After working on a home remodel for the last year, we have come to expect delays, excuses and no-shows from several businesses. I contacted Dependable Glass and with my measurements they were able to give me a general idea of pricing for glass doors for a wine closet. The customer service people were very good with follow up before and after my order. I made an appointment to have the doors measured. We had the pleasure of working with the Brothers Lance and Sean. After they measured, it took about 2 weeks or so until the glass was ready and the hardware was available. The Brothers installed the glass doors and did a wonderful job. They were prompt, clean and courteous! I highly recommend Dependable Glass from their phone staff to the installers, Lance and Sean.

First used Dependable in March 2021 to have some fixed mirrors and shower glass taken out. Kristen was able to give me an idea of price and have the job done in a very timely fashion.
In September called them again and had quotes for a primary steam shower and a guest bathroom shower. Knew it would take a while with everyone being busy but today CJ and James did a wonderful job of installing both doors and they look fabulous. Great company to work with, all of the employees we met have been easy to deal with and the glass quality is simply outstanding.

We received 3 quotes before selecting Dependable Glass for our MasterBath shower. What sold us on them was the technician’s (Sean?) professional and knowledgeable demeanor during inspection for the quote. On the day of the install, we had “The Brothers” -Lance and Sean. From start to finish this company was A+. I wish I could give them 10 stars. We had the brothers Lance and Sean for the estimate and the install. Both times they were here when they said they were going to be, this quality is hard to come by with contractors these days. This house is a vacation home and was going to trust dependable glass and the brothers to come in while we were in home in Washington to come install. This install was going to be around March sometime. Last minute we had to take a trip to Az and called Dependable Glass to see by chance is the shower doors were in. Teigan and Kristen in the office went above and beyond checking stock and asked if we would be ok with a different look, if so, they could get it done while we were here. Lance and Sean just left, and the shower glass looks amazing! Not only are they hard workers they are very personable and fun to talk to. Also, this company was superb when it came to communication, from the girls in the office to the brothers. I'm not one to write reviews and felt like I had to for this one!!!

An excellent company, great product and service at a fair price. Everyone we dealt with was awesome, from requesting a quote to installation. They came out twice to measure to make sure the new cabinets didn't change anything. Great Service!

We had a glass shower door installed and it is fabulous. Daniel and Kyle were so professional and skilled at their work. They also removed two builder glued mirrors without one crack! Dependable Glass came to our home within 48hrs for an estimate after our first call. Within 24 hrs we had a written estimate. Within 2 weeks we had a new shower door. Normally I don't write reviews. I read them, but don't write them. This one is needed as we had our shower enclosure updated by Dependable Glass. There were two guys that came out and measured our enclosure. These guys did well and got the measurements correct. However, it was the install that stands out. Our installers, Lance and Sean aka The Brothers started to install our shower doors when they called our attention to the fact there was a wrong glass channel that was sent. Would it have worked? Yes, but is wasn't exactly what should be there. They stopped the install and called the company to get the right glass channel sent out. They could have installed the enclosure and not said anything. They wanted it right and did the right thing by calling our attention to it. Thank you Lance and Sean for a great install and your professionalism and being personable as well.

My shower has been leaking since I purchased my new home aver a year ago. The builder finally sent over dependable glass. Emilio and Daniel came over on a weekend and explained why it was leaking replaced and added seals around the shower door. Emilio also explained how the builder should have angled the flooring on the shower to help prevent the leaking. Thank you again.

It's rare to find customer service anymore, but if you call Dependable Glass for help, you are blessed if Sylvia answers the phone. She was smart, asked the right questions to help me make an informed decision, friendly, with a great sense of humor. I wish every company had people like Sylvia. When an 8x4' glass window cracks it is always hard to deal with having to replace it but Dependable Glass came through. A fair estimate and cost for a double paned tempered replacement and service was great. They showed up on schedule with 4 team members to quickly get the job done. Steve, James, Jeremy and Emilio all were professional, efficient, clean and helpful (especially with moving my desk that I couldn't do alone). Within less than hour the work was done, and done well. I went in on Tuesday and asked for a rough estimate for a standard size shower glass surround the lady took my information, it's now Saturday and I never heard ANYTHING from her. She told me the turn around time to get the glad installed is about 2 weeks. I'm at almost a week and haven't even gotten the rough estimate. I'm guessing if I would have ordered from them at 2 weeks the excuses would have gone on for months I won't be ordering ANYTHING from them.

