The team at Design Tree Maintenance are professional and responsive to their customer's needs. I shopped around and found them to be competitively priced, but what I appreciate most is that they provide me with options after carefully listening to my questions and concerns, unlike other companies who only provided one option - take it or leave it. I've worked with Design Tree Maintenance twice now (once in 2018 and again in 2019) and have been very pleased with all of my interactions with various representatives; scheduling, arborist, billing - they are all kind, patient, friendly, and helpful!!

I have a very mature Silk Oak in the front of my house. Over the last few years it had a great deal of dead wood in it and was not doing well. It needed a serious pruning. I called a few companies and decided on Liberty Tree Experts. When I called I left a message and received a call back from Jaime within a short time. She was very friendly and answered all my questions. We set up for one of their arborists to come the next day. Andy came and he too was very easy to speak with and answered lots of questions and gave me some very good advice on how to water properly and care better for the tree. He said their teams are all very good. The price was very good compared to some of the other estimates I had gotten. Within a couple of days I heard from Dilin who set up the service. It was booked out three weeks, which was OK with me. Today the team showed up right on time. It was a team of about 4 or 5 guys. Samuel was the team lead and he was very nice and very knowledgeable. He explained everything about what they would do. They would take out all of the dead wood and balance the tree out with pruning. They did a fabulous job. Yes, the tree is sparser looking right now but I expected that with all the dead wood coming out and pruning to balance. Sam explained that silk oaks do get a lot of dead wood and I probably should have it pruned out every year or two. He also said the tree will do OK and should bloom pretty well and fill out again. The whole team was very respectful of the property and cleaned up 100 percent. I would recommend them and will definitely use them in the future. Thank you Liberty Tree Experts!

I had an Orange Tree that was out of control. It was producing too much fruit for me to manage and the tree was overgrown so the fruit produced wasn't great.

The Hungry Tree team came out and pruned the tree way back, fertilized it and removed all the fruit including all the bad fruit that wasn't picked from previous years.

Juan Sanchez and his team were professional and fair. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs tree pruning or fertilization.

Had them out to clear the back of the property that was filled with Stag horn Chollas and other native desert scrub, as well as several overgrown palo verdes. Came out on a Saturday to provide an estimate and were able to start the work on my schedule. Spent 2 days clearing out the desert and left it better than I had expected. They were very respectful, wore masks, and kept their distance when needed. Would recommend and will use them again for any landscaping needs.

I have used Veteran Family Tree Service three times and each time they arrived on time or early, finished the job and cleaned up the mess to the perfect detail of trimming sweet acaica, citrus and pine tress. Knowledgeable advise on a tree that wasn't growing much. It's now looking much better and growing fuller. Thumbs up to Veteran Family Tree Service!

Murphy's tree service showed up on my front door wanting to trim my front olive tree. I told the worker I could not afford the $350 for the tree and said I did not want it down. So Today, a week later the worker came to my house and said they were here for the trimming of the tree. I said I did not schedule a tree trim. He proceeded to call Mr Murphy and I went back to work. My phone rang and one of my employees answered and it was Mr Murphy demanding to talk to Carol. She got on the phone and he proceeded to yell at her demanding she get her tree trimmed. I hung up on him. He called back a second time and my employee answered the phone only to get yelling and was VERY force full, angry, rude, disrespectful, demanding and continued to harass me . Three times he called back. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE...

They removed 1 big Palo Verde, 3 storm damaged bushes and ground down 2 Palm tree stumps. By far the best price out of 3 quotes, excellent workmanship, prompt, clean, professional. Lance is one of the nicest guys you want to meet.

Excellent work, great pricing and customer service. I reached out to Divine to get some landscaping work done and to clean up my backyard. His team showed up quickly in a couple days and got everything finished in just a couple hours and I have a huge backyard. My girlfriend came home and was shocked how nice it looked. I was referred to them and now I’m referring you over to them!

I hired Hummingbird Tree Care last year and they did a fantastic job. However, I’ve attempted to hire them twice and twice they were a no show.

Our first no show was November 3rd 2022. Johnny confirmed our appointment about a two weeks prior. However, was then completely non responsive when we texted or called to verify we were still on for our appointment 24 hours before. Of course day of he never showed. We even called and texted to make sure he was ok? Again no explanation or return call.

After months of not hearing from him I called and spoke to him (this time he answered) I explained he had done work for us in the past and we would like to have him out to crown our tree. He asked if I could send him photos. I was driving at the time and forgot to send them. So the next day he texted me a reminder. I immediately sent photos. We exchanged texts and I was given a price of 1200.00. I agreed to the fee and he confirmed he would arrive on February 16th between 7-8am. I texted him on Monday the 13th to verify we’re still set (given our past experience). Again no response and again a no show on the 16th. I called both numbers he has on the internet with no option to leave a message with either. Therefore, I texted him and emailed him asking for an explanation? Again non responsive.

I am disgruntled because I took off work, boarded my dog, and picked up the yard/took down stringed light—all in anticipation of our trees being serviced. Not once but twice for him to no show. I find this disrespectful and completely unprofessional.

I guess he doesn’t value 1200.00 and lacks human decency to notify people of rescheduling or postponing a job if they’re setback due to inclement weather or employee shortages etc.

We are completely understanding people. Heck we offered him a second chance and didn’t hold the first no show against his company. However, two no shows is where I draw the line and write an honest review. Hopefully, others do not experience the unprofessionalism of hummingbird tree care.

Don’t waste your time with this company.

They showed up and took care of the weeds, bushes, backyard lawn, and our troublesome palm tree, all under three hours, and it looks fantastic! Kept an open dialogue and we're very happy with how it all looks now. Will hire for monthly services.

Professional folks who get the job done right and do it quick. I’d recommend them for any of your tree needs. The team gave me a quick quote and came back that same week. Depending on the season I understand it may not be that fast but it was clear they cared about my yard even with the much larger jobs I’m sure they had.
