BJ's Landscaping LLC - Lawn Care Maintenance Phoenix

Property Management hired them and just one guy showed up after Mondays storm. When he saw the tree he said he quoted too little and needed to negotiate a new estimate. Even though they initially underestimated the job, Mike was great, He never was the issue. He got hurt and took care of himself like he should. He called me the next day apologizing profusely that he was yelled at due to the initial review. Apparently the person he reported himself sick to was on leave and manager called me later that they figured out that was the reason. As stated Mike was not the issue. HR dropped the ball. Mike really took responsibility. He came across like a professional. That aside they released a 3 man crew after and it took them 6 hours after the work Mike had put in last Tuesday. The job is mostly done and Michael is getting stump killer on it as promised. The only issue left is that they didn't go into my neighbors yard to haul the branches, but tried to pull them over the brick wall, she did allow them into her yard from her house. All the cinder blocks are still missing, I'll address that with property management as the neighbors side is still a mess.
Which we noticed later in the evening. Management asked if I would update the review. All actual laborers have been great.
Miscommunication happens, but always value your employees. Your employees are you business and they can go somewhere else, just like customers.

1) Was charged double fee for 1st time service for additional work. Only worked 40 minutes for $150 and never made over charge right.
2) Was never asked about over seeding so we requested over seeding for winter lawn 2 weeks ago and was told owner would make contact. Still have not heard back.
3) Was told irrigation would be addressed as part of initial visit. Find out only sprinklers system timer is checked as part of service. Sprinkler timer was still too much as flooding in areas continued.
4) We have hired an outside company to investigate leak. 3 Sprinkler heads were broken and one section of sprinkler system was timed too long as it was flooding the area as per licensed contractor.
5) Every other week service was rescheduled by one to three days.

This company was certainly not above or beyond nor did they deliver on promised service.

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from the team at BJ’s. They were on time, so friendly, and did a great job cleaning up my overgrown monsoon mess of a yard. I was referred by a friend and I would confidently recommend them to anyone. Book with BJ’s, you will not be disappointed.

I worked out a deal the BJs landscaping to come and do an initial clean up of my house and then scheduled bi weekly maintenance. They arrived on time and did a great job. My yard was a night day difference.

The team who came to my house was really great! They asked me exactly what work I needed done, and got right to it. I didn’t have all of the plants that I wanted them to install, so instead they trimmed a tree for me. The foreman answered my questions about caring for what they planted and he was nice enough to re-set our irrigation system. They cleaned up the yard and you’d have never guessed that anyone was here! I was very impressed with BJ’s Landscaping and we will definitely be using them again for our landscaping needs.

We are so excited with BJ’s Landscaping and the work they did for our home! The guys were incredibly professional and made our yard look amazing going into the holiday season. One of the most unprofessional services I’ve ever worked with. Even as a regular customer, appointments are constantly missed and then they pop up on a different day with zero notice. That’s only if they even manage to show up at all, working with a landscaping company shouldn’t be so difficult. I can only speak on my experience, but if you’re looking for reliability then check elsewhere

I had my front yard done because my HOA had send me a complaint. And let me just say, they won't be complaining anymore! BJ's Landscaping did a wonderful job on my little front yard and cleaned it up to precision. From all my weeds gone, to my shrubs being cleaned up, and down to my rocks not having dead leaves around them. Ben and his team at BJ's landscaping did a great job and I will definitely continue to use them for my lawn care needs.

BJ’s is the best around! Great pricing, super easy to get a quote, and exceptional service! My front yard was a disaster before and BJ’s crew came in and made it look incredible. Love the appointment portal, knowing who is going to show up, and their customer service. Would definitely recommend for any landscaping needs!

BJ landscaping contracted out a team to do my whole yard landscaping. The price was a bit high and the service was mediocre. The team left weeds all over my yard, tried to upsell me on an irrigation system, and left within an hour of showing up. I called BJ's and asked them to come back to get the rest of the weeds and they said they would look into their schedule to resend a team.

I still haven't heard back and I don't expect to since they'll likely wait until the next month when they're scheduled to come back. Not a great operating model for running a business.

