We called Great Guys for some routine maintenance on our air conditioner. In booking the appointment, we found out about a great VIP program. Tom came a few days later and was fantastic. He was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and did an amazing job. He did a full inspection and cleaning of our air conditioner and explained everything in a way I could understand. He even showed me before and after photos. Before ending the visit, he gave me some tips on how to care for the system until their next visit in the fall. The bonus for me was the savings for signing up as a VIP. I never look forward to household maintenance but Great Guys made it easy.

Can I just say Great Guys is truly the best of the best! They make referring clients their way so easy! I had a client call today raving about Ethan and the amazing job he did for them on their furnace today, thank you Ethan! I had out to my house this morning. Before they arrived, I received a text with a picture of the technician, his name, and a link to track him on his way to my house. When Brian arrived, he was very respectful of my home (booties on feet), and did a great job working on my system and giving me information. I ended up signing up for their annual program because the cost was $1 more than I was going to spend for the appointment and it included a return trip. Good value there!

Tony and Alec were awesome. They worked their butts off and stayed (very) late to ensure our AC was installed and done well. Super nice guys, too!

Ethan, the technician that was sent out on this job, was remarkably efficient at diagnosing and solving the issue. He communicated clearly what was wrong and gave me options for repairing it and how to maintain the unit to prevent the problem from recurring. I really appreciate the work this company did.

I had a fantastic experience with Great Guys, yet again! Every time I've had an issue with my boiler and swamp cooler they have acted quickly to come out to resolve issues. These guys really are great. From the beginning when Marcus came to give the estimate I felt like they were trustworthy. They did a new furnace, ac, and hot water heater for us in one day. During the install they were on time, polite, and respectful to me and my home. These guys will be my go to from now on!

Having a water heater go out is always nightmare. Fortunately, I had the support of Maddy and her team. Great guy was able to send someone out without hours the morning this untimely event happened. Great Guys have saved us on several occasions. First, they kick started our old abused HVAC system after we moved into our house. About a year later when it finally croaked, they replaced it with a wonderful new machine. Now they do the maintenance and I never have to think about it!!

James Fowler from Great Guys helped with moving a return line in our bathroom and replacing the fill valve on our boiler. He was on-time, professional and so helpful to us and our contractor. I will use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone needing boiler service.

Recently the blower motor failed in the boiler. Great guys responded on a Saturday, Brian came out and diagnosed the issue. A new motor was ordered and installed within a couple of days. Brian was professional and knowledgeable and followed through on everything promptly.

Ethan helped us fix our broken thermostat on the water heater originally, but also diagnosed a malfunctioning component on our furnace while he was onsite which has finally stopped our furnace from cycling so often. He was timely and extremely helpful in explaining things every step of the way. You can just tell when someone not only cares about what they do, but in wanting to ensure they take care of any concerns that we had as well. I've worked with both Brian and Ethan from Great Guys while figuring our how to handle our dying gas furnace. Initially, we wanted to convert to an all-electric heat pump system and scheduled an initial consult with Brian. He was an absolute professional during the visit to our home...punctual, explained the options in language I could understand, and provided an excellent list of pros and cons of each system configuration option. Ultimately, the electric conversion proved too costly for the budget we had allocated (which was due entirely to my lack of understanding what all was involved prior to Brian's visit) so we ended up deciding to look into repair of our current unit. Ethan, the tech scheduled for the repair work, came out to assess the scope of repair and do some basic cleaning and servicing while he was here. He did an excellent job with the service and then explained the scope of the required repairs as well as alternative replacement options. In the end, we decided to proceed with replacing the furnace, just with a modern high-efficiency gas unit instead of electric. Two for two, I'm anticipating an excellent working relationship with Great Guys as we move forward with this project! Highly recommend!

First of all let me say that our furnace stoped working the day of below 0 weather, we had another company come to repair it. After 3 visits our furnace still did not work so we were in the cold over the Christmas Holiday. Through the recommendation from one of my employees I contacted Great Guys Heating. They were at my home with in 1 1/2 hours. Stephen Thompson found the problem with in a few minutes of checking. To make a long story short he had our Furnace up and running. I can recommend them most highly. They know what they aren doing.

We were disappointed they didn't have a technician available when our heater stopped in the middle of the night. However, the customer center employee who called us back right away in the morning was kind and helped get someone out quickly the same morning. The technician that helped was timely, knew what he was doing, and did not try to sell us on things that were unneeded. Will use again!

Stephen has been working on our seasonal swamp cooler and furnace needs for a couple of years now. He’s friendly, informs you of what’s being done and efficient. I am thankful to have found great guys, and that Stephen is one of their crew.

