I obtained 5 estimates before choosing Desert King. Of the estimates theirs was right in the middle. I was very impressed with the initial home presentation of their product & they even came a 2nd time to resolve some questions I had, which I appreciated. Jonathan was in charge of my install & everything was perfect. He & his helper arrived on time & worked non stop to install my windows. There was absolutely NO MESS after they were done. My window areas were cleaner after they left than before they came. I would recommend Desert King to anyone seeking window replacement. I absolutely LOVE my new windows! Thank you, Desert King.

Good overall experience. Koby my salesman did a great job explaining the process. The windows are great quality and came in early. Install was good even thou someone left their boot print on the screen of the window which is kinda annoying when I paid almost 10 grand for everything. I purchased a set of French doors and four windows pricing was fair.

Back in January we decided to check into having our 23 year old windows replaced. We had 3 companies come out and give us quotes.
Desert King Windows was by far the most pleasant experience. The salesman, Koby, was friendly and knowledgeable. He answered our questions and gave us information that helped us make our choice to go with Desert King Windows. He even returned a second time when we had more questions!
Based on our 3 quotes, we knew that it was going to be at least 4 months before we would have the new windows installed. That is a long time, but obviously out of anyone's control.
Once the windows arrived, the install was scheduled. In two days time, we have beautiful new windows! The crew that was sent out were very pleasant and hard working. We appreciate, Chris, Giselle, and Giovani, for the time and effort that was put into replacing our windows.

We received 3 quotes a year ago to replace all 15 windows and our sliding glass door. Desert King was one of them. Frank, the salesman, is extremely educated. The initial consultation was a little lengthy, but it was a big project and investment. Frank was not pushy at all.

When we followed up with him almost a year later, they honored our pricing, though the cost of materials has clearly increased. The product came a full month before we expected and installation was scheduled the very next week.

The installers worked three 5-6 hour days. I think our home could have been easily done in 2 days had they worked longer hours. I’m assuming they had other jobs. They were professional, worked clean, and communicated effectively. I do wish someone would have walked the house with us upon completion so we could all align on the the finished product.

We have noticed a significant reduction in noise and dust. We can also keep our shutters open now without the inside heating up. Our sliding glass door screen is back ordered, but everything else is in and looks amazing! I would highly recommend this company for the the quality and the price.

I looked at a few different window companies as I have a home that needed 8 new windows. I needed good, solid windows at a reasonable cost. Wow! I got that plus more! From the first visit, the folks at Desert King Windows were awesome! They weren't pushy sales people, they explained their windows features and benefits and I was shocked at how much we got for the price compared to others. CUSTOMER SERVICE US NOT DEAD at Desert King Windows. I want to truly thank Jayson, president of Desert King Windows for helping resolve an install issue that took place back on the 1st of June. The crew that was sent out to install our 7 windows ran into a major issue and I needed immediate attention by Desert King Windows. Who calls me but the owner of the company. When does that ever happen? Let alone someone who cares and with knowledge to solve the problem, ever calls you back. Jayson resolved the situation with that crew and sent out a new crew first thing the next morning. All windows installed correctly by noon, AND WE LOVE THEM. Jayson even helped us with the overall price and graciously waited for payments when we were ready to pay in full. The windows have placed the 3 front rooms back in enjoyable comfort for the first time in 10+ years. I can't say enough about Jayson and his help resolving a difficult beginning. We had every single window in our home replaced (24) by Desert King. We had bids from Anderson and Pella and am extremely happy we chose Desert King. From start to finish this has been a pleasant experience, from Frank who gave us the bid to the installers Jose, Alonso, and Franz. The installers were OUTSTANDING, courteous, professional, on time, and all-round nice gentlemen. James or Jason if you're reading this they deserve a raise. The windows are high quality, sturdy and are beautiful when installed. You won't be disappointed if you choose this vendor/contractor. Very, very pleased.

We just had our windows installed yesterday and their service was excellent. The crew, Jose, Alonzo, and on the last day Gabriel were on time, very polite, and very professional. They were careful to cover everything inside the room they were working on and they never stopped moving. They even helped move furniture and remove existing blinds. They cleaned up after each room, sweeping floors and removing the plastic covers from the furniture. Of course, the installation turned out to be on the hottest day of the year, so we supplied some Gatorade. Didn't want anyone passing out! They were in the sun and the heat all day.
Would definitely recommend Desert King. From the first person that showed up to give us a quote to the installers, everything was perfect.

