Best Preventative Maintenance in Phoenix AZ

Out water heater died, and Cody came out the same day I called, had to put it though my landlords, then came back and installed the new one in about an hour.

This review is overdue. We've relied on Sav-On Plumbing for repairs and upgrades for a couple of years. Their customer service is always outstanding. They are easy to schedule, show up promptly, and consistently do an excellent job. I highly recommend them.

Eddie was great! He told me about items that can protect my system. He did all of it same day. He even found a issue with a part and replaced it for me.

Tim was very professional in the service of our A/C system. Unlike other businesses who blamed the age of the unit for its poor performance, he was able to locate the actual cause for the loss of AC, fixed it and brought our unit back to a reasonable performance.

Kevin always does a great job, Sun Devil is always very responsive and always arrives on time. I always know what to expect when I call. I highly recommend!

Received 2 other bids for new AC/Furnace. Both companies were switching back n forth on equipment recommendations then labor costs. Lost all confidence. I used Mike from Cactus Mechanical a few years back so decided to call him. BEST move I have ever made!!! He is extremely knowledgeable & his recommendations were spot on. Very reasonably & competitively priced. The 4 man crew installed both units (2.5 & 3.5 ton) in under 8 hrs. EXTREMELY pleased with results, equipment & overall company.

Juan, Danny, Mark and one other man and I’m sorry but I forgot his name came out yesterday to install my two new Train A/C units. They did a fantastic job installing the units. They were very professional and all were very nice guys. Answered all my questions, showed me how to use the new thermostats. One of the most important thing is they cleaned up after themselves when the were done for the day you couldn’t tell they were here.Needless to say I am very pleased how the installation went. Scottsdale Air has serviced our A/C for 15 years and has not disappointed in any way. We are having a new Trane unit installed by them.

Fred Russo and HVAC tech Justin did a nice job of replacing our 4 ton heat pump. On time, they cleaned up after they were done. I would highly recommend AZ Perfect Comfort.

Stuart was prompt, courteous, friendly, professional, informative, efficient, and kind. He was able to get our a/c working great and did not leave until he knew it was fixed and fully functional. I highly recommend both Stuart and ACE to anyone in need of hvac service or repair.

Brandon came out to our home, on time and within the window stated. Extremely professional and personable. Would highly recommend using them again. Will keep their information handy for our HVAC needs in the future.

When we purchased our home early in 2014, we had been informed by the home inspector that our HVAC system was over 15 years old and that we should expect to replace it in the future.
During a recent cold snap, we needed warm air, but found our system would not function (glad this didn't happen when we needed the AC this past summer!). Howard Air was called (they kindly bumped up our previously scheduled maintenance visit) and Bryan, our usual tech confirmed that our system was in need of expensive repairs (confirmed by competing bids we received over the next two days by other HVAC companies) or replacement.
Bryan made arrangements for Scott Bird, a senior HVAC consultant to visit our home & provide a detailed analysis & presentation. Scott arrived the next day and at the conclusion of his thorough inspection of our HVAC, roof & attic, gave us a detailed presentation of our options. Scott (he has an engineering background) answered each of our questions and concerns. We decided not waste further money on an 18 year old system and went with a replacement. We received bids from a total of 3 HVAC companies and chose Howard Air as they best provided the best overall option for us. Scott also had one of their techs to provide emergency repairs (free of charge) to our old HVAC so we had heat until the new unit could be installed several days later.
The day of the install, the lead tech Kyle (courteous, professional) did an outstanding job with the rest of his team during the entire process. We received a text and email with his photo and estimated (right on time) arrival. They expertly removed our old HVAC and installed the new one with a huge crane (they were careful and did not damage our palm trees or roof) and carefully cleaned up when finished. Kyle also provided detailed instructions (a booklet was included) on our new thermostat.

We are very satisfied with the way Howard Air professionally resolved our HVAC issue from beginning to end. Special thanks to Scott, Bryan, Kyle and Amber (also the emergency tech whose name I cannot recall) at Howard Air!

Recently relocated to the East Valley from out of state. One of the things that our home inspector recommended was that we have our AC checked more thoroughly.

We carried out some online research and contacted Howard Air to set up an appointment. Tina took my call and kindly set up an appointment for the same day which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise.

Bryan, the tech that was assigned to us was friendly and professional. He did an outstanding job performing the standard service call. He took multiple photos of our A/C/Heat Pump unit which is located up on the roof of our home. He then showed me the photos of several components of our A/C system and fully explained their function and why they needed to be replaced in order for our system to run more efficiently. The price quoted was very competitive as well.

We gave Bryan the green light to proceed and he replaced the components, added additional Freon and even kindly washed our permanent filter (he explained how important it is to keep this filter clean and to do this each month to ensure unrestricted airflow) and even installed a ptrap in our condensation pipe without charge.

Bryan was asked about several photos of our A/C unit that were taken by our inspector and there were several items that he said did not need to be worked on at this time as they were actually in good condition. I appreciate Bryan's integrity and this reflects well not only on him, but on Howard Air too.

Bryan also immediately emailed us our invoice when we paid with our credit card. We appreciate that paperless option for our records.

I had an appointment scheduled for this company to fix a minor issue with my air-conditioning and the company said they left myself or my husband’s Apple messages to which they didn’t and when I called to see what was up and if the company was actually coming out they said oh we didn’t respond to our messages so we can’t send a tech out and I had to re-confirm the appointment and go through everything all over again I had done the night before. I had an appointment scheduled for this company to fix a minor issue with my air-conditioning and the company said they left myself and my husband’s Apple messages to which they didn’t and when I called to see what was up and if the company was actually coming out they said “oh we didn’t respond to our messages so we can’t send a tech out”. Go to companies try to call you again prior to coming out for an appointment and not just one and done. I had to re-confirm the appointment and go through everything all over again I had done the night before with my issue. The gentleman I spoke to then proceeded to tell me again this is my fault I didn’t answer my phone even though they had the wrong number and “that the ball was in my court and I could decide if I wanted my AC fixed or not”

I work in Industry where we use a lot of companies for air-conditioning and plumbing and they said the worst customer service I’ve ever received. Dementia and even though this was a minor fix that needed to be addressed I have a baby so I can’t have my house 100+ degrees that’s why I needed this fixed so quickly. Did not expect the treated so poorly to be interrupted and to be treated aggressively when I asked a question on why are you going through this all again I thought I had an appointment scheduled. I’ll be using the family ever again and I will be telling all my industry partners in multi family, real estate as well as my family and friends to not use this company based upon the customer service and lack of follow through from this company.

Mark was on time, very professional and straight to the point. Fixed my AC in less than 30 mins!

Technicians were great not only installing new equipment but finding issues and fixing issues from the original build.
