We had our 50 year old Burnham cast iron boiler and gas water heater replaced with a new 210 kBTU Burnham boiler and 50 gallon Heat-flo indirect-fired water heater. The outstanding service began with two visits by Micheal, the knowledgable and personable representative, who sat with us for hours winnowing down the numerous choices and options. We live at 7,650 feet in elevation, so reliability as well as cost and quality were huge concerns for us.They scheduled the installation around both our needs and the weather...and completed the task in one day.On the day of the installation, an outstanding team of Floyd, Dan, Austin, Juan and Senad did an amazing job. The installation end result demonstrates to me that Tipping Hat has fielded a team of thorough, polite, and knowledgeable professionals.Whether discussing the sale, learning about the system, completing the installation or tying up the details of the project, every member from sales representative, to the installers, to the front office treated my wife and I with respect, candor and the complete benefit of their vast experience. Kodiak, Jordan, and Chris did a fantastic job for me at my new house!Kodiak came over after my home inspection revealed serious sewer line, sump pump, and HVAC issues. He prepared same-day detailed estimates for me to bring back to the sellers, who ended up covering those vendor fees in part because of the professionalism and detail of those estimates.After I closed on the house, the Tipping Hat team came out and provided flawless service. They exhibited great professional care including efficiency, communication, and expertise.After the job was completed, Kodiak came back for an in-person walk through and has been available still for questions weeks after. This is the third time we have used Tipping hat. In each experience, there was excellent communication and professional service.We are remodeling and Ricky did a couple of jobs for us. We had a two basin sink and reduced to one on the kitchen. He completely opened up the left side of our cabinet for storage. He also had to relocate our water lines in the powder room. He went the extra mile and had a single charge, even though he had to make an extra trip.Here are some before and after shots of the powder room. We started with a pedestal and now have the vanity.

On April 20th I had the pleasure to meet Drillon, Gille, Detlef, Kyle, Remington, and Gabe. I was having issues with my air conditioning unit outside and after getting a few quotes I decided that tipping hat was the correct choice for me. After talking with Drillon I decided that the furnace was needing replacement also considering it was the original furnace from when this home was built. He noticed that the way my system was designed it wasn’t moving air properly. My old furnace was literally sitting on the ground. So not only was I getting a complete new system but they were also redesigning how my plenum was directing my airflow and moving it up off the ground. I used to work with hvac in my early 20s so I guess you can say I was a bit nosy. These guys were cool though. If I ever had any questions they would answer them for me. I got to come down and see their progress multiple times and they were never bothered. I had to limit myself from talking because I felt like I was distracting them from the work they had.I noticed they they all seemed pretty tight nit with each other. It pretty tough working in a crawl space all day so it’s nice to see the crew laughing and working well with each other.The entire crew was extremely friendly and helpful. I have animals and they were very respectful about closing the doors. They even showed me a bit of love at the end of the day because some things on my water heater were not to code but they went ahead at no extra cost to fix that for me.All in all I’m very satisfied with Tipping Hat and would definitely recommend this company in the future to anybody doing hvac, plumbing, or electrical.My only regret was not taking photos before so I could compare the after because it looks fantastic now.

Tipping hat had a next day appointment and was very communicative leading up to the appointment. The plumber that came was professional and I thought I could trust him. Now that the job is over I’m second guessing everything. I’ve been left with 4 holes in my wall in 4 different areas. 2 of which are actually pretty close together. I also have an over $300 new bath faucet that is a different finish from the rest of the hardware in the bathroom. First he said that it was a simple leak and the fee for a simple leak search was just over $200 that did not include the $49 diagnostic fee. He said that if I chose Tipping hat to do the work that both these fees would be applied into the final payment. When it was time to pay that was not the case and it turned out it was no longer a simple search and the fee was increased to over $400. He repaired the leaking pipe behind the shower and then also replaced the bath faucet and there was no finish option or option for us to just put a new faucet on ourselves which we easily could have done and purchased a kit for way less than $300. We also were not given an estimate before he started cutting into the walls and making repairs just a final cost of over $1,300 for a simple leak at the end that turned out not to be simple. I’m pretty disappointed and not sure that I would use Tipping Hat again.

Took a multitude of bids for having central air installed in our “old 1955” house. Landon McGill and his team beat every single one with a top of the line Rheem system. One day installation even during a rain/hailstorm. You can’t beat the price, quality, and craftsmanship these gentlemen provided. This company should be your top consideration if your looking to modify or upgraded your existing HVAC system. HIGHLY recommended.

Floyd Sisneros, Elijah Lash, and Senad Sarajila did a fantastic job installing my new tankless boiler combi unit (boiler and domestic hot water). Professional, and easy to work with. The explained in as much detail (I am an engineer so it was significant) as I wanted the operation and maintenance of the entire system. The plumbing in my home is a bit strange and they did a great job of straightening it out and making it maintainable, labeled, and clear. The new system works much better than my previous (noticeable difference in register heat), and is very quiet. They even handled the unexpected well issue (the well junction burst due to mixed metal corrosion) and had it off and water up and off the floor before I knew what happened. They prioritized my immediate concerns of the two day install and stayed late to make sure I had hot water (something I had been without for 3 days at that point).Chris Ditmore Jr came out as an electrician to relocate my well electrical to accommodate the plumbing work and likewise was fantastic to work with, and did an excellent job (he found and fixed a few gremlins there too.). So happy to have one single power cut off switch to the well instead of three. This is my second time working with Chris and I have been impressed and happy with the quality and results of his work on both occasions. Keep rocking it Chris.Mitchell Thier came out a couple days after the install as I got a manufacturer defect boiler control unit (died after a day) and he spent over four hours driving to get me one and heat going. Absolutely thrilled, and fantastic service. Extremely polite and excellent to work with.Every interaction with tipping hat has been pleasant, quality and stood behind. They set the bar, and set it high for the Denver metro area.Photos are a before and after of my utility closet.

I had my water heater replace with Tipping Hat, and I am beyond happy with their service and professionalism. I was leaning towards going with a different company; however, Ricky ( the technician) provided us with much needed education that led us to make the best decision for our home. They did an amazing job. The other technician, Kenny, was also extremely helpful and got our project done in record time. I definitely advise anyone on the fence to use them.

Michael Lia was fantastic. From the initial walk through he instilled confidence that he and his team at tipping hat would be able to change out my boiler system, home water filtration system and upgrade my very confusing set of valves and pipes leading to the base board heaters and radiant floor heating. I have nothing but good things to say about Michael and his team at Tipping hat! With something so important as heating a home in Colorado a saying comes to mind. “Cheap work ain’t good and good work ain’t cheap!” If you think their bid is expensive just imagine how expensive it would be to be to go with the other guys and then have to fix all the mistakes.Now onto Floyd Sisneros. As with Michael I have nothing but great things to say about Floyd. Floyd really knew his stuff. My old system was one of a kind that was confusing and done all wrong. His professionalism, attention to detail, workmanship and knowledge are second to none! Floyd went above and beyond in all aspects of this job. I own a high voltage electrical construction company and if Floyd was a high voltage electrician my company would have made him an offer on the spot.Both service pros Juan Garcia, Senad Sarajlija and Dan (don’t know last name) were excellent as well. They were professional and courteous the entire two days this project took.I highly recommend Tipping Hat!!

They were all pleasant young men. Very professional, efficient and very quick to get the job done. They were delayed at the previous job but still completed mine in about 5 hours. I was notified early on by Daniel Day that the guys were running late. Kyle Larson, the electrician was very informative to let me know when the crew would arrive. He completed his part in no time at all. Then there’s Romeo and Billy who were phenomenal. The temperature in here and outside was unbearable and they worked right through it.I highly recommend this team of professionals.

Had all the circuit breakers in my outside panel replaced cost if the breakers probably less than $200. Time replacing them about 45 minutes. Required power off in house 20 minutes. Less than an hour to go pick up the parts. Throw in a trip charge and diagnostic charge. Price over 5K. Really? Figured the replacement would be much more complicated when I signed the contract. Buyer beware Tech and work quality was great but in my humble opinion was probably charged 3 or 4 tines what the job should have been. Am I missing something? Could be of course but I would recommend watching your back with these guys. Just saying

We had a total installation of the following: Air Scrubber, HEPA Filter, AC, Furnace, Thermostats & Home Co2 Detectors etc. on Friday November 11, 2022. We had been working with Elizabeth on the administrative side of Tipping Hat for several weeks before finalizing our decision to make this large investment. She was the reason we ultimately decided to invest. She worked so hard to get us every rebate available to us as well as to ensure our ability to get the best in class pricing. We absolutely loved working with her and felt her sincerity and moreover her patience with us as we circled back with an infinite number of questions. Anyone else (myself included) would have given up on our making the purchase. Thank you Elizabeth, your skill set is a rarity in today's world and you are a true asset to the Tipping Hat organization.The INSTALLATION CREW:The leader of the crew was Landon. He's the consummate professional who led his outstanding crew to the excellence that we ultimately received. Jamie P., Remington B. Noe H., John S. and Joe E. arrived punctually, worked cohesively and behaved with class and the highest level of professionalism in our home. We were wowed at every turn. We had asked for a complete relocation of our present (24 year old) AC unit from one side of the house to another which was not an easy task. Actually it was an awful task and they did it beautifully. I have attached photos of our home's old furnace and AC unit along with the beautiful new products that Tipping Hat installed. The difference is day and night!We had interviewed a couple of other companies for this large set of tasks / investment and we were not comfortable with any of the other companies/individuals. We made the decision to purchase the 10 year maintenance plan which equates to $500 annually as it's one of the most comprehensive plans we have seen on the market. It's worth the peace of mind knowing they have all our HVAC needs checked off with them. So very grateful to have had this experience.

A performance inspection of my air conditioning system revealed a new system was necessary. After an interview with representatives of the the company, I had some reservations in regard to the quote and information about actual scope of the work and inspections and follow up. Ratings and reputation of this company was good, so despite a feeling of uneasiness I was going to enter a contact. Later my daughter came over and I mentioned the experience to her. She was surprised at the overall cost. She told me tipping hat did the same type work at her home and she highly recommend them. I had an appointment the same day with Kodiak. He worked up a proposal that was very attractive and he was able to do some negotiating on the overall cost. The next day a highly professional and qualified team arrived to accomplish the task. Gabe and Detlef did a perfect job and finished on time, before the team left two certified electricians arrived and completed the hook up ..Nick and Chris did a complete function of the electrical. Our boiler failed right before our trip for Thanksgiving. While on a trip I reached out to a number of Boiler repair / replacement shops to get quotes on a replacement. Our unit was 70 years old at this point so we were looking to upgrade to a high efficiency unit.The bids, in general, were around the same ballpark of cost (+/- 3k of each other). My SIL was still in town and facilitated the walk through for each of the shops and she said her experience with Tipping Hat was the most thorough and pleasant. All of this was done on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. And I was able to talk to our rep Adam over the phone and he answered all the questions I had about converting to a combi unit for domestic + heating and he was able to convince us that this was the best route.Come Friday we had all our quotes and we were down to our final 2 shops. One was about 5k less than Tipping Hat and I was able to talk to Adam who then talked to his boss to work on their quote and in the end we had a favorable reduced price and extended agreement for service and support so we were sold.The installation crew (Floyd, Juan, and Jesus) came out the following Tuesday (15F outside and snowing) and they worked for 12hrs to get our heat back on for the night. They had to come out the following day to tidy everything up, but they were absolutely professional, informative, and did some of the best work I have ever seen with plumbing.While they ended up being the most expensive, their professionalism, punctuality, ability to work with us, and installation skill makes it all worth it. Highly recommended!

My experience with Tipping Hat was top drawer! They got an estimator out the day of my call and completed a the bulk of a complex home electrical installation two days later. When a part that I had ordered arrived, they showed up the first business day after arrival and completed the installation.The team was well trained, professional, personable and a joy to work with.I plan on using them again as my needs may arise.

Josh with Tipping Hat Plumbing recently replaced my old/leaky outside sprinkler vacuum system and a leaky outside water spigot. While in my unfinished basement, Josh noticed and pointed out several plumbing jobs completed incorrectly. I advised Josh the work was completed by a family friend, who is not a plumber. We also discussed recent flooding in the basement. Josh advised me of work he could do through Tipping Hat which would prevent flooding in the future. Josh also replaced and relocated a spigot shut off valve in my basement with the appropriate type. That work was also completed by the family friend. Josh is personable, an experienced plumber, very knowledgeable about his craft and cares about his customers enough to want them to have good quality plumbing work that will not fail. This was my first time using Tipping Hat, but will not be my last. Thank you so very much Josh for the free advice and observations and for doing such an amazing job. Oh, Jose even made me aware of a problem in my outside sprinkler box, which I will speak to my sprinkler guy about. Also, Josh arrived early and refused a tip, now that's impressive!

Alex was quick to respond to my request for service and also able to accommodate my date and time. She kept me informed throughout the scheduling process and also updated me the day of service. Josh arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. He completed the job in a timely matter and gave a detailed explanation of the work performed. I will definitely use them again for any future needs.

I've had so many problems with this company stay far away and read my other reviews under my name. Three years ago theyinstalled a new hvac system and took off our old swap cooler. During this three day nonstop rain in Denver (5/10-5/12) I wake up to a puddle in the bathroom and a caving in ceiling right below the old swamp cooler system. I get on the roof and sure enough, they didn't bother sealing around the cap as the old crack sealant is there from decades ago not even redone. Crack/gaps in the aluminum cap they didn't seal up properly. I got in the attic and sure enough, it's been leaking for the past few years little by little. Dry rot in the ply wood roofing, mold and streaking right down past the cap into our attic.I called and whomever I spoke to said that this wasn't their issue and to call a roofing company. They can't even come patch it up correctly. If you want anything done correctly, don't call these people. Call Applewood, please.

