Diversified Roofing

Not what I hoped for. I got a notice that if the balance wasn't paid within 10 days a lien would be place on my house and I had 10 days to dispute discrepancies, they hadn't even began my roof. After waiting for a date for my project for 5wks I requested my deposit back. They found time for my roof, they left after 2 days with my roof incomplete, of course it rained then so I had to cover my roof. A week later they called me and they didn't realize my roof wasn't done. They came back and finished. They didn't replace the 10 sheets of plywood I signed for. They left trash around my house and a cigarette butt on my roof, some fasteners were left exposed. I didn't get a final walk through or anything when they were done. They didn't recognize a $5k payment until I pointed it out. They made everything right in the end but I had to supervise them at each turn. I tried hard to like them. Communication and professionalism were not present through my experience.

*UPDATE 9/6/22*
Changed to 3 star. After speaking with the new customer service manager who reached out to us, they apologized for their previous response and sent out a team to do a thorough inspection of the roof and they will be sending a company out to fix the inside drywall damage.

*UPDATE 8/7/22* we are still dealing with the terrible workmanship of this company. In addition to the section that wasn’t sealed properly, there was another section that had a saw mark straight through the underlayment and into the wood. Hopefully, they’ll do the right thing and do a complete inspection to identify any other problem areas under the tiles.

Very disappointed in the responses I've gotten from their customer service. Diversified did the roof on my new build that was completed in 2018 and already in 2021 there is a leak due to a section of the roof not being sealed properly. First of all, to only respond that they will charge $95 to inspect and that I'm out of warranty and offer no other explanation when I submitted pictures to them is completely unprofessional. Second, since I had another LISCENSED company come out and do an estimate to repair their mistake, they say that even if I was under warranty, it would now be void. I will not be using this company again and will not refer anyone else to them either.

Our roof is only 3 years old, and has had 3 leaks. We contacted them, and they basically shrugged their shoulders and said it's out of warranty, oh well, despite evidence it was done poorly in the first place. I left multiple voicemails for a supervisor, that went unreturned. I was only able to speak to a lower level manager.

We had 3 different contractors come look at our roof, and they were shocked at the poor job Diversified did. One even asked if we hired a handyman for the roof, or an actual licensed professional!

Another said the roof looked 15 years old already, and another was kind enough to film in detail all of the poor workmanship issues and damages the roof has sustained in just three years.

Homeowners insurance of course denied the claim, because they won't cover poor workmanship from a contractor; It was that obvious to them how bad this roof was.

Don't go through the stress we did, stay far away from this company.

Diversified did a fantastic job installing the roof on my new home. They did both the standing seam over the front porch and the concrete tile on the remainder of the roof. They hit the schedule and did the work for a fair price. We are extremely happy with the finished product.

They now do re-roofs for all those homes at the 15-20 year mark.Get a hold of them, I worked with John, one of the Residential estimators there. From the minute he showed up until the final cleanup of my property it was all communicated to me daily, status of the job, issues they came across and lastly the Final walk of the roof with photos so I could see the results and attention to detail these professionals have. I had my roof redone with Diversified roofing and couldn't have had a better experience. I want to personally thank Quinn, Payton, John Settle and everyone else for all their efforts. From start to finish the entire process was quick and painless. I highly recommend them if you are in need of roof work!

Absolute Nightmare dealing with their service department. Doing business with this company should be avoided if you have any alternative available. I need some repairs done for my roof due to some strom damage. Was routed to their service department but no one ever picks up the phone. Called at least 10 times and left countless voice mails over a two months period and no one ever returned the call. On one lucky day I got through to the manager of the service department and he tried to help. But it still required 5 separate phone calls to chase him down just to get an appointment for someone to come take an initial look (at a cost of $380 just to give an estimate, which I agreed to because I was tired of the phone game). On the day of the appointment, no one show up. I left work early and waited for 5 hours during the appointment window for nothing. No one called to let me what was going on. Called the office find out and of course no one answered. How can you treat people like this and still be in business????

