Best Leak Repair And Replacement in Houston TX

Village Plumbing & Air Plumber
Had two mixed experiences with this company. First time my AC went out without warning. They figured it was a capacitor issue and replaced the capacitor - albeit with a very high upcharge (my home warranty company was shocked they were charging me $400 just to replace a capacitor). Additionally, they were very late to the appointment - although I couldn't blame the tech for doing a thorough job with the previous client, I didn't have anyone come until 4 hours after my appointment window. The second time, my AC drain line apparently became clogged and tripped my float switch. They sent out a tech to snake the line, but again with a very high charge of >$250. They didn't offer a warranty for the service. Well about a month after that service, the drain line clogged again and I ended up having to hire another company to do it again (it's now lasted 9 months without issue). All in all, I had two mixed experiences, and get the sense that the company seems to be more focused on making money than solving issues. The only plus is that they are available at nearly all times, but based on the low quality and high cost of their services I would not recommend for AC issues.

Nick's Plumbing & Air Conditioning Plumber
Responded quickly and came to the house quickly for the repair. Had to cut open dining room walls to access leak. I feel for the price the company charges, they should have used equipment that made less less, used a shop vac to not let so much dust in my house or clean up after themselves. Also for the price for services maybe should include some patch work of the areas accessed.

GEI Plumbing Services: Plumbers Near Houston Plumber
I placed a call to GEI Plumbing Services. Saturday evening where I got a live person and not voicemail. An appointment was immediately made for Monday at 8:00 a.m. where Evan and his associate came over and gave me a quote. After agreeing, a crew of two men came over an hour later and commenced the job. I've to say these guys and their service was phenomenal. I'd like to thank Evan and his associate for a job well done - and fast. Evan - you are the best!

Wedgeworth Plumbing Plumber
Could not be happier with the service and professionalism from TJ today. I called Friday and asked for an estimate and possible repair for a pipe in our guest bathroom and was told TJ would around 2-4 p.m.. Upon arrival, TJ was in a marked vehicle, in uniform, and extremely polite and friendly. He inspected my problem, showed me up front what the cost would be and never once tried to upsell me.The work was complete in a short amount of time for a fair price. He then gave me a great quote ( because I asked for one) for a re pipe of my entire house. This was my second time using Wedgeworth, but I’m more than sure it will not be my last. I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing/piping issues.

Texas Plumbing Plumber
Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with Texas Plumbing. I contacted them because I was needing a licensed plumber to do a gas inspection before centerpoint could turn on the gas to the house. At first contact Nathan was great, very responsive and quickly got me on the schedule for the next morning at 9am.I scheduled someone to be at the house from then on. They did not show up until 1PM. They never called me letting me know they would be delayed. I had to call several times to get an update on what the plan was. Nathan apologized and said he'd work with us on the pricing, which never happened. While they were there we asked if they could look at why 2 of my plumbing fixtures were not working. The gentleman let me know the diverters were bad and would need replacement. I approved them to continue with the fix, and after the work was done, turns out that wasn't the issue but rather a simple fix that required no parts or much effort. I discussed this issue with Nathan to express my frustration of how I could have potentially saved $300 (the cost to replace the diverters, which only $80 of it was for parts), and he said he'd talk to his technician and would get back to me on the situation. He never did, but were quick to send me an invoice. The story goes on and on, but the point is the communication was awful. I work for a reputable residential/commercial builder and have been exposed to terrible subcontractors, but you just never get used to how unprofessional some of them are. I wish I would have just pulled off my plumber from one of my jobs and had him do me this solid rather than seeking for someone else.

All in the Family Plumbing Plumber
I was impressed with these folks. They were very professional, reasonably priced, and very quick with the work. In my experience, larger companies have crazy overhead and charge you unreasonable amounts for minor work - these guys did a great job at a fair price.Work done:- Remove and haul off old toilet, install new toilet.- Repair leaking sprayer diverter on roman style tub- Repair malfunctioning water faucet on tub- Replace water supply lines & shut-off valves to a bar sink and replace the faucet.

Acacias Plumbing LLC Plumber
I called Acacias Plumbing to replace an old water heater and to install a water filter on the main water line. I spoke with Hector and he came out to give an estimate and check the access measurements for the new water heater. He came back a few days later to install the new water heater and haul away the old water heater. They also installed the water filter. Everything went well and a month later there have been no issues and we are happy with both things that they installed. I would recommend Hector and Acacias Plumbing because they were knowledgeable, fast and professional.

Brad's Plumbing Plumber
The gentleman who I spoke to on the phone and the one that actually came to our house were both very polite and knowledgeable. They were able to come out the same day but were flexible to schedule for the next day as well. Weren't pushy about adding on work that didn't actually need to be done, just what was needed to rectify our issue. Pricing is fair for the services rendered. Overall, a very positive experience and I will be contacting them again in future.

Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical Plumber
I give 3 stars for coming out next day and flawless communication. We had water heater pilot light issue, and the tech asked $250+ just to ignite pilot light, and $350+ for full inspection. There was no way that I would pay $350+ just to figure out what was wrong with it. He was keep giving me big numbers for part replacement, changing water heater. But my water heater was only 3 years old. He discounted to $125 just ignite the pilot light. He was telling me we would need to change the gas valve and much more, even told me the cost to replace the 3 years old water heater just for pilot light issue. I did not go with him and decided to call manufacturer and other tech for 2nd opinion.I contacted manufacturer after he left, and was informed with many maintenance tips, such as cleaning flame trap (air filter) located at the bottom water heater. Clogged air filter could prevent sufficient airflow, causing pilot light to go off frequently. Customer rep told me it is the most common reason for frequently pilot light problem. Tech from Abacus did not mentioned anything about that, focused more on how to make me spend big money, while customer rep from manufacturer sounded more knowledgable in maintenance.I should have researched Youtube or contacted manufacturer before calling Abacus. Tech from Abacus was friendly and Abacus staffs were very friendly and helpful as well, fully licensed for big project or replacement project, but I don’t think they are meant for small maintenance problems.