We reached out to Tipping Hat as they are listed on Team Dave Logan’s site. Very polite, friendly person answered and helped schedule appointment. We sought a routine cleaning of an AC unit. The appointment was made quickly, easily and Mitchel nicely explained details. More issues were found as we have 18 year old AC and furnace. Michael spent time explaining rust in furnace and also critiqued another vendor’s hot water heater install. I appreciated the calls to update when tech was arriving! We’ll obtain a second opinion just to be sure before we consider replacing the furnace and AC.

Hi the guys that provided the service to my evaporator cooler were absolutely wonderful. The were one time, kept me informed, and were delightful, and then the end, got it up and running. I would give them five stars. But I probably won’t be using tipping HatThe pricing was ridiculous. Are usually pay to 125 for summer service which also includes changing the pad. With you guys I paid well over $300 plus a trip charge. This price did not even include changing the pad that would’ve been another probably $300 or more. And then to replace a belt which runs at the most $20 it cost me well over another $300 so it was over $600 to start up my evaporator cooler. I am very disappointed in the pricing.

Nick did a great job! He was very friendly and professional. He explained things has he went along. Also, when we called for an appointment, they got us in on their books very fast. We wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again. Great job!

I had a water spigot explode and Muris from Tipping Hat had the issue fixed a few hours after I called. Good guy, good service. Will definitely call them if I need anything in the future.

Tipping Hat did a great job on our project. They helped us walk through AC options and ultimately installed a swamp cooling and venting in our home. The system keeps our house very cold in the summer and will allow us to have way lower utility bills.The guys were on time, professional, and crazy quick. Would definitely use them again.

Tipping Hat installed a complete new HVAC system in our home. They provided great service from the time they set up the appointment to quote, to providing a quote with no hidden costs. The installation by the team was accomplished with no problems. They laid down coverings over the floor and were very careful to not hit any walls or doors. Their installation is very professional an clean looking. The installation crew cleaned the area prior to leaving. They also explained what they had done and and how to maintain the system between maintenance visits. They ensured that all systems were working properly prior to leaving the job. I will continue to utilize Tipping Hat for any electrical and plumbing needs I might have around the house. I will also be recommending them to my family and friends. Had Tipping Hat come out for a remodel estimate a couple years ago. I didn’t use them but that is not why I’m writing this review.Tipping Hat gave my information to a marketing service that sends me random advertisements for different businesses. How do I know it was Tipping Hat? On the most recent text/advertisement I received, I asked to be removed from the marketing list and immediately I had an auto-message response that asked if I still wanted advertisements from Tipping Hat.

I had been without my swamp cooler since the beginning of COVID. It had been miserable. I worked with Austin D. on getting a wonderful deal on a high end swamp cooler replacement. The team that came out to do the replacement was wonderful. Dan N. not only explained everything they would be doing that day, but also sat down with me to discuss the option of a second duct and diffuser allowing for more/better flow of air. Dan's team (Jordan W. & Austin Y.) worked diligently throughout the day to get the job done quickly and accurately. William S. came a little later in the day to take care of the electrical. He did a bang up job of getting the unit connected and wiring me a new easy access panel in my hallway. These poor guys had to not only endure the heat in my cramped attic space, but did it without complaining. Even more, they went out of their way to keep the noise to a minimum when my grandson went down for his nap. This team did a sensational job. I would highly recommend them.

I’m so impressed with Tipping hats service. We bought a house that they installed the furnace in 2019 and they really have stood by any issues that have shown up. They showed up professional and got the repair done with five stars. Alden was incredibly competent and I really appreciated how he upgraded the system under their warranty. Professionalism and experience at its best!We had our old furnace and AC unit replaced, and John was one of our Service Pros. He put floor protectors down and wore shoe covers as well. He was careful when moving equipment and parts in and out to protect our home. He is friendly, polite and professional. John demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in his craft. He worked late to get our units installed and tested. Then took the time to ensure we understood and were comfortable with the system before he left.We have found a great resource in Tipping Hat and can confidently recommend them!

Lady first- Elizabeth was such a pleasure to work with! She followed up with me and provided me with any and all information I need. She went above and beyond by contacting my mold remediation specialist and ensured precise coordination between Tipping Hat and the remediation. She is easy and very pleasant to do business with, but you know she takes her job seriously and is a true professional.Zach and Austin worked hard, kept me informed and were respectful.Brian M - how fortunate we are that he is the lead for this big project! Since my husband became ill, I had to manage this project. Having no experience myself, I told Brian that I have to trust him and he said that I can. I quickly recognized that trusting him to do the best job possible was the easiest thing to do.

Our 18+ year old hot water heater died yesterday morning. I have used Tipping Hat before, so I gave them a call. Ricky came out later that day, immediately saw what was needed, along with some modifications to our water line. He gave me a quote, returned the next day, did an absolutely amazing job, with the final invoice being exactly what he quoted me. My family loves the new hot water heater. Ricky and Tipping Hat richly deserve the highest possible review for their quick, professional service.

Kevin was sent out to fix our water heater, and was very professional, courteous and knew what he was doing. He did an excellent job for us. We have been very pleased with everyone we have worked with at Tipping Hat. They are great at what they do, and have excellent employees. This is why we keep using them.

They did a full furnace/AC install and swamp cooler removal. In one day. And had to custom fit the furnace to my 1930s house. It was amazing. Lovely professional team, pleasant to have around, committed to quality and service. Unequivocal recommendation. Alden, Ben and Corey did a great job on the install and Brian managed our project expertly (and is a rebate master!).

I've used Tipping Hat for yearly maintenance on my water heater twice now and have been very pleased with their service. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and do an excellent job explaining their work. (They're also just good, nice people!) I'll absolutely continue using them for my water heater and plumbing needs.

Josh and the team at Tipping Hat were amazing! Our toilet broke while we were out of town, they were quick to come in, did a video call to talk us through the damage & options. And, for the work that was outside their scope, they recommended another incredible local team. I would highly recommend!

We hired Tipping Hat to remove a 100 year old asbestos wrapped boiler and install a new high-efficiency boiler with a side arm hot water heater. Communication with everyone was great. They were all very responsive and lived up to every promise they made. Floyd and his crew showed up on the first morning and they were all true professionals. They made the demolition of the giant cast iron boiler look easy and they were quickly at work with the installation of the new system. The arsenal of tools and equipment they had for the job was impressive. Juan, Remington, Noe and Joe worked along side Floyd like one giant well oiled machine. They all kept me informed throughout the job and consulted with me on every decision to be made along the way. Mitch also stopped in to make sure everything was going as planned and expectations were being met.

The team walked through the details on what would happen and made sure my flooring was covered before moving out the old water tank. Chappy was very honest with his assessment of the water heater and what he found during a previous inspection but never pushed the sales which is how it should be. The entire team was extremely professional and efficient getting me up and running quickly. I have already recommended Tipping Hat to several people and will continue to do so.

Zack showed up on time, placed shoe coverings on prior to entering house, and was professional throughout his service. In addition, Kodiak also came to camera the line after the sewer cleaning. They explained their performance on the line, recommended maintenance procedures for the future, and cleaned up after themselves to ensure the area looks as it did before the work. All was done in about an hour. We would definitely use their services again.

They came out and did an offered $49 AC Tune-Up. The technician was very nice, explained all he was doing, and answered my questions. I was just disappointed because I assumed the Tune-Up would include anything (other than a major repair) to get it up and running good for the season. He was basically only able to check things and then tell me I needed to get it cleaned. I wish the company would have been more transparent about what the Tune-Up included before I booked it.

We got quotes from a total of 5 companies in the area for a new AC unit. Tipping hat was not the cheapest, but was a great value with extras they threw in and warranties/permits. Amber was friendly, informative and thorough- providing a lot of information and a review of what was and wasn’t needed. I learned more from her than any of the other companies that provided quotes. The install crew was also great and we are happy with the new unit.

My parents got a fuse box replacement. This required everything in our 40+ year house to be brought up to code. Chris and Will did a fantastic job and was very thorough in making sure that everything on the work order was done well. I decided to call tipping hat because I received an advertisement in the mail from them. Called to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, we are all booked out for the season. We wouldn't be able to service your request.I guess business for them is going extremely well and they don't need any new business. Definitely will find another place who needs customers. Why would they be sending advertisements if they're already booked up? If they're all booked up for the season, then why even bother asking me what the issue was with my air conditioner. I suspect that they only want jobs that are going to cost a lot of money and they don't bother with smaller jobs. When I said I wanted to schedule an appointment, why wouldn't they just tell me that they are filled up for the season versus asking me a bunch of questions about the kind of work I need done to my air conditioner.

I called Tipping Hat regarding a clogged drain and an electrical outlet that wasn’t working. Nick the electrician along with the two plumbers were very courteous and professional. They quickly resolved all my issues and provided very helpful explanations in case something should happen again. I’ll definitely call Tipping Hat next time I have a plumbing or electrical issue.

Tipping Hat, Amber and her crew Alden, Corey, William, Zach and the plumber Chris did an outstanding Job. Our AC died and it turned out we had to replace both Furnace and AC as the HVAC was from 1993. Amber guided us through the process and could answer all our questions and concern in the most professional way. This is a big investment for most of us and it is a jungle to know were to go, we had 10 different contractor, all good but Tipping Hat walked the extra mile. We decided on a Monday, Amber sent her crew in on Tuesday and by 5PM same day all was done and in perfection. Also want to mention Alden, we had flooding in our neighborhood and we were concerned if our sump pump worked. Alden dropped everything and dived in, saw it was dead and had Chris coming out within the hour, got a new sump pump and made sure it was per code as our house have a few years. Customer beware... This company will be positive and excited to bid and get your job, very friendly staff. We even sent them a referral client that is our neighbor! Once the job is done, you will be forgotten, blown off, and they hope you forget their promises. We were told that we would receive an email containing all the paperwork/manuals etc on our new AC unit and whole house humidifier. After calling several times, we finally received a copy of our contract, but never any manuals. We had issues getting the new smoke/carbon monoxide monitors that were promised - which was resolved. We were also promised 2 additional vent fans in black by the sales person, (Kodiak), and a follow up conversation with Elizabeth from the office confirmed this. We have called at least 5-7 times since the end of March. Everyone acts sad and apologetic on the phone when you call for an update and tells us that they have been ordered, but don't believe it. Once that call is done, you never hear back or get an update, we feel like they are just hoping we will go away. It is now mid-June with our installation in March, and still nothing. It has made us feel like they were only prompt and friendly, only to get our business.

From the salesperson to the installers, everyone was very professional, knowledgeable and ultimately provided a fantastic solution. We appreciate everything from this team and are currently working with them on some electrical issues on two other properties. We trust our salesperson and would highly recommend to anyone!

It was a hot week and every one needed service on their AC or in our case the swamp cooler. Tipping Hat is a recommended service provider on our Breezair unit. Not an easy brand with all the electronic control gizmo's. Brandon shows up Saturday morning, ready to go. He is polite listens, to me ramble...14 yr old unit ...replaced cooler pads a yr ago...the drive belt this year... makes noise when filling...intermittent electricity at wall mounted controller... now nothing. We go up on the roof remove the cooler filters, Brandon examines the control box, shake some wires , diodes on control board still out, starts checking the power cord removes a cover plate and discovers the wires in the box have melted. Aha, there is the problem. Repaired wires. Breezair is cooling our house 96 outside today and 72 inside. All within about an hour or so of trouble shooting thinking and correct action. Nothing extra...and on to the next call. Thank you Tipping Hat, and Brandon C.

This might have been the first time we used Tipping Hat but one never knows when you will need some help when an emergency comes and we sure didn't. I called TIpping Hat and the emergency was taken care of with Seth and Austin. They were professional and respectful. Seeing tipping hat install in my neighborhood I went over and asked about all the trucks parked out front and asked what they are doing. The Supervisor on site Amber was wonderful she didn’t miss a beat with all the information she gave me. If I didn’t have a brand new system I would have had her come over and install for me as well. It was impressive to see how hard her team was working in the front. Keep up the great work.

My experience with the Rejuvenation of my AC/ Furnace was great! Chris did a great job of informing of everything he was doing. The unfortunate issue came up when I needed to replace my furnace and ac unit. I got my estimate and it was reasonable at the time. I wanted to compare the estimate to other companies to make sure I make the best educated decision. The other tech said that his quote was the best and that if I didn’t decide to do it by a EOB with Tipping Hat that it would no longer be available. I’ve been calling to other companies and was surprised that I did get better quotes. It just felt like I was being pushed into something which I thought Tipping Hat prided themselves into not doing.

When the unit was initially installed, Tipping Hat was very professional, reasonably priced, and provided great service. We just had them come out for the yearly inspection and adjustment and the service professional Steven Jones was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He did a great job and I would highly recommend Tipping Hat.

Josh was awesome. I will use tipping hat in the future because of my excellent experience today. Needed a garbage disposal replaced , Josh gave me options and prices and was outgoing. He described what he was going to do and the installation was clean. Also getting the appointment and texting with the office was super good. They kept in touch and were even able to come out same day.

