They removed a 75 year old pine tree that was starting to worry us due to it hanging over our house. Watching their people was like watching a good ballet. Precise and graceful. The man who came back to grind the stump did an excellent job. This is the 2nd pine tree we had to remove and both removals were fascinating to watch. We have used Design Tree Maintenance for many years now. We have been overwhelmingly satisfied with their work. Professional and clean.

They are totally professional and KNOW the business of trees and all landscape work. They pay attention to detail; are prompt, helpful; and considerate of your property and needs. They do more than just trees. Their arborist walks your property and he listens to what you want. He discusses ideas with you and then, based on what you want, he gives you an estimate for the work. Everyone (all levels) is very knowledgeable of their specific area of work which is why the work/services are so well done. Do not expect to get quality without paying for a fair price for it. Others won't give you Design Tree Maintenance's excellent work ethic, care and service.

They arrived within the designated time frame. The lead on the job, Logan, was courteous and accommodated my request for a slice of the tree limb to keep. They finished removing the tree and cleaned up thoroughly in an hour and half. Two days later another team did the stump grinding. They were also prompt, did a great job and cleaned up. Price was reasonable for a 30-40 ft pine.

The team at Design Tree were very professional, on time and left a very clean work area when done. I've used them for the past 7 years to maintain the Tipu tree I had, but when it got too tall for me to feel comfortable from a safety standpoint, I called them to remove the tree, grind the stump and plant a new Mimosa tree near the removal area. It won't grow as tall and the root system won't be nearly as invasive. Thanks guys.

This review is for my mothers home. Years ago when I noticed her trees encroaching over her roofline, I advised her to have Design Tree come out to properly trim and reduce the trees. Instead, she had her yard guy trim the trees. It was a terrible hack job, as he improperly lopped off the large lower branches, leaving vulnerable and unsightly, branch stumps sticking out. In recent months I noticed signs of borer beetles, peeling bark and and dead branches. Upon inspection of the tree, arborist Nick Thiel said it was infested with borer beetles. After weighing the options, it was my decision to have the tree removed. Design Tree did an impeccable job with the removal, stump grinding and clean up, as well as trimming (actually sculpting) the other front yard tree. The property looks neat and clean, and the removed tree looks as though it was never there. I would highly recommend Design Tree and confidently use them again for any tree and yard maintenance and plant health care in the future. Great job!

Excellent in all areas. Ben was tremendous in setting us up with service including regular feeding of our many plants. We had one tiny miscommunication that was readily and quickly handled and solved. This company is knowledgeable and responsive.

After living here in the Phoenix area for over 30 years, I've finally decided to use a tree service. I've always done my own. I love trees and have several onsite, after the Aug 17th 2020 storm (2) of my beautiful trees were damaged and the hand writing was on the wall. Conditions are changing and the trees had gotten large. I found Design Tree Maintenance thru a wrong number, I spoke to the guy and he said this is your lucky day, I've used this company for years. They have never disappointed. So I gave them a call and with all the wind damage I had to wait almost a week but it was worth it. From Tom the gentleman who has worked for this company for years as an office worker who came out to get me a quote while everyone else was busy. And for the most important thing the price, this company has decided they will charge a fare price for good work. The crews that came out did good work and cleaned up after themselves.

Charged me over $7000.00 FOR ABOUT 7 hours, not even. Total rip off and couldn't keep appointments. Watch out! Trees don't look any different, and for a while, I thought they had ruined them. As you can tell, I'm not happy.

I have worked with this company for many years at my house in Scottsdale and then my second house when I moved to Phoenix. Nick is a pro arborist Who help me select the trees for my yard. He’s great at picking what type of tree will be appropriate for what I am looking for and what will work for the space. Overall the company has done a great job of honoring their commitments and standing behind their work. most companies do not give a guarantee on the plants whereas if one of my trees would die in the first year they would replace it. They also installed my irrigation system and anytime I had a problem with it they were right there to fix it. Nick help me design my entire front and backyard in my new house. I would recommend them to anyone I know. very high-quality and good service

The job was large in clear cutting a large number off shoot-based trees on our Church property that were causing a traffic hazard on a busy street and also restricting views of our church for guests. On all measurements of cost, responsiveness and quality, the result was excellent. The first photo shows the start of the project and associated resources. The second picture reveals the results which conformed to our request.

