I just wanted to share about the experience I had with Jason M. I was having difficulty understanding why my power was going out in the living room and dining room of a new townhouse that was built in November 2017. Jason did a fabulous job of trying to diagnose the problem and in the process showed his true colors by being patient and persistent. The builders were saying it was WireNut's fault as they installed a new outlet. But in the end it ended up being the builder who put a nail into the wire during construction and it was causing the outages. Jason was always very polite, punctual, and quite the problem solver. I highly recommend Jason and the WireNut company.

We had installers refuse to install appliances because they smelled gas. We were understandably upset and turned off the gas supply to our house. Applewood responded to our call for plumbing assistwance within two hours. Our technician, Nate, was professional and tested the gas supply carefully before judging that it was not leaking and safe to use. The installers had apparently smelled residual gas when I disconnected the dryer gas supply just before they arrived. Because we had been referred by a neighbor who had had used and valued Applewood's work, there was no charge for the the visit. Such value and consideration is rare these days.

I hired SJO Electric through my general contractor. They were hired to do a significant amount of work at my home: installing new circuits, relocating receptacles and switches, and installing 86+ lighting fixtures. SJO has been pre-paid to perform all of this work.

Mid project I discovered that neither SJO nor my contractor pulled any of the required permits for this work. Both SJO and the contractor walked off the job when I questioned this.

To date, SJO is refusing to return to complete the job. I was left with electrical work that not only was not permitted, it was not even up to code! Additionally, they will not speak with me or refund me the $10,585 they were pre-paid for parts and labor to install my light fixtures, receptacles, switches, etc. I have detailed invoices and a signed statement from SJO accounting department to confirm this.

Ed has been a nightmare to deal with. I wouldn't hire Ed or SJO to change the batteries in a flashlight, much less to any actual electrical work in a house. The electrician I hired to finish the job was highly critical of the work performed by SJO.

Gave me the runaround for 24/7 service that I needed for an assisted living. Thanks for the spoiled milk!

We reached out to AAA Service due a potential backed up drain, and were able to schedule the appointment the same day. Jim Anderson showed up on time and was able to evaluate the situation quickly, and determined we did not have an immediate need to clear the drain. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and how personable he was. I appreciate the honesty and professionalism and will be calling AAA Service and requesting Jim with any future needs.

He did a really nice job to make sure that everything was handled quickly and cleanly! Came out on short notice on a Friday on his day off when our 14 yr old hot water heater sprung a leak.