I would never use this company they are Crooks! customer service: if you call to get something that has been warrantied, needs fixed or has any issue, management will not call you back. Run from this company, Tipping hat Plumbing and heating is not the choice to use for anything. Once they get your money that's it! They don't care about you as the customer or what's going on with your issue when they come to your house but they try to charge you more on very simple fixes. This company deserves zero Stars

Henry and Jacob did a great job installing a new power box and thermostat on my AdobeAir Mastercool swamp cooler. The old unit died and I had to order a retrofit unit because the old model was obsolete. Jacob figured out a way to mount the new unit and power receptacle to the cooler and got it wired correctly. It is a great relief to have to cooler up and running again.

My elderly neighbor used this company for a last minute furnace repair, just before a cold front came through. I was there in case she had any questions. Chappy came out at 5 pm and gave her a rundown and on what he could do. He gave her 3 different quotes for different levels of work he and his company could do. He did not push for the most expensive work, but did a professional job about explaining why it might be necessary. In the end he left it up to the customer completely. Since it was evening and getting late, the repair/replacement work could not be done that evening, so Chappy stayed later, went and got some nice space heaters and placed them in the most appropriate locations in the house. Chappy could not stress enough, to my neighbor, about how he is not going to let her be cold that night, nor is he going to leave her without some form of repair or replacement. There was a frustrating moment when Chappy could have thrown his hands up in the air and had the customer find someone else. However, he remained professional, calm, and courteous. Even though this was not work being done at my house, I will definitely contact Tipping Hat first, for a quote or repair. My hats off (no pun intended) to Chappy on making a frustrating situation, better.

Quick response, appointment same day. Good communication about technician's schedule and arrival. Customer service was efficient and polite, as was the technician. The tech explained what and why as he worked, was thorough, had to leave to get part, then finished repair successfully. Not inexpensive, but good quality and professional.

I had an excellent experience with Tipping Hat from initial contact, through Dispatch (Erica has personality and it shows!), to contact from Sales (Kodiak, you rock) to the crew showing up (Floyd and Bert first) and completing the box fabrication and installation and wiring (Kyle - awesome job moving the electrical service to make it easier to access). This company won this business and if you have a reasonable budget you will be pleased as punch. They nailed the timeline and I'm so happy I chose them for our family HVAC need!!! I do recommend a PCI compliant payment process. If you're the business owner I can help you make that happen!

Jason arrived on time, reviewed the installation with me, and began immediately. He also gave me a cost estimate at that time. He worked quickly and efficiently, getting the job done in the time frame expected. Then he checked his work for leaks and to make sure that both faucets and the new disposal were working properly. All in all, an excellent job delivered in a professional, but very friendly manner.

I had Tipping Hat install a utility sink in my garage, which was no small feat given there were no rough ins for plumbing. From the estimate process to the actual work getting done, the whole team was amazing.I want to specifically call out Dan, Austin Y. and Austin P. who came out and the actual work. Everything was tidy and very well done with excellent communication along the way.

I worked with Amber as my project manager. She was amazing! Super professional, kind, understanding of my needs and very knowledgable. I was replacing my waterheater, which required an upgrade/update to my panel. She was able to review with the electrician and we ended up adding a sub panel. We were able to bundle and I added A/C as well. Amber coordinated and arranged to have everything done on the same day. Everything was coordinated and went incredibly smooth.Emilio and Rony installed my AC, they were professional, very considerate of my home, and very helpful, ensuring that everything was running smoothly before they left. Jordan installed the water heater, he got everything done quickly and efficiently and answered my questions. Kyle did the sub-panel, he was fabulous!! He worked with me to make sure the placement was as unobtrusive as possible, and it turned out better than I expected. Overall, I had a great experience. I knew if I had any issues or questions I simply had to reach out to Amber. The fact everything was done in one day was just the cherry on top.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We're currently in legal proceedings with them when they came out to do a routine maintenance on our boiler (that they suggested while giving us a quote for an AC replacement) and then broke our fully functioning boiler and then requested additional funds to fix it (which we paid and they DIDN'T fix it!). The person that performed the service is also no longer with the company but they refuse to give us our money back and their only additional resolution was to purchase an entirely new boiler from them for over $20K!!! SCAM ARTISTS! There are plenty of other reviews here and elsewhere that confirm what I'm saying and I only wish I had done more research before even agreeing to a routine maintenance with them. We luckily had 2 other trustworthy and reputable companies come out and they fixed the problem. We're out the money that Tipping Hat scammed us for and the money we had to pay the other company to actually fix the boiler that Tipping Hat broke and our legal fees. Don't make the mistake that we did!!!

Andre was on time, very friendly, and got down to business immediately. He diagnosed the problem (a new hot water heater was needed) and then went about giving us options with different price ranges and quality. We picked the one that suited our needs, and he proceeded to dismantle our old one, and installed our new one within a few hours. He explained everything about the system that we needed to know. I used them to replace some plumbing and install a new water heater and humidifier a year or so ago ($2000). Called this week to schedule HVAC service, and I was told that they were booking higher volume repeat customers as their priority. (?!) My first experience was great. The second, not great.

I would recommend everything about Tipping Hat Plumbing, Heating, and Electric. The communication with for scheduling was prompt and they were able to get the appointment on the date and time that I needed it the most. Andrei arrived promptly, and he was able to diagnose and repair all of the known leaks and one that I was unaware of. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and just overall good to talk to. He clearly explained the costs and what work needed to be done. Highly recommended!

Seth and Zach were on time, friendly and took plenty of time to analyze the problem. They were thorough in explaining what they could do as well as what they would not do. Once started they worked for 2&1/2 hours. They kept us posted along the way; they did a very complete cleanup. They discussed our options for further preventative work but without pressure to do anything right away. The price was high but we are glad the procedure worked. We would do business with Tipping Hat again.

As you can imagine one of the most stressful things that can happen is for your furnace to go out in the middle of winter. As we were scrambling to find a company that would be able to replace our furnace we were given the name of Tipping Hat and they were at our house within 2 hours of making the call. We met with 4 other companies and spoke to 2 more on the phone, but nobody was able to match the service and expertise these guys were offering.Michael spend 4 hours going over everything that needed to be done making sure that we were comfortable and had all of our questions answered. These guys were so courteous and professional that we ended up replacing almost the whole HVAC system except the water heater. They worked with us on the financial aspect with us and once again their professionalism shined through. The work was done by a crew that was truly a pleasure to have around the house (Tommy K, Benjamin B, Elijah L, Gabe B, and Michael L). These guys were simply the BEST! Everything was done as described and even when we hit a snag they were able to remedy the situation immediately without any additional cost to us. What a great service and professionalism! I to get a fuse box replacement which meant that my house had to be brought up to code because it was built in the early 80's. Chris and William did a great job with the install and updates. However, there was one circuit that had to be readjusted. Kyle came out a few days later and was able to quickly fix the problem.

We used Tipping Hat to get an entire new AC/Furnace/HVAC system. I am extremely impressed. We were able to get 0% financing for 72 months and Tipping Hat handled all of the incentives with Xcel energy (5600!) directly so we didn’t have to. I was immediately approved for financing and they came out the next morning after we approved the quote. Zach J., Tommy K., Drilon D., Bert G., Kyle L., John S., and Joe E. were very professional, kind, and considerate and did the full install in one day. They checked in with us on every step and made sure we understood what was done and how to use the new equipment. They even went out of their way to make sure the pipes outside didn’t disrupt the backyard living space. It’s really refreshing to find an honest company that cares as much as they do about their customers. I feel really confident knowing we have a 10 year warranty on the system as well, and have no doubt that they will be on top of repairs as needed over the years. 12/10 recommend Tipping Hat.

We used Tipping Hat for the first time when it was discovered that our kitchen drain line was leaking. We had some water issues earlier this year and were still in the process of getting that work done, so facing more repair work was very stressful. Dan arrived on time was very professional explained everything along the way, even going as far as doing a little extra work for the original quote. When he found out after starting that more work had to done he requoted the job, for what we felt was a fair price, much more extensive work needed to be done. He did an excellent job was thoughtful and careful. Definitely will use this company again.

Such a great team: Kyle Taylor, Remington Bailey, Landon McGill, Romeo Sandoval, Joe Eckert, and John Slobodzian made up the amazing team that came out to install a new furnace and central air unit. Did I mention hottest summer?(original)Available quick (though I did schedule out of season), did the work in 1 day (installed AC and furnace), took care of all paperwork, financing option was good, and work was done well and promptly.

Brandon and Jorge arrive on time, we’re very polite and helpful.They troubleshooted our mini splits despite having to wait over an hour for technical support from the manufacturer. I appreciated their help in this as we have unfortunately had several issues since install. I will request both of them in the future.

Do not hire this company. I’ve spent close to $50k with these guys over the past 3 years to replace a boiler, sewer line, and have some repairs done in laundry room/bathroom. Kodiak, a project manager, has me bent over a barrel right now because they agreed to move plumbing lines in my bathroom, I paid them $14k, they started work and then said they actually couldn’t move my boiler lines without repiping whole house for another $30-40k. I reiterated they agreed to perform the work, they inspected the exposed lines before agreeing to work, and they are the ones that recommended and installed the boiler 3 years ago ($15k) because of the low cost to maintain, they should have known before taking my money and starting this new job. I’m also frustrated that the initial reason for replacing the sewer line was water backing up in basement, which continued after they replaced the sewer line for $17k (which I questioned needed replacing several times after watching scope)! Kodiak swears to me they’ll make it right and aren’t ripping me off, but has since gone radio silent and passed me along to Billy the supervisor. Billy says he can do 10% off the last project, which I told him is crazy bc they hadn’t completed the work and I expect them to do what I paid for. Billy then said maybe I should just replace my steam boiler since then I wouldn’t need the lines at all. I asked Billy if he’d buy back the steam boiler they sold me 3 years ago, which he would not. I told Billy I’m planning to have another contractor come quote the job to fix their mess and then take them to court to recoup my money. Talked with Billy 5/19 and he was going to take the weekend to think about a solution and call me back Monday 5/22. It’s 5/30 and I haven’t heard back from him yet. I wish they’d just do the work I paid for and treat me fairly, but that is the opposite of what I’ve repeatedly experienced with this company. Save your money and look somewhere else!

I scheduled a service a week in advance. They gave me a 2 hour window. 10 minutes after the window had passed, their technician texted that he'd had an unavoidable issue and couldn't make it. He couldn't reschedule for over a week, despite the fact I was moving the following week and had promised to get the service done before a tenant moved in. When I called the main line, they directed me to somebody who could help several times, only to end on another line that went to voice-mail. I didn't get a callback, or the service. When they say good old fashioned service they must mean so old fashioned they don't have phones and hope people don't read internet reviews.

Can’t say enough about the tipping hat team. They saved the day and my status as a new husband and my nightmare scenario :) . Complete re-haul of all the plumbing, boiler and toilets/sink because the whole house was frozen before I moved out from Georgia. They were so caring, professional, fast and fair! I have to also give a shout-out to Christian for such amazing communication- always going above and beyond to reach out, give me expectations and next steps. My son went to disconnect my old dishwasher and had a shower when he tried to close the shutoff under the sink. Plumbing is not his favorite field so we called our friends at Tipping Hat and they sent Andrei who arrived on time and with a fully stocked truck. He recognized the issue and gave me the quote quickly. Since he had everything needed for the repair, I gave the go-ahead and he performed the repair in no time. He was a master plumber who checked all faucets for leaks, repaired one dripper and then left. Andrei is really good at his job and an excellent example of TH employees. Yep, I know to call TH for any issue with my plumbing, heating or electrical. I get good service and good value from the technicians. Andrei is solid and I trust him and TH to take care of my home.

Floyd and his team were courteous and communicative, and made sure didn't go without heat and hot water over the multi day boiler replacement project. They were careful not to damage or dirty the house while they carried parts in and out. The only real issue was with the expectations set by the sales representative. They worked in a side project related to the boiler, but once the lead plumbing technician, Floyd, assessed the work, it was immediately clear that it wasn't feasible to complete alongside the main project. However, Floyd assured us that they would come back and complete the side project when the time was right, so as has been my experience with Tipping Hat over two large projects, they make good on their commitments.

Ricky did a great job installing my new Delta faucet. He detected an issue with the old one and was able to install a new faucet and valves on the same day. He came back out and replaced the expansion tank as well as replacing a galvanized pipe in my crawl space. Scott is an excellent plumber and was so patient throughout the whole process. We had Tipping Hat replace a sump pump while our basement was flooding because the old one wasn’t working. Saved us from damage that would have cost us thousands of dollars. The HVAC system in my 22-year-old house was nearing expected end-of-life and I decided to proactively replace it rather than risk being caught in the dog days of summer with a failed air conditioning unit or in the frigid days of winter with a failed furnace. A friend had recently done the same and recommended the company he had hired, Tipping Hat.I was first visited by Chris and Amber to assess my existing installment and then advise me, based on their findings. Both are very professional, personable and knowledgeable. Knowing that my equipment was at, or past, “life expectancy” and that I was prepared to have to replace it, they strategized the design of a replacement system. Well, this was an interesting one. Ricky and John came on a Friday and installed a new water heater. After they left we detected gas and we were getting headaches. Called Saturday morning and talked to Alex about the gas smell. He said someone would be out to check. About 4:30 a guy showed up and tested everything. Found a small leak and fixed it. Continued to smell gas, but not as bad. Had been told Ricky would be coming Monday morning. Still experiencing gas smell all Sunday into Monday morning. Ricky arrived around 3:30. Took everything apart and re-assembled. Still smelling gas. Found out there was a defective part causing the leak. Did not have the part, so had to come back Tuesday. With the new part installed, no more gas smell!!! Yeah! Now we addressed that the gas fireplace would not work. With the owners manual in hand we got the fireplace working!! So, finally everything is working and no gas smell! Ricky was persistent in wanting everything to be right!

andrei was great! Very professional and quick and efficient under time pressure when the building was turning the water back on and in a short amount of time. He did a great job changing out the valves and hoses under my old sinks and installed a new kitchen when we discovered it was leaking. Would Definitely would recommend.

