!

I can safely say that we have never received service as positive and caring and effective as the service we received from Roto-Rooter. We had been using ANOTHER plumbing company to help with what we learned was a blocked sewer line. Multiple visits, each of which we paid for, and no sense of urgency as our sinks and toilets failed to drain. One night it rose to the level of an emergency and they didn't have anyone available.So we called Roto Rooter. Had never used them before. They were at the house in 30 minutes, and Carlos Rodriguez, technician 4757, worked as hard as I've ever seen anyone work. Hours until 11:00 at night. He was unable to get the clog. No surprise, but no fee! But then the doorbell rang the next morning and he was there with his supervisor Jarrett. They kept working and THEY DID WHAT THE OTHER COMPANIES COULDN'T . They got the clog! They kept us informed and most importantly CLEARLY cared about the impact on our family. I could not be happier with this service. World-Class in all respects.Our system will require more work, and the way that Jarrett and Carlos described it was FAR superior to the other companies. It was a smart, measured approach. They are trying to NOT take your money without knowing that it will work. Truly top-notch.I can guarantee our next plumbing call will be Roto-Rooter. No question.

Had an unsatisfactory experience with Mr.Plumber on Wednesday. Decided to go w/Roto-Rooter @ midnight on Friday when my lines backed up again in my crawlspace, creating raw sewage in my basement. My service tech (Kris) was at my house in less than a 1/2 hour. He cleared my line, looked at all aspects of my plumbing, told me pertinent info...all @ midnight in the cold rain! He was pleasant, knowledgeable & professional. I will continue to use Roto-Rooter & I will definitely need them since I have a 65yo home w/a lot of trees.

We were very impressed and very pleased with the work done by our Roto Rooter technician at our home on January 19, 2016. He analyzed the problem, put in the parts, and gave us a fair price for the repairs. This was the second time we have used Roto Rooter in the past year. We will definitely use them again for our plumbing needs.

Kyle made it so easy. He was very polite. Took time to explain everything, and answer all my questions. His work was thorough and professional. If I need anymore work done in the future, I'll be sure to ask for him.

I can't even describe how far above and beyond they went for me. Especially when they were the 4th company that I contacted about my plumbing issues. After I got a recommendation, they were on the phone with me in minutes and had someone out within an hour. Not only were they the only ones that fixed my issue: They were also the ones I ended up paying the least amount to during the process. Definitely calling them first next time, you should too!

If I could give 6 stars I would. Chris was absolutely incredible! He literally saved us!! We had a main line back up with actual sewage coming in to our finished basement. Another plumber came out and tried to sell us a $5000 clean out and said he was sure it was roots in the pipe. Chris listened to me and said he wanted to try to snake from the internal pipe first. He admitted it was a long shot and not to get my hopes up but he tried anyway. After about an hour of trying...success....he cleared the clog, saved me thousands, and saved the day. Thanks Char and Thanks Roto-Rooter. we will NEVER call anyone else!

Caveat emptor! Initial service call on Saturday morning was excellent. A tech was dispatched and on site within 40 minutes. It took him about 2 hours to use a power auger to cut roots out of the sewer lateral. The tech was polite and professional - About $350. The supervisor came by later in the afternoon with the camera to scope the pipe. I was not home, but he showed video to my wife where the roots had been cut out and then where there was still a problem in the old clay tile that needed to be replaced. He left us two quotes, one to replace approx 10 foot of tile with PVC for about $4,000 (just the damaged area) and one to replace 75 foot of tile for just slightly less than $10,000(all the way to the property line). $4k and $10k are not inconsequential sums of money, and the drain was flowing for the time being, so I looked up excavating contractors and solicited two additional quotes. Both of the quotes received were for replacing the 75' of tile and both were less than 1/3 of the Roto-Rooter quote. Both excavating firms were established companies with excellent ratings on Angie's list. Generally I am fine with a fair mark-up, but in this instance I believe Roto-Rooter went way too far. My advice - once the emergency is past, take time to do a price check.

Our technician was prompt & professional. Though he couldn’t fully diagnose our plumbing issue, he did as much as he could and put in an order for another type of technician to come do more to diagnose & treat the issue(s).

Roto-Rooter was quick and courteous from the original call to dispatch through the final installation with the plumber and the restoration specialist. Their prices seemed reasonable and we were very happy with our first experience with Roto-Rooter.