I have worked with Great Guys for several years. They are very professional, respond quickly and know their business well. They installed an air handler for me, worked on our drain system for our handler and have also helped with the electrical system for the AC unit. Great guys performed diagnostic on our water heater, furnace, and evaporative cooler. Walked us through each detail of each project and showed us what we can do ourselves and what was most important for our HVAC system to work properly. Super knowledgeable and easy to work with our schedule highly recommended technicians!

Spoke to the team about a leak with our split AC units. They came to the house within a few days and completed the repair under the warranty and educated us how to clean the filters. Great service and responsive. I would highly recommend this company. The installation went as planned and they honored their warranty and didn't play games. Despite having one truck down because of accident and one truck down because of a theft, they were able to come out the day after I called for a repair. The repair was done professionally and expertly by and apparently well trained technician. The price seemed fair and reasonable, although AC repair is never cheap.

Look no further for an extremely professional, fairly priced HVAC company. I first received a bid from Marcus/Brian, who were both extremely attentive to my needs and Brian was especially responsive to my follow up questions after the on-site walk through. In addition, working with Daniel to discuss duct design and equipment availability was a huge help.

We installed a new heat pump system and also all the required ductwork in the attic (covering about 1400 sq ft of house). As you can imagine, it’s easy to worry about the mess that may be created with cutting 12 holes in your ceiling, with an insulation packed attic on the other side… however Jacob and Tony were magicians and managed to far exceed my expectations on the quality of work and cleanliness of the job. Once the registers were installed, the air handler and outdoor unit portion also went smoothly. Jacob and Tony made sure to address all of my questions which made me feel confident during each step of the process. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Nick hooked up a new electric range for us. He has done many electric jobs for us and is always super pleasant and does a great job.

We have been using Great Guys for the home services part of their business. Nick handles the handy man requests and he has been amazing! We have used him numerous times! I don't even know how to hang a picture and Nick has been super patient to do all the handyman repairs I've needed in my new home. Great guys are the best! Saved our bacon more than once. Fair prices, excellent service! Referred my parents to them after another company through warranty told them they likely had a leak and it wouldn't be covered, great guys came out, tested the system, replaced a very dirty filter, and they were back in business. The first time we has issues with this unit we were told by building maintenance that we caused the issue by pushing too many buttons on the remote. When the issue had continued we contacted HVAC companies as we had not touched the remote and were still having issues, The first company that came out told us we were completely out of Coolant, had a major leak issue, that they system had not been properly installed or maintained. They told us we needed to print out the manual for the unit, that they would need to access other units to fix the issues, and told us they would have to come back another day to do the repairs, and this came with a quote of over a thousand dollars + service call. I wish i could remember the name of the tech that came out for great guys, if i get it later i will edit. Wed the 26th we had them out because our LG wall unit was not working. The tech was on time, called me before he arrived and was very nice throughout the process seemed happy to be there, happy to help. Explained everything to me as he was working. Told us the unit instal was fine, but were behind on a maintenance check. The unit was not out of coolant but was low, there was leak at the surface port but he could fix with leak stop and some tightening of fittings that had become loose. He did not need us to print out the manul and give it to him he was familiar with the unit, He did not need to access other units in the building, he did not need to come back another day to get us up and running. Our unit is working we have fresh cool air ! They did not give us the run around around, and did if for about a 3rd of what another company said it would cost. I even told him the story about being told the ladies in the office push to many buttons on the remote being the issue and when he left he told me, push as many buttons as you want you are good to go not only was he on time, respectful, seemed acutly happy to help us out, it was at a great price and came with a good laugh, which we needed after all the headaches with this unit. Thanks great guys will recommend and be calling you in future for our hvac needs ( I will even use them for my home after this experience )

James, Maddy, Adam and Marcus did an incredible job installing a new AC system, plus new electrical, in my home. They are all extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful. They had our new system installed quickly and within our time constraints for moving into a new house, and were able to get everything finished professionally and on-time despite other contractors being at our home as well. On top of that, they got us the best price we could find by far. I can't recommend them enough.

We have an old furnace that is due to be replaced in the next few years and I have been heckled by a few other maintenance companies to immediately replace the unit at the cost of $8-$10k. While our unit isn’t the most energy friendly appliance serving the earth, it’s a tank and runs strong so we’ve been waiting until it truly gives up the ghost to make the investment. Not only was Great Guys prompt, knowledgeable, & friendly, but Dave didn’t pressure me at all on purchasing a new unit. He actually clarified our existing unit is running great, showed me the dirt he cleaned out, and let me know we should be good for another year.
Did I mention the total visit took 30 minutes and was half the cost I was expecting?