When I called today they cancelled my appointment. I had called yesterday and scheduled a quote for a whole house rewire letting them know I would be at work and leave the key in the box.When I spoke with them today to confirm my appointment, since I didn't recieve a email or text as promised. They informed me the receptionist was new and should have never booked it without me there.Do not waste your time, they will overpromise and then fail to deliver and apologize for the inconvenience.Should be 0/5 but that's not an option.Ho do you expect people to take time off with no notice given.

*July 14 2022*Tipping Hat never pulled a permit for our HVAC project and according to the inspector's office their workers compensation policy has expired.Original Review:We had a working AC before Tipping Hat began work. I reached out to them to do a proactive replacement of our AC and Furnace. The old setup worked but it was 23 years old and needed to be replaced. My wife is pregnant and we have four dogs. I figured it was best to get ahead of any potential issues.Joseph was eager to help and got us a good price for a full setup with AC, Furnace, Humidifier, and Air Purifier. He moved quickly to get us an install date of Friday 6/17. We moved quickly on the install date due to an incentive.Install of Friday 6/17 came, and Tipping Hat collected money up front and began work. 12 hours later we ended up with holes in the wall, holes in the ceiling, shady electrical work, and more importantly, no AC in a 90-degree house.I want to be clear that the two HVAC technicians, Austin and Romeo did everything in their power to try to deliver good service to us. They both deserve 5 stars, gift cards, and a new leadership team. Unfortunately, the rest of the leadership at Tipping Hat was more interested collecting checks than providing us good service.Ultimately the team went home to their air-conditioned homes on Friday night and left us trying to figure out where to sleep to keep ourselves cool.Saturday rolled around and they said, we will send an emergency service to get the unit working. While we did get the electrician in on Saturday to fix the unsafe electrical work, the team was unable to fix the AC and said, we can order parts on Monday. Seriously? It is 90+ degrees in Denver this weekend and all you can do is say see you Monday? Completely uncalled for. We had a working AC before you all began work and you are doing absolutely nothing to remedy our situation. We paid far too much money to not have a working AC system. Tipping Hat has also not offered anything to make us right. No offer of hotel stays, no discount on the work, no future service credits. They are eager to sell and are happy to let you sweat it out when their work goes sideways.

I was SO impressed with this entire company. My furnace went out on a cold snowy day, and I made one phone call to tipping hat and they had a technician here within the hour. They gave us multiple price options and walked us through each of them. They then set up electric heaters for us to stay warm throughout the night. The very next morning Joe and Allen showed up and installed a new furnace, plus they updated my thermostat and venting. Joe and Allen were very professional, hard-working, and cleaned up after themselves. Top-notch service all around.

Brandon was honest, and professional about his work. He explained in detail on what he was needing to do in order to ensure we had the best maintenance. I first found Tipping Hat from one of those mailer ads. My son needed a new central air unit and he ended up getting a new furnace also. Everything was great! Then he got a new hot water heater and everything is great! I thought I should take my own advice after my longtime plumber wanted to super charge me and use Tipping Hat. First Miranda who answered the phone and helped get someone here was fantastic! She let me be long winded, laughed at all my stupid jokes and was just a pleasure! Melissa was great! We have been having issues with our furnace overheating and called another company first (a $1400 mistake). We tried Tipping Hat because we saw they were well reviewed and thought their prices might be more reasonable. We were BLOWN AWAY by the quality of the service. They really worked to find the root cause of the issue and fix it for much less than we were expecting. Our furnace has never worked better. If you're on the fence, pick these guys. You won't regret it. We'll be using them for all our HVAC, electric, and plumbing from now on. Great company!

We had a great HVAC replacement experience with Tipping Hat. Michael Lia was upfront and very helpful. The installers, Benjamin Breno, Romeo Sandoval, and Juan García were punctual, thorough, polite and efficient. They got a lot of work done in just one day! We also got a free a/c upgrade because of a stock issue on their end. They could’ve easily just postponed the install until our model was back in stock and we wouldn’t have been any wiser, but instead they were honest and stuck to the install date even though it cost them money. I highly recommend their services!

Gilles did a fantastic job of providing me with a variety of options to consider for the heat pump I wanted to install to replace my aging furnace and broken air conditioner. Elijah and Tommy were very efficient with their installation of the new system and the system has been working great. Gilles has been very communicative throughout the whole process.Tipping Hat came through again on a botched cartridge replacement I tried to do on my shower. They came out the same day and John efficiently and professionally replaced the shower valve that I had broken while trying to get the cartridge replaced. John was very curteous and got it all fixed and back with running water before he left.

Jorge was incredible. I had reached out to Tipping Hat to get a second opinion on an issue with my AC and Jorge fixed it for a fraction of the cost I was quoted from the other company and gave me a two-year no breakdown warranty on his work. I couldn’t be happier about it!

Can't say enough how helpful Travis was. After a string of thefts in our neighborhood, we wanted to finally have our security cameras installed. When I had some initial questions that the front office wasn't able to answer, Travis called to go over everything. He took a couple calls even after hours so we could make a decision on equipment prior to him coming to the house. We were able to send pictures of the exterior to decide placement prior to him arriving. He went the extra step of going to 4 different supply stores so that we received the products and installation parts we needed. While at the home he was professional, super courteous and made sure to clean everything up. Can't thank him and Tipping Hat enough.

We got a quote from Adian for a/c/ furnace. Among the three companies that we had here, he provided the most comprehensive analyzes and provided the best solutions for our issues. While the other companies focused on the replacement of the units and any concerns about the physics of air movement covered with magic words like two stage or variable spear and smart smart sensors, he analyzed our duct system, and provided solutions that make sense from a simple mechanistic perspective. Had the best knowledge regarding construction and gas physics. The quote is competitive in terms of price and warranties.

We are incredibly disappointed with the service we received at Tipping Hat. We had a plumber come out to our home and provide us a quote for faucet installation, which we agreed to. So we went out and purchased new faucets for him to install. When I tried to book a second appointment for the same plumber to come and complete the installation, they sent a different person who had no record of the quote we were previously provided. When he called the original plumber who provided the quote, we were told that the plumber stated he had no memory of the job or quote he provided even though it was only one week prior to the second appointment. How could he forget that quickly and have no memory of the job. Feels like such a scam! Now we have two sets of faucets, which cost us several hundred dollars and no installation. We would not have purchased the faucets in the first place, has we not agreed to the price quoted. We will never use Tipping Hat again. I wish there were an option to select 0 stars.

Andre was thoughtful, courteous and professional. He explained why he was recommending a new water heater and explained the process. He had to go and get some parts but he was able to complete the job by 6pm. He did an excellent job!I was a little surprised by the price, $3852 since I found hot water heaters under 1k @ Home Depot.

I called Tipping Hat to provide an estimate for a small plumbing job in my kitchen based upon their reviews. Job details: Replace garbage disposal and faucet, and hook up a water filter. I provided all materials. The estimator showed up and was at my house for over 45 minutes to provide an estimate for this small job. He spent at least 25 minutes populating a proposal in his iPad. The result was a 10 page pdf “proposal” which listed the price for this job as $2,702.00!!! Yes, that’s correct. Needless to say I did not give them my business. I paid a normal plumber $139 an hour to complete the job (3.5 hours) at a cost of $469.35. I paid 17.37% of Tipping Hat’s price for the job. I don’t normally provide negative reviews but I think it’s totally warranted in this situation to alert potential customers that Tipping Hat wanted to charge me over 5 TIMES the actual cost to do the job. Buyer beware - and get multiple quotes for your job!

When our water heater went out and we decided to consider tankless, Tipping Hat representative came out within 2 hours and educated us on the matter. They also provided insight on the brands of high efficiency tank water heaters to consider. We elected a tank water heater and installed it ourselves. Tipping Hat was very professional and knowledgeable, and helped us tremendously as we were on this decision precipice. Thank you Tipping Hat .

Hands down one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. I had to replace my boiler/hot water heater and had a high-efficiency combi-boiler installed. This required complete removal of my current system and install of new one. From start to finish Michael Lia explained everything and kept constant communication with me. Michael had lots of knowledge and I never once felt pressured into anything. Once work started, every person on each crew of electricians and plumbers were respectful and courteous along with being neat and always kept their workspace cleaned. I was never out of water or electricity for any extended period of time which was very impressive given the work I had done. JJ, Noe, & Chris did a great job with my attic fan install as well and kept me in the loop on all things involved including electrical on the boiler install. Juan & Joe always asked permission to do things and where I wanted certain things like thermostat installs and CO/Fire detector systems amongst various other things. They even moved their work vehicles when I asked for my neighbor with no issue or attitude when they had to stop work to do so. Finally, Floyd is as good as it gets with boiler installs. All the work is crisp and looks amazing (soldering looks amazing and so does the copper against the black wall, nice touch). I feel he went above and beyond with how I wanted it to look an built for my future basement finishing project. I can tell Floyd loves what he does as he took meticulous care in constructing this system not only for operability but with future maintenance in mind. I am so impressed with Tipping Hat and specifically the group they sent out to work on my system and so grateful for this install and future work on any of my heating, plumbing, and electrical needs. I highly recommend this company as they also have great deals on financing if needed.

This is for the 608 Garrison location. Scheduled minor tune-up (around $30) for reduced airflow issue, tech who was prompt, friendly, seemed knowledgeable and patient, told us we had to purchase more expensive “rejuvenation” service putting the unit back to factory condition and guaranteeing no issues for two years (around $350) for accurate diagnosis, because issues were found ($8,000 to fix) we were told the two-year guarantee would not apply, I feel the many, many, many problems found were all made to seem more dire to try to manipulate us into getting new furnace and ac ($30K-14k) - we were told we could not just get one replaced, tech left off half a dozen screws, did not retape/seal areas accessed, removed the insulation and wiring schematic from the back of the furnace door we found later, left other parts off to be found later in the basement, business contacted me three times to leave a review but was unresponsive when I called to let know the unit was not put back together, finally got a return call four business days later and at almost 6:30 at night, when I sent the pictures of how unit was left, Ken discussed with Chappy who agreed the unit was not put back together and scheduled follow-up visit for almost a week later to finally finish this service. Really? That is the response? How about give us some of our money back because if he left this stuff undone, what assurance do we have that he “rejuvenated” anything?! Fed up with losing air from that unsealed panel and holes from the dangling electric cable for another week, I spent almost an hour and a half removing the panel to find screws also missing from inside the unit, hunting around for similar screws, putting the panel back, replacing more missing screws from the outside panel and retaping/sealing the panel and re-gluing the insulation back on to put it back to how it was prior to Chappy’s visit. The kicker is that issue we were originally experiencing was immediately resolved by changing out the high MERS filter with a much lower rated MERS filter. So we wasted around $350 and a lot of our time. Undoubtedly, our system has issues but after this experience, we won’t be looking to Tipping Hat to resolve them. Update, when I called Ken again to cancel the follow-up, he did apologize, said Chappy probably had a reason for leaving stuff undone, told me how great this service was and offered a $50 credit. This is still an unusual response and just $50 refund isn’t great but better than nothing for this unnecessary service.

I contacted Tipping Hat when my furnace started making a terrible noise when it kicked on. The first tech that came to look at it explained where that noise was coming from and showed me the inside of my 20 yo furnance and how bad it really was. He asked a supervisor to come over as well. After talking to both Kodiak and Josh, the tech, I decided to schedule a furnace replacement with them. Kodiak explained the levels of furnace options they had, financing and their price match guarantee. And even encouraged me to get quotes from other companies. The install team arrived the next day and completed their work on time and cleaned up after everything they did. Overall it was great, as financially painful as replacing a furnace can be!

We used Tipping Hat to replace our furnace and install an air conditioner/condenser for our home. We had a big team supporting us every step of the way from the furnace replacement to electrical work to condenser installation and more. I’ve never had to call for outside help before but when an electrical problem came up that I was not able to solve I was very fortunate to be assisted by Jacob Bradford at Tipping Hat. He came the same day as we called and went the extra mile when it came to climbing around our hot attic to find the source of trouble for what we thought was just a simple electric outlet swap. We highly recommend Jacob and will use him again should the need arise.

The technicians that installed the equipment were very diligent. I would recommend them again.Update: changed from 4-star to 2-star. Compressor does not come on. Technician STEVEN (he gets 5 star). Came out and told us that they installed the unit way to close to the fence. There was also a coolent leak causing unit to shut down. Now it’s wait-and-see when they can come out and fix the problems.

I called early morning to have my water heater repaired because I couldn’t get it to relight. There was an opening at 4 in the afternoon but I had a funeral to go to. Chris in the office worked some magic and was able to find a technician to come earlier. I had a great experience with the employees at Tipping Hat that I interacted with, including Austin D., Chris B. and Ginger C. All were very prompt, friendly, and professional!I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because it felt rather deceptive to advertise an $86 drain cleaning service but then once you're in the process of scheduling they let you know there's actually an additional fee of $45. It is not clear at all how this fee is any different from the advertised price. Seems like they just want to advertise a lower price and then increase it by 50% once they've got you on the line...