The crew did an awesome job and it was done in a timely manner. They cleaned up my front yard to pristine condition! I would definitely use them again should the need for tree maintenance arise.

Design Tree did an exceptional job reducing the tops and sides of our 9 extremely overgrown Ficus Trees. Ben, a Certified Arborist, took great care in explaining everything they would do when he came out to give us an estimate. And indeed, everything he said they would do they did. They covered our pool & travertine with a tarp as well as putting plywood over the travertine, fountain, and pool pumps in our yard as well as 2 of our neighbors. The crew was extremely hard working, professional and friendly (even to our dog when they took breaks). At the end of the 2nd day they took time to not only clean our pool but our neighbors pools and removed all debris from our yard and theirs.
I had gotten several quotes from different companies. Design Tree was not the cheapest or the most expensive. They were worth every penny bc of the professional job they did. We will be using them every few years now to maintain our Ficus trees.

Design Tree first impression was friendly and professional. That impression carried throughout the project. I would definitely recommend them for a project you may have. I was especially concerned with my project because it was removal of three very tall palm trees. Safety was a big priority! All parties involved managed the project with the same level of care and courtesy!

Was scheduled for an estimate, and the technician called the morning of to say he’d be here between 1:00 and 4:00. Called back at 2:00 to say I’d “just been added” to his schedule for the day, and he wasn’t sure whether he’d be able to make it before 5:30, and then we’d be running out of daylight. I told him that was weird since someone had called to confirm the specific window this morning. “Huh,” he said. “Well…I’m going to have to track down who told you THAT.” Him. It was him. I texted him a screenshot of his own message and then he never showed. Cool cool.

I love these guys! They trimmed my cherished canary palm and did an amazing job as you can see by the before and after photos. Plus they performed a precision tree takedown of another tree in my front yard that got destroyed by a microburst in August. I will always call these guys for all my tree needs and suggest you do too!

I had two very large trees that I needed removed. After the consultation, I went with DTM and am very happy with the results. The entire process was explained clearly so that I knew what to expect and the exact cost. Once I called to start the process, it was handled with professionalism and courtesy. The teams arrived on time, they worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up nicely upon completion. The stump removal was fantastic, you can't tell there were ever trees in the yard. Total work time was only 5 ½ hours. Payment was half down as deposit, half upon completion. When the work was done, the office called to follow up and make sure that I was satisfied before processing the final payment. I would definitely recommend DTM.

Nick evaluated the health of our fruit trees. We purchased the diy fertilizer last year from you and our trees look 10 times better. We decided to treat them with your injection fertilization this year. The service person was on time and professional.

I have on four occasions used Design Tree Maintenance for tree trimming (crown reduction). Specifically, 4 bottle brush trees and a chinese elm. They are competitively priced. Good crew worked as a team and in a safe manner. Clean-up was great. The team leader showed patience with my questions and concerns, providing good information.

I had them remove four tree stumps and spray the roots of three Sissoo trees. The crews showed up and were professional. I highly recommend their services and it was a fair price.

It's the first time EVER that a tree service did not disappoint me! They showed up exactly on time. They did exactly the work we agreed on. The palm tree trimmer courageously dealt with rats jumping out of the tree on him. The irrigation specialist fixed a leak in minutes that several previous contractors were unable to fix after hours of work. Everyone cleaned up the work site very efficiently. Before this I had completely lost any hope of ever getting tree work done right but Design Tree Maintenance really came through for me.

Best place to get tree removal, service, maintenance, weed control or anything besides cutting lawns. They are expensive but the work is guaranteed and professionally done. You get what you pay for. Period. You could catch the crew going down the road but you might not be satisfied and the work is surely not guaranteed like Design Tree. Highly recommend. Pretty expensive but again: It's a tree. It's your space. It's your hard earned money. Go with the best.

Had a 100 year old pine tree that unfortunately had to go, Design true maintenance was prompt and courteous And did a great job not disturbing my neighbors! Would absolutely use them in the future, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for all Tree maintenance and landscaping needs

I called several tree companies that came up on google, none returned my call. A friend recommended Design Tree Maintenance, they answered when I called they gave me a quote the next day, they had the crew out to do the work a few days later. Professional, and prompt in all aspects, highly recommend.