We had 4 windows replaced and a patio door. Rain delayed our installation but Christopher was willing to work on Sunday to get our windows in. He had a coworker call off so was short a person for the job. He was able to complete the job with just him and Mellisa. They were very professional and did a great job cleaning up. Love my windows. After reseaching many companies, and meeting with several, we chose to use Desert King to replace our old windows from the 70s. They were not the cheapest, however we decided to go with them because they are family owned, had good reviews, use their own installers, and we really like the salesman. Chris and his team were courtious, timely, neat, and did a great job. They worked around a rarity, rain in Phoenix and still finished when they said they would. I will definetly recommend them to family and friends.

The quality of their product (installed two exterior French doors) is mediocre at best; their workmanship is poor (improper installation of wood trim that warped and other issues); and their follow up for repairs and customer service is atrocious. Over seven months I could not get them to come out and repair some broken glass in one of my doors in spite of several calls. This was a huge purchasing mistake on my part! After only 5 + years, I am getting rid of the doors that they installed. I would strongly discourage anyone from having Desert King Windows do work for you.

We were very satisfied with Desert King Windows from the estimate by Frank Johnson to the install by Christopher Garcia and Mikel. They covered all areas; installed new windows carefully and professionally; and cleaned up after the job was completed.

Desert King was perfect from our quote to installation. We had very old single pane, aluminum frame 80's windows that allowed in a lot of noise and dust. They helped make a couple suggestions like adding a picture window instead which turned out phenomenal and better than we'd imagined. Installers, Nick and Cooper were also incredible. Very experienced, thorough and were even able to work around the additional pool construction we had going on at the same time. Very very pleased!! Thank you!

I had 10 windows replaced and 3 french doors (changed to custom sliding glass doors). Daniel Gordon came out and educated me on the benefits of dual pane windows for heat, UV and sound protection. James came to my house and spent hours getting accurate measurements for my house and answering my questions. The installation team was excellent. They explained what they would be doing over the next three days. They covered all of the furniture, removed and re-installed the wood blinds and left my house cleaner that it was when they started! They were very nice in getting a broken window repaired. Because of delays in the delivery chain due to no fault on their part, they finally were able to replace the broken window with a new one at no charge. The repairmen were also courteous. Professional and decent business.

Due to Covid delays my windows were delayed beyond when I would be at my home for installation. From my summer home we were able to schedule the installation, solve minor problems that occurred finish the project it's cleanup and rehang the woven woods that needed to be taken down for install. James and his install team were courteous responsive and with a little help from family and friends we were able to complete the project. Hats off to an overall great experience. I have not seen my windows in person yet but but look forward to that when I return in late October. I got quotes from four companies. Desert King was neither cheapest not most expensive, but when comparing window and door quality was clearly highest value.

The salespeople and installation crew were both easy to work with. The salesman was the lowest pressure of the quotes. He showed up on time. They were the last to quote and he took a minute to figure out what my understanding of window lingo was, so I didn't have to listen to a repeat of the entire education portion of the sales pitch that I had heard multiple times before. He focused on explaining differences of their product and it felt more like a discussion than a lecture.

We had a window-to-door conversion, two patio doors, and four windows installed. Kenny and Caesar took a lot of pride in getting things just right. We work from home during the day and they helped us plan where we could be by laying out their schedule and sticking to it. Installation took 2.5 days.

The product quality is great. We upgraded from 1970s single pane windows and standard patio doors. The house stays cooler longer in the mornings. The western exposure bedroom that used to be a sauna every afternoon remains comfortable.

Our salesman Jim was fantastic. No pressure, just knowledgeable and professional. The installation was smooth and on time. We had to have a window replaced and Mike was great, so professional and customer service centered. I highly recommend Desert King!