I had my furnace go out. Tipping Hat came out quickly. The initial visit and inspection was fabulous. The root cause of why my previous furnace failure occurred was explained. I ended up replacing my entire furnace and AC to get it done right. It is more than I was intending to do. They came out and installed it all about 7 hours. The installers were professional a did a great job. I probably could've had it done cheaper, but the peace of mind that comes with a well done job goes a long way. I have nothing negative to say, and I am pleased with the decision I made.Update... A month later I started having water heater issues. I was so pleased with their service that I called them to inspect the unit. My old one was 16 years old and needed replacement.Update... I just had my new water heater installed by Andrei. He was wonderful and a pleasure to deal with. He was professional and kept me informed through the the entire process. I have no doubt the work was done right. I'm happy with the everyone and the entire process at Tipping Hat!

Muris was professional and walked me through each step of my Shower Drain repair. He seemed very knowledgeable in the field and even worked to help find me the best price for the repairs he did. As with any home repair the job wasn’t as straight forward as I expected and I’m happy Muris came to help.

Job was to replace the large wastewater-to-sewer line under the basement floor. A courteous and competent crew worked carefully and systematically: breaking concrete, excavating and removing the damaged pipe, installing the new pipe and connecting all the branches, filling the trench and pouring new concrete.This full-day job was completed with no mess and much less disruption to the household routine than I had anticipated.

While there were some challenges with individuals on this project and it went over on its schedule, we are ultimately very happy with the quality and price of this installation. While Elizabeth wasn't on the actual installation team, she was a key team member in helping us discuss the financing of this project. She was fantastic and a true asset to this organization. The project manager was a wonderful salesperson, but left a little lacking in overall communication of project progress. I also wanted to note that Tipping Hat did cover the repair when the electrician had to unexpectedly put a hole in our drywall. It took some prodding on our part, but they did follow through. Finally, they did a wonderful job of the removal of our swamp cooler which was included in the price of the AC installation.

We had our sewer pipe replaced by Muris from the kitchen drain through our basement floor and to the edge of our house. We are extremely happy with our service. Muris was beyond helpful and knowledgeable from the beginning. He was able to diagnose the issue that multiple other plumbers could not identify. After finding our issue he walked us through the whole process to fix it and a nice payment plan so that it wasn’t a big financial hit to us. The work Muris did was excellent and done with a great amount of care and cleanliness to our house. Every step of the way he clearly communicated and showed us what the old pipe looked like and all steps of digging it out to finally cementing it all back in. He would not go into the next step until we saw how it looked before moving on to the next step. It is hard to tell they were even here with how well they did and the cleanup they did. Muris was very professional and definitely deserves the title Service Pro because every thing he did for us was pro! He was always first on the site and last to leave. Usually have good experience. This time the original tech wasn’t able to complete job, Harold to obtain another part. Called multiple times to reschedule, finally got someone out but no one had informed him what we were needing work on or that the part was still needed.

No problem with the tech that showed up to give an estimate on a sewerline replacement. The problem is the company itself and the SOP they use. I informed the company I have already had the line scoped and have video .The rep that set the appointment said that the tech would look at it once they were on site,when the tech was on site he didn't want to see the video and insisted to do his own scope at a charge of $139. I didn't want to pay for a scope again since I already knew what the problem was. The company missed out on thousands for a scope ? Makes no sense, by the way when I got home the tech was on the roof with a scope already down the stack and he knew the issue. Save your time and look for another plumbing company.

They canceled our initial apt for a furnace tune up. We rescheduled. Then they canceled our follow up apt and referred us to someone else. They never said why they wouldn’t come out to our house. I wouldn’t use them. Absolutely ridiculous and awful customer service.

Everyone I spoke to listened to what I was requesting and kept me informed. Technician Ryan came out to provide a some estimates for replacement of a water heater, furnace and a/c. He was very knowledgeable, took the time to explain what equipment would be best and why. Also gave a variety of options to fit my budget.

I hired this company to install an entirely new HVAC system in October. It is now December and the job isn't complete. The work began promptly and the techs were all very kind (especially Kyle and Chappy). They worked hard and got it mostly done in 2 days time. Since then they have returned many times to fix multiple issues. Twice they have no-showed me which is unacceptable. Several other times the equipment was wrong or not enough time was allotted for the tech to finish the job properly. I paid in cash upfront $13k and I still get the runaround. Perhaps half now and half when the job is done would be better motivation? Scheduling error, shipping delays, and I just can't imagine what happened are excuses I've received. I am hoping they get it finished soon as this has taken time and effort weekly on my part for months. I am still waiting on HVAC filters, vent repair, and drywall repair for unnecessary cutouts.I will update accordingly.UPDATE: 5/1/23 It took weeks after this review for my filters to come and I only received half of them. Being as I had little effort left to give, I decided to let it go. I called several times mentioning the filters as I requested them to repair the drywall they removed, but I received neither. Until going into the crawl space I hadn't known they also left old discarded vents open so as to allow air from below the house into the house (very dusty area). Between all the promises left unfulfilled and lack of response for anything they hadn't planned for, I couldn't recommend the company. There are plenty to go with.I can say they make warranty calls pretty quickly but it never solves the existing issues, just what pops up. The techs are always very nice and as helpful as possible.

Michael Lia came out to provide us with an estimate for either installing a heat pump or an AC (we already have a working furnace). We were extremely happy with his estimate, professionalism, and - more than anything - how he helped us to understand what our options were and what would be best for this house. After getting several estimates from different companies, the Tipping Hat was really a standout in both the experience we had with Michael and with the services and inclusions they have in their pricing. We are unlikely to move forward with getting a system installed this year due to competing financial priorities, but when we are ready, we'll definitely be giving Michael a call.

Tipping Hat came in to replace a propane water heater with an electric one. Everything from the estimate where the master electrician came to the installation in a better location was done in a few hours. The area was left clean and all our questions were answered . Received a text at 7:50 am that estimator was on his way and should arrive by 835. By 930 no one has shown up. Called office and the guy had gone in to mechanic to have tires checked should be another 30-45 mins. Ok, this happens but a call to let me know would have been professional. Sit around waiting. Didn't show up until 1140am. No apologies. Reviews the job, prepares an estimate with a few options. Says he'll email the estimate and options from his truck before he leaves. Six hours later have not received an email.

Brandon is the saving grace of this company always very professional. I am dissatisfied with tipping hat overall I have been using them for years. I spent 18k on a new drain system. They left the floors and carpet torn up. My sink and toilet worked fine before they came and now nothing drains.

I had a completely new HVAC system installed by the Tipping Hat team this week. Expensive, sensitive home uograde that we do not take lightly. This required some extensive planning and modifications to my existing infrastructure and home. The team starting with sales through plumbing, electrical, install and more were great overall. They showed care from the beginning regarding my concerns and wishes and were quick to modify things as I requested. They work long hours and deal with a huge flux in temps day to day. They could have cleaned up better in the end, but that is my only negative comment. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work that was done. I have 2 tankless water heaters that feed the house that were not working. I have used Tipping Hat in the past because I think Applewood intentionally over charges. Now I think both Applewood and Tipping Hat do.The first tech came out and looked at the units and couldn't figure out what was wrong, so he called in the 2nd 'Master' tech. He was befuddled as well. Both techs were very nice and very professional, but I don't think have much experience with tankless water heaters, because they didn't have any it may be this.. options.The 3rd tech came in who had the most experience, and tried to see what is the problem. They were all very nice and timely. 3rd tech could not figure it our either and said that we would have to start trying to spend money on figuring out the problem by replacing electrical boards and sensors ($1600 +) or install new units - $22,000. That is a big number, but there is a unit here and in TX, and we should make a decision quickly so we can snag the TX unit. This is on a Friday with no cold water and an unhappy family.I did some research online and the units cost anywhere from $2-$2500. That would be $5k total, and if they mark it up a bit for profit, I get that, but to charge upwards to another $15k for install - basically replacing what is there - no plumbing or electrical work to be done. That seemed egregious.I went on youtube and did a couple of test after searching some videos, tests that none of the 3 techs did, and I fixed one of the units! Took me 30 minutes. I am not a plumber and would NOT recommend Tipping Hat to anyone else. They viewed my job as a money grab and should be ashamed. They could have run the few simple trouble shooting tests if they knew what they were doing.

We hired Tipping Hat for their quick response to our quote request and strong value when compared to other quotes we got. Except for one minor communication mix-up at the start of their job, everything they did exceeded our expectations. Cesar provided thorough, quality work when installing three ceiling fans and made sure every detail was done right. He also spent extra time ensuring that a light fixture was perfectly balanced. He went above and beyond in our home, and as a result, we will certainly higher Tipping Hat (& Cesar) for more jobs in the future. Thank you!

My humidifier wasn’t working. Jacob came out to fix it and do a furnace tuneup. He fixed up my clogged humidifier and when he started to do the tuneup, he noticed that the furnace motor was running VERY loud. Turns out it was running very hot (at least 120F) and drawing too much amperage. He ran and got a new motor, installed it, and it is quietly, efficiently working before he left. Thank you Jacob, for a job well done.

Team helped install a new efficient furnace, A/C unit, humidifier and air purifier in my home. They did it in one day! The 4-5 guys at my home throughout the day were very professional, kind and explained or showed me things while we went through the install. I was planning on going with Tipping Hat because I like supporting local businesses. But the salesman that came to give me a quote for a new furnace was an absolute grouch. He was NOT friendly at all and acted like my project was a huge burden and inconvenience to him. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but needless to say, we'll be going with another company for a new furnace.

Tipping Hat replaced a 40 year old boiler that had finally called it quits in one of my apartments. As a landlord, I have the opportunity to work with many different service companies, so I have a great sense for what is 'normal' for these kinds (plumbing, electric, etc.) of repairs. In short, Tipping Hat absolutely blew me away with the incredible service they provided on many different dimensions of the job.- The person they sent to diagnose my 'dead' boiler was unbelievably knowledgeable and had clearly exhausted every possible option for a less expensive repair.- The office staff I worked with to arrange a payment plan were surprisingly kind and efficient.- The site manager was also kind, capable, and efficient as well.- Finally: I know it is super weird to say this about plumbing, but the installation, itself, was actually beautiful... almost elegant. (To me: good plumbing is always perpendicular or parallel to itself and walls/ceilings, has joints that are free of sloppy soldering or scorch marks, and looks like everything there is 'intentional' (vs. just tied in to existing piping because it was faster or more convenient.) This work was good in all of those ways but was also (seriously) next level in that all parts were re-arranged so that they would be easier to operate and eventually replace. I literally took a picture to show my wife. It was amazing.Thanks to Tipping Hat for reminding me what AMAZING service and quality look like in an installation like this. I was interested in a hybrid hot water heater. Andrei tried to talk me out of it and was seemingly unaware of the rebates and tax credits that would make it more affordable, nor seemingly aware of the need for all homeowners to switch from natural gas appliances to electric to not only save money, but to address climate change. Furthermore, the estimate I was given was 2x the amount another company (who incidentally was up to speed on the rebates and tax credits etc. )

Used Tipping Hat to replace furnace. Michael was great to work with. Very responsive (which is hard to find often these days). He came before and after the install to make sure everything was done correctly.

Tech was very knowledgeable and explained the problems with our electrical system. Fixed the damaged outlet and inspected the others in the room. We will definitely be calling back in a few months to have our electrical panel replaced as it is 25yrs old and needs an upgrade as explained.

Andre was the plumber/tech that responded to my call. Fortunately I had a slow but serious leak on my water heater as opposed to a flood. He was clearly experienced and knowledgeable. I got a good quick quote and he performed the job same day, even though it was late in the afternoon when he started. Very happy with the results.

My mom called Tipping Hat earlier today and they sent someone out right away to fix a space heater she had in a back room. Unfortunately she can’t remember the techs name because I’d love for y’all to know who he is, he is a wonderful man! He came into the house went back to the heater, thanked my mom for still having the owners manual for the heater, he then cleaned it up and changed the filter all at no charge! My mom is 89 with early stages of dementia on a fixed income and this guardian Angel from Tipping Hat totally made her day and mine. I can’t thank you enough for sending such a wonderful repair tech to assist my mom! You’re lucky to have such a great employee. I highly recommend using this company for your needed services. We used Tipping Hat for our furnace cleaning and certification before listing our home for sale. Our technician explained everything and thoroughly cleaned it. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

They originally quoted me a Basic Shower Insert Install for $4383. I have the Hardcopy for this Quote. Then they discovered that I was planning to replace my Furnace and install Central AC. So they said everything (Shower, Furnace, AC) would be installed for $15,000. They immediately did the Furnace & AC for $11,500. And told me they would do the Shower later on a separate Invoice. We scheduled out the Shower Insert Install. When the Date came around they never showed up. They said the next day. Again never showed up. Then they said that they totally forget about the Shower job and needed to check out the work again. Then I met with another Shower guy different from the first Shower guy. He told me the job (Shower install alone) would actually cost between $15,000 - $16,000. About 4 TIMES more expensive than the original Shower Install quote. Looks like an old Bait n Switch routine on me to take the Furnace/AC install work away from another contractor I had already lined up. That Kodiak guy pulled one on me.

Called for quote on HVAC replacement. Adian was on time, professional, and explained everything. We have not yet decided which company we will go with but Tipping Hat is still in consideration.

Andrei and Brandon were awesome! They came out super quickly and fixed my broken furnace in under 30 minutes. I’m super impressed by their skill and professionalism.

Kodiak and team (Kyle, Noe, Gabe, etc.) were great. Kodiak was easy to communicate with, responded promptly, and delivered as promised. We started with a furnace over 35 years old that was limping along and space heaters in our bedrooms. We called tipping hat when our furnace started blowing cold air and shutting off before reaching the set temperature. The tune up turned into a new install (and electric panel upgrade) once we realized it was leaking CO and parts would cost more than a new until. I didn't realize how poorly it was doing until we got our new furnace and thermostat installed. Now our house is cozy and comfortable. I would use tipping hat again and recommend to others.