We have called them twice to come to our home to check our roof for any damages. Never received a call back from them. I guess they only want to install new roofs?

I had an excellent experience with Diversified Roofing. After getting several quotes from other roof companies their estimate remained the most competitive over the course of several months as we decided to replace our aged roof. They arrived on the scheduled day and got the job done promptly even in the face of some weather that stretched the timeline out 1 day. I would use Diversified Roofing again should I have the need.

Great crew, I'm a truck driver and everytime I go here to get loaded they are on the ball. As soon as I arrive I back in and they already have the product waiting on the forklift to be loaded. I'm generally in and out of the yard under 1.5 hours including arriving, loading and strapping.

Our home builder used Diversified to install our tile roof, and Diversified did a great job. Since 2019, we have used Diversified to perform an annual inspection for weather related roof damage and cleaning of the roof and gutters. The inspection includes numerous pictures of any damaged areas or areas of concern. Diversified's inspections have uncovered several damaged tiles that they replaced and they always do a great job cleaning the gutters.

Steven and Amanda have always been very responsive, professional, and informative.

In summary, Diversified does a great job at a reasonable price.

Diversified roofing did a roof inspection and repair for us after we had some damage done to our roof. They were very responsive and communicative. They came out quickly to fix the problem. Everyone we worked with were kind and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

My wife and I had just moved into our first home and the house has the original roof from a little over 20 years ago. We were advised by the inspector that it was time for a replacement. We were introduce to Diversified Roofing over 3 years ago and they are our number one call now. They are super helpful and get you all taken care of. The team at Diversified Roofing was very prompt in not only returning my initial phone call but scheduling a time to come out and look at my roof. I had a full report and quote in less than 24 hours. Didn't try to upsale me or convince me to fix something that didn't need to be fixed.

We had about 4 other quotes and this company was not the cheapest nor was it the most expensive. We went with them because they were thorough about what they were including in the price and were able to complete it in a timely manner (they actually came on a Saturday to do the final touches). From the time workers arrived, they were professional and courteous in regards to needing gates open, cleaning up after themselves, and letting me know if they were done for the day or planning to return. The roof looks beautiful, and we are very pleased with our decision to go with Diversified!

Purchased our new roof in late December of 2017. From the beginning the roof had some issues. They did repair and complete these issues. During the 3 yrs we bought the roof they were called out 3 to 4 times to fix a leak in a certain portion of the roof.. Each time repairing the area under warranty. Late August 2020, roof leaked and caused wall damage inside the home, this was a lengthy process but with the help of Lorena in the office, repairs were covered by the warranty. Lorena always had my best interest at heart and she took amazing care of me and my home. I am thankful for her and Diversified management for giving me a positive experience during this last incident.

A number of tiles were blown off my roof in a recent storm. I was referred to Diversified by someone that had recently used them to re-roof their home. I had a great experience with their service team. The communication was great and they showed up right on time. The cost of the repair came in below what I was expecting. Overall, great value and great service...tough to beat that.

Diversified Roofing (Houston) has been part of my construction team for about ten years. Steve is always reliable to ensure the job is done as promised and within budget. He is also extremely reasonable and fair in dealing with any issues that come up. When planning new projects that require roofing or waterproofing, Diversified is always one of my first calls. I highly recommend them.

