Brian and Brandon came to my house to install two cable jacks because a certain cable company couldn't do it. They were very nice, professional, and happy to help me decide where to put the jacks, providing several options and their professional opinion. Andreas completed a tune up and inspection on my very old furnace and I was impressed! He went above and beyond to make sure I was educated about the condition of my furnace and even gave me an estimate of repairs. He was very educated on my options and had a lot of options to choose from. He was not pushy at all with scheduling an appointment to get the work done and was also very patient with me in answering all my questions. I would definitely recommend WireNut to others and will be using them again in the future!
Technician arrived as scheduled and was very polite and professional. He identified what I needed done and thoroughly explained how they would complete the work. He was unable to complete the work on this visit because I needed a special breaker to accommodate my portable generator and outlet but we agreed that when they have the part they can come out and finish the work. Since my generator is being serviced it’s not an issue. Very satisfied right now and will update after work is complete.
On time, professional, corrected the issue. Waited until we turned on the irrigation line. Just awesome.

They reschedule & reschedule & reschedule.
I made an appointment with WireNut to come by my house on December 14th. My partner and I don't work from home, so we had to make arrangements for the meeting. On the 14th, WireNut called my partner (who stayed home) to cancel our appointment and asked us to reschedule. We again changed our plans around so we can accommodate them. My partner cleared his day and stayed home to meet WireNut on December 17th. On the day, the company called to cancel again. My partner responded by saying that we will contact WireNut when we have time for their service. The lady on the phone reacted angrily, stating why we weren’t ready for their service when we scheduled them to come in the first place. After the phone call, we reflected on what happened and if we had done anything wrong in this situation - and honestly, we didn’t.
Please WireNut, put yourselves in our shoes… We don’t want anyone judging us, let alone get attitude. Working from home may be a standard now days, but we lost money and hours trying to work around your busy schedule.
Tracy took all information over the phone about the tasks I needed to be performed. I received emails the day before and the day of the appointment, which I liked very much. Jesse called to let me know he was on his way at the beginning of my time window. He looked at the tasks and gave me a reasonable estimate, which I accepted. Then, he installed a whole-house electrical filter/surge protector and replaced an outdoor security light. He had to move things around in our breaker box to accommodate the changes needed and climb high to remove and replace our old light. He did an excellent job at all tasks, cleaned up well, and did all for a reasonable price. I highly recommend the Wirenut.
I could not have been more pleased with the quality and work ethic of Jesse. He arrived on time, he provided an expert opinion, and had great recommendations moving forward. I would highly recommend the WireNut Home Service for electrical home repair, and specifically if possible, request Jesse for service.
The woman I spoke with by phone helped me set up service at a convenient time and for a reasonable price. Dean the electrician, was very helpful and informative with his diagnostic of what needed to be done and was efficient in completing the repairs. He told us of other upgrades we might consider due to our old system for safety and efficiency.

Scheduling was easy, but the company failed to keep their appointment time and notified me 45 minutes after their scheduled arrival time that they wouldn't be able to arrive until later in the day. Since mine was the first appointment of the day, this seems like the situation could have been easily avoided with a simple courtesy call that my technician had been re-routed to an emergency somewhere else.
I'll be going with another vendor who can either keep scheduled appointments, or provide customers the courtesy of a heads up when things have to change (which is understandable and part of the business).

The Wire Nut Service team came thru for us. From the Chat , to the helpful schedulers, it went great. We had to change day's because of life, no. problem .Day of service the Techs were here within the time frame given. The service was 5 star all the way. The electrician was friendly, professional, knowledgable, and thorough. One problem. It was $437 to install 3 smoke alarms. $437. Just to install. I had purchased them myself. Maybe that is normal but I was shocked at the price. He told me the price before he installed it and I agreed to it because we had already been a week without the smoke detectors and I had had another electrician cancel on me. But I will probably shop around before I call Wire Nut again.

I was very pleased with the overall service we received from the WireNut. I requested the service via the online chat with Gavon and immediately received confirmation of my request via text once the chat was completed. Teon Greenwood did an awesome job repairing our exhaust unit in our master bathroom! He arrived on time, completed the work in a timely manner while making sure clean up the area prior to leaving. Had them out to quote for an electrical update (125 amps to 200 amps) and they charged a $79 dispatch fee that I was not told about. If you're going to have a fee, it should be upfront because I would have cancelled it. Seemed a little sketchy as well when they asked about the fee.
The guys were nice enough who came out but their quote was ungodly expensive. Over $9,000 when most other companies were quoting under $7,000 for the exact same work. Between the dispatch fee, the expensive quote, and the reviews I read - I don't trust this company enough to hire them.

Rescheduled the Friday afternoon four hour window for the same time frame on the following Monday. They were willing to accommodate me in my inability to get home before 2 but the guy was running too late for my early early bedtime. Good thing I had taken Monday off. Eric had some difficulty getting a hold of me as I use a land line and I was engaged in a noisy task in the garage where there is no phone but he did get here and got the job done. Everything went smoothly once he arrived.
I was very pleased with the professionalism of both Dean and Jesse from WireNut. They explained the process, what they were doing, and they were courteous and again, professional. I do not recommend this company.
Two weeks ago I called this company to schedule some electrical work in my home. They gave me a time window 1 week from the day I called. On that day they called to say that they would not be able to make the appointment due to an emergency that the tech was dealing with at another call. I asked to reschedule and they gave me another time and date the following week. I then had to remind the call center person that their policy was that if they did not make their appointment the initial service charge would be waived. She agreed to this request but it was obvious that she was not going to offer this to me unless I had mentioned it. She also stated that this would not happen again. Today (7/10/19) there were scheduled to be at my home for the 8-10am window. At 915am I received a call from their call center again stating that they would not be able to make their appointment and wanted to reschedule for tomorrow. At that point I knew that I was not wanting to deal with this company, they are unreliable and have no respect for their customers. Steer clear of them.
Our home was having a few strange electrical issues so we called The WireNut. Jesse showed up and handled the diagnosis and repair. The level of customer service was too notch, end to end. Everything from the text alerts, scheduling communication, staff profiles online, to the actual in-home service and digital payment process. Jesse communicated each step of the repair, was up front about pricing, and made quick work of everything. Really incredible. Proceed with confidence if you need residential service!

Joseph was on time, after he called to let me know he would be here in 30mins, just like I was told he would when I made the appointment. He was friendly and made sure to tell us exactly what he was doing and showed us pictures of what needed to be fixed. He didn't waste any time doing his job and got us in for the repair the same day, incl. having to go get the items! Great service - he is a great asset to your company!
It was a rough start at first being there was some miscommunication with times scheduled, but after I gave them a thorough explanation of the situation they were able to accommodate my needs. Jesse Sierra was my technician very professional and up front. I would recommend this company and would definitely recommend Jesse as a technician.
Dealing with this company has been one of the worst experiences of my entire life. I paid for an $8,000 job in full before they even started the job. The job was started by one electrician who was removed from the job midway, resulting in copious amounts of drywall damage that they refused to cover. Now they can’t pass inspection. In addition, they have blocked all contact with me so I can’t address the fact that I paid $8,000 for a job that’s not complete. I am now stuck paying another electrician $1500 just to bring it up to code. I genuinely feel like they took my money and ran.

Fast service! Jerrald was phenomenal! He took time to explain and diagnose the problem with the furnace. He made certain I understood everything before any work or charges were begun. They were very responsive and I would highly recommend them.
Jeff was able to come service our furnace early, and he called to see if he could come early. Which worked great. He reviewed the work he did and he explained any questions I had. I will definitely use the WireNut again.