As good as it gets. They arrived on time and started promptly. I was informed by the foreman as to what the entire process entailed. We had a second acacia tree that required pruning to get it away from our roof since that was being replaced in a few weeks. They worked safely and quickly. I had another vendor on site working on my pool pump that had to cross the work area a few times. When they saw him coming they immediately stopped and allowed him to pass through. Clean up was done completely with no sign of them being on site. Great company and highly recommend!

Trees are so fricking expensive, I can't believe it. But if you want it done right, I definitely recommend this company. I've had a really bad experience with another company. They were professional, actually cleaned up after themselves, no random day of costs that weren't mentioned up front.

Contacted this business on 8/22. They were quick to respond and Dania sent me an email to send pictures of the tree I need trimmed. I responded that day, I never heard back. I sent another email yesterday to Dania that I had not heard anything back yet, with no response. Will be taking my business elsewhere

The evaluation and recommendations regarding the tree trimming have been consistently what I would expect from this professional tree trimming service. We have found the cost estimates to be consistent from year to year. The quality of the tree trimming service has been consistently good. Customer service when we needed it has been good. We called regarding fertilizing of our trees as they offer a good product specifically as to the application procedures. They offered ways to apply the fertilizer that was a great shortcut. We needed more branches removed after only 3 months after tree trimming. We came to a compromise on price that was reasonable. You need to be involved in the estimation of your tree trimming preferences. Design Tree Maintenance will help you figure out what approach will be good for your tree and offer a competitive price for their service.

We had a pretty large project for them: one large tree removal, eight other trees to be trimmed and they identified an infestation problem that they were able to treat. every last one of these people were professional, polite, the kind of people you want to do business with. five stars. We will use them next year.

I rely on the arborist (Nick Thiel) in the maintenance of a large mesquite tree in my side yard and have done for a number of years. The crews that trim the tree that overhangs the house take care when dropping or lowering heavy pieces so as not to cause damage. They do a good clean up afterwards as well. I have not had any storm damage since I began service and am confident that things are in the best shape possible.

They arrived promptly on the day (actually a day earlier, as they had a cancellation) and were professional. They did an excellent job of clean up and removal. We had a special request to save the wood for our fireplace and they were very accommodating. We would highly recommend Design Tree Maintenance.

This is the second time I've used this company as they have exceeded my expectations. They did a great job of tree trimming, stump grinding, cleanup & disposal. The only issue that prevented me from giving them 5 stars was that there equipment leaked small patches if oil/gas onto the walkways. They were courteous & sent out a crew to pressure wash the concerned areas where the leakage occurred. I will definitely hire them again as we were very satisfied with there performance & follow up.

Design Tree did an excellent job at my home! I needed my tall Palo Verde tree in my front yard trimmed and prepped for monsoon season. They did a drive by quote, did exactly what they said they would do to the tree and charged exactly what they quoted me. All while not having to leave work to be at home the entire process. They are very quick with their initial response and also their work and cleanup. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I was especially impressed with the job they did reducing the size of our ficus significantly (it is in a relatively small space) while still retaining a natural growth look. After their excellent, licensed arborist, Ben, assessed my diseased, large Jacaranda tree, we scheduled the removal and stump grinding. The job was flawlessly done by a very professional crew. This includes the safe removal of this tree which was planted extremely close to my block walls and 3 homes. They left the area immaculate and neatly stacked part of the trunk which I wanted to keep. They ground the rest of the tree in front of my home and left the street and sidewalks clean. I've used them over the years and they are reliably excellent.

Design Tree Maintenance went above and beyond our expectations. Not only were we completely satisfied with their work and the amount of time that they got it done, we were thoroughly impressed with the level of integrity shown by the workers and the company as a whole. During the process of getting one of our trees removed (an enormous 40ft+ eucalyptus) a branch fell and chipped a roof tile. They could have easily taken my money and moved on without my knowledge of the broken tile since I was not home to check the completion of the project. 3 days after the project was completed, one of the men showed up at my door with a replacement tile and get it all taken care of. Design Tree Maintenance was an absolutely flawless experience!