After calling Window World of Phoenix and being EXTREMELY disappointed in their customer relations, we decided to start calling around to other window companies for quotes on windows for our entire house. Desert King Windows was the second company we called and knew right away we didn’t have to call anywhere else. They were very easy to schedule having someone come out to our house for a quote. Not only did he spend three hours explaining their products so we understood them, but he also demonstrated how 400+ degrees on the out side of the window feels on the inside, it wasn’t even close-it was incredible! We got a price THAT DAY before he left our home. And they stuck to it. They finished the job in a day and were extremely courteous by covering furniture and vacuuming before leaving. The installers David and Donovan were fantastic! Very Professional and make a great team. The install was smooth and they were more than happy to help move things inside away from the windows as needed. We have plantation shutters and they were able to install without removing them - which was a huge bonus (some companies require you to have a third party remove the shutters during install and that can cost a bunch$$$ - and they never quite go back on perfectly). The new windows are spotless and Very happy with the install.

From the very beginning, I could tell I was working with a company that knows what they're doing. James, the sales rep, spent no more than 45 min showing me the product, quoting me the price, and answering any and all of my questions. I can't stress enough the importance of time these days, and I really appreciated James cutting right to the points and leaving out all unnecessary fluff. With the other 2 quotes I received, I spent no less than 90 minutes, which I felt was way too long. The best part about it, James quote came in nearly 2k less than the next competitor, and over 8k less than the other! WOW!

After choosing to go with Desert King, I was impressed by their frequent updates and communication. Each person involved, from the fitter/measurer to the install crew was on-time and gave me plenty of notice prior to their arrival. Thank you! When there was an issue with one of my windows not passing Desert King's inspection, they notified me immediately and actually got another window sent faster than I anticipated! Score!

Kenny and his associate arrived at 9:15 am (I was told between 9-11am the day of install), which was perfect, to install the windows. They were super nice, respectful of my home, and did a great job installing AND cleaning up afterwards. Very professional and a pleasure to work with.

For me it all started with my needing to have a doggie door. I came across Desert King Windows sliding glass door with a custom built in dog door. When I saw the quality of the door, I knew I had to try them for their windows. As of right now I have already replaced 8 windows in my house and I have yet to replace at least 4 more. I am impressed! The rooms where i have replaced the windows are always cool and fresh, whereas the two bedrooms where I still have my old windows are so hot. The difference is night and day! These windows really do their job. In addition, the personal attention that I have received from every one of the staff members of Desert King Windows is outstanding. I am so grateful and strongly recommend them.

Desert King Windows just finished installing 27 windows and 2 doors on our home. We would hire them again. We went from original, builder grade windows that were leaky, and hot to windows that are solid, cooling, and eliminated so much outside noise. From sales through installation and follow-up they are a dependable, professional team. Everything was ordered, and installed per their timeline and under the initial estimate. Replacing windows - don't pull the trigger until you talk to Desert King.

The guys that came out to install my new windows and sliding doors did a great job! Finished all 3 sliding doors and two upstairs windows in one day! They were friendly and hard working! Not only did they face a challenge due to finding out that the previous windows were installed very poorly and only stuck on to the stucco of the home! They also took the time to show and explain what they had discovered and took the extra time to install the new windows correctly! They all look and work beautifully! These guys were awesome! We just had our windows replaced today and they are gorgeous! The guys came when they said, covered everything and vacuumed up. They finished all the caulking so the windows just blend in beautifully! We had bad experiences with other companies not showing up and Desert King came when we asked, gave us the complete quote at that time and scheduled our install at our convenience. We got some ridiculously high prices from other companies and Desert King came in within our budget. Good price for the quality.

Jerry the salesman was very knowledgeable and explained everything. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything and initially we didn’t. Installation was important to us. Jerry and Brian did a beautiful job. They showed us two options for installing the windows into our stucco openings. There was very little stucco repairs needed and little painting touch up needed. It is stunning how much these windows have reduced the heat coming into our house. Very happy with everything.

Desert King did a good job of installing windows. They were prompt in sales, measuring, and delivery of the windows. However, they were late every day of the install and I was quoted two days for the install and it took five days. They were scheduled to start at 7:00-8:00 am and did not arrive until 10:30 on the first day. Second day said they would start at 6:30 and showed up at 8:30 and went home by 3:30. That were on time the third and fourth days. Quality install and cleanup just not as timely as expected.

We selected Desert King to update the windows in our home. There were some specialty windows that were required, a garden window (pops out like a greenhouse) and several architectural windows with angles. (Some companies that bid did not/would not do these specialty windows.) Desert King had no problems getting them.