Nothing but the best about Korey W. and Zack. Great technicians! They were personable, very knowledgeable, totally thorough and as far as we can see did an overall superb job. They were here on time and did an enormous job in good timing. They did all the paperwork, making it minimal for us. They even installed the carbon monoxide detectors throughout the house - upstairs and down. I've had others just leave them with us and we didn't know what to do with them. But these guys, were very efficient. We can't remember the last time we've enjoyed any technicians as much as we did these. I have used The Wirenut on three previous occasions at my business. Today I had them help me with an electrical problem at home. Scheduling was easy and they accommodated my schedule. Wish I could give ZERO STARS for this company. I paid for the annual package and on the 1st visit for the AC Tune up, the guy had zero knowledge about what he was doing. He ended up disabling my system on a hot summer day for 5 hours due to him incorrectly removing wires inside the furnace. They had to send a 2nd tech over to fix his mistakes. The 2nd visit, to drain the water heater, the guy was here for about 15 mins and left. Now thru their automated calling and their live reps, I've received 4 calls in 4 days, AFTER I've asked their reps NOT TO CALL ME until July for service. They really know how to harass customers!!!

The service electrician was great to work with. He was professional, friendly and courteous. He worked hard on rewiring the house, which seemed to be a very difficult task. I like how he took the time to review what he was doing and what I might need completed in the future. I am very happy with the work that was done.
Paul, the plumber, came out to fix a couple things with our water heater and did a fantastic job. He was very professional and courteous. He is also very knowledgeable in his field. Definitely recommend him and this company.

Michael Velazquez was kind enough to respond to our need for an electrician. After a light switch sparked on Saturday, followed by the breaker when reset...half our house was left without power. This left us to spend the weekend using a lantern to navigate that portion of the house. When we received a call from WireNut that they could be here today between 4 and 6 it was a relief. What was unexpected and better was a call at 10 saying that they had an electrician that could be here at 11. I promptly headed home from work to meet Michael. My impression when I came home from work and met him as he'd already made contact with my grandmother, whom we care for, was first rate. His appearance was text book. Uniform was clean, neat, pressed, and as I like to say (high and tight). He not only looked sharp, but was VERY sharp at what he did. After being shown where the issue started and finished, he quickly determined a short was likely the case. He set about proving that and had it confirmed in short order. He had us back up and running in no time, and even evaluated our whole home surge suppression system (which had also been tripped) and confirmed it was still working as expected. To top it off, my very picky dog liked him to the point that she laid down and went to sleep like she only does with family. Can't say enough good things about the work and technician. GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE!!

The technician was awesome. To begin with, he was very knowledgeable and interested in solving my electrical problem. He did the right thing by calling the previous electrician for insight, so that he didn't waste time with diagnostics. By doing this, we discovered that the problem was under a warranty. Met Korey W. at The WireNut booth at a home show where we scheduled a Furnace check for our home. Korey did a thorough inspection from the thermostat to the smallest internal parts of the furnace (something two other companies failed to do). With his great knowledge and experience, he helped us understand the ins and outs of the system, what parts were not performing to the recommended specs, and gave us an option on whether we wanted him to replace the parts and fix things on the spot or not. He did a side by side performance check with the old and new part so that we could see the difference ourselves. Korey went over and beyond in ensuring we got the best use out of our furnace, with the aim of prolonging the lifespan of the system. With the performance of this young man, this is a company we would recommend to anyone.

“BUYER BEWARE!!!! Sadly, zero stars is not an option.
When a motor in a furnace (that WireNut installed 4 years ago) died, the part was covered by a warranty and all I had to pay was labor. The repairman had to call back to the office to get the quote, and returned with a quote north of $2000. He explained that it would take the rest of the day (it was 11:30 am and he'd been at the house for an hour and a half trying to figure out what was wrong) because it was very complex. I reluctantly agreed since I didn't see any good options and a need to leave town that afternoon. He left to pick up the new part and returned at 1:30 pm. He worked for just over an hour and left at 2:50 pm. He was here for less than three hours all in. I called The WireNut because I was sure that three hours of diagnosis and labor combined couldn't possibly be $2000, but I was wrong. They say they charge by the job and not the time although the first person I talked to there said that the tech determines the price. I told them that it seemed unreasonable to pay over $600/hour because, even with overhead costs, the mark up has to be over 100%. When I told them I would go to the BBB and Next Door to make sure folks were aware that they were paying such hefty fees, they generously offered me a credit of $250 if I wouldn't do so. I told them that was unacceptable so they offered me a $500 credit if I wouldn't write anything negative AND they would not warranty the work they'd done! Adding insult to injury, they didn't even give me the 5% military discount I was due and they won't return calls. I have it on good authority that WireNut technicians pay a small set fee to WireNut and they can charge as much as they can get on top of that. STAY AWAY FROM WIRENUT!!!!”
The Wirenut always does a fantastic job, they have installed my water heater, furnace, A/C, and replaced my breaker box. They are very knowledgeable and don't steer you the wrong way. They might not be the cheapest game in town but their services, warranties, and expertise are worth it. I will definitely continue to use them.
P.S. Charles is the man! Very knowledgeable and helpful! If he does a service call at your home count yourself lucky. He will take care of you.

I received really good service. The tech completed a thorough check up on the HVAC system. He carefully examined all the electrical wiring, gas, fuses and changed the air filter. He cleaned and dusted off all the components and even swept the floor when he finished. They far exceeded my expectations. I could tell the technician really enjoyed his work, by his service and thoroughness.

The Wirenut has outstanding service. They were always accommodating not matter what questions I had or when I had them (like early Saturday morning). Jeremy and Korey were respectful of my property and kept me informed when they were leaving or had to go for parts. Their calls are all recorded for referencing if need me. Jeremy and Korey did clean professional work and even registered all of my units for me online for the warrant. I would definitely use them again even though their pricing is a little higher than the others.

It was easy for me to get an appointment for some electrical issues,when I called in to the main office. When the technician arrived he was dressed very neat and was very polite. He did a good job on the repairs and talked with me in detail about the billing, so I knew exactly what he did.

Mr. Nilsson was our technician. He was quick yet thorough and explained what was wrong, as well as providing us with 2 separate estimates. He crawled under the house 3 times in order to verify his measurements and showed us pictures of the furnace to explain what was wrong. Professional, respectful, and friendly. Would ask for him if we needed to call again.

The service tech from the Wirenut was absolutely awesome. He came out to see what my homes electrical issues were. He was friendly to talk to and was able to come up with a good plan to fix the problem. He worked outside on the coldest day of the year for hours to get the job done right and he did it well. Excellent job.
The technician arrived at our home on time and was extremely polite and well mannered. He diagnosed our electrical problem quickly and performed the necessary repair in a very timely manner. He also performed an electrical safety/energy inspection and passed along his recommendations. I really appreciated his candor, attitude and professionalism and would recommend the Wirenut.
Last week I had an issue with my furnace and called Wirenut and I received outstanding repair service from Charles. He quickly diagnosed my issues and provided options to repair or replace my heating system. Ultimately, I chose to repair my 12 year old system and Charles did an excellent job quickly fixing my issues. Just outstanding professional service!! Definitely give them a ring if you are having AC and/or Heating issues.
I really appreciate that the technician was on time for the appointment and he was also very courteous and professional. He wore the blue slippers over his shoes and was very respectful of my home. My elderly uncle called for some emergency service. They came in and did the work, and then talked him into an upgrade of a very expensive electrical panel. He was confused and gave them credit card (no contract, no signature). We found out and immediately cancelled. They are keeping most of the funds saying work was already “in-process”. So disappointed they would take advantage of the elderly like this… We’ll try and work with credit card company to make this right. Awful service.
We ways have the best experience with the wonderful staff at wirenut. They are timely, friendly knowledgeable, informative, and respectful. Jerry was punctual so. Nice to my mom and kids and educated us on our heating system before he left. Much appreciated as always
Overall experience from start to finish was highly professional. We were kept informed of our scheduled appointment via email, notified which employee would be arriving and at what time.