Our sump pump went bad and we placed on online request for service at 9:00 AM. Received a call one hour prior to tech's arrival. Technician was at the house by 1:00. He immediately introduced himself and explained step by step what he would do to troubleshoot the issue. He was very knowledgeable and took great pride in his work. He replaced the old sump pump and took his time to ensure that everything was operating correctly and demonstrated everything was operational when he was finished. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter for your plumbing needs.

The technician was courteous and quick to diagnose the problem with the toilet. He provided a couple of different repair options and completed the work relatively quickly. Only complaint is the technician used two of my shower mat towels to soak up water and wrap the base of the toilet. Not a huge deal, but I would expect the technician to at least ask first and more preferably provide their own when doing plumbing repairs involving toilets, sewage, etc.

Another cheap drain company got the cap to the clean-out and an auger blade stuck in my drain, then wouldn't call me back. Other companies were suggesting excavating the pipe to remove at a cost of $3-4K.Eddie Garcia from Roto-Rooter came out and really knew what he was doing. He said it was no problem and retrieved both pieces from the drain. He then cleared the tree roots that the other company had supposedly done and charged me for. He used the much larger clean-out in the garage that the other company wouldn't touch because they were scared of the old-school steel cap on it.He did a super professional and thorough job including running a camera 100 ft out to the street sewer to show me that the line was clear. Plus he didn't get a spot of dirt on the carpet or garage. This is the only company I'll be calling about drain issues in the future.

Came to my house to unclog a main drain line. Asked about a clean out, didn't bother to look. Told me they needed to remove the toilet to access the line and that it would be $520 (What???). Took my toilet off, scratched my bathroom door, and their monstrous antique machine wasn't able to make it through my pipes apparently. So they charged me $190 to put my toilet back in place that they had just removed, then contacted their supervisor. He came out to tell me I needed a cleanout installed and that it would be $3500, and pressured me to act immediately. This is robbery. When I told him I wanted to call around first, he assured me I NEEDED his service and that NOBODY could do it cheaper or faster. Minutes after he left, I called my dad. It took 2 minutes to find the cleanout, and about 10 minutes with a 25ft sewer snake to fix the problem. These people prey on customers under duress. Do not give them your business. If I had any sense I wouldn't have paid them the $190.EDIT- Shortly after sharing my experience, I was contacted by the manager, who was very apologetic and wanted to make the experience right. Took the steps necessary to do so. I appreciate them reaching out to me to make a bad situation better.

Chris (#3587 or #3687) was my tech today and he was quick and efficient. I don't mind paying a little extra to get the professionalism that he displayed. He was right on time, and he actually came out in under an hour. The 6th month warranty was also a bonus, thanks Chris!

We had a blocked kitchen sink that required service asap. We called rotor rooter and a service technician arrived about 3.5 hrs later, which was fine. The technician Puia Cherput was very pleasant, neat and got the sink unplugged within 30 minutes. Although the price is high, a coupon and the emergency service request made the cost a little more paletable.

Our sump pump had been running non-stop for a while and we decided to contact Rooter-Rooter to have them take a look and possibly replace it. The sump pump is original to the house and has seen a lot of work over those years. On 11/11/2016, a technician named Vala come to our rescue! He was very professional and showed up what the issue was with the sump pump. He provided options to me and didn't over sell me. He was courteous and cleaned up the area when he completed the work. Thank you again for saving us from a potential disaster in our basement!

Jeff (Miracle Worker, I call him!) came this evening and cleared up a serious problem in the basement of my 100 year old home. He worked steadily and didn't quit until the job was finished. I really don't like writing bad reviews but I had the worst $500 experience with their plumbing technician. My plumbing was backed up, so they came out and gave me an estimate and we agreed. They never told us they were finished until after they put the toilet back and cleaned everything up. The water was finally going down but all the sinks and drains were gurgling. The plumber said that he couldn't go any further and that was the best he could do unless I spent Another $3500. So they left and my drains are still gurgling. A couple days later all my lines are backed up again. So I called Roto Rooter back out. They told me that their work was not guaranteed and they couldn't do anything unless I paid the $3500. I said no after he started getting loud with me and my spouse over him not guaranteeing his work and told us good luck and left! . I called another plumbing company and they cleared my line with in an hour and it only cost me $240. I'll never go to Roto Rooter again! I went to John Fowler's Plumbing BTW.

