James came out and did a really thorough inspection and FIXED all the plumbing issues this hard freeze dumped on us. Punctual, polite, very competent.

The main drain collecting 2 sink drains in our master bedroom was clogged. Called them on December 23 evening, one tech alone came, he had no camera with him and told me that he was not able to find access to the main drain from the attic above our bathroom. He spent 3 hours trying to access it from the sinks without success and left. After 1 week we got 2 techs coming out this morning. We went to the attic and they immediately found the main pipe that was almost already exposed from the insulation. After the repair was completed I went with them to check the attic and they floor was covered by the insulation that they threw there to access the pipe but they didn't clean. I had to leave home soon so I told them that i'd do it myself later (for the price they charge they should clean after themselves..). While they were showing what they did inside the attic the door was open; after they left I went back upstairs and closed the door and I found a nice hole in the drywall. I called their customer service and initially they told me that somebody would be dispatched for an estimate; I asked them: estimate of what? And they told me that I'm supposed to pay for the repair! When I started to get upset the operator told me that a manager will call me tomorrow! Not sure if they will ever fix it but what really makes me upset is that one knows when is going through the wall and they hided that to me keeping the door open. If they were honest I'd probably have fixed myself.

When I called to schedule my appointment Erika was amazing! She was polite, efficient and we were able to schedule an appointment that worked with my schedule. I highly recommend this company!

I used them to redo my plumbing and appliances in the kitchen after the winter storm, evaluate a leak( which turned out to be a simple fix they told me how do it myself!), and recently they replaced my emergency water shut off valve. He worked in the rain and mud to make sure he completed the job , put all the dirt back, sealed up the whole in the wall, insulated the pipes outside, and caulked the small gap between the pipe and brick outside. Homeowners please do not allow these so called handyman mess with your plumbing. Call redfin and get it done right!!!!

**if you need Emergency Plumbing Services** CALL THEM NOW, thank me later! Zach Fischer was amazing! We had our plumbing/sewer to back up into our home. 3 of our bathrooms were not working. We called 2 other companies who would not come out: 1st we called ARS Rescue Rooter- they couldn’t come out until tomorrow morning. 2nd we called Rosenberg Plumbing Services (who installed the plumbing) but they didn’t even want to come out (out of warranty & wouldn’t do emergency repair. DO NOT waste your time with them, so RUDE!). Called Abacus and from the time they answered I KNEW we were in good hands. We were assured they could help, they quickly verified availability of a technician & everything she said she would do, she did! I got a text message to confirm they were on the way & Zach called to confirm. He was here in just over an hour. He explained EVERY detail of what happened as soon as he walked in. (He’d already checked the outside and knew the issue!) We learned more from talking to him than we ever have! He fixed the issue in less than an hour and confirmed they’d be back to run a camera to be certain. We’re so grateful and will ONLY USE Abacus going forward. GREAT JOB ALL AROUND!!!!