Design Tree Maintenance removed an old, dying tree from our yard and replaced it with a new tree. Overall, they did an awesome job, and we would highly recommend their services! They efficiently cut down our (very large) old tree, ground the stump, and planted the new tree on the same day. They even ran new drip lines from our existing system to the tree and educated us about how long to water it going forward. The new tree is warrantied by them for the next year, and they have come out a couple of times to give us bottles of fertilizer and to check to make sure it is getting enough water. This really is a great company with nice, helpful, and knowledgeable people!

I cannot comment on how the work was done when they were doing the job as I was on vacation at the time but I am satisfied with the end result and the fact that they were responsive to arrive just prior to the Thanksgiving holiday as there was supposed to be a very bad rainstorm passing through which could have possibly caused the tree to damage our house from the way it was leaning. Ben the Arborist was very knowledgeable and helpful to identify all the possible scenarios with the tree and the best course of action to take for our property. The service overall was a bit pricier than what I had expected to pay but they removed everything including the stump and they had every license and liability protection there is in case anything happened since we live in close quarters to our neighbors in a mobile home park. Overall a good job well done!

We have been using Design Tree for a long time. They did a good job thinning out the tree and cleaning up the yard afterwards. The only issue I had was the cut branches (some were large) were dropped directly onto our delicate plants. If they could find a way to safely drop the larger branches directly down to workers below (either to their hands or in an outstretched tarp), that potentially saves any damage and cost to replace those plants. The workers and management did listen to my concerns, and were willing to help with any out-of-pocket costs on my end, if needed. That was a nice gesture.

I have used Design Tree Maintenance many times over the last 15 years. They trimmed a very large Australian bottle tree on the side of our yard several times. We finally decided to take it down completely and Design tree came in with a professional crew and crane and took it away in pieces while swinging sections of this huge tree over our roof. Clean up was great right down to grinding down the stump. The most recent job was on 2 orange trees in our back yard. They did an excellent job of pruning the orange trees to a manageable size and cleaned everything up perfectly. I would highly recommend Design Tree Maintenance for any of your tree trimming needs!

Wonderful tree trimming company! They have serviced our trees for many years, thanks to the referral by Mark of Snyder's Weed Control. This year, Melvin and his crew did a fabulous job! Came back to trim a little more off of one tree and fixed a leak that had just started. They saw it and fixed it......I didn't even think to ask. DTM does our deep root feeding every year, which greatly improves the health of our trees. Nick does the estimates and he is friendly and a great resource; he tells you what you actually need to have done. I have gotten estimates from 3 companies over the years and DTM is the most reasonable. We really like this company and I am glad to review them!

Their salesman, Zahmari Akers, wrote the contact exactly as we discussed. No fancy sales talk. We walked around the pine tree (which is over 20 ft. in height and just as wide) discussing it's need. Mr. Akers put my request in writing exactly as it was discussed.
Mark, their fertilizer/soil treatment staff does a thorough job. You can always tell when a person takes pride in his work, Mark is one. I'll use this firm again.

Ben came out to address our ash trees. Unfortunately
We had to cut two down. He spoke to me about our watering systems which needed to be addressed. With those two issues at hand Ben suggested a plan.
His team came out and moved drips OUT from under our citrus trees and placed them under the canopy. They then shot organic fertilizer into every tree and shrub. They changed out our watering system box to a HydraWise system! It is absolutely amazing. I can even control it from my phone! Justin has helped me with that when I’ve had questions. He can adjust the system from the computer as well. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when I reached out.

Ben and his crew were very professional and know their stuff. They trimmed our Ash tree last year, and it's never looked better. This year we had them remove a 20yr old mesquite tree, and replaced it with their recommended Chinese Pistache. Our front yard looks amazing! I highly recommend Designing Tree Maintenance.

