Great company and great techs. Only thing to provide even more exceptional customer service would of been a portable unit to keep cool while installation was being performed. It can get very hot as they do a 8hr installation with no AC. Would of also been nice if they provided a filter after installation. Overall I would recommend to anyone and thanks again 1st choice mechanical!

I seldom leave reviews as I expect good service, unless an company is extremely bad, but Frank went above and beyond by explaining our system to us and also installing a new thermostat while he was here. His service and patience was excellent. Will recommend.

Excellent service and Veteran owned. The technician went above and beyond the job. I have a new AC unit but he installed the Nexia wifi thermostat. While installing he identified a major wiring issued left by the previous guys. He fixed the issue, installed the thermostat and everything has been running smoothly ever since. I highly recommend this company and upgrading to the Nexia thermostat.

This company has been top notch. I’ve worked with Taps and Jon at my work and now use them for my home. They are wonderful to work with and prices are fair and transparent. They are very responsive and communicate well. ComfortOne is my go to HVAC company.

This was the company assigned to me by my home warranty company. Beginning in June my air conditioner stopped blowing cold. A tech would come out and fix the issue (blown fuse, exploded coil, leak). This happened every couple of weeks until one Monday in July when the tech came again and said the unit was no longer repairable and would need to be replaced. In order to get the unit replaced my home warranty company needed the tech's paperwork from this call. By Thursday of that week he had still not submitted it. I had to repeatedly make calls in order to get that paperwork submitted meanwhile I have no air conditioning in 115 degree Phoenix weather. After TWO WEEKS of no air conditioning I finally had an appointment to have the new unit installed. I was told my appointment would be on a Saturday anywhere between 8-12. This was confirmed by both email and text. By 12 on Saturday no one had shown up so I called the company and was then told that actually my appointment was scheduled for anywhere between 12-4. No one had called me to tell me the appointment time had changed so I spent an entire morning waiting for them. Once they actually arrived the installation went fairly quickly and so far the new unit is blowing cold. I have not been satisfied with the communication from this company. I have had to call them every step of the way in order to prompt this installation along. No one contacts me even when something with my appointment changes, but they have no problem contacting me multiple times once a payment is due. Would not choose to use this service again.

Highly recommend this company. Arrived 8 am sharp, and had old unit out after a bit of work. Our attic is not ac repairman friendly, but they got it done. After one month of window units, Home was cool in minutes. They even replaced our old return vent cover. The old one was an eyesore. James Browne was polite and cheerful. His workers stayed on task and took care of business.. An AC unit in a home is a big expense, so picking this Company was a great choice. AND THEY BEAT MY OTHER QUOTES BY CLOSE 2K. THANKS GUYS , GREAT JOB!

When it came time to replace/upgrade our 20 year old heat pump, Tom and Steve @ Mountainside Air came highly recommended and did not disappoint. They were extremely responsive, professional and took time to walk us through our various options and the pros/cons of each. When installing the unit, the attention to detail, quality, and personal pride in their work was obvious. Would highly recommend.

Prestige Mechanical was sent to us by First American Warranty and they are the best Air Conditioning company ever sent to us. Our tech Anton was on time, very courteous and thorough in all he did. He also keep us informed of the repairs and what he did to correct them. He not only needed to order a part but went and picked it up to finish the job that day instead of ordering and rescheduling. We have never experienced this kind of service with air conditioning companies. We would highly recommend Prestige Mechanical for air conditioning service and repair.

Dave and his team are a homeowners dream. After being quoted an astronomical price to replace a compressor on a TRANE unit that was warrantied(only the part) MD's was plenty fair on price and offered excellent service front to back. You'll be glad you hired this company.

We had an after hours air-conditioning emergency and our regular repairman was not available. I found these people after recognizing their distinctive vans with the AZ flag on them. I called, needing somebody out right away. Within 90 minutes, the repairman was at the front door with ID. He found the problem and was able to repair it even it though it was now after sunset. He was neat, courteous, honest, and direct and advised me to have the regular service company out as soon as they had an appointment available, since the part was under warranty with them.
I now have another A/C service company that I can keep in mind when hot weather fills everyone's schedules.
They also offered coupons off service calls and repairs, so I even saved some money.
Thank you Arizona Refrigeration for saving me an overnight hotel stay.

Ive had a lot of issues with this company... but the one I cant get passed is.. they didnt set up the common wire to my Nest tstat.. just so when the battery died they could get another dollar charging me for that fix. I fixed it myself.. and found shady HVAC companies do this to scam costumers.

This company offers such a wide array of services that it makes it very convenient to have one contractor be able to handle your HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs on one visit for a whole home improvement. It is a huge hassle to have to coordinate estimates with various time windows from multiple contractors.