I called and scheduled service, they gave me a 2 hour window saying that someone would be out to provide me with service, and that they would call me 30 minutes prior to the technician arriving, so I said ok, and waited.After waiting over 2 hours, I called back and asked what was going on, no one could explain to me what was going on, and why haven't a serviceman came nor contacted me, and didn't offer anything in return for the miscommunication or commitment to provide me services.

Doing a Reno and the place stunk after removing drywall from kitchen only to find sewer line gas leaking in home, replaced pipe with pvc and it’s a sealed system again. Great job!

Our technicians were friendly, but misleading as far as what they could do. We had some issues with the drain tile around our basement. The first guy that came out said he could run an auger and asked if we wanted the camera and restoration guys to come out. We had previously ran an auger, but wanted the camera guy because we were told he can run it down and see whatever you want to look at. We were hoping to run a camera down and see if there was a break or clog and locate it before digging (if needed). The camera was not the technology we had hoped. It was hand-fed and couldn't be navigated around a bend. We weren't told of the limitations before we agreed to pay the extra $100 on top of the $700 we paid for the whole house auger service that we really didn't need - but had to get to receive the Camera service. Camera guy seemed to be trying to drum up business for their excavation service, and again couldn't do much with the camera. Restoration guy came out and looked at the basement. He was friendly - but again trying to drum up more business than what we needed.

Had a failed ejector pump spewing sewage out, and they showed up and fixed it in a few hours. The service was excellent. The only reason I don't have five stars is because I was unable to get the water restoration team from Roto-Rooter to give me an actual physical copy of the quote to remediate the water and mold damage, despite repeated attempts.For the actual plumbing service? It was great. Little pricey, but worth it. My prior two plumbers didn't even notice the problem.

Chawng was AMAZING! He was on time, professional, and educated me on the issue as well as further issues I may encounter in the future. He even cleaned up the mess my issue was causing! Chawng was nice, understanding, and extremely helpful. He always made sure I was okay with what needed to be done and helped me understand WHY he had to do certain things. The discounts he found me were outrageous! At the end of it all, Chawng saved me over $200! I can’t rave enough about my experience! It didn’t take all day and I was able to work while the issue was being resolved. 100 stars!

Our service technician was very polite and knowledgeable. We had a very tough drain to unclog, and he did not give up. He not only fixed it, but told us the most cost-effective way to prevent it from getting clogged in the future.

I called Roto-Rooter for an emergency that my apartment wouldn't have looked at until Monday. The plumber (Robert) came 40 minutes later, was friendly and courteous, and solved our problem in 30 minutes, and suggested the best way for our apartment to cover it. It was a little expensive, but worth it to have the problem solved sooner. Overall, would recommend.

Well he was friendly and on time, but he left the bathroom a mess, didn’t put the door back on the crawl space, and I had to call about 20mins after he left. They had to send another plumber out because he didn’t bolt down my toilet. Water started seeping from under it. He didn’t even put a new wax ring on. I don’t know if he just forgot, but I was not pleased. The issued wasn’t even resolved. Apparently Roto-Rooter doesn’t work on septics. If I knew that I wouldn’t have even called them. Now I’m out $570 for a very expensive snake job.

Dave was very friendly and a good resource. He offered good knowledge and was very positive. He kept me informed of the situation and worked hard to complete the job in a timely manner. Definitely will request him for the next job.

My wife met them at our rental house to unclog a drain, which they did fine but tried selling her on new flooring repair and said we need a new $1500 water heater when the old one looks like new and works fine. The main guy acts more like a salesman than drain cleaner.

Be specific with the kind of parts you want them to use if you are getting a drain plug replaced, for example. Any replacement parts, really.The good: Called for estimate. They sent someone out same day. Estimate was consistent with other estimates for repair of 2 bathtub drains. They fixed it that same evening.The not so good: My only issue is the drain plug and assembly is *significantly* lesser quality than what was originally installed, but I did not specify which parts to purchase.I did, however, provide the plug we used in both baths. I should not have assumed they would replace it with the same parts, so lesson learned on my part. It is repaired. Same day, in a couple hours.The cheaper parts is why they do not get 5 stars. Because I will remodel these bathrooms in a few years, this will not be a huge issue for now.Ask questions.

I live in a 120 year old house with not your standard sewer and drain lines. Muana was the tech send out and he persistently worked on the clog of roots and debris and finally cleared the line. He did not give up! Best experience, very considerate, vacuumed up all standing water and cleaned! Highly recommended!