When I chose our beautiful shower glass door, I had no idea how difficult it would be to find someone to install the darn thing. We bought the door on homedepot.com and even had a tough time finding a Home Depot installer to install the door. When we did find one he was significantly overpriced.

When the installers arrived to our house, it was even MORE clear how difficult this door would be to install. He took an hour out of his day to read the instructions on the door and make sure they would have everything that was needed for a successful install. He also warned us that putting this shower door onto glass tile had a HIGH rate of breakage and was able to install without breaking a tile PHEW! The installers also cautioned that over time the weight of the door could possibly still create breakage (which it did) but just barely enough to notice. I 100% appreciate the heads up and honesty as it gave us a good idea of what to expect.

THE ONE bad thing was that when my husband called to book, he gave the company all of the info including the shower door model number and that we had glass tiles. However, this information was not passed onto the installers and clearly not enough time was allotted for the install. They were given a 1-hour window for a 3-hour project. Unfortunately, my husband took the day off work to be present for the install, which isn't the easiest to do, so it was a waste of PTO for nothing. Luckily, his off Friday was later on that week and we were able to reschedule for that day, but had it not lined up like that we would have had to reschedule for 2 weeks out. If I were to use them again, I would make sure this information was passed into the installers. But in the end, the quality of the install and knowledge of the door is enough to trump the initial booking issue.

This has been a seamless experience getting our shower glass replaced. James and Rickey came out and did an estimate, got the parts ordered, and were back out to install the new shower. The Brothers (Lance & Sean) installed a new shower enclosure in our home. Before our order was placed they did a very accurate measurement of our shower.
When they installed the new enclosure, they took the time to do a thorough job of cleaning after removing the 20 year old enclosure. They also took all the old glass with them as well as any packing materials from the new glass.
We're very happy with the quality of the product and the installation and would highly recommend them!

We had Dependable Glass come out and measure for a custom vanity mirror and custom Euro shower glass door for our newly remodeled master bath. While their customer service initially seemed impressive, it quickly went downhill after the installation was complete. After we had used the shower a few times, we noticed that the suction cups they used to transport the shower door had etched circular lines in the shower glass (see photo below). We tried glass cleaner, to no avail. I called to make them aware of the situation, assuming it would be no problem for them to fix it. The install guys were here installing the vanity mirror and called the owner, who came out and tried to sand it down with super fine sand paper. It did nothing. He went back to the office and we didn't hear from him for several days. He finally left us a voicemail stating that the manufacturer wouldn't warranty the defect and there was nothing Dependable Glass could do. However, if we wanted, we could call the manufacturer's rep and for an additional $150 WE could pay THEM to polish the glass to try and get rid of the defect. Unbelievably poor customer service. If I could give them zero stars I would. We paid Dependable Glass $800 for a custom shower door that was defective from day one of install and they refused to fix it, instead putting the onus on us to spend additional money to remedy. There are lots of glass companies in the greater Phoenix area. Please, take your business elsewhere.

Update from customer in response to Dependable Glass owner's response: To suggest that these marks show up in every piece of glass or mirror you install when a shower door or mirror gets fogged in a bath setting implies that you should not be in business at all. I have renovated 15 homes and have had new mirrors and shower doors installed in every one of them and the suction cup etching has never appeared in any of them except yours. They don't appear on the mirror you installed and you used the same suction cups to transport it, so your argument holds no water. As I mentioned in my complaint to the Better Business Bureau, I would expect a reputable, reliable company to do everything in their power to remedy such a prominent defect. Pawning us off on the manufacturer to spend additional $$ to fix your problem is unprofessional, unethical and speaks volumes to your character.