Met with Amber - she talked about what a great company they are! Tipping Hat has a reputation of being the most expensive company out there - first and foremost I was asking for a simple mini split system and they came back with a quote of $71K - this is a small bldg of 2400 sq.ft. mind you I have expensive equipment but there quote was more than some of my equipment - Tipping Hat - you need to reevaluate what you are charging - I am not a millionare and I do my homework - that's F%^#CKing RIDICULOUS - I will never reach out to you again.

We have always had great service from every technician that has come to our house. We've also shopped around and found that Tipping Hat provides the best value.

The tech came on time and looked at my problem. Pretty much told me my faucet needed to be replaced. He gave me 3 estimates. Because he really didn’t do much. He didn’t charge me for coming out. The tech was nice and professional.

Josh came and assessed what was needed and we set up an appointment for a future date when we had the parts and toilet needed. Very professional and personable. Ryan A. was available a little sooner so he came to do the job. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He replaced our toilet and also taught me a few things about plumbing maintenance for a home whichbI very much appreciated. We will be asking them to come back to do another bathroom as well as some things that need fixing. Great communication with the office staff as well. Highly recommend them.

We replaced our furnace and air conditioner - a significant project. Tipping Hat was extremely professional, the quality of the installation top notch and there was an in person follow up visit the next day to make sure we were satisfied. I have used them before (hot water heater replacement) and I had been pleased with that job as well. They are not a discount business but I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for. Their prices were in line with other quotes but they also offer different price levels if you wanted to go with less of an investment. Bonus - they offered a discount because we paid up front instead of financing. We would use them again for sure.

Worst service ever. They gave me a quote over the phone for a very standard job(replacing a kitchen sink), but when the plumber came he said it would cost much more than the quote given. After that, he explained that if he damages my countertop this would not be his responsibility. I called the office to clarify the situation and the clerk transferred me to a voice mail and stopped answering my phone calls…

I was happy to find this company on Yelp. They had great reviews (now I know why). Even before they came to instill I had 5 requests to review via text and email. Since then I have had an additional 5 requests. I was annoyed by this because the team did an amazing job and I was going to be happy to review them but after being harassed to do it I was not happy. That aside the team and the work was amazing. They were able to come give me an estimate the same day I called and complete the install 2 days later. They were very clean and courteous. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future. Brandon did my estimate and he was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Floyd did great with the electrical and went above and beyond with helping me set of the thermostat on my phone and wifi. Great team, bad marketing.

Tipping Hat installed my boiler a couple of years ago. I called this afternoon because my boiler was not kicking on, even when I turned the temperature up pretty high. I am still under warranty and was not sure if I would be charged for the service call. Michael L. came out this very afternoon and diagnosed and fixed my problem for free. He checked everything and ended up resetting a safety switch. He was very thorough, and checked my gas pressure after he got the boiler started again. He stayed to monitor that the boiler ignited itself for 3 cycles on and off. I have had Tipping Hat out a couple of times for service calls and have not been charged a dime since we are under warranty. I am a very satisfied customer.

Took off of work to be home for the appointment for my ac estimate. They never showed up, never called NOTHING!! So I am very livid at this company. They don’t value their customers at all.

Rickey came to my house on time. He listened to what I had to saw and my concerns. Rickey took time to evaluate the situation. We had a discussion on the options. I agreed with Rickey's best solution for a long term fix to an incoming to the house water main issues. The fix was done efficiently. It was done under estimated time. The room was left in better/clean condition than when Rickey arrived. I have used Tipping Hat several times and highly recommend then in all plumbing cases.

This company replaced a 6-inch portion of our pipe for the broiler system, took less than 30 minutes and charged more than $600. We have tried several times to talk to management about this without any result, no call back or response to messages.

Josh did a wonderful job giving us a fair and informed estimate and we were lucky enough to get an install date for the next day. His installation of our new water heater went smoothly and he kept us informed of what was going on throughout the process. Josh was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable! I called for service due to my boiler system not functioning as normal. Tipping hat was able to schedule me for same day service. The service tech Mitchell was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and was able to identify the issue on the system within 5 mins. Fix it within another 5 mins, 100% functioning. Not to mention the day prior I had another company come out and was told I needed to replace the entire piping of my system for $8,000. You have created a loyal customer out of this.

We bought a Noritz tankless water heaters 4 years ago. Josh reminded us that it was time to service it. And the servicing was included in the purchase from 2018 ! Also, he replaced the valve in the upstairs shower with ease. (Slow drip). He also replaced the filters in out water purifier. Very professional, cleaned up work areas, and was very easy to talk to. Not a pushy salesman. Tipping Hat has done lots of other work for us and have always been great, but a wee bit expensive. Remember, you get what you pay for !

The quote on line said $89, when the scheduler was about to hang up they said it would be a $40something dollar inspection fee. When the technician arrived and I said there was a toilet he wasn’t willing to try the laundry room drain but instead said it’s an extra $149 to remove and reset the toilet.I know they are just doing their job but going from $89 to almost $300 kind of seems like “false” advertising.I accidentally used Tipping Hat at a rental “terrible!” And given this last experience won’t be using Tipping Hat again.

Michael came out and did a thorough diagnostic on our old furnace and we were lucky enough that they were able to install a new one the very next day. We contacted Tipping Hat after a larger plumbing company gave us a run-around on our appointment time.Seth arrived late afternoon on a Saturday, diagnosed the issue with our kitchen drain, and quickly repaired it. All while we were out of town with a house-sitter coordinating the work and for a very fair price. He did an awesome job communicating with me through the process.We have a couple much larger plumbing projects to tackle, and will call Tipping Hat to handle these knowing they price their services fairly and are prompt.

The house we purchased has an old boiler for heating and the boiler needed serviced. Servicing the boiler has given it more years to its life. Very happy that that has been taken care of. The young man was very proficient, and very pleased with his work.

New boiler replacement was like a piece of art, best work I have ever seen. Answered all my questions. The first plumbing company I worked with refused to clean the existing boiler (worried they might break something) and provided a quote to replace boiler almost double the quote from Tipping Hat. Floyd really knows his way around boilers.

Austin was great! He arrived on time and listened when I explained to him about the low water pressure at my townhouse. He explained the steps he needed to take to remedy the issue. The repair was quick and he was very professional throughout his visit. I highly recommend.

This is complaint about the plumbing industry in general and the price of the work in particular. You cannot get any idea of a general price unless a tech comes out to your property which, of course involves a trip charge. Once there you get your estimate, if you don't like it, well there is your trip charge and you've just added it to the next person who you try to get an estimate from, you are a bit of a hostage. I am asking for an ESTIMATE, not a firm price and while I'm not a plumbing expert, I do have an idea of what the problem most likely is.Now, the job was exactly what I told them when I called to get an appointment. My toilet was leaking at the base and needed to be reset with new wax, exactly what the tech told me upon his inspection (two screws, move the toilet, clean the area, new wax, inspect, replace the wax,, reset the toilet. The valve was 10 minutes start to finish). The tech also replaced the shut off valve and the entire job was done in less than 1 hour, total cost, $634.00.As a customer, your home is leaking, and the person is there, what do you do? If you try another company, which will be the same scenario, more time and expense and the leak continues.NOTE: My tech was polite, professional and a very pleasant individual, his work was quick, efficient and thorough, this is not a complaint against him, but, my god, the cost!At 70 years of age, I can no longer do this work myself and have to rely on others to do what I no longer can. It isn't Tipping Hat per se, it is the way the industry works and a company can do it better if they chose to. I feel taken of advantage of by the whole industry, yes prices everywhere have gone up we all are subject to that, but again, the price for the work done..

JJ the electrician was super nice to work with- recommend highly. I learned a lot from him. Elijah and Tommy were very professional in their job and showed very nice workmanship. Tommy was super helpful in teaching us about our heating system as well as an aside. We were super grateful for Tipping Hat’s prompt response when our water heater failed. Tipping had responded quickly to my call and investigated the water heater issue. But they quoted $5K to replace a 29 gallon water heater in an 800 SF condo. I called some others and had the work done by a different plumber for less than half that. I feel like they'll gouge you if they can. Will not call them back again.

Tipping Hat installed a new a/c and furnace in my crawlspace nearly 4 years ago, and although the price may have been a little higher than anticipated, the units themselves have operated flawlessly. Today they came out for a furnace check-up, arrived on time and finished the job posthaste and were out the door before I knew it. He found the problem, fixed it promptly and set us up for a service in the spring before leaving our house. Andrei M. Installed a new water heater after my old one could not be saved. I was leaving on a trip the next day and this was so awesome that he completed the work before I left. I specifically scheduled a water heater inspection (a month ago) with Tipping Hat because I've had superior customer service from them in the past.My appointment was today at 2:00 and I both moved things around in my Calendar and physically moved boxes to accommodate the inspection. At 8:00 am they texted me to tell me they would not be coming and to schedule with another plumbing company. According to the message, the technician who handles water heater inspections isn't taking new clients.First, I'm not a new client. I've had them to my house at least two times. Second, I've been on their books for a month, so there was ample time for them to cancel this appointment. A six-hour notice just isn't professional.I understand that things happen. I've cancelled day-of appointments and hope the business understands. But, this cancellation doesn't hold up.

Josh was amazing. My 70 year old plumbing kept throwing him problem after problem, and he made sure everything was updated properly and did a great job.

Furnace was purchased over a year ago. Was told at that time I would receive follow up calls to check in on my equipment and a service person would would come out for scheduled maintenance. That hadn’t happen. When my furnace quit working, I called for repair. The service guy told my son had I scheduled the maintenance, the problem wouldn’t have happened. I had no idea a scheduled maintenance needed to be done. Or that I had to arrange that! I was told Tipping Hat would call me to set it up. I feel like they said a lot to sell me the furnace and their service then dropped the ball after I purchased the furnace.

I had Tipping Hat install a new AC unit. With that they then told me I needed a new humidifier and thermostat. I have had issues ever since with these units and they seem to try to fix them but never complete the work correctly. Above that they never show up on time. I’m not sure how the first appointment of the day can be 6 hours late. They also do no call to let you know they will be late. They also send the wrong tech to work on the issues. The current issue seems to be a controller board, thermostat and network issue and the technician actually stated he didn’t know much about these items and wasn’t sure why he was there.

Totally professional company and quality workers. They replaced our furnace and air conditioner in 8 hours of perfectly choreographed, efficient hard work. Sean and Elijah, the installers, are great guys. They were friendly and made sure to get our input when needed. They hauled all the old equipment and some old duct work to the street and within a couple of hours, their recycler had taken it away as they completed the installation. The electricians did their jobs and nothing slowed down. The specifications and plans were done by Michael. He's smart and has an attention to detail. Michael said that the return air ducts were too small when the house was built 33 years ago. He increased the duct size and we now have air coming out of the upstairs vents like never before. Summer should be so much more comfortable.All the people from Tipping Hat were simply the best. We will use them in the future for any plumbing or electrical work. They've already done a great job with the heating and cooling.

Sean B, Remington B, and Bart, the installation team, did an incredible job tearing out the old boiler and installing the new equipment.

Our furnace stopped working early this week, and after researching companies around Denver and requesting a bid for pricing of services, Tipping Hat was the first company to call us. They could schedule someone to come by the next day and take a look at everything going on. Ryan was incredibly helpful, and we appreciated how communicative he was. He explained everything that was going on with our furnace and discussed what was needed to get our furnace running again. Seth and Matthew spent about 2 hours at my home for what turned out to be a complicated drain clearing. Seth was uncomfortable with using a snake to unclog my kitchen sink after examining the 50 year old pipes. He was determined to evaluate all possibilities so he and Matthew located another entry point in the basement, allowing the job to continue without compromising or damaging my current plumbing. They were thorough, professional and seemed genuinely interested in doing a good job. When the pilot on my HWH went out and wouldn't reignite I needed professional support I contacted Tipping Hat. They had availability the next afternoon so I took the slot. To my surprise the tech was available about an hour sooner than expected. Andrei inspected the unit and was able to provide an informative assessment of the 16 y.o. unit, which led me to determine that replacement was best course of action.Within an hour he was back with all necessary parts and spent the next 3 hours replacing it.Very professional. Tipping Hat performed some plumbing work for us before, so when the kitchen sink (and master bedroom) drain branch clogged, I called them. 15 minutes and the drain was cleared. Andrei arrived about 30 minutes early for what was to be a routine flush of our 17 year old gas water heater tank. Problems ensued and we ended up needing a new water heater tank. Fortunately he had one on his truck which had positive online reviews and we authorized him to proceed. He communicated very well with us and was sensitive to our situation, leaving us without water for only about an hour. When he finished, he explained about the water heater and we agreed to a longer term maintenance plan. Very positive experience overall.

We had been out of town and returned to a cold home. I had used Tipping Hat before and been happy with their work so I called them. They were able to come in a couple of hours. Ryan came out and identified what was wrong and the cost. He also identified options for a new boiler since the repair costs could be rolled into a new unit. We agreed a new unit so the best choice. Floyd and Juan were able to install a new unit within 2 days of the call. They spent ten and half hours to get the job done. They hauled all the old equipment off and went over the boiler operation. The boiler did need a revisit as the gas/oxygen mixture was off due to our elevation. Ryan came right out and spent three hours going thru everything to insure the boiler was providing us heat. I appreciate TP Hat’s professionalism at all levels.