Jonathan was very professional and courteous. I appreciated his thorough review of how our furnace is operating once he finished his cleaning and inspection. In particular, there is a slight rattling noise the furnace is making due to normal wearing of the manufacturer-installed ball bearings. He assured me the furnace is still operating safely and that, eventually, the bearing will need replacing but not quite yet, as they are not too loud and not impacting the functioning of the equipment. I was impressed that unnecessary repairs weren't going to be made until something proved necessary. That went a long way to build trust. Wirenut became my heating and cooling service provider via their purchase of my previous vendor. I didn't not choose them. However, I had to use them because they now owned my prepaid maintenance agreement
And I still have a full year left on it. Wirenut did not show up, call, or offer an explanation for two scheduled service calls. After I had a meltdown when they did not show up for my 8am priority third appointment, the service guy finally showed up late afternoon the same day. He told me he came as soon as they called him. As aggravating as this appointments mess was, what really made me angry was the service guy, after his inspection for winter turn on, told me I had a gas leak and the drum on the furnace was too dusty and required replacement. Bear in mind my furnace is 3 years new , had been inspected each year no issues, and no noticeable gas odor. The service guy then quoted me $700 plus to do the repairs. I was stunned and told him I would get back to him. He told me not to wait too long. I then checked on Next Door for another heating and cooling provider local to my area with good reviews. Green Mountain Heating and Cooling guy Scott came over, thoroughly inspected my furnace and gave it a clean bill of health. No gas leak. Even if I replaced the dusty drum, the new one would get dusty. The bit of dust on the drum was not an issue at this time. Wirenut may own my maintenance contract but I will never do business with them again. Buyer Beware.

Joe was terrific. After installing our new light fixture only some of the bulbs came on. He uninstalled, examined the wire work and then realized the light fixture had individual on & off switches artistically disguised. Rather than be upset he laughed about it, reinstalled the fixture and handled it all with great humor and professionalism and now we know about a feature on our new light fixture that we didn't even know was there. They came recommended to us from Rich Design Homes (who have very high standards) that was good enough for us and we were not disappointed.

Todd did a great job on replacing our doorbell. You would think it would be a simple endeavor, but because the old bell was hardwired in, it called for a little more attention. The problem involved a potential fire hazard, so the entire system (exterior button, ringer, and transformer) had to be replaced. Todd was informative, personable, and careful to make sure we were completely satisfied. This is the first time we have used WireNut, but we will definitely use them for any future electrical work.
We were having electrical issues where the power in my boys room kept going out. Joe from WireNut came out and fully checked all circuits and sockets as well as the circuit breaker panel. He was very thorough in doing his diagnostic evaluation. At the end of the day, Joe found the problem to our power going out and fixed it. It turns out that we had a bad fuse in the circuit breaker panel. He was very professional and always wore shoe covers to keep our floors clean. We are very happy with the service that he provided. I feel that he and WireNut is a company that you can trust to be honest and affordable for your needs.
The electrician was very professional, diligent and hard working. He was knowledgeable about the codes and requirement and he was resourceful in making adjustments to the plan that I requested. I was very impressed with him and pleased with the results. There was a slight problem with the billing department, but it was quickly resolved.

This is the first bad review I have ever written but thought others should understand what this company does. I would give zero stars if that was possible. I don't think they understand the meaning of guarantee. The website boasts of same day service. I called on Thursday morning and was told the first available appt. was Friday afternoon. The word guarantee was mentioned. Friday afternoon I received a call telling me they had emergencies that bumped my appointment and they could not get to me. I was told they would reschedule the following week. I said but you guaranteed my appointment. I have another company waiting for you to complete the work. With that they agreed and told me an electrician would absolutely be out Saturday morning. Saturday morning I received a call telling me they received more calls and they would need to reschedule my appointment. What I learned from the call...
This company does not schedule appointments based upon first in first out. They will schedule you and keep the appointment only if another appointment with a higher price tag (what they call emergency or priority) doesn't call in to bump your appointment. They do not honor scheduled appointments and I would strongly hesitate when they say they guarantee a technician will be at your location.
Very poor customer service and scheduling unless you happen to be the chosen one who gets the priority. Schedules mean absolutely nothing to this company.
We have been without a stove for two weeks and we had to reschedule installation twice based on wire nuts failure to meet scheduled appointments. I guess cooking in your home is not a priority for this company. They must eat all their meals out.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Joseph Friel and David Hammond just completed a water heater replacement and did a great job! They went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied and the job was done 100% right. Do yourself a favor and call the Wire Nut.
Unfortunately I was very, very disappointed with my experience with this company. This job was excessively expensive and it was very problematic simply getting them to show up at all. This ended up being $1100 for a total of 2.5 hour worth of work. That was never quoted or made clear on the phone when booking.
I was on the very final leg of a basement lighting project that I finished almost entirely myself with the help of a private electrician. There was very little work that needed to be finished, very little. Two power receptacles, two wall sconces and my already pre-wired cable I did myself to be wired to a dimmer switch. That’s it. I called Wire Nut and explained the exact details of the final leg my basement lighting project needed, including light drywall repair and they said that was well within the scope of their work, so I booked them for the following weekend.
The date of my appointment came so I asked my wife to stay home from work and wait during their window of arrival. She waited the entirety of that window, nobody showed. I called 45 minutes after the window ended to see what was up and they said their technician was working on another job. Nobody called us to inform us they couldn’t make our reservation! They didn’t even apologize. That was workable, billable time my wife wasted away from work!
They said they’d wave the $79 visit fee if I re-scheduled the next week. I should have just walked away then, but after a months long project being so close to finished, I just wanted it done. So I booked the following week. They called me the night before my next scheduled visit to warn me their technician would be busy with his previous job and may not make it until mid day, instead of the schedule morning. They gave me the impression he might not show up at all...again. So I made them assure me someone, ANYONE would be at my house to finish the work they agreed they would finish weeks prior.
To his credit, the technician did his work and was respectful of my home. But he explained he could not finish the very minor drywall repairs left behind from the lighting project, which the person on the phone when I first called said was within their scope. So the project is STILL not finished and I need to hire a contractor to do work the guy on the phone said they could do. The technician then spent a pretty long time calculating the payment and gave me a number of $1300!!! When he presented the stiflingly high number for the very minimal work needed, I wasn’t going to argue with a guy when it’s the company’s fault for dishing out stringent, flat rate prices for barely any work.
I prewired the entire project myself, installed all the back cans and lighting units, had already bought all the parts, I simply needed a professional to wire two power receptacles and wire my pre-wire to a switch! $1300.
I told him I would put in the lights myself then, essentially screwing in light bulbs, to bring the number down to $1100, work that took me five minutes that they were about to charge me $200 to do.
Wire Nut was at my house for 2.5 hours and charged me $1100, that’s $440 per hour for wiring a dimmer switch and two receptacles.
My basement lighting project is still unfinished, I have to find another contractor to repair drywall Wire Nut damaged and couldn’t repair and I had to stomach an expensive job that took under three hours of work.
Julien and Daniel were extremely professional and efficient installing my new furnace and air conditioner. They finished the job in very good time. they explained the new system, answered all of my questions and did a great job with clean up.

Our home is over 32 years and knew our furnace was wearing out and hadn't been inspected, in a very long time. We ca;;ed WireNut and they were very prompt and informative of when the service rep would be at our home and even text us of who would be knocking at our door. The service rep was very friendly and thorough. Took photos on an iPad to show me while I was watching, of rusty deposits that were leaking CO2 !!. He also showed that blower motor was leaking oil. Bottom line, its time for a new furnace. Normal furnace lasts 15 years and we lucked out having one go for 32 years. He was sincere to our needs and gave us several options on a new furnace and possible payment plans. No sales pressure. Good experience .

I have used WireNut in the past (for installing new recessed lighting) and the experience was fine. However I have been trying to schedule them to fix a faulty outlet for over 4 weeks and they have called and cancelled my appointment on very short notice 3 separate times. I finally asked what kept causing the scheduling changes and the scheduling dispatcher informed me that she couldn’t guarantee any appointment slot would be kept - that they schedule on their end based on priority of the call regardless of the planned schedule. I could theoretically continue to be rescheduled indefinitely if they deemed other calls for service as higher priority.
I would have sympathy for this if it had happened once or twice but allowing it to happen three times just shows a disregard for their customer's time and schedule. Really disappointed with this experience because the tech I worked with the first time did well, but their approach to scheduling is not worth it.
Update: Someone from their customer service team did reach out to me to explain that they are currently short staffed which is exacerbating the scheduling issue. Added a star because I appreciate the follow up even if it didn't resolve the issue.

