1st Choice Mechanical was great from start to finish. They genuinely cared about my experience and the quality of the system they would leave behind. They were flexible during the process and resolved several other issues with the system besides the aging equipment. They entertained my questions and concerns with patience. They completed the entire 2 unit indoor/outdoor units in one day. They were polite and respectful of my family and they were extremely clean for the entire process. Called to see about having my air fixed. The man that answered couldn't be bothered to talk into the phone-he mumbled the whole call. I have a national service plan that can be honored by any Rudd authorized dealer. When I asked if they worked with the warranty company his answer was uh. I don't think so.. I said it was a yes/no question. Its getting very hot in my house. He then said no and hung up. Wow. All the great reviews here and this was the first impression? Huh. I won't call them back and try again.

AZ Perfect Comfort to the rescue! Sought a second opinion on what seemed a questionable assessment by another company. Bottom line: Saved $5,000! It always pays to do business with people you know like and trust.

Arcadia Air is great! Jimmy is beyond professional and really knows what he is doing in HVAC. I was in town visiting my grandmother when her AC unit went out. I called around to a bunch of big companies to compare and im so glad i went with Arcadia. Price was the best out of them all and installation was done within a day of confirming pricing. Highly recommend!

Second and 3rd trip out were just as pleasant. After troubleshooting a leak, we now have replacement hot water heater. The point important to me is the sincerity exhibited in the service. Shawn would tied delicately to ensure his work was and the customer’s satisfaction were equal. We will call Parker again.We asked that our hot water tank be serviced and to change or evaluate the anode rod. The service person was sincere and helpful. He could have easily changed and charged us for it but instead quoted the price for replacement, checked it, and explained that it wasn’t ready to change. Gave us a timeline as to when we could estimate it would require changing and met this picky woman’s expectations.

Howard air came for a quality inspection after the new installation.
There were 2 men due to the extension ladder needed to check air conditioning.

The team was extremely professional just like the install team and checked what was needed. When they were done they informed all was good and they were leaving.

If I could give 10 stars to Howard Air and the people who work for them I would.

We just moved into a new house. Our AC went out on a Friday evening. I called Five Star to see if they could come out. Dan arrived at 8am the next morning and quickly diagnosed the issue.

He got the unit back up and running and it works great now! He made a few recommendations as well that were helpful.

I initially called them because they were close, but I’ll absolutely use them again.

I was very happy with the attentiveness and professionalism of Mountainside Air. They were helpful, responsive and timely during the whole install process. I would highly recommend them for any AC service.

We got a new A/C installed. They were friendly, on time, and worked hard. They were available to ask questions and seemed like they did their job quick. Overall very happy with the service. Once the job was done, they ensured I was happy with the installation and cleaned up as if they had never even been there. Highly recommend this company. And their prices were unbeatable!

Thank you KJs. You have serviced my AC repairs for years at very fair prices. This year, the inevitable happened and it was time to replace 2 units in our home. They gave us more then 1 option & price points. We felt like they educated us to make the best decision based on the size of our home & usage needs.

Preemptive tl;dr AccuTemp won't flood the airwaves with commercials, but there's no substitute for a reliable company that doesn't put the squeeze on your wallet. We've had them out a handful of times over the years, and this company has always been a fair dealer. They deserve your business. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Now the deets:

About a month ago over a weekend, our AC went out in a monsoon storm. Facing a sticky, sweaty night, we scheduled with the first company to answer the phone at midnight, which unfortunately wasn't AccuTemp, our usual standby. Turns out, answering the phones overnight is a poor way to judge reliability. That other company was evasive about when precisely they would be coming out (so much for 24/7 emergency service, too) and seemed to struggle with communication between technician and dispatch.

With morning giving way to afternoon, temps inside rising, and no work van in sight, we gave AccuTemp a jingle. Unlike the company that shall remain nameless, AccuTemp managed to give us an actual estimated time of arrival AND THEN beat that time by about an hour! Once here, the technician Brian was very friendly and helpful while explaining everything he was doing to fix the chain of issues plaguing our old unit. He got the AC up and running and didn't break the bank doing so. Here I am a month later with an AC that is chilly as ever!

They did a great job. Would hire again.

I was impressed with Ryan's work. I am a 45 year member of Plumbers and Steamfitters. The work performed was very professional. It was so nice to have work done correctly, instead of the poor craftsmanship that I have seen so far out here in Arizona. If anything else needs to be done correctly, I will call Pro Skill. Scott has provided great customer service for a lot of people in my network. After hearing them rave about his work, I felt comfortable choosing him as my HVAC tech. He did not dissappoint! If you want integrity, knowledge and quality work for a great price Scott is your man!

So far everything Jeff said he would do he has done. Very satisfiedOne last issue with some ceiling and wall damage during the installation. I was assured that this would be taken care of soon.Fixed the problem with the 5 ton compressor.

We had 2 AC units replaced and from the first phone call the process was handled with professionalism. Troy was very responsive even calling me while out of the country. It was a complicated project requiring several days and these guys did a great job! Highly recommended!
