Best Heating And Cooling Issues in Phoenix AZ

Rene showed up at our house just 2 hours after our initial request for service. Said he could repair our 16 yr. old washer, but it would be better to get a new one (we agreed).He stayed on the line with the home warranty company until they finally answered. Rene told us the phrase to use with the warranty company when we called them to get reimbursed for a new machine rather than just a repair. We would have never known that option. He was very professional and patient.

Nathan came at 8pm, just an hour after I called following my A/C system failing. I have 2 little kids so it was important that it got fixed quickly, and Nathan got it up and running!

I originally decided to not leave a review as it would be negative. Because Goettl could not repair my AC, I was to get a full refund (less the service fee). For 3 weeks, I have been told my refund has been processed. I finally had to place a dispute with my credit card company. Being lied to and taken advantage of has really upset me and I do not want others to have this happen.

3 weeks ago, I contacted Goettl as my AZ blower motor stopped working. I have a 4.5 year old unit. The operators were pleasant and was able to get me an appointment the next day which was on a Saturday. The tech showed up and determined it was the blower motor. He then proceeded to tell me all the things wrong with the unit and all that needs to be done. As a property manager of 20 years, managing thousands of units, I knew this was all a sales pitch and all that was needed was a motor (which is still under warranty by the manufacturer. I agreed to have them repair the blower motor to get me up and running.

Before collecting my payment, the major sales pitch started. I was told I should get just get a whole new unit and ductwork (again, AC and ductwork is all brand new 4.5 years ago) and they could get me on a monthly payment plan for a whopping $12,000.00!! He then said my unit was so dirty, it would have to be fully chemically cleaned should I decide to keep it. Again, as a property manager I know the importance of home maintenance and I have maintained and cleaned the coils on an annual basis. He took my credit card payment of nearly $1600 up front so they could order and install the motor once received.

I agreed again, to just have the motor put in as it was supposed to be warm and needed my AC running.

Monday, I received a call from someone from the office stating they would not be able to get my unit up and running until the MIDDLE OF DECEMBER!! There was a shortage of variable speed motors, and they just could not do anything else- but again, they could fully replace the unit. The other option was for them to place a temporary blower fan in my unit for ANOTHER $1600! I said this was unacceptable and to refund my money less the service call, to which I agreed.

The next day, I contacted another AC Service Company (A&C Services by Able), a licensed, bonded, insured company with the owner having 30 plus years AC experience. Within less than 48 hours, they were able to retrieve the new motor (paid for under warranty, by the way), get to my house, and install. My unit was up and running with an OEM motor, covered by warranty, within 48 hours, all for $260!!

Goettl charged my $1600 and was telling me it would be 2 month until they could repair. But again, they could sell me an entire new unit!

I contacted Goettl 4 (four) times asking about my refund. For 3 weeks, I was told it was in process. As of date- I have no refund and was forced to place a dispute with my credit card company.

I had high hopes for Goettl but was sorely disappointed. Again, I was not going to leave a negative review although their pricing is out of line and certainly, they take advantage of people. Shame on you, Goettl. You need to do better!

Who'd like to bet now this review was written, I will get a call back regarding my refund!?

Words are not enough to express how thankful I am that I found AZ Perfect Comfort. Since I moved to AZ 6 years ago, one of my biggest complains is the lack of great customer service. I spoke with a rep at AZ Perfect, she answered the phone at the second ring, she had great attitude, and she was able to scheduled me for service right away. The day of the estimate and installation of A/C unit for my garage. Fred and his team were right on time. Even my wife called me to express her satisfaction. I would highly recommend them, they are the best in Arizona!!!

Had an issue with my system so I called them, scheduled me the same day and came out and fixed the issue. These guys are awesome!

Dennis Supernaw was recently at my home to replace all of my under-sink water shut-off valves. They had become corroded over the years and he recommended the Dahl Co. brand as a top replacement model. I researched this and found it to be true. They make the best valves in the market and it seemed like a wise investment to put them in. Dennis showed up on time, was very professional and explained everything clearly while he was working. I would call to have him return for any future needs. Thank you Dennis.

George and Tyler installed a 4 ton heat pump. Very fast and at a great price. Highly recommended to neighbors in Sun Lakes.

I had Five Star Air Conditioning install a new AC unit at the beginning of the summer. Tony and Ashley came out, removed the old unit and installed a new one. They were on time and very professional. They came back out a couple months later to check on the unit and were both very personable and friendly.
If I ever have any issues with my air conditioner or need another unit replaced I would contact them again.

AccuTemp replaced both of our AC units and did and incredible job! I would highly recommend, their staff goes above and beyond. The employee's took calls after hours and assisted with any questions.

Kane Clark from ProSkill Services came out to service our under-sink water filter, water softener, and water heater. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. He checked the water pressure and it was hovering around 85psi during the day, so at night it would likely get as high as 100psi or more when people aren't using their water. He recommended installing a pressure regulator, provided a quote and talked through what he would do. I decided to do it and he was back out in a few days and did an excellent job. Glad to find a great service company. Here's a picture of the quality workmanship Kane provided today.

For the second time in six months I have used Newman Commercial Refrigeration and both times I was impressed by their courtesy, attention to detail and overall responsiveness. I am planning on using them again and would recommend anyone in the neighborhood to do so as well.

Larson Air Conditioning is worthy of much praise. All the gentlemen, from the Supervisor to the Technician and his Assistant were very professional, very nice and very polite. Highly recommend.

Roys Air Conditioning and Heating is a very professional company. They show-up in the allotted time frame, they call in advance to give you an ETA to your place. The work is professionally done, with close attention to detail. And, what has helped me a lot, is the fact that if repairs are recommended / required for my 11 y/o A/C unit, they tell me what price I’m looking to spend for the part(s), if need be. Once the work is complete, they thoroughly explain what work was performed on the unit!

I’ve been using this guy for the last 9 years and have always been happy with his work and professionalism. I would most definitely recommend Roys for anyone needing A/C repair & PM service.

Kyle came in and saved the day. The shower handle was not giving any hot water. He quickly discovered that another company had installed it improperly. He fixed it without adding any new parts There was absolutely NO CHARGE for his service, not even a service call charge. Unbelievable.

If you need A/C pros, these are the folks to deal with!