Benjamin and Nico were super knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We would have hired them to do the job, but unfortunately, we found the pricing (even with a coupon discount) to be too expensive and decided not to hire WireNut.
They were an hour late to the appointment but called ahead to let me know and provided me great service. My ceiling fan now works again. the technician was very courteous and performed a thorough inspection of my fan to get it working again. There was some trouble shooting and an hour later, it was up and running. Great service at a great value.

What a bummer. Had an appointment, waited two weeks for the tech to come out because apparently they are too busy to do anything in a reasonable span of time, and when I called at the end of my service window because he hadn't shown up yet, I get told oh the tech cancelled your appointment yesterday, we can get you back in a week from now. Nobody told me! I even got a confirmation text yesterday saying I'll get a call when he's on the way to make sure I'm home! Well sorry, that's not going to work, I'll call a company that won't make me wait three weeks.

I live in a 1930's Bungalow and needed an electrician to take a look at my aged breaker box and replace some light fixtures. Looking through the phone book, I called two companies only to get the run around when asking about pricing. I called The WireNut, and from start to finish, I experienced nothing but top notch customer service. Kory and Aron did a great job here today. Very professional and thorough. I wish I could rate punctuality high, but it took several attempts on several days to finally get here. This isn’t a criticism of Kory or Aron as much as scheduling. I fully realize that inspections can find major problems that take time and thus delay other inspections. Scheduling needs to be able to adjust and reroute other techs to meet specified times given to customers.
This isn't the first time we used Wirenut, and each time they did a great job. Brandon Ganow and his partner today 12/19/19 were in and out in no time. They were polite and professional and did the job on how it should be done, they replaced two ceiling light fixtures. Wirenut did a complete new breaker box install for us in 2014, which we badly needed and our electricity has been running good since then. If you use a company more than ounce of course that's a recommendation.
Horribly expensive and not punctual! Called at 8:30am on a Wednesday, they told me someone would be there by 12pm. No phone calls, I called back three times and they said, The technician got held up and will be there after their previous job. He had unforeseen work. Dispatch called at 4:30pm and said the guy wasn't coming today, but I'm on the list for first thing in the morning. The $120 cost for the tech showing up was going to drop to $60 since they were coming the following day.
Thursday morning the tech shows up and I explain the situation. The tech then tells me that he needs to do a diagnosis for $389 (includes a minor repair). So $59 for him to show up and $389 for diagnosis (includes a minor repair)? $440 and they haven't done anything yet! I told the tech there is no way in hell I'm paying that.
If you like paying through the nose and poor scheduling these are your guys!
I have been using Wirenut for several years and there are reasons I keep using them. They are friendly professionals who know what they are doing and do it right the first time. Today was the first time I used them for plumbing and they sent Paul Hardy who arrived with a shadow for the day a little early. They were, as usual, very good. I always wince a bit at the price, but it’s not high enough for me to even consider shopping around. I know what to expect from Wirenut and I’m a satisfied customer.
Benjamin Montoya and the two different techs who came out with him during two days of work were great! He performed the work exact to the estimate and made some energy saving recommendations for us to consider down the road. Good guy! Good team!

I am extremely frustrated with Wirenut wanting to reschedule every appointment I’ve made. I received a call the morning of my scheduled appointment, which I’ve scheduled weeks in advance asking to reschedule for 2 weeks later. This is the 3rd time in less than a year I have had this situation with WireNut. Service was as expected , but I’m considering ending my contract due to lack of consideration by Wirenut for my schedule. Very poor customer experience with your dispatch department, no way to escalate to management when I was told “we can’t guarantee your appointment “.

The technician was great and very thorough in the work he performed. However it was very expensive in my opinion. $250.00 to change a single switch light switch that took all of ten minutes is highway robbery. I'll take some courses on this type of stuff going forward vs. getting hit in the wallet so hard for a simple repair.

Expect to pay top dollar for parts and service. They have flat fee rates that aren't transparent (even to their techs) and nearly always recommend full replacement of whatever they're repairing, even if it's not warranted (based on my experience and others I know). We were quoted a $19k replacement of our furnace, when another company fixed the issue for $800 total.
Tip: If you ever need a refund, they can't refund to credit card, but will cut you a check. Checks are signed on Fridays and then mailed. That process was smooth, but communication of that timeline was poor.
Staff are very nice, though.
The technician was great, thorough and knowledgeable. The pricing, however is a total ripoff. There is a fee to show up and offer an opinion, which is understandable.
They charged me $1,450 to pull wire 3 feet through the wall to the breaker box and and change the breaker! 1.5 hours. And I myself bought the wire and the breaker from Home Depot! This wasn't a RUSH, or EMERGENCY, or SUNDAY. That's it!
BEWARE. The tech was excellent. The bid will make you regret the call.
Go somewhere else.
Benjamin and Jesse were awesome! They provided quality work in a timely manner. I think you pay more for Wirenut's services, but based on reliable people like Benjamin and Jesse, I think it is worth the extra cost.

Teon was very knowledgeable and helpful with our home project. He explained what was needed and the cost associated. I am very satisfied with the work completed by Teon. He also has amazing customer service and was very polite. He shared some ideas on ways to improve our use of electricity and things they can do in the future with our other projects we have. He also cleaned up and was particular to detail. It looked like he wasn’t even there. The only complaint was the cost as it was far more than I expected but that wasn’t something Teon could control. But overall I feel better having Teon do the project than trying to figure it out. Especially since he made sure our new electrical work was up to code and safe! I will definitely use WireNut Home Services in Colorado Springs again and ask for Teon.
We had several small electrical problems in our house, so i called the Wirenut based on what many other people were saying about them. They sent John, who was really good, very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained each procedure (cost and process). This was the best experience I have had with a contractor in a long time. Love Wirenut. They’ve done an excellent job everytime they’ve paid us a visit. We’ve had all our electrical done by them, they maintain our furnace, and do regularly scheduled maintenance visits. Joseph Friel and Billy Ogburn were terrific. They explained thoroughly about the results they found with our furnace and let us know about problems as well as set us up with an appointment with another tech to give us further options. Excellent service and would recommend them without a doubt.
TOTAL FRAUD ALERT! - Please do not use this company. We had them come out to our house to check a light flickering in the kids bathroom. They stated they had to complete a diagnostic test to figure out the issue and pulled over 10 switches/sockets out and broke 90% of them. They then stated they needed to bring everything in house up to code and fix all these issues we suddenly had and it would be $12K+ worth of items, including replacing the electrical panel and all the wiring in the house. They indicated they could not fix the broken/exposed outlets without doing all the improvements because once they touched it, their license was at risk with the State of Colorado if they left it in its current condition. They further told us there was nothing wrong with the light in the bathroom, it was simply the type of lightbulb. Once he replaced the light bulb, it worked fine. All of this took place at 5:15 in the evening and we were looking at over 11 switches and outlets open with exposed wires stating he would not fix unless we agreed to all the improvements. We had them leave and got a friend who is an electrician to come replace the switches/outlets he broke and turn the power back on. Everything is working fine now. Please do not use this company. If you have them out to your house and be sure to watch them at all times.

Had the furnace checked. Asked about a couple of items in our home. Did not feel like technician was trying to sell us something else. He answered our questions and suggested a few things. Feel like he cared about his customers.

Todd and his apprentice Jose were fantastic! They were professional and a personable. Todd was educating me on what I did right and wrong (mostly wrong lol) when changing my receptacles and gave me some electrical insight. He was funny too. They fixed my goof ups and I highly recommend them. I will use them again!
Got a quick quote today, getting the work done tomorrow. I have a secure facility, so I appreciate the fact that they send you a picture of your tech ahead of time so you know who to open your door to.