Excellent service from scheduling to repair. The team was right on target with what had to be done. Our existing master bathroom mirror (90” long X 48” wide) became separated from the wall and called Dependable Glass after reading their reviews. Made the appointment and they came out reattached the mirror to the wall, cleanup up in less then two hours. Very knowledgeable team. I would highly recommend this company and will contact again them again if any further glass repair is needed to our house.

From beginning to end, Dependable Glass was a pleasure to deal with. Their business name totally captures the culture of their business DEPENDABLE.

I thought that Dependable did a good job with our window glass repair. The estimate was in line with the other company that we had give us a quote. CJ and Dustin who did the install were friendly, professional, competent, and on time. The only small miss was the time it took from when we decided to go with them until they had the glass ready to install. They said it would be 2-3 weeks, but It took a month. All in all, I am a satisfied customer and would recommend Dependable.

This was the only place I could find that was confident in their ability to cut mirrors that were already affixed to bathroom walls. They were up front and honest that it would be a 50/50 chance of success. James and Daniel came out and successfully made the cuts I needed without any cracks requiring new mirrors. The cuts that were made allowed for my light fixtures to be properly screwed into the electrical boxes. They cleaned all the old glue from previous work and even mounted the light fixture brackets which made it that much easier for my electrician. All in all I was extremely pleased and thankful. Ask for James and Daniel - they were outstanding!!

The 2 installers Bryson & Shane showed up on time and were very professional. They did a great job on installing my new aluminum windows as well as explaining all the info on each. The 2 cleaned up the work area better than it was when they started.
Anyone that thinks today’s young people are lazy and disrespectful, have never met Bryson & Shane.

Dependable Glass was contracted again for my glass projects. I purposely requested The Brothers Lance and Sean for my glass installation. They did an amazing job installing the shower door enclosure, 2 vanity mirrors, and a glass sliding barn door. They are very meticulous about making sure the products are aligned perfectly straight. Excellent experience with Dependable Glass replacing a very large piece of Shower glass. The previous company had installed glass that was too small and filled in areas with caulk which was very ugly. Dependable came out promptly to measure for replacement glass, and were very easy to deal with. Overall experience with Dependable Glass was positive. I was very pleased with the attention to detail displayed by Daniel when he was taking the initial measurements and the detailed notes that he took. He also took time to explain what is possible and what is not possible. Installation went well and all the installers (Daniel, Jeremy and Emilio) did a good job. There was a slight issue when the glass supplier provided the wrong glass for guest bathroom but Dependable Glass brought it to my notice ahead of time and went-ahead with the re-order. Only feedback would be to keep customer informed via emails on the status of re-order on a periodic basis.

Dependable Glass was highly recommended (by our son after they did glass work on his home) and they did not fall short of our expectations in the least.

From the admin folks (Kristen & Michelle) who we spoke on the phone with numerous times to the estimators and thru the installers, we received professional and courteous service through and through.

I searched yelp for a place to install shower doors and this was one of the companies yelp showed me. The owner immediately sent me a number to call for an appointment for somebody to come look at the showers and give me an estimate. Their estimate was much better than any of the others, and they could do exactly what I wanted (install inside and outside towel bars...not sure why some of the others said they couldn't). The entire process, from getting the estimate, to having the doors installed took less than a month. Rich and Scott showed up right on time today, and knocked the job out in 1 1/2 hours. Make sure you are home during the installation process. I unfortunately was not as it was at a rental and arrived to a wonderful smell as I opened the front door. One of their workers used one of my toilets, without permission, and was also broken and I was there to fix it. Instead of trying to get rid of the content left in the toilet, it was left for me to clean. Was told they would give me a $90 credit for inconvenience, which my response was if that was all they felt appropriate to charge me the full amount because that wasn't acceptable enough. I was charged the remaining balance less my inconvenience credit. Shower enclosure looked fine. My time and having to clean up after someone else along with needing to buy candles and open windows to air out the place, was not worth $90.