Great guys heating and cooling had been an amazing company to work with. Our furnace went out unexpectedly in the middle of last winter, they were able to get a new one installed and running quickly and at a great price. This year we had some issues with the new furnace and great guys stood by their work and got everything back up and running within 24 hours. I cannot recommend them enough!

Great Guys did our HVAC on our whole-home remodel (an extensive job). Their pricing is fair, they do great business and if anything isn’t done properly, they are great about taking care of it. (Things happen. The important thing is communicating and fixing anything that needs it.) We plan to use Great Guys for all our HVAC needs for our properties in the Denver area, and would highly recommend them.

I was impressed by the service I got when I called great guys to maintain my AC. They diligently took time to clean it out inside and outside. Checked the Freon. My AC runs super efficiently again.

I have used these guys twice. The first time was for an AC causing water in my basement. The second time the ignitor was out on my furnace. The AC unit fix was quick and painless. The furnace fix though was really amazing. Within 1.5 hours from my first call to him the ignitor was replaced and we were back up and running. That included a quick run to get the parts for our specific furnace. Now, we were lucky that he was in the neighborhood on a Saturday. But still. Just amazingly fast and professional. 100% would use again and recommend.

Honestly, a HERO came to my house. Tuesday night the temperature was going below 0 degrees and my furnace had stopped working. Earlier that day another HVAC guy examined my system and told me I needed a whole new furnace. A friend gave the number for Great Guys assuring it was worth calling them. Marcus came right over (after hours) and repaired my system in minutes. He made sure everything was in perfect condition and addressed all of my concerns. Great piece of work Great Guys are! When I had called, I was having a time with water pressure for the hot water side of things. I spoke to Ron who scheduled me and stated they were about 10+ days out. Marcus gave me a
call; took the time to reach out so I could describe the problem and see how he could help. Also he followed up with me even though I had went with another service. THANKS again GREAT GUYS

I tried these guys based on the good reviews. I was more than pleased with the result. Tired of calling the big boys in town, the big HVAC groups get bigger by taking advantage of people not knowing about mechanical things. Couple years ago,I used one of the big names for a furnace cleaning and inspection. The blower capacitor was out of spec, 10% lower microfarads, and the replacement with labor was quoted at $460. Plus the service visit for inspection, $60. I thought that was high, so I declined and found a compatible capacitor for $20 online. Great guys come over, the capacitor is 15% out of spec, they quote me $149 for replacement, including labor and parts and the service visit. So I get the same service for almost $400 less. Marcus serviced our furnace, he's pleasant, respectful, and, not that it's relevant to the service performed, but also a really nice guy. Highly recommended.

I spoke to the owner, Marcus on a Saturday when I was having furnace issues. While he made himself available to make a visit if necessary, he also walked me through a few steps that I could do on my own to troubleshoot it. He was super helpful, and offering top notch customer service. This is how you win business!

If anyone in the Denver area needs AC/furnace/water heater/electrical help these are your guys! Our AC went out at 9:30p on Friday night (in the middle of weeks in the 90’s), and 12 hours later we are all squared away and for 1/4 of what some other folks were trying to charge us for a weekend repair. Marcus was super responsive to my quote request and James was so helpful while here fixing our AC unit. Can’t say enough great things!

They replaced my ac a few weeks ago. Very impressed with their response time and the work was great. And I've never been able to give 5 stars to any contractor for any work I've had done. Friendly and willing to answer my questions. They didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. My ac cools my second floor for the first time. So glad I found them.

Marcus and Maddy have serviced at least 20 of my rental properties. They get all of our annual maintenance contracts for AC, Furnaces and Evap Coolers. They are simply the best. Great experience and highly recommend! It's going to be 7 degrees tonight and our heat went out. Marcus showed up and fixed our issue. The heat is working. It's also snowing outside, the roads are not good, and it's Saturday night. He showed up and restored our heat. He was also very nice and so I'd definitely recommend using this business.

Most families have away time from the house but tend to return around dinnertime, and that's when the family learns about the broken furnace !! Most predatory companies try to take advantage of this common dilemma, but Great Guys HVAC did not !!!! They did slightly mention a fast after hours response, but steered the customer (me) toward the most sensible solution, and when they responded at 08:00 the next day we were warm and cozy by 09:30! New part, warranty, a clean workspace and courteous field engineer resulted in a satisfied customer and it did not go unnoticed!!! Thanks, Great Guys HVAC!