The product is very high quality and the installation crew led by James did not rush the install, he made sure all was done properly for the long term. I am very pleased.

We had all our windows replaced, plus our slider. I looked into solar a few times and the numbers just don't add up. I do not see the ROI. I spoke with a real estate agent and she stated that new windows are also a better selling point than solar(not that we are going to sell anytime soon). After my last few quotes, we decided to look into windows. We had Desert King come out and discuss. We decided to go ahead and signed contract. Our home was built in 2004, and let's face it, the developer uses the cheapest material possible. We had many windows that were stained on the inside, which means the seals were broken and they were no longer energy efficient(if they ever were in the first place). So, who knows how much cold air was leaking out or how much hot air was coming in? Our new windows(Amerimax) are great. We have noticed an average of a 25% reduction in energy usage, sometimes up to 37%, and that's after only 2 months. We also noticed a huge reduction in outside noise. Plus, they look great. It really helps to bring natural light and clarity to each and every room. When standing inside looking out, you can't tell that there's a window there. I was concerned that someone might hurt themselves on the slider now that its so clean and clear, so we put a decorative decal to let them know the slider is closed. If i had to do it again, I would, without hesitation.

Amazing! Three weeks ago, we had all of our windows and French door replaced by Desert King. Our master bath and bedroom take direct sun all day and for 20 years we’ve kept the plantation shutters closed to keep the heat out, but not anymore. The “Renewal” company we also had out suggested we fill in one of our bedroom windows to reduce the heat and cost! Everyone that we dealt with at Desert King from Jayson the Owner, Daniel our Sales Rep, James the Project Manager who came out to measured everything answer all my install questions and kept us informed when the install would be, to Landon and Jeffery who did the installation, were all professional, caring and informative.

Our install crew, led by Jerry, arrived on time as promised. They took every precaution to cover and protect our furniture and our install went as planned but we did have a setback when our sliding patio door , which was not part of the install, was inadvertently shattered. One of the owners, Jayson, contacted me immediately and was quick to apologize and offer a remedy. The window install looks amazing and now I'm looking forward to our new patio door installation. The broken door proved DKW cares about their customers and will do whatever it takes to EARN your business. A great start to a healthy relationship here and would recommend DKW to everyone.

I shopped around to replace our windows they provided the best product for the best price. Plus - they don't jump the frame - they remove it so you don't end up with a huge thick border around your windows. Exactly what I wanted. And they were super clean -- they left the house cleaner then when they arrived. I'm just so glad I found them and got the quote. They did an EXCELLENT job.

We had 6 upstairs windows replaced. They just installed today. When we initially set out to get this project done ultimately we had four quotes desert king being one. They weren't the cheapest and weren't the most expensive but their install method is what sold me plus the warranty and overall sales experience. When Daniel came to give a quote he was polite and professional, listened to what we wanted and showed us what they offered and what would be best for us. He answered all of our questions in a timely manner and wasn't pushy at all just gave us a total and told us to let him know if and when we were ready. The fact that they dont retrofit (install over the existing frame) like the others do is what made me choose them. I wanted my windows to look like they had always been there. Now due to covid which is affecting everything it did take a while for the windows to arrive but that was expected and all throughout they kept us informed we weren't left in the dark. Today was the install and the installers were on time and very professional. The greeted me and told me their names then asked me where they were installing. After showing them they got right to work, the covered up everything to protect our items, kept everything super clean during and after. Ultimately we made the right choice i definitely recommend this company.

Landon, Cooper, and Justin were amazing! They knew their job, and jumped right in and were professional. They were also funny, and friendly. They were prompt, and got our 17 windows installed in 2 days. A great experiencefrom start to finish. I would most definitely recommend this company to anyone.

Daniel (sales) was very informative without being pushy. David and Zach (installers) did a great job installing the windows. Install process was very important to us, and Desert King really did a great job. There are lots of great windows out there, but Desert King provided a great value of quality windows with great install without breaking the bank.