Hector's crew did a great job of trimming my two trees and cleaning up after the work was done. They have a good eye for trimming and my trees always look great. Design Tree has been exceptional from start to finish! We wanted two large mesquites planted in our front yard and after extensive research, asked for a quote from Design Tree. It was critical to us that we were dealing with certified arborists after disappointing experiences with some so-called landscapers who planted trees too deeply. We met with Nick Thiel, and his communication skills—taking the time to understand what we wanted—and his expertise sealed the deal for us. He arranged for us to check out trees at several nurseries so that we got exactly the specimens we wanted. Although it took some time for us to get scheduled due to the Design Tree workload (good for them!), they arrived precisely at the appointed date and time. The crew, led by Kener, were great. When I had some questions, Kener quickly reached out to Nick, who responded immediately and resolved everything to our satisfaction. Kener has a discerning design eye and made certain our trees were optimally positioned by the crane for each location chosen. Kener and his crew ensured the trees were planted at the correct depth, that they had large irrigation basins, that irrigation emitters were connected and working, and that the trees were fertilized, mulched, and thoroughly watered. The disturbed soil was properly contoured and regraded with crushed granite, making our yard look even better than when they started. Their clean-up was flawless; you would never know they were here were it not for the beautiful new trees in our landscape. Nick and Kener were even able to fit in some restorative pruning for one of our beloved large Museum Palo Verdes that had been hacked up without permission by yet another “landscaper.” We thought all Design Tree did was plant trees, but we learned from Kener that that is just one part of their business, so now we have reached out for a quote on refurbishing our irrigation system.

Love them! This company has trimmed my mesquite trees every year for years, and it always go well. They were able to cut the tree in the backyard without waking up my sleeping toddlers.

They were great and performed a big tree removal for us efficiently and followed up for the stump removal as well! Although there were some obstacles along the way, they communicated and got the job done.

Design Tree a fantastic job. They quoted a good price, were responsive to my questions, and were complete professionals from start to finish.

Don't waste your money! I had them remove a large tree. But they pressured me saying it had to be removed immediately. They charged me double what other companies would. They charged me a lot of money ($6k) for a crane that that said was required, then never used one and never refunded the money. They destroyed my yard watering system. I complained and they sent a guy who thought the answer to fixing crushed pipes was to cap the lines and not have it function - causing my other plants to suffer. Ihad to hire a legit company to fix it - costing me over $1.5k for their destruction. They would only take my calls when I owed them a balance. - Then they processed my final payment without my authorization and refused to return my calls.
There are a lot better companies or there - use them and avoid the headaches and overcharges and lies!!!

I have used DTM for years. Ben is the arborist that I have worked with over the years. He is knowledgeable, professional, and his company always performs. I recently needed a tree removed for major plumbing repairs. As soon as I gave them the green light, they were out here within a day to do the job. Highly recommend this company.

My Tree (an Ash) was woefully in need of a thinning and runing. It is 20 years old and never pruned. Design Tree maintenance did a fantastic jotne tree had grown over into my neighbors back yard They clean up both my yard and my neighbor's and now the tree looks great and grass will grow there again. The staff at Design Tree Maintenance are professional, knowledgeable, easy to use work with. They listened to my needs and preferences for trimming my mature ironwood and palo verde trees and shared their expertise and recommendations. The crew was experienced, worked fast and cleaned up my yard afterwards, including blowing my entry and sidewalk clear of leaves from past wind storms.

Design Tree Maintenance is our preferred company for all of our tree maintenance, removal, and stump grinding needs. We have used them for almost a year now; most recently when we lost a beautiful Saguaro cactus. We highly recommend design tree!

Design tree maintenance root excavated all our trees, extended the wells and added to and extended the drip lines! They were very professional, friendly, not intimidating at all and I felt we got the best service available! I would highly recommend them!

RIP OFF. Paid premium dollar for some tree trimming and sprinkler drip system leaks. Work on ficus trees performed by some random guy who climbs up in the tree and hacks away at it. Not the Arborist I was expecting. Premium dollar for the same service you get from any of those trucks that drive around the valley and do landscaping.
The foreman LEO was in a hurry to get the job cleaned up and did not care that the work was not done as ordered. Rude and Arrogant. They left their own trash on my lawn and backyard.
Could not get the guy - NICK who gave the quote to call me back and multiple attempts.
Way overpriced. Next time Ill go with the less expensive alternative. My neighbors wanted to get a quote for work, as they knew we were having this company out. Don't want my neighbors to use them and will advise them. Will never, ever use or recommend this unprofessional, overpriced company again, don't make the same mistake.

