Seth is an expert in his industry. I had to have him perform a few inspection-related electrical issues to the load center (panel) and connector to the food disposal. He performed the job with quick timing and had extra items available. Friendly guy who should expand the business.

These guys added a new dedicated circuit for a treadmill. They were great, timely, did the work as described and on budget.

Technician arrived as scheduled and was very polite and professional. He identified what I needed done and thoroughly explained how they would complete the work. He was unable to complete the work on this visit because I needed a special breaker to accommodate my portable generator and outlet but we agreed that when they have the part they can come out and finish the work. Since my generator is being serviced it’s not an issue. Very satisfied right now and will update after work is complete.

Ryan with Dr Fix It was incredibly professional and even came early (with my approval). He knew immediately what to do and how to do it. He was very kind and understanding about having my 3 year old and 1.5 year old kids watch him do his work. I felt so comfortable with the service I got, I signed up for the membership with Dr Fix It so I can co to use to receive their great services. Would definitely recommend!

The evening of 2/14/2021 our furnace stopped working- the coldest day of the year (-10 !). We survived the evening but called 1st thing in the morning and they were able to send a tech out within 2 hours. Travis was the tech who came out. He was very polite and friendly. He quickly identified the problem (a high limit switch), put in a used part while he ran to the warehouse to get new part so our house would start to warm up, then returned and completed the repair.
I appreciate that Travis took extra time to explain that the MERV11 filters I were using were too restrictive for the furnace we have and had caused the issue with the high limit switch. He advised on the proper filter and left the area where he worked as clean as when he arrived. Additionally, the total cost of the repair was VERY reasonable and way less than I expected.
I would not hesitate to use AAARK again or recommend them to family and friends. I found out that Travis had given up his day off to come and work this day because of the backlog of service calls. My family and I are thankful for his sacrifice on this cold February day!

We have an old blower motor in an old condo that had some electrical issues. I called 5 different HVAC companies (3 of which came out to visit over a period of 10 days) and Frank was the only guy in the whole city that would even touch my unit after seeing it. He diagnosed & fixed the issue quickly & confidently and our AC is working good as new. I cannot recommend him enough!

Corbin came out to look at my hot water heater. An alarm had gone off this morning and I had shut the water heater off. Turns out the alarm was due to a low battery alarm in my water leak sensor, which I fixed before Corbin arrived. He restarted the hot water heater and checked it over carefully. Everything was in order and the heater was/is performing as it should. Corbin was very professional and courteous. I will use Applewood for any future plumbing issues.

Do not use this group without a full quote. They convinced us to go time and materials and then charged more than we felt was reasonable. For instance they claimed 28 hours initially and when we saw the work sheet, the totals added up to 25 hours and without any deductions for lunch breaks. They had 4 on the team and yet said they had to find the office security to let them in (or out?) 3 times. Not sure why one person could not have stayed in the office if the rest had to go get supplies. Nor why they didn't bring the supplies with them. They adjusted the hours a little when we complained, but still charged more for canned lights than what we found for them through our sources and the overall work. And then immediately threatened a lien. I'd be cautious with them or you'll get some surpise billings.

I had outstanding service on an issue I had with circuit breakers tripping in our finished basement. The gentlemen took the time to thoroughly test what was causing the issue, explaining what he was looking for and seeing. He fixed the issue quickly in the best way I could hope for. He was very professional and the service fee was very reasonable. Excellent electrician!

Sean from MaxxTech checked out an issue at my house today. He showed up on time, investigated, and was clear about what the issue was. It ended up not being an electrical issue, but he still gave me a few recommendations for next steps I could take. I'm grateful and will call MaxxTech again for electric support.

An INCREDIBLY efficient and responsible company. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Top Shelf. We had a massive job that needed to be done with a complete rip-out and re-install of our Furnace. They also installed AC and upgraded our Electrical Panel. Financing was really easy and helpful and the entire process was painless.