I initially gave a 5 star review, but feel it’s necessary to downgrade that, maybe to a 2-1/2 or 3. We had 13 windows & a patio door installed about 6 weeks ago. A couple of issues have cropped up with the new windows & door. I’m not impressed with their “great, quality”customer service that was talked up by the salesman. I know that everyone is busy these days, but if you’re so busy that you can’t respond to your customers, maybe it’s time to take on & train some new hires. Also think they should contact the window manufacturer & recommend some new quality control people.

We purchased a 20 year old home in north Scottsdale in Sept. the windows were all in need of replacement. We called Desert King and made an appointment. Jim P. Came out on time . He made a very thorough presentation, was not pushy at all. He gave us a very fair estimate to replace all our windows including a sliding door. We replaced all the windows over a 5 month period. James who was in charge of measuring and scheduling was a pleasure to deal with. All three crews were hardworking and cleaned up afterwards. We had an issue with one of the larger windows and James had someone out to reinstall it with no issues. All in all we are very satisfied with this company. And would recommend them without hesitation. Oh and they didn't charge a dime until after the windows were installed and we were satisfied.

Great service through the purchase. The real test was the time it took to get them and the installation. I believe the windows actually arrived about two weeks early. The two guys that did the install (I think David & Donovan) very, very professional. We have 3 large dogs they worked around what we needed to do with them. They tore out old and install 7 windows and other than having new windows you can't tell they had been here and did it in about 5 hours

Overall, have had a great experience with Jayson and his team. Jim showed up promptly for the initial estimate. They had comparable product without the big price plus financing option. We were able to break up the order to spread costs (26 total windows) and we have one section left to complete. The install team has been very professional as well. We love our new windows. We were able to remove sunscreens and the home is brighter year round. We have noticed an improved AC bill as well.

After interviewing 4 other window sales companies, some of whom were less that forthcoming about the actual language in their warranties, and one of whom was pretty much outright deceitful, it was a relief to meet Daniel, the Desert King sales rep. Daniel has been in the windows business for quite a while and he could show me, the warranties of not only Desert King Windows, but of all the other companies that I had already interviewed. It was a totally straightforward process and I was relieved that I'd finally found a company that I could put my faith in.

We had 26 windows installed last week. The installers were working here for 3 1/2 days and they did a great job. They tarped every room they worked in and vacuumed after they were through, but dust from cutting through stucco is every bit as bad as dust from cutting drywall, so expect to have dust after the job is finished, it's really impossible to control 100%.

The windows were the Amerimax Craftsman Series and they are beautiful. Insulation from exterior noise and the ever present Arizona dust is top notch plus there's a big increase in privacy because, at least in the daytime, it's very hard to see through the double-pane glass into the interior of the house. If you Google Amerimax windows, you will pretty much see nothing but praise for them.

As you can probably tell, we are very happy with our experience with Desert King Windows and we can highly recommend them.

I was VERY impressed with the QUALITY and NOT paying more to achieve the same product.
I had 2 other bids and after my initial meeting with their sales rep. there was really no contest.
I was sold on the quality versus the other options and most of all the price compared to other bids.
The installers are FIRST CLASS....no mess left after the job was completed and they did a super job sealing the frames from any potential leakage. They were quick to reschedule my installation after we had heavy rains.

Crew showed up little later than we were told, no biggie except it made them stay little later. Guys worked butt off and seemed to take care of my stuff and cause very minimal damage while removing windows (expected). Had what they said was a tougher than normal time removing old windows made whole thing take little more than 10 hours. When I first asked they said finish about 3 or 4 but didn’t until just after 6:30. Hard to schedule family dinner around that. Still not a great big deal but ending up rushing up the finishing work, caulking, cleaning up of windows and outside was not great. Inside home clean up was pretty good.

Asked me to look it over to fix anything prior to leaving, only found little screen damage, received call the next day to schedule repair.

Took about 5 weeks for them to make my new slider. i had purchased my windows form Desert King and loved them. Was told the guys would be there at 8 and they were there 10 minutes before. They laid down cloths to catch all the debris and then cleaned it all up! Both gentlemen were very nice and polite. Even showed me how to work the new slider locks! Asked if he could look at a couple of my other windows that I thought I was having issues with not closing and locking, showed me that on my windows they are hooked and when you close the bottom on, the top one pulls down, so you need to push it up, then lock. Looking to change the color of my windows trim, found out they can change it and use the same glass to save me money!