Two crews: trimming and fertilizing. Both came on time and did a good job. I usually cringe when watching someone trimming my trees because I like the natural look and don't want too much taken off. When one trimmer was cutting what I thought was too much, I said something and he listened and quit. However, he did miss a couple of branches I wanted cut, but all in all, they were professional, responsive and left things really clean. Fertilizer was injected in a large pattern under an Ash tree and it is doing well (as is the grass in that area).

Design tree maintenance also improved our irrigation system. They're very prompt professional and easy to work with.

I've used DTM to trim our trees for the past eight years and know them to be a solid organization who delivers what they promise on time and on budget. Ben is a great arborist who genuinely understands our trees and properly scopes our annual treatment and trimming. The crews are efficient and leave our yard in spotless condition.

Hector and his crew worked very hard on a hot and humid day in July, and they did a great job. They even left the yard cleaner than when they arrived.

Tree removal and stump grinding were exceptional. As part of the service we ordered 9 new plants to be planted in our yard. Three (3) of the 9 plants (all Radiant Lantanas) were defective and required an additional 3 trips by the crew to get them replaced. The replacements are thriving now that good one's were planted.

Nick takes the long view on our trees, suggesting enough trimming to keep them healthy, yet still looking great. The crew are on time, polite, adjusting the trimming as they go and as I ask. Then they cleanup nicely. Excellent company!!!

My experience with Design Tree was very professional from the estimate to the clean up after the the job was completed. After seeing several mature trees in my neighborhood being pruned incorrectly that eventually killed the trees, I wanted a certified arborist. I learned the difference between a certified arborist and a certified climber, and that certified arborists by law have to have a ROC #. I had 4 different bids, including supposed certified arborists who were far from it. We have a large Aleppo pine, 25 ornamental citrus that are growing as a privacy wall, along with 4 other medium size trees that were expertly pruned and deep root fertilized. The clean up was very thorough and they even picked up limbs that fell in my neighbor’s yard. I would definitely recommend Design Tree for any of your trees needs.

I went with these guys after a neighbor suggested them to me after getting some basic yard work done.

I have a big tree in a small yard that needs to be removed. They ultimately we unable to help with the tree since it was a very involved job but they did some good work on the shrubs they planted out front.

They do some pretty good work.

First, the cost was more than $1000 less than the nearest estimate. The men were on time. They took down a fifty foot tree in a very efficient manner. They were competent, organized and strong. It was amazing to watch. I would highly recommend them.

These people really work WITH you. They listen to your ideas and offer their knowledge of the area to support or enhance your ideas. They are efficient and clearly communicate their schedule and goals. We have only lived in the area for a year, but we have entrusted landscaping and planting to Design Tree. I am a very satisfied repeat customer of DTM. And their immediate response to an “uh-oh” event reinforces my high regard for them.

After the contracted trim crew had left, I noticed damage to the tile seat of a metal bench under a tree. I called the office. They were very apologetic. The very next day they picked up the bench and tiles, and promised to return it in one week. One week later, to the day, they returned the bench as good as new!

Everytime someone was supposed to be at the house, they were there spot on. In fact the whole project was done 2 weeks before the original expectation. I got home from work the day the pavers were in work and I could not quit grinning. It was beyond what I expected. Bob and his crews are real professionals. From the beginning to the end, everything went without a hitch. I've showed off my new patios and walkway to all my neighbors and they were impressed. I am recommending Bob and Design Tree Maintenance to everyone.

Because we were pleased with Ben and the crew from Design Tree we had them out again a second time, almost a year later, to work on our giant orange tree. Ben was professional and we found the crew to be courteous, leaving our yard in a most acceptable manner.

Price was inline with what the others quoted. I picked this company because they actually came out and looked at the tree (one company just gave me a quote over the phone). They were also ready to schedule. Work was done on time, looked good, and yard was clean when they left.

They were very responsive and got the job scheduled quickly. The arborist explained what they were going to do to my trees and why. The crew showed up on time and did a great job cleaning up after pruning my trees.