RESPONSE TO OWNER: I highly doubt your techs would own up to it in fear of being reprimanded. The workers who stayed there have stayed there in the past and was aware and never had an issue like this happen, especially knowing they were going to stay there for the week. I support family owned businesses and we have more this past year and a half due to the pandemic. I am glad that instead of making a phone call to a client who had an issue, a response of false assumptions were made on the character of that client. Hence, why an edit is being made to my review.

After contacting multiple glass companies about cutting down our 3/4” glass table top from 42”x84” to 42”x72” and beveling the edge I found Dependable Glass. They gave me a quote that was very fair and an excellent time frame to accomplish the work. C.J., Ricky, Johnny and Justin came to our home to pick up the glass. Fantastic company! I had been ghosted by the previous glass guy I used for my shower door. (He never even came back to put on the stripping along the sides and bottom my shower door!) I found Dependable glass on Google. They were able to send someone out to measure within a day or 2 of me calling them. The quote they gave me seemed very reasonable and Elvis and Shane just came out and installed my bathroom mirror. They called when they were on their way, arrived exactly when they said they would and had it installed withing 20 minutes! They were super pleasant and cheerful and did a PERFECT job! I chose Dependable after reading reviews. Needed two double-pane windows in my house replaced. First co. that came for an estimate declined to even offer an estimate for the job, due to how they had started sliding out of the casings from facing the west side sun and being baked for 20 yrs, allowing them to start detaching. Dependable said they could do it, took measurements, and said they would call to arrange installation after the windows were built custom. Today the installation went fine and the windows seem high quality. The installers (Rich and Shane) were nice guys who were on time and did a good job. Work area left in good shape and all is good. Came from Idaho with a hutch and tall 8x8prsn table for college daughter. Needed existing table glass cut to make down table and add glass to hutch for protection. Another local business just south on the east side of HWY 17 tried to charge me $200 to cut if not tempered, then lying that it was tempered and they couldn’t cut but would sell me new cut glass. Let alone the deceit the old-timer owner was the rudest man. When I told him I had purchased the table and 3 other pounces for just over $100, he rudely replied, “then go back to Idaho and have them cut it!” My husband and so left. Dependable glass was awesome to work with, friendly, professional staff, and reasonable prices who really helped us out in a pinch. You guys were awesome!

Great experience! I had 3 showers where I wanted the shower doors replaced and updated but wasn't sure exactly how I wanted them to look. I was able to see several different styles at the store (barn door style) and then found pictures on line to show as examples of what I was also considering (European type shower shield; single door). Stephen at Dependable Glass was very patient and helpful. I was also working within a budget so he was able to give me options that didn't send the price of the project over my limit. He showed up on time for each appointment, kept me informed of back orders, and installation went as planned. They cleaned up any debris that was left behind related to the installation (which was minimal) and there was no collateral damage in the bathrooms. It was nice to work with a company that followed through and did what they said they would do. I would definitely recommend and will use again in the future.

One 8x11 glass pane in my wood French door was broken. I called multiple glass companies and they told they could not replace the glass, that we would need a new door.
After several calls, I found Dependable Glass. They came out within a day or two, measured the glass and then ordered it.

Dependable glass has completed several projects for our company's corporate office in Phoenix. This project, we requested a large locking trophy case. We knew it would be a bit tricky because the wall to wall space is slanted. The Guys just came out and Finished installing Mirrors across the wall being used for a Gym and Dance Studio as well as installing the Frame-less shower. We ordered the Rain Pattern as well as having the EuroShield Treatment. They did a great Job. They were prompt, and cleaned up after their work.

I would highly recommend them.

The only issue, but I wouldn't call it that is the shower hooks did not arrive the same time as the other parts. They said will come back and install those once they come in. With all of the other positive installations, I'm sure they will be prompt on that as well.

We are inquiring for them to install sliding glass doors as well since the great job they did for us today.

Steve, the company owner, went out of his way to ensure the installation was perfect. The initial install saw unforeseen circumstances. However, Steve corrected the issue without hesitation. I will make one thing clear, this was the best customer service experience I have ever witnessed. We needed a 3'x2 1/2' piece of rain glass installed in our shower. This was a small job that was treated as a big job in the fact the installers were very professional in communications and punctuality. They were also very courteous to my wife and I the whole time on site. I highly recommend them for any job dealing with glass. I wish more people had their work ethic.