I love my new windows. From the estimate to the installation, I felt very comfortable with these guys. And the windows look great!

This company was extraordinary! The sales man who came to take measurements and the installers were all very pleasant. They were open to any and all input we had concerning the purchase and modifications necessary during the installation of our new front doors. After the hours spent on the construction of framework, the cleanup was over in minutes. Six thumbs up from our household.

We live in Sun City West, Az. full time now and love the weather here all year around...even the hot Summer days. We bought this house 4 yrs ago and have completely remodeled the whole interior (and actually some of the exterior). We called Desert King Windows (along with 3 other companies) to come out and give us an estimate for replacement windows. Rudy came to our home with a sample of their windows, colors and complete information we needed. We went down to their location on 21st St. in Phoenix to make sure this is what we wanted. James came out to measure all the windows and doors that following week. We ordered 12 windows and 4 sliding doors the next day. Six weeks later our windows and doors came in (right on schedule). Dorian and Landon installed all the new ones in 4 days. They both are very professional, polite and above all...they treated us like family. They cleaned everything (inside and out) before they left each day. They're both very particular about their work and how they do it. We were totally at ease and totally satisfied during this whole experience and couldn't have worked with nicer people...all the way from the sales pitch thru the finished project. They did a fantastic job and we love our new doors and windows!!!

We had a great experience. Saleman was very helpful in guiding us to make the best choices.
It was a pleasure working with the installers. They did a wonderful job. Cleaned up as they went along. Answered our questions and move furniture that was too heavy for us.

Overall, quite pleased. My home's windows were a bit dated. So I had all windows (about 7 or 8 windows or so--maybe 10--depends how you want to 'count') and two extra large sliding glass doors replaced. I ordered the most solar efficient panels they offered at a reasonable price, thanks, in part, to a promotion they were running at the time of order--though even without the promotion, in hindsight, I think the upgrade would have been worth it. I'm quite pleased with how well they've performed in their first 'summer test' during these uber hot June 2021 summer days. Difference is obvious! I work from home--have for 16 years--not a COVID driven phenomenon. And no longer have to go shirtless in the afternoons when the A/C backs off a bit during 'peak hours'. Stays very comfortable inside the house. Electric bill seems to reflect as such, too--but probably need a bigger sample size before making any % savings declarations, relative to prior years' bills.

The only reason for 4 stars??? Install was... how should I say? It didn't go smoothly--though I didn't find it a reflection of care or professionalism--just some bad luck and bad timing. Expected a day and a half install time. But by first day's end, due to some change in their install teams (according to the foreman), it was clear they were behind--and supposedly it was because they were 'short' two installers (there were 3 including foreman, originally planned for 5 installers, apparently). The second day, one of the 3 had their COVID shot scheduled--so they missed most of day #2--and there was a sole installer with the foreman joining later in the day for day #2. Install dragged out two more days--with limited installers available at any single point in time. So it was just slow due to obvious resource constraints. And then to cap it off, unfortunately, the very last window was discovered to have been broken during transport. So it had to be reordered and a second install time rescheduled approximately 6 weeks later. And what would you know? It broke again during transport/setup on try #2. This time, it was at least 'good enough' to get installed (i.e. old frame removed, new frame placed, caulked, etc.), albeit with the top panel sporting a large crack across the pane on the inner half of the double-pane. So another reorder necessary for that pane. Finally, a month later, they were able to replace the broken pane. And it was finally done.

I can imagine the above might have been very upsetting to some. For me? Like I said, I work from home. So, not like I had to change my life to be available for them to complete work. At most, a mild inconvenience. But not a deal breaker for me. Further, it wasn't from lack of effort, imo--seemed more like some bad luck and bad timing. And overall, I thought the quality of the installs was good. They were more than willing to come back and 'fix' caulking that cracked after initial install. And while I'm not going to suggest everything was 'perfect' and 'pristine', given the overall quality/value equation? I'm pleased, despite some minor setbacks during the install process.

Everyone I encountered during this transaction and experience were very helpful, patient, respectful, and followed up on every request or any issues. Thank you Dallas for all you do!