Julian, did a very good job evaluating my heater. He showed me pictures of how the furnace has reached the end of It's usefulness and in the near future could be harmful. He is a very capable technician and worked up a number of estimates for different levels of furnaces. Wirenut has done electrical work for me but this is the first time for the heating/air conditioning department. This must mean the entire company maintains an integrity in the quality of work WIRENUT provides.

Korey W came over to do yearly maintenance on our furnance when he inspected our water heater and noticed it was leaking he suggested some things we could do. He wasn’t pushy at all he gave us a lot of information, and helped us get the questions we had answered about our water heater. He was also pretty cool guy over all & made the appt easy for my husband and i. We have gotten our AC, furnance, and now our new water heater through this company & we highly recommend them & Korey W. You won’t be disappointed.
I really appreciate their service and honesty. They honored their warranty on a track light that had failed after their initial repair. It seems to be fixed now. I also had a new electrical problem that needed attention. The tech that did the work was courteous and efficient.
A technician named Chris came to look at a broken air condition unit and install a new thermostat in my condo. He was courteous. After looking at the unit for about an hour, he said he would look for the parts I needed and call me when and if they were available in the next day or so. If the parts were not available he quoted me the price of a new unit at 8 to 10 thousand. What? 8 to 10 thousand dollars for an air conditioner? I thought he was joking! He charged me about 200 dollars for the diagnosis. Although, he did try and explain the problem he failed to leave any kind of documentation for the diagnosis. Furthermore, after installing the thermostat, he left it hanging from the wall by the wires.
After 3 or 4 days of not hearing anything back from Chris, I called the company and asked about the status of the parts. Chris called me and said he would let me know by the following day at the latest. He never called. Another 3 or 4 days pass and I call again, and again I was told they would let me know the next day. Nothing. At this time I had to leave town for a few weeks and when I returned I called them again, and I was told I would hear from him the next day. He blew me off again. I called back and now I'm getting irritated. Who does business like this?
Finally, Chris leaves me a message in which he says he called me weeks ago and left a message, which he didn't, and the parts were unavailable. They can't fix it. If I wanted the price of a new unit I would once again have to call the company back. At this point I'm just done. I don't trust this guy or the company and definitely don't want to do any further business with them. So, basically they ripped me off for 200 bucks and my house is very hot. Avoid this company at all costs!
The call center staff was very helpful in assisting me with getting an appointment right away. It was nice to get them to come out to my home within 24 hours of my call, so i could get the electrical issues repaired. The tech gave me his advice on replacing some fixtures that are quite old. They provided me very good service for what I needed.

Adam was our tech. Really liked him. He was friendly, courteous and had a good attitude towards helping us find the solution to our needs. He was not quick to say something couldn't be done. He was very interested and committed to finding the right solution.

I called today at 12PM, 04/27/2018 for this company to fix the switch in the bathroom because it wouldn't turn on. The technician, Benjamin, was present with someone else were looking to solve the problem, however they didn't have the equipment present with them. Benjamin sent the other person with him to get the equipment (multi meter), this was taking a very long time, and I, the owner was present as this was all happening. They asked me if I knew where the breaker box was, and I said yes and told me to turn it off. Benjamin quickly reconnected some wires and the other person was still in the van and wasn't helping. Then Benjamin told me to turn the breaker box on again, and then some buzzing noises occurred and eventually, an explosion. I was yelling at Benjamin that an explosion had occurred, however, he didn't hear me, resulting in me having to go back to the bathroom to tell him. He went to open the breaker box and saw that some of the cables were broken. I believe this was due to an overcharge of electricity. I wanted to leave it at that, however, Benjamin was telling me that due to what had happened now it would be a 6-8 hour job. The problem was in the breaker box, but the box didn't have broken wires. There then was a second electricity spark that happened inside the house that the tenant saw. Immediately after the technicians left, I contacted their office and I explained what had happened, and they said they were going to try to find a solution for me. They were trying to find someone close that would come. They had said they would call me, and I never got a call back. I called twice and customer service waited with me on the line and said they would talk to the manager. I waited on the line for 5 minutes and the representative said she would call me back in 30 minutes. She called me back to tell me that Benjamin did a correct job and there was no need to call anyone, but if I wanted a second opinion they were going to charge me $260 more. The problem is Benjamin overheated the breaker box when it hadn't had broken wires prior to him being there to fix it. I called their office number once more so I could get the bill and a receipt to get information over the work they had done, and I still haven't received anything. My big concern about all this is that I rent that house, i don't live there, and Benjamin just put something temporary on the breaker box and I'm afraid that something bad will happen due to him having made the problem worse. Very unimpressed with this service.

Andreas has been here three times and as all the other service techs, he is prompt, courteous and does a great job. Would recommend the WireNut to anyone looking for good service.
I just wanted to share about the experience I had with Jason M. I was having difficulty understanding why my power was going out in the living room and dining room of a new townhouse that was built in November 2017. Jason did a fabulous job of trying to diagnose the problem and in the process showed his true colors by being patient and persistent. The builders were saying it was WireNut's fault as they installed a new outlet. But in the end it ended up being the builder who put a nail into the wire during construction and it was causing the outages. Jason was always very polite, punctual, and quite the problem solver. I highly recommend Jason and the WireNut company.
The service they provided was a blessing for us and so was the technician. Getting a professional technician is top notch and his interaction with our family. We have been fighting this electrical problem since 2003. He went above what we expected. Good job and quality work.

Good luck getting them to actually come to your house. I scheduled a time for them to come to my house and give me a quote for some services. Leading up to the scheduled date and time they hounded me to be present (via text and email) and told me if I weren’t present they would need a CC number in case I wanted to authorize work. Since I didn’t want to do that, I made time to be at the house in the three hour window they gave me. One hour before that window closed they called me and said they needed to reschedule. Alright, no problem, but I can’t be present and I’m not giving a CC number. They say that’s no problem and I reschedule. Two days later, when they are scheduled to come out, they call and say they have to reschedule again. No thanks. They offered $20 to compensate for the problems, but why would I bother attempting to reschedule with a group when there’s plenty of other electricians in this city who do want business.
I had a great experience with WireNut today. Very impressed with the technician, Teon and his knowledge of his trade. He did a great job and in a timely manner.
I am so glad that I called the Wirenut. the scheduling was easy and the service was excellent. The electrician spent an entire day working diligently and did a great job. I will definitely call them again for all my homes electrical needs.
The service tech was punctually within his window for arrival. He fixed everything that I had called the Wirenut to take of. He even went out and purchased the right fluorescent bulb to fit my laundry room fixture. I found him to be knowledgeable, friendly and on task. I had a great experience with the elctricians. They techs arrived within hours of me placing the appointment call and they gave me a 30 minute prior to arrival call. They very thoroughly checked the heating system before diagnosing the problem, fixed the issue and explained any potential future problems. The price for the service was very reasonable.
My 1960s condo just received a great update from The Wirenut. The electrician, Jared, was professional -- on time, cleaned up any messes, explained in layman's terms what was going on -- and finished four work areas remarkably quickly. The dispatch/invoicing system was integrated and the technology helped me see what I'd pay for before the job even started. The level of service and competence shown by everybody I encountered at The Wirenut is far and beyond the best I've seen in years. Stellar!