I had received an estimate from another plumbing company to repair my outside turn off for over $3200. Fela was not only able to repair the faucet for a fraction of the cost but gave me an estimate thousands of dollars cheaper to do the more extensive repairs in the future. The technician did a great job of getting my sink unclogged in a clean and timely manner, however my bank account was debited 40 dollars more than the written receipt showed i was gonna be charged. Still waiting for an answer as to why this happened. Would have been 5 star, but charging a different amount than what my written invoice receipt shows is a big no no.

I called inquiring about having my kitchen sink drain line snaked because over the past few months water has begun draining slower than desired. The person on the phone was unable to give me a typical cost to snake a drain, which seemed odd becasue the other companies I contacted gave me a over the phone estimate after asking just a few questions. Roto-Rooter had a repair man to my house within a hour to do an estimate which was fantastic.I have the repair person come in and after about 5 minutes of looking at the plumbing under the sink he calls me over and provides an estimate of $345. I say ok you can leave then your price is way to high to which he asks when can he start (the repair man barely spoke English). I explain I have another plumber who will be doing the work for $150. After arguing price he agrees to drop the price to $179 (I have an online $100 off coupon from Roto-Rooter) so I agree.After 45 minutes my drain in snaked, however he tells me he broke a seal on the sink drain basin. I ask how long it will take for him to fix to which he replies you can fix since you're a plumber (I am not a plumber I am a pharmacist). I explain if you take your car to a mechanic to fix the tire and they break the engine you would expect them to fix the engine, well same here. You broke my sink now you fix it. He starts to tear the plumbing back apart and attempts to take off the sink basin fastener, which he is unable to do alone. At this point I am now actively helping the repair man and loaning him my tools to use while my girlfriend on the line with a Roto-Rooter customer service rep explaining what is going on. The customer service rep explains that a higher up representative from the corporate office will be calling ASAP. Meanwhile its been determined that since the repair man cannot get the fastener off he is going to cut it and then I will have to buy a replacement. I disagree and after 15 minutes of arguing he finally agrees that since he is the repair man and he is unable to remove the fastener that he will pay for the replacement part. He cuts off the fastener (using my cutting tool), drives off to Lowes for a replacement part, and within 10 minutes has the repair done.Its now time to pay...I hand him $100 and present the $100 coupon (his tip for being at my house extra time was the left over $21). He turns to me and says he cannot take cash, and asks if I have checks or a credit card. Well given its the end of the month I don't have excess finds in my bank account (I only have debit, not credit) and as a result a check would bounce. After arguing he finally agrees to take cash. This is now when he realizes I gave me $100 cash and a $100 online Roto-Rooter coupon. He starts arguing that I needed to present the coupon before service started or he wouldn't have decreased the price to $179. I explain the coupon does not say I have to present the coupon before negotiating price and can be given at time of payment. We call Roto-Rooter and they have to explain that he has to accept the $100 coupon since the price was a negotiated fair price based on the cost of another plumbers service. The service repair man did not write it down on the invoice that the negotiated price was a discount, which would have voided the coupon (coupon could not be used with a discounted price or promotional sales price). He had been visibly mad this entire service call, but is now furious. However, he does accept the money, refuses the tip, and storms out of my house. The drain does adequately work now.About 30 min after he leaves a Roto-Rooter representative contacts me. I explain exactly what I just wrote above. The representative says well $345 is the standard price for drain snaking. He then explains not all repair men are plumbers and the person doing my drain snaking was just a technician. He actively starts arguing with me, and is very defensive.Needless to say I will not be using Roto-Rooter and will actively be trying to convince my friends and family not to use their repair services.

The team from Roto Rooter arrived quickly to fix a damaged water supply line that was gushing water all over our kitchen floor and into our basement ceiling. They had the supply line fixed and the clean-up team had everything in-place within a couple of hours. Great job, guys!

They sent a service tech, Kima, within an hour! Hewas both knowledgeable and efficient. He arrived on time, got the drain unclogged, and gave me some preventative advice for the future. Couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience.

Tech came out and told me I had to replace the ejector pump for 1500 dollars. Had second quote by a mom and pop place - put in a new check valve and it worked fine for $200.00. Do your due diligence and get multiple quotes and don't let this large company lie to you. Never again, will I call them, that was enough to turn me away for life.