Wow, where to start..........from the beginning of my initial phone inquiry with Ron Shortt I felt as though I was in reliable and capable hands. Ron sent out Liz for our consultation and she was so knowledgeable and informative about Desert King Windows products and national guidelines regarding U-Factors and Solar Heat Gain Coefficients as they relate to our Arizona heat. During our consultation, my husband and I never felt any high pressure tactics - if anything, she left us with helpful information and encouraged us to compare Desert King's windows to any other company out there and then contact her again to discuss any questions or differences, etc. We met with a total of 6 window companies over 3 weeks and in the end we went with Desert King Windows ~ we experienced the good, the bad and the ugly during those consultations but are thrilled with the final installation done by James. James was on time, professional, a skilled craftsman in his field of expertise and very efficient. Our home was left in the condition it was prior to our 5 windows and new sliding glass door (looks just like French Doors, but it's a sliding door) being installed. My husband couldn't say enough great things about how James went about the installation from beginning to end. Both my husband and I are extremely pleased with the entire process as it relates to our purchase with Desert King Windows and will be using them in the future and recommending them to all our friends and family. I realize that everyone has their own experience and some may not agree with mine, but felt that I had to share ours as Desert King Windows bent over backwards to help us with 2 different schedule changes we had to make due to family emergencies and knew that as our new windows/door sat in their warehouse they weren't making any money on this deal, yet they never said one negative word. Desert King is AMAZING. From start to finish was smooth and seem less. We were in a home with single pane metal framed windows, and they were terrible. Desert King came in and helped us find a beautiful energy efficient window that met all our needs. Would definitely recommend!

The sales guy Dan was very nice and informative, and got a great price on 8 windows. The installers worked very quickly (only took about 5 hours to install all the windows) and they patched everything up very nicely and it all looks great!

Overall good experience. They are a lot less expensive than the big name competitor. Their installation team is great but does leave things a little messier than I would have liked, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Overall they are a good company that I would use again.

I spoke with someone in the office with how many windows I was needing (12). There was some confusion if they service my area, although while on hold, as she was looking into it, the hold informational dialogue states they service all of Arizona. She came back on and said a salesperson will be getting back to me. No call back, so I called again and left another message. Still no call back and it has been over a week. I am happy they are so busy during this time they can pick and choose their jobs, but have some common courtesy and call back potential customers, or if you don't want the job, maybe refer another company. If this is any indication on their customer service skills, better to know now before the job starts.

HORRIBLE!!! Delivered broken glass. Which is fine.. it happens. Totally understand that...However Dan the salesman, needs to understand “professionalism”,just as much as he thinks he understands sales. I’m helping manage the windows being installed on my father in-laws behalf since he’s out of state. I asked Dan if he can reach out to my father in-law to explain the situation of the broken glass before he makes the final payment and he repeatedly told me No, and to have my father in-law call him if he’s that concerned. Then accused us of not wanting to pay (which was totally not the case) just wanted to know how this gets handled before we pay. We went in circles about this... and eventually I told him since Dessert King Windows delivered the window, That’ it would be nice for him to make that courtesy call to the customer. Then he threw a tantrum and said he’s too busy to call. I said understood.. maybe when you’re free you can call him.... then he said he’s not going to call and I should have my father in-law call him (because he was getting upset haha) Lol..the guys who installed were great! Loved the install. However the so called Salesmen of this company don’t really know how to deal with people I feel. I seem to see it pop up here and there with the other reviews as well. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!

im a retired veteran on a fixed income. I had Anderson windows come out to give me a bid. oh my, such a high pressure sale, I felt like I was in the gulag. then i called desert king windows, what a nice staff they have on the phones and they set an appt. with rudy for me the next day. again rudy was very nice, on time and knew what he was selling. no pressure at all. i called them the next day to accept their bid. thank you desert king windows, i can hardly wait until my new windows arrive and at a price i can afford.

Great product and reasonable price. On a negative note though, if you have issues after the installation it can be difficult getting a hold of someone. We have had several leaks and in all cases it was one to two weeks before someone came out (make sure they seal the top of your windows when they install).

Very unprofessional. My wife and I live temporarily out of state and with the help of friends are attempting to fix up our Phoenix home. After speaking with Desert King, they rudely stated that since my wife is the owner, they were unwilling to give quotes to anyone but her. Seriously? My wife would need to take a week off school to fly down to Phoenix just to get a quote from this company? This is not a proper way to treat prospective clients. We will find a window installer that respects our situation and can create a trusted relationship.

