We were very satisfied with Desert King Windows from the estimate by Frank Johnson to the install by Christopher Garcia and Mikel. They covered all areas; installed new windows carefully and professionally; and cleaned up after the job was completed.

From my meeting with Dan (sales rep) through the scheduling and install
all went smoothly. I have installed 3 sliding patio doors. All are excellent
in style and function. The installers went beyond the basics to
make sure I was happy. Considering all that goes into purchasing
new windows and doors I do not think you can beat Energy Shield
for price, product and service.

I ordered seven windows in October, with a 16 week lead time. Well They are installed in less than 12 weeks. Crew that showed up to install we completely professional, Windows are exactly as ordered, installed perfectly and everything is cleaned up. This has been fantastic experience I would highly recommend this company.

Excellent service at a fair price

I would avoid this business at all costs. My experience consisted of the following:

- The salesperson, Tom, lied about the order deadline and delivery time. He said that if I placed my order on a Monday or Tuesday they would have my three windows by the following Monday or Tuesday. The order was placed midday Tuesday. Tom emailed a week later, when I was expecting to receive the windows, saying that I had not supplied payment for the deposit by the deadline. He first lied saying the deposit was paid a day later than it actually was. I told him to check the dates on our email thread, at which point he said he was new and didn’t know when the manufacturer’s deadline was. Not until I repeatedly expressed my dissatisfaction was any type of apology provided. The result was that my order would not arrive until the following Thursday, so it went from a week for delivery to three weeks.

- The rep from the window manufacturer contacted me later to inform me that the order had arrived, but Tom had placed it for the wrong windows. This resulted in a new order having to be placed, which of course delayed delivery another week.

- I was under the impression that I was paying a 50% deposit, and that the remainder would be collected upon delivery of the order. I was actually charged the full amount AND the salesperson Tom failed to add tax to the original quote. Calculating tax and adding it to a quote seems pretty elementary, and it’s fundamental in managing customer expectations. This is apparently not practiced at Freelite, though.

Perhaps they have just one dishonest and incompetent salesperson. Regardless, these types of business practices should absolutely not be supported.

Will never do business with them again and, of course, would never recommend them.

Jason with Econ Windows have gone above and beyond making sure that all of my expectations have been met for my new windows. He took the time to explain each product's pros and cons and made sure I made an educated decision on what product would serve my condo's needs. My homebuilder uses them to install bathroom mirrors and accessories (towel rods, toilet paper holders, etc). They weren't able to install them prior to us closing on the home and it's been a nightmare getting them to come back. First time they came the master bath mirror was cut wrong so they couldn't install. One of the installation crew stole my neighbors dog that day and refused to admit it until he was told there was video evidence of it. He left to bring the dog back and then they haven't been back.. no showing 3 appointments (12-4pm windows) now with no apology or call to reschedule. I called to verify they were coming today and was told yes but again - no show. Save yourself a headache and avoid this company!

The craftsmanship of our windows is outstanding and the installation was impeccable. The finished product definitely increased the value of our home, we are truly amazed. We highly recommended these windows!

They came out to give us ideas on a custom barn door at the bottom of my stairway. They provided a design, 2 estimates and hardware options. The project was installed and we couldn't be happier.