My roof is 20 years old. I had numerous damaged or missing tiles due to years of monsoon weather and a blazing sun. In addition to that, there were a couple of leaks above the garage. These were just the surface issues that were obviously very apparent. I had no idea what damage could be lying beneath that surface. I needed to do something, but wasn't sure who to contact, so I began to ask around. A coworker of mine had mentioned that his parents recently used Diversified Roofing, and were very satisfied with the results of their work. So, I gave them a call. I was scheduled to meet with one of their representatives (Daniel S.) within a few days of my initial call. When Daniel arrived, he first conducted a full inspection of my entire roof and patio. He then walked me through all of his findings. He not only mentioned the things that I knew were in need of repair, but also discussed all of the not so apparent issues. First, the underlayment was completely ineffective. As a matter of fact, it disintegrated upon contact, and was in desperate need of replacement. Second, he explained that the roof cricket was not preventing the accumulation of water properly, therefore creating one of the leaks above the garage. He also pointed out that my patio roof had significant water damage, which I had never noticed, and needed to be resurfaced as well. There were a few other minor things as well. Daniel never made me feel like he was upselling me, but instead, looking out for my best interest. He just wanted to provide me with the information that I needed to make the best decision. He emailed the proposal to me which included not only the estimate, but a labelled aerial view of my roof, along with a comprehensive list of the scope of work which was to be performed. Quite frankly, the estimate came in a bit less than I expected. Needless to say, that was a pleasant surprise. So, I awarded Daniel the project. Now, they just had to deliver, and boy did they ever. I received a call from Jon (foreman for my project). Jon coordinated the installation and scheduled the work to begin just a few weeks after the contract had been signed. The day prior to the installation, materials had been dropped off at the house. Early the next day, a crew of 6 showed up and first began to lay plastic, where necessary, around the perimeter of the home. This made for easy clean up at the end. This crew work diligently for 2 straight 8+ hour days. I was very impressed with their work ethic. Yes, it was a bit noisy, with all of the hammering and walking on the roof, but that was to be expected. Due to a prior engagement on day 2, we were not present when they were finish with the installation. When we got home, and much to our surprise, we found the yard all around the house to be absolutely free and clear of any debris. It was as though no one had ever been there. I was completely 100% satisfied. I have to say that after my personal observance, I can't express enough, the appreciation I have for people willing to perform this scope of labor. I highly recommend Diversified Roofing to anyone who needs help with their roofing repairs, replacement or new build. Just remember to ask for Daniel S.

Their crew showed up on time and did the job and followed up with punch out work as expected. They even helped us out with some repairs caused by paint crew, who failed to own up to the damage. Very pleasant to work with. On the most recent occasion, I had a leak from the roof above my closet. Power was out. My wife walked in the closet in the dark, slipped, fell, and broke her kneecap! It was weekend. I called Steven first thing Monday and he came out the same day to get it fixed since my wife now needed surgery and could not have managed without the use of my bathroom. In an emergency, Diversified prioritized my need above others and came to our rescue. He was very responsive even after the damage from hurricane Harvey, too. Have engaged him in an annual service contract since then and have been very happy.

I wanted to give a ZERO rating for Diversified roofing... My entire experience was horrible. They are the worst service provider and with utter lack of communication and expertise. Runaway from them and save your money, precious time, and get quality work from other vendors.

It all starts with roof inspection during the home buying process, I came across this company when my realtor found them when they are available for a quick roof inspection within a day notice.
The ordeal started from the very first-day interaction when they communicated the date of the appointment but No visit time was communicated and to my surprise, I received a call from their billing dept early in the morning stating the technician is at the property and they can't move without the full payment. No earlier communication about time... Ok fine take the money and finish the inspection..but to my surprise, they did not send any inspection report, after multiple emails and phone call they told me they can't get hold of the technician who visited the property and them only able to send me when he appears...

The next day they send me an email in the mail body it was written 4 tiles broken and $135($95inspection + 3 tiles cost) amount will cost to repair and there were no other issues. They did not bother to check the mud cap, Underlining roof condition, holes, ridge layer, etc etc, when I questioned those they revert stating the expert technician missed to check all those information since he was a new joiner. How on earth a technician missed checking all those basic information.

Now after tons of communication their customer relationship manager said we will do another inspection, Now the broken tiles Number increased to 6 and they found mud cap missing, etc. now the $$$ value increased.

Now it's time to fix 6 tiles and mud cap... they went fixed the issue received a mail from billing dept, stating all completed.
next day I visited the property to my surprise the All their expert did not at all find out the very first ridge tile is hanging and mud cap is missing.. how can an expert miss this.. when after two inspections you found the issue and the photographs were given to you guys...Are you guys at all serious about your work?

After discussion, they told me it is again a miss from their end and they will send another expert to apply mud cap. Are your guys at all take your work seriously..how utter unprofessional you guys are.. it took them 4 visits to fix 6 tiles and mud cap.

