Chaos. Horrifying Communication. Not worth it.

We hired this company for a small townhome Reno: floors, bathrooms. They quoted us one of the cheaper prices from about 8 other bids- I would’ve paid more knowing what I know now, and what we’ve been through.

Chaos started right away with not starting on the promised date, pushing it back 3 weeks, then 5. The people that work at Atomic that we were trying to communicate with on this simple project kept changing! Everyone saying they would be our point person, and they would never follow through! Finally got in touch with the owner, promised us he would make it right, promised us he wouldn’t charge us for anything outside the quote, never ended up following through on anything- and he himself was a challenge! He is super confrontational, even talking poorly about his workers, managers and admin staff, blaming them for all the miscommunication. Pure insanity. When they did start, there were days they didn’t show up, missed the finish date, even installed the wrong tile on the shower floors! The attitude was like “well I didn’t know”- I again asked for them to make it right somehow and pretend like our money meant something- the owner kept saying “stop trying to profit off of chaos” (???) and “we’ll we are not Home Depot” (we aren’t either). The company that they hire to do the actual work, Hector and his crew, we’re cool when they did show up, but they never had any idea what was going on either.

We are in escrow with another property and we did not hire them for the Reno on that project. I do not recommend this company at all. IF YOU DO HIRE THEM- GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING FROM THE START! We were green, and trusted what all the folks from Atomic were saying, which was very different every time we spoke. The owner denied what he had promised. It was insane. We even contacted a lawyer because it was so bananas what was going on. Greatest part was paying the bill and being rid of these people, the chaos, stress and bad energy- and sadly, not the Reno :(

Rachel and Heath were amazing to work with. From the initial call to the final completion of my beautiful floor, they were so helpful and professional. Rachel searched for the exact flooring that I wanted even though they didn't carry it and Heath installed it flawlessly! They are both great to work with and very friendly and kind. Called and asked for a quote to sand and refinish. Asked him to bring color samples. He said he would show us samples when he had a signed contract and a deposit. I questioned why I couldn't see color samples prior to signing a contract and giving him money. He replied if I didn't like that then his company was not the one for me. WOW, unelievable

We were very happy with the entire process. Great communication, fair prices, quality work, showed up exactly when they said they would. Happy to recommend them!

Tony and his team did our first floor tile and we are so impressed! Working with him was great, he was easy to communicate with, quick response to any questions we had. Audrey from Home Solutionz contacted me about a master bath remodel that we had been looking to do for the last two years, I told her I wanted to make sure they were going to manage this project and all the work could be taken care of BEFORE WE STARTED and she indicated that she had all the subcontractors lined up. We delayed agreeing until she promised to get all the vendors together to go over the work before the project started to make sure there were no issues with the various work that was scheduled. That never happened, even after the project was delayed by a week ONE HOUR before they were supposed to start. She only showed up on the first day work started (the day the project was fully paid for) and never returned and only finally texted me after everything was supposed to be done, never called to see how the project was going while it was happening. I ended up managing everything. One of the subcontractors for the drywall and glass block work only showed up a week after the project started and then never actually submitted a quote, so I have to go out and find other contractors to finish the work so I can actually USE my bathroom, and it wasn’t available for guests this thanksgiving, that was fun.

The actual tile work that Martin and his father did is excellent. The plumbing work by Freddy of AC by Jay was also good, so the subcontractors were great. That was the only thing Audrey was correct about. I’d hire the subcontractors again and refer them to others, so that is the only thing Home Solutionz actually accomplished. We canceled part of the install, yet that part of the job was never refunded and we have been charged the full amount, although a couple of extra $10 trimpieces did need to be added on, so I guess that equals out, NOT, but they wouldn’t know about it because nobody from Home Solutions even bothered to talk to me after they had charged my Credit Card.

So IF you want to pay a middleman who never actually does anything other than put you in contact with subcontractors who aren’t big enough to have advertising budgets, go ahead and hire Home Solutionz. I did receive one text from the Briana, the project manager, only that it was being delayed by a week exactly ONE HOUR prior to starting and after I had received several scheduling emails and texts confirming that work was going to be started on that Monday morning. Otherwise, I was inundated only with emails from this company requesting referrals for a $100 kickback from the company. I won’t be using Home Solutionz again and I doubt I’d ever recommend them or whoever Paul Turpin is.

They installed laminate flooring throughout the house. Did an excellent job, showed up when they promised they would, and cleaned up after the work. Everybody was courteous and pleasant to deal with. Great company.

This company stands by their installation & product. The customer service is excellent. Questions were addressed immediately. The product installed is of beautiful quality. I would not hesitate to go with this company again in the future. I recommend 100%.

I had first chosen Express Floors after attending the Arizona Home and Garden Show out at Cardinal Stadium. After doing further research I had concerns with all the complaints Express Flooring had on the BBB website. I made some calls had other contractors come out and after meeting Heath and discussing what we wanted to do we decided and felt more comfortable using AAA Hardwood.
The professionalism, speed, and courteousness of the team that performed the work was impressive. I would recommend using AAA Hardwood.

At first, it seemed like I was getting a good job, for a steep price, which I did not mind. The job was completed. Jim's workers were pleasant but they did not do the job properly. They also did not do what they had promised to complete. There were portions of the floor that were just awful and you could see the sanding circles. Also, they were suppose to leave me a pint of the concocted color ( which was a blend of other colors) they did not. I have called twice and Jim has not returned my calls. I would suggest to go elsewhere. Thank you

I researched several options for a dustless system to remove old tile and all roads lead to Arizona Home Floors.

From the very beginning there was a consistent effort and attention to detail by all of the staff. From the measurements to the actual job they operate at higher level. I had 1,100 feet of tile removed and it was done by noon and amazingly I did not see a spec of dust. I have managed teams for over 30 years that are tasked to deliver exceptional customer service and job performance... so I know it when I see it. You will pay a bit more, but it is well worth it.