Dependable Glass is hands down the best priced glass in town. I called over 9 glass manufacturers in towns and dependable beat them by $100-$200. They also were the only ones who could have the glass shelves completed in 24-48 hours compared to the others who were all 2-4 weeks out. The customer service was above and beyond. I went to pick up the glass and there was a small issue. They told me they would correct and deliver it to me the next day. They called me letting me know they were about 5-10 mins away and he showed up with the glass. The shelves were perfect and I am beyond glad I went with this company.

We received 3 quotes for removing a mirrored wall (15’ x 9’), and potentially saving some of the mirror for another room. One company said they couldn’t even do it, and another quote was high.

The folks at Dependable glass were professional, friendly, punctual, and informative. Rick and Shane showed up to do the removal and were able to salvage much more of the glass than I anticipated. They went over the possible measurements and ideas for the other room, and helped me come up with a plan.

There were some relatively minor adjustments that needed to be made after the install. Again, Dependable glass went out of their way to get the crew back out here before the glue dried, and make the situation right.

The larger of piece of glass has not been reinstalled yet, but I commend them on the professionalism of their operation.

Replaced 35 x 69 Low E insulated glass (Family Room Window).
The glass was installed on time and as expected. The only complaints we have (hence the four starts instead of five) are that the installers did not call when they were on their way as we were told they would (this is very important to us because we have several large dogs that need to be contained before anyone can enter the property), and also there were some clear silicone smudges left on the glass that we had a difficult time cleaning off. Other than that, we are happy with the company, the owner, and the employees. They were very polite, cleaned up after themselves, and were there within the scheduled timeframe. We would definitely order from Dependable Glass again.

Elvis and Shane both fantastic, I needed an old full size mirror remove in the bath room that i'm remodeling .They arrived on time and removed my old mirror in minutes. I will be using Dependable Glass again on my next project

this is the worst company to deal with!!! we ordered glass shower doors, they said it would take 2 week, well the 2 weeks came and they said there was a scratch on the glass and it would take another week, well another week went by and we didn't hear from them, so we called and they said the glass had the holes in the wrong place, so it would take another week, so another week went by we called and they said the measurement was wrong,!!! all through this process we have been getting the run around and not getting a straight answer, they lie and make excuses. we want our deposit back but are not getting anywhere, next step is the attorney general.

We ordered a custom glass for large dining room table. It has been less than a year and the glass no longer sits flat on our table. I called to ask if they could come look at it and maybe help me replace it on the table so it sits flat. They were willing to but only by charging me a service fee of $65. I think it's pretty poor customer service and ridiculous to pay $65 to do something that will likely take less than 10 minutes of their time. Do not use them if you will need help after the install.

In response to the owners response: I did not move the glass as it's impossible to do so, it's too large, hence why I called. The glass no longer lays flat on my table. I did not know this could happen and called asking if someone could come look at it and help replace it on the table so it lays flat. Instead of following up with us you attack me online. Your tone is not one of trying to work on this but instead blaming me for asking for help. Plenty of businesses send staff out to follow up on concerns without charging and telling the customer how it will cost wear/tear on their vehicles to do so. I am all about local businesses and your response is a very big business type of response. The point of local business is that they care about the customer and establishing a relationship. You just illustrated my point very clearly in your response to me.

If your company's service is reflective of the way your driver aggressively and unsafely drives on the freeway you should rate less than 1 star!

So while driving northbound on I-17 (5/23 @ 4pm) a driver in your well logo'd company truck (maroon/red late model F150) attempted to speed up while trying to keep me out of the Anthem Way exit lane. I was forced to accelerate to over 95 mph to get safely ahead of him. He knew he was trying to box me out and I guess the fact he failed only angered him more. He then proceeded to accelerate to a very unsafe speed and cut me off in the Anthem Way exit lane.

Driving a company logo'd vehicle represents the company - its image, its reputation, its customer service and its commitment to safety. Your unsafe driver just made Dependable Glass look very bad.