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, I woke up to a 52º house. My 30-year-old furnace finally gave up the ghost. I called Tipping Hat and was greeted by Nancy (?) at 7:52 am. She was immediately empathetic and got me on the schedule. Adam arrived at my house that afternoon and diagnosed the death of said furnace. He shared my options for repair or replacement and the price point for each. At no point did I feel pressured to choose one over the other. After deciding on the replacement, I was put on the schedule for the following morning. Floyd and Juan arrived 15 minutes before their scheduled time and let me tell you, they were the dream team! Professional, kind, and very careful of my house. They had the installation done well before the estimated time. They cleaned up after themselves, and they made sure everything was shipshape and I knew how to run the system. Then later that night, I got a knock on the door to find Adam standing there at the end of his day. He wanted to do a walkthrough to make sure all looked well and to double-check to see if I had any questions. Even though my furnace is still working, my AC has been on its last leg for the past few years. I contacted a handful of companies, including Tipping Hat, for quotes to have my entire system replaced. After several weeks of consideration, including the type of system, prices, and meeting with company representatives, I chose Tipping Hat though their quote is not the lowest one. During the process, Elizabeth was very polite and helpful with my questions. I met with Brandon P. (lead) at least twice before deciding. He was very straightforward addressing my needs and concerns, and more importantly, the end result. I choose 2-stage 96% efficiency initially, but this required ripping up some parts of my finished basement ceiling to route the PVC pipe. Due to some challenges and possible issues ahead, I settled with the 80%. The team was here as scheduled and were respectful, accommodating, and professional. After completion, Corey M. and Steven Chappy C. patiently went over the operation system and safety to make sure I understood. I am very satisfied with the work so far, but the services thereafter remain to be seen.

Coltan came out on a call for a bad wax ring on our toilet. He was very generous with his time and knowledge and took a look at several issues that we were concerned about, offering clear and helpful advice for all. He ended up rebuilding and reseating that toilet, which fixed the problem and should prevent future problems for years to come. He also took a look at our overall system, taught us why we needed an expansion tank on our water heater, and was able to get that installed the same day. It's a relief to know our system is in good shape now.The entire time he was courteous and professional. The cost was reasonable and there was never a pitch for any kind of service plan or other add-on that we didn't need. We're impressed with Tipping Hat and will be happy to have Coltan back any time we need help.

Everyone else offered appointments in 1-4 days when I called for a quote on a new furnace and a/c, which I waited for even though we had no heat and it was 10 degrees out. I should have called Tipping hat first! They came out within just a few hours of my call for a quote and offered installation the next day. Tipping hat beat the next closest quote by more than $5,000 for a comparable system. The installation they did only took one day and their work was top notch, they even gave me a 3 year service plan for the equipment!

I had a problem with my Ring doorbell not working. JJ Graham provided excellent service. He worked to get the power restored to the doorbell and came back the next day to install a new Ring doorbell, that I purchased, as the old one was faulty. There were difficulties in getting the video to work and he stayed until everything was working perfectly. He was thorough, and worked diligently to make sure everything was working properly. They quoted me over $10,000 for a job I had done for $4,250 by another company. I had also gotten another quote of $8,000 for same job so Tipping Hat was beyond ridiculous in their pricing.

Mitchell was prompt, knowledgeable, efficient, and thoroughly professional. As a technician, I certainly recommend him. Billy came for about five minutes to check on Mitchell and then left. Mitchell defined the problem quickly, a nonfunctioning zone valve, and then pointed out several other things that could be corrected. He prepared three estimates: $564 to repair the valve; $3000 to repair the other items; and $7000 to do a complete overhaul. I was shocked by the estimates and questioned why replacement of one zone valve should be $564. The explanation involved cost of the part, shipping, supply chains, etc. I was going to replace the valve myself but, in addition to this problem, had a refrigerator whose compressor quit and had to be replaced, and a car in the shop and did not want to deal with it. I told him to go ahead. It took less than ten minutes to insert the new valve. As he was doing it, I checked Amazon and the Honeywell valve retail cost is $76. He was there about one hour, so if Tipping Hat bought the valves at retail cost, their technician makes $488/hr. Everything is working fine now, no complaints, and it was done professionally. But their charges are exorbitant and I cannot recommend them for value or quality.

I purchased A/C and furnace from Adian Sarajlija at Tipping Hat Plumbing, Heating & Electric. Installed A/C unit and furnace on 10/20/2020. The humidifier fell off the furnace on 10/22/2020. I called the Tipping Hat Plumbing, Heating & Electric, at 5:07 PM. The humidifier was detached from the vent, left a big hole on the vent; I stated water pouring out of the humidifier water pipe and send those pictures to their [email protected] as the receptionist asked. Tipping Hat's plumper, Brian called and instructed me how to turn off the water pipe valve. He asked me to use cardboard to seal the hole on the vent. I moved out all the boxes and drying out the floor, and Duck taped the hole with cardboard that night. On 10/23 morning, I called Tipping Hat at 9:00 am to ask when the technician would fix the problem. They told me it would be 10/26 that Monday. I was shocked by their response to their brand new customer who even has a 4-year service package with all new A/C and furnace just installed a couple of days ago. So here I am writing my first review. What should I do? I will be updating you later.

Brian is very professional and did a great job replacing a hose bib and cut off valve. The working area of the pipe was very small but Brian handed it with great skill Left everything tidy when he was finished.

After my AC unit broke down this summer in 95+ degree heat, I googled HVAC companies and came across Tipping Hat. Since they had great reviews I decided to give them a call. Their customer service people were outstanding and were able to get a tech out to my home the same day. The Tech, Mitchell arrived on time and quickly diagnosed my issue. After reviewing my options, I decided it might be better to replace rather than repair my unit. Michael Lia the tech manager arrived the same day, reviewed the condition of my 15 year old installation, and offered several options to improve the overall airflow in my home. I hesitated and decided to gather additional quotes from local providers. At the end of the day, Tipping Hat's original quotes were competitive with the competition and I decided to go with them. 5 days later (delayed only by my own travel plans) , Michael, Manny, Alden and Romeo arrived to replace my entire system. Requested a quote for a home water softening and filtration system, and a point-of-use reverse osmosis system. The softening & filtration packages were extremely overpriced. I have an instant hot water tap (separate from the main sink faucet) that has its own filtration system, and I was told that I couldn't use it for reverse osmosis because the faucet was made of metal. I was told I'd have to drill a new hole in my counter top and that I would need a new, separate faucet. Not only did that make no sense, it was completely untrue. I now have an RO system that replaces the filtered portion of my previous setup with no unnecessary drilling into my counter top. Glad I avoided that costly mistake.

Tipping Hat has been an absolute nightmare to deal with for the past 3 weeks. Heater has been out and they just keep coming by to tinker with things to get it to work for it to just stop working again after an hour. I'm getting really tired of waking up to a house being 38 degrees every morning. After 4 visits and an excessive amount of back and forth with my landlord while they are refusing to call me back or inform me of anything going on, which is important since I'm the one who lives there and I'm the one who needs for everything to be scheduled with, it's finally decided that they need to replace the entire furnace on Friday December 23rd. I'm told that the place they get their parts from is closed on Monday December 26th so they will be able to come install it on Tuesday December 27th. So I arrange for someone to be able to be there for this work since I've already missed multiple days of work so they can come by and never fix it. I call on Monday to confirm they will be there on Tuesday and am told that they can't and they will be there on Wednesday. It was never discussed with me that Wednesday was their plan, so had I not called no one would have shown up on Tuesday when someone was there, like I had originally been told they would be. They refuse to communicate and they're incapable of doing the job they were hired for. 3 weeks and still nothing but freezing cold nights and mornings every single day while they've been blowing me off. Absolutely pathetic and a nightmare to deal with.

The guys installing were great. The issue was how poorly they communicated. We were too small of a job for them to follow through with bringing two folks out. They scheduled for Monday, didn’t show, and then acted like it was supposed to be for Tuesday the entire time. It was a frustrating experience. You’ll pay less but have a migraine the entire way through.

Andrei arrived before the appointment time. Had a sewer line backup that flooded the basement. He did a great job explaining the problem and scoping the line. I used Tipping Hat last year to install a new ac unit (replacing swamp cooler), new water heater and new furnace (replacing 25 year old furnace in our “new” home). The whole process took all day, which was understandable, and took a large team of a dozen people or so. Everyone was super friendly and professional we’re very happy with the work. Andrei was quick and attentive, listened to my problem description which helped him identify the most likely solution. It was a tricky problem. But his isolation methodology was sound and he took great care before he cut his first hole in the drywall.

This was the third time we have had Tipping Hat Heat out to our house. The first time they installed two furnaces for us the second time they installed gas lines all around the house for fire pits and barbecue grills. The third time they did extensive electrical work for us we're heating a couple bathrooms that we remodeled. As usual these guys are top notch! My noon appointment was able to move up to 9:30 and the issue was diagnosed within 20 minutes of arrival. Only $49 for an initial visit and diagnosis where it was not an obvious problem. I’ve used Tipping Hat in the past for several repairs including Furnace replacement, duct work, and plumbing installation and their work was always performed with quality, timeliness and reasonable cost in mind. So went I needed my AC unit replaced I reached back out to the team over there. They provided several options, including some upgrades and work with us to find the right solution within budget. Brandon has been super helpful with our difficult home renovation. We had a swamp cooler installed to replace an old one and it wasn’t working correctly and they have not stopped troubleshooting to get it right. There service has been impeccable each visit and Brandon has been in constant communication. There work ethic has been impressive that we hired them to redo our entire electrical panel and other electrical work and sewer lines. We got a new boiler/combo water heater. The crew could not have been better. They were knowledgeable, professional, and very polite to us and each other. They worked for 2 days and got the heat working the first day. Definitely would recommend them.

Tipping Hat went above and beyond when completing work with us! A few weeks ago, our A/C stopped working. After swapping out the thermostat thinking that was the problem, we had someone (not from Tipping Hat) come out and determine the circuit board had stopped working. Considering our system was 26-years-old, it made more sense to get a new system rather than fix a circuit board (which could’ve cost a couple thousand alone). We ran to Costco to get a good deal with a Cooper installation, something we had done in the past. Unfortunately, Cooper wasn’t able to complete the work until the end of June. Additionally, I was led to believe I could qualify for 0% financing for 12 months with Cooper. Once I applied, I found out I was only going to qualify for 45% of the project total.While trying to figure out where we would come up with the remaining $9,100, we came across Tipping Hat’s website by happenstance, and saw they were currently running a special for a free furnace with the purchase of an A/C. I called them Friday 6/3 and they were able to get Kodiak (and Joseph - current trainee) out to us within the hour! Kodiak and Joseph were friendly and knowledgeable and really tried to meet us where we had to be, while still getting us a system we needed. After running numbers, we decided we needed time to look over the packages and figure out the financing side. Kodiak and I agreed to speak again before the end of the day because he didn’t want us to lose a spot on the schedule.Well, I was back on the phone with Kodiak about 10 minutes later and, rather than having me figure out the financing, Kodiak and Joseph drove back to our house to set it up personally. Kodiak got on the phone with financing and helped us qualify for and get the entire project funded at 0% financing for 6 years! He then helped us get set up to have installation done the next day! They originally didn’t have any openings for Saturday, but he reached out to the technicians and explained that we had a baby at home and no A/C, so would anyone pick up a Saturday job and they did.Alden and John came out Saturday morning and got right to work! They did a complete install and were done and explaining to us our new system by 2:30 pm and our house was cooled back down by 3! The guys left everything clean and in great condition! Kodiak called within 10 minutes of Alden and John leaving to follow up and make sure all went well, which I assured him it did.We had Cesar come out Tuesday morning to do some electrical work related to the system, and he also was friendly and knowledgeable. Kodiak followed up later that day for a quick signature and to confirm that Alden and John would be back Thursday to install a couple of vents in our unfinished basement (part of the package we had purchased). They showed up Thursday morning around 9:30 and were done by 11:30, with, again, quick and clean work!The whole team really made sure our needs were met and discussed with us whenever a decision had to be made. I don’t know when was the last time I worked with a company this incredibly seamless, knowledgeable, and considerate!To really drive the point home of how amazing this company is, we were on track to spend $16,657 for a new furnace and A/C with Cooper. With Tipping Hat, we received a new furnace, A/C, whole house humidifier, whole house air purifier, 2 additional vents in the basement, 4 years worth of furnace filters, 4 years of yearly maintenance tune-ups, and a $500 credit towards a future service of any kind with them (oh, also, they were able to get us an Xcel rebate)…for $16,412…100% funded with 0% financing for 6 years.Make the call to Tipping Hat today, you won’t regret it!

I was extremely pleased by the excellent service of Tipping Hat replacing my air conditioning system. The job was complex but they worked through the problems and I was very happy with the outcome. From installing the new AC system to rewiring the electrical system, they did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend them. These guys did awesome work, and have great financing options. We needed our ancient AC unit and furnace replaced and they got a quality job done within one day. We ended up doing 60 months 0% APR financing, which some of the competitors couldn't offer. They are definitely not the cheapest, so look elsewhere if you are looking to cut corners. For me, the four years of free service and maintenance for both the AC and furnace made a big difference when choosing who to go with.

We lost our air conditioning. The technician showed up on time to evaluate it and my furnace. Both are 18 years or older and needed replacements. The tech took the time to show me all the problems with both systems. Physically showing me the problems so i could make a knowledgeable decision on my next path.We decided to replace both units and that's when we got the quote. It was almost half of what i thought it would be. They had several units to choose from and different payment options.Next was scheduling the job. We figured a week to wait in the hot August sun. Great experience today with Tipping Hat - Seth and Kodiak were very professional and courteous and took care of our sewer main line back up very quickly. They explained everything they did and were doing. Would highly recommend them and will use them again for sure..