I would definately recommend The Wire Nut. We were having a problem with our AC staying on so we called The Wire Nut. Charles Dozeman was our technician and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He diagnosed our problem, explained what needed to be fixed and answered every question I had. I will definately use this company in the future because of how sincere and honest Charles came across and he left my furnace area cleaner then how he found it.
I have honestly had one of the most painful experiences of my life dealing with this company. They have cost me 12 days on a 1.5 month long project, as we had to wait to do work to get inspections done, fix faulty work, and get up to code after failing multiple inspections. Their ineptitude and lack of inter-office communication is truly incredible.
I called them in need of electrical work my contractor ran into after taking out some walls. We were moving in a week, so while their quote was very high, they said they could get the work done quickly so we were willing to pay the premium. The deal was to get the work done in a day or two, call in the inspection right after they finished, and get out. Instead they initially faxed the permit, which takes 3 days, once this was rectified (-3 days due to weekend) they got the address wrong on the permit (-4 days).
We then moved in and several outlets didn't even work. They hadn't even traced all the lines they worked on to make sure everything was working. They came back out and fixed it (-6 days) but then failed the final inspection twice because what they had done wasn't up to code (-11 days). After fixing it they forgot to call for an inspection (-12 days), which is the third time this happened. The work was finally completed ultimately costing me almost two weeks and a lot of heartache.
Everyone has been friendly when dealing with them but to need them to come out four different times and screw up calling in permits/inspections 3 different time is ridiculous. I would recommend going with someone else if you have any choice whatsoever.

I had a new high efficiency furnace installed, which is great. The problem of using solar for space heating was eliminated, since the furnace is 95 percent efficient as is and any savings would be negligible. Great product and wonderful service they gave me.
I'd give a Zero star if that were an option. Wirenut people are a bunch of crooks. Outwardly charming and professional but told us we had a crack way back there that you probably can't see and made up a faulty claim that we had Carbon Monoxide and needed a new furnace ASAP (showed me a reading that they had doctored). Always get a second opinion when dealing with these shady characters as we had another company test and there is NO carbon monoxide and we don't need a new furnace. That just saved us 6K! Thank you Furnace World (the ethical company we will use from now on).

They were able to come out a couple days before they were scheduled to, but I had to stick with our scheduled time.
They completed all the work, setting up an electrical system for a hot tub, in one day. They put in a new breaker box out near the hot tub, and set up the 220. They made sure everything passed the cities inspection and was 100% finished prior to collecting the 2nd half of the payment. That made me feel very comfortable working with the.
I also signed up for the maintenance package for the furnace and water heater too.
They are more expensive than most, but they use top of the line products, have a good track record, and back their work. I'd recommend them to anyone!
Koreyn and AAron W. came by today and inspected our furnace. I felt they were very thorough with their review of my furnace. They also took their time to answer all my questions. I will have them back next year and for any other services we require. Thanks.
Quality of work was professional, but their prices are VERY expensive. I had an outlet put into the floor of my family room (hardwood floor) and total charges were, I'm embarrassed to say, almost $600 ($300/hour). Technician did great work, but $600? Stupid me for agreeing to it, but I just wanted it done. They have a set pricing schedule so ask for the price of what you need done before they show up and you are $60 (or $600) in the hole. I will shop around next time and most likely not be using these guys.

I received the best hands down electrician, cable guy, maintenance person I have ever called to my house. He was thorough, didn't treat me like I was an idiot and talked to me how a professional should treat a customer. When I call the Wirenut again, i am going to ask for this same electrician. He should be doing all the field training.
Andreas Nilsson was extremely knowledgable, informative, took a lot of time to explain things to me and even enjoyed sharing his expertise with my 7 year old son! He is an excellent HVAC technician and man. I recommend him and The WireNut!
The service technician was excellent on this service call. He performed a significant amount of electrical work and when there were questions, he asked to ensure my expectations were being met. He was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about his job.
It was great to be able to get a same day appointment. The tech called prior to arrival and was very prompt. He explained the issues well and quickly finished his work. He suggested, and did not push, improvements for the future.
Jerrald showed up in a timely manner to perform an annual service on my furnace. I especially liked the fact that he was clean and courteous, making it a point to cover his boots before walking around inside my home. After completing the service, Jerrald informed me of Wire Nut’s $99 annual HVAC service plan, which covers your furnace, AC compressor, and water heater. I was already expecting to pay $69 for the worked performed on my furnace, so an extra $30 to cover all the aforementioned items was a no-brainer. Thanks for the outstanding service and the overall cost savings!
We had gotten an estimate to do what would ultimately be very minor work, a day and a half tops and was quoted $12k to do. When looking over the itemized quote, they wanted a thousand dollars per 100amp electrical panel, which is maybe $100 from home depot, then wanted a couple thousand to install each one.
Went with a smaller electrician for exactly the same job, inspection and all, for $1500. Let this serve as a reminder to always get a competing bid.

My tech arrived at the time frame given. She introduced herself, went over the problem with my furnace and went to fix it. It was obvious she enjoyed her job. She fixed the problem quickly and did the checkup. She was efficient, pleasant and explained what was wrong and how it was fixed. i am very pleased
The Wirenut staff called me in advance of the appointment to let me know the electrician was on his way. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He was very thorough in locating and resolving the cause of the electrical issue.

The technician, Steve, inspected the damage, reviewed xcel's suggested work plan and electrical work we had been putting off for years. It was a big job and Steve was there every morning for 2 full weeks, working diligently until all the work was done. We are very happy the work the did for us.

I have used the Wirenut a few times and have requested the same technicians. These two guys always go above and beyond to bring me comfort in my home in whatever I need electrically. They make a great team and I am always happy to have them in my home.
Brendon hit the deck running when he arrived at my house. He quickly understood the electrical tasks I had in mind and described the options for service levels. With the price agreed upon, he went straight to work. First he removed a busted ceiling fan, assembled a new fan and reinstalled it. Next he completed a behind the wall wiring for a flat screen tv and installed everything.

I had two ceiling fans installed as well as the Powerworkx system. The service guy was efficient, friendly and amendable to questions. Their service was very good, which was typical to all of my experiences with them the last three years..
Jared called ahead of time to tell us when he would arrive. He wore his yellow booties , checked to see what the problem was, and completed the work according. I contacted wirenut in order to have a ceiling fan (with light fixture) installed. Additionally, I also had a ceiling electrical outlet installed in the living room. The technician (Teon) showed up on time and was fully equiped and ready to do the work. After a few questions, and a brief overlook on the site, he described the work that was to be accomplished and quoted me a price that came in well below what I was estimating. Work was completed in an accurate and timely manner. I would say this all exceeded my expectations, but this is the kind of service I expect from the wirenut folks. This is my second experience with the company, and it certainly will not be the last. Kudos to Teon for a job well done and to wirenut for providing the best customer support and workmanship.

I replaced my electric stove with a new dual fuel stove and the electrical box needed to be relocated. The electrician did an excellent job moving the existing surface mount box to an inside the wall receptacle. He worked in tight quarters and cleaned up after himself. He did a very clean job.
Most recent visit from Jarod is Dec 10, 2019 and he work hard again. He came another time Dec. 4, 2019 to check and make sure everything was working well and to give bid for new work that will start next week. Jarod continues to be an exceptional person to work with us on major rewiring of our 100 year old house. He came back another time to make some adjustments because of the way we need to use certain outlets. His communication with me has always been excellent as has the communication of the whole company.
They sent out 2 guys to get a new furnace installed. They did a great job. The system was somewhat complicated as a solar panel system was also involved. They knew what they were doing, without any issues and got everything working just fine.
Andreas Nilsson and Jared Hanes were very patient as questions were asked by my me and my wife. Andreas was looking at our heating and AC units while Jared was checking out our out dated Union Pacific circuit breaker. They worked well together and were able to provide a quote for everything us while they were here. They were respectful and answered all of our questions in detail so there was no confusion.
Excellent company with outstanding employees. From the first phone call to the point when the service man arrived. I recieved a text with a picture of the service man to combat fraudulent work. My case was complex as the house recieved a lightning strike a few days prior. The tec. Went to work analyzing the problems and came to the best solution... Also the one that would save the most $$. He exsplained everything in a very professional manner. I would recommend wire nut to all those in Kings Deer or any home owner exposed to the lightning from these Colorado storms. I was lucky this time as I had a surge protector in the power box but it did nothing!!! I chose to upgrade the the surge protector that Wire Nut recommends with a warranty that covers the home owner from loss of major appliances. If you own a home in Colo. And do not have a surge protector. You may be looking at 10s of thousands of dollars in replacement costs. If nothing else have them come out to your house for a check up to see if you have the protection you need in case of a lightning strike!-

I am hopeful that Andreas fixed the problem with the leaky humidifier that has been happening intermittently for a couple of years. One of the problems I noticed when he was working was that the hot water heater placement kind of blocked access to the humidifier filter. Andreas was able to move the heater a few inches and change the filter. It seems to be working fine now.
Todd was great. From the start he approached our home with a smile. Not only was he friendly but efficient and knowledgeable on how to improve our home. Thank you for the great service.