I bought my windows 25 years ago. I still have no problems they work great and look great.

From the in home consultation with Rudy to the guys who installed the windows it was A++ professionalism. The windows even better than expected and the installation was fast and smooth. One of the better companies I’ve dealt with in the area.

We had 15 windows and two sliders replaced by Desert king. Daniel the sales manager was very informative and knowledgeable. He was very responsive during the ordering process. The installers David and Donovan were awesome and did an amazing job installing our windows. Our house looks like a new home, can’t wait to see how much cooler it is this summer. Was recommended by a coworker and had a person come out for a quote. She (the owner’s daughter) was not very professional and not at all prepared for the in home quote/consultation. She was not rude or anything at all just did not seem very knowledgeable about the product and was not able to answer detailed questions we had. Decided to go with another company because my vibe felt off.

They replaced my old crank out casement windows, 11 of them, with double paned, vinyl framed, gas filled windows & my bills to heat & cool my home dropped dramatically!! They also increased the value of my home. Next will be my doors & Desert King Windows will get my business. The windows took 1 & 1/2 days. The workmen were great. They cleaned up everything. I would recommend Desert King Windows to everyone!!

our installation was very difficult as we had two upstairs picture windows and had to work around a saguaro ! Rodney was our installer he did a wonderful job and pleasant to work with !

Great company we use again. Have a bathroom window show up with a couple small cracks after installation, I call them up, told him which window it was, two weeks later they show up with a brand new window.

My initial consult was with Daniel. He answered every question I had before I had a chance to ask and is clearly experienced in his field. We were able to work out a quote that was the most competitive of the four companies that I met with. The HOA took a while for approval, but Daniel made it clear that he was available to speak with them directly to clear up any questions or concerns. The final product ended up meeting their expectations perfectly.

The installation was completed by David and Donovan. Both were professional and wasted no time in getting the project completed. They laid down mats for the dust, washed all surfaces when complete and made sure to vacuum the floors. I experienced white glove service for sure.

The best part of this past week was Desert King employee Christopher Garcia and his crew. 10 windows and 2 sliding doors including 3 customized windows and replacing windows in a crazily constructed Master bedroom Bay window, with lots of hidden complications and many trips to the hardware store. Chris kept his humor, worked long hours and even managed to tell us that these kinds of jobs, the ones that really challenge his skills are his favorites. And everything looks beautiful, a huge difference bringing the outside in for a wheelchair bound client and we will be Chris fans for life!

This happened last year and I've thought long and hard about writing this review, but I think it's important for people to know.

I purchased a home that had Desert King windows installed approximately 2 years prior (as I was told by the sellers). I estimate install to have been in 2019.

I've had multiple, multiple companies come out to attempt to repair the work Desert King did and every company has said they can only replace as the windows are now trash.

The windows were not leveled on install so several are impossible to close unless you're on a ladder to push from the top. A few of them are sagging in the center. One of the windows has water leaking inside of ithe window itself.

***ALL exterior uncovered windows leaked water into the walls of the home*** (restoration company was out to remove the mold). My drywall was WET inside of the house after rain.

Desert King refused to communicate regarding resolutions, apart from being willing to do the work so long as I paid them because the caulking warranty was up (2 years). Absolute disaster. When I initially contacted them, the rep on the phone indicated this would be covered under warranty. Their service manager came out (Kenny) and assured me this would be covered and that it was a big job and shoddy install. HE said the installers used the wrong material to seal the windows (so the caulking warranty shouldn't even matter at that point). He suggested how he would repair the windows and indicated he would talk to the owners about it as he had to get approval before having a team come out.

Owners DECLINED their own service managers recommendation (apparently) because a week later he advised the owners did not agree this was their responsibility and this fell under the caulking warranty (despite knowing the wrong material was used).

I spoke to the manufacturing rep who took over the window product line (it was sold to a new company). He reached out to Desert King as well and they again declined any resolution.

Buyer beware. Unfortunately I did not know enough about windows to see this problem when I bought the house. The home inspector also failed to identify, although it's painfully obvious now how to spot this (see attached pictures). I actively recommend against this company in my real estate interactions.
