This was a great experience. I wanted to get some spare keys for my motorcycle and I kept hitting wall after wall. I finally got referred over to Downtown Locksmith and I'm so pleased with the service. It is an actual brick and mortar store, for starters. That's a huge plus since I'm more comfortable with the level of skill with someone who can keep a shop going and not just have a mobile service, especially since this wasn't an emergency so I didn't want to have to spend $60+ for a visit. The gentleman who waited on me was very kind, cheerful and professional. He had me check the keys before I left and took the time to explain to me why his keys were going to work better than my old one. The price was MORE than fair and he did a superb job. This is the only place that will get my business from now on. I do wish you had slightly different hours but that is a tiny inconvenience I will gladly work around. Thanks for my keys!

CJ was great and installed the locks quickly.

Needed lock removed and rekeyed. They warped cylinder and tried charging me 70 dollars more they charge 50 fee for coming and separate 30 for service. They left the job half done and still expected full price!!! Do not recommend. I recommend Rigos Locksmith who was willing to correct their error for less then 1/3 the price so they charged me $150 for a lock and it wasn't even a knew lock!!!

Broken service dates, promises unkept, numerous messages not returned. Courteous staff but very disorganized. A great company that has fallen from the customer oriented group that it once was. Go someplace else unless you are willing to put up with ineffectiveness.

Update: They did come back. Drew Ramjas did an admirable job of fixing the problem, assisted from the office manager. I am happy to upgrade the rating from 1 star to 4. If the job had been handled this way from the beginning things would have gone a lot more smoothly with no waiting around for no shows, or callbacks. Thanks to Anderson Lock and Safe.

I purchased an old wooden desk on CL done time ago to replace the one I lost a few years back. The center drawer had a built-in lock that, when the drawer is pushed in all the way and locked, would activate a locking mechanism for all the other drawers and would prevent them from being opened. Great feature if you have the original key which in my case, I didn't. I was hoping to get a key made but unfortunately the lock is so custom that keys aren't made anymore small enough to fit the key hole. But, the guy behind the counter said he'd talk to the owner and see if there's something else they could figure out. Since I had taken them the front art of the drawer that had the lock I decided to leave it with them and decided to wait for their call. I wasnt home an hour before they called saying they had a solution and wanted to know if they had my permission to go ahead and install a new lock. When I picked the piece up I could only tell that it was a new lock by the silver color where the original was more of a copper color. I put the drawer back together and let the glue dry before sliding it back into place and everything worked perfectly!!! Not only did the bolt line up perfectly with the notch on the underside of the desktop but the locking mechanism workes perfectly as well. Going into this I didn't have a great deal of faith that it could be fixed but these guys really blew me away. I still can't believe it's fixed.

Another fake locksmith with a bogus storefront address. If you call the number you are routed to a call center out of state which farms your job out to one of their contractors. I just need a key copied. Don’t pretend you are a local locksmith business with a storefront when you clearly are not. ?

just moved into a new home and needed to re-key the whole thing. called jeff to make an appointment next day! had him in my contacts from locking my keys in my car awhile back and he showed up within 15 minutes w the best price around for that as well. anything lock wise i would contact jeff as he is quick and helps you save money any way possible.

Put in a call because someone tried to steal my car and broke something off in the ignition. Corey was very polite and gave us an honest quote with no pressure. After setting the appointment he was there reasonably quick and got straight to work. After spend time trying to retrieve the broken piece with no success we decided to replace the lock cylinder. He re-quoted with a fair price including parts labor and tax. After replacing the ignition lock cylinder he cleaned up all drilling chips and installed the panels returning the car how it was when he arrived. I would recommend Corey for any locksmith service.