I had called Roto Rooter out for help with a gas line that ended up being much more complicated than I originally explained to them. Anyway, while the technician, Kyle, was out here he smelled a gas leak that I had no idea I had (our furnace and water heater are behind closed closet doors). He quickly found and fixed our leaks right then and there. I’m so greatful that he came out! Thank you Kyle!

My experience: very pricey.The good: technician came out within reasonable amount of time, got the job done (auger through toilet).The bad: found out later their quoted price for the service was more than TWICE the amount I could have gotten from at least three other services in the area (fortunately I had a coupon to knock that down a little). Called the office to explain and to ask for possible price adjustment but was denied.

Jeff explained upfront what he needed to do, and what the cost would be. Then he proceeded to clean out a clog in the kitchen sink and washing machine drain that was a locates a long distance down the drain pipe. Very happy with the expertise, and professionalism exhibited by Jeff.

We had Damon come out to our house to help figure out why there was flooding in our basement. He not only helped get the water gone but gave us some good knowledge of the inner workings of our plumbing system.

Our technician, Chawng Vunga, called to let us know his arrival time. He came on time, assessed the situation, and gave us a quote. Once approved, he quickly and efficiently began the work needed to unclog our stopped up kitchen sink and garbage disposal. He completed the job in a reasonable amount of time and gave us a quick lesson on how to prevent this from happening in the future. We are completely satisfied with the quality of the work and the skill and professionalism of our technician.

Bill did an excellent job explaining everything and thoroughly cleaned out our line. Our house is a bit of a challenge being that it was built in 1896. He had to evaluate multiple ways of trying to access the line. He was very professional.

They were great on getting rid of the root growing in the main sewage line out. However, they pulled toilet to do so and were unable to properly put my toilet back and told me it would be $700+ to put my toilet back properly. Said I shouldn't sit the toilet and made me sign something saying they weren't responsible for leaks for this toilet. I don't feel they competed the job that already cost $527. UnhappyManager called me back and said they would fix the part for $450.It would be nice if they had told me going into this that they might not be able to reinstall my toilet properly.Buyer beware and good luck because whatever they quote might double before they finish!

Plumber, Vala was very professional. He worked very well and was very patient while waiting for the water damage team to remove flooring before he could install new water heater. He also pitched in and helped with other issues that needed to be addressed.

Called for a busted pipe in the garage that flooded the laundry room and two bedrooms.Our tech arrived early, hours early, which was such a pleasant surprise especially with the roads being bad. The problem was resolved quickly, the tech was very pleasant and informative not wasting any time.

In terms of timing and responsiveness, I would give them 5 stars. We had an ejector pump go out in our basement over the Labor Day weekend, which caused raw sewage to flow into the finished area. They were out and had the pump replaced, the carpet and drywall removed, etc. by the end of the day. Tremendous service. The price for the new pump and the labor to install it was a bit steep, but its certainly a job I didn't want to do. There was no premium for coming out on a Sunday on a Labor Day weekend which I really appreciated.

Ended yesterday with the utility room floor drain backing up -- what a mess.Called Roto-Rooter first thing this morning, and they had their service tech at our home in less than an hour. 40 minutes later the problem was solved, the tech, a very nice young man named Chang, was on his way, and I could get on with life. Clogged drain and line backing up. I had used this company before and it worked for me. When I called in I was handled in a very professional manner and emailed information that someone would be in touch with me.When the technician arrived he informed of the problem and how it would be handled and the cost involved. He informed me of his progress and how long it would take.Cleaned up afterwards which was very important to me.

We had a technician come to our house to fix the hot water heater after the pilot light kept going out. After he got here, he pointed out a lot of problems with the hot water heater. Most notably was the water pooling around it. We assumed it was a leak from somewhere else but he seemed to think it was coming from the overly rusted hot water heater. Needless to say, he was right. We replaced it and after several days of no hot water, we were super grateful. Hot water and no more leak. Also, the tech was really wonderful and friendly and did an excellent job of things. Couldn't have asked for better or more efficient service :)

Roto rooter saved me thousands of dollars! The other companies I called only suggested putting in an outside clean out for my clogged drain. Roto rooter was willing to go into my basement and clear the clog from there, when other companies were not willing to do so, and it was affordable. My technician, Jeff, was great and explained things to me professionally. So glad I called them!