Long story short RUN away from diversified roofing this was my first ever interaction with any roofing company and Diversified roofing failed to provide at least a minimum quality work, My be you guys are good at somewhere but in my opinion you guys suck.

From start to finish our experience with Diversified Roofing has been awesome! They guided us through the entire process and were so patient with our questions. The install was easy, efficient and clean!!! We will be using them again on our next project!!

We had the metal roofs on both of our buildings (total of 88,000 sf) repaired and then sealed using Karnak coating system. These were very difficult roofs with AC & evap units to work around.. They power-washed, primed and then sealed every vertical and horizontal seam and metal fastener. Then the top coat seal was applied. It has been tested with recent rains and there are no leaks. They back it up with a 10 year manufacturer's NDL warranty which includes parts and labor. They were very professional and did a great job all around. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality professional work at a fair price.

They put a roof on our garage and re-roofed our patio and did an awesome job. The crew was on time, very friendly and completed the job when promised. Management is is very professional and easy to work with.

Had a complicated manufacturer warranty issue with GAF. Diversified helped document the problem and helped me obtain the funds for repair. Additionally, the repair was difficult (had to remove defective ice and water shield), but the company patiently worked through the issues and got the job done. I’m one-hundred percent satisfied with their work.

(To be clear, Diversified had nothing to do with initial roof installation).

DRC helped me when my roof blew off my large storage shed. Had a crew out the next day and completed a re-roof with new drip edge. Great work and extremely responsive to our situation. I would definitely recommend them for your next roofing install or repair.

If you need your roof replaced or the underlayment replaced, I highly recommend Diversified Roofing. They were fantastic, competitive and thorough. I watched other roofs being re-done in our neighborhood and feel we had a superior job done on our roof. All flashing was replaced, bird stop, venting etc. They were done in a reasonable time, cleaned everything up thoroughly each day and the super for the roofing team came out every day to inspect the work done. He answered all our questions and explained the process in laymen's terms and then at the end, did a final inspection of the entire roof. I am impressed.

We have had a leak in our roof since we closed on our home in March, 2019. It has taken them SIX times to “repair” our roof and it is STILL NOT fixed! Our home is a new build and every home on our street have had issues with leaks. One even had their ceiling cave in! Unacceptable. They toss the ball of blame around and seem to never know what they are at my home to fix. It’s the same leak as last time people....communicate! One visit, the girl at their home office argued with me saying that my home was not on their calendar and that no one was even supposed to be at my home. Well, they came and left a CRACK in my ceiling and just left it that way after I pointed it out to them! They then left my roof exposed after I asked that they re tarp it after they said they “couldn’t find where it was leaking from.” I never write reviews and we have been more than patient. Consumer be cautious as you’re doing your research.

Diversified Roofing is the company who installed the roof on my new build house in Dec.2013. It appears they installed the O'hagin vents incorrectly, and now have water stains on my ceiling. Disappointed, but not surprised after reading reviews. They wouldn't even come out to look without charging me $95, which I said forget it. Of course several other roofing companies were happy to come out, free of charge to look to see how they can fix Diversifieds mistakes. Zero stars for workmanship and customer service.

Several roof tiles were torn off our roof by wind. The Diversified Roofing team came our fast, did an excellent repair for a very good price. The workers were friendly and professional.

Scott Petersen went above and beyond to help me during my recent home buying process. I was in my inspection period and needed a roofer to come out and quote me on the job. He offered to take a look at my inspection report and provided me with a ballpark price via email. I am so thankful that he took the time to do this to give me additional insight. Other companies wanted to charge me to provide this information. Great customer service and I highly recommend this company!