I called for someone to come out and check my evaporate cooler, which was making loud buzzing noises and not cooling properly. We thought for sure our unit would cease up if not blow up if we couldn't get it checked out. Tipping Hat Plumbing saved our bathroom! We had a leak due to some shoddy work done before we purchased our condo. The leak effected our unit and the one below. Worst of all, it put our shower out of commission.We owe Jay so much!! He was able not only to identify the source of our problem, but assist in navigating what turned into an un-scheduled shower remodel. DO NOT USE! THEY EXORBITANTLY OVERCHARGE with little or no explanation of what they are charging for.Jay came to check on a single leaking cold water valve going to my washer. I was quoted $49 for service charge for assessment of the issue.He then said he could fix both valves the same day for $410.I agreed to that price verbally as I needed to use my new washing machine.But, then he ended up leaving in a hurry (after only about an hour of work) and charging me $510.40 when I know the parts only cost about $15 each from Home depot!!Also, he accidentally charged me twice!!! So I had to call to get one charge removed.But, More importantly the main reason why I'm not happy with this service is they charge me the $510.40 without any kind of receipt or official invoice or documentation of what was actually done in my home.I have now called everyday for the last 3 days asking for this itemized invoice or at least a receipt which I need for my records and for homeowners insurance purposes. And I continue to get the runaround. I don't understand why any business would just charge someone without giving a written explanation for the work that was done and the costs involved.After many calls and emails back and forth for about a week, I finally received the paperwork which said they were charging $638 but with a $127.60 rebate! This is outrageous!!!!!!!UPDATE 10/14/22: I spoke to Ken ( one of the owners on the phone) but he was not able to justify the high price. And, continued to offer only excuses.

Tipping Hat installed a new furnace for us about 2 years ago, and yesterday it was putting out cool air instead of heat. I called this morning and just a few hours later Service Pro Steven Jones came out to diagnose the problem. From my experience with Tipping Hat installing this new AC, I could not recommend them enough. Brian as the supervisor communicated effectively with me on where things were at and his estimate was quite good. Dario and John also made quick work of the install despite having to install a sump pump and do some custom work to make sure I wasn't losing any air through the filter slot. I would highly recommend their services when it comes to HVAC.

Called Tipping Hat out of a panic due to service call gone bad from another company to repair AC unit. Joseph was out here in Roxborough with in hours to assess the situation and offered options to remedy. We were offered 4 options to choose from and financing if we needed. adam is a nice man and know his HVAC.But since you ONLY handle Reem it was a non starter. I have a newer furnace and just wanted a Heat Pump to add onto the current system. If you would have stated UP FRONT you only do Reem I would have told you to now waste you time coming to the home for a review of our system. I contacted Tipping Hat back in 2021 to have my a/c and furnace replaced. I then had to cancel the install due to unforeseen circumstances. Tipping Hat was still willing to take my business even after having to cancel. I proceeded to schedule another install only to have to cancel again due to Covid. I recently called them back to see if my original offer was still available and they were more than willing to honor the original price as much as they could. They were even able to do a next day install. The techs were great. Punctual and professional. Their work turned out great and I am thankful for their patience with me. Great company. Highly recommend.

Our very old A/C unit had been on the fritz and we called Tipping Hat to come check it out. While we were expecting it, it’s never good news to hear you need to replace your entire HVAC system. After attempting refurb on old furnace, i needed a new furnace install (w/ac and even a new wifi thermostat included), which i expected. They had it scheduled and completed the next day. John and Danny provided me with a quality assessment of my old Lennox furnace. The explanation of repairs or replacement options was appreciated with no pressure to commit to either. Both Danny and John were very respectful and positive about the service they provided. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Two years ago we had a new swamp cooler installed. Yesterday, the ceiling in my office collapsed from rain water getting in around the seal of the new cooler. Apparently, the old trunk was really corroded and instead of bringing it to our attention, they installed the new unit right on top of it. Had it been brought to our attention we would have had the trunk fixed two years ago. Now we are left with figuring out how to repair this. Never again.

I had purchased a maintenance protection on my water heater and they came to drain it and make sure all sediment was released from tank.

I had a hard-to-find leak into my crawl space. Two other people came and looked and missed the leak. Andrei came and did a great job of analyzing what he was seeing, and noticed things others did not- which led him to the answer. His service was a 5 out of 5. I would give the company as a whole a 5 but others I dealt with there made a couple of mistakes. Still, they owned their mistakes, treated me fairly, were quick to get someone out, and were very professional in all regards. The plumber who was assigned to me was Andrei. He was knowledgeable, friendly, resourceful, and helpful, and I will continue to be a Tipping Hat customer as long as Andrei is employed there. I’ve been living in Colorado since 2015, and it seems like every year I see my neighbors with a tipping hot truck in the driveway. And so when I went to look for an electrician I called out to tipping hat because I had seen them around for such a long time. I was very pleased with the service that was provided by Caesar and his supervisor Aiden. I would definitely choose to work with them.

Jacob P was very professional and was able to quickly fix our furnace issue. This was unfortunately after the first technician Steven who initially did an overhaul caused the furnace to no longer work. Regardless of the first incident the company was quick to respond and fix the issue, I would use their services again but not request Steven to be our technician.

All of the guys that performed the services as well as the representatives that take the calls are top notch at this company. Alex and Bob are great at helping get whatever paperwork is needed, and Brandon, along with Kodiak were phenomenal with their work in determining what the real problem was. Unfortunately for me it was a BIG problem. The guys had to tear up my basement floor (the smallest amount possible) to reach the pipes that needed replacing, put in new, high quality lines and drain, and then repair the concrete that had to be torn up. It was a big job but they got it done efficiently and did a great job. The guys that performed the repair work were meticulous in their completion and even moved all the necessary shelves, appliances, etc. in my basement before starting and after they were finished. Brandon swept up the work area after he moved the appliances back in place and everyone wore boot covers in the house to minimize dust traction. Very professional from beginning to end. The value for the work completed was beyond, and I’m so appreciative to have a working sewer system that I can rely on again without clogs or floods. If you need a job well done and plumbers you can trust, these are your guys.

Appt to get a quote to replace 40 year old hvac in my house. Brian was very thorough, offered a deal expiring that day which put me off a bit. He said he would email me all the detailed quote info, he never did. Pretty disappointed on the lack of follow up. Also did not ask if I wanted the air purifier or their 4 year service contract, it was just included. Not sure if I’d have to take those items or not.

Tipping Hat was among the contractors I found on Angi to have my furnace and A/C unit serviced. I knew my furnace and A/C unit were older and I was hoping that they would hold out for another year. To my dismay, my furnace was only producing at 30% capacity, the blower motor was on it's last legs, and the cost of repairing it wasn't sensible. My experiences with this company were exceptional, and I really appreciated that the technicians listened to my concerns and took the time to explain to me what needed to be done, and to answer all of my questions. Austin and Romeo wrote me a Thank you Note after my new furnace and A/C units had been installed. I was very touched by this, and I can honestly say that I have never been made to feel as such a valued customer from any other company in my life. With this kind of customer service, they will have me as a customer for life! I have been recommending Tipping Hat to all of my friends!

Furnace repair - unable to re-ignite the pilot light. John came over and quickly diagnosed the problem. After the pilot was back on John replaced the filter and told me some of his concerns the furnace. John was knowledgeable, courteous and was able to explain issues that even I could understand. GREAT JOB!

The installation of my HVAC system was great. The service and customer service on that day set tipping hat apart from the competition. Unfortunately, it ended there. A simple error code on our new thermostat took 4 phone calls over 2 day to finally get a technician to the house. But they could not get there for two weeks. This fix was simple and could have been explained over the phone.I am nervous to see what happens when there is a more serious outage with our system.

I've had a few experiences now working with Tipping Hat for plumbing, heating, and electrical work. I purchased my HVAC unit and water heater from them.Ryan A. came out (Jan 2023) to handle a repair of a manufacturer defect in my new water heater. He was professional and a good conversation while we waited for the heater to drain. The repair was done quickly and covered by the warranty service Tipping Hat offered on my system.Alex investigated an AC related HVAC issue in July 2022. He gave me some suggestions to try better utilizing the equipment installed after finding no issues with the unit. The system's been healthy since the inspection. Josh M. handled the heater inspection in Feb 2023I have an older home. In 2021 I had some electrical issues in a garage that seemed wired up by a madman. Kyler came out, gave me an estimate, scheduled the work, and made sure everything went to plan.(Dec 2022) Andrei came out and fixed a broken shower that was spraying water and a leak at the household shutoff. The turnaround time from scheduling to having running water was great. Both issues were quickly resolved (and right before a holiday weekend).Their branding is on point, their service has been good when I can get a professional out. In the past their non-emergency scheduling has left something to be desired in the Denver Metro Area, but when it can't wait they'll be quick to get you in the schedule.

Chappy and Tipping Hat replaced my air conditioner and heating unit. The entire team was professional and courteous and they delivered top notch work. After a hot summer I'm thrilled with the performance of my air conditioner. My bill is lower also because the unit is so much more efficient than the one they replaced.

We used Tipping Hat 2 years ago for a new furnace and they were amazing so when my toilets all cracked Tipping Hat was the 1st company I called. They are so friendly and came out the very next day and also looked at my yard issue to confirm it’s not my sewer but the sprinkler system. Huge relief!!!!! They’re coming back tomorrow with the new toilets. I can’t say enough good things about Tipping Hat and all of their employees. They are outstanding and we will never use anyone else!!

I called to have someone service my furnace which was not heating. Kathy was very helpful and called me within 20 minutes after my initial call that someone would be coming in the next 30 minutes. A/C stopped working on 4th of July while baking! We got HOT! Called our home warranty company and they couldn't find anyone for 2 days. We made an appointment and technician Josh came out within a couple of days. We discussed water heaters, picked out one for a great value, and scheduled the installation. Josh discussed the maintenance programs as well. He arrived on time, installed the water heater, and reviewed all the features. He was totally professional, friendly, and efficient. Friendly and knowledgeable employees who work fast and get it done right. My city inspector looked at the job, smiled, and said it looked perfect. My only concern is that all HVAC companies, including tipping hat, seem to jump to the replacement option really fast by pointing out little wear and tear issues, and of course the government causes even more confusion by changing the codes every couple years. But that industry wide issue aside, Tipping Hat is top-notch.

Called Tipping Hat for a basic sewer line rooting service. Kathy very helpful as first contact. She arranged for Seth to come the next day. Had LOTS of initial questions for both of them and they took the time to ensure I understood what was happening from start to finish. Also appreciated meeting Joe, who was called on later to help navigate through some tight turns in the pipeline. It was impressive to me that Seth paused when these issues blocked his progress and that he was able to get some prompt assistance from another colleague to ensure they proceeded correctly. I was charged the price from the initial quote and am very satisfied with the work that was done and with all the follow-up information I was given on future maintenance and repair. As the opportunities arise, I will recommend them confidently to family and friends.

We have had less than desirable experiences with other companies! We are very pleased with Tipping Hat. This is the first time we used them. We needed to replace our furnace. Michael was very good at telling us about Tipping Hat and their products. One thing that was very impressive to us was after deciding to make the purchase, he showed up on installation day to make sure everything was going right. And then showed up again when the install was finished to make sure everything was done and done properly! No other company has ever done that! Aaron, Alden and Rick were very nice. Did a great job and were respective of our home. We will be using Tipping Hat again in the future.

Tipping Hat recently replaced my furnace and installed a central air conditioning system for me. From my first interaction with Michael L reviewing their services to my interaction with their installation crews, I couldn't be more satisfied. Michael did a very thorough job of assessing my needs, evaluating my homes condition and recommending the appropriate equipment. Then the installation team of Chappie, Corey, Noe, et al. proceeded with the removal of old equipment and the installation of new equipment. The process was extremely smooth. Whatever obstacles encountered were professionally assessed and remedied. Attention to detail and pride in their work was evident from the beginning. Whatever information needed was carefully and patiently explained. I am very happy and Satisfied with Tipping Hat.

We did end up needing a/c, plumbing and electrical work but it's great to have a one stop shop with that many experts at your disposal. Cesar was amazing!!! He was on time for the appointment and got down right to the issue to fix it. He also gave me a great quote for other issues that need to be fixed. I will be using tipping hat again!!

The job was complete in a timely manner. The staff was polite and professional from admin to the field workers. My concern if any, was that the quote of removing the camode in the case it were to be needing removed was different from what the admin quoted from what the field workers then quoted. As you can imagine, I was NOT in a position to power struggle the new quote and unexpected.The charge for the $86 special to clear the drain turned into $249 rate with an added service fee of $49 then the quote of $90 to $120 camode removal turns out to be $139 quote to remove the camode. My gratitude is that: 1) I had my Christmas money to pay for this and 2) I did not have to live with this issue over the weekend since this was a late Friday repair. Unfortunately, the timing was off to obtain other quotes, my loss their gain. I believe the courteous thing to do was to honor the quote provided initially and explain why it would be $120 opposed to $90 and why the rate was arguably $139 to remove two screws and place the toilet aside. Curious!Overall: The experience was 👍to have my toilet flushing again.

New ac, furnace, and water heater. This last time was for a ac repair, either way great! We are on our 2nd repair due to the last repair not knowing this new type of system has some quirks. These last techs were Amazing! Matthew and Rafael are awesome!! And I hope we get them again tomorrow!!!

An extremely professional, knowledgeable and candid team. Unlike multiple competitors, Tipping Hat fit us in their schedule immediately and were priced competitively. It is not fun to have your AC fail and buy an entire new AC system, but if you have to, Tipping Hat is worth calling!