Called with a failed sump just after big box stores closed (around 10:30 PM). Out of fear of having to rip out carpet and other items susceptible to moisture, I opted to call Roto Rooter having had bad experiences with other local plumbers here in Indy.I can't say enough about the quality of work. He arrived at 1:00 AM came in, got right to work, and had the pump running in less than 30 minutes. The price, you ask??? Better than the local guys during regular business hours for an updated version of exactly the same pump.Of course, DIY would have been cheaper, it always is. But, in a situation like this, they are absolutely the best alternative. Their staff was friendly and kept in touch throughout the process of getting somebody assigned to my after-hours emergency job.

I called Roto-Rooter Plumbing a Sunday afternoon for emergency repair (outdoor faucet replacement), after failing to get two other companies to come. Twenty minutes after I called, service technician Lal Muana showed up, with a great smile despite having been working for more than eight hours already. This job took him two hours, for it turned out to be more intricate than at first sight. The repair was finalized beautifully, and thanks to him we could turn the water back on without having to wait another day. Lal Muana was very pleasant and courteous throughout, and obviously very competent.

David was very knowledgeable and polite. He showed up early and solved our problem quickly. I highly recommend using Roto-Rooter.

I was very happy with my water heater replacement on a holiday weekend. There was no upcharge for the service as they charge flat rates. My hard work didn't pay off so the ease of knowing what to do worked. What I mean is that I toiled for a day to unclog my pipe and Jeff got it in ten minutes. He didn't just stop there but made sure that my pipe was good all the way to the main pipe. He also helped with preventative measures and told me that this one fix helped with other problems we were having.Look no further. You pay for the service you get, don't forget to look online for coupons, and we received great service with a 6 month warranty for the money. Not bad at all.

Will never use them again. Paid $300 to clear a frozen kitchen sink pipe. Appreciate they got it cleared and the technician was nice. However the dishwasher did not work after and they told me this is a separate service and I would be charged another $300. I will not be roto-rooted again

My experience was so different from every review here, I have to wonder if the reviews are solicited or fraudulent. I called to have a plumber look at our gas water heater. It makes popping noises when heating, and some research tells me that's normal while other research says it's a cause for concern. They told me they'd have someone out within an hour. It was almost 90 minutes later when someone showed up. No biggie. He was nice enough, but didn't even tell me his name (while most of the other reviews call out Techs by name and sometimes number). He didn't know why I had called, which makes me wonder if they even sent someone with water heater experience. I took him to the water heater and turned up the heat to force it to kick on. I told him the unit is 11 years old, but I don't want to replace it just for age because a wall will have to be removed to replace. He told me he had lots of experience with this water heater, while waiting for it to start making noise. He then told me it wasn't good, and not normal, and that it should be replaced because it's getting old. Never having looked at the brand, model, or manufacture date, he said, So you say it's 20 years old? I reminded him I had said 11 years. He immediately started looking at the room around it and commenting on how difficult it would be to get the tank out. He took a picture of the wall I told him would have to come down, then went out to his van to check on something. Later he comes back to the door and tells me it isn't good and can't be fixed and asked if I wanted an estimate. He pulled out his cell phone and showed a picture of a partial price list water heater like mine for $1,920 installed, including tax. He then scrolled through other pictures on his phone showing me something new that had to be installed with it due to code changes this year. I couldn't understand what he called it because he was Vietnanese(?) and struggled with English. His estimate didn't take into consideration the wall that would have to be removed. Overall, I was disappointed that the responding plumber seemed to know more about trying to sell a water heater than diagnosing one. I find it odd that most other reviews list a Tech name and even ID#, and my Tech didn't even provide his name. Online reviews can be easily manipulated. Based on my experience today, this RR doesn't provide the great service that everyone seems to rave about. I would suggest choosing a plumber by getting a referral from a trusted friend rather than 90+ questionable online reviews. I won't be calling them again.

Jeff came to my house today and cleared my clogged sewage line, after I had another company come out but decided after very little effort they couldn't do it without me paying a fortune. So I called RotoRooter and Jeff got right to work clearing my clog. I'm very grateful at how well he did and informative he was. I was able to take a shower and flush the toilets again!