Paul Hardy came to locate a water leak that reeked havoc and has caused damage in my home. Paul was so friendly it put me at ease. He assessed the area, found the location of the leak. He answered all my questions. When he left, there was no more water leaking.

Technician came to my house and quoted me between $300 and $400 per hour for a HDMI cable replacement job. When I told him it was too much, he said that was the going rate and good luck finding a licensed and certified technician to do the same work for less. Needless to say, I found several places that can do the same job and landed on one licensed and certified company that completed the work for 1/3 the price at $125/hour. In addition, the company I ended up going with helped me find a better solution that will help me avoid a similar problem in the future, something the Wire Nut technician never thought to suggest (though the Wire Nut tech did try to sell me on items I didn't ask for or need). When I called to complain about the price I was quoted, I was told a manager would call me back. No call ever came.

I had to get an electrical out fixed in the kitchen. When I called in to set up an appointment, the appointment setter was friendly and professional. The tech came out the day, diagnosed the problem, told me the cost for repair and was able to finish it fairly quickly.

They rescheduled an appointment when I had already been waiting over 2 hours into the 3 hour window. When I said I think I will go with another electrical contractor because I could not reschedule they offered to waive the dispatch fee. They NEVER said there was a dispatch fee when I scheduled the appointment in the first place. Needless to say I went with another electrical service. I took time off to meet them in their 3 hour window.

My experience with all the electricians has been great. I am having trouble with the electrical inspector with the city and county of Denver. This is not a problem with anything that the Wirenut did. He needs to see the ufer inspection sign off and the building inspector took the card.

We called the WireNut for a cable jack install in our basement. Work was done well but the price was extremely expensive. They charge $59 to come out and then write a quote for the requested work. They ended up charging us $391 to put in one jack in the basement and run one wire from outside with no access panel. The technician was there for approximately 2.5 hours. Essentially the WireNut charged $156/hour for the work. The material cost in this case was minimal so labor was the majority of the work.
I essentially equate the price we paid to highway robbery and would not recommend the WireNut to anyone in the future.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Our first service with wire nut was a good one - when we called for another service (wiring one gfi outlet) the technician quoted $610. When we refused this ridiculous amount the technician reduced the amount to $265 to wire the gfi. We had the service completed for this amount. We then found a coupon in our mail for $79 for this service. I called to lodge a complaint- it took three calls to reach some one who had the authority to speak to me - he indicated that they would refund $100 as the coupon was only for regular outlets. That was 1.5 months ago - still no check!

The electrician that did the work at my house took care of everything for me. It was great. The cost was a little pricey, but it was well worth the peace of mind for the dollars spent. This is my go to company. With the quality of service, I won't call anybody else.

Jonathan did a super, thorough job checking both of our furnaces today. He explained what he was doing and answered our questions on how we can keep them functioning efficiently.
Jesse and George made a service call on 11/14/18 at my residence. They performed the required repairs to ensure all switches and outlets on one circuit operate efficiently and safely. Their attention to detail avoided additional costly repairs.
When Jerry arrived he was supposed to look at my air cinconditio but focused in my furnace, it's summer time and I wasn't worried about my furnace, I wanted him to look at my air conditioner which he never did. He told me the dispatch charge was 29.99$ and then said anything else would be 69.99$ I told him I was willing to pay the 69.99$ and then ataed that the diagnidiag fee was 289.0$ when I asked him to explain the process and what they entaled he did not. I grew so frustrated with his lack of knowledge and vauge answers that I simply told him that I would never utilize the services of wire nut again.
I am disgusted with this blantent attempt at ripping my elderly mother off that I will never use Wire Nut again. I only have one star to this company because I have to to post .But truly this company gets 0 stars from me. I want a complete refund of what I paid them.
Ben came out to do an initial evaluation on my electric needs. He was punctual and very friendly, based on the pricing options we are scheduled to get out electric needs completed.
Awesome experience. Estevan was the tech. He called me twice on the way to my house so I knew when he would be there. Friendly, fixed the issue quickly and cleaned everything up.
Joseph was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He showed and explained everything that he was doing during my heating system and hot water heater winterization.

These guys tried to scam us by telling us our house was aluminum wired and not grounded and was preparing us for a huge financial burden to rewire the entire house. We had another professional look at the house and he showed us that the house is wired with copper and is grounded. It is very unprofessional that they would try take advantage of new home owners.

I called the Wire Nut to look at an old outdoor light fixture that kept causing the breaker to trip when I turned it on. The electrician they sent over was easy to talk to and arrived on time. He began looking into my issue and after looking at it he was confident that he could fix this issue and quoted me a price of $282 which I agreed to and would have been happy to pay for resolving the issue. The electrician charged this amount to my credit card before he started working. However after about 10-15 minutes after he began working and appartently looking at it more he realized that it was a larger issue that would be more work. I asked for him to give me a quote and he sat down looking at apparently what was a listing of pricing out various jobs that there company has. It took him over an hour to price out two different solutions to fixing my outdoor light. One of them was for roughly $1,200 and the other was for $1,800. I would not consider this to be a project by any stretch either. I am not an electrician nor have a I had a lot of electrical work done but this is essentially just fixing an outdoor light that had bad wiring that is right by a brand new electric box and my entire house has new electrical aside from this outdoor light.
I thought the price was high so I said that I would think about it. I mean he said they could redo most of the electrical inside my house for about 5k so I thought 1-2k for an outside light was high.
I would not have had an issue with most of this if I would have only had to pay the $50-$70 that a service call costs, although this took him around 2 hours all and all essentially to diagnose the problem and give me a quote, but he charged me essentially $282 for a quote on the issue and would not refund the money and only offered to subtract it from the cost if I went ahead and had them fix it.
I believe that they kind of pulled one over on me saying they could fix something for an amount, charging me and then quoting me something else. I would be extremely cautious if you are considering using this company.

Company is a hoax. I do not recommend. They have very poor communication. I have tried canceling services for almost a week and everytime I call, they are in a meeting. They took a deposit with out anywork and are now wanting 15% of it just to cancel. No contract as signed, no scope of work was ever provided.
The service man was great. He explained what he was doing clearly and was really easy to talk to. He was knowledgeable but wasn't afraid to say I don't know', instead of making something up. He finished the job and made sure everything was working properly.
Jonathan is a very knowledgeable and informative young man. Thank you for having such professional and courteous people in your organization. I am very grateful for all he tried to accomplish with my furnace. Unfortunately it has some issues... if I can get any assistance by any of the programs out there, I would really appreciate if I could request Jonathan in the future. Thank you all so very much.

I highly recommend Brian. He contacted us in advance. Showed up on time. Listened to our problems and concerns. Had several great ideas to solve our problems. Was very positive, and explained all options to us. We are looking forward to our installation tomorrow.
Wirenut sent a pleasant, competent electrician who did good work and was prompt and courteous. However, their pricing is both WAY high and overly complicated. The electrician spent as much time messing with codes on his smart phone to try to get the billing right as he did making the electrical repairs. And the $59 service call fee WAS added to the repair fee, although the person who made the appointment for me assured me that it would be included against the actual cost of repairs. My inital fee was $347. I complained and made out a check for $288 (taking off the $59). The tech spent another ten minutes with codes on his phone and then came up with a $272 bill. Sorry, but I will not be using these folks again.