I'm extremely happy with my service from B.J's Landscaping. They do an excellent job on my yard. Orlando is very courteous and does a great job.
Since using them, I have gotten so many compliments on my yard. In fact, a friend of mine said she think my yard is the showpiece of the neighborhood.

Ben and Orlando and team were thorough and kind, and responsive to us if we needed anything. They did great work and we would recommend them. Easy to work with and pay online, no hurdles to get set up with service. Good price for the work done.

I have a pretty simple yard but BJ’s crew was proactive in letting me know about an irrigation leak and gave me a fair quote to get the plants proper water in my backyard. Great worry free service too. The BJ crew text me when they were on the way so I can put my dogs in and the text invoicing is great too!

I've only been with BJ's a short time, but am very satisfied to date. I fired the last company because they were so unreliable. During the summer, they didn't show up for a month at a time. BJ has been on schedule and his crews have done excellent work thus far. I rate them 5 stars now, and will provide an update after more time with them.

Sergio came 8/23/22 was super fast the order was for the 24th but I called in and let them know it was flooding the street they came within hours he was very knowledgeable and fixed the issue also letting me know through text what happened what he did and where the valve was ! Great company and employee very satisfied ❤️

They did an excellent job cleaning up my very overgrown yard. Due to weather they had to push my scheduled service back one day but were excellent at communication and it was no problem at all. Glad to find a landscaper who actually shows up! Also love that I can pay online.

We used BJ's landscaping for awhile. They were always on-time, always responsive whenever we had to contact them, and comparably priced to other services. Due to unforeseen financial circumstances, we had to put their services on hold for now. But, as soon as we're ready to start with a landscaping service again, we'll definitely be going back to BJ's.

When I was looking for a new landscaping/yard maintenance service, BJ’s was the only one who stepped up and called me to talk to me about what I needed. They listened to what my concerns were regarding the needs for my yard. Jose and his crew came out and took care of my yard and it came out beautifully!! Been dealing with this company for a week now. We seen the character of the company in the past 2 days. Very disappointed in the service after agreeing to let them come out after having our appointment pushed back not once not twice but three times and then asked to reschedule for the next morning. Upon receiving a text at 6:51 AM this morning stating they were on the property and ready to do work. Was hesitant but allowed as my disabled veteran uncle had passed and trying to upkeep his property. I was advised that they would charge me $65 and do a clean up for free. This was not the case the individual stated they were at the property for over 2 hours which is not true as I checked up on them 2 times . While the tree was trimmed they did not do a proper clean up. Ended up paid a bill over $100. Needless to say the contract was terminated.

Great service! They have done a professional job each week. Last week, we had our palms trimmed. They not only did a good job trimming but cleaning up afterwards.

Their communication is clear and helpful, as well as how they process payments.

It took about 4-5 different landscaping companies before I found a reliable one. They ALWAYS show up when they say they will, they do a fabulous job, and make it super easy to schedule and pay. I have been more than happy with BJs landscaping and I'm sure my neighbors are happy that I'm no longer the ugly yard house :)

Carlos came out to fix a couple leaks in my irrigation system & after fixing those that I knew of, he also found & fixed 3 more that were evident after the original leaks were fixed. He also evaluated My system and determined why the leaks kept appearing. Definitely went above & beyond! If I ever Need additional service in the future, I definitely will be calling BJ’s...and requesting Carlos!

BJ’s trimmed my bushes well. Very professional and manicured. My bushes looks better than ever. There was open communication with their admin person and the guys showed up on time like I asked.

I scheduled an estimate where the person requested to cancel the appointment, but not until it was 5 minutes before they were to show up. I rescheduled for the following Saturday which ended in a no show with no response from the number that was being used for messaging. I’m sure this may not normal, but this was my experience.

The best service I have had from a landscaping company in 30 years! They are always on time, fix things without having to be told, and always follow up to make sure our home is in tip top shape. 1000% recommend!!

We checked these guys out for our desert style yard that only has a few blue palo verdes and some shrubs, but needed some TLC. There’s a ton of options for landscapers in Phoenix obviously but these guys were quick, courteous, and professional. Give em a shot!
