Rhiley was our electrician and did a wonderful job. We called to get a ceiling fan and two chandeliers installed. Completed the free inspection and broke down a couple of recommendations as well, which was great as we have only been in our house a short while.

Rhiley and his partner got everything done quicker than expected, the work was solid, and everything was well explained. They had a free finance option too which helped us break up the payment.

We will be using Genesis moving forward and would recommend them to anyone looking for licensed, professionally completed work.

Company scheduling responded to the weekend web request first thing on Monday morning, with an appointment time that week. Then when another client had to cancel they routed Adam to my house the same day. Very fast. Adam did a great job adding a 50 amp circuit to the garage for an EV charger. Work was fast and accurate. He cleaned up afterwards too. Happy to do business with Genesis 1:3 Electric. Thanks Adam for a great job done!

Genesis was so great to work with! They over communicated the entire process and the electrician was so friendly and professional. I appreciate all the avenues of communication through text, email, calling. Don't expect that they are the cheapest, but the quality more than makes up for the cost.

Genesis 1:3 expanded my electric panel, adding new circuitry and wiring for the installation of the first A/C ever at my previous home. I was so impressed that I called them again recently to look into installing an attic fan and/or a gable fan for our new home. They really took their time scoping out the situation, and also gave me a free inspection of all of the circuitry, outlets, and panel capacity in our new home. They went over their findings in detail with me, including things that are potentially dangerous that somehow passed inspection when we bought the place. I am grateful. They also went over all of my options and the costs involved so I could make informed decisions. They are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, personable, and responsible. I highly recommend Genesis 1:3!

I just moved into an older condo and am doing kitchen and other renovations, and needed a good electrician to help me with a variety of projects. I also encountered some odd electrical issues. Rhiley with Genesis Electric was an absolute savior, and solved all of the issues immediately. Marshall Gillespie was very profession and efficient when he helped us extend wiring and install some new outlets in our home. He worked quickly and was great about explaining how he was going to do things before diving into the work. We also needed a larger amp breaker installed for our hot tub and he got everything set up in under an hour. Worked perfectly!

These gentlemen were prompt (not to mention utterly delightful) and explained everything thoroughly. They will stop at nothing to sleuth out the origin of an outage. We now have light where we haven't had it in years! I am so pleased. I'm bit sure what these things are supposed to cost so I cannot speak on price- but the value to me, was definitely worth it.

This is by far the best electrician I've worked with. I have been in need of a good company to use for our own stuff and then also to refer out. I found it! The service was quick, they explained everything that was going on and what needed to be fixed, went and got the parts and started right away when they could have easily told me they couldn't do anything until the next day. They are second to none, by far the best electricians out there! Marshall helped relocate some switches and upgraded our breaker box. Taylor came out and helped to replace all of our smoke/CO2 detectors in our rental house. He worked directly with the renters to get them done in a timely manner and was respectful of the property and the renters. Hard to find good contacts from out of state but Taylor was great!

I've been shopping around for some electrical work. The communication from many of the contractors is just that a contractor with no personality, knowledge of what is needed, ability to give a solid estimate and how much work/time it will take. I was referred to this electrical company by my contractor’s brother. As someone else said, I usually do not write bad reviews on a company. But I am tired of people not following through with what they say they will do. I called Genesis 1:3 and was able to get someone to come out within ten days of the date I called. I thought that was a reasonable amount of time to set an appointment. Ben (it was supposed to be Ethan) showed up on time and was very courteous and professional. That part went well. Then I waited for the estimate. And waited. And waited. I finally got a call from Allison, who is also very pleasant and professional (the two people I dealt with are why I gave this place two stars instead of one), to let me know she told Ethan to get me an estimate. She verified my email address and said I would hear from Ethan soon. That was a week ago. So after waiting three weeks just to receive an estimate for the work, and still not having received anything, I would not recommend this electrical firm. My landscaper needs the electrician to dig the trenches to take electricity out to two sheds in the back, and because of their failure to get us an estimate, it is stalling the entire project. I can understand that a firm is busy and may have to schedule work a ways out, but there is no excuse for not staying in contact with a potential customer.

Genesis 1:3 installed a subpanel and new outlets in my garage workshop, and wired my 220v heater and lights out there as well. Dustin is very polite and easy to work with. He did my quote; his guys that came to do the work were on time, polite, did great work, and cleaned up well when they left. Because it was such a busy time, Dustin did ask to reschedule my job, and offered me a discount from my original quote in return. Yes, we exchanged a few texts to get the right new work day for both of us, but Dustin is easy to work with and clearly he wanted to be accommodating. I got more than I asked for on the job and am very pleased with it. I would definitely recommend Genesis 1:3 for your residential electrical needs, and they will be my first call should I need other work done in the future.

Had an emergency with our fuse box and electric panel due to incorrect wiring from our dryer. Genesis was there within one hour! He was very quick and fixed the problem, including our dryer . Very nice, working with a smile. HIGHLY recommended!! Thank you Genesis 1:3!!