Very impressed from the beginning, during, and when they were done. They responded to our initial call very quickly and gave us a very fair estimate. The communication was excellent. They kept in contact as to what to expect, when they would start, during to see if we had any concerns, and after to follow up. They cleaned up after themselves each day. It only took them two days as they had five guys working each day. I have already given their name to a coworker. We will continue to recommend them highly.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Our new home was built by this company and we had solar put on before we closed. A few years later we discovered a leak and asked them to come out and evaluate/repair the leak. We had the appointment set for over a week to meet the solar company at the same time so we could figure out who's at fault and what the issue was. An hour before our scheduled meeting I get a call from their office stating they don't have any record of the solar being put on at the same time as the roof and they think we did it after the roof was installed. Well just because you don't have record of that, that's not my problem. I'm 1000% certain it was put on at the same time because it was all purchased as new with the house. There's no way the solar wires would have been ran through the roof and walls inside the house if it wasn't done at the same time. If you this company would have even bothered to come out they would have been able to see that.

This company is trying to dodge responsibility because someone is their office doesn't keep good records. An ROC complaint has been filed for this issue and if you look on the ROC website you will see the NUMEROUS other complaints filed against this company as well.

Once again... STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY at all costs... I cannot stress this enough!!!!

Cheapest quote out of about 10 I got. They explained things better than others. Workers thou were quite messy and careless. Sometimes sounded like They were going to fall in roof. A big crack happened in garage they claimed it was there and it wasn't. It rained and i got a water leak. They didn't bother to fix ceiling in garage. Careless on covering the area near chimney where it leaked from when they were calling for rain, Or the crack. Had many others in the house too.

I have been stood up by Diversified Roofing three times already. When I call to ask why, they are always understaffed. There has to be some accountability here.

Diversified Roofing worked on my commercial property here in north scottsdale and they did an excellent job. They brought a very professional crew and they worked fast and efficient. That is really all I could ask for! I would recommend them to anyone looking for commercial roofing.

Have called them multiple times for roof inspections and repairs. They have always been super responsive and are reasonable with their pricing. Highly recommend and will continue to use them as my number one choice for any future roof issues.

I have used them on my own buildings as well as many of my clients. They have always been very responsive and we have never needed for them to come back for any warranty work. We will continue to use them as our primary roofing contractor.

We have a new Pulte home with roofing by Diversified. Last night when the storm came through our house got hit by a microburst (felt and sounded like a freight train, in fact it was so disturbing, we stood under a doorway). Although Pulte wouldn't warranty it (no harm in trying) Diversified came right out and fixed all the damage within three hours of the initial call. The workmen were kind, clean and thorough. In these times (Covid-19) it is nice to have this level of service.

These people have the worst customer service. No one returns your calls. And if they do it’s a week later because someone is on vacation even though you called and left a few voice mails with other people. They came out made us a quote that was over $100 more then the company we ended up using. They are the ones that built the roof not even 3 years ago about 2 1/2 years and the roof from the storms ripped out roof apart. They say it’s an act of god they can’t control what the weather does. But why is it a brand new home and not only ours many others in same builder complex that also had same issues. That sounds more like workmanship then weather. The people the had on the roof when it was being built had no professional vehicles and could not sp aj English every time we checked on our home while being built. Stay away

The roofing repair was done extremely fast and the 2 roofers were very courteous and knowledgeable.
Left the property clean and went thru all repairs that they did on the Tile Roof.
I would highly recommend this company.

A job that was supposed to only take around 6 days ended up taking more than four weeks. That was after they realized they put the tiles on UPSIDE-DOWN at about 70% completion. We had to clean up the yard several times ourselves as they just threw waste on the ground and left it there during monsoon season. Now, several weeks after they've been paid, I've been calling every day to get close out documentation. Nobody returns my voice mails (since they won't answer) and no documents received. Probably one of the WORST home repair experiences of my life.

Horrible customer service department. They are unorganized and unprofessional. They miss appointments and the techs don’t even catch it all. These are not professionals they are hiring bums out of desperation because that’s what they are “bums” they don’t do a job when they are sent to one.
Look elsewhere for professional work, mi neighbors just hired a roofing company and did a job well done. Will be going to them. Stay away from diversified!!! They are not qualified!

A man came out in January and we paid over $8,000 to get a new roof (half the cost). It's now mid-February and we haven't seen or heard anything since. Not happy!