Teon did not give up trying to find our circuit outage problem. He even crawled through loose insulation in our attic for 15 minutes tracing wires and finally found an aluminum wire heading down toward our bathroom which he then discovered to be a copper wire in the bathroom. So, he knew that there must be a hidden junction box in the wall. He found it and exposed it and discovered a burned out meshwork of various wires with charred and smelly remains that was the cause of our outage. We were lucky that it had not caused a house fire!
Jason finished our job in a timely fashion. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and good at what he does. I definitely recommend The Wire Nut!
As a general contractor of over 10 years, I do not believe the company is capable of managing any work that requires a permit or is complex in nature. The electrician performing the work (Ben) was easy to work with, communicated well, and provided a great installation that easily passed inspection. My compliant lies with the permitting/inspection process for a $14,000 project involving a new 200A service to my outbuilding. Inspection has been called for by The Wire Nut three times, and either no one was present for the inspection, or the permit card was not on-site. As of today, after 8 business days of trying to get this inspection performed, I finally went to the Arapahoe County building department, paid a $42 re-inspection fee on the permit originally obtained by The Wire Nut, obtained a duplicated permit card, and scheduled my own trench and meter inspection so I can bury the line that has been open for 5 weeks myself just so I can get this project over with. I'm sure the company is great for adding light fixtures, outlets, or even a panel swap, but I would be very wary of hiring them for a project of any complexity or size.
The experience with the Wirenut technician was professional. He was courteous, efficient and focused on the tasks. He was informative on code requirements and made sure everything was done according to these requirements.
Paul was an excellent electrical technician, he was very knowledgeable of all our electrical needs and pointed us in the right direction, I give Paul and all of wirenut crew a big thank you for the A+++ quality they delivered.

The service electrician completely explained all the work that needed to make the electrical up to code. He did not rush through the job, but rather made sure it was done in a timely manner with quality work.
Chance Seymour in Colorado Springs did an excellent job replaceming the outlets in my kitchen to GFCI, he was quick and clean and provided really good service. I would hire him again for any electrical needs I have.
Jeremy and Scott did a thorough and professional job on correcting the problems in a new furnace that had been installed by a different company . They worked all day to bring it into code so that Aurora would grant it a permit, which the other company had not even requested a permit.
They responded immediately on a Sunday night during the biggest storm of the season. Diagnosed the problem, gave us temporary power for the night and finished the entire job in 2 days. They kept us informed, updated and gave us an estimate before starting any work. Thanks to all concerned in our service!
I had a ceiling fan replaced and an attached greenhouse was without electricity. the technician found the problem and fixed it. The technician was sweet and cleaned up all his work mess, which wasn't much. I felt badly that he had to ask for lights and that he had to put on booties on the inside of the house
Michael V. replaced a melted chime, and figured out how to use the remnants of the old Vivint system to install a new Remo video door bell. Was quick and thorough. No complaints.
I was not there, but my mother said Andreas was very polite and explained clearly what he needed to do.

No showed on Wednesday came on Friday totally took advantage of my 73 year old mother. Charged 500 dollars to do a little troubleshooting and replace 2 GIF stations and a smoke detector battery. Then wanted 800-2000 dollars to run a wire to some outside lights. Total RIP OFF COMPANY RUN AWAY

We had an appointment scheduled for over a week now, with a window time of 1PM-4PM (today) to have a technician diagnose our air conditioner. At 3:30 PM, I called to get an update as we received no notification, voicemail and/or call as to what the ETA was. The customer service rep reported that she would call us back with an update. Leticia called back and reported that she could schedule us for NEXT WEEK. When I asked Leticia why no one called us to report the delay, she reported that she just now found out that the technician was behind. If I could give this company no star, I would. Absolutely ridiculous and AWFUL customer service. Thank goodness for the BBB.

Wirenut did work in my house summer 2011. Spring 2012 there was a problem. Wirenut came out and repaired the problem at no charge to me. The work was quite extensive because it wasn't done right the first time. I appreciated that they fixed it.
Joseph troubleshooted my water heater to find it was much older than I knew. He found corrosion in many places, hence, his inspection prevented the unit from causing damage to my floor, etc. I’m getting a new water heater installed tomorrow. Thank you.
Ben helped my mom with an electrical problem, He was quick, courteous and fixed the problem in under an hour. I would definitely use WireNut in the future for any electrical needs.

had them out (Vinzent) on 12/28/20 was told they cleaned furnace and it was my flame sensor that caused my furnace not to turn on, they charged me 222$ for the fix that day, and told me my water heater needed fixed and gave me a quote of 2,169 to replace which I hadn't called about but was sitting next to the furnace, I had same guy return again on 1/25/21 and was no charge but advice was go from 4 filter to 1 and change that every 30 days, fast forward 2 weeks and called them again as the furnace wasn't turning on and was told I could pay another trip fee to come out for the 3rd time in 3 months, told them no thanks, called another company they came out today and said it was the mother board which was under warranty, and the pressure switch was not for high altitude which I'm in Denver and he said they replaced that at no charge since it should have been in there when they installed this furnace in 2017, won't be going back to Wirenut in the future

After having issues with the electrical breaker tripping for no apparent reason, the technician came out to figure it out. He was professional and a very pleasant young man. He was able to repair the problem fairly quickly and let me know what the exact problem was.
I booked an appointment with them 3 weeks in advance and then they called last minute asking me to reschedule because of an emergency. I reschedule for the following week and got a phone call again canceling because of an emergency. Very unreliable and unprofessional. Do not wait on them, use a different service.

Never use these people unless you want to get ripped off. I had another company look at my furnace and no, it is not a $1000 plus repair, the wirenut tech did not even find the correct part that needed fixing. It is the igniter and can be fixed for $150. Buyer BEWARE!

I scheduled an electrician to come to my home four days in advance, they gave me a window of 8:00am-11:00am. I waited around all morning and no one showed up, no phone call. I called at 12:30pm asking where my technician was, they said he took a little longer on his first job than he thought. I don't know how early these guys start their day, but why was I scheduled for possibly 8:00am when this technician had another job before mine that could take several hours? Very poor scheduling. At 2:15pm, still no tech or phone call. I cancelled the appointment and found another electrician. Don't waste your time with these guys - I wasted my entire day waiting for them. Also, if their customer service and scheduling is this bad, I can't imagine how bad their actual electrician work is.

I had my heater and air conditioner tuned up. They guys that came to my house to work on the system did a great job. Their communication and service were very good.
Had 2 outlets the wife replaced mixed up the wireing, they came in didn’t even what to here the story wanted to charge me $590 dollars to switch a couple of wires , went else where charged $100 bucks counting the service call , this company is over priced consumers beware

Wire Nut was very quick on the repair and good but as they build their bills by job types they are 4-5 times as expensive any other electrician. Advice is to find an electrician that bills an hourly.
On time with great, honest service. I was more than happy with the technician. It was nice to be able to see pictures of what was cleaned and what was in need of repair.

Ask for a basic estimate on replacing a ceiling fan and they ask you for all your basic info. I was told they would give me an estimate when they come out for $69 dollars.

I had some wiring done in my garage by Jesse and he was quick, punctual and efficient. I really appreciated that he cleaned up the mess afterwards.
I called Colorado State Patrol on one of your driver's for your vans this evening as they were either drunk, stoned, or distracted driving down south bound i25 today. They almost side swiped and rear ended every car around them. That person should be fired and in jail for putting people's lives at risk. Whoever it was got off on the Wilcox exit. I hope you figure out who that was and fire them and report them to police. Me and everyone else driving around him is lucky to be home with their families tonight.

The wire nut's rates are almost twice than other companies. Their warranties are also just a sales gimic as the parts are covered under the manufacturer warrenty.

My house is older so it is not easy to work on and there are ALOT of stairs. Chance was patient, professional, and courteous.
Great service, Jonathon was very knowledgeable. Will use this company for furnace service going forward.
I called for an estimate on some electrical jobs, and was charged $70 just for the visit, was not told in advance about this charge. Crooks.
Jesse traced down all of my breakers in my electrical panel. He did a fine job.
He got the furnace running again. Explained what we need to do in the future and gave several options on repair and replacement.