I have had Genesis out to my home 3 times now and I am deeply satisfied with the work that was provided! The first time I had a hot tub craned onto an upper deck and had to have electrical 220 amp. installed with electrical box and the whole nine yards. At one point in the evening I noticed it wasn't working right and the person who installed the equipment, said I'll be right over, even though it was 8:00 at night and a half an hour from his house. I was extremely pleased and surprised that they took such pride in their work and that they didn't want any permanent damage to occur to my new hot tub! Dustin, the owner has a very integrity based business and I will always use them!

We called Genesis and two days later Ethan arrived exactly on time. The work was done quickly and efficiently and at a great price. Excellent customer service, we would definitely use them again!

My family had just moved to a new house five months after purchasing our new hot tub. We were wary of the price of running new electric at the new place, but after calling Dustin at Genesis, we were overjoyed that we could keep it affordable. He and his crew were great to work with, kept up all communication until the job was completed, and were clear and upfront about all costs. I am now enjoying my hot tub and I would definitely use Genesis again!

Great! I had a leg of my electric service fail. They came the next morning and located the underground fault . They had to repair all 3 lines. Unfortunately it failed again the next month. That time they were booked up for a week and I had no power (and no water because we have well water). I found another contractor (All Season Electric) and Genesis took care of the bill. Awesome service, super reasonable rates (Plumbline wanted more than 3 times what either of these companies wanted)

I called for an emergency job, I needed a new breaker and a handful of outlets added to my basement. Genesis 1:3 Electric showed up on time and did a great job. The price was significantly lower than previous bids and the job took half the time that the other electricians quoted. I am very pleased with both the gentlemen that did the work and the job that they did. I will be using them to finish my basement.

They used to be on top of things and were very organized and efficient. So can they have grown so in the last year I think thier customer service has went downhill tremendously.
It would take them 3-4 times to actually get out to my jobsite to do an estimate. That was mainly due to being too busy and have got re-schedule over and over again. Always changing dates in me. The last straw was when we were about ready to have the rough electrical start on a basement finish they just decide that they can't do business with me anymore and back out of a already agreed to job. Probably because I was a bit flustered at the lack of professionalism on the part of their estimator who was way over his head the last time we spoke and I told him so.
He didn't like me telling him I hope you have a better day than the last time we spoke
Very unprofessional. I can only imagine it getting worse as they get busier and busier and not delegating the work to qualified personal.
I am glad I moved onto another company.
Communication is key in the Construction trade. Hopefully Genesis 1:3 will learn that before it causes more harm than good.

We bought a home in Perry Park that needed lots of attention starting the original electrical breaker box located on the outside of the garage and going from there to every part of the house. Genesis installed a new breaker box with the latest technology in breakers inside the garage and then rewired almost all of the entire home. This job took a year to complete because of work by other tradesmen. Dustin and his crew stuck with the job and we are now in the punch list phase. My wife and I would recommend Genesis to anyone contemplating a large remodel project.

Some of the best contractors we've dealt with in Colorado. Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and our quote was half of what someone else wanted. Will be having them come back soon to do work in our barn.

I usually don't write a bad review on someone and just not use them for my work. However, this one deserves this review. Obtained this guys number (Dustin) from a good friend of mine to do some work at the house. Called and seemed that everything would be okay in the beginning. Was told I would receive a call back to schedule a time and day to come out and see what we needed to get done. Explained exactly what we wanted to have done. 3 small canned lights, some under cabinet LED lighting and replacing the light over our table. He told me that would probably be a full day of work and 6-8 hours and quoted approx. $600 for the job. Figured that was a somewhat fair deal (maybe a little expensive) and that as long as I could get it done, we'd be oaky with that. After several days of waiting, I decided to call / text him back to see what was going on. He told me that he had lost my info (already not a good sign). Thought, okay, not that big of a deal at this point. I made arrangements to get off work early to be home for him during HIS schedule to come and do the estimate. At this point seemed like he thought he was doing me a favor. When we decided on a date and time I asked him if he needed my address. His response was no. I thought, hmmmm, if you lost my info, then how'd you know my address. Again, I let it go. Called him on the day in question letting him know that I was on my way and he let me know that he wasn't going to make it and that he would send someone else to look at the work. Okay, I'd already left work so figured may as well follow through. When I got home and started to go over everything with the guy he sent over. It seemed that he really didn't know too much (at least that was my impression). He had a ton of questions about the job which I though was good at first till he asked to see the directions on lights that he could take with him. This is when I started to get a little concerned about him. Once again, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and pushed on. After about an hour or so of talking about the job. I asked him about how long did he think the work would take and he said about 6 hours. So, at this point I'm thinking that we're on the same page and that we'd be good to go. 3 days go by waiting for an answer on the job. I sent a text message to Dustin asking about it. No response. Called and LVM the next day asking him to call me and followed up with a text message. Now's when the other shoe drops. He says $875 now to do the job. I'm like hang on a sec. Both of them said about 6 hours + - to do the job and at $75 an hour, $875 is now turning into an 11 hour quote. Talk about a bait and switch and adding an additional 50% to the cost! Needless to say, I won't be using their services and would highly recommend to anyone considering using this company to look elsewhere as there are several reputable companies out there to choose from. STAY AWAY FROM DUSTIN AND GENESIS 1:3 ELECTRIC. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.