I asked for a quote on extensive work I wanted done to our very small backyard. I really liked all ideas and was asked to sign the quote. I wasn't told (didn't ask, either!) why I was signing, I trusted this person and did not question. Later realized that I signed a work order and would be held accountable for $100 or 15% of the quote, whichever was higher! I was very upset, called and spoke to office mgr, Andrew, who said they would not pursue this. (really! How knd) It was because of this that I chose to not go with this company. I sought quotes of 3 other companies and found that the highest quote I received was less than half of the quote from Design Tree. One person said that often quotes are padded so in case plants die or something goes wrong they can fix at no additional cost to them. Very unsettling. I do not think my review will be shown because it is not a glowing one. I had work done before with DT and all went well, a bit pricey, but worth it if I could trust follow up, etc. Turned out that the crane they used crashed into the side of my home, but all damage was repaired within hours and you can't even notice it! So I called them for this work. Live and learn I guess, I just feel kind of sad to be taken advantage of. Other companies even threw in some extras at no charge because I was spending over $5000. ( a good PR move!) anyway no malice intended here just hope that this causes one person to be a little wary when they are attempting to spend a lot of money. My daughters also were planning to use whoever I chose to do work at their homes---much larger scale! Move on, that's all.

This company destroyed and butchered my palm tree and bushes. They never finished the work, followed up with me, or fulfilled what was clearly written on the contract. Furthermore, that didn’t stop them from charging my credit card for the work they haven’t completed. I’ve had to call them 4 times now and still no resolve. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Even more disturbing, they refused to give me their insurance liability company name so I can file a liability claim for damages. AVOID!

Thought our irrigation system wasn't working correctly, so called Design Tree Maintenance (as they installed the system a few years ago) and left a message for Ben. He called back that day and was able to come out the next. He checked the system (which was working) with me and then taught me how to program it correctly for each season. I appreciated the time he spent with me making sure I knew how to run, check and reprogram our system.

We had two palo verde tress infested by beetles. They were looking as if they were going to die. DTM came out, assessed the trees, treated them three times, advise me on proper watering and how to treat the beetle infestation, and pruned them over time. in the course of a little less than a year, the trees are thriving again. Amazing!

The Crew showed up early and did a great job. Very courteous and professional. We will definitely use Design Tree Maintence again in the Future.

Workers did a great job, including clean. There was a minor issue and there was a bit of a communation problem with the office, I blame this on the Covid 19 and the problems it created for small business. No, ifs, and or buts, we'd use these folks again.

They were on time cleaned all the debris before I even knew they were done even my neighbor was surprised so happy to of had them come out the tree was over 18 yrs. old and a branch was ready to fall on the house I just decided to have it taken out it was a mesquite and the leaves were always in the pool and trying to keep the backyard looking nice was very hard. Crooked and dishonest company. Do not give them any of your billing account information. They continue to charge my credit card & don’t answer my phone calls, but they answer if I call from a different number! I had to get my banks fraud department involved in getting my money back.

We have used Design Tree for as many as 10 years. Bob, Ben, Leo, Andrew and Philip are exceptional. I would have NO ONE else in our yard !!!!!! I can't believe they have only three stars in their reviews. They deserve 10, but I can't do that!

Unprofessional lazy work! They created more mess than they were hired to clean up. I hired them to clean up my yards and cut down a dead tree. Instead of bringing trash cans to move the dead tree to their trucks, they dragged the tree across my yard leaving branches and twigs all over. Only handpicking these heavy twigs is the option for clean up.

Company is clearly corrupt. They too continued to charge me and when I got my bank involved, they never responded to my bank and I had to wait 3 months for the investigation process to get my money back.

Right on schedule. Had the tree down amazingly quickly. Left the area clean and followed up with stump removal 10 days later. Very professional job.

I had 5 large trees that were becoming overgrown in my yard. They came out on time, completed the job, were friendly and professional. I need one of my trees taken out, so I will be calling them to come back out very soon.

This winter, DTM came out to do a full relandscaping and wall build. When my husband noticed the wall was four inches off from the east to the west, we called the crew and was told they would NOT rebuild the wall. No way, no how unless we paid for it. What? DTM came up with a solution of stucco-ing the wall to make it level on the top. But only the one wall would they cover the charges. If we wanted all four sides stuccoed then we would have to foot the bill. WHAT? After several non apologetic conversations and general disinterest from DTM, we settled on an agreement. Sigh, what a nightmare.
Now, the drip system they set up is leaking. Will they come out and fix it? Without hassle? We'll see. It's unlikely.