I knew I was going to purchase a home that was built in 1920 last December. I was very familiar with the overall condition of the home so I began to shop for different services which I knew it would require. In January I purchased a voucher for Roto Rooter plumbing services for $149. When I did not follow up with Roto Rooter and make an appointment they sent me a message through the Angie’s List portal asking me to schedule a date. At that time, I told them I would be using their services at some time in the future and I explained the situation. At the end of May, I sent another email requesting to schedule an appointment on the day that I closed on my house.We scheduled for June 10th and a fantastic plumber showed up and did exactly what he was supposed to. My problem started with a site upgrade done by Angie’s List. Suddenly, my vouchers are no longer in my payment history. There is just a note telling me to call if nothing is there. I did and the entirety of the office was out attending a companywide event. I have 9 messages between Roto Rooter’s Cindy and CK Cooke and since they first contacted me when I didn’t immediately call to spend my voucher I just knew they had some information regarding my purchase. Little did I know I was about to become Roto Rooters vessel for repeated denials and incredulity. The anti-helpful customer service representative said she was going to help me. Her help: she would sell me a voucher from the Roto Rooter site for $40 against my $150 bill. According to the representative they have never talked to me before today despite my 9 messages from Roto Rooter employees and their call to me this morning to schedule for today. I go on to be accused of lying and trying to defraud Roto Rooter. So because they will not attempt to confirm the information I am telling them, I have to pay another $150 to the plumber along with being besmirched by multiple employees and the manager who was promised to call and resolve the problem never did.My problem is not that something went wrong; stuff happens. It is no one was willing to even try to confirm what I told them and everyone was willing to accuse me of lying despite having a representative in my home in front of my computer who could see the messages I was referring to. They did not want to fix it. Everyone was satisfied with the take an extra $150 solution. Do you have an extra $150 to pay because of someone else’s folly? If you do, no worries but I don’t and it hurt me.Addendum 06/16/16:This is my second review of this incident. Why then am I writing a second entry? Because in the course of doing business, sometimes bad things are going to happen; even the best businesses are going to have some unfortunate events which occur for any number of reasons and the measure of the business is not whether or not these things happen but what management does once they are aware of the situation to resolve the matter.The original incident occurred late in the afternoon on a Friday. To my surprise, bright and early Saturday morning I received a call from the Customer Service Manager apologizing for the problem and promising to handle it as expeditiously as possible. A few hours later, I received a call from the Regional Manager who apologized for the problem offered me a satisfactory settlement of the problem and assurance that the people involved would be re-trained regarding the issues that came up during my service call. I received a third call Saturday afternoon just to confirm that all of my needs had been met and that the situation had been resolved to my satisfaction. Further, they wanted to ensure that I would give them another opportunity to service my needs and I will. As I said, bad things are going to happen sometimes and the question is what you do about it. They went above and beyond during off hours to make sure that my service needs were met and my ancillary issues resolved.In the end, Roto Rooter hit this one out of the park.

Our main sewer line was block causing water to backup in the downstairs bathroom. We called Roto-Rooter to come out on a Saturday evening and they sent someone immediately. The service technician who came out was very friendly and had all the right tools to clear the blockage within just a few minutes.

I scheduled my appointment online, which I loved, and I got to pick the appointment window. I got a call 30 minutes before saying they were coming. They showed up at 3pm when my service window was 3-5pm. The technician was polite and professional. The only downside was the labor cost. $219/hour is a LOT. But the problem was fixed.

Dave was great! He was able to arrive with an hour of calling on a Saturday! The dispatcher who helped us on the was a super nice woman! Extremely helpful and kept us updated. Would recommend!

I had Roto-Rooter out on December 28th, the last day of the work-week before the New Year holiday. I called at 11am, they were onsite by 2:15pm, and the job was finished a little before 6:00pm. I had to have a sewage ejector pump replaced. It was an expensive job, but Andrew C. (#4782) made sure I got the best discounts available through Roto-Rooter. While I suspect I could have found someone to do the job cheaper, it was done same-day and it was done professionally. The only reason I deducted one star was because, by the end of his visit, Andrew's originally-immaculate cleanliness went a little lax- there were pipe-shavings left on the lid of my washing machine, and some dirt had been tracked throughout. Nothing a quick vacuum-cleaning couldn't fix.

While I have no complaints regarding the technicians who provide my business with service, the process to request service for a commercial account that has been using your services for nearly 30 years at the same address is ridiculously cumbersome. It took over 5 minutes to request a service while the agent made me verify every single piece of information listed on our account. If you can ask for the account name and pull up the account in the system. It would be much less frustrating if the agent would simply ask if any thing had changed. I shudder to think that myself and my staff have to endure this with every service call in.
