Scott Roofing is professional all the way, from the estimators to the final inspection--great to work with, office staff is very responsive, workers are fast, clean and efficient. Only issue might be that their estimate may come in higher than your Insurance coverage, due in part to using high quality materials--you get what you pay for! A week after installation, we had the 9th rainiest day in Phoenix history, and we're totally dry inside...nice work!

Needed a leak detective to help figure out a leaking window. First place I contacted automatically went to fixing the roof (thousands of dollars). Brandon from Renco came out and deduced that a woodpecker had pecked a hole in the pop out above the window and that was where the rain was going. He filled the hole and that was that. Saved me headaches and lots of money. Honest company. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my roofing needs.

Guys that came out to do the work were good. Work on my foam flat roof is barely acceptable (if it even is) based on ROC standards. Had a horrible time with the office staff throughout the project. Very poor communication with us. Cleaning of our existing foam roof was not scheduled due to sales person not specifically stating it in the contract. He always said it would be cleaned (power washed) before new foam was applied. When I called about it, the project coordinator in the office acted like it was my fault because I signed the contract as is, and never called the sales person to figure it out. I had to call our sales person to tell them what happened and get things corrected. Scheduled the final coat of sealant and nobody showed up that day because it was cloudy. No calls to tell us they wouldn't be coming, or when they would be. The only reason they are getting two stars instead of one (zero if I could) is because of the 12 months same as cash financing available. They certainly were not Crazy about Quality with our job!

I had a roof done by Lyons years ago, and it was a good experience, so I called them when I needed another roof done. John, the estimator, came out and was extremely professional. I was happy to go forward and got all the required paperwork in place. I was told I'd be contacted by a scheduler in a couple of business days. That was weeks ago.

I have been given the runaround on the phone twice, today by offsite reception--not actually Lyons Roofing. The man who answered kept interrupting and interrogating me about details the company already has. He never took into consideration the reason for my call. Instead of listening or pausing for a second to hear why I was calling, he just kept interrupting to ask questions, and answered none.

The whole experience made me extremely uncomfortable, and I admit I lost my patience. I was already at the limits of my patience before this call, due to the complete lack of communication from Lyons Roofing. Why aren't they following through? Why do they have someone from outside their company interrogating customers? I expected so much better from Lyons Roofing.

My work was done quickly. The quality workmanship, efficiency and ease of doing business should make selecting this company an easy one.

We had minor roof damage due to a microburst on January 25. We noticed some loose tiles on the roof so we called Clyde Hardacker and asked for an inspection. He came out the next day and inspected our roof. He found no problem as the tiles were from our neighbors. He did find some roof tip shingles loose so he replaced them right on the spot. The charge was minimal. He has done previous work for us, by replacing flat roof top on our patio and front door overhang. I would definitely recommend him and will use him in the future. Owners are honest and easy to communicate with. Employees worked all day every day and were always on time and courteous. The job site was cleaned up at the end of each day and I was then informed of the work to be completed the following day. I received everything that was contracted for and then some. Excellent roofing company, best in the valley!

After 3 wrong companies. I called Michael and he resolved my roofing problem easily. They were very punctual and efficient. Michael was also very easy to work with.

Called this company TJ came out a few weeks later for an estimate. He said I would get it in a few days. A month later I had to reach out to him to get the quote. I followed up with a few questions. No response. I guess they don't want my business. Save your time and call a company who cares.

After we made the painful decision to replace our existing metal roof, my husband an I wanted to hire a roofing company that only constructed metal roofs—experts in the field. We are pleased with our decision to have Vertex Metal Roofing do the job for us.

The company’s professionalism was first evident in the analysis by Korbyn Brock of our previous roof’s problems. Then his subsequent presentation of Vertex standing seam products and installation methods helped convince us that those problems would not occur in the future. No question went unanswered.

The cost of the job was expensive and took 5 weeks to complete. Not a criticism…just a fact. We have a hip roof with nearly 7000 square feet of metal between the roof and soffit panels. That’s why choosing the right company is so important. Metal will last a lifetime. But the roof can fail if not designed and installed properly. Accessibility and communication are also key. After the job started Korbyn stayed in touch as did the head foreman, Jim Conway. But the main communication was taken over by Marco Cobos, the site foreman. I can’t praise him highly enough. He calmly and consistently responded to any questions or concerns during the job. If we didn’t like something, then he fixed it or did it over until we were satisfied. He worked hands on with his great crew.

Then, the week after the job was completed we were blessed with a light rain that revealed seams on two gutters that were dripping and holding water. Upon communicating this to the head foreman, Jim(who responded within minutes), we were assured the problem would be resolved. Jim came out personally to assess the situation and the following week Marco came out personally to redo the seams on those gutters. He also checked every seam on EVERY gutter around the house. To me, that’s a sign of a truly reputable company—one that doesn’t make excuses for a problem but apologizes, takes responsibility and then makes it right.

Needless to say we would recommend Vertex to anyone interested in purchasing a metal roof. Their performance has made us confident that this will be the last roof we’ll ever need.

I was impressed with each of the representatives that worked on my roof issue. They were polite and very respectful of my home and my time from the initial salesperson all the way down to the roofing team that installed the roof. They met with me and answered all my questions and explained what the process would involve and how long it would take and what to expect. This was important to me as I had never filed a claim before. They met with my insurance company representative when he came out for his inspecton. The installation date was set and done on time.
If you want your job done right and no hassles this is the right company. 5 Stars on all counts.

Just wanted to say Jim with Tacheny Exteriors was great to work with. From the first call throughout the process they exceeded expectations.

We had the metal roofs on both of our buildings (total of 88,000 sf) repaired and then sealed using Karnak coating system. These were very difficult roofs with AC & evap units to work around.. They power-washed, primed and then sealed every vertical and horizontal seam and metal fastener. Then the top coat seal was applied. It has been tested with recent rains and there are no leaks. They back it up with a 10 year manufacturer's NDL warranty which includes parts and labor. They were very professional and did a great job all around. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality professional work at a fair price.
